Chapter 20: Battle of the mechanical geniuses.
Franky was bouncing in his seat in excitement as the episode loaded, he had a pen and a paper pad in hand, ready to right down any future ideas for inventions. Meanwhile, the members of the childish trio were looking excited at seeing a robot fight.
The rest were just looking forward to some entertainment.
"Science," Boomstick said, "it can help and it can hurt. Most notably your brain from all the crazy crap that you have to memorize for science class."
"Yeah, I remember all the stuff Tom had to stuff into my head when I was learning how to build stuff as a shipwright back in water 7," Franky said.
Chopper said, "Doctorine was a harsh teacher, but I don't regret the study sessions."
Robin smiled as he remembered her times studying history had back on Ohara before it was destroyed. So many headaches when she overdid it, but it was so worth it.
Wiz said, "Maybe, but we have two of fiction's greatest scientific minds against one another. Dr. Ivo Robotnik aka the Eggman."
A few people snickered at the name.
Boomstick continued, "And Dr. Wily…potentially the bastard child of Albert Einstein."
Everyone was silent and looked over at Isom. Who then paused the video and showed an image of Albert Einstein.
"I could see it," Nami said, noting that they seemed to have a taste for crazy hairstyles.
Wiz said, "Now, for this battle, me and Boomstick decided to try something different. For this battle we will not only be putting the doctors not only against each other, but also their massive menagaries of mechanical monstrosities and menaces."
Luffy cocked his head to the side.
Boomstick declared, "In short, ROBOT ARMY DEATH BATTLE!"
"ROBOT ARMY!" the childish trio and the team cyborg yelled out in excitement. The others just sat back and watched. Wincing slightly as the excited quartet was glowing brightly with excitement.
Wiz shook his head at his co-host's excitement and said, "I'm Wiz and he's Boomstick, and it's our job analyze their weapons, robots, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle."
The doors closed and opened.
"The world of Mobius. A strange world, beyond question. From natural loop-de-loop hills, beautiful mountains, and cities, this world is host to the Mobians, essentially anthropomorphic animals of all shapes and sizes," Wiz said.
"Huh…it looks like a world inhabited by Choppers," Nami muttered.
Robin held in a giggle as she imagined some of the small and fluffy looking creatures all doing Chopper's happy dance.
"Aw look them, all happy and fluffy," he said, before noticng the strange look Wiz was giving him before clearing his throat and saying, "Things were pretty peaceful into his world, until a certain pudgy, but shockingly acrobatic scientist arrived. Dr. Ivo Robotnik."

The crew members snickered at some of the nicknames that they saw, with the childish trio bursting into laughter. However, a few of the sharp eyed members, most notably Sanji, Robin, and Nami, noticed the familiar name.

Boomstick said, "Remember him? The guy who made Shadow?"
"So he and Shadow's creator are related," Robin said, "How interesting."
Luffy said, "Does that mean that Eggman's uncle is a hedgehog?"
Wiz continued, looking only mildly annoyed, "…as a hero, but given how he was arrested and imprisoned until he died, after the whole alien shadow program, felt he had been wronged."
Boomstick said, "Yeah, the guy did what you wanted. Stupid government jerks and their guns. Anyway, he followed in his hero's footsteps and became one hell of a scientist, but he became obsessed with conquering the world."
Wiz said, "And unfortunately, for the world, was more than smart enough to do it, and had the resources to do so."
Boomstick said, "Thankfully for Mobius, he was constantly thwarted by a certain blue hedgehog, Sonic, who coined the name Eggman, for the Ivo's round shape."
Wiz said, "While a humiliating nickname, Ivo would make the humiliating insult his own as he prepared to conquer Mobius with his arsenal of monstrous machines."
"So tha tis how he got the nickname," Franky said, "Got to admit turning an insult into a moniker is a pretty cool move."
Isom said, "Yeah, but it doesn't always work. I mean how scared would anyone be of Rubber Boy Luffy, Curly Brow Sanji, or Moss head Zoro?"
The trio mentioned looked annoyed by the bad nicknames. However, they were cut off by Franky shushing them.

A hologram of a small ladybug-like robot appeared between the two hosts.
Boomstick continued, "He has Motobug's racing across the ground searching for targets, and capturing anything smaller than it. But more on that later."
As the hologram changed to a caterpillar like robot Wiz continued, "Caterkiller's don't move very fast, but they are covered in defensive spikes, which can make initial confrontations a little difficult."
The hologram changed to look like a wasp.
Boomstick declared, "Buzz bombers patrol the skies and fire lasers from their stingers at anyone foolish enough to get close."
Franky was scribbling down on his paper and said, "So he focuses on mobility more than anything else. Usually, higher speed means less or lighter armor. That could be a serious detriment, if this Wily character is packing super fire power."
"Looks like we could take those things on pretty easy," Zoro muttered as he saw the insectoid like robots."
The hologram then showed a variety of egg-shaped humanoid robots, featuring the mad doctor's smiling mustached face.
Wiz said, "When these small robot aren't enough he brings out the egg pawn, these robot's are bigger, but are pretty simple in terms of programming. However, they make up for it with versatility, wielding egg spear lances, single-shot egg bazookas, and fully automatic egg guns. Though, they have been shown to wield a far wider assortment of weapons, such as signs, pickaxes, and anything that they can get their hands on."
Boomstick said, "And they come in a variety of flavors like the wizard egg bishop, the ball rolling egg bommer and Egg Pierrot, the giant egg hammer, the egg knight, and many more."
Franky whistled at the sheer versatility of the Egg Pawn. Definitely had a lot more power to them than the smaller parts of his infantry.
Everyone saw this and noted that they could probably still take them on.
Boomstick said, "Yeah, I know he ran with that whole nickname, but I think he may have gone a bit too far."
Wiz said, "Maybe. Moving on, when his infantry isn't enough, Eggman brings out the Badniks, the spear head of his army."
The straw hats all leaned in and prepared to listen to what else the mad doctor brough to the battle.

