It was a beautiful sight as I stood there just staring, a giant waterfall that pored onto a hole in the ground like it destroyed the rocks and landed in some cave below. We stood somewhere in the maze of canyons.
Moving closer completely impressed I peered over the edge and I could see it went down farther then I figured like a black never ending hole. I was not alone as the genin and Shika never came here themselves, the girls moved next to me as we all looked down in admiration.
We started walking again and came to this area where some stone had fallen away to to the many layered floors and we started walking on decently sized but small paths, it did not scare me as I looked down, it was the coolest place I have ever seen as it was like many small paths in strange way's going deeper and deeper.
I had to fight an urge just just start jumping and see where it goes "I want to just..." Tenten spoke making me smile as she was walking just behind me and saw me staring down making me give a small noise back at her in agreement.
I was sad when we came across a regular path again but then I felt four chakra's making me look up, A big smile on my face as I peered at Rio and his teammates from the big party I once went to. Rio was smiling down on me as he sat high above "We came to greet you leaf ninja's" his voice made me smile so big, I thought he was from the bigger city not this one but it was nice to be wrong.
They all jumped down "The dragonfly" That cute guy that abducted me said while smiling at me so cutely, Asuma give a small look my way before he steeped forward and introduced us and them to us and we started to follow them as they guided us through the maze "got to say" I spoke at Rio who walked beside me "this is an amazing area"
He looked up and nodded "I do love my home" he smiled down on me when one of his friends up front called out to him and moved next to them, Tenten slid next to me "you seem to have friends everywhere" I smiled at her.
"Naw I am sure this is it, if I run into anyone else I know it will shock me" I joked but she just nodded.
We came to a small place as the village was built inside the cliff sides another big waterfall with three sperate streams was next to the entrance, this has to be the prettiest ninja village I know so far. It was well set up so that there was only one way in but we had to stop at the gate guards as the ninja's escorting us waited and we had to do the whole passport deal and say why we were here, I was so excited to be here.
We were taken to the leader right away as I again became a tourist and stared around in awe, this place was bigger then most normal villages but far smaller then both Konoha and Suna but the weather was great, it was a perfect temperature with no real wind down here.
The way the people here dress was the best style I have seen in this world, its not the clashing blue and green but wonderful browns, dark greens and blacks, the best outfit's yet.
We were brought to an area and headed up some stairs built into the side. We came to big wooden doors as Rio knocked "Come in" an old voice spoke up from inside so he opened the door and held it for us, There looking at us was this old man, he was bald with a long Dumbledore beard, his ageing lines told me he was not a friendly man and his strong chakra also screamed cruel, his eye's turned into a hidden glare and Rio left the room shutting the door behind him.
Sakura moved to speak up as she was the ambassador of this mission but he looked at her like she was nothing but a small young female making his eye's land the eldest man "So you are here to give me my stuff back" Asuma understood and stepped forward pulling out the scrolls and moved to place them on his big expensive looking desk.
Sakura seemed to understand and took it in stride even if you could see the small vain on her head throb as she held back her anger of being disregarded like that, I bet it was taking everything not to make a fuss.
He scanned all of us again and with a head shake "what, this was not important enough to not bring children?"
I could see everyone else tensed up along with me, worried I may do something wrong here I just stayed quiet.
He looked at me "at least there is two adult's" he leaned forward "so you are the one that saved Rio from an Orochimaru lab?" that made the kids look at me shocked, Sakura stepped forward as she gaped at me looking like she wanted to ask me something before she held it back also, glancing between me and the old man.
"Well at least they sent someone so powerful" I held back a smile and laugh at his mistake and just nodded, best he thinks I am strong as this man looks at us like we are gum on his shoe and maybe he wont attack us on our way out.
He picked up the scrolls and checked them out before he waved at us "well we are done here, leave as soon as you can" he was so rude and his eye's so cold, I really don't like this man, for looking like a kind a old wizard in all movies his personality did not match. After a kind thank you from us for some reason we turned and left as Rio was waiting outside.
