Walking on the top of the river we came to a giant cliff side where a large waterfall crashed into river from massive heights.
Heading right to it we needed to pass through. I used a shield and blocked a bit so they could walk by without getting wet, Asuma had to duck. Walking down a part of a cave I could see a light at the end of the small tunnel when we came into a large lake but the most beautiful tree sat in the middle of it. The biggest tree I have ever seen in my life.
I thought where we were before was amazing but this was so beautiful, the air was warm and humid. Looking up the leaves let some light into the area as we walked forward giving it a magical vibe, there was a feeling here along the lines of the rest of the area but stronger, if this is the chakra water I fully understand.
Walking next to the water I just looked out towards the tree before looking forward, we headed towards a small village along the lakes side, we came closer and I saw a familiar style in buildings, they were very old and red, behind them was a thick green forest of normal sized tree's.
There was a young male teen running right for us, I was nervous here but this kids smile removed it, he was a cute brown haired boy as he ran around us with happiness "what are you here for?" he asked as he slid on the water beside us.
"We are hear to talk to your village head" he nodded and ran away with speed as we continued to walk.
The noises picked up, so much laughter and kids running by us we walked to the open town, a few older women carrying baskets of food moved down some paths into the forest, a few old men sitting on the lake smoking pipes.
The atmosphere here was joyful and peaceful.
We then got noticed as many people looked our way, I held my breath waiting for the unwelcome glares but all they did was smile, wave or ignore us before going back to what they were doing like we lived here ourselves making a big smile cross my face.
We continued to walk along the path and then across a very long bridge where the river got lost into the trees, there was a few people seemingly collecting water one saw us and waved "They may think we are here to buy this water" Asuma spoke with a smile, I stayed quiet but waved back at them when one gave a whistle noise making me give a small giggle and waved 'no'
There outside a small home was this teenage boy sitting all alone with long black hair staring into the water, Asuma paused his smoke changing direction and with a smile headed his way.
Pausing a bit away the kid still has not noticed us "Shibuki" the kid almost jumped into the air as he spun towards us his dark eyes filled with fear that it almost me jump myself before a smile crossed my face at the silliness of it.
He looked at us over with his hand on his heart before he dropped it "Leaf village" he looked over at Asuma "I know you" he pointed trying to remember him personally, making Asuma smile more and nod.
"Is this the leader" Tenten whispered into my ear "he is so young" I just looked him over, he seemed kind but like a small noise could break him.
"I am twenty" he looked at Tenten slightly afraid of her as Asuma reached in his own scroll pulling out the second made one for the village in the waterfall and then dug into that one, Shibuki looked around and waved us towards the nearby home.
We moved up a small hill, it had a few small balcony's along with a decent porch with the same big red roof. There was two big paper doors as we walked into an open room. A small mat on the far side surrounded by small bookshelves and a lamp. He did not have to much in this main room and no table.
I smiled at the humbleness of this kid.
There was more rooms to this building but I doubt we are getting a tour.
I think this is his office space.
Asuma pulled out the two scrolls taken from here the kid took them as he sat down and waved for us to sit with him, I watched as they all sat on there knees separately making me sit on my knees next to Tenten , they all looked at me confused making me nervous as I looked at Asuma for help.
He gave a small head nod to sit next to Shika and behind Ino making me noticed they sat in a square.
So I moved before looking at Shibuki who seemed slightly amused.
Shibuki then took them and looked at them, he scanned one page and then opened the second "ah Fu" I heard unsure if he was swearing "well thanks for bringing them back" he then looked around awkwardly but Asuma read it also, we stood up bowed and left walking back towards the town.
"We will stay here tonight" I was happy to hear that.
"Can we swim?" I asked, the water was beautiful.
"Best to not do that" I nodded "you can walk on it, that is not offensive but I am unsure if swimming from strangers is welcome here or even if it safe"
We came back to the bustle of village life and headed to an older small building, there was a small room next to the thinnest steepest stairs and one room beside it with its door shut, an inn? We got three rooms and I guess that was all the rooms, the boy's will take the one down here and we will take the two up top and we were free to explore.
The small room had two tiny mats as the door opened to the other and we could see into each room "I am going to check this place out" I spoke as I waited in the hallway between the rooms wondering if someone was going to follow me.
