meanwhile in the restricted part of the space station, the team were transporting hypersleep chambers containing live human criminals so that the scientists can test Sil's blood. there were 12 males and 21 female criminals that were brought. one of the head scientists Dr. vince "alright time to begin human trials... lets begin with the first two test subjects number 001... and number 002." Dr. vince said as the security brought in their first test subjects.
name: Draco Von. Morbeus, age: 31, race: caucasian, gender: male, hair: black, eye color: grey, crimes: robery, saboture, resisting arrest, attempted murder, kidnapping, and damage to government and community property.
name: Mindy L. Phillip, age: 27, race: Caucasian, gender: female, hair: brown, eye color: blue, crimes: kidnapping, abuse, reverse rape, murder, identity theft, destruction of property, physical abuse, identity fraud, and assault with a firearm.
the test subjects were led inside separate chambers which looked like execution room, they even had the injection chair sitting in the middle of the room, except that this isn't an execution of any kind, but instead, an injection of Sil's blood into their bodies to see if it will effect the human body. they were later stripped of their clothes, leaving them only in their undergarments, both the scientists and security officers began to restrain the subjects to the chairs and made sure that they are secured tight. once they are secure, the security officers help the doctors insert the needles into both subjects arms and they were connected to a IV drip which contained Sil's blood. both subjects looked terrified and confused, they didn't understand why they were there and why they were strapped to the chairs and being injected with some kind of fluid into their bodies.
Dr. Vince spoke over the intercom, "okay, everyone out of the containment chambers now, we need them in total isolation for the experiment." dr. vince ordered. everyone did as they were told and left the containment chambers and sealed the doors behind them. Dr. Vince walked towards a panel that controls the doors, he inserted his finger and pressed his thumbprint against a biometric scanner which unlocked the panel. dr. vince then opened the panel and typed in the commands to seal the doors permanently until the experiment is complete. dr. vince then turned to face the team, "alright, begin injection now!" dr. vince commanded. the machines whirred to life and began pumping Sil's blood into both subjects arms. Draco looked down at his arm and saw the red liquid flowing through the tube and into his veins, he didn't feel anything at first but is later going to endure some extreme cellular change in his body.
meanwhile Eric went over to Sil's containment cell and entered inside. Eric approached Sil's bed and sat down, "Sil, i'm back, i know that you're probably tired from all the blood samples that my people took today, sorry that i wasn't there and if you felt uncomfortable with them i would have stopped them." Eric said, sounding worried. Sil smiled at Eric, "Eric, i'm fine, i'm just happy that you're here, i missed you." Sil replied, smiling warmly. Eric nodded his head, feeling happy that she is fine, "Sil, are you feeling that these people are acting like those people in your past?" Eric asked. Sil frowned, "Eric, what are you talking about? i don't understand what you mean." Sil said, feeling confused. Eric sighed, "Sil, when i was reading your file, there was this project called: Athena, they created you using alien dna and they experimented on you until they decided to kill you... i'm afraid that these people might be planning to do the same thing to you... maybe even kill you too. yet they didn't and i need to know why." Eric explained. Sil frowned and thought about it for a moment, "Eric... i don't know much about this project: Athena... but i remember that the people treated me like an animal and kept watching me, they didn't care if i was lonely, scared or not. but... i don't think you are bad, you treat me nice, teach, give me movies, books to read and feed me, so i don't think that you wanted to hurt me." Sil replied, Eric was starting to think Sil might have gotten over her past, but Eric had learned about his ancestor's involvement in Sil's creation 115 years ago and felt guilty of not getting the chance to tell Sil about this, he didn't want Sil to hate him after telling her this.
Eric sighed and rubbed his temples, "Sil, i need to tell you something." Eric said, feeling nervous. Sil frowned, "Eric? are you alright?" Sil asked, feeling concern. Eric nodded his head, "yeah i'm fine... Sil, i need to tell you this... i'm actually related to one of the people that helped created you." Eric confessed. Sil just stared at Eric, surprised and unsure of what to say. "Eric, you're... related to one of them? why did you tell me this?" Sil asked. Eric sighed, "Sil, i needed to tell you because i need to explain, my ancestor's name is: Dr. Daniel Blu and he was the one of the doctors that created you." Eric explained. Sil frowned, thinking back to her past and but never actually met this Dr. Daniel Blu "Eric, i don't know anyone with that name." Sil said. Eric shrugged his shoulders, "no, of course not, he was never involved in your daily care, he only worked on the DNA sequence of the project, he was the one that mixed the alien dna with human dna to create you." Eric explained. Sil just stared at Eric for a moment, "Eric, do you want to use me like they did?" Sil asked, sounding unsure. Eric shook his head "no, i would never do such things to you like they did, in fact i only just transferred here and had no knowledge of my ancestor's history until i first saw you emerging from your cocoon." Eric said as he remembered seeing her for the first time, but the memories of seeing her naked got to him. Sil immediately remembered sensing those urges before after emerging from the cocoon and then she realized who those urges belonged to, "you were there, weren't you? you were there when i emerged from my cocoon weren't you?" Sil asked. Eric blushed, "um... yes, i was." Eric confirmed. Sil frowned, "why didn't you ever approach me or speak to me after that?" Sil asked. Eric scratched the back of his neck nervously, "well... i don't know why, but i guess i was shy to approach you or maybe i just never saw a girl... naked before." Eric explained feeling embarrassed. Sil just stared at Eric and then giggled, "oh, Eric." Sil teased. Eric blushed and looked away, "i'm sorry." Eric apologized. Sil shook her head, "Eric, its ok... after all... i like you too." Sil said softly to him. Eric looked back at Sil and smiled, "really?" Eric asked. Sil nodded her head, "yeah really, so i forgive you for not speaking to me sooner." Sil said. Eric grinned, "thanks, Sil." Eric replied. Sil smiled and reached out to hold his hands, "Eric... can you stay here with me a bit longer?" Sil asked. Eric blinked at her, "but Sil... i..." Eric was trying to speak, but Sil cut him off, "please, Eric..." Sil begged. Eric felt his heart pounding and he heard Sil beg for him to stay. He knew that Sil is in need of a mate to procreate and now she knows that Eric is attracted to her. even though his mind was conflicted, Eric's mind told him that Sil is not some experiment, she's half human and a person too.
