Prince Hidden in the Sands
Before you read, I'd like to say that the North is stronger and has a stronger hold and larger population and army than it did in Cannon. In Cannon, it could muster up to 40000 if it was given time, however, in this story its numbers are that of plus 60000. So kindly fuck off if you wanna be nitpicky.
Also, I want to make a few changes, the first is the ages of Jon and those born around his time, so Robb as well, is 15 instead of 12-13 like they originally were. I would change it in the chapter itself but all my docs for the story were deleted and the ones I had on Fanfic were gone. So if you want to, imagine either Robert Rebellion started earlier or the Others coming south later. The second is that I take back what I said about what the dragons in this story will look like, I don't remember which chapter but I stated that the dragons will be true dragons, as in four limbs and two wings. The dragons will be canon accurate, so four limbs, hind legs and the front ones being wings.
This chapter takes place days before the last Daenerys scene.

Storm's End
—
When the castle of the Storm Kings came into view, a pang of joy filled the Targaryen princess. Not only was it the thought of seeing her little brother, but also because ever since Rhaenys left on that horrid day, she had stepped foot on her home continent. So to her, seeing the lumbering walls of Storm's End, the eldest daughter was finally home.
"Uncle." She said with a whisper and Rhaenys didn't even have to look to know that the man was looking at her. "Has… has it always been this beautiful?" Finishing her question, the purple eyes looked at Oberyn and saw that he was looking at the castle with hatred in his black pools.
Rhae also noticed what the man was wearing, he was dressed ready for anything to happen. Chainmail, leather and steel protect his vitals and weak points. He also carried his spear, which was resting on his shoulder with the spear tip sheathed, but Rhaenys knew it wouldn't be for long.
"I wouldn't say it's beautiful, dear niece. However, knowing what I know," He looked at her mid-sentence and gave her a small smile: "This was probably a long time coming. Most of your current life has been within Braavos, and now seeing the lands of your birth before you, I wouldn't blame you if you believed it beautiful."
Rhaenys nodded at what her uncle told her and looked back to the castle, which continued growing bigger as they drew closer. As the Targaryen Princess continued looking, something caught her attention. In the slowly growing dark sky, a small white object appeared. However it didn't take long for realization to hit her, and it also came to this on the bridge of her shit.
Smiling Rhaenys couldn't help but laugh when she held Oberyn cuss. "Not afuckingnother one!" The Red Viper said as they all heard the incoming dragon roar, and as it grew closer she got a better look at the creature. Blood red eyes, pale scales, and a curved horned crown. Behind the princess came another roar, this one more familiar, as it came from her own bonded dragon. With a small gust of wind blowing down on them, they watched as Ellixia went and joined the pale dragon.
The dragons interacted, drawing everyone's attention even those on the castle walls from the movement of torches. Seeing them Rhae's smile faltered, remembering why they were heading to the fortress. 'When I enter those walls, I'll find my brother or a fake…' she said to herself as she never stopped looking at the walls. 'It has to be him… why would there be a dragon if it wasn't him.'
—
Time stopped when the grand doors opened to reveal the occupants inside, and immediately purple eyes looked at the person sitting on the throne. Upon seeing him her worries were for naught, the person Rhaenys thought could be fake wasn't, for before her was Aegon Targaryen her brother who looked so much like their father minus darker skin and hair dyed blue but it couldn't hide its true colour.
Rhae couldn't hold herself back, tears flowed from her eyes and her legs moved on their own, bringing her closer and closer to the brother she thought was lost. However, she wasn't alone for the two Targaryen-Martell siblings met in the middle, embracing with her head on his shoulder and his chin on her head.
The Princess didn't know nor cared how much time went by as she embraced her little brother and when the hug was broken Rhaenys found his purple eyes looking in her pools of deep purple. "Rhae…." Aegon said quietly, and she felt and saw him place a rough and used hand on her cheek. "I… I never thought this moment would come. I knew that if I'd survive, you might have as well."
When he finished she watched as his tears grew in numbers, and the older sister in Rhaenys knew what she had to do. So placing a hand on the back of Aegon's head, she pulled it to lay on her shoulder. "It's okay Aegon," Rhae said softly as she also cried with joy. "We were both placed in difficult situations and after that night we needed each other. So I'm sorry I wasn't able to come to you sooner."
The two Targaryen siblings once again found peace in silence and in each other's arms, ignoring the tension of the others inside the hall with them. Specifically, their uncle held his spear in a tight grip as he stared at the man to the right of the throne.
The warm embrace was once more broken, this time by Rhaenys who pushed her brother away. "Now, I must ask after seeing him. What's the name of your pale scaled friend?" She asked, and because of her wording, Aegon chuckled, which brought warmth to her soul. "I would also like to tell you that the name of my scaly friend is Elixia, I named her after our late mother/"
Aegon nodded at her words and chuckled again. "You have a sense of humour dear sister, and honestly I cherish it." He said as he backed away and made for the storm throne, and Rhae followed with her family soon after. "My bonded dragon is named Palefyre. I wanted to name him after our father, but honestly, when I saw him, it was the only name that came to mind at that moment."
She nodded, thinking that two of the dragons being named after their parents would have been a wonderful idea. But it was for naught, with all the bonded dragons being named and leaving them with one aggressive and wild dragon, they couldn't name it after a man who was loved by almost all. After thinking about it, she finally noticed that Aegon wasn't looking at her anymore, but instead at the group of a single man with a group of armed and armoured women.
