Phantom Fan 21 here, folks! I have decided to write my own chapter for Love a Stripper but this time covering a bit of Jazz and the twins. Unlike my friend, Swords, my chapters are mostly shorter than his. Usually around 2,000-3,000 words. But I'm sure he might make this longer, but I cover as much as I could think of.
So the twins took Jazz to their campus like they promised in Physical Activities but Jazz is still hurting from her parent's death, much like Danny. We always focus on Danny when it came to that, so I decided to show how Jazz is fairing against that pain and it's not as bad as Danny's, but she's also still hurting. I hope this does not ruin any ideas for you, Swords. You made a chapter for me a few years ago and I decided to return the favor. Feel free to add anything.
Hey guys Sword of Twilight here. This time, I can't take credit for this amazing chapter as it was all Phantom. I hope you all enjoy and don't forget to leave a review.
We do not own Danny Phantom.
Jazz attempted to contain her excitement as the twins finally brought her to their campus, fulfilling their promise. She glanced at the Dee Dees, taken aback by their casual attire, which contrasted with the more revealing clothes they usually wore. Nonetheless, she was eager to explore the campus they had so often described.
"It took them long enough, didn't it, Dee Dee?" Deila inquired.
"Definitely, it's about time, Dee Dee," Deirdre concurred.
"Why were you two expelled?" Jazz inquired, never having heard the entire story.
"We just sought a bit of amusement," Deirdre remarked with a sigh.
"We executed a few harmless tricks, and they summoned our mothers," Deila interjected, groaning.
"They assured us that if we vowed never to play pranks again, they would readmit us," the twins declared, sighing.
Jazz had to acknowledge that since their acquaintance, she had grown fond of them. They were, after all, the ones who had assisted her in deciphering her emotions towards Danny. They had always treated her akin to a sister. Jazz had conceded to herself that she had always desired a sister; not that Danny wasn't a wonderful brother whom she adored immensely, but at times, she yearned for a sisterly bond.
And they seemingly filled that grasp.
"What are you thinking about, little sis?" Deirdre asked.
"Just... how much you two have helped me. I mean, I've learned so many things from you. Besides sex, I mean," Jazz said, blushing.
"I always wanted a sister, and it saddened me that my parents couldn't try for another child. I love Danny, don't misunderstand, but I've longed for a sisterly bond. When Mom and Dad passed away..." Jazz's voice faded into silence.
Like Danny, the loss of her parents affected her deeply. She struggled with the fear of forgetting them, just as he did. Her heart ached with every memory of them. Although it was unfair for people to blame Danny, Jazz couldn't shake off the thought that maybe she could have done something to prevent their departure. She was startled to find a tissue offered to her, only then realizing that tears were streaming down her face.
"Hey, it's okay," Deila said, embracing her.
"Yeah. We're here for you," Deirdre added, joining the embrace.
Jazz smiled, relieved they understood.
"Wait, Dee Dee? Who's driving?" Jazz inquired, prompting the twins to glance at the steering wheel.
"SHIT!" They exclaimed, all three scrambling to seize the wheel and avert a collision.
"Please don't ever do that again," panted Jazz sinking her nails into the seat.
"Agreed," said the twins at the same time.
The Campus,
"This is your campus?! It's enormous!" exclaimed Jazz, astonished with big starry eyes.
"Meh," The twins shrugged nonchalantly.
They had seen it countless times making it no longer hold any wonders for them. Jazz was still gazing in awe when Deila and Deidre both pecked her on the cheek, jolting her back to reality.
"What was that for?" Jazz inquired, puzzled.
"You looked utterly starstruck," Delia replied with a smirk.
"Just needed to bring you back," chimed in Deirdre, planting a kiss on Jazz's other cheek.
"Are you girls hitting on me?" Jazz questioned, feeling an odd yet heartwarming sensation.
"Nope, we can wait until we're off campus," Deila remarked, adjusting her suit.
"Plus, the guys here are always trying to woo us. You're safer sticking close," added Deirdre.
Jazz wasn't entirely sure what they meant, but she nodded regardless. Together, they ascended the steps where the superintendent awaited them.
"Deila, Deirdre," He greeted them, his tone grave.
"Good evening, Mr. Stearling," The twins responded, suppressing a groan.
"And who might you be?" He inquired, noticing Jazz.
"I'm..." Jazz began, but Mr. Stearling had already turned away.
"Never mind, if you're here for the tour, that's all that matters," He declared, moving on.
Jazz blinked, glancing at the pair. They sighed and gestured for her to play along. With a nod, Jazz proceeded to follow Mr. Stearling.
"So, as you can see, our campus ranks top in the state. The finest psychologists are alumni of this institution, including our most distinguished student," Mr. Stearling remarked, prompting Jazz to examine the image.
It depicted a fair young woman with hair and eye color matching the twins'. She donned a coat and glasses. Beneath the image was a name.
"Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel."
"Wait, Dee Dee, isn't this your mother?" Jazz inquired, turning to the twins.
"She is," Deila confirmed with a smile.
"Though she's known to everyone as Harley Quinn," Deirdre chimed in.
"Both our mothers attended here in their youth," They declared in unison.
"Indeed, Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley. An eccentric, yet she managed to bond with Dr. Quinzel during their time here. Their closeness always struck me as peculiar," Mr. Stearling reflected.
"In what way?" Jazz probed.
"Ms. Quinzel pursued psychology, whereas Dr. Isley, a botanist, showed a particular fondness for her. It never troubled me, so I never interfered," he explained, causing the twins to look displeased.