"Sakura and I will be training" I saw them placing down scrolls making me nod and look at Tenten who seemed to lie down, maybe I will check with Asuma if I can go alone or he will join me. I saw their chakra was outside so I moved towards them, they sat there playing Shoji along the lakes edge, looking at them I know I wont make one of them move so I guess I will just hang around.
I just watched.
This game was more boring watching then playing, I know it is a game for smart people so probably why.
Standing up I just casually looked around as I stayed in view, checking out the life here I noticed even for a hidden village there was no real ninja outfit, they all had there own style and it was pretty normal.
Moving to the edge of the lake I peered in. The water was so clear, I glanced a Asuma and just started to walk over the calmest waters.
I could see the bottom but I am sure it is deeper then it looks I could see so many wildlife inside it when a few fish started to circle around my feet as if saying hello. I wonder if the fish in this water makes them different, I could not hold back the smile on my face.
I could feel a fast person land behind me as I looked back at the cutest girl? "the fish here are amazing are they not" she shoved her hand into the water as to pet them and they responded and let her making me want to do it also but that may be rude.
She looked up at me her short cute green hair held back by a pin made me almost sure this one was a female.
She wore a cute white outfit with mesh but her chest was so flat that it did not help my confusion but I liked the way she wore her symbol on her right arm.
"So amazing" I smiled at this carefree looking girl.
"Leaf ninja's are my favorite" she spoke as she stood up "Most of you are so kind" I smiled feeling pride for my village, my village. "Have you been here before, I feel I would have noticed someone so pretty" she looked at me hair "you are as distinctive as me" that made me laugh with delight, I can not even tell how old she is.
"No, do you have any food that is only here?"
She gave a pretty and happy smile "let's see what I can do" she grabbed my hand and dragged me back towards the shore, I glanced at Asuma who was watching me before he gave me a nod saying it was okay.
We were not to far away as she brought me to a small shop with no seat's never dropping my hand, if I stood back slightly I could still see Asuma as she ordered some food, I did notice there was something in the air between these her and the cook, making me check her over.
It is like Naruto as a cute green haired girl.
Coming to the conclusion but to afraid to search the chakra any deeper.
The food was placed and she shoved a few sticks of strange looking balls and a pack of something that looked like fries before she grabbed one and turned to walk away "I can show you my town" she spoke as she walked quickly and started to point things out to me, I followed and snacked.
It was a nice hour or so with this person, when I tried to go back to my team she seemed sad and tried to interest me in more things and that worked about three times before it was getting late and I really had to go find Asuma.
"Thank you" I spoke as I turned to walk off but again she looked sad "I will be here tomorrow morning" I spoke not wanting to see that frown and that perked her up as she jumped and followed me slightly.
"Ya I will show you more things"
"I would love that" I smiled as she stopped walking "see you tomorrow"
I just moved fast but Asuma and Shika still sat on the lake edge just casually lying there, I guess he is not afraid for me here.
I moved to lay next to them, she was cute and fun but very excited so I embraced this quiet.
Shit what was her name.
"How was your day?" Asuma asked
"I spent the day with Naruto and ate a lot, man this village is so fucking pretty"
Asuma chuckled.
"She is coming to get me in the morning"
I felt a poke making me sit up startled and looked over at the Girl inches from my face, the sun was not even up yet, She grabbed my hand and pulled me away towards the stairs "umm" I yawned "it is so early" she just smiled at me and faced forward "got coffee?"
She looked back sadly as she pulled me out the door "Okay we can get you coffee"
I just followed with my hand in her's.
The coffee shop was open even at this time but it may be later as we are hidden under the leaves of tree's and can't see the sky perfectly.
I sipped it with my free hand and we started to run across the water, the lake was so big I know Asuma would not find me easy.
Should I ask to turn back?
Landing on the land of the tree I could feel it in my feet the small change from normal ground, why am I here, this must be some kind of sacred place, is this wrong?
She sat onto a big root patting beside her so I sat down next to her and enjoyed my coffee.
"I come here almost every morning" she seemed to be waiting for something.
We actually sat quietly, she is such a talker.
After a few minute's sun started to shine through the tree's making the water sparkle but it brought shinny fish to the surface as they started to jump into the ray's of light making there own sparkle and the jumping fish brought many pretty big blue birds as they tried to catch the jumping fish.
