Well, it's finally here. I had a lot of trouble on deciding how to do this chapter. With the big meeting supposed to happen. I could not decide how to do things. Write the meetings as they happen or with flashbacks. Well, this is what I came up with. I hope you are all pleased with the way I went.

Eragon sat on the edge of the dragon hold with his feet hanging over the edge. He came up here to relax after a week of meetings between the races on how to proceed with the war and who would be responsible for what. It had not been easy, and it took the combine patience of all the riders to keep things calm at times. It had been worth it in the end. They had an agreement that will hopefully help keep a lot more people alive.

One of the items was ambassadors between all the groups. There had been an elven ambassador to the Varden for 70 years now but Arya had been the only ambassador. One of the agreements was that there would be ambassadors to and from each race so a better understanding and cooperation could happen. Choosing of the ambassadors would happen once the leaders return to their homes. Eragon had insisted that those chosen had to have no prejudice with working with other races if this was to work.

Another point was while there were a group of elves that would fight beside the Varden under Eragon's command. There were no Human or dwarf troops fighting alongside the Elves. It was decided that a small company of a mix of human and drawfs will join the elves. This would show that it was all the races working together to bring Galbatorix. It was also decided with the human soldiers fighting beside the elves it will help easy tensions in the human cities the elves free from Galbatorix's control. Ajihad had selected an elder member of the Varden to go. One that enjoyed speaking with the Elves and learn about them as he had the dwarfs. He was a firm believer in peace between the races. Queen Islanzadi had promised to assign guards to keep him safe.

Another Item had been the riders and who would fight with whom. Eragon had told them that once Brom return from his mission that he would join Oromis and fight beside the Elves. There were questions on Broms whereabouts, but Eragon said he was not sure. That he would not contact Eragon until it was safe to do so. Brom said he would contact Eragon once they were cleared of Teirm. Last report from Brom they were nearing Narda. They were going to see about hiring a transport to Teirm and contact Brom's friend Jeod. Once there they would see bout stealing a ship and heading south.

The last item that was discussed was what would happen after the war. That started a big debate with Orin who expected to be made king of all the human kingdoms. Orin believed his country was due it for all their support. It was soon pointed out that while Surda had indeed supported the Varden it was the dwarfs who gave the most support but they were not asking for more land. Eragon had finally pointed out that the humand lands were too big to manage by one king. Eragon had also informed them that he was expecting support from the Urals. From the brief talk Eragon had with Nar Garzhvog, it was clear that there would be some support from one clan. They would also want some land of their own. Which Eragon had pointed out would most likely the Spine where others didn't go. Eragon had taken a map and made suggestions of the cities that would become Surda and which were to still be the Empire under a new King. Orin would get all the cities he had in Eragons past life but Belatona. This would give both Kingdoms 4 ports each. When asked who the new king of the Empire would be, Eragon had suggested Ajihad, as he was the current leader of the Varden. In the end Orin was not happy but he agreed when all the others had easly agreed.

Eragon was brought out of his thoughts as another presents sat down beside him. He smelled fresh crush pine needles and knew it was Arya. He opened his eyes and looked at the elf.

"What brings you here? I thought you were saying your farewells to your mother." asked Eragon.

"I did. That was a hour ago. Since then I have been looking for you. What have you been doing that you lost track of time so easy" asked an amused Arya.

Eragon looked out over the inside of the mountain. "I was just thinking about the last week. There were a few times I was not sure we could get the agreements we needed. Even with what I knew from the other timeline and the individuals involved."

"Yea, especially when you said that you wanted to let the Urgals have their own land for their support." replied Arya.

Eragon sighed. "I knew there were those who would oppose that but if all the races are to get along, there need to be set boarders for each race. While the boarders for the Elves and Dwarfs are set the Human and the Urgal boarders were not. Now that we have established the boarders, and everyone has time to accept them. Hopefully it will make things easier once the war is won. Thank you for your support this last week. It means a lot."

"There is no need to thank me. I agree with what you are trying to do. Also youn are my friend first. No matter what the future brings." Arya answered while she also looked out over the view.

"Come on Eragon. It's late and we need our rest if we are going to start with the next step in freeing the lands." Arya said as she stood and held her hand out for Eragon.

Eragonn to Arya's hand and stood and the two headed to their room for the night. The easy part was done now it was time to start the fighting.

Murtagh headed to the dungeon. A guard had reported that a certain prisoner had refused food and water and was close to death. He was heading there now in an attempt to stop his mother from starving herself in hope of dying. When he reached the cell, he looked in and saw his mother near death. He ordered all the guards and the healer to leave. Once they all left he said a couple words in the ancient language to make it to where no one could hear what was said in the cell.

With everyone gone Murtagh approached his mother. "I told you I would be dead soon. I will not live like this anymore. Just know that I love you and your brother both very much. I just wish that I could have given both of you a happy life. I did try to free you and get you some place safe."

"So you would leave me again like you did before." asked an angerly Murtagh.

