Come Home to Us, Randy: {Chapter 9: Part 2}

Come on in, then; Betsy said pleasantly as she opened the front door. It sure is neat lookin', Betsy; Randy said. When The Virginian and the boys have work to do up here,

this is where some of them stay; Betsy said. How often do ya' come up here, Betsy?; Randy asked her. As often as I can, Randy; Betsy replied. I love coming here

because it's so peaceful and quiet up here, Randy; Betsy said. I was up here last year about this time; she added. It sure looked peaceful when we rode in,

Betsy; Randy replied. It is most times, Randy, but we try never to come up here in the winter-time because of the snow storms; Betsy added. If you're ready,

I'll show you the other spot that's here and we'll eat lunch, Randy; Betsy added. I'm ready now, Betsy; Randy replied. Alright, Randy; Betsy said

as they left the cabin. It's just through these trees; Betsy said as she led the way to a secluded spot where a small, laughing stream was.

My daddy and I had picnics here a lot when I was little; Betsy said as she set the basket down on a log.

It's pretty, is'nt it, Randy?; Betsy asked as she opened the basket and took out the sandwiches she'd made.

It sure is, Betsy; Randy replied as she handed him a sandwich. Reminds me of our little stream back home; Randy added.

Thanks, Betsy; Randy said. You're welcome; Betsy replied, smiling at him lovingly. And receiving a warm smile from Randy

in return. And all of a sudden, Betsy knew that all would be well and Randy would come home to them.

{ Sorry for the long wait, everyone. I hope you are enjoying my story of how the characters on Shiloh became closer as a family after the near tragedy at the end of ''A Man Called Kane.''

The cabin that Betsy takes Randy to is the same one featured in Season 3, Episode Four, by the way. Hope you've enjoyed my ramblings.}
