Jo,
I finally finished my SOI training and am currently stationed in San Diego but that could change…any day. I'm nervous if I'm trained enough, if I can handle being away from you.
I miss you, Josephine. I know after what happened when Dawson found out about us, I had planned to take the True Love out for the summer but three months pales in comparison to four years and being able to see and touch your angelic face will keep me up at night. I promise if and when I'm deployed, I will take every precaution I can to stay safe for you.
I love you Josephine Potter, I have for a long time. Thank you for giving me a chance.
Love,
PVT Pacey J. Witter
Reading and rereading the words Joey felt tears pool in her eyes. As much as she despised hearing her full name she loved when he said it with the playful twang, he only seemed to save for her.
She wished she had a time machine so she could go back to the regatta, and she could push Dawson in the water before he could tell Pacey he wasn't worth it. Pacey had his moments when he acted like a ditzy goofball but the moments that surrounded those proved he was amazing. The way he selflessly bought her a wall after her mural was vandalized or how he took so much time to help fix up their house to turn it into a bed and breakfast and then getting a noted critic out to jump start what he knew was her mothers dream.
Her heart ached to be in his arms again. They spent the brunt of his last few hours in Boston attached at the lips, only parting to get a few desperate loving words out before their lips attached again. They stayed that way until his plane was called for boarding. That was two months ago.
Sighing, she pulled out papers of her own.
Pace,
I love you so much. I wish you had taken the boat out instead of joining the military. Then I could have joined you and we could have sailed off to an amazing summer.
I think about you every day, Pace. You're always on my mind, fears, dreams, fantasies, nightmares. I've had them all since you left the first time. Don't let my nightmares come true. I don't have to tell them what they were but I'm sure you can guess. My dreams and fantasies you can know but on one condition. You come home. I will tell you every detail when you are here in front of me.
I love you Pacey. Come home safe to me.
Love your Josephine.

A week later Pacey received the letter through mail call. Reading through it his smile turned to a grin, his mind already counting the days until her was in front of his brunette beauty once more.
Read and review…if you want more. Two in one day woohoo. Hoping this gives me a bit more time to write. I have an interview Tuesday, pray I get it. Once I have a more stable job then writing and putting up updates will be so much easier.
