A new generation of heroes has begun. Together they must work together to face not only ancient enemies from the past, but vile forces from beyond their world. Can our new heroes rise to the challenge and win the day, or will the darkness destroy their world. Only time and space can tell.

8. Chapter 8

Hello everyone, sorry for the wait, I was having a hard time staying focused while writing this chapter, and I know we just had an OC chapter, but for what I'm planning in the coming chapters, this chapter works better here instead of later.

Also The winner of the vote for the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves crossover is Fire Emblem Awakening of Galarain Trainers, and it will be a while before that crossover is out, the reason is that it takes place after the story is over, so I have to finish it first.

But here's a small summary of it, that doesn't hopefully spoil too much. Thieves and their Pokemon have stolen a dangerous relic, and the cloak figure sends a team made from the Children of the Shepherds to catch the thieves and retrieve the relic for him before something far worse than a Red Wizard can get its hands on it.

Oh and to answer a guest review form She-Ra, the story will take place in the movie, but the Fire Emblem kids won't join the story until after Edgin and Holga break out of the prison, so the first chapter will be the set up for why this is happening, and about the first 15 minutes of the movie. Then the start of the second chapter is the Fire Emblem kids meeting up with them and all I've planned so far, and before you ask, I don't know how many chapters are going to be in it yet, I haven't had the time to plan all the little things.

Chapter 8

The Twin Jungle

The Undercity

In the Undercity, the Mysticons were at work in Mika's family restaurant treating the customers, while Gregor and Abeque were out enjoying the day. And while Mika was watching Choko and looking through the book she got from the Valley of Storm the other day, still trying to figure out what was in it, everyone else was working.

With Zarya and Piper making some food with Charizard's help, Daiki, Arkayna, and Emerald waiting on the customers, Cinderace and Blaiken doing dishes, and Venusaur, Quaquaval, and Incineroar cleaning tables.

"Why are we doing this? We should be training. Not playing waiter." Arakyna said to everyone, as she gave an order to Zarya. "Come on Arkayna. It's the Zelly's wedding anniversary. It won't hurt to take a break from training, and run this place for them." Daiki said to Arkayna, as he walked up to Zarya, and took food from Zarya before walking away.

"Relax Arkayna, we just have to keep doing this for a few more hours." Zarya said to Arkayna, as she got back to work. "And since you don't want to wait tables. I'll take it, and you can sit here and watch Choko." Mika said to Arkayna, as she closed her book and put it back on her waist. Arkayna was even more mad as Mika took her job and gave her Choko. "Now keep an eye on him, I mean it." Mike said before she left Arkayna and Choko.

Arkayna watched Choko and everyone for a bit, but kept getting more and more antsy with each second that passed. "This is ridiculous, we have more important things to do than this. And if this wasn't bad enough, they have me watching Choko. He doesn't do much, why do I have to watch him. I'm going back to the base." Arkayna said, as she left, not that anyone noticed.

And once he was alone, Choko looked around and noticed no one was watching him. Once he knew that, he moved to a wooden box in the back that had a lock on it. Choko then used his claws to pick the lock, and open the box. Choko then let out a chirp before going into the box, closing the lid behind him.

A few hours later, the Mysticons, minus Arkayna, were closing the restaurant early and were just finishing cleaning the place. "Thanks for the help everyone." Mika said to everyone. "Always glad to help." Zarya said Mika. "It's always fun making the food, whenever I don't burn it or start a fire." Piper said to Mika, earning an eye roll form.

"It was a nice change of peace." Daiki said to Mika. "And it was a little fun taking people's orders. Don't you think so, Arkayna?" Emerald said to Mika, and asked Arkayna.

But there was no response. "Arkayna?" Emerald asked, as everyone looked around, and after a few minutes of looking, found out she wasn't in the restaurant any more. "Where did she go? She's not here?"

"Also where is Choko?" Daiki asked everyone, making Mika, Zarya, Piper and their Pokemon eyes widen. "Oh no!" Mika said, as they all ran to the box, confusing Daiki, Emerald, and their Pokemon, plus Arkayna's Pokemon.

Mika then opened the box, and found Choko in a food coma, with yellow goo all over the box and Choko's mouth. "ARKAYNA!" Mika yelled, sounding very angry.

Mysticons Base

Back at the base, Arkayna was in her Dragon Mage from practicing casting her fire spells on some targets, and managed to hit every single one perfectly as she jumped into the air. Arkayna then landed on the ground and flicked her hair.

"I'm on fire." Arkayna said, as she whipped the sweet of her brow with her arm, with a smirk on her face. But that's then she got sprayed by foam from a fire extinguisher, knocking her down. Then Arkayna sat up, and turned to see everyone, with Mika holding a fire extinguisher.

"Well you're not on fire any more." Mika said to Arkayna. "Mika, I know you're mad at her. but don't waste the fire extinguishers on Arkayna. We got too many Fire Type Pokemon here not to have a few full fire extinguishers laying around." Daiki said to Mika, as he took the fire extinguisher from her and put it away.

"Why did you shoot foam at me?!" Arkayna asked Mika, getting mad a little. "You don't get to be mad. I'm mad. You ditched us, and thanks to you, Choko ate all the berries." Mika said to Arkayna. "So he ate some berries? What's the big deal?" Arkayna asked Mika, making Mika huff and turn away from Arkayna, crossing her arms.

"Arkayna didn't you listen when Mika explained why someone had to watch Choko?" Zarya asked Arkayna. "Uh…" Arkayna said, clearly forgetting what they talked about later. "I'll take that as a no." Daiki said to everyone.

"Arkayna, those berries were very rare berries. And they're special to the Zellys." Zarya said to Arkayna. "How can a berry be special?" Arkayna asked Zarya. "The berries are Apis Berries, or more commonly known as Honey Berries. They called that because the juices in it taste just like honey and when mixed with food, makes it all super sweet." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"And on my parents' wedding day, they were going to have a very simple wedding, but my mother wanted her cake to be something amazing. She spent a long time perfecting the cake, and when she used the Honey Berries, she made that perfect cake, and every year she makes it for their anniversary. And this year was going to be my first time making it myself!" Mika said to Arkayna

"Also Choko has a taste for the Honey Berries, so we have to keep an eye on him otherwise he'll eat all of them." Piper said to Arkayna.

That's when Arkayna finally figured out the problem she made, and turned back to her normal form. "Oh… Uh… don't worry. I'm sure we can get more. Where can you buy them, I'll pay for them." Arkayna said to everyone, hoping to fix this problem soon.

The Undercity

The Mysticons returned to the Undercity, and were at the Stonewood Shop, where they explained the situation to Travis and Diana, making Travis and Diana look at Arkayna with a disappointed look. "So do you have any more?" Arkayna asked them, hoping for a yes.

"No." Travis and Diana said at the same time, with a clear and serious voice. "You can't be out? You have to have some in the back?" Arkayna asked them. "Arkayna, they told you that it's a rare berry, the reason it only grows on one tree in the whole world." Travis said to Arkayna.