The hologram showed a robot that looked more like Eggman than the eggpawns.
Wiz explained, "You can call the badniks the elite of Eggman's army. This include the egg robos, who are smarter than your average egg robot, and can even pilot vehicles. Essentially, they were made to do thing that Eggman himself would normally do, acting like a robot switch out."
"So he uses this to not only distract his enemies, but can do multiple jobs. Sounds useful," Franky said.
Robin said, "Don't forget, these robots are still simple. Maybe he wants to avoid being betrayed by them."
Isom briefly imagined a robot uprising with the Egg Robos and couldn't help, but chuckle at the idea of them collapsing all over each other.
Boomstck said, "And like any mad genius he made a robotic copy of his arch nemesis. A ton of them in fact."
A hologram of two robotic hedgehogs appeared next the gun nut, one completely silver, and the other painted dark blue.
Boomstick continued, "One of which is Silver Sonic, who is powered up by one of the mystical chaos emeralds, a special jewel of concentrated super power that Eggman want's to use to control the world. With that kind of power behind those rocket shoes he can move far faster than that bulky form would make you think."
"Rocket hedgehog!" the childish trio said, while the others watched in interest.
Wiz said, "There is also Mecha Sonic. As opposed to the speed focused Silver, he focuses more on fire power. While he is slower than Silver Sonic, he is stronger, and can obtain a super form by absorbing extra chaos energy."
"If at first you don't succeed, try try again," Franky muttered, "and when in doubt use more weapons."
"Did you do that with some of your inventions, Franky?" Nami asked.
Franky declared, "A few."
The hologram then changed to show a robotic echidna.
Boomstick said, "And he didn't limit himself to just spiky rodents. He also built Mecha Knuckles who can fire massive rockets and can mimic rad red's punching power and gilding ability."
"That is supposed to be an echnida?" Robin asked.
Nami said, "We are looking at a robotic humanoid animal that can glide, shoots missiles, and punches things really hard, and how it looks is what you focus on."
Isom, knowing , what she was thinking about, briefly paused the vido the bring up athe image of a real echidna.
Nami said, "Complaint withdrawn."
Chopper said, "Hey, imagine what would happen if someone tried to make robotic duplicates of us."
Isom answered, "Honestly, they would be pretty powerful, depending on who tried to make them."
The hologram then showed a series of robots of similar designs, all different colors and with different weaponry.
Wiz said, "He also has the E-series, which consists of a series of robots with advanced weaponry."
Boomstick said, "Zero is a master of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em with his tethered punching arms, Delta is equipped with twin missile launcher and a jet booster, Epsilon has twin stinger missiles for airborne targets, plus his own jet booster."
"I like the sound of those bots," Franky said writing down ideas in his pad, "Though, maybe more than just missiles on Epsilon and Delta. Maybe some different missile packs or something like my Franky Destroyer cannons, with some punching stuff for close range. Zero could be fun to use as a training robot for my fighting style."
The childish trio imagined Franky building those robots and them going against the navy and started to sparkly excitedly.
Wiz continued, "Zeta and Theta became a stationary defense units, usually in one of Eggman's many ships, but we'll get to that in a minute. Though one of the most diverse machines Eggman ever made the Beta MkII."
"What is the point of them being stationary. Having them move would be a better idea," Franky admitted, as he continued to go through the ideas of the robots., "I wonder what Beta can do?"
Sanji said, "We're about to find out."
Boomstick declared, "Damn right. That bot can fly, has super speed, teleportation, and a reflector shield. He can fire missiles, robot style kamehamehas, and has one of my favorite defensive abilities ever…the backhand."
Franky whistled and said, "Dang. Now that thing sounds like it would be a massive pain in the neck to fight with the ability to teleport. Reminds me of that shave move that the CP9 guys would use."
"What the heck is a kamehameha?" Luffy asked, "It sounds funny."
"Big beam attack?" Usopp provided.
Boomstick laughed and said, "And you want to now what is really crazy? These things are powered by captured animals! This guy is PETA's worst nightmare."
"WHAT!?"
The group looked horrified as they saw the robots had living creatures as their power source. Chopper especially.
Robin and Nami clenched their fists as they saw this, and imagined a bunch of cute little animals being forced into small containment and being used as batteries.
Wiz said, "Next, there are the Shadow Androids. Typically, coming in teams of 3, they mimic the dark hedgehog's abilities, can fire miniature rockets, but their AI is a little spotty, and can cause them to glitch."
"Note to self, always work on programming and make sure that they do nto glitch out," Franky muttered as he continued to write on his pad."
The holograms then changed to a group of ships.

Robin said, "Now don't go thinking that, Franky. At least wait until we see his opponent."
Wiz then said, "However, all of these machines pale in comparison to Eggman's most powerful creation. Metal Sonic."
That got their attention.
"More powerful than the giant robot fleet!?" Franky declared in disbelief.
Zoro said, "And it sounds like another roobt duplicate. Wonder what sets it apart from the others."
The hologram changed to another robotic hedgehog, however, this one seemed different than the other two, as its eyes held more…malice?

"Sounds like Shadow," Nami said, "makes seeing as both are hedgehogs in that world."
Franky was muttering, "looking at that some measurement's I might be able to make an engine for the Sunny perfect for when there are days with no wind, and the cola stores are low…but I wonder I could make that coar powered too. I'd need to do some serious reinforcement to the Sunny's hull."
Boomstick continued, "If that's not enough, he's also has rockets, an impenetrable black shield, a chest laser, and the Maximum Overdrive attack, where he overloads his circuits for a powerful blast. If that's not enough he can scan and copy the abilities of others and use them in battle."
Franky was impressed by what he saw when it came down to the robotic hedgehog's ability to destroy. The other members of the straw hats have to admit that they agreed with Wizard and Boomstick. He really pulled out all the stops.
Usopp suddenly shuddered and said, "The idea of him being able to copy different abilites is terrifying. Imagine if he copied Luffy's devil fruit."
Isom then asked, "imagine what would happen if he copied the top navy brass's devil fruit…or Luffy's grandpa?"
Everyone, especially Luffy who was suddenly having fist of love flashbacks, shuddered in horror.
Wiz said, "However, there was one thing that Eggman did not expect. Somehow, Eggman made Metal and ever evolving force. This has led to Metal going out of control and attacking the doctor. Unfortunately, this also means that he can absorb machines into himself to transform into larger and more powerful forms."
Boomstick looked at his cohost and asked, "How the hell do you do something like that by accident!?"
"How do you do something like that by accident!?" yelled Franky in disbelief.
Sanji once again found himself flashing back to Germa. He imagined his father creating a new type of soldier, it learning adapting, and gaining powers by copying the abilities of others before going out of control and going on a rampage. The idea scared him.
Wiz was quiet before he simply shrugged.
Boomstick sighed and muttered something about stupid smart people and said, "Well, in the event that the doc runs out of fake robot's he's got plenty of options to fight himself."

