Dwight escorted her to her own bed, pulling the blankets above her shoulders, before silently leaving.
Angela slept deeply and soundly.

The next morning, she awoke much worse. Her body ached, her throat burned and she coughed phlegm up as she stood in the shower, trying to breathe better. Her voice sounded raspy. She knew there were worse illnesses in the world, and she took two pain killers and drove to work.

Dwight's eyes glanced at her as she entered the office, taking in her hair tied up. She averted his gaze and quickly buried herself in her work, avoiding all small talk. Her headache worsened and her chest felt congested as the morning passed, as she realised the pain killers had worn off. She had not brought anymore. Thankfull, Oscar and Kevin left her alone and did not small talk.

Angela walked into the kitchen, grateful for the silence and alone time. She poured her tea into the mug. She heard the door open and close.

"Angela, how are you feeling today?" Dwight said quietly.

She looked up. "Good". her voice crackled and she wheezed with the deep breath that followed.

Dwight frowned. "You sound terrible. why dont you go home and sleep?" He said concerned.

She lifted her head up and picked up her tea. "I have too much work to do." She said tiredly and shruggeds she left the kitchen.

An hour passed as Dwight watched Angela coughing often and staring at her screen in a daze.

Michael walked out of his office.

"Angela, can you please go to the storeroom and get more paper for my printer? The irony i know." He returned and shut the door.

Angela sighed and left the office, as Dwight caught up to her quickly.
"Let me help." He said as she noticed him approach. She coughed a congested sound as Dwight frowned.

She coughed again as they approached the metal shelves containing all the office supplies.

"Please can you go rest" He said warmly. She shook her head. "Im fine Dwight thanks." she forced.

He sighed and waited a few paces back.

She walked up to the shelf, reaching for the paper stack. Her head spun as her breathing quickened. She placed the paper on a lower shelf as she steadied herself. Dwight noticed she was taking so long as he watched her grip onto the shelf.

"I I feel light headed." She said as she stood still, her breathing shallow and fast. Angela panicked at the intensity.

"You okay Monkey?" He walked quickly to her, placing a light grip on her elbow.

"Yes im fine." Angela said. She walked a few paces, Dwight walking next to her. The room spun violently. She put her hand out, grabbing his forearm in fear, breathing heavy.

"Angela you ok?" His voice was filled with worry as he gripped her upper arm in response.

The room spun. She knew she was going to faint. "Dwight" she said weakly.

"Angela." He said as he felt her knees buckle. He grabbed around her back and slowly lowered her to the ground as she stared dazed, breathing heavy. "Oh ive got you ive got you". He laidher on her back as she felt her head spin, grateful for his strong arms.

"let me lift you legs up to steady your blood pressure" Dwight pulled her knees up to her feet. She breathed deeply trying to slow her heavy breaths. Angela blinked as her head stopped spinning and she focussed her eyes on his.

"You okay?" He said with relief in his voice.

She blinked and began to sit up."Yes sorry. Thank you Dwight." Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She coughed again.

Dwight helped her into a seated position. She tried to move her foot to stand.

"woah woah just sit here a second so you dont faint again." He said warmly.

She stared ahead past him, willing her head to stop being so dizzy. She cleared her throat.

Dwight helped her to her feet.

He placed a grip on her elbow. "Im just going to hold you here for a minute is that okay?" He queried.

Angela smiled as they began walking.

"Let's not take the stairs and go this way." He dropped her elbow when he was sure she wasnt going to faint again and allowed her to walk a few paces in front. Angela felt terrible as she realised how sick she was. She knew she would be more embarrassed later but for now she just focussed on breathing and staying upright.

She stepped outside snd coughed violently as the cold air hit her.

"Let's get you inside, you need to stay warm for your chest." Dwight said logically. Angela nodded, pulling her jacket closer to her neck.

The office door came into view as they approached. Dwight slowed down and stopped walking.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?" He said firmly.

Angela frowned and turned to look at him in confusion. He stood by his red car. She frowned.

"Dwight ive got work to do." She said disappointedly and rolled her eyes. Her head hurt more.

He opened his mouth in disbelief.

"Oh no no no you dont." He walked quickly up to her.
"You are sick as a dog and Im taking you home to look after you. Your chest sounds horrible, you could get pneumonia." He said firmly and concerned. He pointed to his car.

Angela sighed. She felt so weak as she crossed her arms to keep warm.

"Dwight I am fine." She said weakly, coughing again.

He shook his head. "Angela I can hear your wheezing and you just fainted."

Her cheeks blushed.

"Lets go." He said again.

Angela shook her head and walked a step forward towards the office. Suddenly, he blocked her path with his large frame as she gasped in surprise.

"Monkey, if you do not comply, i will make you." He said firmly.

she crossed her arms annoyed. "I really appreciate your help. But im not that bad. Lets go." She rolled her eyes and gestured to the door behind him. He stood perfectly still, in front of her.

"Angela, this is your last warning." He glared at her and then his car, his eyes menacing.

Angela sighed. "Dwight as if you're going to drag me. I'm stronger than I look and heavier." She took a step around him as he blocked her path again.
He smirked.

"Who said anything about dragging?" He smirked again. Suddenly, Dwight grabbed her arm, lifting it in the air and ducking down in one swift move to lift Angela with ease up onto his shoulder.

"DWIGHT!" she cried weakly, pounding his back with her small hands.

"Sorry Monkey but you wont help yourself, so im confining you to bed rest." He said as he placed her in the passenger side, blocking her exit from the car with his large frame before locking the car as she reached for the handle.

"Michael will understand." He said as he entered the drivers side. She smiled as the lull of the vehicle sent her to sleep.