"Well then I guess we'll just have to go to this tree and pick some berries." Arkayna said to everyone, earning a flat look from Daiki, Travis, and Daiana. "The tree he's talking about is the Twin Tree. Two great trees that grew together and became one massive, and it's not the kind of tree one can just walk up too." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"Why?" Piper asked Daiki. "Because the Twin Tree is the home of the two Queens of the Jungle." Daiana said to Piper. "Queens of the Jungle?" Emerald asked everyone.

"You all really need to go to church. A thousand years ago, there were two neighboring forests, then the Bug and Grass Types made those forests their home, and before a fight broke out over who's territory the forests were. The leaders at the time met in the middle. The two of them agreed for coexistence, and planted two trees as a sigh of that peace. Over time these two trees would symbolize coexistence, and as the two trees became one massive tree, the forest around them turned into a lush and mighty jungle. To this day, at the Heart of the Twin Jungle, the massive tree is a massive trading hub for the Pokemon of the jungle and those who travel to the Twin Tree, all under the watch of the Queens of the Bug and Grass Type Pokemon. You can find many exotic and special fruits there." Daiki said to everyone.

"I don't see the problem here?" Arkayna asked everyone. "The problem is the only way to get the Honey Berries is with the Queen's blessings, and they are selective about who they see, and to whom they give their blessings to." Travis said to Arkayna.

"If that's true then how did you get some?" Emerald asked Travis. "We have connections. But before you ask, those connections won't get any honey berries in time. The Twin Jungle is a day away." Travis said to Emerald.

"But we have griffins, I'm sure it'll be faster." Emerald said to Travis. "A day is by flying. It'll take you about 12 hours to reach it, another hour at most to get the berries, and then about 12 hours to come back. And it's a two week round trip by land." Travis said to Emerald.

"So there's nothing you can do?" Arkayna asked them. "Nope. We keep some saved for the Zelleys, but we don't have any spares, you should have done your job properly. And good luck trying to find anyone with some Honey Berries, those things sell out fast." Travis said to Arkayna.

And Travis was right. The Mysticons spent the next hour going around town looking for any Honey Berries, but couldn't find a single one, and now they were at the Zelly family restaurants, with Mika passing back and forth, her hands on her head, and everyone sitting around the restaurant watching her, with all of their Pokemon in their Pokeballs.

"What am I going to do?! My mother is expecting us to have the cake made before they get back." Mika said to everyone. "Can't you just make the cake without the Honey Berries?" Arkayna asked Mika.

"Most of it, yes. But I can't do the frosting without it. And if I did, they noticed immediately. The taste is something my family knows all too well." Mika said to Arkayna. "Isn't there something we can do?" Emerald asked Mika.

"Yes, we can go back in time and make Arkayna take her job seriously. Or we can just magically turn the door into a door that leads to the Twin Jungle." Mika said to Emerald, sarcasm in her voice.

"Well I can't time travel so that's off the table." Daiki said to mika. "I was being sarcastic!" Mika said to Daiki, getting annoyed, as Arkayna had an idea. "But we can make a door to the Twin Jungle." Arkayna said, making everyone look at her.

"What are you talking about?" Mika asked Arkayna. "Your new power. You can open portals. You just have to open one form here to there." Arkayna said to Mika. "I only unlocked that power the other day, and every portal I've opened so far has only form one side of the room to the other, the Twin Jungle will push it. I don't even know where it is." Mika said to Arkayna.

"Not to mention that the place is a maze of trees and plants. If we don't appear on one of the few paths that go through the forest, we can get lost easily." Daiki said to Arkayna. "I'm sure it'll be fine. So Mika, open the portal." Arkayna said to Daiki. "I just say I don't know where it is." Mika said to Arkayna, as Daiki sighed.

"Give me the book?" Daiki asked Mika. Mika said nothing and handed him the book. Daiki flipped through the pages, and stopped on a page of a massive jungle with the plants so over growed, that you couldn't see any soil, many small rivers cutting through the jungle, and in the middle of the jungle was a great tree with two types of wood woven around in perfect harmony.

"Here's the Twin Jungle." Daiki said to Mika, giving her the book back. Mika looked at the image for a bit. "Okay. I guess we're doing this. Let's just be quick." Mika said, as she opened a portal with the image of the Twin Jungle.

But everyone just looks at the portal, not ready to make a move. "Okay, who's first?" Piper asked everyone. "Well since Arkayna's the reason we're in this mess, she's first." Daiki said to everyone, as he pushed Arkayna into the portal, followed by him going in.

Then Emerald, Piper, Zarya, and Choko went through the portal. Lastly Mika took a deep breath, and walked through the portal, making it close behind her.

The Twin Jungle

The portal worked, Mika found herself in the Twin Jungle. But Mika's portal opened in the air above a river, making her fall into the river with a big splash. Mika then burst out of the water, and tried her best to stay above water as the currant of the river dragged her down river.

While trying to stay above water, Mika saw the rest of the Mysticons further down the river, also trying to keep their heads above water, and to preoccupied by not drawing to call out their Pokemon, and watched as a fork in the river appeared, and Daiki and Arkayna went down one way, and the rest of them went another way.

After a bit, Mika, Zarya, Piper, Emerald, and Choko part of the river became a waterfall, and they all fell down into a small lake surrounded by large trees and thick foliage above them.

But their troubles weren't over yet. Once they crashed into the lake, they ended up getting caught in an underwater web, but luckily Mika crashed into Zarya and didn't get caught in the webbing.

Mika then tried to get everyone out the web, but it was too sticky for her to rip them off it. And right before they lost their breath, the naginata El had the other day was sent flying into the water, landing next to Mika.

Not questioning it, or having time to think about it, Mika grabbed the naginata, and used it to cut everyone free, letting them all swim to the surface, and catch their breath with a big gasp.

"Okay, what's going on?!" Zarya asked Mika, anger in her voice. "If you're talking about why the portal was over the river, why was their webbing at the bottom at the bottom of the lake, or where this naginata came from. The answer to all of those is a big fat, I DON'T KNOW!" Mika said to Zarya, yelling at her with that last part.

"At least we're out of danger. We should go looking for Arkayna and Daiki." Emerald said to everyone, as they pulled themselves out of the water. "You make it sound easy. We're in a thick jungle with no idea where we are, we have no idea where the river took Daiki and Arkayna, and-." Mika said to Emerald, as something burst out of the water. "And we have to deal with the problem at hand." Mika said to Emerald, as the water washed away, and they saw something standing on the water.

The thing was a 6 foot big water bug, with six sick green color legs with the end of the legs being thin black spikes and the middle of the legs was light blue bubble joints, it had a small dark blue body with three black lines on it's back, a tiny sick green cone on it's butt, a large black head with three dark blue bumps on top of his head, four fangs on the bottom, on the side of it's head was two large dark blue eye with light blue swiggle for irises, and the hole head was encased in a large water bubble.

"Araquanid!" The beast roared at them in a rage. "What is that?!" Emerald asked everyone, as she pulled out her sword. "I think that's a Pokemon. But I don't know why he sounds angry." Mika said to Emerald.

"Araquanid, ara, ara, araquanid!" Araquanid said, pointing one of legs at Mika's naginata, making everyone look to see some webbing still on it. "Oh. He's upset that I cut up his home." Mika said to everyone, as the tip of Araquanid's legs became encased in water, and he jumped into the air and towards Mika.

