"they're insaine... all of them!" eric said to himself as he was about to turn off the computer and leave, but he then heard noises coming from the end of the hall. Eric immediately shut down the computer and hid behind a table just in time before he saw several guards walking by with flashlights in their hands. they seemed to be searching for something or someone. eric held his breath and hoped that they wouldn't come inside the room he's hiding in. eventually they disappeared out of view. eric slowly let out his breath and peeked around the corner of the table he was hiding behind. he didn't hear any more sounds, so he assumed that the guards had left. Eric slowly stood up and began walking towards the door to exit the room, but as he reaches the door handle, he heard voices coming from outside. "hey, look what I found over there, a card belonging to Dr. Thompson, he must have lost it." one guard said. "good, lets return it to him, he might need it for the experiment tonight." the other guard replied as they both left the room, eric knew that he had to get out of this place and get sil out before they realize he had been there and do their worst on sil. he quickly exited the room and ran back to the elevator.

meanwhile, sil was sitting in the containment chamber waiting for eric to return, until finally he arrived in a cold sweat and he looked pale. "eric, what happened?" sil asked with concern. Eric took deep breaths as he explained everything that he saw in the lab and the documents he read. he told her everything that's happening to her, and that he's risking his job and possibly his life to help her. Eric then told her about the experiment that's been happening the past months. sil felt as if her heart sank into the floor, she didn't know if she was denial, angry, sad or shocked, but she felt as if she wanted to cry. Eric noticed the look on sil's face and hugged her, "I'm sorry sil, I'm so sorry for all of this." he apologized and just as he was about to open her chamber a man with a gun appeared from behind him "don't move..." the man said as he pointed the gun at eric. Eric froze, "you... you don't want to do this..." he tried to say. "shut up and turn around, now!" the man ordered him as he stepped forward. Eric hesitantly complied, "sorry kid, but I'm only doing my job." he added as he aimed the gun at eric. eric couldn't do anything except wait and hope that the man didn't pull the trigger. seconds later dr. vince came into the room with a smirk on his face "mr. eric blu, its nice to see you" dr vince said mockingly. "dr. vince" eric said angrily as he glared at him. Vince then turned towards sil's chamber "hello sil, I see you're enjoying your new home, aren't you?" sil stared at dr. vince, she could sense that he had something sinister planned for her. dr. vince then turned towards the security camera and pressed a button, he spoke into a speakerphone "attention all personnel, this is Dr. Vince speaking, there has been an attempted break out and we have one intruder, mr. eric blu. please lock down the station until further notice." eric knew that his time had come to an end, he knew that once he leaves this room, he will never see sil again. dr. vince then turned towards eric "you know, we could let you leave this station without trouble if you agree to stay silent and never come back." dr. vince suggested. Eric hesitated and thought about it for a moment "go to hell! you're not going to get away with this!" Eric shouted as he tried to charge towards dr. vince, but he was restrained by the man holding him at gunpoint. "that's too bad, it looks like you won't be leaving today... except through the main airlock" dr. vince said coldly.

