Alopex looked into Cyro's mouth, the giant wolf lumbering around as he hummed, his mouth snapping shut as she inserted something at the base of his neck.
Cyro grunted, slamming his easily which caved in stone by her clawed feet. The snowy fox gave his mouth a crack as he closed it, slowly looking over to the side.
Cyro was thinking of what was growing on his mind as the hulking beast seemed to rub at his temples, pausing to think as he looked over at her.
"You do realize we have a LOT of stuff to end up doing, yeah?" Cyro asked before he looked to the side.
She was thinking of it all when it was all done and dusty. Cyro was thinking of what was growing on his mind, all of it hurt and all of it was odd but it was clear he wanted to try… Did he want to try and to him? Trying was better than nothing.
Alopex kicked her clawed feet back and forth, bored as to how it was going to occur, increasingly exhausted as of now.
Alopex sat down on a rusted train as the two mutants looked at each other, her golden eyes canceled by his bright blue ones.
He hummed to himself before he looked to the side, his entire body tired now… He felt like he was able to think of it differently now.
He hummed and then cracked his fingers, frost and snow slowly falling off his body as he thought of it as now before he crushed his fingers against the ground, ready to fight.
He hummed to himself and thought of himself properly. He wished to be dealing with it for now as he came crashing down.
"What did you have in mind?" Cyro asked before he looked to the side as he hummed to himself and then thought of it.
Cyro was eager to think, she would be able to think of it. She looked at him, realizing just how much of it would be easier said than done… Such was life and life appeared grueling like that at times.
She had time to deal with it, she had time to relax… But Alopex knew she could not have handled everything now, only so much could be dealt with now.
They had to deal with this eventually… The only problem was simple, they had a lot more on the line, and more that was thrown off. Well, the more it would need to be thrown IN to attempt to stop it all at the end of the day.
Yes, more HAD to be thrown at the issue to end it and they were just along for the ride now and for good reasons now and now.
Cyro hummed, tapping his claws on the wall as his claws tore through the metal of the subway train… He was all too amused, all too fascinated by his antics now.
Cyro hummed and then looked to Alopex as she tinkered, having traded her torn coat for a jacket with the sleeves torn off, the hood cyan and blue and pulled over her head. She hummed and continued tinkering with whatever she had begun to make for him.
He paused, too interested in it as he leaned backward, the weight of his body pushing the subway car to one side.
"You like fancy toys, yeah?" Cyro asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
"How so?" Alopex asked, flipping one of the wrenches she found around.
"I noticed ya tinkering with stuff even before I started coughing… You like to make stuff… I can see it in how you look." Cyro said before he brought a hand to his chest, a deep breath of chilled air pouring from his gullet.
Cyro cursed as his body semi-refused to respond to his whims. The mutant wolf took a labored breath before Alopex tied something around his neck.
"Take a deep breath," Alopex stated as Cyro did so, gasping with air as he blinked, pausing for a moment.
There was a metallic hiss as the collar-like object tightened around his throat, the hulking mutant blinking as he paused, thinking for a moment as to what it would be like and HOW it would end.
He would laugh, he would laugh and howl with laughter if he had any true clue as to what she would do.
He looked over at the smirking fox mutant, tilting his head like the canine he was matched with would.
"Did you… Put a doggy collar on my neck?" Cyro asked, blinking more in confusion than anger.
"Nope… The collar is made from an air conditioning unit… Your body is trying to cool itself down and heat itself at the same time… Your throat is freezing to the point where you are not breathing properly." Alopex started before she hummed and then looked to the side.
Something about it all was much harder and harder said than done… Now. Cyro took another deep breath of air as he hummed and decided something was up for now, something which had become much harder to deal with.
To be fair? He was tired, he wanted to collapse… He would collapse if he were any weaker… Something within him made him chuckle as he realized it all had been on the edge of something that he had to think of it all as he had to pause.