"Uncle, cousins, it's so nice to see you all again. Jon has told me about you and your Snakes, but most of all the rumours of the Red Viper run thick in the Golden Company." The prince said as he smiled at them, and Rhae followed his eyes to the group of snakes with a singular she-wolf among them and said wolf was wearing a look of annoyance. "But I don't remember hearing you having a Sand Snake with Northern blood?"
Hearing that made Rhaenys audibly groan which confused her little brother, but it seems that was also the moment when Dyanna made her annoyance known. "I am not a Sand Snake, 'Your Grace', but a bastard to another Lord, a man more honourable and worthy than this man whore." The girl finished with a smug look in her amethyst eyes. Rhae couldn't help but chuckle when she saw Oberyn's Martell's eye twitch while his true bastards chuckled and to top it all off Arianne's unladylike snort. "My name is Princess Dyanna Stark, First Princess of the North, the Fifth to Winter Throne, the Bastard of Stark, the Terror of Trouts, and the Beauty of Winterfell." Immediately upon those words leaving her mouth howls could be heard from the Shipbreaker bay, and it wasn't alone for Rhaenys could see the Golden Company soldiers reach for their swords. "I am the daughter of Queen Ashara Stark and Winter King Eddard Stark, and to me 'Your Grace', you are no True King, you are a pretender to the Iron Throne. The True King is King Daemon Targaryen-Stark, First of his Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoyar and the First Men, Lord of the Six Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, Wielder of both Blackfyre and Dark Sister and the Bringer of Dragons."
With that the two dragons outside roared, a roar that sounded too loud for their age or size, but also one that sent shivers down their spines, at how much the dragons believed the Stark Princess. Silence reigned in the great hall until it was broken by the sound of unsheathing swords. Rhaenys placed her head into her hands, having honestly expected the Dyanna to say that in the presence of everyone, and when her purple eyes looked to the owner of amethyst pools looking as if she was smugger than she was before but also proud that she got to give Dae those titles.
"YOU DARE BRING AN ENEMY OF HIS GRACE INTO THESE HALLS." The man to the right of the Storm Throne shouted out as he stepped to stand between Aegon and them. "You traitors, I should have known you wished to betray us! See your Grace, this is what happens when you allow your emotions to control your actions!" Jon Connington continued with rage, and anger and deep inside his words Rhae could hear joy. "Guards! Kill them where they stand!"
The guards started walking towards the small group of four, making the Red Viper loosen his grip and stand with his weapon of choice at the ready, while the two Sand Snakes drew their weapons, Nymeria taking out a duo of daggers and Tyene taking our darts so sharp and poisonous that they twinkled from the little light bounce off of it showing clear liquid that could kill full grown elephants, and to no one's surprise had a tit pop out when she withdrew them.
However they weren't the only ones, for to the Targaryen Princess' shock and surprise, Arianne also pulled out a dagger from under her dress. But what truly struck out as weird was the sword that was in the hands of the woman who started this whole farce. It was a bastard sword, ironic enough, with the pommel of a wolf and a guard that ended both with shorting stars. But what was truly fascinating was the bluish shine coming from its blade, a beauty that could rival Valyrian steel, and to Rhaenys amazement, Dyanna made it look like it was as light as a feather.
The Targaryen princess however found herself in the direct middle of her group, all of them standing in between the weapons of the Golden Company and herself. Purple Eyes went to find her brother's matching pool but found that his face was hiding behind the shadows of his shoulder-length blue-dyed hair. After seeing this Rhaenys went to speak, hoping to bring Aegon back from whatever it was he was doing.
However, before she could the guards stopped at a single action and movement, that being the raised hand of the young man sitting on the throne. "Sheathe your weapons you fucking idiots." He finally spoke, and when he did it was filled with command and coldness, but just as she did earlier she felt something else, but this time Rhaenys felt betrayal inside his voice. "There will be no killing in these halls, while we claim it. Not only will it lead to a mess, but also I promised to return this castle without a single drop of blood in its walls."
"Your Grace!" Jon Connington shouted again, but this time his voice was that of irritation and anger, and Rhaenys and her party watched as he turned around to the Targaryen Prince. "I have been a faithful and loyal servant for years, and now that we've begun retaking what was rightfully yours, you've done nothing but take my words with a grain of salt!"
Everyone in the hall could tell that the aged lord wasn't happy and it was proven by the man's moment, rapid breathing, shaking hands and most of all the rage red face. They also knew that the son of Rhaegar and Elia was going to take it sitting down, as at that time the hair that once hid Aegon's face was gone, and as the Prince stood before his hand.
"I will not deny that my Lord Hand, you have been a loyal and faithful man to me. You've protected and been there for me since I could remember, and most of all you are the reason why I'm currently the leading commander of the Golden Company." Rhaenys watched as her brother continued speaking, and when he did she felt a pang of hurt in her heart. "I've been in many battles and conquered castles of essos since I was but seven name days, I've fought men triple my size and won. And the only reason that was possible was because of your teachings."
Aegon placed a hand on the shoulder of the man who raised him and gave a small smile. "And for that, I'll always respect and love you." After saying those words his smile vanished and in its place was a frown of annoyance. "But since we've made landfall, you've made your desire for revenge obvious to the point where you'd sully my reputation and name. You want people to fear me and hate me, maybe to the point where they will one day think of me as my grandsire." Removing his hand from Jon's shoulder he grabbed the silver necklace from around his neck and removed it. "But I am not the Mad King nor will I make people feel as if I'm here to bring Fire and Blood. And because of this, I strip you of your title as hand and command you to return to your home."