He took us to his favorite restaurant once we said we could eat, him and Asuma actually got along quiet well as we chatted and ate but I think we will leave this place before nightfall and camp in the canyons again just to be gone as soon as possible. Once Rio heard that he stood up "I need to steal Ava for ten minutes" he looked at me with a smile I looked at Asuma for permission and he nodded so I stood up and followed my old friend.
He let me go alone and I was happy about that.
He took me down a few paths away from everyone, this place had thin walkways and many people so we had to weave a few times "Sorry for pulling you away but once I was sent to greet you my wife really wanted to meet you" I smiled.
"Aw, that is great"
We came to a door in the side of the rock wall and he opened the door and just walked in, where I could feel two chakra's we walked into the cutest place obviously carved out of the stone where the prettiest white haired women stood cooking, and peering over into a living room without a tv where a small four or five year old sat playing. His wife looked my way before recognition crossed her face and she ran at me with the biggest and sweetest hug but that made me notice a change in chakra in her lover half making me pay attention and I could feel a bump on her belly.
She is pregnant, I can feel that?"
"Ava, right?" she pulled back with kindness on her face making me nod she almost looked teary eyed but she is pregnant might be more emotional. We had a short conversation mostly her thanking me before she opened a drawer and pulled out this small battered looking handmade bracelet "Honey" she called to the kid who then seemed to care we were here and spotted it in her hand.
She held it out towards her and the cute kid's eyes grew big before landing on me, she got up and ran at me and hugged into my legs "you saved my daddy" she left me go and took it from her mom's hand roughly "I made this for you" I smiled, squatted and stuck out my wrist as she seemed to want to put it on me, the mom helped tie the thing to my wrist and I admired it before looking at the kid.
"This is beautiful, thank you" she nodded in a shy way making me smile, I don't care for kids but this was adorable. She asked if I wanted to stay for dinner but I couldn't we are leaving soon she gave me another hug before I moved to leave.
"Was nice to meet you" I spoke before he showed me back to my group.
It was so nice to see him again, I love how he is doing so well.
Everyone but Asuma was sleeping in the small cave we found, I stood up and walked out and moved away from the cave where Asuma could see me, Sitting down I closed my eye's and focused, this is the third try and if any memories came to me, they were from home not the ones I was hoping for. The lighting shocked through me and I had a quick flash.
I was to weak to move my mind spinning as I stared at a dark gray ceiling, I was so out of it I could not think when a spinning sharingan was in my view at a weird angle the world blurred when I saw another, or was it the same one and I am just seeing double?
I was staring at Asuma as he watched me, he was not shocked anymore at the few times I did this, I looked back at him confused as I don't understand even a little at what I just saw. I moved and sat next to him to talk quietly.
"I think, I think I got something" he looked at me interested his smoke moving in his mouth, I get memory's from home and this was not one of them, that was for sure.
"Can I ask" I slid closer and looked behind me, making sure the kids were asleep as two of them here would not want to hear this before scanning the world "The Uchiha" I looked back but there was no movement "They are all gone right?" I looked at him worried.
He nodded "yes, it was bad, all that is left is Itachi and Sasuke" as we looked back again together but again no movement.
"And they are not in the village randomly?"
He shook his head "I think someone would have noticed" he looked at me with uncertainty at where I was going with this, I looked at the ground unsure what to say.
If one of those two came to kidnap me, I highly doubt they are kind enough to make me forget and bring me home, I mean that just sounds really weird. "can you tell me about Itachi, would he kidnap me and bring me back?"
He looked at me before staring out of the cave and his smoke boobed as he breathed it in "He came for Naruto once, he was far from stealthy just walked into the village we all had to fight him and from what I know when he tried to get him again he again just walked in again, he has the power to do it" he seemed to understand "he would not have brought you back let alone trick someone to take you hoping no one notices"
I nodded my face sad as I grabbed my legs and pulled them to me, I am so confused.
"What did you see exactly?"