Wiz said, "That's probably because the Egg Mobile's biggest use is its universal compatibility. Like a universal remote, this hovercraft can combine with various robots and machines and allows Eggman to pilot it, and when the machine takes too much damage, Eggman can just eject and get out of there to fight again another day."
Franky whistled and said, "Dang, that sounds like it would come in handy. And if they could only be piloted with the egg mobile, then that means nobody could hijack or steal it. Imagine if we made that for Sunnys' different vehicles."
Robin then poked a hole in Frankys' fantasy asking, "But wouldn't that mean you would have to make the machines much bigger. We would have to trail them behind the sunny instead of inside it."
Franky snapped his fingers in frustration as he realized the archaeologist was right.
The childish trio complained nearby that it still sounded cool.
Boomstick declared, "And he has made a lot, from giant robot birds and beetles to various humanoid machines. Including the Death Egg Robot, with its spiked rocket arms and laser beams."
Wiz said, "Eggman has shown to have multiple machines per plan. So in the event one fails, he has plenty more and is ready to throw down whenever he needs to."
Boomstick said, "Eggman is a vicious and clever opponent, and his best tactic is playing his enemies into his hands. However, he can has a bit of an obsession problem."
Wiz declared, "To be specific, he can be overly obsessed to the point of overlooking important factor's such as when he fought Sonic in a lava pool, but didn't make himself immune to the bombs that he was using, and for some reason, constantly shouting, "Burn to the ground".
Everyone flinched. It looked like the good doctor had a habit of getting tunnel vision.
"That's a pretty bad habit to have, getting all caught up in one detail," Sanji muttered.
Everyone looked at him blankly.
"What?"
Boomstick said, "Yeah, while looking over important factors to concentrate on a single goal is a detriment, it also has the effect of making this mad doctor, dangerously unpredictable."
Eggman was sitting at the bottom of a hole, as little animal looked down at him.
"I will bring you to the freedom fighters where you will stand trial for your terrible crimes. I will be a large hero and win the hand of the princess."
Eggman declared, "A nice dream, but dreams are meant to be…"
He then launched himself out of the hole with a pair of rocket boots, making the mobian run, and in the air finished, "… broken."
"Not going to lie I did not expect him to sound like that," Chopper said, hearing the deep and genuinely scary voice the doctor had.
The doors closed and then reopened.
Wiz said, "The year is 20XX, and the age of robotic is at its highest pioneered by two geniuses of the field: Doctor Thomas Light and Doctor Albert W. Wily."

The childish trio then declared, "Robot ninjas!"
Isom smirked to himself as he imagined what their reactions to certain death battle contestants would be.
"So a rivalry gone bad," Nami thought as she found herself thinking of a different cat burglar she met a while back.
Boomstick declared, "Unfortunately for Wily, he would constantly be in Light's shadow for the rest of his career. Eventually, he realized there was one way to get one over on his rival…take over the world!"
Boomstick stopped and said, "Wait…that's why he became evil? Honestly, I was expecting a woman to get in the way, or maybe some lab accident, or something."
"Sometimes it is a woman, sometimes it is pride," Isom said, "But no doubt when a man of incredible intelligence gets scorned he is going to make it everyone else's problem."
Wiz declared, "Never underestimate the power of a smart man with wounded pride and an axe to grind."
Boomstick said, "Honestly, looking at the two, I can see why. I mean look at these two."
Holograms of Dr. Light and Wily appeared next to them.
The gun lover continued, "One looks like he got a cloud for a beard, and the other…looks like a mad scientist."
Wiz said, "Well, the only different between madness and genius is success, and unfortunately for the world, he is definitely more genius than mad as he had to build up his own massive army of monstrous robots, either through his own mechanical genius or though hacking."
Franky was currently vibrating in his seat as he examined the robots.

Wiz declared, "The bulk of Wily's army consists of the 3 types of bots. Mets, originally industrial robots with indestructible helmets capable of firing diverging bullets. Sniper Joes use shields for defense and cannons, and have multiple variants that can drive vehicles and wield all sorts of weapons. Finally, the Blader Recon bots which with their video eyes. They typically come in the form of machines and vehicles, but can detach their heads when they take too much damage allowing them to return vial information to their creator."
Boomstick declared, "And if they aren't enough he's got the flame blasting hotheads and the Paozo, an elephant shaped robot that can bring back devastating dodgeball trauma."
Isom shuddered the memory of dodgeball. Stupid coach playing favorites.
Franky said, "Looks like he has some good infantry with the mets and those bladers look like they would be great for reconnaissance. The Sniper's are good for long distance and the hotheads could be used to manipulate the battlefield. I wonder if I can get a shell or something like the met's helmets for my back?"
Sanji suddenly asked, "Hey, Franky, you think a material like those helmets can be added to the fridge? An extra precaution to keep Luffy out."
"No fair!" the captain yelled.
"Cool robots," the childish trio, watching with sparkling eyes.
Usopp wondered if he could get Franky to make him something like a Sniper's shield, or a Met's helmets.
"Impressive," Robin said, examining the object. She also imagined Chopper popping out from under neath a Met's helmet thought, 'Cute.'
Then a hologram of a vial, appeared.

Wiz then said, "If that isn't enough, if the case of any pesky robotic interference, or just to spread chaos, Wily shows his genius in programming by creating the robenza virus. This destructive virus, infects robots and can cause them to become violent and uncontrollable."
Franky looked frightened at that and said, "Yikes. Imagine what would happen if Kuma got hit by that. Terrifying."
Usopp said, "AH! Franky what about you!? What if you got hit by it."
Everyone flinched at the thought of Franky going wild.
Isom explained, "I don't think we have to worry about that. Franky's mind is still human, not programming. He's still got the heart and brain of a human under all that metal, so I don't think Robenza would affect him."
As the crew calmed down, Isom's thought immediately went to Egghead island. Given the large amount of robots on that island, especially the giant robot, Roboenza would definitely not be something they want there.
Boomstick said, "Yeah, but if there is a robot you do have to worry about, it is definitely the yellow devil!"
The hologram changed to a picture a large robot that looked like itw as a solid yellow mass with a black and red cycloptic eye.

