To be fair, part of that is on him for eating a Devil Fruit. Let's just say it's a comparative negligence kind of deal.
My dude pushed me to do it though! How would you like Doflamingo's (yes, that Doflamingo! Is there any other?) right hand man giving you an order to off somebody, and all you can do was stare at the snot waterfall hanging from his nose?
Every single piece of furniture in our bad guy hideaway looks like it was used in a massive snail orgy. And when my man laughs or, heaven forbids, sneezes, forget about it! Your hair is stuck like that for at least a week.
So maybe I bought a bottle of Benadryl capsules and started slipping one or two into his morning cup of joe. You know what? It was working.
My man Trebol was still a mucus monster sporting some nasty snot rockets, but the range and splatter were down.
I figured if one or two did that much good, what about four or five?
And maybe that was my bad.
But all's well that ends well. Trebol was lifted out of the swimming pool, and he vomited up some water, but other than that, the dude was fine.
In fact, I think the chlorine rinse helped out with the nasal flowage. So maybe it was actually a good thing he fell in?

ESH. I really want to say that YTA but Trebol sounds absolutely nasty!
Straight up, you should not be medicating people without their knowledge or consent.
I'm pretty certain that is a felony and not a medical favor. You need to quit doing it. Immediately. Cease and desist. Every Stop! You have violated the law! meme should be playing in your head right now.
However, uggggghhhh, snot on the furniture? In your hair? I want to vomit. I feel for you. It sounds so unsanitary. Someone get this man Trebol a kleenex and send him to an otolaryngologist.
If that can't happen, you could try wearing a hazmat suit around him? It would make sitting on the furniture less gross.