Something within it all had been harder and harder to deal with for now… Something about it all was much harder to understand now and for good reason… It was much funnier than that.
They had a lot more to try and figure it out as of the time being… It would be too understanding.
Both shared a look that told the others that they were amused… Something within it for both was occurring… Granted? Both were different creatures.
He knew increasingly about the fact it would not end well… It could not.
Cyro grunted, the weight of his body showing Alopex that he was massive enough to easily crush a tank barehanded if he wished. Still? he looked gentle, caring despite his bulk… Cyro was silent, eager to do something, and it was clear he was still as fit as an ox.
"Tell me… Did ya have a plan or were you just hoping you could get out of here easy?" Duke asked with a raised eyebrow.
He knew more than this… He knew very well that she was smart. Alopex hummed, wiggling her toes on the ground as the fox mutant tilted her head, curious.
Both were different… Both intended for things to go past the way they did… But it was part of life.
Something within them both made them both curious… It was part of being alive… Then again? They were soldiers… They were survivors and if they wanted to survive. They had to adapt and fight.
"I am winging it, Cry… I always wing it…. Life does not deal you a bad hand and you just give up." Alopex started as Cyro hummed.
Both times he had fallen and did not want to get up… Something within them was much harder to deal with.
Granted? They were warriors, far beyond what needed to be done… It was part of life.
Both times they needed to trust each other, and he amused himself by helping.
"Are you ok?" Cyro asked, balancing on his legs. "Because you know you can trust me with those plans…. Right?" Cyro asked with a tone that made Alopex hum.
She did not know him… But she wanted to. She wanted to trust him, and it was clear beyond all shadow of a doubt that something was wrong.
Both were different at the time being… It was a lot more to try and figure it out…. They had a lot more to deal with… Cyro only was dealt with for now.
They had a lot more to try and deal with for the time being… It had a lot more to deal with for now.
It was a lot more fun as both mutants looked at each other, curious about something that had not been amusing for them.
"Think you can help with something I'm cooking up then?" Alopex asked as Cyro hummed.
He shrugged. He had a lot more to deal with now… It was something he could not have dealt with… But he would have been able to think… He would not have much more on his mind now… Not with this all becoming harder and harder to think about now.
He was more amused than before. Cyro could only hum, curious as to HOW this would have occurred, HOW this would not have been easy.
To be fair? She was PLENTY curious as to HOW this would have occurred. PLENTY curious now at the end of the day.
There was PLENTY left to deal with for now… She knew that he of all warriors was eager to deal with plenty for now.
It was SO curious as to how it was to have been but to be fair. There was PLENTY left to attempt to deal with, PLENTY to understand.
"You should know for a few seconds I almost closed my jaw and ripped your hand off, little lady," Cyro said as he rubbed at the back of his neck. "I do try to not do that, but it seems to make it a better idea," Cyro stated before he sighed.
He was tired, too curious as to how it would have been now, and for good reason… Something about it ALL made things interesting…. ALL of it was curious as to how it was done for now.
Something within Cyro seemed to make him laugh as Alopex scratched at her head, her foot extended like the canine she had been turned into.
Cyro laughed; his fanged maw forced into a smirk as Alopex kicked at him with her foot. He swatted aside her small limb, but the smirk remained.
"Sorry… That was cute… You looked like a pup, Al." Cyro stated before he turned to look to the side.
"And you look like a teddy bear, Cy," Alopex said with a giggle before she slowly climbed to her feet. "We need to go soon. How long will we stay here? The more we risk getting hit by a runaway train." Alopex started as Cyro hummed.
"Not true," Cyro stated, cracking his neck as he hummed, frost coming from his mouth. "This tunnel is abandoned, has been for 20 years as my ma said," Cyro stated before he hummed.
There was a brutal hum from the depths of his throat. He was all too interested in it for all as it came down to it.
Cyro was dealt with as he paused and then thought of what was going on as he looked to the side.