The hologram then zoomed in on the robot's eye.
Boomstick said, "It also has little to no weaknesses. You can burn it, or electrocute it, but the big problem is that you can only hurt him if you hit him in his big red eye. However, it is only open for a second. You not only got be light on your feet, but on hell of a quick draw to actually harm this thing."
Franky whistled and said, "The guy built a mechanical logia fruit, essentially. That's scary."
Usopp had a brief flashbacks to their encounter with Kuzan. Now imagining some creature made of clay essentially.
"Usopp could take it," Luffy said, "Our sharpshooter could hit that spot."
Usopp grinned as he stood up and said, his legs shaking in fear, at the thought of fighting this monster, and said, "Yeah, I could take that monster. One god shot from my firebird star and he goes down."
Wiz said, "However, even stronger than the yellow devil are the bosses of Wily's army…the robot masters."
A huge variety of robots were shown via holograms some looked scary and intimidating while others looked kind of goofy.
"Robot masters? So cool," the childish trio thought.
"So many," Nami said noting the large amount.
Sanji said, "I might be more intimidated if some of these things didn't look more goofy than dangerous."
Wiz said, "The robot masters are the leaders are all robots that Wily puts in charge of his forces, and are incredibly dangerous. Each of them possess a cognitive chip, a chip designed by Dr. Light, which granted them artificial intelligence on par with a humans and personality."
Nami said, "Sounds like we found out what made Dr. Light famous as opposed to Dr. Wily."
Franky was grinning, wondering what it would be like to meet this amazing man, Dr. Light.
Boomstick said, "The first batch of robot masters were stolen by Wily and reprogrammed for evil. Wiz explained, "Guts Man was original built as an engineering machine, but was rebuilt into a power house capable of lifting over two tons with the Super Arm weapon, and deliver devastating tackles that would make any football player green with envy."
"Sounds like someone who would get along great with the Galley La guys back on Water 7," Franky said.
Chopper said, "Maybe back on Drum Island he could be used to repair some of the damage."
Boomstick said, "Metal man fights with the Metal Blades, ceramic titanium saws that he can launch two at a time, perfect for killing people. You can tell by the red eyes. But his weapon can be used against him if he's not careful."
Zoro said, "Sounds like my kind of robot."
Sanji scoffed and said, "Yeah, and it sounds like it is just ad dumb as you are."
Before the two could fight, arms bloomed and held them back.
Chopper said, "I've seen Zoro's eyes turn red when he's angry."
Wiz continued, "Slash Man's weapon of choice is the Slash Claw, which was capable of slashing through asteroids with waves of energy. He can even trap opponents with a red adhesive before attacking. It should be noted that he is vulnerable to drastic changes in temperature."
"Asteroid blade!" the childish trio yelled out in excitement.
Zoro hummed in thought. Wondering what it would take for him to split an asteroid.
Nami said, "I don't think that I could do anything with that robot. Maybe Aokiji could take him down if they fought…or Ace."
Luffy grinned as he imagined the robot and Ace brawling with one another.
Uospp himself briefly wondered about using an adhesive with speedy opponents to open them up for a sneak attack.
Boomstick said, "Magnet Man is a strategist who uses his magnetic powers to his advantage. Initially dragging them in with a magnetic shield, and then attacking his homing Magnet Missiles. But he can be vulnerable to electric shocks."
Franky nodded and said, "Yeah, that make sense. Tech involving magnets can be susceptible to short outs. They can lose their power if substantially heated up."
Robin rubbed her hand in thought as she began to notice a pattern. Before it could be mentioned she decided to wait.
Usopp said, "Wish I had those. Imagine an explosive star with magnetic tracker."
Wiz said, "Sheep Man…is kind of unusual, originally designed to herd sheep, but began to work with the static resistance test division of a circuit board manufacturer after noticing he could buildup static in his wool."
Boomstick said, "Wait…you are saying this little cotton ball is walking static electricity bomb?"
Wiz said, "Yeah, and apparently falls apart when struck with the rebound Striker, which is apparently a bouncy ball of death."
The two stood there as if they were trying to process this information.
The Straw hats all sat trying to process this strange information. Meanwhile, Chopper couldn't help but compare sheep man's form to his defense boost.
After shaking his head to bring himself back to focus, and Boomstick said, "Napalm man is a walking weapon and a robot master after my own heart. He got a museum of weapons an then he blew it up!"
Boomstick laughed happily at that before sighing happily and said, "He's got the Napalm Bomb on both his arms, and six homing missiles. He's also got treads on his feet and a rocket on his back for bursts of speed!"
"Sounds like a robot I could get behind," Franky said, "I wouldn't mind some tank treads for my legs. Imagine me driving around firing Beans and Weapons Left."
The image was in their heads bringing out sounds of awe from the childish trio, while Nami and Robin seemed uninterested.
Wiz said, "Pharaoh Man was made originally to explore pyramids, with high resistance, agility, and adaptability to the dark, and was granted the Pharaoh Shot. He can fire fireballs, energy waves, teleport, and use a magic shield and levitation."
Robin rubbed her chin at the thought of getting a robot like that. In the search for the Poneglyphs and to discover the secrets of the void century, such a robot would no doubt be incredibly useful.
Boomsitck said, "Now those aren't the only robot masters. A later variation of them would be included with an invention of Wily's the same one that got him kicked out of the scientific community. The double gear."
This got everyone's attention as they all leaned in slightly listening.
Wiz said, "The double gear was built to greatly increase a robot's strength or speed depending on if they had the speed or power gear. One could even use both at the same time, but it could cause great damage to their systems."
"That sounds like it could be useful," Franky said making diagrams, "Imagine Super Speed and Super Strength Mode. Or Double Super mode."
Isom quickly intervened saying, "I'm going to have to dash your dreams there Franky."
Franky looked at their interdimensional traveler, and other member, notably the childish trio, complained as to why he was stopping Franky from getting more awesome.
Isom explained, "First off, the robot masters are 100% robotic, as opposed to your cyborg body. Not only would the gears put a huge amount of strain on your mechanical parts, it would put even more damage on your organic parts, as they struggle to keep up with the mechanical parts in the enhanced state. Not to mention, how it could affect the consumption of cola."
Franky nodded. Ultimately realizing that using the double gear system would be a bad idea.