He then watched as his father figure's eyes lost their spark, and as face and body went to that of cold and stone. Lord Connington backed up and bowed. "As you wish My King. If you need my counsel or support, I am a raven away." With that, the man left the Halls of the Storm Kings and its descendants. Silence reigned over the hall, and during it, the guards returned to where they once stood and as their guests sheathed their weapons.
Aegon sat down and watched as the tension in the room dropped, everyone being at ease once the Griffin left the great hall. "Princess, I didn't mean any disrespect, but what Lord Connington said was true. Your father betrayed his king and helped in destroying 280 years of Targaryen rule." He said and watched as the Stark Princess nodded. "However, if I were to be honest, King Eddard had all the right to rebel and to kill my family where they stood. My Grandsire was mad and his madness led to the burning of two loyal and noble men by wildfire, a death I wish to never see during the coming years."
His words shocked those in the room, even the Martell's and his older sister. But the person who held his attention the most was the Princess of the Northern Kingdom. Aegon watched as Dyanna gave him a small glare that lasted a few seconds but when it left the beauty smiled. "It seems I was wrong about you Prince Aegon. However, even with your words I still don't see you as the rightful king of the Iron Throne."
The Targaryen Prince nodded as he leaned on his hand that's elbow resting on the Storm Throne armrest. "I didn't expect it would, Princess. Now while we are here, tell me about this little brother I have. A few days ago a group of Lords visited us making praises of him. But to add to my shock, my family on my mother's side has also aligned with him, and from the letter Uncle Doran has written to me, that Princess Arianne is also betrothed to him. So tell me, who and what is Daemon Targaryen?"
Rhaenys couldn't help but smile when she heard what her blood brother said, happy to see that he was still sane of mind and curious about their half-brother. Stepping forward she began with a simple statement. "Before we begin telling you about Dae, why don't we have dinner while we talk?" Gesturing to the people behind her but also to the ships that were at bay. "We've been at sea for a while and trust me, we all need some real food in us. I would also like to bring some of the armed forces we brought with us to come onto land, to not only add onto your numbers here but to also bluster our army when the possibility of a fight is to come."
Purple pools looked into each other and the older of the two watched as Aegon nodded as he stood up. "Of course, I'll have a messenger sent out to the fleet to welcome them. But I must apologize but we currently do not have room for them in the barracks. However, they are welcome to set up camp outside of the walls." He finished and nodded to one of the Golden Company men close by, who bowed with a nod and left.
As the young prince left, Rhaenys followed shortly after, and soon after the Red Viper and company, 'Soon, soon the children of Prince Rhaegar will be together.' She said to herself as the image of both Aegon and Daemon feeding the dragons entered her mind. 'What life would have been if Father never decided to be so stupid.'

Westeros
—
The Kingdom of the North's conquest South was going smoothly as one would expect, with its army being split into four forces while the rest stayed back to protect the North and its people. The first force, the main force whose numbers added up to around 25000, was led by the Winter King himself, who was laying siege to the capital of the Riverlands, Riverrun. The second force, one that stood 27000 strong and led by Prince Robb Stark, Heir to the Winter Throne, and Greatjon Umber as his advisor and second, was marching into the Westerlands where they would begin the hardest part of the conquest.
The other two forces both had enough men for their missions and goals. Those being to take the Iron Islands which was led by Marlon Manderly, cousin to the Lord of White Harbour, and the other was led by Lord Benjen Stark, whose mission was to meet Lords Tytos Blackwood, Jason Mallister, Jonos Bracken, and any other lord or lady willing to talk peace or join them. The rest of the northern men and warriors were stationed to keep their Kingdom safe, with Lord Roose Bolton as castellan of Winterfell and the commander of the remaining soldiers in the North.
All the marching armies met resistance but all were not as important as what the Heir to the Winter Throne will meet as he heads into the Westerlands. The Kingdom of the Rock has been preparing for such a battle against the North since the Greyjoy Rebellion, where they saw the might of the North when they took Pyke and as the then Lord Stark killed the rebelling lord, and left shortly after King Robert Baratheon named Balon's eldest son lord.
But even though the Winter King knew that front would be the hardest to deal with, he believed his Heir to be successful and would bring home a victory. The whole of the North believed in their future king. Thankfully though, the Prince wouldn't be alone for the Tyrells and those houses loyal to Wardens of the South would be helping from attacking from the south, splitting the Westerlanders forces into two fronts. However, their presence wasn't a guarantee for they were already struggling with their own problems. Some of the Lords of the Reach weren't happy with the ceasefire and were even upset when their Warden made a peace deal with the North and allied themselves with the Kingdom.
However, to top things all off the King has returned to King's Landing where he could be found drinking and whoring his life away, while his new hand Lord Tywin Lannister led the majority of the King's forces to retake Storm's End from the Pretender. Where they've already met the Dornish Army, where both sides took losses and casualties, but the one who came out victorious was the Dornish. Their goal was simply to slow down the Lion and his forces until King Daemon came back from Sunspear.
To say that Westeros was already headed over the cliff with internal strife was an understatement. With the Winter King's forces moving in from the south, and their fleet constantly advancing and stopping because of Lord Stannis Baratheon and the Royal Navy. The Reach with their already growing rebellion in their midst and their desire to help the North in the Westerlands. Storm's End being the home of the Golden Company and Aegon VI Targaryen, with the backing of the Lords of the Stormlands and the Dornish army. The only kingdom that hadn't made a move was the Vale, and with their Lord Arryn's return, they were already in the middle of slowly building civil war. One side wanted to side with the crown and help stop the invading forces from the North, while the other half wanted to help their fellow First Men.