"AND HE'S OUT FOR REVENGE!" Mika yelled, and they all shattered, avoiding Araquanid attack, but not being used to walking on trees, everyone tripped and fell onto the stomach.

This let Araquanid charge at Mika. "Charizard, come out and use Flamethrower!" Mika said, as she let out Charizard. "Charizard!" Charizard said, as he let out a stream of fire at Araquanid.

But the fire hit Araquanid's water bubble, doing nothing but making the water hot and bothered Araquanid a little. "Araquanid." Araquanid said, as the tip of Araquanid's legs glowed sick green.

Then Araquanid jumped into the trees above them and started to skitter around, making it hard for everyone to keep track of him. Then before anyone noticed, Araquanid came down and smacked Charizard in the back, forcing him onto his belly.

"Araquanid." Araquanid said, as his fangs glowed white, and he moved up to Charizard, biting down hard on his snot, hurting Charizard a lot, and also holding the upper part of his head in the water, partially drowning him.

"Charizard!" Mika said, as she moved towards Charizard and Araquanid, the staff end of her naginata pointed at them. But once again, she fumbled, and this time she tried to stay on her feet, leading her to miss Charizard and Araquanid. But she was able to hit Araquanid's water bubble with the blade of her naginata, making it pop.

And once it popped, Araquanid let go of Charizard, and started to breathe heavily, like it couldn't breathe. Araquanid then ran to the water and dunched his head into it. When he raised his head out of the water, he had a new bubble around his head.

"Araquanid." Araquanid said, as the tip of Araquanid's legs became encased in water and rushed Charizard and Mika.

"Charizard use Air Slash." Mika said to Charizard. "Charizard!" Charizard said, as she flapped his wings at Araquanid, firing wind blades at him. And while the blade missed Araquanid, one of the wind blades popped his bubble, making Araquanid stop his attack, and run back to the water, gasping for air.

"Why does it keep doing that?" Piper asked everyone, as Araquanid dunked his head into the water again. "Maybe he can't breathe air and needs that bubble to survive on land?" Emerald said to everyone, as Araquanid raised his head and turned to Mika and Charizard again.

Releasing this might waste a lot of their time, Mika tossed a Pokeball at Araquanid, sucking him into it. The Pokemon shook three times, with the last one feeling like it took forever, and clicked, catching him.

"Why did you do that?" Zarya asked Mika, as Mika moved to the Pokeball and picked it up. "Well I did mess up his home, so I figured I would help him get a new one after he calmed down a little. Plus he was very agile, we could use a Pokemon like that. But mainly I just didn't want to waste our time fighting him if the fight was going to have a time out whenever his bubble popped. We need to get moving." Mika said to Zarya, as she put the Pokeball away.

"Okay then let's take to the air and find out where we are." Emerald said to everyone. "Good idea Emerald." Piper said to Emerald, as she let out Pidgeot, Emerald let out Toucannon, and Zarya let out Corviknight, with Choko hopping into Zarya's shoulders.

Then everyone Zarya and Mika hopped onto their Pokemon's back, and Piper and Emeralds Pokemon equipping onto their backs. "Okay everyone let's fly." Zarya said to everyone, as they took off into the air.

But as they tried to fly through the foliage above, they got tangled and stopped by all the small branches and vines, getting them stuck, and when they finally broke free, they all fell to the ground making a dent in the ground.

Meanwhile Daiki and Arkayna manage to get off the river thanks to an off river lagoon, but was still surrounded by large trees and thick foliage like the others, but unlike the others, nothing attacked them.

And once they gathered a little of their strength, Akrayna let out Kilowattrel, and flew into the air, only to end up getting stuck and falling down like the others. All the while Daiki looked at her with a serious look and crossed his arms.

"I tried to tell you. You can't fly out of here. The Twin Jungles' foliages are too thick for anyone to fly through it." Daiki said to Akrayna, as Arkayna shook her head and got up.

"Well I had to try something." Arkayna said to Daiki. "Yes, ignoring me and crashing was very good use of our time." Daiki said to Arkayna, sarcasm in his voice. "Enough with the sarcasm. Help me find the others." Arkayna said to Daiki.

"Did you not listen to me when I told you we'd get lost if we're not on a path. We can look around all we want, but without a clue where to go, we'll just get even more lost. It's best we head for the Twin Tree and hope the others are heading there as well." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"And we'll get there how?" Arkayna asked Daiki. "We need a guide. Give me a second and I'll make some appear." Daiki said to Arkayna, as he moved to a tree and started to beat it, making a simple rhythm from the banging.

Daiki kept banging for a couple of minutes, annoying Arkayna, but getting the attention of two creatures.

One was a round blue floating creator, with round red eyes and with a ball of cotton on the top of it's head, and the end of it's arms

And the next one was a two foot big tumble with a couple thorns in it, and two black seeds with red lines in it floating like eyes.

"Oh a Jumpluff and Bramblin. Perfect." Daiki said, as he stopped banging. "Who are those two perfect?" Arkayna asked Daiki.

"Jumpluff, the Cottonweed Pokemon, a Grass and Flying Type. Jumpluff travels on seasonal winds. Once its cotton spores run out, its journey ends, as does its life. And Bramblin, The Tumbleweed Pokemon, a Grass and Ghost Type. Not even Bramblin knows where it is headed as it tumbles across the wilderness, blown by the wind. It loathes getting wet. Both of their kind are known for traveling around the jungle and know it better than anyone." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"Hello. We need to get to the Twin Tree. Can you help us?" Daiki asked Jumpluff and Bramblin. "Jumpluff/Bramblin." The two of them said, sounding like a yes, before leading the way, with Daiki following them. And Arkayna huffing a little before returning Kilowattrel and going after the others.

Meanwhile with the others they were stumbling through the Jungle, with Mika cutting though some of the foliage with her naginata, and everyone getting tied with their Pokemon in their Pokeballs.

"This is getting annoying." Zarya said to Mika. "Well we can't fly, so we don't have a choice." Mika said to Zarya. "There's got to be a faster way to get through this." Zarya said to Mika. "Besides using your weapons to help cut, there is none." Mika said to Zarya, as Zarya had an idea.

"Who needs to cut anything, when we can just blow things away." Zarya said, as she let out Zarya said, as she let out Cinderace. "Cinderace use Pyro Ball, and clear a way for us." Zarya said to Cinderace, as she tossed him a pebble towards him.

"Cinderace." Cinderace said, as he kicked the pebble around and turned it into a fireball, then kicked it into the foliage clearing the way for everyone, and starting a few tiny fires. "Nice work Cinderace." Zarya said to Cinderace. "I won't compliment him, he's started a fire, and I don't think the Pokemon of the jungle will like anything on fire." Mika said to Zarya, before they heard something skittering around them, putting out the fires.

That's when they noticed a big red centipede, with yellow circles on the under half of it, two stingers on the side of its head and tail, yellow eyes, and four streams of flames coming out of its face and end.

Once the fires were out the centipede turned to Cinderace. "Centiskorch!" The centipede said, as he rushed Cinderace, and wrapped his body around Cinderace, squeezing hard, making Cinderace groan in pain.

"Cinderace use Flame Charge to get out of that." Zarya said to Cinderace. "Cinderace." Cinderace said, as he set himself on fire.