"The dark ceiling in the area I once was in and the sharingan"
"That is strange"
I did not speak but the only person in the village with a sharingan is Kakashi, I would be crushed if it was him but why then try and help me.
Actually deep in my heart I know it was not him.
I mean it just can't be.
But then who then was it?
"It would not have been him" he sounded comforting, he must know my mind went to Kakashi.
"I know"
Since we were heading north from the village we started to run again, earlier both Ino and Sakura asked about my time kidnapped and I did not say much but the fact that I did not give information they wanted they have both been quiet with a dark clouds over there heads lost in there heads, I wanted to cheer them up but also enjoyed the quiet.
They have to much love for that boy.
The wind picked up as it yowled through the area before we came to the edge of cliff, we all paused on the edge and looked out into the world. We were high above of forest of tree's and strange rock formations sticking out of the lush green, they must be big and very tall to pass over the tree tops.
"We are now in the Land of Earth" Asuma spoke up "There is a small but nice village towards the west we can stop there for the night"
He turned and started to run down the side as the others followed him but I always hated that so I used my hand and foot to slid down the side we moved at the same speed but they all looked at me like I was being strange again. It made me laugh, I don't get that look much anymore.
Sakura bent over looking a piece of strange wood covered in the kind of plant we were looking for, I guess it is a kind of plant only found here and it was amazing in soup.
When I felt them, two chakra's heading towards us from opposite sides "we are about to not be alone" I spoke standing to her back as she stood up.
The one to the east paused slightly deep in the forest as the one from the west landed in view, this tall man with short spiky light brown hair checked us over.
"The second is in the forest" I spoke softly.
He wore a dark brown poncho that was so long I could barely see his dark gray pants stuffed into his black boots, his chakra was not to strong but I could see by the way he pulled out two impressively beautiful butterfly swords that he was well versed in them.
He was calm as his semi deep voice spoke "you lady's should not have left your group so far away" The way we stood she was facing him more then me as I peered over her shoulder pulling Kunai into her hands.
"No you were the one who made a mistake" she spoke "we are more then lady's" she got into a stance without leaving my back open, I slightly got ready for a fight as he spun his swords trying to be intimidating and also getting ready for a fight when the second man finally landed in front of me.
This one was a small man with short dark navy blue hair and a small shadow of a beard, he seemed not as confident as his friend, he wore a dark blue basic t shirt and the ninja pants.
He pulled out a long staff and got into a stance.
"Can I trade you" I asked Sakura as I looked this young man over, "I will take the swords"
"What?" She sounded confused but they heard me as the staff boy looked at me shocked before looking at his friend with a cocky smile.
"You are more afraid of a fancy stick then two bad ass swords?" The other man spoke confused as the staff guy looked beyond thrilled.
"Yes" I spoke again.
I do know a good staff user can be just as dangerous as anyone, if someone is good at what they do it does not matter what they use, besides I am good with duel swords but they don't need to know that.
"You are insane women"
"She just see's power where it lies" the blue guy spoke up again getting real cocky, he looked me over "I like you" he spoke with a nod. They got tense making me pull up my water and get ready as the staff guy came at me.
"Fine" Sakura spoke as she moved from our spot and spun in front of me using a Kunai to block the staff, I turned fast meeting the sword guy in the middle blocking his swords with my water before I spun low and moved to kick out his feet.
I half watched Sakura and the skilled staff guy as I moved from a swing towards my head, a very normal basic move. Blocking with water again I moved to stab him in the chest but he backed up as I jumped up and went to kick him in the head, the starting move to my best attack on a duel sword person when Sakura started to get pummeled.
My right foot landing on the blade of his left as I attached my chakra to it before swinging my leg and pulling it from his hand, letting it go it headed straight for the staff guy making him need to dodge and backing off of Sakura, I then flipped in the same move blocking his second sword before running towards her, grabbing the sword from the ground and making sure staff guy back off so she could get up as I swung it at him.