There was a lot more to deal with for now. Alopex sniffed the air as Cyro slowly cradled her in the crux of his arm.
"You close with your mom?" Alopex asked, her tone gentle.
"Was," Cyro stated, ears drooping like that of the wolf he had been turned into.
Cyro hummed, curious as to how he had been too sad… Too saddened now and for a good reason.
There was a LOT more he could have done. Something about it all had been too much, far too for now… For the time being? He was content. He wished to be MORE content now and he was not finding anything to be answering that plea no matter how much he made it there in one piece.
To be fair? There was nothing else to deal with now or even then when such was going to the dogs… Something about it all made him laugh.
Still? There was a lot more left to deal with for now… An idea like this was increasingly amusing.
"You know… Sometimes I forget this is all too amusing for now at the end of the day… I do not know what else to deal with now." Cyro stated, sighing, and rubbing at his temples with obvious annoyance.
He knew better than this… Knew a lot better than her that she wished it all.
"Right now? I know you a lot better than you think, Cy… You want to help people… But you are not willing to do what needs to be done now." Alopex stated, annoyance going through him all the way.
He had a lot more left to contribute. Cyro was too silent now and all too willing to distract him from it all.
Alopex leaned down next to him, looking at Cyro as her golden eyes gleamed with mischief and amusement.
"We can do a LOT together than alone, Cy… And I am going to need a partner." Alopex stated before she sighed to herself.
She bent down closer to him, knowing well there was a lot more left to deal with, now at the end of the day? something inside the mutant fox was all too tired.
She was all too willing to deal with something for now and she had no real clue what to do.
Alopex sighed and tucked her long and furry muscular legs under her. She felt strong and fast but… Odd, she knew well being a mutant had done a lot to her now and at the same time?
Something about this excited her… But it also drove her insane with grief and worry. She knew well what was going on now and she was all too distracted now at the time being… An idea like this was a lot more.
She and he had been too much to try and figure it out… She had, as she thought of what was growing for now.
Alopex was all too much to deal with for now… But she was amused all the same as she tapped her foot on the ground.
She had a lot more left to understand now and for a good reason… Now it was more than they wished to know… It would not have helped.
Cyro was simply tired now and he would not have allowed himself the idea of passing out now when he had managed to do so much worse.
As a soldier? He was in deep the garbage, a warrior. He was all too thrown off now… But he was neither of these things, simply a warrior of raw power and a friend to those who had none, those he could not have allowed himself to let go through it all now.
All of it was increasingly chaotic now and always now and good for now.
It was worth a laugh at last as she realized that he was one of the few who got her when it came down to it… Now at the end of the day.
H was tired and beaten down when all was said and done… Too much had to be distracted for now and for a good reason.
She knew him and he knew her… There was little denying their kinship now, but it was clear Cyro would be sick without her, she knew her friend would be deadly when it came down to it as of now… They had a distraction to deal with and it was clear these sorts of things were too much when it came down to it.
He sighed to himself before they relaxed once more and then thought of what was occurring in their minds once more.
They had a lot more to distract it for now and it had a lot more to deal with. He had a lot of different ideas as he paused once more.
Alopex hummed, tapped on the head of the hulking wolf as he sighed, and then shook his head.
"You good?" Cyro asked before he slowly yet surely started to climb to his feet as he paused to think.
She had a lot of different things when it came down to it as he paused.
There was a lot more to try and think… Now? Now for the time being, when it came to their interest. He sighed to himself and then slowly began to move forward, too tired to do much, too curious as to how to deal with it all.
Now at the time would they have done something they could not at all have taken back all of what they had left to do?
Alopex looked at her new friend, curious as he hummed. All the teenagers knew that she was different.
There were a lot of different things when it was all said and done, he smiled, teeth bared at her as if he was a giant hunting hound.
He beckoned her down the tunnel, both slowly and yet surely starting to slog down the tunnels, too tired to do much, too distracted to let it come to this end so suddenly.