Wiz said, "Block Man was a construction bot that fights with the Block Dropper to create blocks out of thin air, and when in a pinch uses the power gear to summon more blocks and transform into a giant, but he is susceptible to powerful explosions."
"Wow, kind of looks like that monster mode Chopper went into," Franky muttered, examining the block themed robot's monstrous form
"Wait what?" a few members who had yet to see Monster Point asked.
Boomstick continued, "Fuse man fights with the Scramble Thunder, unleashing lightning ball and barriers. He can also use his speed gear to teleport for slamming attack, and much like a certain electric sheep, can be hurt by rubber balls."
Franky observed, "So depending on the function of the robot Wily gave them the best gear that suited them. Good idea. I don't see Block man being useful while being faster."
The crew imagined their own robot doppelgangers with gears and wondered which ones would work best for them.
Wiz continued, "Blast Man, who I think Boomstick would get along with, specializes in using explosive bombs with the Chain Blast, using the power gear to increase their size and destructive power. Though, the bombs can be detonated prematurely if exposed to enough heat."
"That makes sense," Robin said noting the bombs, mentally looking for the pattern she saw in the first set robot masters.
Boomstick declared, "Yeah, I got the same problem with my guns. Especially the old ones that you had to add your own powder. I thought you had to keep it dry, so I stored it next to heater. Mama Boomstick was not happy when that explosion rocked her basement, and we needed a new heater."
Certain members of the crew face palmed at Boomstick's stupidity.
The gun lover sighed and then declared, "Moving on, we also have Acid Man, and I checked, he would not be a good idea to hire this guy for a party. He uses the Acid Barrier, which does exactly what you think it does! He can also use the speed gear to increase his speed creating waves of acid…though he had to be in a tank to do it. No sure he'll be able to do that in this fight. Plus a dense enough objects like heavy blocks can reach him through the barrier."
Wiz continued, "Tundra Man is a robot with the speed and grace of a pro figure skater, with the Tundra Storm and to add an icy edge to his attacks, and with the speed gear to increase his speedy attacks."
Boomstick said, "Torch Man can unleash fist-shaped fire blasts with the Blazing Torch, and uses martial arts in his fights. He can use the power gear to turn himself into a walking fire wall, literally not the robot security thing. Unfortunately, his flames can be doused by icy wnds. Wait, shouldn't that be the other way around."
Robin smirked as she realized the pattern and soon began to realize a weakness in Wily's robots glancing at Franky she saw him in deep thought and realized he might have figured it out as well.
Wiz said, "Impact Man is actually of fusion of 3 different pile driver robots. He focuses primarily on impaling his enemies with his Pile Driver weapon, crushing with his weight, or stun with a heavy impact. He can add even greater strength to these attacks with the power gear, transforming into a giant jackhammer. While powerful, he can be vulnerable to corrosive substances."
Boomstick declared, "Finally, we got Bounce Man, originally made to entertain kids, he bounces around like a bouncy ball of doom, using his long stretchy arms to grab him for a killer bear hug, and can turn into a pinball of doom with the speed gear."
"That last one sounds more like a toy than a killer robot," Sanji said taking a puff on his cigarette.
Boomstick said, "Now if your sharp enough you probably noticed that there seems to be something. Mainly how it looks like the robot masters all seem to have weaknesses that can be exploited by their fellow masters. Trust me you aren't the only one."
"I knew it," Franky declared.
Robin shut her eyes and said, "So it would seem."
Everyone looked at the archaeologist and shipwright and Sanji asked, "What do you mean?"
Franky said, "As Boomstick said, the robots have weaknesses to each other. An example, Block Man could break through Acid Man's acid barrier, and Torch Man could set of Blast Man's bombs prematurely with his fire blasts."
The rest of the crew mumbled as they looked back and forth. Examinging the list and remembering what they were saying, they realized they were right.
Wiz said, "Wily typically creates his teams with long term strategies in mind. While he does keep his teams as diverse as possible, it has it's downsides. Most notably, the fact that they tend to have fatal weaknesses to each other. Something that a certain Blue Bomber can take advantage of."
"Blue bomber?" Luffy asked.
Isom explained, "Minor spoilers for later. They are referring to Mega Man. Who has foiled Wily's schemes on several occasions.
Boomstick said, "Makes you wonder why he doesn't just make a robot that has Mega Man's fatal weakness, but to each is own I guess. However, when all his robot masters fail, Wily brings out his right hand, Bass."
The hologram showed an image of the black and gold robot, with his own robo dog.

Wiz said, "Bass was created through research that Wily had done on Megaman through their various clashes. He's even got his own little robo dog named Treble. He's powered by a bassnium core, and no I did not make that name up."
Boomstick facepalmed and said, "Why is it that every time someone comes up for a name for something awesome, it always winds up sounding stupid?"
The crew were surprised at the sight of the robot, but they all had to agree that the robot's core name was rather stupid and not very creative.
The gun lover then said, "Anyway, he fights with the Bass Buster, a rip off of Mega Man's own Mega buster complete with rapid fire and charged attacks. He can dash through the air and perform somersault kicks, and even has a copy ability, using any weapon he gets a hold of with the same effectiveness as the original owner."
"Wait," Franky said, "That sounds pretty useful. He could use the different weapons in combinations one after another. Doubt it wold work on us since we aren't robots."
Robin said, "It sounds like Mr. 2's copy copy fruit, but with weapons instead of forms and faces."
Wiz said, "And when he needs to he can combine with Treble using the super adapter to transform into Super Bass, which shoots all his power through the roof which can include more power such as various projectiles, energy shields, and a massive ego. He seeks to prove himself the most powerful robot."
Boomsitck said, "Yeah, and like all great creations with that dream, he tends to turn against his master. Often rebelling against Wily, and attacking him, but he's never outright tried to kill him."
"Sounds par for the course when it comes to villains and some pirate crews," Robin said, knowing that pirate alliances and back stabbing tended to go hand in hand.
Wiz declared, "Speaking of which, whenever Wily comes down to the wire. He brings out his personal machine of destruction, the Wily Machine."
Boomstick declared, "The Wily Machine is the not so good doctor's final weapon in the case all his robot masters fail. It holds his personal transportation the Wily Capsule…which make THE worst noise you've ever heard!"
A hologram of the wily capsule is shown and the noise is heard both Boomstick and Wiz looking annoyed at the sound.
"Make it stop," Boomstick groaned.
Everyone flinched at this. They had to agree that was definitely an annoying sound.
Wiz continued, "The Wily Machine has gone through multiple forms from ships to even a dinosaur."

Frankyw as drooling and was wriing and scribbling down in his notepad so fast that Chopper was starting to think that he could smell smoke from it.
Glancing at his cohost Boomstick asked, "You got a favorite Wiz?"
Wiz rubbed his chin in thought and said, "Honestly, my favorite is the most recent Wily Machine 11."

