Hey guys! I have a better idea of the plot so hopefully you like it!

Paul had no idea why he was currently pushing his heavy ass bike up the driveway of the bloodsu- Cullen's home. He didn't like vampires; his very existence was to literally destroy them. But he felt guilty, probably, for the way he had attacked Swan. Sure, he hadn't known they were coming back but even despite the way she'd held him off he could see the scar he'd put there glinting off her skin every time he'd looked at her last night.

Not that it'd been that many times.

A low whistle from the garage pulled him from his thoughts. "A 100th anniversary Road King? Man that bikes older than my little sister!" Came Emmett's appreciative commentary. The muscular one seemed to be the least annoying of the lot. If anyone'd ever asked Paul the ranking would be as follows: the muscle man, the doc, the soldier, the mom, the muscle man's lady, the pixie, the copper penny, and dead last as the single most annoying vampire he'd ever met in the last century would be Swan. Not that anyone asked. But if they did.

"She's a beauty, but I fucked up and let her rot while I was up north." Paul shot the brawny one – Emmett he mentally corrected, a satisfied grin as he rolled it to a stop in the middle of the workspace the vamp had cleared. "Thanks for letting me work on her here, man. I'll be honest she was in rough shape when I stopped ridding and now she just needs a total revival."

Em was already rubbing his hands together at the prospect of all the work to be done. "Well we can start by stripping her bare to get in there and clean and see what we're working wi—"

"Strip who bare?" Came his wife, Rose or some shit's, sharp response. Her voice was cold, and her eyes hard as she came into the room.

Her husband just chuckled and went around to sling an arm over her shoulder, hooking his elbow around the back of her neck to pull her closer for a kiss to the top of her head that seemed to instantly cause her to melt into him. "Baby, just the bike Paul brought."

Satisfied with that answer, Rosalie shoved off her husband still smiling. "Good. I'm going to give you time to play in here with your new dog, Em." At the word dog, Rosalie nodded towards Paul, who simply jerked his chin in acknowledgment. "Alice talked Bella and I into going shopping today anyway since she saw that spring will be here soon and we 'just cannot be seen in public in anything not this season'."

"You will thank me when we didn't wait and next week when we've got all the cute stuff, the girls at the high school and in Port Angeles will be scouring the shelves for so much as a cute pair of jeans. Trust me, I know." That was the pixie one, tapping her temple and nodding in agreement with herself as she suddenly appeared in the garage beside Rosalie.

To their credit, not a single one of them had commented on the stink of wet dog since he got here.

"Bella," Alice called softly, waiting for a moment before her gaze became unfocused.

Paul shifted his weight uncomfortably, watching her with his face contorted in confusion "Is she—" He started to ask, only to be shushed by the blonde woman beside her.

"She's seeing something." Was all the explanation he received before she snapped out of it as quickly as she had paused her speaking, tinkling laughter sounding from her. To Paul it was like someone had blown on a windchime right in his ear.

"Bella's going to meet us there." Was all she said before disappearing into the car. Paul was confused before Rosalie responded with a snicker. "It's about damn time. Maybe now they'll stop bickering." She said as she also got into the car.

At the exact same moment Emmett covered his ears and began shouting "la-la-la no god not my baby sister!"

Fresh irritation swallowed Paul whole suddenly and he had to clench his fists to calm his tremors. "Dude, too much information" Was all he said to the departing town car before he took the initiative to walk over and turn the stereo on the wall as loud as possible.

Emmett mouthed a silent thank you and the two began systemically taking apart Sherry, Paul's motorcycle.

It was nearly two hours later that Bella followed the sound of the loud music into the garage. Clad in the black velvet minidress Alice had left for her in her wardrobe which had been paired with thin black tights and once more platform Mary-Janes. Her hair was in big loose waves, slightly frizzy from her raunch in the sheets with her husband.

"Why do you have the music so damn loud Emm—" Bella cut her sentence short seeing Paul kneeling next to a motorcycle, at least that what she assumed it was given that it was currently laid out on the floor between him and her brother.

"Oh dear god it's over, blessed day!" Came Emmett's dramatic shout, Bella only rolled her eyes and walked over to turn the music down to a manageable volume. Paul had yet to even acknowledge she was there, she noted his look of concentration and decided to also ignore him.

"So dramatic for the man who made us all suffer through your 100th anniversary year." Bella sat on the bench to the side of the men, swinging her legs casually and watching them.

"Shouldn't you be, like, shopping?" Paul chose to finally speak with a crudely done impression of Alice. Bella scowled at him, annoyance evident in her every feature as she glared down at him.

"Whoopsies," She murmured as she kicked over whatever part was closest to her, the metal clattering on the hard garage floor. Emmett said nothing but watched with an amused expression on his face as he cleaned his own section of parts.

"Real mature, Swan. Honestly." Paul reached over and picked the piece of metal back up, only for Bella to kick another one, sending to flying across the garage.

"Gosh, I'd get that for you guys I really would, but I, like, totally have to be shopping right now." She spoke cheerily in the same too high voice Paul had tried to speak in, sliding off the work bench before turning to Emmet. Her mood 180'd and she smiled brightly at him, the bear of a man standing up to envelope her frame in a hug. "Aw Bella, you know I can't stay annoyed with my baby sister."

He went to kiss her head, only to pull back with a mock expression of disgust on his face "Dear god my baby sister reeks of sex. Get away from me."

A loud popping sound filled the air, followed by Paul swearing and trying to unbend whatever part he had in his hand.

Bella smiled warmly at her brother, turning on her heel and disappearing from the garage silently to head out for her fun-filled day of shopping.