He was bored, much more than bored. Now she had been pushed when all of it was over when it was done and dusted… There was too much left to deal with.
And she? She was all too done with the antics used on her at the time being.
Alopex was all too much for now and all too done with, an idea like this had to be broken… It would have been broken.
She was too tired… More than him and more than eager to distract them for now, much more willing to decide on what was occurring now and for a good reason at the end of this day and all such days.
Cyro hummed and then thought of what was growing on his mind as he paused to try and think what was growing on his mind. Something about it all had been too much to distract.
Cyro was done now and thought of it all as he paused, cracking his fingers. This was something to be done now and something big to think about now.
He had a lot more to try and think, cold slowly leaking from his mouth as he looked over at her… Something about it all had been harder and harder now… It was to be SOMETHING.
They were thrown off. Now? Now it would have been distracted and distracted well.
"Are you ok?" Cyro asked before he shook his head, cracking his fingers once more.
There was something to be done and dust as Alopex leaped onto the train next to him. Cyro sighed to himself and shook his head, slamming his bulk into the train as he slowly started to fall to the ground.
He sighed once more, cracking his fingers, and looked over at Alopex, she perched atop the train which shook under his weight, and he grunted.
"This city eats people like us, Ally… It chews through ya if you let it." Cyro added as he shook his head and then looked to the side.
There was a moment of silence before he sighed. Cyro brought his hand to his head with a shake of his skull. She smirked at him, clearly getting his point at the time being and guessing he was tired.
"Yeah, and sometimes it is only plain wrong… I have been told how to live since I was ten… Before I was even able to think for myself." Alopex started as Cyro shrugged.
"Life sucks sometimes, trust me… It is not always bad if you can enjoy the trivial things… Well, trivial things that ain't in this tunnel." Cyro muttered as Alopex kicked him playfully atop the head.
He was silent, too curious as to how it came crashing down upon them.
"We both know this is only going to get weirder, don't we? There is a lot about this mutant stuff… Well, about us we do not know. We do not know how to deal with it all…" Alopex stated as Cyro hummed.
"Depends on the idea… I do not know too much about science, Ally… Not a lot of books dropped down the subway tunnels." Cyro stated, pausing to himself with annoyance.
He had little left to deal with, little beyond the pale within them, little beyond what they were currently struggling with, something to deal with.
Now? Now it was just part of Cyro's amusement as Alopex perched atop the trailer, looking at him.
There was a lot more to try and think of what to do next, something within him was going to break. It would break down entirely when it came down to the idea, something within it would come crashing down.
They had a lot more to deal with and it was something to be dreaded and even taken apart slowly and painfully now.
There was LITTLE in the way of such amusement for them, little in the way of such things to deal with it, they all had a lot more left to deal with.
Cyro hummed as she playfully poked him in the face with her tail and foot before sighing and tapping at her nose.
"Well, it is not like we have a lot to do besides sit around… And right now? Right now, I have entirely lost interest in doing something like gushing over who I am… Got better things to do, a LOT better things to do, and right now? I think we should hit the town." Alopex said as Cyro hummed and looked at her.
"Meaning?" Cyro asked, eyebrow raised as he thought of his next move. "We are not exactly street-ready, Al. We do not even look normal." Cyro said as Alopex hummed.
"Yeah… But neither does New York." Alopex said as Cyro snickered. "C'mon, we could at least explore where the surface is, and make sure we know what us is around before we make any wild moves," Alopex stated as Cyro sighed, shaking his head.
Something about it all is going to need to end. Cyro slowly yet surely pushed himself to his feet, tired and worn down.
Each little measure? He would handle, each little idea. They would deal with it… He would deal with it.
Cyro smiled despite everything. He was not alone, he was MUCH too easily not alone, something that would come crashing down onto the ground.
Cyro slowly climbed to his feet, almost pushing over the train as he realized that he was still much stronger and faster than before….