But Centiskorch was unaffected by this, and he made sharp glowing white teeth appear in his mouth. Then Centiskorch bit down into Cinderace's neck, making Cinderace scream in pain.

Fighting through the pain, Cinderace jumped back into a tree, smashing Centiskorch's head against it. This gave Centiskorch a headache, and he got off Cinderace.

Cinderace immediately turned to Centiskorch, and headbutt Centiskorch multiple times, making cracks appear in the tree's break.

While pulling back for another headbutt, Centiskorch rolled up into a circle, and set himself on fire, rolling away, making Cinderace crash into the tree.

Cinderace shook off the headache he got, and turned to Centiskorch, who stopped rolling and looked at Cinderace. Both of them smirked at each other and got into a fighting stance.

Meanwhile Arkayna, Daiki, Jumpluff, and Bramblin were walking through the jungle, having no problems. But that didn't stop Arkayna from complaining every step of the way.

"This place is disgusting. There's no paved roads, bugs everywhere, and I've tripped way too many-." Arkayna said to Daiki, as she swatted some tiny bugs away from her, not noticing the root, and once again tripped and fell to the ground.

"You know, if you just paid attention you won't keep tripping." Daiki said to Arkayna, as they all stopped and looked at Arkayna. "I hate this place." Arkayna said to Daiki. "Hey city girl, we're here because you didn't watch Choko." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"Well sorry for thinking training is more important than working at Mika's restaurant." Akrayna said to Daiki, as she got up and cleaned herself up a little, sounding arrogant. "And that thought process of yours is why I choose Gawayne over you." Daiki said to Arkayna.

And once Daiki said that, they both froze, with an annoyed look on Arkayna's face, and Daiki covering his mouth with his hand and worried look on his face. "What was that?" Arkayna asked Daiki, a little anger in her voice.

Back with the others, Cinderace and Centiskorch were still fighting, enjoying it. But they stopped fighting when they heard something thrashing around in the jungle.

It was a 5 foot stag beetle, standing on two thick round legs with three flat white claws for toes, with two claws in the front and one in the back, a wide oval mouth that went up and down, with teeth on the side of his mouth, he had two long thin arms that ends with small hands with three white claws for fingers, his eyes were closed, and on top of his head was two massive pincers with tiny spikes scatter in the pincers.

"Pinsir!" The stag beetle yelled in pain, as he ran around, smashing into everything. "Look out!" Zarya said to Centiskorch, pushing Centiskorch out of the way of Pinsir, making Pinsir smash through a tree.

"And to think that could have been you." Zarya said to Centiskorch. "Centiskorch." Centiskorch said to Zarya, sounding like a thank you, before they all got back to running around, dodging Pinsir.

While dodging Pinsir, Piper noticed he was hopping around on one foot, and then noticed the burn on the foot he was keeping in the air. "Blaziken, I need you to hold him down." Piper said, as she let out Blaziken.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken said, as he jumped into the air, and came down on Pinsir's back, forcing Pinsir into the ground and pinning him. "Pinsir!" Pinsir said, freaking out a little. "Hey it's okay. I just want to help. You must have gotten burned from the fire Cinderace started." Piper said to Pinsir, slowly walking towards Pinsir, and pulling out some cream.

"I used to get burned a lot when I was playing with Blaziken when he was young. I know how pain full they can be. But this will help." Piper said to Pinsir, as she started to rub some cream onto his foot, claiming Pinsir down and relieving the pain.

"There, you're okay." Piper said to Pinsir, as Piper moved away from Pinsir, Blaziken got off Pinser, and Pinser stood up.

Pinser then hugged Piper, making Piper giggle. "You're welcome." Piper said to Pinsir, through the giggles.

"Sorry to bother you, but we should get going and find the others." Emerald said to everyone. "Right we should go." Mika said to everyone, as they started to move. But before they could take a step, Centiskorch got in front of Zarya, and Pinsir grabbed Piper's arms.

"You want to come with us?" Piper asked Centiskorch and Pinsir. "Centiskorch/Pinsir!" and Pinsir said, nodding yes. "Why not. We could use some help." Zarya said, as she used a pokeball to catch Centiskorch. "And with that power of yours, I'm sure things will be easier." Piper said to Pinsir, as she pulled out a Pokeball and caught Pinsir.

"Now that's out of the way. Can we get back to walking? We have a lot to do and very little time to do it." Mika said to everyone, as she walked away in a hurry, with everyone quickly going after her.

Meanwhile, Arkayna was giving Daiki a serious look, while Daiki had a concerned look on his face, and the Pokemon looked at them in confusion.

"Now Daiki, what was that about choosing Gawayne over me?" Arkayna asked Daiki, making Daiki sigh.

"Fine, remember when Gawayne said he was going to be king after Dreadbane attack?" Daiki asked Arkayna. "Yes?" Arkayna said to Daiki, confused that he was talking about it.

"Well, while you were upset by everything and didn't care about fact checking Gawayne, I did. And since your mother failed the most important part of being a queen, I ended up having to deal with the mess she made." Daiki said to Arkayna. "My mother didn't fail at anything." Arkayna said to Daiki.

"She failed to leave clear orders over who was going to be next in line to rule. Your mother arrogantly thought she would have all the time in the world and thought she would live for a very long time. Because of that, she left no plans for anything, and it was my order who had to try and figure out how to move forward. We talked about this for a long while and worked out many problems. But we argued about whether it was you or Gawayne that would take the throne the most. Because you are the blood hair, and Gawayne was the oldest of the kids. In the end it was me who had to make a choice, and I chose Gawayne over you." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"Why would you pick Gawayne over me? He's lazy, selfish, and mean." Arkayna said to Daiki.

"And he's harmless. He might be in great pain on my lower end, but at least he magable. You on the other hand, you would destroy the realm." Daiki said to Arkayna. "I wouldn't destroy the realm." Arkayna said to Daiki.

"I doubt that. You're single minded. It was your rush to get the codex that made you miss the whole team work part of our first training session. It was you rushing for the dragon book that caused you to end up in danger. You crash Gawayne coronation because you let his childishness get under your skin leading to Gawayne easily getting kidnapped, and all your training it's not about protecting the realm or saving your mother. It's all about El. You're upset that she caused your mother to get turned to bone, and that you haven't made her pay for it." Daiki said to Arkayna.

That's when an image of El with a mocking look on her face flashed in Arkayna's mind. "After everything she's done. You can't tell me you don't want to bring her to justice." Arkayna said to Daiki, with an angry look on her face.

"You make it sound like catching her will be a simple thing. We haven't gotten close to defeating her in battle, and each time we face her she's been messing with us." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"That's why we have to train. If we're ever going to catch her." Arkayna said to Daiki. "And while you train, you're failing at your responsibilities. Isn't that why we're here. Because you chose training over responsibility? Just another reason why you're unfit to be queen." Daiki said to Arkayna, as they both gave each other mean looks.

Back with the others, they somehow found themselves in front of a large isolated lake with large orange stones scattered in the lake with pebbles of the orange stone around the edge, and while the tree branches above covered the lake, there were no plants around it. "Oh good some water I need a drink after all this walking." Zarya said, as she walked to the lake, and used her hands to scoop up some water and take a drink.

