Leaning my head on the shower wall with a sigh as warm water cascaded around me, this place is so small I can't even bend over, only move in circles.

A few day's have passed and I am starting to feel so trapped in this place. No one talks to me but nurse and even then it is only about my health. I looked for angry boy but he seems to be long gone.

Stepping out I tried to dry off with the smallest towel before getting annoying dressed in the hot room. I always liked to get air dried but I may be watched and people can just walk into my room. What was worse was my clothes were dirty.

The highlight of my days are the books, today it was advanced chakra control, there was a section about sticking a leaf to my forehead.

I moved on and sat on my bed as I looked around the room, leaning back on my arms unsure what to do when I saw a small brown leaf in the window. Placing it in the palm of my hand it took me a bit to understand chakra as I tried to make it stick to me but I could not do it making me give up and then more time goes by and I try again, I wound up in a circle of boredom.

After what felt like ages I got excited as it stuck to my hand for only a moment, I just continued to focus on this. How cool if I could use this 'chakra' how fun would that be. Thinking back on the basic justu book about changing my looks and make what they call a clone doubting I could do that but this was interesting.

I mean I must have read it wrong as there is no way these people can do that.

Right?

I will believe it when I see it.

But I could hold a leaf to my skin and that was cool.

I was a mix between sad and completely ecstatic.

So I spent my day playing with the leaf and rereading the dirty romance novel as that was all there was to do.

I kicked my legs over the small bed and stretched with a yawn, waking up in a hospital has changed my sleeping pattern. I looked outside at the rising sun wishing for coffee before I waddled to the bathroom and just sat on the toilet a little to long as I woke up.

I sighed at my mess of a head wishing for a brush before I moved to grab the new book of the day.

I stared at it funny, it was a book about chakra control, hmm, I think I am being watched. It was exactly what I needed.

I looked around the room, where is this person?

I peered out the window, I saw no one and I am pretty sure there is no camera's in here as I have seriously looked for them so I pushed passed my small bit of worry as there is nothing I can do and I sat in the window kicking one leg over the side as I leaned on the frame and started to read.

I also would watch the Alien like a hawk.

I watched the cute town wishing for my computer or even just my phone, I had a few offline mind games. The new book helped me mess around with the leaf better. I played with it until lunch then headed to explore the hospital.

I just embrace my horrible direction skills now.

I moved slowly as I watched the ground avoiding the gaze of people.

I started to notice people always had the same look when they looked at me, not sure if it was worry, dislike, confusion or all of the above but none of them would talk to me. It made me feel lonely wishing for a small bit of conversation about anything.

I just strolled around, moving down a hallway that was wider and empty, massive doors lined the walls sparsely.

I think I am in some kind of emergency section.

Turning a corner I saw a sad man in the normal green vest staring at the ground sadly with glazed eye's it pulled at my heart before he looked up at me and I watched his face change as he scanned me over into the 'look', I spun on my feet and just moved quickly. Everyone seems to know who I am and I wonder what they say to always have the same look.

I looked up when I noticed I was in a darkly lit hallway, there seemed to be no one in this section assuming it would be used if the hospital was packed but it was not. Looking to the right there was a small set of stairs going up, I was on the top floor so with curiosity I headed up. It got darker as I moved, I came to a heavy door and pushed it open, the sun was blinding as I walked out making me shut my eye's and blink a few times.

The roof?

It was amazing up here, looking around there was a couple water tanks and a spot where they seemed to be drying white blankets. Looking out at the world three floors like this one seems to be the tallest here. There was only a few higher then this making me see the city much better as my room was on the second floor.

This town was just adorable.

I was admiring the view and some real fresh air when a few green leaves floated by me so I snatched one out of the air.

Really focusing I think I had it as I flipped my hand over and I counted, I got to twenty seconds before it floated away. It made me so happy I bounced on my toes, mindlessly pushing chakra into them I ended up jumping a foot into the air, I made a shocked noise as I fell back down.