Selena looked at her son sadly. "If I could have taken you when I left, I would have. You were so hurt that if I tried to take you, you would have died. You nearly died as it was. I had hoped I could have gotten you out once you were healed and I had your brother and was healthy enough myself. I was sick after I had Eragon. I almost died, but a friend helped me get well enough to try to get you out but Galbatorix's agents found me and here I have sat."

"Part of me wants to help you escape part part blames you for me being here. If I let you die then I will be just as bad as Galbatorix, so I am going to help you. I will smuggle you out and to Teirm. There are Varden agents there that we know of that we can't do anything about because it would cause problems and we don't now how they make contact yet. So I will take you to one and hope he is who we believe." With that Murtagh left to make plans to help his mother.

They had made it. They were a couple miles north of Teirn. Brom, Garrow, Bridget and Gertrude who wanted to get herbs from a shop in the city were heading to the city. They made their way there, taking them a couple hours to arrive since there was no path to the city from the place the village was hiding.

When they arrived Brom lead them thru the city. They all notice the closer to the center the cleaner it was and bigger the houses. When they arrived Brom knocked on the door and a butler answered.

"Would you inform Jeob that a friend from Giliad is here to see him." Brom asked.

The man turned and a few minutes later Joed appeared. "Brom I thought you were dead?"

"No, not dead but hiding till it was time to return and the time as come. The item has hatched, and the winds are changing for the better but its best spoke in private." suggested Brom.

Jeod waved them in and was leading them to his office when his wife came down and started yelling at him for ruining the business.

When Jeob closed the door he apologized for his wife. "Sorry about that. I can't blame her. I promised her a better life. I send a ship out it disappears, try to deliver goods over land they also disappear. Along with the men. Now you are not here to hear about my problems. What brings you here old friend?"

Garrow speaks up. "No worries those that have been married to a fierce women have all faced that for one thing or another."

Brom speaks up before they get off the reason they are here. "WE need a ship big enough to transport a village to Surda. A while ago the village of Carvahall stood up when the Empire came recruiting. They had no choice as to flee. So we crossed the Spine with the help of so Urgals. We made it to Narda, but they only had barges at the moment, no ships."

"So you need a large ship that is well stocked. I know of a ship. The Dragon Wing. She has just been restocked for some reason. Rumer has it the King is about to launch a major attack. Most likely Surda or the possibly the Boar mountains to try to find the Varden. The problem is taking her and getting a crew. I know men that would be happy to set sail but no ship that goes out comes back and to steal one. The Empire will surely come after it. The Dragon Wing is big enough but there are ships faster that will be able to catch her." Jeob informed the group.

"It will not be a problem. If you get the men and I can pay them. We can provide the men to help them take the ship. As for any pursuit I'm sure Jara can handle any ship the Empire sends after us." Brom assures his friend.

"Jara, that sounds like a name of a dragon. Wasn't there a dragon of old named that?" asked Jeob.

A smiling Brom replied. "Once long ago it was a name of a famous dragon. There now lives a new dragon that bears the name proudly. I was given a chance at a new egg and it hatch for me. It was an unknown egg. The one we rescued has also hatched. For my son. We have also saved a second egg that has hatched. For the Queens daughter. Also, all the races have come together to bring the Oath Breaker to justice. All the Leaders have met in Farthen Dur for the first time in history. The hope is to work out an agreement between all the races."

A surprised Jeob broke out in a large smile and congratulated his friend. "I can't believe all that has happened as of late. Do you know how the meeting went yet?"

"No, once we leave the city and it is safe to do so I will contact Eragon. Once we reached Narda I didn't want to announce I could do magic and it's to dangerous to do it here incase Galbatorix's magicians sense me doing any spells. I don't know what wards place over the city are. It was a risk doing small spells to make sure we were not overheard. I don't want to take a chance of a strong spell."

"I'm just glad to see so much has happen. You all can stay here if you would like. It will take a few days to get everything arranged without the Empire finding out." Jeob informed the group.

"I will be staying Garrow, and the others will be leaving. Do you know why the shop next door is closed Gertrude was needing some herbs?" asked Brom.

"NO Angela and Solembum left a couple weeks ago. No idea where they went." Answered Jeob.

"You say Angela was the shop owner. If she is who I believe she is then she has probably left to join up with the Varden. She likes to be were things happen and two riders appearing among the Varden will peak her intrest." replied Brom.

After Jeob told the group heading back to the rest of the villagers Brom and Jeob talked privately for another hour. Jeob showed Brom where he could sleep before he left to start his task.

So, the red rider has finally been named though I will be disappointed if everyone didn't know who it was or who was in the cell. In the books it just said when Brom returned to Morzan's castle was that she was dead. It never said if they showed him proof or not, that I can remember. Not that it matters because this is fanfiction. The big meet done, Brom has meet up with Jeob and Murtagh is planning on freeing his mother. I will try to update better in the future, Hopefully I will be able to take my vacation soon and I can work on some of my stories.