They came at me together, one sword going for my chest as the staff moved to knock me over by the knees making me flip and slide between them landing as I blocked the staff again with the sword.
I ducked a sword while swinging it up at him making him back off and used my water to cut the staff in half but for some reason it did not cut as I blocked it again, when Sakura tossed Kunai with paper bombs making me get some good distance but so did they.
We then stood in a square as we all paused.
I eyed his staff before looking at the sword in my hand, I shoved it blade first into the dirt beside me as I move better without it, the man looked like he was about to get his blade back when Sakura ran at him.
She ducked from a swing and moved to punch him in the chest making him slide in the dirt a few feet, she had some decent strength but the staff guy ran towards her, I then moved and blocked his path.
He started moving real well swinging with skill for both offensive and defensive as I tried to get a good look as to why my water would not break it along with watching Saukra's back and fighting him.
The sword man tripped her as she fell and his sword went straight for her left leg, I moved fast Kicking the staff guy in the chest so get space and wrapped my whip around it pulling it to me as she got her baring's, he did not let me pull this one away making him slide towards me in the dirt before he dug his heels in and stopped moving but it gave an opening to the staff guy.
I let the sword go as I ducked and ended up summersaulting backwards onto my feet as the sword man ran for the one I shoved into the dirt.
I got some space and quickly puppy loved him as the staff man came at me again.
The sword guy spun towards me and clasped his hands together as he swayed strangely, hearts in his eye's as he stared at me.
Sakura moved to him knowing he was slightly out of it, she seemed to be focusing something before she punched him in the face, he went flying away his body rolling before it landed on the base of a thick and tall rock formation, he was completely knocked out.
I smiled as I jumped a low swing and spun to kick him in his head but he blocked it with his staff. I used my whip wrapped around his staff as I kicked him in the chest a move he could not block, he went backwards as the staff was pulled from his hands into mine.
He looked at me shocked as I got some space and finally was able to look at it well. It was pretty and detailed like crazy, Sakura walked up beside me. "What is this made of?" I looked at him interested but he just looked between us before landing on his friend and then the one sword stuck in the dirt and the other far behind us lying in the grass.
He did not speak as he moved towards the one in the dirt, it was not to far from him but I just watched him pull it out and get into his staff stance ready to fight us with a small determined glare.
I spun the long staff in my hand like a baton, I know I am not a good staff user before I tried to smash it into the ground like a guitar but it did not break making me look at him again as he stared at his staff like I stole his puppy.
It was so heartbreaking I wanted to give it back.
He then ran at me, sword up in the air "ahhh" he yelled but I just jumped away as Sakura moved to attack him, he was okay at wielding it but he was swinging it like a crazy person making me move between them again.
I blocked a swing to Sakura before I spun and used his staff to spin like a pole dancer and kicked towards his head before landing on my feet with a smile of joy, I enjoyed having a staff and used it for range as I squatted and swept it at his feet.
He jumped in the air.
Shoving Chakra into my feet holding the staff behind me I used my free shoulder as I rammed into him shoving my water into his chest, I cut him as he flew away. We waited as he got on his feet, fear in his eye's as he held his lightly bleeding wound.
He stepped back looking at his friend "this is not worth it" he spoke so softly, maybe he will tell us why they attacked us. He stepped back again obviously wondering if he should just leave.
I spun the pretty staff again "What does he even want?" I asked quietly to Sakura.
"To become a woman" I looked at her "I don't know ask him"
I made a small ha "alright" I spoke louder "What do you want from us?"
He did not speak.
"He just wants to swing his staff around a couple of pretty females" I joked as I spun it again making her look at me confused "right your a child" I forget sometimes as they can be pretty matured in some cases, she just looked a tiny bit more confused making me hold back a smirk, what is she 15 or worse 14? I don't know, I felt a little creepy and wrong at that joke.
He was about to run when I tossed the staff back at him. It landed at his feet as he stared at me confused and slowly bent to pick it up, his eye's not leaving me. Sakura made a confused noise and looked at me like I was crazy.