It was so fucking beautiful I almost forgot I had a coffee.
She sighed with peace. "It is nice to bring a friend" she looked my way "what is your name?" she asked blankly making me smile as I felt it was far to long to ask.
"Ava" I looked at her curious.
"Fu" she spoke before watching the birds.
Hmm it was that noise he made, the scroll was about her. I just turned from staring at her to the fish "thanks for showing me"
She did not leave me alone for the rest of the time we were here but I did not mind and at one point we stalked the leader guy Shibuki and then scared him, he jumped so high, man that guy is so easy to startle she just laughed and he let her go, I guess she does this a lot.
The second she found out we were leaving she pulled me into a hug and would not let go, I liked her like I liked Naruto and also a little sad I probably wont see her again. I had a lot of fun with her.
"Well I have a new friend" I spoke as I hugged her back "we will always be friends" I don't think she makes a lot of friends by the way she embraced me but she grabbed me harder before letting me go and I joined my team.
Next is a long ass run, Kumogakure: village hidden in the clouds, in the Land of Lightning. This will be around a month long run maybe more and I was sad to leave the waterfall village and its pure peace knowing we are not wanted in the last two villages, the land of mist brought so much worry in my heart.
"We will head north and then skip the land of sound all together, everyone there will fight us and it will be faster to take a boat"
"But if we run through it we may find Sakuke" Sakura yelled trying to persuade him Ino on her side.
I looked at Tenten who stood next to me and noticed we were in three groups and also standing next to each other. Asuma and Shika want's to avoid the area and Tenten and I don't really care.
"I highly doubt we will find him and I am sure even if we did he would just run the other way" I mumbled to Tenten but they all seemed to hear the girls looking at me like I just insulted them deeply but Asuma smiled at me like he wanted to say that himself.
"He would not run from me, I am the love of his life" Sakura yelled at me.
"Your's, he was never yours billboard brow"
"Oh god" Tenten started to rub her head.
I sighed "I side with Asuma and let's just skip the whole area" I spoke up making it two to three.
Tenten raised her hand "if finding Sasuke causes a fight, I also agree to skip it"
The two girls pouted while glaring at me.
So we headed north to find a shipyard along the ocean.
The massive assorted weapons were scattered everywhere and I had many small cut's as I tried to dodge them all without water.
"The skill you have with a moving target and so many items is amazing" I spoke making Tenten smile at me with pride "I mean you can throw weapons of different weights at the same time and still almost hit me"
"Can we stop yet" Ino yelled as her and Sakura were doing pushups.
Tenten stuck her hand on her waist "this is what we do" she spun a kunai in her hand "deal with it"
"urg" Ino cried as they were doing this for so long.
Tenten leaned into me "I wonder what we could say and what they will do" making me hold back a laugh.
"I wish Guy was here" I chuckled "get them into the green suits"
"That would have been amazing"
"Okay training time is over, we need to continue on" Asuma spoke making Ino and Sakura drop to the ground with a noise of relief.
The area was here was pretty open fields and with the cold wind coming from the north ocean making the temperature drop.
The land turned from fields to broken mess of rock as we ran, many chasm like there had been a huge earthquake that left this area scarred.
It was not long until we heard a light noise of music over the air and out of curiosity we headed that way. Standing on the top of a tall cliff and just outside of a town was a big party, music playing as fancy dressed people moved around or ate massive amounts of food "oh a wedding how sweet" Ino spoke as she sat down and just watched making me look for the bride.
I think I found them as one women was more fancy then the rest, she did not wear white like in my world but wore a colorful and beautiful kimono as she spun around with I am assuming her husband with so much joy.
"I never seen a wedding here before" I sat down next to Ino.
"I can't wait to get married" Ino spoke with wistfulness.
"Mine will be so grand" Sakura spoke as she sat down on my other side "I will wear a beautiful blue dress under the Sakura blossoms because of my name" she was lost in a trance "Sasuke on my arms" that part almost started a fight as I held them back both and then got them distracted by the wedding again.
"What about you Ava? Ino asked "what will yours be like?"
"Never thought about it" they looked at me startled "I believe I will never get married" turning there confusion to sadness making me sigh and wave them off "did not mean it like that"
"What about you Asuma sensei" they looked up at him as he stood there, I also looked up curious.