sil's eyes widen with horror and her heart was pounding really fast, she couldn't lose eric, not after everything she had went through. She had to save him, somehow. sil felt her rage build inside her, two of the scientists noticed that sils estrogen level's are suddenly peaking. "um sir i hate to interupt but sil's readings are..." one of the scientists tried to finish but was interuppted "what about it?" dr. vince said annoyed. "her estrogen levels are rising, sir" the scientist replied. "that's weird, it shouldn't happen yet." dr. vince said confused. but before they could react sil suddenly smashed through the glass and jumped out of the containment chamber. they all froze with shock and horror as they saw sil in her alien form, chitinous and reptilian, but still humanoid in appearance. Her "hair" is a mass of prehensile tentacles which are slicked back behind her head. She possesses two sets of teeth with the internal set being razor sharp, she seems to have long sharp spines up her back. Her eyes are green with vertical pupils. Eric saw her in her alien form, but he wasn't afraid of her for some reason and he somehow knew that she wasn't going to hurt him. Dr. vince gave the order to sedate sil, but she immediatly attacks the guards one after another and eric could only watch in horror as she rips them limb from limb. Dr. vince tried to run but sil grabbed him and impaled him through his mouth by using her tongue which is tipped with sharp spines. Eric stared at dr. vince's lifeless body and looked at sil in her alien form as she approached him. Eric swallowed hard as sil kneels towards him and placed her right hand on his left cheek, she looked him straight in the eye and kisses him on the lips. eric felt as if time had stopped, but as the kiss went on, sil was changing back into her human form, her hair growing longer and her eyes changing color. eventually eric felt the kiss break and opened his eyes to find sil in her human form kneeling before him naked. Sil smiled at eric and she helped eric stand up, eric stared at her in shock "wha... what just happened?" Eric stammered. sil laughed "I'm not sure..." she replied.

meanwhile in the restricted area, some of the scientists working there have been looking at the security footage and saw that dr vince and the security guards are dead and that both sil and eric are the only ones there. "all units do you read, there is a break out in containment lab 217." one scientist announced. the other guards who are immediately alerted rushed out of their rooms. but the criminal test subjects whom are still in their containment cells knew that this was their only chance to break out, so they started breaking through their own chambers. they all started attacking the guards. the guards tried to fend off the criminals but it was in vain, as they soon got overwhelmed.

as both sil and eric walked through the corridors of the station, sil was wearing a pair of pants and t-shirt she took from one of the corpses of the guard and scientist that she killed. sil suddenly stops in her tracks she senses that something was wrong. eric noticed that sil stopped moving, he looked at her and asked "what's wrong?" but sil ignored him. she closes her eyes and listens, she could see what the other half-breeds see. suddenly sil opens her eyes and looks at eric with a serious expression "we have to go, they're all free." she says. eric was confused of what she's saying but then he immediatly realized what's happening. "oh god... we have to get out of here" eric said panicked. sil nods and grabs eric's hand as they make a run for it. they ran as fast as they can through the corridors, but sil senses that one of the half-breeds is heading straight for the other as if they are pairing up for their mating ritual. sil turns her head towards eric "i don't think they have any need to kill anyone in this station yet. they are like me, they are searching for mates to have babies." she explains. eric looks at her confused "wait, what? I thought that they will go on a killing spree and slaughter everyone in sight." Eric said shocked. sil shook her head "the females won't kill until they have finished mating with their chosen partner and find a spot to give birth." she explained. eric sighed in relief "thank god for that" eric said, but sil could only stare at eric with sadness. "but that means that they will kill anyone in their path that tries to interfere with their goal of finding a mate, including you..." sil explained. eric's expression changed from relief to horror "what?!" he shouted. "oh my god, sil please tell me that your joking! you have to be kidding me, right?" eric pleaded. sil slowly shakes her head "no i'm not... but it doesn't mean that i can harm you too." she said. eric blinked at her and then asked "what do you mean?" sil hesitated as if she's struggling to say something. "what im saying is... i already choosen a mate and if there's anyone i choose to mate with... its you." eric's expression changed to one of confusion and shock.

"you mean... you want to mate... i mean... with me?!" he asked stunned. sil nodded and said nothing. eric stared at her for a long moment then looked away, his mind racing wildly as he tried to process the enormity of what Sil had just said. "well... umm... i didn't expect this, but really at a time like this? i mean you knew that i was attracted to you? but you seem to be rushing things here." eric nervously said. sil shook her head "no, i mean not right now." sil asked. eric exhaled a breath of relief and looked at her "good thank god for that." eric said, sil smiles at him and then said "lets focus on finding a way off this... space station." sil said as she walked passed eric. meanwhile one of the female half-breed subjects, has been killing some guards in the lower decks of the station, but for some reason she felt the alien instincts telling her to find a mate. she sensed the presence of a half-breed male near by. she followed the scent and found a male half breed wandering in the dark hallways. she approached him slowly and wrapped her arms around his torso. the male half breed seemed startled but then relaxed in her hold as he wraps his arms around her. "hi..." he mumbled, she simply replies with a kiss on the side of his neck. the two half breeds led each other into one of the maintenance rooms, where they lock themselves in.