I looked at my feet startled. "Shit." I did it again and this time a happy noise come out, then I really jumped making me giggle like a mad man. "Oh this is how someone does it." I started to jog around the roof pushing it at every jump. So this is what a superhero feels like.

My body was healed and I have not ran in years I think, I was to lazy to but it felt great to move in ways after being stuck so long just sitting. I easily jumped onto a water tank before I backflipped off it but I had no shoes and I landed on a small rock making me pause in pain as the shock passed, then I danced around a little excited.

I know they can move faster then I just did but this jumping skill was so fucking fun.

How high can I go?

I closed my eye's and really focused before I got ready, I pushed chakra as I jumped with a shock went through me, like someone was watching me making me fuck up and fall on my ass. I was sitting on the ground in an unflattering way so confused at what that was.

Standing up I scanned every roof, tree and area I could see but there was not one single person looking my way, it made my mood drop and I just walked back to the door, looking around one last time I went inside.

If I am being watched where the fuck are they and how can they hide like that?

"Ava."

"Hmm." I mumbled while walking mindlessly lost in thought.

"AVA!" Snapping me out of my zone, Looking behind me was my nurse. "What are you doing here?" I looked around confused.

"Oh umm, I was just walking." I scanned the area I was in. "I don't know where I am."

She sighed making me feel bad and gestured me to follow. "This way." I just walked beside her silently.

"You use chakra to heal right?"

"Yes."

I looked her in her eyes, noting we were the same height. "Is it hard?"

She just looked forward. "It takes a lot of chakra control and a long time to get good at it, so yes its hard." I nodded in thought. "Is it something you're interested in?"

I just smiled at her. "I am just interested in it all." I looked forward. "We don't have chakra where I come from." She made no physical sign but I think she became alert.

"What's it like where your from?"

I did not think, the fact someone was talking to me just made me rant. "It is so different, we don't have chakra and can not run fast like you but we have car's and our buildings go up higher then fifty floors." She just listened. "The food is different and I miss pizza." I looked at her. "You don't have pizza right?"

"No?" She did not know what that was so I just babbled on.

"Strangely we both have TVs even if mine are not the same." Making her look at me confused. "I miss video games as I have nothing to do all day."

"What is a video game?" I looked at her a large smile on my face.

"It is, well, it is a game you can own a farm or fight stuff." I looked at her. "Wow I never explained it before, it is a weird thing to do."

She just looked at me as I tried to think of how to explain it when she paused, I kept walking for a few seconds before I looked back at her and the pointed. "Your room."

I gave an awkward smile. "Oh." I walked passed her sad that she will leave now and I am sick of these walls.

"Let me check you out."

I was excited as she followed me in, everyone leaves when I enter my room. I sat on my bed excited and waited for her. Watching the green glow as she searched me, I could feel it better then before like it was invading my body and I did not like that feeling. "This is still weird to me." I said and she gave me a genuine smile.

"Your chakra network is stronger again."

"Oh ya? That's good right?" She nodded.

"Well I have things to do, see you later." I smiled sadly at her as I watched her leave, I slid back slightly so I could kick my feet as I frowned looking around the room with a sigh.

"How long will I be here for?" I just leaned forward unhappy before I looked at the books and picked up icha icha again and sat in the window. I now have favorite naughty parts, I am sure it was easy to read my face when I come across one.

I was on my favorite part with a smirk on my face when she brought me more food, it made me feel nervous as I put it down like shutting a laptop computer when watching porn.

She did not seem to notice as I took the food and continued to read as I ate.

I was loosing all sense of time and I just felt more and more lonely, my nurse would talk a little as we shared insignificant things about both our worlds.

I can hold a leaf to my head, she saw me once and told me that was why they held the leaf symbol on there foreheads. I felt slightly connected to this place for once for just a moment. I guess there was a school where you can learn to fight with your chakra, I wanted to go, not to fight but to mess with it more.

I did spend a lot of time on the roof and the more I move around the deeper I sleep. Every morning was my favorite part of the day because I got a new book. I want to talk to the person that does this, they made my days better.

