Galan Penewing was as noble a knight as any. He lived by his sword and swore to protect the people of High Rock with his very life. He was a knight in the Order of the Templar, an order of knights born during the Oblivion Crisis to aid those in need. Galan admired the Templar Knights of High Rock and their mission of helping others. He even had the look of a fairytale knight, with medium-length black hair, a neatly trimmed beard, and eyes as blue as the Iliac Bay. His armor resembled that of Pelinal Whitestrake, but with a noticeable difference: instead of a red diamond on the chest, the Templar bore a red cross, symbolizing their aid during the Oblivion Crisis. Galan preferred to travel alone, avoiding the risk of others getting hurt in battle, much to the dismay of his fellow knights. Recently, however, he had grown fond of a Bosmer archer he had begun traveling with. The way Galan met Auri was quite something. He was merely camping in the forests near Wayrest, en route to Daggerfall to report his deeds to his commander, when he heard bandits celebrating over a creature they had caught. He saw a young girl about to be butchered. Her being a Wood Elf didn't influence his decision to intervene. The two began traveling together, forming a sibling-like bond. To say Galan was used to fighting for his people was an understatement, but this battle would be different. It would change his life forever./p

Wasting no time, the two made haste to the nearest port and boarded a ship headed for Hammerfell./p

As for the reason, the letter was pretty vague," the Breton replied. Auri rolled her eyes./p

The city was impressive, with the golden sand illuminating the brick structures. "Now Auri, you should wait here while I talk to the Priestess," Galan said./p

It was true. They had stopped in Gothway Garden for a time. One of Galan's traditions was to seek out the local temple and pray to the primary Divine. Auri didn't quite understand, being a follower of Y'ffre, but it was part of the Templar Oath. While he was giving blessings to Kynareth, he overheard a scream and discovered Auri attempting to munch on a priest's arm. Auri rolled her eyes at the memory as Galan entered the temple. "Pffft," she spat. "Like I wanted to hear it anyway," she muttered, crossing her arms./p

"Now, what of this letter you sent me?"/p
p style="border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 15.12px; font-family: 'Lucida Grande', 'Lucida Sans Unicode', Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif, 'GNU Unifont'; vertical-align: baseline; list-style: none; margin: 1.286em auto; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.5; color: #2a2a2a;" align="left"The Priestess sat Galan down in a pew and began to explain. "Word gets around the temples. Blessings and confessions are shared so we may pass them along to our goddess. We received a confession that we felt only the Templar Knights could address." This intrigued Galan even more. "The confession came from a Temple of Kynareth, but the person requested it be passed on to Dibella. A Redguard woman in Skyrim feels her life is in danger. We request that you go to Skyrim, find her, and give her the help she desires." Now he truly felt like a fairytale knight, about to save a damsel in distress./p

There is a boat heading to the capital city of Solitude at the next port. From there, you should catch a carriage to the city of Whiterun. When you arrive, find the local tavern and ask for Saadia." After the quest was given, the two exchanged one final bow before Galan exited the temple. He was pounced on by an overly excited Bosmer in seconds./p
p style="border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 15.12px; font-family: 'Lucida Grande', 'Lucida Sans Unicode', Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif, 'GNU Unifont'; vertical-align: baseline; list-style: none; margin: 1.286em auto; padding: 0px; line-height: 1.5; color: #2a2a2a;" align="left""So, what was it? "Skyrim!? But that place is cold! Too cold for a Bosmer!" All Galan could do was chuckle at her and suggest she bring a nice fur coat. She groaned at his suggestion./p

"We. Unless you think you can find your way back to Daggerfall from here." The thought of running into more of the bandits that kidnapped her made her shiver. "No! I will brave the cold! I will be a frostbitten Bosmer!" she proclaimed as she latched onto his right arm. Galan knew the journey would be long, and truthfully, he enjoyed her company on these long treks. Especially when heading to Skyrim./p