Only the Gods could tell what would happen to the continent of Kingdoms, and only they knew what the future would bring.

Riverrun
—
It was a little over midday when the gates to Riverrun opened and when the North saw this sign, they attacked in full force with Winter King Eddard Stark leading the cavalry charge with his house's valyrian steel sword in hand and direwolf sprinting ahead. Following behind the leading cavalry were the foot soldiers who finished off those who lived, and they were led by Lord Karstark, who entered the Tully castle with a loud laugh and a direwolf of his own.
It didn't take long for a blooded King Eddard Stark to enter the walls of his late wife's home atop his trusted war horse and his direwolf following suit. Stark eyes looked at the surrounding blood, guts and dead bodies were littered everywhere. It pained Ned to see the sight but he started this war and he will end it. Jumping off his black-coated horse, Ned watched as prisoners were led out the gate behind and as his distant cousin Lord Rickard Karstark and his men brought to him three very familiar faces.
The first was the aged and old Lord of Riverrun, who to his surprise was in the middle of putting on some armour before he was taken away. To Hoster's right was Edmure, who was covered in blood, Northmen's blood, Ned wasn't certain but what he did know was that the man was staring at the ground with what he could only imagine were tears. But his sole focus was on the sole female of the three, Lady Catelyn Tully, his former wife and the Lady of Riverrun.
The woman glared at Ned as he squatted down in front of her. "I believe you're going to know what I'm going to ask Lady Tully, but I'll ask anyway. Where is my daughter Sansa?" He said as his grey eyes stared into her furious blue. Instead of an answer the former lord found spit on his face from his former wife. Wiping off the human saliva, he stood to his full height and nodded to the lord behind his prisoners.
Without hesitation, Lord Karstark did what he had to, and soon Ned's face had the blood of the aged lord splattered on the left side of his face, and immediately Catelyn started screaming as she watched her father fall to the blood-soaked dirt dead and the Winter King saw that she was hit with blood splatter. "I'll ask again, and if you try and act smart again you'll find you are another family member short." He said as he looked down at the whipping lady. "Where is my daughter Lady Tully?"
She glared at him with fresh and continuous tears, but he didn't back down and when it felt like she wasn't going to answer, Ned raised a hand which gave Rickard a sign. The Karstark Lord pushed the new Riverrun Lord to the ground and held his sword to Edmure's throat, which got the reaction Eddard was looking for. "I sent Sansa to Casterly Rock! She's at Casterly Rock! I swear it, I knew this was coming and planned ahead of time and sent her there!" Catelyn screamed out as tears continued to fall from her eyes. "Now please leave my brother alone!" Hearing what he just heard, filled the Winter King with anger, and everyone saw his silver eyes flash gold.
Upon receiving what he wanted Ned turned around to leave, it seems he'll be going to join Robb and take the Westerlands. As he walked back to his war horse, a commotion caught his attention, and when he looked he found the Blackfish leaving an enclave as he fought back a few Northmen. The commotion only grew more intense as the Tully was being surrounded, but it also became a nuisance to his campaign.
Looking away from the sight, he kicked his horse and with a simple command Fenrir was off. "Fenrir, feast." Without looking, Ned heard the yells of the Blackfish and the few Northmen who moved out of the horse-sized direwolf's way. Then silence, a silence that was broken by the sobbing of his former wife.
Slowly but surely all the Northmen left leaving only the broken family and a handful of guards, who bore no arms or weapons to protect themselves and their liege. This was only the first great victory the Winter King would have, as he and his army moved southwest, he passed by a group of Yitish men and without looking he said a sentence that would end the history of House Tully and its castle.
"Destroy it, and leave nothing left but rumble."

Wyndhall
—
Prince Robb Stark's first victory in his father's war was outside the walls of House Estern's ancestral castle. The battle cost the lives of a little over a dozen Northmen but cost House Estern its heir and Lord, both having fallen to Robb's sword. Now they were drinking and enjoying the rewards of their victory. The house and its home weren't strong, it was one of the smallest of Lordly Houses in the region, but even then they celebrated their Prince's first battle and victory.
However, as Robb sat on the Lord's chair, with slightly pink cheeks, his Tully blue eyes were staring at one particular spot, well person to be exact. That being Dacey Mormont, who was sitting with her mother and feasting at one of the tables below. As he looked and admired her fierce beauty the words his future wife came to mind. Since Lady Margaery said those words, the thought of not only marrying her but also Dacey and Alys, has filled his mind.
He indeed fancied both Northern Ladies, not only because of their beauty, and northern traits but also because of his Father's desire to grow closer to his bannermen. So during his youth, he found himself in the company of the two and the Karstark boys. As he grew older into his teens he noticed that his heart heated faster around them, and as he started to take notice of them more. Their beauty, the personality they had, and mostly how they acted around him.
"My Prince." Robb heard a bass rumble of a voice to his right, and when he looked he found his second looking at him with a smirk. "If you want to bed the Mormont girl, do it." The Greatjon said and immediately his face turned pinker than it already was. "HA! You can't hide love from a man who already loved someone, my boy."
The giant of a man smacked his hand on Robb's back, making the smaller younger man groan each time. His eyes went back to the woman on topic and found her eyes looking up to the table. It was also then that the Prince noticed the whole hall was looking at them, which made his face go scarlet as he realized that his adviser had said it out loud. However, it didn't take long for the Northmen and women to go back to what they were doing.