I feel like he should keep his weapon and I know we can take him again, it was an amazing staff, unsure why he was here and not sure if he will attack someone else it may have been stupid but it felt right.
My eye's grew when I heard the noise making me duck from a big ass shuriken before moving sideways as I dodged something else. This man had hidden his chakra, it was so fast I was unsure what I just dodged when the man landed beside the staff wielder.
Sakura moving beside me startled.
The new man glared down at him before looking to the knocked out other and slightly growling out "you two are useless" making the blue hired man look at the ground sadly as he held tighter on his staff.
I think he still wanted to run and not just from us.
"They said hire them, they are good at what they do" he looked at me as he said it, like I would understand making me give him a small smile out of pity that no one laughed at his joke "right?"
This man stood taller then the staff guy, looking around 40 with a bald head and a weird mustache, he had muscles and a flowery red and white robe, it was so strange, however he held no weapon and his chakra was to hidden for me to read.
He gave a look at Sakura as he looked this girl up and down making me step in front of her ready to fight, it was creepy and it pissed me off deep inside.
He smirked at me and moved to do some hand signs. Unsure what he does I tossed a smoke bomb at his feet before I foliage faded grabbing her hand and running into the forest with her.
He was on us anyway, catching up with ease I let her hand go as she jumped a few branches away and paused however I already shoved chakra into my feet and charged at him my fists more sharp then normal.
I came in close as we moved around the branches away from her, he dodged me easy and the longer the second the more he smiled at me, he was testing me isn't he, seeing what I can do.
Sakura tossed Kunai at him but it made me need to move, I slid back between them as he blocked all of them with one kunai in his hand with such speed, he just smirked at us.
I was glad to see the staff guy was gone, unsure why he was just gone but that made me happy dealing with him too would suck, I would hate to need to go into sage mode out in this strange land.
I breathed in slowly as his creepy smile grew, suddenly I was flying off the branch with a pain in my chest, he was so fast, grabbing my hand on a branch I spun myself back up slashing with my water at his chest as he moved to Sakura but I blocked him again as I ditched my weights in the same move.
I landed on a branch and dove towards him again.
"Sakura" I spoke, I was faster on my feet now but it was still hard to hit him "go find the others" he ducked and hit me square in the head, I stepped a few paces back on the branch, it was a little painful but not that strong for his muscles.
"No I will not leave you" I ducked a kick, this guy has good fighting skills and he still has not used a jutsu.
"Go" I spoke again he made me slide to the left before heading towards her, I was so quick at making my whip now I moved to wrap it around him, luckily I got wrapped around his right leg and made him trip slightly and pause.
She ran right at him and moved to punch him in the face but he easily dodged, his hand moved and slammed her right in the chest as a small light flashed between them and she went flying away.
I moved to catch her, she was slightly out of it as I put her down on a branch while not looking away from him, the man stood there flexing his hand "Med ninja with a decent punch, interesting" She grabbed her head as she tried to stand "You don't use it well just yet huh?"
I was startled, what did he just do to her?
She leaned on the trunk "it was like he pulled something from me" she flexed her hand "but I am fine now"
"I replicated it" he spoke with a cocky tone, "It is an ability of mine" for once I was glad the enemy spoke as he told me all about it, he can take the skill's of a ninja and use them.
I can't let him touch me like that or else he may be able to use sage mode.
I let him talk, Sakura was finally standing tall and it gave me a few minutes to think.
"I am curious about you however" I don't know why he was telling us all this but it helped me so who cares "what is that water fist thing?" He ran at me with no warning, I started to jump around like I was parkouring the trees as he chased me like a kids game of tag.
He cornered me and I ducked, the tree splintered and was partially destroyed making me move again, I gave a glance at Sakura who stood there looking like she was thinking, damn if she can hit that hard, that is fucking amazing.
Right, Tsunade is training her.
I used my whip as I slid away out of range again, snapping it as his feet and luckily I hit it as a small amount of blood came out, he looked at me like that was what he wanted.