She was replaced shortly after by Edward suddenly appearing sat on the same bench his wife had previously been perched on.

"Emmett, when you're done here why don't we go for a hunt? Dog." He greeted Paul who was standing now, wiping the grease from his hands and studying how far the pair had gotten.

"Bloodsucker." Paul simply retorted in answer, suddenly studying the parts scattered around the garage very intently. Emmett had been right, the pair reeked of one another, though Bella's scent of Edward was less so likely to whatever perfume she'd put on before leaving.

"Yeah, that's fine Paul mentioned he had patrol today anyway, so we are just about done for the day." Emmett and Paul nodded to one another, the werewolf ignoring the other party present as he took his leave.

Nearly three hours later he found himself towards the end of patrolling with Embry, one of the only other wolves who had decided not to stop shifting after all these years aside from Paul.

They ran in comfortable silence, which Paul appreciated since most of the youngsters always wanted to ask about what it had been like living this long. He never really had an answer when the conversation inevitably led to why he hadn't stopped shifting like the rest of their pack had. Paul's only honest answer didn't even make sense to himself; that he wasn't finished with his role and that there was something… unfinished. That he had no clue what the fuck that something was had only ever pissed him off when he thought about telling Sam he wanted to step down.

Dude, I can't even hear my own thoughts right now Embry thought to him through their bond.

Irritation flowed strongly from Paul's mental tether to Embry, causing the large wolf beside him to bark in what was laughter.

Then stay out or put up a wall, dude. Came Paul's dry response.

He couldn't help the little disappointment when he felt Embry do just that and a thin veil was between them suddenly. He was bored, patrolling the same woods every other week for a century wore down a man's ability to look forward to being a literal wolf who could kill mystical beings.

It's probably why he was seeking out so much conflict with Swan.

Bella? Really? I know we haven't had any action man but nevermind the vamp shit, she's basically our sister.

Paul didn't say anything, only veiled his own thoughts and shoulder-checked Embry as they ran, causing him to yelp and tumble head over feet several times before catching his stride and hauling ass to catch up with Paul, who was roaring with laughter mentally, the veil lowered so his partner could hear.

Jackass. Was all Embry shot back at the laughter echoing in the pack bond.

Embry caught up to Paul and tackled him, the pair scuffling playfully for a few minutes before Sam was suddenly part of the link.

Guys, are you almost done? Pack meeting in 20.

Yeah, no problem just kicking Embry's ass real fast we are done anyway. Embry howled in annoyance, and Paul launched himself heavily into his pack brother's side one last time before running the rest of the way to Sam's and getting dressed in his shorts to head inside for the meeting.

He swiped a sandwich from the tray Emily was carrying out, muttering a 'sorry', he moved further into the house and took a spot at the table while nodding to everyone already gathered.

Embry leaned against the doorframe to the open living/dining room since it was already very crowded.

"Alright everyone, thank you for coming." Sam said as he rose from where he had been sitting. "I know that yesterday was very interesting to some of you, as you've only ever encountered a stray nomad now and then from a distance. The Cullens, as I said before, are vegetarian, and pose no risk to our people or the people of forks. This is their 5th stay in this area, and the second of our older pack member's lifetimes."

The group began to murmur amongst themselves before one of the young men, Brian, raised a hand to speak.

"Why come back so soon? You said before it's usually 250 years before they are back. Why now?"

"That is true, however, on of our own has been imprinted to a hybrid since she was born nearly a century ago." Sam had mentioned here and there Jacob Black, however this was one of the few time's he'd ever mentioned Renesmee to the group.

Chatter erupted at full volume, many of them talking over one another to shout out questions.

"Hybrid? As in human and vampire?"

"I thought they were all Vamps where'd she come from?"

"Will she stay on the Rez? Didn't you say a Jacob Black was coming back to town?"

That question seemed to turn the chatter up a notch, before Paul stood up; slamming his hands on the solid wood table and shouting over everyone. "Shut the fuck up!"

The instantly silenced, unable to deny the power behind his command as Beta.

Sam nodded to Paul in thanks before continuing. "Renesme, as an imprint, is family. She is welcome to the treaty line but no further. Paul and I have built a home for the two of them in preparation for their stay just on the other side of the treaty line north of Paul's. Let me be clear. She is an imprint. Whatever feelings you think you'll have towards her as a vampire hybrid, I assure you, you will not. This is not her first visit, as Jacob has come and gone before visiting his homeland. You might be worried about your reaction, and it will be every bit as normal as all your reactions to Chris' imprint. She is your sister, your packmate, you will have the urge to protect her as you would any other imprint."

Paul nodded along with everything Sam said. Emily put a comforting hand on Sam's arm, who turned his head to smile warmly at her before once more speaking.

"As for the questions about how we will be meeting again with the Cullens in two week's time, when Jacob and his imprint arrive. You will be able to ask her, and her mother; Isabella Cullen."

Paul took another bite of his sandwich while simultaneously he felt a small stab of irritation run through him. Sure he was making a face, he reached up to rub his temple.

He chalked it up to the way the room was once more buzzing with indistinct chatter now that Sam had dismissed them all from the meeting.

"Was the lunch meat bad?" Emily's voice pulled his attention, and he shook his head looking at her confused.

"Not at all, I want 3 more." He grinned at her lopsidedly.

"You just looked like something didn't taste good just now." Was all Emily said before she disappeared into the kitchen to grab whatever mountains of food she had made for dessert.

Okay so I know there is one thing that was changed, that being that Imprints don't age as long as their wolfs are not aging either.

I love Emily as a character and I think she grounds not just Sam but all of the original Pack brothers.