But once the water hit her lips, she spat it out. "It's salty." Zarya said to everyone, dropping the water, and rubbing her hands on the clothes. "But this is a lake in the middle of a jungle. How can it be salty?" Emerald asked everyone, as Mika picked up one of the many orange stones.

Mika then rubbed her thumb on the rock for a couple seconds. Once she was done, she licked her thumb, and realized the stones were salt. "These stones are salt, must have turned the water in the lake into salt water." Mika said to everyone, before tossing the rock away.

"But why would all these salt rocks be here?" Piper asked everyone. "Well salt does hurt plants. The Pokemon around here must have dug up any salt and dumped it here." Mika said to everyone. "But why dump it in water?" Zarya asked everyone, before they heard a rock smash. "I guess someone lives here." Mika said to Zarya, as they moved to the sources of the sound, with Mika not moving.

"Sure, let's go looking for a strange sound in the jungle. What can go wrong?" Mika asked, sarcastically, as she went after everyone else.

Following the sound, they found a massive bug with hard scale standing on two legs with thick thighs and thin feet with a black claw for a toe, a curved body with armor scales on the back with curve scales on the side on the armor, black eyes with purple lines around his eyes, six arms with four them them being skinny with tiny black claws, and the other two starting skinny and end large with thick scale armor hands with two large black claws.

"Golisopod!" the bug said, as he made a blade of water, and slashed a rock into two pieces. "Guess that's what's making the noise." Emerald said to everyone, as they hid behind a rock, while also making Golisopod notice them.

"Golisopod!" Golisopod said, as he pointed his large right arm at everyone, and fired sick green energy spikes from his claws at everyone. "Whoa!" Mika said, as they scattered, dogging the spikes as it smashed the rock.

Then Golisopod turned to Emerald, and lunged at her at fight speed, making a very intimidating first impression on her. "Whoa!" Emerald yelled, as she changed into her Mysticon Knight and used her sword to block Golisopod's attack.

"Golisopod." Golisopod said, sounding impressed before jumping back. Golisopod then summoned a water blade, and got into a fighting stance. "I see. You want a clash of swords. Then bring it on." Emerald said, as she got into a fighting stance.

The two of them stood in silence, ready for either of them to make the first move. "Uh? What's going on?" Piper asked Mika and Zarya, as they regrouped. "Looks like the two of them are going to have a duel, a test of skill, a clash of mettle." Mika said to Piper.

"But aren't they using water and magic swords and not steel swords?" Piper asked mika. "No, that's metal. I said mettle." Mika said to Piper. "You just said the same thing twice." Piper said to Mika. "Mettle isn't stuff like iron. It's more like how they adapt with difficulties, in a positive and resilient kinda way." Mika said to Piper.

That's when a muscle from both Emerald and Golisopod twitched, and they charged at each other, clashing in the middle, making sparks of sparkly water. Then they pushed forward a little before jumping back.

Both did a spin with their swords before charging at each other again. Then they kept trading blows and blocking each other's attacks, making more sparks of sparkly water, all the while the two of them smirked at each other.

They fought like this for a few minutes, before they stopped, catching their breath. "You're pretty good. I could spend all day fighting you." Emerald said to Golisopod. "Golisopod." Golisopod said, sounding like he agreed.

"Except we don't have all day." Mika said to Emerald and Golisopod, walking up to Emerald and taking one of her Pokeballs. Mika then threw the Pokeball at Golisopod, catching him.

"Why did you do that? We were in the middle of a battle?" Emerald asked Mika, as Mika walked to the Pokeball and picked it up. "You can finish this battle later." Mika said to Emerald, as she tossed the Pokeball to Emerald, with Emerald dropping her sword and catching it a panicked look on her face.

"Now come on, we wasted most of the day here, and we're no closer to finding the berries or the others." Mika said to everyone, as she started to walk again. "Then why don't you try a portal again?" Piper asked Mika, making her stop and turn to Piper.

"Did you forget how we got into this mess to begin with? Another portal is a bad idea." Mika said to Piper. "Like walking around is any better?" Zarya asked Mika.

Mika then sighed. "Fine. I'll open a portal, and I'll focus on Arkayna and Daiki, hopefully that'll lead us to them." Mika said, as she closed her eyes, and focused on Arkayna and Daiki.

But that's when something special happened, her naginata started to glow pink, and the damage on it started to become undone.

The handle became white metal with pink leather handles, the cracks in the blade faded away, and the pearl in it started to glow pink.

Then, like her body acted on its own, she grabbed the naginata, and slashed the air, making an oval-shaped portal at an angle. And unlike the other portals, this one was transparent, letting everyone see Arkayna and Daiki on the other side, and also hearing them argue on the other side.

"Of course you would bring that up as well. It's not such a big deal." Arkayna said to Daiki. "You completely ditched a religious ceremony for a stupid handbag, it's a complete discarded of culture, a.k.a, a big deal." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"Well sorry if I thought a ceremony where we thank nothing wasn't important." Arkayna said to Daiki, not sounding sorry at all. "No you're not. And we weren't thanking nothing. We were thanking the elements for all they have given us, which you would know if you bothered to show up for anything at church." Daiki said to Arkayna.

"Like there's anything to learn from your outdated church!" Arkayna said to Daiki. "Outdated! You take that back!" Daiki said to Arkayna, sounding mad.

"Ah hem!" Mika said, making Daiki and Arkayna notice everyone, with Emerald back in her normal form. "I hate to disturbed you're arguing, not really, but we're running out of time." Mika said to them.

"Girls, where have you been?" Arkayna asked them. "Well first we washed up in Araquanid's underwater web, breaking it to get freed, angering Araquanid, leading to Mika catching him. Then while walking around Zarya started to fire, getting the attention of the Centiskorch she caught, as well as burning the foot of Pinsir I caught. Lastly Emerald had a duel with the Golisopod she caught." Piper said to them.

"So you girls gained a Araquanid, The Water Bubble Pokemon, a Water and Bug Type. A caring Pokemon, who carries their pre-evolved form, Dewpider, around inside its water bubble to protect them as it walks. It protects its food in its bubble too. A Centiskorch, the Radiator Pokemon, a Fire and Bug Type. When it heats up, its body temperature reaches about 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit. And it lashes its body like a whip and launches itself at enemies. A Pinsir, The StagBeetle Pokemon, a Bug Type. a Pokemon that camps its pincers down on its targets and then either deals major damage or fling it away. And a Golisopod The Hard Scale Pokemon, a Water and Bug Type. Who will do anything to win, taking advantage of every opening and finishing opponents off with the small claws on its front legs." Daiki said to everyone.

"I see you got new Pokemon as well." Zarya said to Daiki, looking at Jumpluff, and Bramblin. "That's Jumpluff, and Bramblin. They're just guides, we haven't caught them yet. They were going to take us to the Twin Tree before we did anything else. And we're still far from it." Daiki said to Zarya.

"Not for long. Apparently this thing helps with my portals. We should be able to get to the Twin Tree now." Mika said to Daiki, showing Daiki the naginata. "Where did you get that?" Arkayna asked Mika.

"No idea, it was just tossed into the water, and it looked pretty bad a few minutes ago. But it helps with the accuracy of my portals." Mika said to Daiki. "Can it?" Arkayna asked Mika.