However as Robb went to finish his ale, he noticed Dacey smiling at him before returning to whatever she was doing prior. Getting up he placed his empty horn of ale on the table and patted Greatjon on the shoulder, who nodded and went back to drinking. Leaving the feast, Robb made for his tent with a wobble in his steps, and every servant or guard he passed bowed or nodded to him. He wasn't used to this but he'll have to grow used to it, like he has gotten used to the heat of the south.
Walking into the fresh air, Robb took a deep breath in and continued, more bows, nods and even some cheers from the few who decided to feast outside. It didn't take long after that until he reached his tent, and upon entering he began removing his armour. Slowly but steadily, the pieces were removed and placed on the armour stand in the tent, and once removed Robb looked into a mirror and saw the damage he took. No, he wasn't injured or anything but he was bruised and it showed in the forms of red and black/brown marks littered all over his chest.
Laying down on his bed, he groaned and released a relaxed sigh as his body was engulfed in the comfort and warmth of his bed. Robb didn't fight the desire to sleep as he closed his eyes and welcomed the embrace of slumber. However, before he could truly sleep he was interrupted by a knock and movement outside his tent. Whoever it was decided to enter anyway and as the Stark Prince sat up and opened to see who it was, he was stopped when he saw the tall beauty of Dacey Mormont standing in his tent.
"Your Grace," Dacey said as she bowed. Even then the Mormont girl never removed her eyes from him or his torso. "A message arrived to give you a message from His Grace the King." Robb nodded but remained dumbfounded as to why the person who had claimed his mind was in his tent.
Taking the scroll he finally removed his blue eyes from her figure and opened it to see what his father had to say. As he read he didn't see the shuffling of other occupant, and as she moved to sit on the other side of his bed. Finishing the letter, a sadness entered him at the thought of his mother's home being destroyed. Yes, he never got to know Lady Catelyn Tully cause his parents' marriage ended before he could remember anything. So in Robb Stark's eyes, Ashara Stark has been more of a mother to him than his birth mother, but even then his soul ached when was given news of her home being destroyed.
Tossing the scroll onto his bedside table, the Stark Prince looked to the person who gave it to him but stopped when he saw what she was wearing. There on the other side of his bed was Dacey Mormont wearing nothing but her birthday suit, revealing to him everything that he could only dream about.
"I do not know what the contents of that letter says, my prince. However what I do know is that you fancy me, and I'll be blunt and say that I have the same thoughts about you. Even with our year gaps, I've fancied you." She said as she leaned forward until she was a breath away from him, "Now with the approval from my mother and the confirmation that happened in the hall… I would like to go further in our friendship." As she finished the Stark boy couldn't help but lean forward until their lips were locked.
At that moment, sleep escaped from Prince Robb Stark, as both direwolf and bear spent the night together, and in the distance, the sound of Grey-Wind's howl could be heard, but to the future Winter King, he heard none of it. For tonight was a night of victory and pleasure.

King's Landing
—
Barrristan Selmy's mind was elsewhere, and the reason for this was because of the man before him, Ser Jaime Lannister. Since what King Eddard Stark said at Moat Cailin about his fellow brother, his mind was elsewhere, and now with Jaime before him wearing simple clothes of nobleborns, with his Kingsguard armor and sword on the desk, his confusion only grew.
"I wish to quit Lord Commander." The knight said as he stepped away from his desk. "I know I've made a vow for life to protect and serve as a member of the Kingsguard, however, I cannot stay." Pale blue looked into emerald greens, and all the Lord Commander could see in those once smug proud eyes, was sorrow and sadness. "I… I do not want to stay here, and both you and I know that if I go to his Grace, he'll never allow me to leave. For I am one of his greatest servants and his poster boy."
The aged man didn't remove his eyes from the Kingslayer and even now he didn't understand the Winter King's words, 'You are no Oathbreaker.' He remembered clearly as if it was yesterday. 'What do you mean Eddard Stark?' He asked himself and after a few minutes, he decided to be blunt, but not here definitely not here. Getting to his feet Barristan grabbed his sword and attached it to his belt. "Let's go for a walk Ser Jaime."
Without looking back the two knights left White Sword Tower, but even when they walked the halls of the Red Keep he heard the small pitter patters of the spies and 'birds' behind the walls. The Lord Commander never loved the Red Keep, even when he was a young man in his early years of being in the Kingsguard he hated the castle. Spies, rats, and the silence, anything one could name he hated about the Red Keep. However, in such a place he has found solace and peace, even in recent years when he wasn't guarding the King and his family.
Finally reaching his destination Barristan looked back to the younger knight, who was looking around their surroundings. "Do you know what this place is, Ser Jaime? You should know for you've been a part of our esteemed brotherhood when this Keep was still flying the banners of the dragons." He asked out loud, and yes he knew it was a stupid question, cause he wasn't the only one who found peace here.
"Of course Lord Commander." The young knight responded as he looked back to him, and for the first time since before the North's Uprising Jaime's eyes seemed at peace. "We're in the Godswood of the Red Keep… a pitiful Godswood at that but still." The two walked further into the large forested area until they found themselves standing before the so-called Weirwood tree. "I… I've never expected to find peace here but these recent years, I've found myself enjoying the peace and harmony of this place."