"One day" he spoke in a way making me smile so big, he wants to merry Kure, so sweet "how about we stop here for the night" We walked passed the wedding at a long range but we got some waves from the wedding, they did not care a bunch of dirty ninja passed by, I found it so interesting how this is also a thing in both our worlds.
Walking in town there was many people not at the wedding, it was a pretty decent sized village.
The Inn sat on top of a high and steep stone walkway, sitting on top old and warn down but beautifully built. Walking in there was no one at the desk but I could feel a small chakra somewhere on the second or third floor above us. We just waited as I stared at it waiting for this person to notice us Ino moved and rung a small bell a few times but it did not work.
She was stewing by the time an old man came down a thick and impressive set of stairs "oh, pardon me, I never get people" he walked slowly towards the desk, the longer it took the more blank the three girls looked, there faces dropped making me hold back a laugh "it is nice to see people wanting a room" he paused and looked us over as he shifted his glasses "leaf ninja's, so many is there a party?" he then continued to walk.
"I have a perfect room for so many" he started to slowly turn some papers, we were all getting a little impatient.
He finally signed us in and gave us a key for the second floor, we slowly walked up and came to a big room, there was four small one person beds a large couch and a couple chairs around a small fire it was really quite cute but due to the fact it took him so long to just give us this one room no one wanted to go down and get another, we will just make due.
Come morning I woke up on the couch to the sound of heavy rain as I looked up before snuggling in with a sigh, I looked around the room as all the kids were passed out in there own beds and then at a sleeping Asuma who was on the floor lying on the cushions of the chairs and his blanket. Slowly standing up I moved towards the bathroom, it was outside and one bathroom for floor.
This place had so many dark corners and this floor seemed to hold three more bedrooms, it is a very big place for no people, maybe once it was needed.
Walking down a hallway that had a rail on one side that looked into a dinning room below.
The bathroom was big and nice one thin shower and two nice sinks, I washed my face after and headed back passing a book shelf I peered at a few until I remembered its a dark rainy morning and everyone was sleeping. I just laid on the couch snuggled in my blanket waiting for others to wake up.
I just watched the old man move around down below, he hung around in the same place for a while before he started to head up the stairs, so fucking slowly.
Wondering if maybe I can help I snuck out again and moved to greet him, I looked at him kindly as he held a big tray of assorted food and a small hot teapot, I moved to help him "I did not have much for you" he handed it to me so I took it as he grabbed the railing looking tired.
"Thank you"
He nodded.
It was a slow morning but once we noticed how freaking cold it was in the rain we will just spend the time here until it stops and that made the day even longer, Tenten took my scroll of paralyze as she tried to make her own, Shika loved life and Asuma sat on the couch reading a book.
I was yawing as I lied on my chest on the bed watching Ino and Sakura do some kind of healing training on a big and strange looking scroll, wanting to ask questions but not distract them.
When I felt familiar chakra nearby making me sit up and stare at the window, the heavy rain splashing loudly on it.
I kicked my feet over "really?" Asuma looked up from a book in the far corner the only one to hear me.
I looked his way with a smile of disbelief, I mean where are we even.
I watched them walk up the stairs without waiting for the old man, they must already have a room.
I stuck my tongue to be lightly bit by my teeth and stood up sneaking out the door, I hid in a dark corner and watched as they moved to there own room, the four of them looked dirty, wet and badass as they walked by.
Asuma peeked out of our room after they went inside and moved to follow me, I snuck lightly towards there door and listened in.
"We need to figure out the path and soon" Kiyo spoke slightly annoyed.
"But it's a dreadful out there" Anzu spoke as I saw her chakra slide towards what I assume was a bed.
"So cold, who even comes to this area, why is he passing here?" Maiko spoke sitting next to Anzu. I just smiled at Asuma as he pressed his ear to the door also completely understanding we were stalking these people, unsure if he knows them well or not.
I watched Kuro shift around the room still not talking.
I slid my hand towards the door handle as Asuma stepped back, smirking at him I swung the door open startling them all and dodged a Kunai.
A big smile on my face as they recognized me.
I leaned on the frame as they looked at me confused and then at Asuma who stood behind me nodding his head in a friendly manor "You all need to talk a little more carefully" I spoke with so much confidence.