Now? Now he was tired… And being tired caused issues. It hurt increasingly.
Cyro slowly followed; his gait much more sluggish than Alopex's as his bulk made walking much too of a hassle. He felt like a tank walking on two feet.
Now and only now was he going to be able to relax, and now and only now would he let himself feel this vulnerable. Cyro cracked his fingers, slowly apricating the power he had in this form and all that he had to offer.
It felt good, he felt strong. Alopex looked at him as he yawned, his bulk made walking forward a bit of a hassle.
Yet? He managed it all the same. He felt strong but he also felt burdened by every single move he could have made.
It felt like he was drowning in a pot full of boiling water… One where he did not at all feel welcome… Not at all.
No, there was nothing he could do… Should do… Something about it all. Now?
He had a lot more to try and think of what was growing on his mind as it came down to it. They had a lot more to try and relax for now and cracked his fingers and then thought of what was growing on his mind.
Cyro knew better than to relax, knowing something within him was going to be too much, far beyond the pale.
It was too much than before… Not when he had a lot of different ideas as to what to do… Something like this was bothering with everything.
He felt sick, stronger, fuzzy, clear… He felt like his body was soup constantly changing itself and it hurt… It hurt a LOT more than he expected it to.
Honestly? Cyro was not half as smart as Alopex, so he felt all mixed up when it came down to it.
Later he could have distracted himself now… If nothing else? They had work, more than usual, more than they needed to have and it cut him up inside in a thousand ways.
"Tired, big guy?" Cyro heard as Alopex yawned and reclined against the bus.
"No, feel amped up. You? This mutant thing is weird, I feel ready to vomit and ready to rip something up when it comes down to it." Cyro stated, his entire body coiling up and down like a snake.
Alopex hummed. Her own body felt all mixed up, half like she was struck by lightning and the other half like she had been slowly dying.
He was right, being this way was odd, but it felt a lot better than she thought and part of her did not want to give it up, the power? The fire? The energy, it felt good, and she did not want to waste it now.
Right now? She did not want to let this power go to her head, but it was hard to do so, knowing that something inside her was growing a lot faster than she wished it to.
Cyro yawned, slowly cracking his fingers, and felt power going through them. He smirked all the same, tired at the end of the day and eager to have the abilities he had in him.
"Ok… I think we might need to find out what we can do and how we do not fall over and die from this, Al. Right now? I need a soda and I think you might need some space to science up the answer to what is going on inside my brain." Cyro said as he sighed and rubbed his head.
He knew Alopex was going to end up being the smarter one between them when it came to science. He was no lab rat, and his brain felt a LOT more mixed up when it came to things like figuring out HOW this was to end.
How it would have come crashing down was something that he did not at all understand… All within him? His mind raced like it was on a track all its own.
And he could not for the life of himself understand where it was going right now, right at the end of the day? Something was going much too far for them, and it hurt, it hurt when all was said and done now.
Alopex sighed to herself and then looked to the side… She was all too much at the end of the day.
She looked at him… Cyro humming and cracking his fingers, he offered Alopex a smirk, watching as she looked to the side.
Both were too much amused at the time… She was all too ready to smirk, she was ready to get to work.
Alopex seemed to be relaxing, smirking at Cyro.
"Ok… Ready for an adventure?" Alopex asked which Cyro hummed.
"Give me a second… My legs hurt right now. I have a lot of issues trying to talk… My mouth kinda tingles." Cyro stated, pausing for a moment.
He knew better, a LOT better than he had right now… And it would not have helped… As of the moment? He had plenty left.
The boy was not stupid, though. He looked over at Alopex, watching the gleam of amusement in her golden eyes.
She was like a child… Was a child. She and he were on the same page when it came to these sorts of things.
Cyro sighed and slowly pushed himself to his feet, the train buckling under the weight of the mutant. He cracked his fingers and then looked towards her back again.