meanwhile in highly secured part of the station, the cloned patrick ross smashes through the steel door as if it were aluminum foil. he roared loudly and then charged at one of the guards, who was armed with experamental laser machine guns. but ross simply tore the gun from his hands and threw it aside before snapping his neck. ross then turned to face the other guards, but they didn't even stand a chance, ross killed them all in less than a minute, tearing them apart with his bare hands. after killing them, he smashed one of the laser guns that fell to the ground with his own foot. ross then roared and charged out of the room as if he's going on the run.

meanwhile, eric and sil were still running through the corridors, eric looked at sil, feeling the need to talk "hey sil? i've always wanted to ask, why did you save me?" he asked. sil looked at eric with surprise "what do you mean?" she asked confused. "i mean, you could have easily killed me just like everyone else, but you decided to spare me." eric explained. sil stares at eric for a few seconds then replied "i saved you because you are the only one here who treats me like i'm human..." sil said. eric stared at her and then looked away as he blushes "you're welcome" he said. sil giggles softly and smiles as she kept running through the corridors. "eric..." sil whispered as they slowed down to walk "yes?" eric replied. sil paused for a few moments before speaking "i'm glad that you came to the station." sil said as eric smiled "me too" eric replied before he stopped in his tracks and gasped for air. sil turned to look at eric "are you okay?" she asked. eric nodded as he continues to catch his breath "yeah, i'm fine. its just that you run so fast, its tiring me out." eric replied. it was then the pair had heard a loud roar that echoed through the entire station. eric and sil looked at each other in shock. "oh my god, what was that?!" eric whispered. sil shakes her head "i don't know. but i..." she replied, but sil knows that this roar sounded like a half-breed roar. the pair kept running through the corridors, eventually finding themselves in one of the mess halls in the lower decks of the station, except that the mess hall is filled with cocoons of some kind. "eric these are mating cocoons." sil spoke out of nowhere. eric stared at her "how do you know?" he asked. sil simply shrugs "i just know, when two half-breeds mate, they form a cocoon around themselves for the mating ritual. after the mating ends, the female gives birth to a pure strain of half-breed that would be unstopable." eric looked at her as if he was horrified "what?! how did you know all that?" eric asked. sil sighed "i think its because of my dreams or... by insticts." sil replied. eric nodded as he keeps looking at the cocoons, he can see that they were made of some kind of gooey fleshy material.

eric and sil continued running through the station until they stumbled upon one of the scientists and two guards, they too were on the run, but this scientist eric was familiar with, it was doctor drake. "eric!" drake called out. eric ran over to them while sil just stared at them "drake! what the heck just happened?!" eric asked. drake stared at eric and sil for a moment before speaking "i can't explain eric." drake said, trying to make sure eric does not know about the half-breeds, but he was unaware that eric already knew about the experiments. eric glared at drake "don't play innocent with me, i already know about the experaments you sons of bitchs been doing" eric replied in anger. drake looks at eric shocked "how... how did you know about the experiments?" drake asked. eric glared at drake again "because i saw those rats, dogs, rabbits, and mice in cages. they were all infected with some sick serume you made from sil's blood." eric replied. drake sighed as he rubs his temples. drake then looks at eric again "listen, we can talk about this later, but we must get to the escape pods now." drake said. eric looked at the two guards and then back at drake "okay, lets go, but... sil is coming with us... like it or not, she is coming with me and if you try anything, you will pay dearly! got it!" eric said. drake sighs and nods "okay, lets just get out of here." drake replied as the four of them began running through the corridors once again.