"Aye," Barristan said as the Kingslayer finished. "You aren't the only one Ser Jaime." He said plainly as he turned around to face the young man. "I'll be blunt with you boy, and say I brought you here to confess and explain what King Stark said while you two had your chat." Placing his hand on his pommel he looked into the young knight's eyes again and saw the emotions swimming in them. "'Not a Oathbreaker' he said, but in my eyes, you broke your oath and the only reason why you are alive is because of his Grace the King seeing what you did as a just did."
Once again wise pale blue eyes looked into young emerald pools and as he looked into them, he saw confidence steeled itself. "So tell me before the Old Gods, the Gods neither of us follow, what he meant and what happened prior to Robert's Rebellion."
Barristan watched as Jaime nodded but before he answered the young knight chuckled, allowing the first smile to dawn on his young face in a long time. "I find myself thinking I might convert to the Old Gods Ser Barristan the longer I live." At that he let out a small laugh, also agreeing with his fellow knight's words. "Just as you were with me, I'll be blunt and straight to the point Lord Commander, and if you want confirmation on what I will say, send a raven to Ser Arthur Dayne wherever he may be." The aged man nodded to his words, remembering to send a raven when it was done and as an appreciation for getting to the point.
"Before Prince Rhaegar left for the trident I was summoned to his quarters, where not only was the prince there but also your predecessor and the Sword of the Morning. During the chat, I was ordered by His Grace and Lord Commander Gerold that if King's Landing were to fall, they ordered me to kill King Aerys." Came the response the aged knight wanted and when he took it in, he understood it all. "I might be a Kingslayer and honestly I'm proud of it, and I'd do it again if I could, 'cause what that man did…."
Silence took hold of the Godswood and Barristan watched as the young man went to his knees of having to be reminded of what he saw during his time as King Aerys guard. He misunderstood the knight, he didn't kill the mad king because of his father nor did he do it for the sake of doing it. Jaime Lannister did it because he was ordered to and cause he had to for the sake of the Seven Kingdoms.
Getting down onto one knee the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard placed a hand on the young knight's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Ser Jaime Lannister," he said clearly and watched as the man looked at him. "I, Ser Barristan Selmy, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. relieve you of your duties, you may pack your things and leave. You are now the first ever Brother to be relieved of his duties, and honestly, you shouldn't be proud of it, but what you've done for us, the whole of King's Landing and all of Westeros, is enough to pay for your service."
The two knights stayed in silence until the younger nodded and climbed to his feet and helped his former Lord Commander up. "Thank you, Lord Commander," Jaime said as they were both standing, and the Bold watched as the former Kingsguard held out his hand. "It has been a pleasure working under you and I hope that when we meet again it will be during better times Ser Barristan."
Taking the offered hand he gave a nod and smiled. "Likewise, and I am truly sorry that I only saw you for what you did and not what you did it for." The aged and wise knight said and watched as the Young Lion waved it away, "And may I suggest you get going? When the King learns of your dismissal his mood will only get worse and the same with the Queen."
The young man's face turned to that of seriousness, as he nodded. "I will be gone by the hour, Lord Commander, and I wish you the best of luck in the coming times." With that Barristan watched as the man turned around and left the Godswood.
He was now the last knight of the Order of the Kingsguard that truly stood for its true meaning, and as the Lannister left he looked to the brown oak tree behind him. It truly was a disgrace that this was the tree that represented the Old Gods in the Red Keep. Placing a hand onto the bark he gave a small prayer in hopes that peace would once again find itself in Westeros and afterwards he returned to the White Sword Tower.

Storm's End
—
The two dragons of old both Vermithor and Silverwing, and their rides Daemon Targaryen and Shiera Seastar respectively, slowly watched as the home and castle of the Storm Kings grew closer by the second. Tent's carrying the banners of not only the Golden Company but also the Houses Targaryen and Martell with others all of whom belonged to the Lords of the Stormlands. Daemon felt his nerves growing by the second as the Bronze Fury brought him closer.
In those walls was someone proclaiming to be his older brother, and from the silence and the fact that the Golden Company's banner still stands, it means Oberyn and Rhaenys saw him true. So to Daemon, it was a relief, knowing not only was his older brother still living and breathing but just as he began with their sister, memories could be made. However, the knowledge and presence that Aegon lives and breathes also lifted a weight off his shoulders. With his father's firstborn son alive he needed not carry the title of king no more.
The Stark-Targaryen Prince was taken from his thoughts when he heard a pair of roars coming towards him and the witch. Daemon looked to the source and found his first dragon, Veraxes flying towards him and with Elixia shortly behind. However what truly struck him was that on top of the female dragon was Rhaenys, who was showing visible signs of struggling. He chuckled as Vermithor came to a stop with Silverwing and her ride stopping a dozen or so feet away.
He watched as the two came closer and as they did he let out a small chuckle at seeing how small they were to Vermithor. "Sister," he called out as she and Elixia grew closer, enough so that it wasn't annoying the Bronze Fury but enough to let the enormous dragon release a grumble to signify his displeasure. "What news do you bring me?"
Daemon then watched as the young bronze/amber-coloured dragon came to a clunky stop, and honestly, he felt bad for the small thing. Not even a moon into its young life and already she was large enough to take a dragonrider but its youth hindered both knowledge and ability to hold one long enough. Thankfully for him, he now has no need to burden Veraxes with carrying him, even if he was the largest of their three newborn dragons. Thinking of his gray and blue bonded, made him look to where the dragon was, and Daemon found him getting attention and affection from both Silverwing and Shiera.