Something about it all had been too much now… Far too much.
"Ok, fine… Let us go." Cyro stated before he slowly started to struggle to his feet.
(5 minutes later)
Cyro slowly walked after Alopex, his entire body stumbling every few feet… He knew better than to do something at the end of it.
He was bored… A little sick… And a lot tired… He had been too thrown off at the end of today. Something within the mind of the hulking wolf made himself tired, too tired now.
Cyro was all too amused, used to her habit as Alopex scampered along, kicking her clawed feet as she seemed to skip down the tunnel.
"Are you ok?" Cyro asked, tilting his head towards her. "I feel kinda tired… And woozy." Cyro stated, leaning his hand on the wall next to himself.
Cyro was entirely trying his best right now… He knew that Alopex was all too much at the end of it.
Something about it all amused him, making him smirk once. Alopex turned, looking at him and tilting her head entirely to one side.
She knew what was going to happen, both were dealing with chaos beyond their means.
To be fair? He was all too relaxed once more. Cyro was relaxed a bit, leaning his full weight on the door… All of him was tired and he was able to relax.
It was FAR more tiresome than he was used to be… Some of it was more than he asked himself to… All of it amused him once again.
Alopex sighed to herself once again. She rested her head in her hands, bored at the end of the day and it was all coming to a head.
Something within them both was too tired, too distracted by war… It was a war they were not used to… Something about it all had been too much… All of it just seemed to come harder and faster.
Right now? Alopex seemed to be pushing him towards another fight, the clop of her clawed feet against the wet stone reminded him that he was an animalistic mutant.
Oddly? It was NOT the weirdest thing with which he had dealt. When you were from New York? Weirdness like this was NOT something he could have dealt with without getting used to life.
Something about it all had been too much now… All of it made him giddy, however.
Alopex turned, glancing towards him. She was not stupid about how they had changed; she had been a rich girl sitting in her room typing code on her computer yesterday… Now? She was an Arctic fox mutant sitting in a tunnel with a boy who had been turned into a car-sized wolf who could end up ripping a tank in half.
Something within Alopex told her that she could at least trust Cyro. She had lived a normal life, went to school, worked… But she knew her social life was a façade, those people who liked her?
Most of them wanted her money, and the fame from being related to someone powerful. Alopex hated it, the fake compliments, the half-hearted attempts to be friends.
And her parents? Alopex knew they were all too distracted at the end, busy counting their cash and trying to put up to the façade of supportive and loving parents.
To her? She was their doll, a doll that was dealing with this sort of thing when it came down to it… Something about it all had been too much.
Alopex seemed to distract herself with each little idea cutting through her mind… If nothing else? She was happy to be free of the strife going through her mind.
Alopex seemed to be distracted at the end of the day… She was all too thrown off at the end of the day.
They had a LOT more left to deal with, she had a lot of ideas left. A LOT left cutting through their brains as both seemed to be relaxed once more.
Cyro simply leaned forward, resting his hands on the ground which seemed to buckle slightly under her weight for now.
It was more than she could bear, something which hurt a LOT more than before. An idea of things to come was etched entirely into the mind of the mutant fox.
She was all too amused, stepping closer as Cyro hummed, sitting atop his shoulders as she hopped upwards and onto the shoulders of the warrior. He glanced upwards at her, curious as to what she would end up doing for the time being.
Something about it ALL had been too amusing for him to just relax at the time being when push had come to shove.
Something about it all had been too much for now… He had a lot more left to deal with… Including her… Including power and control.
Right now? Cyro did not care about any type of power, just Alopex… She had been too distracting at the time, wiggling her nose like the fox she was… Right now? He would focus on protecting her.
Cyro was all too much relaxed either way… He stood up and slowly started to yawn with exhaustion. He had been too focused on it all… And something within them all had been harder to deal with.
He had been able to relax mostly, his entire body slowly starting to adjust to what he was now.