Wiz said, "Resembling a combat drone, this Wily machine comes equipped with special looping projectiles and backwards facing missile launchers, something that Wily added so he could draw out destroying his nemesis. And if that fails, he can use his ramming attack to squash them. Unfortunately, eyes on the robot act like an Achilles heel."
Boomstick said, "Yeah, but if you manage to take it down, it is not that easy. When the big robot goes down, he's got a secondary version which resembles the Wily Capsule, but thankfully without that damn noise!"
Wiz said, "This second version is equipped with gear like projectile, but is equipped with a Double Gear system. Utilizing a speed for enhanced speed, a power gear, for heavy attacks, and can even combine them, unlike his robot masters who could only use one, combing heavy attacks with enhanced speed."
Franky whistled and said, "Dang. I didn't think that I could be jealous of someone. Those Wily Machines could put my Battle Franky's to shame. Hmm."
Suddenly he said, "Hey, Isom. You think you can get the blueprints for those things."
The guy rubbed his chin in thought before he messed with the machine remotely. Blueprints appeared in front of Franky's shining eyes.
Boomstick said, "Wily is a dangerous individual even with his robot master's having weaknesses to each other, the team is adaptable enough to take on anything."
Wiz said, "And eventually, while not through world domination, the name Wily would be remembered even hundreds of years into future, long after the doctor had died, his name infamous for his destruction and the powerful machines he would create. Ultimately, Wily achieved what he wanted, getting recognition for his genius."
"I will create chaos and estroy everything, and the best part, ooh, the very best part is….I have finally gotten the best of Doctor Light!"
He laughs maniacally.
The crew couldn't help imagine the kind fo legacy that the name Wily had here. Robin knew what it was like to have an infamous reputation due to years of living in the criminal underground.
The doors shut and open.
Wiz said, "Okay, the combatants are set and we've run the data. It's time to settle this once and for all."
Boomstick declared, "It's time for a robot army death battle!"
The doors shut and open.
The pirate crew were divided on who to support. While they weren't fans of the conquering the world thing, They had to agree they were interesting men. Eggman sought to use overwhelming fire power while Wily's bread and butter was versatility.
Ultimately, Franky, Zoro, Luffy, all thought that Eggman would win.
Meanwhile, Chopper, Robin, Nami, and Brook thought Wily would win.
Sanji remained neutral this time around.
The scene opens to reveal a base with a familiar symbol of a large W. Wily walked out onto a platform from his lair looking out over a large army of machine marching forward.
"I wondered when he would show up," the former companion of Dr. Light said aloud as he turned and walked inside, revealing a series of containers, each containing a chaos emerald 6 total.
"Emergency! Wily has the chaos emeralds!" Chopper shouted in horror, the idea of the mad man having those in his arsenal was horrifying.
"When that oversized blue rodent and his friends came to this world," he said aloud, "Bringing with them these chaos emeralds, I knew only my genius could properly harness this power. With this, I will be able to create the ultimate robot master."
A look of anger spread across his face as he said, "Though, I can respect a fellow genius. I will not be bested by a man who is constantly thwarted by a rodent."
"This comes from the guy who is constantly beaten by a single blue robot," Sanji declared sarcastically.
He then turned and declared, "Bass summon the robot masters! We are going to war!"
Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman was flying in the Egg Mobile surrounded by Buzz Bombers."
Eggman said, "So this is the twit who stole my chaos emeralds. At least gathering them is going to be easy. From what I read, he is quit the genius. Imagine what those designs and systems could do under my superior intellect."
He declared, "Find the man in charge, take back the chaos emerald, and harness all the technology here! For the Eggman Empire!"
Eggman's attention was taken when a series of Wily's robotic infantry was seen approaching. The mad doctor himself was in the Wily Capsule and glaring at his rotund adversary.
The two mechanical masters glared at each other and declared, "ATTACK!"
"And so begins the SUPER ROBOT BATTLE!" 3 guesses who said that and the first two don't count.
FIGHT!
The two robotic infantries charged at one another.
Motobugs, buzz bombers, and cater killers swarmed forward to blitz the various machines. Only to be met and blocked by the helmets of a group of Mets. The helmeted robots, when the assault stopped, unleashed fire blasting the motobugs apart, and then turned their aim skyward, shooting a group of buzz bombers out of the air.
Franky sighed and said, "Yeah saw that coming."
Usopp said, "Considering that Eggman was more interested in taking down a super fast hedgehog as opposed to more robots, it makes sense that his infantry would be no match for him."
Caterkillers and some more motobugs tried to swarm the mets while they were exposed, but a group of sniper joes jumped in front defending them, blocking and bashing them away with their shields and returning fire.
The small bots were not alone however, as a group of eggpawns and SWAT bots jumped into the fray wielding weapons from spears and swords to rifles. Unfortunately, it was quickly proven who had the better programming as they were quickly taken out via returned fire from the sniper joes.
A few got a few shots in and destroyed a few of the mets, but they were quickly melted won to slag via a wave of flames of the hotheads.
A paozo then proceeded to jump into the fray, and launched its ball projectile turning the robotic henchman into bowling pins.
"Looks like round 1 goes to Wily," Sanji said, taking a drag on his cigarette.
Nami said, "Yeah, we know who has the better fodder."
Eggman, growled at the sight of this, and made mental notes to add this kind of programming to his robots in the future. He was brought form his musings by the laughter of Wily.
"Your minions are outmatched! Surrender and I may show mercy," Wily said mockingly.
Robotnik simply smirked and said, "Don't your chickens before they hatch, old man."
Eggman raised a hand and snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, E-101 Beta teleported in front of the mad doctor and declared, "Targets Acquired."
"And here comes the Badniks!" Franky declared, "Things just got SUPER awesome."
The childish trio cheered for the badniks to kick butt.
He fired a huge beam which Wily just barely managed to dodge. He then flew away from the battles.
"Thank god they aren't using that sound," Nami said as she saw Wily fly away.
Beta flew into the air raining energy blasts down on the hot heads and paozos destroying them, then he started backhanding the various bladers out of the ai rsending them crashing to the ground in a shower of exploded robot parts.
He was then joined by the other robots. Egg Robots in various vehicles swinging giant wrecking balls, driving a car with a drill, or just dropping bombs, decimating a good chunk of Wily's forces.
Even more damage was done when the rest of the E series and the badniks arrived.
Zero punched and knocked the shields of out of the hands of the sniper joes before caving their skulls with their metal fists. Delta and Epsilon fired their missiles at the airborne Balders that were still in the air, destroying them, allowing Beta to come teleport down and unleash another blast destroying a paozo.
Shadow Androids attacked in groups of three and swarmed a pair of hot heads destroying them, while mecha knuckles, mecha sonic, and silver sonic all blitzed through the rest at super speed , using a homing attack, reducing the last of Wily's infantry to spare parts.
Franky declared, "And the badniks have turned the tides. What will happen next?"
Wily seeing his first line of defense now destroyed declared, "Robot Masters, go!"