He bent down and a green glow came from his hand as he healed himself "this is interesting, I never had a medical ninja before" I was unsure what to do, his chakra was still hidden, I was an up close fighter and I cannot let him touch me.
If he get's sage mode we are doomed and still Sakura is not going for help.
But then she ran into the forest I watched her chakra circle us. He was on me again as he moved to kick and I dodged his foot coming down and breaking the branch into splinters as I just ran again.
Then from three points Kunai and paper bombs flew towards him, I smiled as I got space. What is weird however, he was slower then before as he used the log jutsu and I don't understand but I love it.
"So how does it work?" I asked him, wondering if he will tell me again as he appeared across from me.
He looked at me cocky, like I will never beat him even if tells me "that was not a very sneaky question" he came at me again but I used my whip snapping at his feet, he jumped into the air coming down on me as I turned it into a spiky shield as his foot landed on it.
He could not touch me making me smile as it cut into his shin deeply and when he moved to push off of it for space, into his left foot.
He moved a few tree's away bleeding like crazy and moved to heal himself "okay, now I want you" he spoke, I did not want to let him heal so I tossed a smoke bomb at him as it exploded on the branch.
I can't see his chakra but I can smell his blood, thinning my water over most of my arms will shorten the distance but wont let him touch me as I moved in fast, he was slower so I started to land some hits making him bleed more and I was able to follow him as he tried to get out but I tossed another bomb at where he was headed.
I guess he sucks when he can't see as I punched his back hard and cut into him again, I could feel him spin with the hand shoved into his back making me get space again as I jumped out of the smoke and he followed, I continued to stay away from him.
He was glaring at me, small bits of blood all over him.
He paused to heal again but Sakura got it that time with more Kunai, does she not know one jutsu that is not medical? It made him dodge but stopped him from healing.
She must be a good healer.
I was able to catch some breath when he was suddenly behind me, my eye's grew big as his hand came towards my back I could almost feel the spark as I poofed and traded with a log a few feet away.
The fact I was gone he turned to Sakura making me run at him again as we got into a fight where none our fists could touch each other when he sped up again, I think he dropped Sakura from his system making him faster then me again.
I was sad all the deep cut's I made did not seem to bother him.
It was like we were doing a slow dance down a large tree branch as I slowly backed up making sure he did not touch me. Sakura again was just standing there looking like she was thinking.
Maybe she will come up with something good.
I moved my water into a shield again blocking him as he tried to get behind me again. I was able to keep his fists away and not touch me and he backed off slightly as it would hurt him.
We stood across from each other a few branches away letting me breath again. Sakura slightly behind me a few branches away also.
He was massively fast again, I could not block it as his hand touched my lower back and I could feel it invade me, it was like he pulled my insides out and I was slightly out of it as I fell to the ground below.
It was a painful landing into the grass, it took a second as I tried to lift myself up. I got on my knees trying to see but I think Sakura was yelling something, I need to save her she can't fight him.
I looked behind me where she stood with her back to me, grabbing my head I stood up when I noticed she was just standing there on the grass.
Walking up beside her I leaned on her with a big ass smile "well shit" I said.
"How?" she said quietly.
There was the man in a strange position his fist sticking up in the air as he was stone, I guess he also fell the second he tried to pull whatever it was out of me, his right leg was smashed into stone pieces as he must of landed on it.
"Well I'll be, wish I knew that" I said again.
She spoke "that would have been easier" I nodded and lightly kicked the statue, she also then lightly kicked the statue to make sure he was fully stone.
I just sat down, I was still slightly dizzy "Give me a second and we can go" she nodded and sat next to me before asking me some questions about how he turned to stone, I told her I would tell her later.
We went back to grab the plant we came for, both the other two were long gone, the staff guy must have taken his friend and ran, we picked as much as we found and headed back to the others.
I tried to find what Ishigakure looked like as it was mixed with Iwagakure and all I found was what I wrote and then just made shit up, if I am wrong I am sorry.