Most of my fear had subsided even if they still wont let me out of here and I feel leaving on my own was a bad idea.

My days started to repeat and I had read the novel so many times I just find my favorite pages and just reread that.

I was playing my main video game as I chatted with an old online friend, We took down a group of players with ease when my lights flickered. I could feel a man standing next to me that I could not see, I jumped from my chair yelling. "Who's there?" Next thing I know I was sitting up straight in my hospital bed clucking the blanket as I scanned the room in a frenzy.

I calmed down when I noticed I was safe, a feeling of homesickness crawled into my heart, pulling my knees to my chest I hugged them and just sat there.

Looking over in the dark room there was a new book making me stare shocked as I scanned the area around me before I jumped up, is that what that was? I looked out the window to the point I could fall for the person who was just here, someone just brought the book.

I stood up as I rubbed my head so confused.

These guys are amazing.

Now I was awake I sat in the window and stared at the moon, feeling peaceful.

I heard a shuffle in the hall and a small spark flashed inside me as they walked passed my door but I just ignored it and gazed up at the stars.

There was something in the air I could feel now but I could not place it, a feeling I did not understand. I watched the stars that were seen through the thin clouds before I was ready to sleep again. I flipped into the bed far from gracefully, pulled the blanket to cuddle and just fell asleep.

Yawning I strolled around the hospital. I watched the floor to not see the people look at me when I moved to turn. A small feeling was in my gut making me stop, suddenly a kid ran around the corner almost hitting me.

Had I not stopped we would have ran into each other.

I watched him disappear startled and confused on what that was before I continued on. I walked uninterrupted for about an hour and actually found my room, flopping on the bed I just stared at the ceiling.

I sighed. "I am done with this." I said to no one. "I can't take it much longer." I spoke out loud, if I don't talk to me I barely talk.

I walked to the wall in-between windows curious and bored, I stuck my hands to it as I moved my chakra around like with the leaf.

Then I just fell backwards but my hands stayed stuck to the wall making me give a small smile before releasing it. I did it a few more times, this time I brought up a foot and tried to pry myself off but they held strong when I felt that spark again. I turned and looked just before my nurse walked in, something clicked in my mind.

I just stared at her funny as she walked towards me, she looked behind her and back at me asking me what was wrong with her eye's. "Oh." I said quietly and moved to take the tray of food. "Weird." I quietly said again confusing her but she just gave me a strange look and left.

The day went the same. I went to the roof, I chain smoked and watched the town.

Sleeping and the books were all I had to look forward to.

I was half asleep as the dark night, I heard the shuffle of feet and I felt that spark, I turned to look at the door as a man walked passed and it vanished. I wanted to care but I was to tired.

I sat up startled again from my dream making me look around the dark room. My eye's landing on the new book making me jump up and move fast to the window to see the culprit. I leaned out completely and did not see anyone at all.

I sighed as I stood there running my hand in my hair, curious I shut my eye's and moved to find that spark that keep's happening. It was hard to find but I think I see something, one small something.

I pushed my chakra out but it did nothing but feel wrong.

I tried to clear my mind as I slowly walked around my room, knowing the place good enough to not run into something.

I was near my slightly ajar door when I finally saw the spark again. I peeked out as two people walked by making me lean on the wall and watch them, closing them again I could not longer see it. Moving back between the foot of my bed and the other when I saw it again.

It was such a small feeling, almost not there.

So they are close?

What the actual fuck?

My eye's snapped open.

Where the fuck is this person?

This is impossible.

I looked around the room for a hiding spot, I looked under every bed, whipping open the bathroom door, made sure the partition was closed and even looked in the wooden chest. I am sure I was looking like an idiot.

I was so confused I had to know.

That's it!

"I know you're here, I don't know where but I know you're here." I spoke with fake confidence.

A strong wind hit my face making me blink, a small noise escaped me as there was a man squatting in my window. He may only be a few years older then me but I could not help but stare. He had crazy white hair that stood at an impossible angle, his face was covered but one eye that stared at me with such intensity making me freeze.

