Chapter 90: The Wrong Idea

Gar walked through the halls of UA and greeted just about everyone who he passed. He was in a very good mood today despite what happened a few days ago. To others, he almost looked like a sun from how he radiated. After saying hi to everything that could talk or make sound, he made it to Class 1-A where he opened the doors and greeted the whole class. Everyone but the girls greeted him back, which he noticed. He looked over and saw all the girls crowded around one table and giggling while looking at something.

"Good morning girls.", He greeted cheerfully while approaching the Girls. Only for them to become startled by his presence and try to play off nonchalantly. He noticed and asked, "Girls?"

Mina was the first to speak as she hid something behind her back and quickly said, "Oh! Hey Gar! Good morning, how are you?! That's great! Well see ya later!"

Gar was confused, then concerned, and finally suspicious. He crosses his arms, narrows his eyes, and asks, "Okay, what's going on here? What are you girls hiding from me?"

"Nothing!", Toru said a little too quickly.

"Nothing doesn't act like that. What's going on here, hm?", Gar stated.

It's nothing! Honest.", Jiro tried to chime in and dissuaded him, only to fail at not looking nervous.

At this point, Gar was already in front of the girls and trying to sneak a peek at what they were hiding by using his height. The girls had formed a semi-circle around the desk, most of them in the front trying to block Gar. But soon, Momo took one for the team.

"I'll take care of this.", The tall girl said to her friends as she stood in front of a very suspicious Gar, before saying in a very dignified way, "Gar. I would just like to say, as the voice of our group, that we respect your decision. It is entirely up to you what and when you do it. And honestly, we shouldn't be acting the way we are about this. And we'll…you shouldn't feel any shame in exploring your body safely and healthily. And for that we respect you."

Momo smiled at Gar, and Gar just looked at her like she started to create babies from her quirk. He then took a deep breath and asked, "Okay. Momo, that was sweet and all, but what in the name of Lugia are you blabbering about!?"

Uraraka finally caved and admitted, "It's about the magazine from The Hero High Helm."

Gar looked at her and the rest of the girls strangely before bragging to the group, grabbing the hidden object from Mina and looking them over.

"What? Lemme see that.", He demanded while flipping open the magazine. After a very tense moment of the girls watching and waiting for his response, he said with familiarity, "Oh yeah I remember doing this. So this is the summer catalog.", Gar flipped through a few more pages and smiled as he said, "Gotta admit I look good in these, even if I'm in something that barely counts as swimwear.", He then put the magazine away and told the girls in an understanding yet scolding tone, "Now look girls, I'm not saying you shouldn't be looking at stuff like this. Your teenagers, it's normal for you. But you don't have to be so over the top about it when it comes to seeing my butt in a Speedo. Just keep it on the down low, okay?"

"That's not it.", Tsuyu admitted.

"What that mean?", Gar inquired.

"Page 69.", Jiro told him, hiding her red face.

"Page…69?", Gar questions while opening the magazine to the page number and briefly looking it over while saying, "What? It's just a picture of me and Aegislash in-OH MY ARCEUS!"

Hats face washing flushed red at what he saw! What was supposed to be a picture of him in Speedo model number eventeen while holding Aegislash like a royal hero ready for battle, was instead the same picture that looked as though he was using Aegislash to "cover-up". Gar was on the precipice of stammering and throwing accusations as he held the magazine with a death grip! He looked between the girls and knew that's what they gained from it, his face growing even more red!

He quickly decided to put an end to whatever they were thinking and yelled, "NO! NO NO NO! That is not what it looks like! Not at all!"

"Gar it's okay. We understand if you want stuff like this-.", Momo tried to assure him only for the young man to cut her off.

"No! You don't understand! I'm not naked in that photo!", Gar shouted more than loud enough for all eyes in the room to be on him.

After a very long, heavy silence of awkward tension, Mina was the first to speak up as she asked, "You're not?"

"No! I was wearing a Speedo! I swear!", Gar exclaimed with his face still red with embarrassment. He then took a bit to calm down and thought aloud, "Now that I think about it, it was a bit strange why they were telling me to hold Aigeslash in such a weird way. But now it makes sense! I told them I wouldn't do nudes, but they tricked me into making it look like I did!", His mood quickly shifted from embarrassed to angry as he shouted, "Oh if I ever see that Commander guy, I swear to Ho-oh I'm gonna…..GURRRRR!"

He then quickly fell off his emotional rollercoaster as he dropped his whole body over, looking like he was stretching, and said in a disconcerted tone, "Knowing how popular this magazine is, I bet it's selling like hotcakes."

He looks up at the girls and to his horror. They all nodded, making him crumble to the ground and wine.

"Great. Now everyone in Japan is gonna get the wrong idea. I just hope-.", He started to mope until Rotom popped out and showed the screen to his face, revealing he had a call from the person he was about to mention! To which he yelled in exasperation, "Oh, speak of Giratina, It's her!"

He then stood up and accepted the call, deciding it was better to get it over with now. He sighs and greets, "Hi Rumi."

A huge wave of loud laughter burst from the other end! Loud enough for everyone to hear as Gar yells at her, "Stop laughing! I know what this is about!"

The laughing stopped and the sound of Miriko talking at the other end could be heard. Gar replied, "Yes…..Yes. The Hero High Helm. Page 69."

"Yes I understand the irony.", Gar replied.

"No, I was not!", He yelled over the other end before slapping his face and groaning, "UGH! Look! Just look. It's a misunderstanding. I'm wearing a Speedo in that photo."

A brief pause and Gar exclaimed, "Yes really! They just made it look like I was!"

some were talking from the rabbit hero as Gar replied, "Yes….yes….no! Seriously!"

Gar groaned again before getting more irritated and saying, "Ok okay look…..stop laughing it's not funny!"

Gar waited for her to stop before continuing, telling her, "Look, just call Kegio before he-."

Before he could finish that thought, he saw someone else was trying to call and after looking at the phone screen he cursed, "Oh Bebarriel damnit!"

There was talking on the other end and Gar replied, "Yes, he's trying to call me.", and bit more talk and Gar exclaimed, "No I'm not gonna pick it up! Just call him yourself and explain it's a farce."

There was a confused sound on the other end as if being asked a question, and Gar told her, "Because I'll be on the phone with him all day!"

A bit more talk from the Rabbit hero and Gar half yelled while hanging up, "Okay, bye-bye!"

He finally hit the end button and huffed in exasperation while stating, "Sheesh! For the love of the Legendaries, what is my life coming to?", all while everyone in the classroom was still staring at him.

Which he took no notice of, especially Aizawa, who was standing in the open doorway and immediately turned around, not wanting to deal with whatever drama was going on so early in the morning.

Later

Hawks and Miriko: *Dyeing of laughter*

Gar: Did you two seriously invite me out for drinks just so you could laugh at me?! You guys are seriously the worst! I knew I should've gone drinking with Shota!

Meanwhile in an alternate timeline

Present Mic and Midnight: *Dyeing of laughter*

Gar: *sitting next to Aizawa* How and why are you friends with them?

Aizawa: *Chugging down Sake* They forced me.

Gar: *Also chugging down Sake* Poor you.

Team Freak Grunt: Uh, sir?

Bayo: Hmm?

Team Freak Grunt: *hands magazine* You'll never believe this.

Bayo: *takes the magazine and opened page 69* HOLY ARCEUS! *Falls off boss chair*

Bayo: Get me copies of this! I want copies!