"Well to start," the voice of Rhaenys brought his amethyst eyes to her, she was still struggling with staying still. "How about we find a way so I can actually talk to you, cause Vermithor's wings are making it hard to stay still and I don't think Elixia can take it anymore." Her purple Targaryen eyes looked at him, and the Prince saw the desperation in them.
Before he could say anything he looked forward and found massive bronze eyes staring back at him, and after a few seconds the dragon released another powerful rumble. Daemon gave a small smile to his bonded and ran a hand along his scales. "Kirimvose Vermithor." He said in perfect valyrian, which got a response of a shake of the dragon's head and a lighter grumble from the Bronze Fury.
Looking back to the Targaryen Princess he motioned with his head to get on, and with hitched breaths the Stark-Targaryen Prince as the small dragon moved closer, avoiding the massive tan wings, until it placed its hind legs onto the back of Vermithor. Even Shiera watched with her mismatched eyes, hoping that the alpha dragon wouldn't see it as a threat, for everyone knew that if Vermithor wanted to, he could kill everyone around him within seconds.
Everyone went still as a loud angry rumble came from the enormous beast, and all of them felt their bodies shiver. "Gīda Vermithor gīda." The dragon's bond said, once again running a hand along the dragon's massive bronze scales. Daemon looked back at his sister and found her making his way over to the saddle, and he watched Elixia dive down towards the land.
Once Rhaenys was on the saddle and sitting her arms went around his waist and immediately he felt her bosom pushing up against his back, which made the prince's cheeks pink at the feeling. Ever since the princess arrived at Norvos, she started wearing more dresses than before and with the tonic and trousers gone, so did the breast bindings. Shaking his head Daemon fought back all the emotions that tried to take hold and succeeded as the warmth of his cheeks vanished.
"Now that we've settled down," he spoke up and looked to his sister from his peripheral vision. "What news do you bring me, Sister?"
She nodded as her hold loosened on him, "Right. Well first off Aegon is truly our brother, Oberyn, Arthur and Oswald have confirmed it." The prince nodded his head, happy to hear that, happy to know it wasn't a lie. "And Arthur is waiting on the ground with what you asked for, both Blackfyre and the Conqueror's crown."
Again Daemon nodded, and once everything was confirmed he continued their ride to Storm's End, with Vermithor diving towards the ground. Immediately upon the dragon's movement Rhaenys' strengthened and the feeling of her breasts on his back returned. However, that didn't bother the Stark-Targaryen Prince, for when he rode upon the Bronze Fury, only peace and joy-filled him, allowing him to be undisturbed about what was going around him. Silverwing and the Sea of Stars followed shortly after, and so did Veraxes but the young dragon failed at staying close falling behind the two dragons of old.
—
Aegon waited and waited and waited, and truth be told was that his patience was running thin, but even then the leader of the Golden Company sat on the Storm Throne with his chin on his fist. His mind wandered to the person he was about to meet and honestly, he had a hard time believing it, but he still took his sister's, Oberyn's and Arthur's word for it.
What he knew about Daemon Targaryen prior to the recent hours was what Jon Connington told him. That he is the bastard son of his father and Lyanna Stark, who thirsts for power and control. However, because of the recent events, his Uncle Doran's letter, what the Lords brought to him, and how his former Hand acted, Aegon decided to open his mind to his half-brother, bastard or not, Daemon was still his and Rhaenys sibling.
What he learned today was that not only was Daemon Targaryen legitimate in the Old Ways, beneath a Weirwood Tree with his mother, Ser Arthur and others as witnesses. Aegon was also told that Daemon was gifted by their father with not only three dragons all of which hatched, but also Blackfyre and the Conqueror's Crown which both have gone missing with Bittersteel and Daeron I likewise. If the Targaryen boy were to be honest, he was jealous when he was told this, Prince Rhaegar gifted two of the greatest items to the son he'd never known or met. He, however, didn't allow that to fester hatred or dislike for his unknown brother.
But what Aegon truly found interesting was that his younger brother didn't wish for the throne like he or the Ususpers and his lions did, especially when he already had everything the First King of Westeros had, and if Aegon were to believe what he heard and saw minutes ago, Daemon even had two dragons of old, Vermithor and Silverwing who's rider was loyal to him and him alone. The only reason why he was an official candidate for the throne was because people pushed his sibling to take it. So in all honesty the truth was that his little brother was deserving of the throne and title, more than himself or the Beggar King who was killed in his sleep a fortnight ago.
A small smile grew on his young face as he thought of a bet and a plan that would stop it. "Ser Oswald." He called out the Kingsguard in the hall with him and the other guards. "I would like to make a bet with you," he continued when the man's eyes landed on him. "My brother will enter these halls and kneel and claim me the rightful King and all those stupid titles that came with it. He'll also offer Blackfyre and Aegon I crown when he arrives."
Immediately he watched as a small smirk grew on the knight's face, as he saw through what he was saying. "Aye, even though I want him as my King, I'll make the bet, and let's say 5 gold for whoever wins." Aegon watched as Oswald looked at the other men standing in the hall. "Would any of you like to join in on this game? If so, raise your left hand if you side with his Grace or your right if you're with me."
Aegon felt his body grow with excitement as he watched the Golden Company men raise either of their hands and as chuckles filled the hall as small banters and jests were thrown about. However, it all came to a stop with the ground beneath them shook and as loud roars were sounded out. Acting quickly, the Targaryen Prince spoke again but with a voice of amusement and seriousness. "Also Ser Harry, fetch the Stormlords and tell them to come to these halls. Quickly if you can, this must be done before my brother arrives in these halls, and if you can hold Daemon off, I need to prepare something before he arrives."A quick nod from the Captain-General and he was gone with the knight squire leaving to help.