They were aware of his deceit. The last time their mothers visited, he persistently confessed his bewilderment at their marriage and having what he called 'the worst daughters in history.' That was before Harley threatened to blow his socks off in the literal sense that Ivy had to hold her back along with their biological father.
"We still have more to see. Chop, chop, ladies," Mr. Stearling urged, clapping his hands.
Dee Dee groaned, detesting when he rushed them like that. They promptly gathered beside Jazz, anticipating their next destination.
"Stay close," Deila whispered.
"And keep an eye out for any boys," Deirdre added.
Jazz nodded, puzzled by their sudden protectiveness.
Sometime later,
Jazz and the Twins trailed Mr. Stearling across the campus, drawing the attention of some boys to the twins, and subsequently to Jazz. Dee Dee stayed close, wary of anyone approaching their sister in all but blood. Fortunately, Mr. Stearling managed to keep some of the boys at bay.
"And this is why we resorted to pranks during our last visit," Deila remarked with a sigh.
"This trip is so monotonous," Deirdre concurred, sighing as well.
Jazz observed them, recognizing the familiarity they had with the situation. She was ready to assist, but Mr. Stearling, known for not tolerating misbehavior, often praised the twins' mother for her time as a student here. Jazz reminded herself that she was the birth mother. Eventually, they arrived at a classroom, giving Jazz a glimpse into their academic environment.
"Our students are here to focus and learn, not to wreak havoc," Mr. Stearling stated, eyeing the twins.
"We know," replied the twins simultaneously with an eye roll followed by a nod. Jazz pondered to herself; everything had been wonderful, perhaps even too perfect, reminiscent of her demeanor when her parents were alive.
A sudden chill enveloped Jazz, a familiar sensation that surfaced whenever she thought of her parents. She attempted to conceal it, but the chill persisted.
"Jazz?" Dee Dee inquired, concern evident as they noticed Jazz's arms wrapped tightly around herself, a reaction that even Mr. Stearling found surprising.
"I'm sorry, I was just thinking about my parents," Jazz explained, striving to maintain composure.
"Your parents?" He asked, puzzled.
"They... passed away a few years ago. I've been trying to stay strong for my little brother, but I miss them too," Jazz admitted, her voice tinged with sadness.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Mr. Stearling responded, offering his condolences.
Jazz nodded, the ache in her heart persistent. It was overwhelming, the same reason she used to sleep in Danny's room when they stayed with Vlad—because he understood her grief. Now, distanced from him, she yearned for his embrace to ease her sorrow.
Deila and Derdire, seeing through her facade, didn't hesitate. They enveloped her in a comforting hug, humming a melody that seemed to soothe her. Jazz exhaled, releasing her pent-up emotions into the embrace of the twins.
"I apologize, it's still difficult to move on, especially when everyone blames my brother for their passing," Jazz confided with a heavy sigh.
Mr. Stearling gave them a sympathetic look before exhaling deeply.
"Very well then. Let's proceed with the tour. And, please, refrain from further hugging," he instructed, turning to lead the way.
The twins exchanged a knowing glance, aware of their new sister's ongoing struggle with her parents' absence. They assured Danny that in his absence, they would be there to support her. Of course that didn't stop the twins from sticking out their tongues and making faces at the professor's back before quickly feigning innocence when he looked back.
Some Time Later
Jazz and the twins paused for lunch. Mr. Stearling had to excuse himself as a student was troubling a girl who wasn't interested in him. Now on their own, the twins posed the question that had lingered in their minds since Jazz began crying during their trip.
"Jazz, why do you try to conceal your pain?" Deila inquired.
"It's unlike you to pretend everything's okay," Derdire chimed in.
Jazz exhaled deeply, aware that she couldn't keep secrets from them.
"I may seem strong, but I'm just as heartbroken as Danny. They might have been deeply engrossed in their studies, but I can't forget their affection and care for us. They entrusted me with Danny's care when they went to that event. We never saw them again after that. I can still hear their last words before the door shut," Jazz recounted, her eyes closed.
Flashback
"Goodbye, dear. Behave, and we'll all go to the park together."
"And for an entire day, I won't mention ghosts – that's a Fenton promise!"
End Flashback
"We never made it to the park," Jazz murmured, sighing again.
The twins sympathized with her, realizing they needed to do something to lift her spirits. They decided to inform Alice about Jazz's feelings once they got back to the club.
"Ever since I met Alice, and then you two, I've felt as if I've gained another family. I love you girls, and I'm deeply thankful for all you've done for me," Jazz said, catching them off guard.
"Really?" They asked, astonished.
"Absolutely," Jazz affirmed, smiling.
The twins exchanged glances, their eyes brimming with tears.
"We promised ourselves we wouldn't cry if you ever said that," Deila admitted, holding back tears.
"It means the world to us to be part of your new family, Jasmine," Deirdre said, smiling through her tears.
Jazz's smile widened, her heart lifting. She silently hoped that she and Danny would heal from their past.
"You know, we haven't been to our parents' graves since the funeral. It's time Danny and I paid a visit," Jazz mused aloud.
"We'll make sure to go once we're back," The twins agreed, nodding firmly.
"And then really give it to him in the sack girl," smirked Delia.
"We've never seen you limp like that before. You looked like you had fun," giggled Dedire.
Jazz rolled her eyes before smiling as she hugged the twins back.
Thus, their lunch proceeded as usual. Jazz understood that healing would take time for both her and Danny, but she was also aware that they had a supportive circle to help them both recover.