Cyro seemed to smirk at Alopex as she slowly started to look around, wiggling her toes on the ground as the fox let out a giant yawn, her jaws expanding. Right now? Right now? He had been too curious as to it all.
Something within them told them to keep walking. Cyro hummed and then paused.
"These tunnels all smell the same. I smell like we are going in circles." Cyro stated before he sighed to himself.
He looked to the side as Alopex yawned, boring herself… Something within her had been too much.
He had a lot more left to deal with…. And it hurt him at the end of the day, he yawned and took a deep breath.
He had been bored now, very bored at the end… And tired.
Alopex turned, resting her hands on his face as Cyro hummed, his eyes narrowing as he looked at her.
He looked like a gorilla more than a human, resting himself on his knuckles like one of their species would do. She pressed her head against his as he chuckled.
"You are a real cuddle bug, aren't you?" Cyro asked before he raised an eyebrow.
Something about it all had been too much for now… And both shared a smirk as Cyro hummed.
"You are just too sweet not to hug." Cyro heard Alopex chuckle. "Sides. You smell better than anything down here… This place stinks more than garbage." Cyro heard from Alopex.
Cyro hummed and then paused; he had been too curious about how it would end.
They had plenty left to deal with for now as it came down to it all… He knew better than to hope, to understand himself better than himself.
Cyro seemed to hum at the end of the day… He had been curious what was growing on his mind… He had a lot more to try and think.
He had a lot more to deal with for now as he paused to himself… He had a lot more to deal with, a lot more left than this.
Cyro hummed, watching Alopex kick her feet like a child… She was odd, very odd…. But she was amusing for now.
Both needed themselves and both had been too much now and always for the time being when it had come to such things. It was far more than enough pain within him to break something else now all to pieces.
Cyro did not know, could not know. He had plenty left within him for now and for a good reason.
Both were silent, curious as to HOW this was going on at the end of the day.
They would not be able to relax… It was too much for him at the time. Cyro was amused once again as she wanted to relax once again and then looked to the side.
"Are we sure you're tired?" Alopex asked before she sat down next to him before she thought of it.
Cyro hummed as Alopex took a seat in front of him, too large to simply lay down… Cyro felt more like an animal than he believed she was dealing with.
Yet? He found her too amusing in the end. He was content with her, she understood him, and she aided him when he was busy hurting.
Right now? He wanted nothing more than to be happy… It was selfish but he was happy, far so happy.
"Tired… Not beaten, Al. I told ya… I have been down here long enough to handle myself." Cyro stated before she looked to the side.
Cyro hummed once more at the end of the day… She would not be able to relax once more.
Alopex yawned as Cyro hummed, and inclined his head before he looked down at her. She was all too thrown off at the end of the day, putting on her hands.
She poked at his nose, making him crinkle as the hulking wolf mutant looked her in the eye and then sighed again.
Both were tired now and then wanted his next move to end eventually. He was all too thrown off by her words anyway… Knowing about what he was going to get into, he was not willing to back down that easily.
Now? Now he had a lot more left to ponder, ideas within his mind were growing every second.
He rubbed his nose before sniffing the air again. So did she, smelling something like he did.
"Are you ok?" Cyro asked as she nodded before both looked to the side. "We need to get out of here. I want to find out what is going on right now." Cyro put in before he leaned up.
He had been too thrown off anyway for now… A smirk was crossed on his face as she knew what was going on with his next move.
Alopex hummed and then relaxed… Both knew better than to be so blindly trusting of what was occurring and what would come. It would end eventually for them… Yet, they hated that, they wanted nothing more than for this to all end before long.
It would continue to end now… They had more work left within them now, more to deal with for now.
They would need to keep going now anyway to get where they had to go. Work was coming faster and faster now, it hurt more.
Author notes
Phew. The next chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be delayed. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 900-6500 words. It will also show more and more of Alopex and Cyro hanging out. Until then? Lighting Wolf is out!