His eye then turned like a fake smile and the air got more scary and dangerous.

I was so scared.

I fucked up

"How?" He asked in a threatening tone, fake smile still on his covered face.

I so fucked up.

I could not speak as his eye narrowed. "I figured long ago I was watched then the, the eye's." His face did not change but I knew I was not talking sanely. "There is blue in this area." I pointed at my head forgetting the word 'head' He got even more threatening making me close my eyes waiting for him to hurt me.

After what felt like a long time I opened my eye's again and looked at him, the air was still threatening and tense but he still crouched there unmoving.

"You can see blue?" His cool voice showed no emotion, not sure if it was a good or bad thing.

"Barely, I don't know, maybe." I blurted out, If he asked for my most embarrassing moment or all my money I would hand it right over, hoping he wont ask I was almost shaking.

"You can see chakra?" The air calmed a little making me breath easier.

"Not sure." I mumbled as I bit my lip as he just stared at me with no emotion and gave nothing away to what he was thinking, the fear climbed back up as he did not move an inch when a thought popped in my head.

This is my watcher?

I looked him over, he was in the same outfit as many others, without the fear there was something about him. The mystery this man has is interesting, the only skin that seems to be shown is his one eye, I checked him over feeling curious at who this man was.

"Did you bring me the books?" I asked calmly as I stared at his covered face.

It took a second but he spoke back. "Yes."

A big smile crossed my face with an urge to ask him one question I held back.

"They are good books, I am glad I finally get to thank you." I mimicked his fake smile back at him.

Ask him.

"They helped me out so much and the romance novel was great."

He fake eye smiled back. "I'm glad." His strangely sexy voiced drolled making me notice I liked it.

Ask him.

We stood staring at each other, a thickness in the air as I fought myself not to ask the stupid question but the longer we stood there the more I wanted to break the quiet. "Did you bring them to scare me or help me?" Came out of my mouth as I looked at him with curiosity.

This time he smiled and it did not look as fake. "Maybe both." And he vanished.

I moved to the window and looked out he was just gone, I closed my eyes and tried to find him but that small thing was now gone, if he is still around I could not see him anymore.

Shit he's amazing.

Climbing back into bed and I could not stop the giggles bubbling up inside me 'maybe both' rattling around in my brain. I should have been scared but I could not wipe the smile off my face, he hooked me with that line.

I wonder what his name is.

I grabbed the new book and was pleasantly surprised it was a second icha icha, I was so excited to read it and I was wide awake so decided to start it, turning on the light I got comfortable in my bed as I shifted around and started to read.

He has good taste in books.

I said. "Thank you." Under my breath.

"Ava."

A males voice pulled me from my sleep as I looked up sleepy, the book pressed under my chest as I pushed my body up and I wiped drool off my face. "Huh?"

"Good morning Ava." It was the old man and his hat standing at the base of my bed, shit sit up.

This guy deserves respect.

"I would like to talk to you." He seemed to speak with care.

"Okay." I shifted into sitting cross legged.

"Nice hair." He smiled at me with humor.

"Ha is it bad." I asked in a laugh as I patted it down, ya it was a mad mess.

He then got serious. "So I hear you can use your chakra and can see it, yes?"

"Umm, barely, I don't know." He looked at me in thought his strong pipe smoke on his clothes drifted into my nose as I waited.

"Can you see the chakra in the room?"

I closed my eye's cleared my mind and focused, I pushed my chakra out again but like last time it just felt wrong.

"Umm, I see three blue sparks, I can't see where or who it is just, there."

Opening my eyes to look at him. "But it is only you." Slightly behind the partition finding my nurse. "And you." Looking at him. "So is he here also?" I asked in a whisper as I spun my finger and leaned forward. "How does he hide like that?" My nurse laughed and walked away like it was so obvious.

The old man just smiled at me. "Well this is interesting." After a pause he asked. "How would you like to learn some ninja skills?"