The childish trio cheered for the robot masters.
Robin rubbed her chin. Given the back and forth nature, most likely they would turn the tide back in the favor of Wily.
The Robot Masters attacked at Wily's command.
Guts Man and E-Zero clashed a brief test of strength, but his was a setup as Block Man dropped a trio of heavy blocks on the robots head, damaging it, only to get blasted away by brutal punch from Guts Man.
The remaining members of Eggman's Infantry attacked, only for Slash Man and Metal Man to team up, going back to back as they destroyed the robots, Metal Man sticking to sky bound enemies, and the occasional ground enemy as Slash Man stuck them to the ground with with his adhesive before slashing them.
Delta and Epsilon attempted to fire their missiles, but Magnet Man caught them with his magnetic filed and sent them right back, destroying the two E Series.
Zoro grinned at seeing the fight and said, "Dang. They are getting dismantled one by one."
Robin said, "Once again a sign of superior programming. The Robot Masters can work as a team and together if need be, while the badniks have far simply directives and orders. Human intelligence in those robotic frames definitely gives them the edge."
Beta came flying in firing a blast only to be sneak attacked via a flying tackle from Bounce Man, glowing blue indicating the use of his speed gear and sent him crashing into the ground, where Beta was crushed via an attack by Impact Man.
Torch Man and Napalm Man unleashed a barrage of missiles and fire blasts, blasting away more infantry and obliterating them.
"I got them!"
"No I got them!"
Two metal clangs were heard as the two robot masters turned around to see Scratch and Grounder who then started yelling at one another, arguing over who said they got it. They were promptly cut off as they were struck by lightning from Sheep man.
The group burst into laughter upon seeing the two robots make fools of themselves and being taken out so easily.
The electricity was then brought to new levels by Fuse Man who let out his own electric blast, and Blast Man blew the annoyances out of the way with a Power Gear enhanced Chain Blast.
Usopp flinched at the destruction of the two jokes and said, "That might have been a little overkill."
Tundra Man and Acid man were racing after mecha sonic who was keeping ahead of them, only to run into the shield of Pharaoh Man, who teleported in front of him, and then destroyed him with the pharaoh shot. Mecha Knuckles attempted to aim for his blind spot, only to get blitzed by Acid and Tundra man, frozen and then then melted into slag.
The only badnik left standing now was Silver Sonic who launched at Block Man, only to be blasted and blown to pieces.
The shooter was revealed to be Bass, Treble by his side.
"And the right hand robot arrives," Sanji stated.
"For a so-called genius, these robots aren't that much of a problem," Bass muttered, "Talk about an overblown reputation."
However, a glimmer of light got his attention and he saw a green chaos emerald on the ground.
"Another one of those emeralds," Bass said as he approached it, intent on picking it up. A series of warning barks from Treble got him to jump back just as a blue and black blue slammed into the ground.
When the smoke cleared it revealed Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic then picked up and absorbed the chaos Emerald.
"Did anyone else suddenly get a shiver down their spine?" Chopper asked.
Nami said, "Yeah, like that is going to be a huge amount of trouble later."
Bass could feel in his cybernetic guts that this bot was different.
"Finally, a worthy opponent!" he fired blasts after blast at Metal Sonic, only for the baddnik to create the black shield, blocking the attack and then rushed past him. He grabbed onto Blast Man and copied his blaster before unleashing a chain blast against Bass. Bass in turn activated his own adaptive weapon system, and copied Torch Man's ability. The fire blast detonated the bomb before it could reach them. Seeing this, something clicked in Metal Sonic's mind.
He then scanned through the robot master's and rushed towards Block Man, who activated his power gear and transformed into a golem. He tried to crush Metal, but a fast barrage of chain blasts destroyed him, Metal then scanned his corpse and got his weapon.
Robin said, "So that is how it is."
Franky asked, "What is?"
Robin answered, "Metal Sonic can copy weapons and abilities. He can use that to is advantage to get the weaknesses for each robot master, and with his monstrous speed he could do so easily and quickly."
Nami suddenly asked, "Wait…didn't they say that Eggman had trouble controlling Metal?"
A sudden sense of unease came over the crew as they watched.
While, he was scanning, however, yellow blob came together behind him revealing the yellow devil. Who slammed his massive hand down on the robot.
Eggman saw this as the time to intervene and charged forward, firing his machine guns and missiles at the blob-like machine.
"Get away from him you overgrown blob!"
The egg mobile dropped a wrecking ball and swung at it, only for it to not do anything as the robot closed its eye. Bass then shot the chain on the wrecking ball breaking it and sending it crashing to the ground.
Eggman flew back and growled, "This is a disaster. Orbot! Cubot! Bring in the egg fleet!"
"um…does anyone else that that, this is a bad idea?" Luffy of all people asked.
Nami nodded and said, "Yeah, especially with Metal Sonic."
As soon as he gave the order, Wily declared, "Not so fast, fatso!"
Eggman turned and saw that the Wily Capsule was now securely in the Wily Machine 8. At this point, the egg fleet arrived and dropped a large metal container which opened to reveal the death egg robo.
"The big bosses are about to clash," Franky said as the childish trio gushes and yelled over the cool robots they were piloting.
Eggman quickly took control of the robot and began fighting with the wily machine, unleashing spiked punches, while the WM8, unleashed blasts and missiles. As they fought, Metal was blitzing through different Robot Masters.
"You guys take him! I'm going to take care of those ships! Come on Treble!"
The robot dog transformed into a hoverboard and Bass jumped on leaving the group behind to fight Metal Sonic.
"Yeah, they're doomed," Robin said plainly.
"Get back there and fight!" Luffy yelled, "How dare he abandon his team."
Sanji asked, "Can he even fight those ships?"
Franky said, "Since they are flying the best way would probably be to destroy a vital system like the engines or shut down the weapons system.
Metal Man attempted to use his buzzsaws to smash him, only for Metal to dodge them all, and then fire his own blades, copied from Metal to rip him to shreds. Guts Man grabbed him in a bear hug, only for metal sonic to perform a spin dash and grind his body down to metal dust, and copying his weapon in the process.
Everyone flinched at what was no dobut a very paintful way to go. Zoro especially as he remembered his stomach nearly being hollowed out by his fight with Daz Bones aka Mr. 1 back in Alabasta.
Tundra Man and Acid Man attempted to Blitz only to fail, with Acid Man getting barraged by blocks from Metal sonic, copied from Block Man. Metal then used the power gear to create his own giant block golem and proceeded to flop onto the ground with a big old belly flop. This crushed a good chunk of the remaining robot masters.
"He can use the power and speed gears too?" Franky asked, "Given he scanned all the robot masters so that probably shouldn't be a surprise."
Glancing over his shoulder, Metal saw the death egg robot being pushed back by the WM8's massive cannon from its' mouth, and buzz saw attack. Metal acted and proceeded to slam into Wily's machines a few times before it dropping down with Impact's Man's copied heavy impatct, doing critical damage. The machine exploded and Wily fell out. Seeing his work done, Metal moved to take on the remaining robot masters.
He looked up horrified and then spun around and began begging Eggman for mercy.
"Please, spare me. We're both geniuses. I'm sure we can come up with a mutually beneficial partnership."