"Let me show you." Mika said, as she opened her book to the pages of the Twin Jungle, and focused on the Twin Tree. Then Mika's naginata glowed pink and she slashed an oval into the air, opening a portal to the base of the Twin Tree. "Come on, we spent too much time wandering around this jungle." Mika said to everyone, as she pushed everyone into the portal.

On the other side of the portal they found themselves before a giant tree, one so tall they couldn't see the top or could see around it. "Look at this thing. It's enormous!" Piper said to everyone. "Wait till you see inside. This way." Daiki said to Piper, before leading everyone to a side of the tree.

But the tree was so massive that it took them a few minutes to find an entrance into the tree. The entrance was decorated with many colorful flowers with a Yanmega and a Tangrowth standing guard.

"How do we get past those guards?" Arkayna asked everyone. "With no trouble at all. Just follow me. And be quiet." Daiki said to Arkayna, as he walked ahead of everyone, with Jumpluff, and Bramblin following him, without a care in the world.

Everyone watched as Daiki just walked through the guards having no trouble, followed by Jumpluff and Bramblin who also had no trouble. Seeing this, the rest of the Mysticons walked towards the entrance, being quiet as they walked through the entrance, also having no problems.

Once inside the tree, all of their jaws dropped, for what they saw was a hollowed out tree that had branches growing on the inside, lights on the top that felt like sunlight, a massive column in the center of the tree, and all over the place was Bug and Grass Type Pokemon running fruit and plant stalls, trading with other types of Pokemon and even some of the races of the world like elves harpies and humans for example.

"Whoa! Look at this place! To think a place like this could be run by Pokemon, it's like a city in here." Arkayna said to everyone. "It is a city, or at the very least a trading hub. And just because Pokemon can't talk like us, it doesn't mean they don't know how to run things like we do if not better. Now come on, the Queens are up top." Daiki said to Arkayna, as he led everyone to the massive column.

Once they got to the column, they found a massive stairwell in it, with each step being very large. "Everyone watch your step and try to pass yourself, this place the stairwell is meant for large Pokemon, so it's a little rough on people or smaller Pokemon." Daiki said to everyone, as he started to go up the stairwell, while everyone looked up and could see the end of the stairwell.

"Just how large is this thing?" Piper asked Daiki, as Daiki stopped and looked at everyone. "About a mile." Daiki said to Piper, shocking everyone. "A mile! I'm not doing that! Can't we just use our flying Pokemon or open a portal?" Arkayna asked Daiki.

"If we do, the Queens will deny us an audience. Unless it's an emergency, they see only those who reach them through hard work and can make it to the top, this way they know you're serious about talking to them, and not going to waste their time on something selfish or pointless. So start walking." Daiki said to Arkayna, as he got back to walking. Everyone groaned before following Daiki.

The walk up the stairwell took a very long time, with everyone, but Daiki, breathing heavily as they got closer to the top. But once they reached the top, they were stopped by a handful of Beedrill and a wall of Combee blocking the entrance.

"Beedrill, bee, bee, beedrill." a Beedril guard asked everyone, asking what they were doing here. "We come to see the Queens, and if you need proof that we mean no harm. Venusaur come on out." Daiki said to the Beedrill, as she let out Venusaur.

"Venusaur, ven, ven venusaur. Venusaur ven." Venusaur said to Beedrill, sounding like he was explaining why they were here. "Beedrill. Beedrill." The Beedrill said to Venusaur, sounding like an okay, before turning to the Combee wall, and ordering them, sound like move it.

"Combee." The Combees said, as they moved, letting everyone in. "Thank you." Daiki said to the Beedrills and Combees, as they all walked past them and entered the throne room.

The throne room of the Twin Tree was a golden room with pools of honey all around the place, in the back was a large tree with gold leaves and gold veins running through it, with the roots of the tree in the pools of honey, and in the tree was round green berries with a gold circle where a gold stem connected it to the tree.

And sitting before the tree was an Arboliva, and sitting behind her on the tree was a Vespiquen. On the tree was some Smolivs, who were just hanging around, and taking care of some eggs by Arboliva was some Dolliv, with the eggs on the left of Arbvolia gold color with hexagons all over it, and on the right of Arboliva light green with the top of the eggs having four green leaf patterns.

"Arboliva? Ar, ar, arboliva?" Arboliva asked everyone, wondering why they were here. "Your majesty Arboliva, we are here for some Honey Berries. We don't ask for much and we come far for them so please. Will you and Queen Vespiquen give us some?" Daiki asked Arboliva.

"Vespiquen. Ves, ves?" Vespiquen asked Daiki, wondering why they ask for Honey Berries. "You see it's Mika's parents' anniversary and they always use Honey Berries for their anniversary cake, and Arkayna let our pet eat the ones we had, so we need new Honey Berries." Daiki said to Vespiquen.

"Vespiquen." Vespiquen said, as she and Arboliva moved forward off their thrones and into the middle of the room, and the Dolliv and Smolivs moved to protect the eggs.

"Arboliva, ar, ar." Arboliva said, jestering an arm towards the tree in the back, sounding like if you want some. "Vespiquen, ves ves vespiquen." Vespiquen said, sounding like you'll have to defeat us, before she and Arboliva got into a fighting stance.

"It looks like they want a fight if we want the Honey Berries." Daiki said to everyone. "Okay, but who's fighting?" Zarya asked Daiki.

"Vespiquen/Arvoliva." Vespiquen and Arvoliva said, with Vespiquen pointing to Mika, and Arvoliva pointing to Arkayna and Bramblin. "Looks like they want to face Mika and Arkayna, and given where we are, Mika's only option is Araquanid, given that this place is too small and fragile for flores like Charizard and Skarmory." Daiki said to everyone.

"I guess we have no choice or time to argue." Mika said as she let out Araquanid, who wasn't happy about this. "I don't even know this Pokemon." Arkayna said to everyone, as Bramblin moved forward.

"Too bad, now fight." Daiki said to Arkayna, as Araquanid started to skitter around without any commands, making it hard for everyone to keep track of him. Then before anyone noticed, Araquanid came behind Arboliva, and tried to smack Arboliva.

"Vespiquen!" Vespiquen said, before firing a swarm of bees made out of green energy came out from her honeycomb dress. The bees formed armor around Arboliva blocking most of the damage.

"Arboliva." Arboliva said, as she spun around, slapping Araquanid away, before letting out a surge of petals, blowing Araquanid towards Bramblin. "Bramblin." Bramblin said as he sank into the shadows dodging Araquanid.

"So Araquanid used Skitter Smack, Vespiquen used Defend Order, Arboliva used Petal Dance, and Bramblin used Phantom Force to dodge Araquanid." Daiki said to everyone. "The commentary doesn't help. How can I make him listen to me?" Arkayna asked Daiki, pointing to the spot Dramblin disappeared from.

"Phantom Force is about patience, until he comes out of the shadows, all you can do is wait." Daiki said to Arkayna. "Great, he's just as useless in battle like you." Arkayna said to Daiki, making Daiki huff. "It helps keep him safe, he's not useless." Daiki said to Arkayna.

That's when Bramblin came out of the shadows and tried to attack Vespiquen, only to get swatted away by Arboliva. Arboliva then placed her arm on the back of Vespiquen, making them both glow white.