"Yes." I almost jumped out of my bed with glee, he seemed to like my reaction.

They are called ninjas? The strange name made me giggle but I now understand how he hid so well if they are like anything from the story's at home. That was the least of my worries as I smiled at him and he smiled back.

He walked out before looking back. "Let me get some things in order and I will see if I can get you a place to stay." He was gone as I smiled as I sat with my legs crossed, a place to stay?

I am getting out of here?

This is exciting, I got up and paced with a smile that would not leave. Doing a small dance before I remembered that man may still be around, he is like a freaking ghost.

I was feeling so restless when I looked at the book that was spread on my bed I shifted back and found a part I remember. I had a little trouble reading as my mind was busy. When I hit the first dirty part I was then completely pulled in. I had a lame smirk on my face when my nurse walked in making me put the book down quickly, I am sure the look of being caught mid porn was all over my face.

"Came to check you out."

"Alright." I really wanted to keep reading but I slid to the edge.

"Well you are fine to leave, I just needed to check your chakra network again."

That perked me back up that I wont be here much longer as I smiled up at her.

"It is growing." She mumbled.

"What is it like compared to you?" I asked

She gave a amused smile. "Not even close."

"Oh." She noticed I was sad.

"It works like a muscle, work with it and it will get stronger." I just nodded the smile back on my face. "I am glad to see you leave." She spoke with kindness and I know she meant it.

"Did not know you hated me that much." I lamely joked I was just so giddy, she just made a tssk sound. She had the most genuine smile as she left. I lit a smoke and looked around glad to see this place move behind me. I sat on my bed looking at the stack of books I seemed to have now.

The light in the darkness.

I opened the newer novel and got back into it, I think this one is better then the first, you care about the people, the story is great and the sex was written very well. Even if it feels like it was made for men, I really enjoyed it. There was a few silly moments like when he described boobs but it was still great.

I almost jumped up when the old man came back. "Good afternoon." He said while he gracefully strode into the room.

I could burst as I was so excited. "Hey." I said weirdly and gave an awkward wave.

"Well I found a place in a common genin building." He got me a home? The smile did not leave. "I have a bit of money bi-weekly until you can get on your feet." Making me pause in shock as I looked at him.

He noticed and gave a big smile. "Really?" I asked seriously. "Are you sure?" He can't be real.

He chuckled. "And a bit extra for some clothes, can't wear that everywhere." He gestured to my outfit, making me grab the bottom of my t-shirt and laughed lightly.

I had the biggest urge to hug him but I held back. "Thank you so much sir."

He chuckled again. "Sir?"

A home, money?

"Wow, I can't believe this, thank you, how do I repay you."

He smiled kindly at me. "You will, gather your things and I will show you your new home."

I was so excited that the words 'you will' just flew over my head.

I stuffed everything in my sweater pockets and that was not much, I tossed my shoe and shirt into the garbage bin when I noticed I was missing my wallet. Looking under the blankets and pillow I found it open under my bed. I looked at my cards, they were all there but one, my gym card. Getting on my knees I tried to look for it but I couldn't find it.

It is not like I need it, I have not even been to the gym in ages.

I looked at the books while I was down here, I don't need them but I want to keep the novels and I can't carry them all. I felt bad for leaving them but I think I have to. The old man was not to long and he was back in my doorway as I jumped up so happy, passing the door I peered in the garbage can and pulled out my one shoe before I followed him away. Unsure why.

With a bounce in my step we moved out of the hospital, I looked at everything as we weaved through streets on windy roads. I was already lost but it was nice to see this place from down here. Actually passing these people was lovely, many would nod at the Hokage and for once people ignored me.

We came to a strange large green building. The stairs were outside but built into the middle of it, he stuck a key into a chipped green door and it opened up. "Here we are."

It was small and dusty but I looked around amazed. It was perfect. Across from the door was a large window like the hospital. A tiny room of space as to the wall next to the door was a small kitchen, with a tiny stove and fridge and a few cabinets. I was glad to find a small white table with two chairs.