The hall was once again filled with the cold silence, but it wasn't for long for outside the walls the sounds of talking grew, but thankfully the firsts to enter were the lords of the Stormlands with their bannermen. Lord Renly came to the front, and Aegon saw the fear in them either from the two dragons outside or because the man was worried about what he planned to do. "You summoned us, your Grace." He said bowing, and the prince watched as Rhaenys was the last to enter.
"I did Lord Renly." He motioned for the man to stand, and continued. "I have questions for you and your lords." Aegon stood up and walked to stand at the same level as the Lords in the hall, with Oswald standing three steps behind him to his right. "You all have sworn and bowed to me, correct?" Receiving nods from all the Stormlords he smiled and said. "Good."
With that, he turned back and sat down on the Storm Throne, and saw the confusion in their eyes as they all began to mutter in whispers. Slowly his sister made her way towards him, and he chuckled when he saw her tangled and untied hair from the dragon ride and her clothes were a mess with a good portion of cleavage showing, making some of the lords look at her with needy eyes. Thankfully her chastity was saved as she stepped to stand beside him and as Ser Oswald moved to stand between Rhaenys and those lords.
"Before you ask me anything sister, I suggest fixing yourself up. You have given some of the lords quite a view." Aegon said before she could speak, and he watched as she looked down at herself with a growing blush.
Quickly fixing herself up, he once again looked forward and watched as his lords talked. "Thank you." The princess said when she was done, to the disappointment of some of the wanting lords. "What are you planning? When I left, you were only with the guards and the Bat. So what are you planning, Aegon?"
His purple eyes looked to her with a raised lip and said. "You will see dear sister, you will see." Seeing the annoyed look on the eldest Targaryen sibling's face, Aegon looked back to the crowd and the doors, and no sooner did they open. Walking into the great hall of Storm's End were the Dornish Lords sent by his uncle and at the front was Ser Arthur Dayne, Oberyn Martell, a beauty of unspeakable beauty and lastly Daemon Targaryen.
A grin appeared on his face as his brother came closer, and in his hands was a sheathed sword and in the other a crown that was once lost. Aegon looked to the Kingsguard below him and saw the man move, indicating a laugh and a nod in acceptance of a lost bet. Returning his gave to his brother, he watched as the Stormlords moved aside and Aegon noticed in their faces a glimpse of fear.
Daemon stopped and Aegon watched as his Stark-like brother kneeled. "Your Grace," he said with an accent from both Dorne and the North. "I pledge my loyalty and allegiance to you." Purple eyes found themselves looking into amethyst pools, and honestly, Aegon thought he saw relief in them. "I also give you Blackfyre, the sword that was descended from one Targaryen King to another, but also the crown of Aegon the First."
"Damn you Dae." He heard his sister whisper beside him, but Aegon didn't think much of it but instead nodded and stood from the throne.
Walking down the few steps he went to stand before his little brother and watched as he stood up as well and to reveal that he was only an inch smaller than he was. Aegon stopped before his brother and held out his right hand and after a few quick seconds, he felt the weight of a Valyrian sword in his grasp. Daemon stepped back and he did what he wanted, unsheathing the sword the King enjoyed the weight and held it straight out to his left.
"This sword is truly one of a kind, don't you think Prince Daemon?" He said and looked back to his sibling and watched as he nodded. "However, I find myself liking the blade at your hip. May I give it a shot?" Aegon said as he pointed to the sword he wanted and sheathed Blackfyre and once the blade was covered, he watched Daemon remove the sword from his belt, a bit hesitant at first.
Once the blade was removed and before him, the Targaryen King took it and gave back the one the Conqueror used. "Now this, this is more like it." He said as he released Dark Sister from her prison and gave her a few swings. "This is more my thing than Blackfyre or this one." At that, he removed the sword from his belt and gave it to the Kingsguard behind him, and placed the second Targaryen sword in its place. "Now that." He said and he didn't even need to point to it before he found a circlet of Valyrian steel in his hands.
Looking at the crown worn by the first King of all of Westeros and in a deep part of his mind a voice told him to put it on, however, he fought it back and began with his plan. Grabbing it with both hands he went to place it upon his head, but before he could he flinched his head away. "Weird." He said out loud and again tried to place it upon his head of silver, and again he flinched. "That's odd, it's like my body is saying it doesn't want it."
Aegon looked to Daemon and immediately he saw the pleading in his brother's eyes, but he only smiled. "Kneel." He said plainly and clearly to the whole of the hall, and he watched as the Stark-Targaryen prince knelt with a look of defeat. Placing the crown upon the head of black and silver he stepped to the right and in a clear voice. "We stand in the presence of King Daemon Targaryen, First of his Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, and the Dragonbringer!"
Upon finishing what he had to, he turned and knelt before his brother and shortly after everyone followed, Stormlords(a bit hesitant), Dorish, the Kingsguard and his Golden Company knelt before their true king and they all watched as he sat upon the Storm Throne, and once sat everyone stood up and cheered. They however weren't alone for outside of the walls six roars were heard, two of them out roaring the other four, and under the bellowing noises a duo of howls could be heard.
However, Aegon's attention was taken when he felt someone poking his shoulder, looking at the person he found a guard standing there. "My Prince there's someone here claiming to have brought Princess Daenerys Targaryen."