I was then pulled into a strange hug with Anzu and Kiyo as Kuro stepped closer making me slightly wet a small smirk on his face "what are you doing here?" he asked.
I just shrugged as they backed off "secret mission"
Maiko stood up and moved towards us "is your mission time sensitive?" he asked looking like he had an idea Asuma shook his head no. "How many of you are there?" that was when it clicked in the rest of there heads making Kuro's smirk get bigger.
"Six"
He crossed his arms with the biggest smile "perfect"
We ran in the cold wet rain as I tried to wrap my cardigan around me "why make us do this" I mumbled to Kuro.
They have been trying to find a very powerful man, he was in the area last seen but there was only five way's his large caravan could go and Anzu spoke of fate that we had the perfect number of people, Kiyo went with Tenten, Sakura with Anzu, Ino and Miako and Shika and Asuma as we will take every way out.
They only had so long before he could possibly leave and once he found his way out unsure of his next move, they may have a worse time finding him.
They did not really explain why they were after him but it was their mission so why question.
Well I am turning into an ask no questions solider huh?
Jumping on the top of a tall stone I could see the path we will be guarding, he stood there looking fine, his shirt pressed to his arms but not even looking slightly cold.
"We need to find a hidden place to watch" he spoke.
Landing on the thin natural stone bridge that moved over a gorge before it moved into a partial forest with small tree's down a rocky semi steep hill.
We moved towards some tree's when I spotted something perfect "ooo" I ran towards the half broken door and slid inside the tiniest wooden home. He walked in behind me as I sat on the small bed taking up the whole left area of the small shed, bouncing on it, it did not move and was rock hard but I smiled up at him "this will be good" I shifted pulling out my blanket and wrapping me in it "so good"
He just shook his head before trying to shut the door as it was half off the hinges "well glad I am with you, we don't need to watch with our eyes"
I nodded and pulled it away saying 'get in here' so he smirked and joined me as my arm wrapped around him and we got comfortable in the warmth even if we were still wet but ditching our clothes might make this weird.
"So where are you going?" he asked.
I was so excited to be able to say this "confidential" he just rolled his eye's at me and lied back making me fall back to not lose the warmth, our legs off the side of the bed we just laid there. "So this man, powerful ninja or powerful person"
"Both" I nodded sliding closer, I always feel so calm around this guy.
Slightly sitting up I looked around, there was a small fireplace next to a small table and that was it "what was this place for?" It was not made to live forever in that was for sure.
He just made a noise and did not answer, maybe he does not know.
I just boosted my senses, closed my eye's and laid next to Kuro we were there for a while when I felt something making me sit up fast "A chunin sized chakra is moving across the bridge but alone" he stood up and looked out the half destroyed door, however it did not face the bridge and was slightly off the path.
"He has a caravan and few guards"
"Nope then, it is just him" I stood up and peeked from behind him but I could see nothing but a rock and a tree from here.
The man moved farther down the path before pausing and then just moving around slowly when Kuro turned and shoved me into the bed "well that was hot" I joked he seemed to ignore me as paused again before he tossed the blanket over half of me and ditched his vest and ninja symbol under the blanket before he came under it himself with me and grabbed me into a cuddle as the mans chakra came towards us.
It then clicked.
So I cuddled back, this was not the first time he used fake romance to hide the truth.
I could feel the man was next to the cabin so I pulled Kuro's face towards mine but I did not kiss him, the man seemed to not be moving watching us from the small dusty window as I rubbed the side of his hair and looked into the eye's looking in mine, I could see the humor in it, this was not sexy to him it was hilarious making me smile and hold back a laugh.
He asked a question in his eye's I shook my head, the creep is still watching. I then had an idea so I smirked at him and shrugged off my vest. Sitting up fast using the blanket to cover my clothes like I was naked "did you hear that?" It made the creep step back a few paces.
He sat up and put his head on my shoulder "it is nothing babe, I am sure its just a bear"
"We should have gone to a warmer climate for our honeymoon" he gave a 'wtf' noise.
"But you know I lost my job, don't start this fight tonight" he huffed flopping onto his back the man seemed to start moving away and once I knew he was far enough I started to laugh quietly.