as a silence filled the chamber, Eric took a deep breath and then spoke "screw it. i don't care about this damn job anymore... Sil you just wait here and i'm getting to the bottom of this and once i do, i'm getting you out of this place." Eric said sternly and then left the chamber. Sil watched him leave and then heard the faint sounds and images of not one or two but many strange looking beings that resemble Sil's alien form, they were both male and female, even animals were there in her vision. it was a sign telling her that she is not the only half-breed in this space station, but she shook the images from her mind and only thought of about Eric and what he is doing. is he really going to risk everything to get her out of there and be truly free from isolation. she placed a hand on her chest and was grateful to have met someone like Eric "thank you, Eric... thank you..." Sil said softly to herself as tears ran down her face.
as Eric made his way to the main elevator and pressed the button to take him up to the hallway leading to the restricted area. when the doors opened, Eric walked out and looked around the hall to make sure no one sees him. then he notices security cameras watching him, but he ignored it and proceeded forward. eventually, Eric arrives at the main door leading to the restricted area. he hesitated for a moment and then remembers that he doesn't have the right card to unlock the door. he needed to think of some way to get in and out of there He then thought about how he was going to disable the security system, he couldn't just smash the cameras and sensors, he also needs to bypass biometric scanners and finally enter the restricted area without being physically seen. Eric stood there for a few minutes, thinking of ways to bypass the security systems. then he heard footsteps coming from behind and turned his head around. he noticed a worker approaching towards him. eric panicked and hid himself against the wall just as the worker passed by him, heading straight towards the entrance door of the restricted area. eric held his breath and waited for the worker to scan their card and then enter. after a few minutes, eric watched as the worker went through the door without any trouble. Eric then noticed that the worker dropped their card on the floor as they were leaving, and without hesitation, he picked up the card and held onto it. he waited a few minutes before scanning the card through the card reader and then he heard the sound of locks clicking off. eric waited patiently as he heard the door opening and then he stepped inside of the restricted area.
"so what's the current status of the subjects?" the head of the genetics lab asked as he sipped his tea. "well, sir, we managed to inject sil's blood into 100% of the subjects, but it seems that 4 of the females and 7 of the male subjects didn't survive due to incompatible genes or some other genetic problems." Dr. Samuel Johnson reported. the head of the lab frowned, "that's not good at all, but it means that 17 of the subjects are healthy and stable. What about the animal subjects?" the head asked. Dr. Johnson nodded his head, "the animal subjects are mostly healthy and stable too." dr. johnson informed. the head of the lab then gave an evil grin, "good, very good, this will make our company richer than ever before."
Meanwhile, eric moved cautiously and carefully through the restricted area, he knew that the cameras could see him, but he also knows that he can stay out of sight of any workers or scientists. Eventually, eric arrived at one of the doors leading to a lab room. he scanned the card he took and waited until the locks click off, and then he opened the door. he slipped inside and closed the door behind him. Eric found himself standing in the middle of the laboratory, he noticed several glass containers filled with blood plasma, he noticed there were strange-looking creatures that resembles sil's alien form in sil's drawings. He approached one of the glass tanks and containers and looked inside. he saw a half-breed rat and mouse swimming inside. they both resembled the creature that he had seen in one of sil's drawings from the dreams she had 115 years ago, they also had spikes on their backs like sil did in her alien form. eric remembered that these creatures are now sexually aggressive and are in heat , they can also change their form and have tentacles and spikes on their backs. he thought that if these creatures were ever released upon earth, they would be deadly and dangerous, especially if they were allowed to breed. eric then walked over towards a computer and then turned it on, he knew that he had to be careful, as every action he makes could trigger alarms and bring unwanted visitors. eric waited until the screen lit up and a login appeared on screen, meaning it requires a password to access its database. Eric then pulled out his mobile device and plugged it into the computer, he hacked into the computer's system and disabled any alarms that would trigger if the wrong password was entered. then he guessed a series of passwords, until he finally suggested one password: Cerberus. which gave him full accessed the database of the lab. as Eric browsed through the database he found classified information regarding the half-breeds, about the first manned mission to mars and other events that were linked to alien-human hybrids. eric later found research logs that explains what the scientists in the lab were doing. while reading through it he finally understood why the scientists took samples of sil's blood and how they've injected her blood into animals, mice, rats, rabbits, dogs, and even criminals.
"criminals! Human Criminals?!" Eric thought as he continued reading. He then read about how the scientists created the hybrid creatures from the blood they extracted from sil, they then injected the hybrid cells into the subjects' bloodstream. Then Eric came across a document that caught his eye, it was a video log of the scientists cloning something or someone. eventually he found the name of the person they are cloning and it chilled him to the bone; patrick ross.