"Vespiquen!" Vespiquen said, as she flapped her wings, firing wind blades at Araquanid and Bramblin.

"Bramblin." Bramblin said, as he fired glowing green seeds at one of the wind blades, blowing it up

"Araquanid." Araquanid said, as he encased his legs in water, and slashed the other windblade smashing it.

"So Arboliva used Helping Hand and Vespiquen used Air Slash. The two queens must expect to fight a lot of Bug and Grass Pokemon. And they were lucky that Bramblin used Bullet Seed, and Araquanid used Liquidation to stop the attacks." Daiki said to everyone. "Will you shut up!" Arkayna said to Daiki, getting annoyed with him.

"Arboliva." Arboliva said, as she fired glowing green seeds at Araquanid. The seeds hit Araquanid, making vines grow out of it and wrapping around Araquanid.

"Bramblin." Bramblin said, as he looked at Araquanid, and shook letting out tiny sick green bugs. The bugs travel up Araquanid, eating the vines off Araquanid, freeing him.

"Araquanid." Araquanid said, as his fangs glowed white, and he charged at Vespiquen and Arboliva.

"Vespiquen." Vespiquen said, as she fired a swarm of bees made out of green energy came out from her honeycomb dress, heading for Araquanid. This forced Araquanid to stop his attack and jump back, avoiding the attack.

"Now Arboliva used Leech Seed, Bramblin used Infestation, Araquanid used Crunch, and Vespiquen used Attack Order." Daiki said to everyone. "Daiki enough with your commentary." Arkayna said to Daiki, getting annoyed with him.

"Arboliva." Arboliva said, as she rubbed her arms together and formed a ball of pollen. Arboliva then threw the ball of pollen at them, making Araquanid jump up and Bramblin rolled back.

"Araquanid." Araqianid said, as he tried to come down on them, his fangs glowing sickly green.

"Vespiquen." Vespiquen said, as she fired purple goo into Araqianid's water bubble, blinding him, and making him crash into the floor.

"Bramblin!" Bramblin said, as a twinkle flashed from his right eye, and black lighting traveled through Vespiquen's body.

"And lastly Arboliva used Pollen Puff, Araquanid used Leech Life, Vespiquen used Toxic, Bramblin used Disable to prevent Vespiquen from using Toxic again." Daiki said to everyone. "DAIKI BE QUIET! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO HELP! SO JUST STAND THERE AND BE QUIET!" Arkayna yelled at Daiki, having it with Daiki's commentary. Daiki said nothing, but looked at her with a very angry look.

"Arboliva." Arboliva said, as she spun around letting out a surge of petals, blowing Araquanid towards, blowing Araquanid back towards everyone, forcing the purple goo out of his water bubble in the process.

"Arkayna calm down. We need to focus. Both Vespiquen and Arboliva are very tough. If we have any chance of defeating them, then we have to keep a cool head." Mika said to Arkayna.

"What do you purpose we do?" Arkayna asked Mika, as Mika looked at their tired Pokemon. But then Mika had an idea.

"Araquanid. I need you to listen to me and do exactly what I say. I have a plan that might work, but you have to trust me." Mika said to Araquanid. Araquanid looked at Mika then the queens, and seeing how he hadn't been able to do anything, he huffed an okay.

"Arkayna, have Bramblin hope onto Araquanid's back." Mika said to Arkayna, earning a confused look. "Okay." Arkayna said to Mika, still confused. "You heard her Barmblin hop onto Araquanid's back." Arkayna said to Bramblin. "Bramblin." Bramblin said, as he hopped onto Araquanid's back, and hooked one of his branches on one of Araquanid's legs.

"Now hold on tight Bramblin, as Araquanid use Skitter Smack." Mika said to Bramblin and Araquanid. "Bramblin?!" Bramblin asked, sounding like a what. "Araquanid." Araquanid said, as he started to skitter around the room, making it hard for everyone to keep track of him, with Bramblin having a hard time holding on. Then before anyone noticed, Araquanid came behind Arboliva again.

"Now stop Araquanid!" Mika said to Araquanid. "Araquanid?!" Araquanid asked, confused, but he did stop like she asked.

This caused Bramblin to get sent flying off Araquanid. And before Arboliva could react, Bramblin had already crashed into her back, getting stuck. "ARBOLIVA!" Arboliva said, as she tried to get Bramblin off her, but her arms couldn't bend backwards to grab him.

"Now I get it! Bramblin use Infestation." Arkayna said to Mika and Bramblin. "Bramblin." Bramblin said, shaking, letting out tiny sick green bugs. The bugs travel through Arboliva, causing her to let out a green pulse that covers the floor, all the while jumping up and down, trying to scratch herself.

"Vespiquen!" Vespiquen said, as she fired wind blades at Bramblin, trying to get him off Arboliva.

"Bramblin use Phantom Force to dodge those wind blades." Arkayna said to Bramblin. "Bramblin." Bramblin said, as she shanks into the shadows, getting off Arboliva, and causing the wind blades to hit her, taking her out.

"Vespiquen!" Vespipuen said, sounding like a sorry. But that's when Bramblin came out of the shadows and hit Vespiquen in the chest, forcing Vespiquen back a little.

"Great work Bramblin." Arkayna said to Bramblin, getting really happy with him. "Bramblin." Bramblin said, as he started to roll around in joy.

That's when Bramblin started to glow light blue and grow, being like a ball of light.

When he stopped rolling and glowing, Bramblin revealed his new form, that was twice as big, with spikes sticking out all over his branches, the tips of the branches where purple, in the front of his face was a dark brown branch with two spikes in the middle that looked like a smile, and one of the seeds turned red with dark brown branches in a circle around the seeds that looked like eye holes with three spikes on the top that looked like eyelashes.

"What happened to Bramblin?" Piper asked everyone. "He's Brambleghast now, The Tumbleweed Pokemon, a Grass and Ghost Type. Brambleghast wanders around arid parts of the world. On rare occasions, mass outbreaks of these Pokemon will bury an entire town. And now that he has evolved, this should be over soon." Daiki said to Piper, still giving Arkayna a mean look, worrying Jumpluff.

"About time. Brambleghast use Phantom Force!" Arkayna said to Brambleghast. "Brambleghast." Brambleghast said, as he sank into the shadows.

"And Araquanid use Skitter Smack to distract Vespiquen." Mika said to Araquanid. "Araquanid." Araquanid said, as he started to skitter around the room, making it hard for everyone to keep track of him, and making Vespiquen spin around trying her best to keep an eye on him.

But this was the plan, as Brambleghast came out of the shadows and slammed into Vespiquen taking her out.

"We did it!" Mika said, as she and Arkayna high five, at the same time Vespiquen and Arboliva stood up.

Arboliva then waved her arm to some Dolliv, giving them a silent command. A few Dolliv bowed to Arboliva before moving to the tree and picking from Honey Berries. Then the Dollivs walked to Mika and handed her the berries.

"Finally. We got the Honey Berries." Mika said to everyone, as she took the Honey Berries from the Dollivs. "And we all got new partners as well. Maybe this wasn't such a bad time." Arkayna said to everyone, as she used a Pokeball on Brambleghast, catching him.

