(End of flashback) 2:00 pm
Esmerelda turns the page of her photo album. There was a picture of her and Severus, where it took place in 1989, on the day of their wedding (August 3, 1989). She still has her wedding ring on her finger since she's the wife of the late potion professor.
"If it weren't for Eileen, who told Severus I loved him in secret. I could have told him that we could've kept our relationship a secret from the students if they spread rumors about us." She hates how some of the students, like Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff (except Slytherin), would keep bashing Severus.
"I know that he could be a bully to the students, but I don't mind." She would defend him from the danger or trouble (caused by the Death Eaters). "He told me that he was a double agent, working for Dumbledore."
As a librarian, Esmerelda can be a bit scary (due to her short-tempered behavior) whenever a student did something bad to her or Severus. "The students would've be afraid of me for the way I acted if I catch them in the restriction section or procrastinating if they're supposed to be studying."
She cares for Severus as a friend, but it was more than that. Esmerelda loves him as a soulmate. "Whenever he's in danger or trouble, I was willing to protect him, if it's the last thing I do."
Esmerelda and Severus first met during Eileen's first year at Hogwarts (1985), and her first day of her job as a librarian. Esmerelda gets nervous, whenever Severus is around.
At the start of summer break in 1988 (which was the end of Eileen's fourth-year), after Eileen told him that Esmerelda loves him, Severus and Esmerelda fell in love with each other. She marries Severus on August 3, 1989.
Tears came out from her eyes as she began to cry. "I can't believe I've lost him. He was my only friend I had left, but also, the guy whom I love in secret. If it weren't for the dark lord who killed him. I've could have been the one who would save Severus."