He sat next to me with a small amused smirk making me grab him in a side hug "that was fun, you are a strangely good actor" as I pulled his head protector from under my ass and handed it to him.
"He was obviously scouting the best path" he spoke.
I nodded.
"If we fought him it would alert the target"
I nodded as I handed him his vest "no, I understand"
"He would know people were waiting"
I nodded "I understand, mr strangely talkative" He then got quiet as he put his wet things back on "got to say the man handling was very nice" I joked making him actually lightly laugh and put his hands in his hands with a chuckle "so there is a chance they will come this way?"
He looked at me with a nod.
"Should I get Alaska with a note incase they do come this way and she can alert the others?" He stared at me like I was doing something strange again, I sighed "what is wrong with that idea?"
"Nothing, it was smart" he pulled out some paper and I got to getting Alaska.
She was to move into the forest and if the caravan comes this way she will hunt down the groups. She can not speak but my team knows Alaska and should not be afraid of her, I tossed her some food before she moved to hide.
We then set up some traps, one paralyze seal below the window in case he comes back to watch. One log trap that would knock someone off the road over a cliff and a few paper bombs scattered around the area in random places waiting to be trapped, this man has at least four decent ninja's with him and is supposed to be a strong one himself so we need surprise.
We then took two different spots.
I was clinging to the side of the cliff under the bridge, it at least blocked some rain and because the wind was coming from the north I could not feel it. My whip in one hand as I could see Kuro in the tree line in the center of all of our paper bomb traps.
Sitting like this was so uncomfortable so it felt like ages when I saw the chakra's again and I was so happy to see four strong chakra's and one very strong one, there was also two low on chakra people.
Fuck.
A wolf howled from the forest making me smile, thank you Alaska.
They started to cross the bridge as I got ready, the strong man was in the middle between all four but one veered off, the creep who seemed to be going back to the cabin, I moved running up the side using my whip I grabbed the man at the back into my whip.
I got a good look, it was not a caravan but more like something princes ride in medieval movies but with wheels.
All I could think was what a douchebag as I pulled the man off the bridge and he went flying into the abyss alerting the others. But jumping back the man on my side at the front triggered a log trap as It headed right for the caravan, bashing into it's side the strong man moving to save himself as the big object also flew off the side into the abyss, all there belongings gone.
He set that up perfectly.
At that moment I saw the fourth man pause at the window and Kuro was tossing two big Shurriken at the two guards left as I ran under the bridge and up the other side, wrapping one up and throwing him away, sadly this direction he could save himself and I moved on top of the bridge ducking from something and then running to Kuro. He was high in the tree's as I slid below him three people on my tail.
I dodged some Kunai as one tossed an umbrella into the air strangely, I moved in a position as one of the small chakra people walked right into a paper bomb trap, making them all go off around us but again we planned for that so we stood still to not get hit. It made one jump back but the umbrella man got slightly hurt as he was in the middle of a jutsu.
I watched them spin open and a ton of something came at us from the spinning umbrella's, Kuro landed next to me blocking some more weapons with his swords as I used my shield to block what I now know as Senbon from above us, like always I don't block them to well but they stop moving half into my shield as I worried there may be poison and was glad to see not one hit either of us.
That was when this main man's arm was headed for me, grasped in a large hand as it wrapped around me, he was like fucking Elastigirl, he was still far from us as I started to fly to him, passing the two men I used my water to attack his fingers as Kuro's flaming swords came down on his arm making him let me go but I was still moving at a high speed so I was thrown off the cliff.
That is karma.
But I used my whip grabbing onto a root of a tree and spun myself back up into the air as Kuro seemed to be dodging three as stretchy man again reached out for him. I tossed a handful of Kunai at the two weak ones, one dodged but the other did not see me as they landed into his back, he stepped back looking my way shocked as my feet landed back on the top of the bridge and he fell off the side.
That made the main guy look my way again giving Kuro an opening to the last man standing, I was glad he was looking at me startled as he tried to block one sword in time but not the other as he fell over without a leg, his burning swords cauterized his missing limb.
The main guy looked at his last teammate like he had the worst guards in the world as the creep from the window started to move.
Main man did some fast hand signs and suddenly I could not move.
I could feel his chakra on every part of me holding me still, I could see Kuro also could not move.