I put my sweater on the kitchen cabinets as I went to look in the two doors, the one closest to the kitchen was a small bedroom with a small bed, small dresser and a crappy little window but I was happy. I sat on the bed and it barely squeaked, it was much softer then the hospital one, looking out the window it entered into a small alleyway.

I shuffled to the next room and I almost squealed. It was a great bathroom, my favorite room so far. It had a cracked mirror over a small sink but there was shelf space, what got me was the decently sized shower with a bath. A bubble bath is incoming.

I walked back out looking at all the chipped paint, This is my place!

"This is..." He was gone, I did not notice. He left a stack of money on the table, a strange looking currency, I don't know how much is really here. I got it all into my wallet and picked up the small map with lines and circle around the clothing store making me laugh. I decided to search the kitchen before I go, I found two small bowls, two cups, spoons and chopsticks.

"Free at last." I spoke loudly. "Ah I love it." And now I was free to do whatever I want, I locked my door and followed the map to new clothes.

I admired everything as I strolled, I tried to follow the map but I was lost again, passing good smelling restaurants made me hold myself back as I may not have a lot of money. I will need shoes as the strange sandals they gave me were uncomfortable and weird.

I passed a place filled with weapons, I stared into the large doors fighting myself not to go in, I could see swords on the wall.

What kind of world is this?

Looking around a bit more I needed help, I need to ask someone.

I looked around for an approachable face, when I saw a cute guy down the road. His brown hair up on top of his head with the headgear and a scar on his nose, he was a ninja but I was drawn in, he had these kind eyes and an air like he was someone who would keep you safe, so I reached out.

"Hello, I am so lost I am looking for a clothing store." I was about to say but I only got halfway through when his kind eyes changed to the look I keep getting.

What did I do?

I moved to turn and leave.

"What are you looking for?" He asked in a Defensive way

"Clothing store." I mumbled, I saw him look down at my gray hospital outfit.

"I will show you." He turned and walked away at a brisk pace. I had to jog to keep up, ninjas are fast even when they are slow. He showed me to a place with two large open doors, I turned to thank him but he was gone as I looked everywhere.

They like to do that huh?

Time to shop.

I looked around lost on the style before I reached out to a sales lady for help, she smiled kindly at me making me smile back as she may not know who I am. She started to dress me like a doll as we looked for something we both liked.

I got some gray fingerless gloves and black mesh on the middle of my arms. Some basic black shorts and a white half skirt that only went down on the right side. A light pale blue top that showed of a lot of cleavage and crisscrossed over my neck.

And last the same shoes everyone wears in black, they were the most comfortable and breathable shoes I have ever worn and I understand why everyone wears them. I also got some pajamas so that all took a lot of my money.

Following my nose out I wondered to the best smelling place.

It was a strange place, people sat outside along a bar, small flags hanging from the roof. I was going to check it out when I noticed the man that helped me was sitting there with some orange child who tried to grab that thing on his head and he would not let him.

I guess that thing means something and others should not wear it.

I turned to find a different place.

I found my way into some BBQ place where I guess I cook my own meat. When he asked for my drink and I mindlessly said Pepsi and we kind of just stared at each other. "Surprise me." I finally spoke, I have no idea what they drink here.

I was not sure how long I had to cook it for so it was a little burnt when I ate it and the juice tasted like prune juice so that sucked.

Other then my failures I really liked this place.

On my way back I stopped at a store for essentials like shampoo and hygiene products. It started to get dark out, my hands full of bags as I wondered lost.

I thought I found it and went to use my key but it would not work when an older gentleman opened the door with a glare on his face, I apologized and moved on.

Must be a lot of buildings like this.

I think I finally found it, I gave a knock before I tried my key but it was my place. Dropping the bags on the floor I grabbed stuff for something important.

A fucking bath.

I almost walked out naked when I wondered if I still have a watcher so I dressed in the bathroom annoyed but new clothes and being clean was amazing.

I left my window open as I lied on my new bed and I fell asleep so fast.