"And let you stab him in the back?" Franky asked, "Sorry, Wily, but this show doesn't work that way."
Eggman laughed and said, "Sorry, but I don't play well with others."
Eggman then had his robot stomp on Wily like a cockroach snidely declaring, "Sucker."
He then removed his foot revealing…Wily's head attached to a spring?
"It's a dummy!" Eggman realized.
"I though he was supposed to be smart?" Luffy asked, cocking his head to the side.
His remark earned a few snickers around the group.
Suddenly, a set of missiles slammed into the robot's leg, greatly damaging it, causing it to fall to its knees.
"Looks who is talking."
The real Wily was currently piloting the Wily Machine 11. The drone like robot then proceeded to fire more missiles and then rocketed forward slamming into the with vicious ram attack.
"How is that?" he said, grinning victoriously, "What do you have to say now, tubby?"
Suddenly, a familiar voice said, "I say, what goes around, comes around, punk!"
A slam smashed the WM11 into the ground. Wily groaned in pain in the cockpit, and looked back. Eggman was now piloting the Egg Emperor. He glanced down to the death egg robot, and saw the cockpit open, revealing another badnik, one of his robotic duplicates.
The crew werne't that surprised that a robot duplicate was fighting like that. Considering Eggman's craftiness.
A sudden explosion went off, got Wily's attention. He looked up to see Metal Sonic tearing through a few of the remaining robot masters. Getting an idea, he pressed few keys on the control panel and fired a blast capsule from the Wily Machine. It landed near Metal and shattered into pieces, released a dark purple smoke near the robot.
Metal Sonic had been infected with Robenza.
A sudden wave of fear went through the crew. They quickly realized that Wily's final plan was the tourn Eggman's most powerful robot against him. However, they had a feeling that was not how this was going to go.
The Egg Emperor grabbed the Wily Machine and pulled it back before trying to stab through the cockpit. Wily used fired some projectiles to force the robot to let go.
Meanwhile, Metal began to rattle and generate electricity before his eye glowed, and growled, "Bow before your new master."
"Red flag," Luffy suddenly declared.
He flew up and began to create a vortex with his power, drawing in the remains of the various robots scattered across the battlefield. Even the Egg Fleet was being pulled out of the air.
Inside one of the ships, Bass was blasting away at the mounted defense stations that were Zeta and Theta before he was knocked off balance by the ship moving. He proceeded to blast his way out of the ship before and flew on Treble, seeing the machines moving towards him Metal.
"That's not good," Bass said before super adapting with Treble and transforming into Super Bass.
"You think!?" everyone on the crew yelled out as they saw this happening.
He tried to blast away at the transforming Metal Sonic only to be blasted to pieces when the robenza-high robot blasted him to pieces.
The sudden explosion got the attention of Wily and Eggman, who looked up from their grappling contest to see what was going on.
Wily, not yet realizing, the danger, laughed and said, "Behold the effects of my robenza virus! Your ace in the hole is now your greatest enemy!"
Wily continued to laugh, but stopped when he realized Eggman was being unusually quiet. He looked up to see Eggman looking incredibly pale as he saw the merging pieces of technology.
"I think Eggman's aware that his is not good," Chopper said, feelings somewhat bad for the doctor, until he remembered the living battery bit.
Wily realized he might have made a mistake.
At that point, the merging was finished and int the place of the egg fleet was the massive Metal Overlord. The massive robot roared viciously, like a kaiju announcing its present to a defenseless city.
The massive creature's jaw opened wide and then fired a massive blast from its mouth. Wily quickly ejected from the Wily Machine 11, changing into V2, and using the speed gear to launch himself flying away as fast as possible.
Eggman didn't react int ime as he was blasted to pieces. The Egg Emperor exploding into pieces, dying in the process.
KO!
"So does that mean Wily won?" Brook asked, wondering what this meant for the battle. He noticed that the doors hadn't closed on the battle yet.
Wily flew away as fast as he could. Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough to get away. Metal Overlord fired again, this time hitting the Wily Machine 2 destroying it, and killing Wily who let out a final scream.
Double KO!
Everyone blinked as they saw both competitors destroyed in the end.
Metal Overloard threw back it's head and roared viciously.
The doors closed and reopened.
Boomstick and Wiz stared at the screen as it shows the metal overlord floating around as Sonic and Megaman both land next to each other, joined by the freedom fighters as they both nod at one another and go to fight the mechanical monstrosity.
"Good luck fighting robot and blue hedgehog," Brook said, "Songs shall be written of your epic battle with this terrible metal menace."
"Wow…that world is screwed," Boomstick said, "But who won?"
Wiz said, "Honestly, Boomstick I'm kind of stumped. We haven't had a tie like this since fight with the Goomba and Koopa, but this is a bit more confusing as they didn't kill each other."
Boomstick said, "Well, let's look at the armies themselves. First off, Eggman had a limited infantry variety, focusing on mobility more than anything else, and he didn't have a whole lot of individuality with the Badniks. Plus, his focus on his own victory over Wily, he forgot to control his minions. Not that it would help him control Metal."
Franky said, "The guy couldn't really do with some better minds in his robot army. Not a good idea to use a robot you can't completely control either."
Wiz said, "On the other end, Wily's troops were more adaptable, his ranged infantry trumped Robotniks, and his Robot Masters could work as a team, with devastating effect on the battle. And both Eggman and Robotnik planned far enough to use a dummy swap out."
Boomstick said, "Yeah, but then that robenza came in and all things went to hell. So does Robotnik win because it was his robot, or does Wily win because it was Robenza?"
"Can they win by technicality here?" Chopper asked aloud.
Wiz said, "Actually, I ran the data multiple times when their mutual destruction came up."
On a screen Wiz showed a picture of Eggman, Robotnik, and Metal Sonic, showing victory.
Robotnik: 25%
Wily: 35%
Metal: 40%
Wiz explained, "After running the simulation 1000 times, Wily won some thanks to the teamwork of his Robot Masters and Bass, while applying robenza against the Badniks early on in the fight, and Eggman due to the firepower of the Egg Fleet. Unfortunately, Metal Sonic took the most wins, wiping both out after being exposed to the madness inducing robenza."
Boomstick said, "While teamwork would make the dream work for Wily, and fire power would be enough for Robotnik, Metal Sonic was just built different."
Wiz said, "The winner, through technicality, is Metal Sonic."
The straw hats and their guest set back and watched as they began to wonder what would come next.

A huge bomb is show with a fuse lit rapidly shrinking.

The ground beneath the bomb cracked.
The master dragon slayer.
It then dropped through the ground a a huge explosion went off.
Combat Classics: Bomberman vs Dig Dug.
The crew leaned in as they saw the bomb and explosion. Dragon slayer? Master of destruction? What kind of horrifying and demented fighters would be coming next?
Everyone's at back and prepared to watch.
Cut! Sorry this one took so long. Rewriting one on one battle was easy, but doing an entire robot war was hard. I hope that this was too your liking.
Now I've gotten a lot of complaints about the self insert. The main this that he has for a role is to add context for certain battel and jokes told by Wiz and Boomstick's jokes that would go over their head. He will have a more substantial role once season 1 of death battle is complete.