I pushed my own chakra on his, trying to break it and he started to laugh "that was quite the ambush but you are no match for me" he looked my way "you ugly whore and your" he looked at Kuro before he laughed as the creep landed beside him looking startled.
The man looked at him "and you" making him step back "you failed me" a few more hands signs and he knocked his frozen comrade off the cliff himself.
The man was taking his time as he found this moment so amusing but I welcomed it as I tried different things to get out of this. He walked towards me and started to circle me I saw from the corner of my eye his foot moving up to kick me off the bridge along with his men but I smiled inside as the dark shadow grasped at his ankles and he froze too.
Shika and Asuma. Fuck yes.
He yelled trying to break free but he needed to focus his chakra so whatever held us was broken as I moved down the bridge next to Kuro as Asuma stood next to Shika, we watched as his shadow was being overpowered and Asuma ran in slicing with his knuckle weapons but the mans skin moved around it and it did not cut.
"He has a streching ability" I yelled making Asuma understand and I worried a little. We can't cut him? But we are all close up fighters.
Curious I also ran in as the shadows were getting closer to his feet using my water as sharp as I could I watched him stretch around it as Kuro slashed at his legs but again, he streched around it and then Shika's shadow was dropped.
He was laughing again as we stood on the top and bottom of the bridge.
Kuro slid his swords away and I remembered that very bad day, I fought a man like this for a few seconds once "fire might burn him" Kuro then quickly shot one towards the man but he just jumped into the air high to avoid it, I mind fucked him as he fell and jumped to kick him in the side but he used Kai before blocking my kick but softness of his arm, I could not even shove him to the side as he wrapped around me again.
I could feel strange parts of him grab some very privet places making me get real angry. I moved my water trying to cut him before I was again flying over the cliff side, even farther away then last time.
Sighing I tied wire to my Kunai as I flew into the open foggy abyss when I could hear a female call my name, Tossing the kunai to the side of the cliff I looked up at Sakura and Anzu who stood at the top, It landed as I flew towards the cliff side, I crashed into the rock with my feet before running back up landing next to the girls.
We watched from this point as they tried to hurt him even a little as I explained when he started to do the hand signs again to freeze, unsure how much he could freeze at once I yelled and I jumped towards them below us tossing a smoke bomb at his feet hoping to disrupt his attack.
Kuro and Asuma jumped away getting space as I landed beside him and tried to trip him but he kicked me away as I went rolling towards Kuro and then got frozen again.
I was in the worst position, my ass in the air my hands pressed under my boobs and my face buried in the dirt. I heard a small chuckle as I watched chakra, Kuro and Asuma avoided it, it may be a specific area around him that he can hit. I could not see well as there chakras moved around him, Sakura and Anzu now in the fight, I could not see what they were doing when I was grabbed around my waist by Kuro and moved away.
He brought me to the cabin and plopped me on the bed, I could not speak "nice ass" he joked before he left me here as I laughed inside and felt so ashamed at the same time. Anzu was then behind me "he is quiet accurate" she spoke as I felt her hands run me over, I could slowly feel it leave me, I know she was a good med nin, even if she deals with the dead more.
I was able to adjust myself finally as I spun and sat looking up at her "thanks" I smiled "that was unpleasant" We took a second and then ran to join the others but it was over, Kiyo and Tenten were here, I saw strechy's head rolling away.
Asuma was in a stance blocking his body as he stood up and it fell down while Kiyo was obviously the one to do it as he stood up with his back to Asuma, black markings on his face as they faded. It was the two of them that did it.
I just paused "Sometimes fate is wonderful" Anzu spoke "sometimes" not long after the last group got here, Ino and Maiko.
I then started to notice the rain and cold again we all were going to head back to the inn even if it was about a twenty minute run from here. The day became late as the group of us moved to the local restaurant, dirty, scary and soaked to the bone we took the whole small place up. They looked at us worried at first but took our orders anyway.
We were loud but ordered so much, since the place was small we just talked to each other from other tables.
"Well our mission is now over" Maiko spoke leaning back in his chair, the front corners off the ground as he balanced "thanks for the help"
"I need a long warm shower" Sakura spoke up but I think we all agreed to that.
"There is whole number of three bathrooms at the inn" I said.
Kiyo spoke up "I call dibs" he got a few glares.