And seeing how the Pokeballs work, Jumpluff touched one of Daiki's Pokeballs, letting herself get caught, not that Daiki mind, but he was still too angry with Arlayna to express any positivity.

"And it only took us…" Mika said, as she finally looked at her phone and noticed they only had a few minutes before her parents would show up. "ALL DAY! WE HAVE TO GO!" Mika yelled at everyone.

"THANKS FOR THE HONEY BERRIES! SORRY WE CAN'T STAY LONG, BUT WE HAVE TO GO! ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY!" Mika yelled at Vespiquen and Arboliva, with a freaked out tune in her voice, while she returned all of the Mysticons Pokemon to their pokeballs, opened a portal with her naginata, and forced everyone through the portal before it closed.

"Arboliva?" Arboliva said to Vespiquen, with a confused tune in her voice, wondering what just happened.

The Undercity

The Mysticons returned to Zelly family restaurants, and were shocked to find the place all decked out with pink balloons and a happy anniversary banner and stringers hanging around the place. "What the? Who did all this?" Mika asked, as the portal closed behind them.

"About time all of you made it back." A female voice said to everyone, making everyone turn to see El and Gangar setting things up, with El in a new outfit.

El's new outfit was a frilly maid outfit with her skirt reaching her knees, revealing her clean and kinda shiny legs, her outfit was mostly black with the end of her sleeves having red stains, with a gauntlet with a turtle with six marks on it's shell on her right wrist, and her leather band on her left wrist, her hair was clean down with a white frilly maid cap with scattered spots on red on it, she had a red bow around her neck, black dress shoes with the tip of the shoes being stained red, and her apron was white that was wrapped around her stomach with red spots all over it.

"El? What are you doing here? And what's with that outfit?" Zarya said to El, as everyone gave El an odd look. "Well while you were all lost in the Twin Jungle, I was setting things up here, and I thought this was appropriate for what I was doing." El said to Zarya.

"And you're doing this, why?" Daiki asked El. "You all were talking forever to get back. I thought after giving you that naginata, your journey would have been quicker." El said to everyone.

"Wait, you gave me this?" Mika asked El, holding the naginata towards her. "Yes, and I see you manage to restore it to its former glory. But I would advise putting it away." Mika said, as she walked to Mika, and grabbed her wrist. El then shook Mika's arm making Mika's naginata disappear in pink sparkles.

"There, now when you turn into your Mysticon form, you should be able to call your new naginata." El said to Mika. "With that out of the way, I'll take those." El said, as she took the Honey Berries from Mika.

El then put the Honey Berries on the counter and started to spin the turtle's shell, making its head retract, and popping out a knife, a metal spatula, a plastic spatula, a nuzzle, and lastly a whisk.

El then started to mix all the ingredients for a cake in a blow with the whisk. And after making the dough and putting it's pan, El switched the whisk to the nuzzle. Then she tossed the pan into the air, and fired a stream of fire from the nuzzle, encasing the pan's bottom in fire and keeping it in the air.

And while the pan was in the air, El picked up a pot holder, and stopped the flames, making the pan fall. But El caught it with ease, and with grace put it down on the counter.

El then switched the nuzzle to the knife and stabbed the dough, getting a clean knife as she pulled it out. "Perfect." El said, before she pulled out another bowl and more ingredients.

El then switched to the whisk again, that was somehow all cleaned, and started to mix the new ingredients into the new bowl. And then she switched to the knife and cut open the Honey Berries a little before squeezing hard, forcing the juices out. El then switched back to the whisk, and mixed it up, making the frosting turn yellow.

El then poured some of the frosting into another smaller bowl, as she pulled out some red food dye. El added the red dye into the smaller bowl and mixed it up, turning the yellow frosting orange.

Next El switched the whisk to the plastic spatula, and flipped the cake's pan onto a plate letting it come out. Then El used the plastic spatula to scoop up the yellow frosting and started to gracefully frost the cake, after a minute of this El frosting was perfect. Lastly she put the orange frosting in a decorating bag that was on the counter.

"Okay Mika, your turn." El said, walking towards Mika, holding out the decorating bag towards her, only to get a confused look from everyone. "What is it?" El asked everyone.

"How did you do all that?" Arkayna asked El. "Well before my master taught me how to fight, he taught me how to cook. Saying that it would be better to learn how to use a knife to cut something up in a safe space before using a real blade, plus you never know what you need to make, and if you can cook, you can more or less make whatever you need. Granted I think it was more like him trying to make me make some food for myself instead of making anything himself." El said to Arkayna.

"How old were you when this started?" Piper asked El. "I was about 2, maybe 2 and a half." El said to Piper. "Isn't that when kids are still having a hard time holding silverware?" Daiki asked El. "Actually it was before I could hold a fork." El said to Daiki.

"Wait. You could make your own food, before you even knew how to hold a fork? Just who are you?!" Arkayna asked El. "I told you I'm, El." El said to Arkayna, with a cocky smile on her face, annoying Arkayna a lot.

"Now, I wouldn't waste any more time talking to me. You have about 10… seconds to finish the cake." El said to Mika, as she and Gangar disappeared, and everyone else heard some keys giggling from the other side of the door.

This caused a worried look to appear on Mika's face, and she ran to the cake, and quickly wrote down the word happy on it.

That's when Gregor, Abeque, Indeedee, and Alcremie walked into the restaurant. "Mika we're home." Gregor said to Mika, as they looked around. "Did you all do this? It's incredible. But where's Mika?" Abeque asked everyone.

"I'm here mom! Just putting the finishing touches on the cake." Mika said to Abeque, as she came out from the back holding the cake. "That looks great Mika, but you could have put a little more thought into the writing." Abeque said to Mika. "Sorry we got distracted and had to rush the writing." Mika said to Abeque.

"Oh, understandable. It was your first time. We'll work on it for next year. Now let's enjoy some cake." Abeque said Mika, with a smile on her face, before clapping her hands.

A few minutes later everyone was enjoying the cake, with everyone having an extremely happy look on their face, with Arkayna and Emerald having a large expectation thanks to this being their first time. Well everyone but Daiki, that is, who gave Arkayna a mean flat look.

"This is the best thing I've ever had. Daiki, you should have some." Arkayan said to Daiki, as she passed Daiki a slice of cake. But Daiki said nothing, before turning away from her and walking out the door.

"What's his problem?" Arkayna asked with a confused look on her face. "After everything that happened today you still have no clue. You're hopeless." A female voice said to Arkayna, as a hand took the slice of cake from Arkayna.

That's when Arkayna turned to see El in her normal outfit and eating the slice of cake she took. "What are you talking about?!" Arkayna asked El, getting agitated with El being right next to her.

"I'm talking about that little hate you have towards me. So long as you have that in your heart, not only will you never beat me, but it'll rip your team apart. So, I would go apologize to Daiki for how you acted today." El said to Arkayna.

"I have nothing to apologize for. If anything he needs to apologize to me for undermining me. Not only does he keep criticizing me, but he chose to stand against me when he chose Gawayne over me." Arkayna said to El.

"Then I guess your team is doomed. Enjoy the cake." El said to Arkayna, slamming her slice of cake into Arkayan's face, before disappearing into darkness. The cake and plate slid off Arkayna's face, leaving Arkayan with a very angry and frosty covered face.
