Chapter 12 Time Travel
A/N Hello guys so I'm writing this without knowing what you thought of the last chapter tbh I'm not sure what I thought of it this chapter is like I said in the title the chapter where the Gang travel in time to see the Krew like always reviews are welcomed.
I've decided that if I have at the end of this book in the week following the end 1 review for each chapter and 2 reviews for chapter that I will select I will post book 2 in the or the 2 weeks following the end of this one.

Songzi Guanyin decided that it was time to talk to the Gang about this time travel thing.
She appeared to Katara who was meditating, she wanted to connect her spirit to Aang's to try to find a way to bring him back, she hated meditating, she knew it was because she never learned but she hated more now than she was not sure she will ever learn, she knew she could learn to meditate from someone who was familiar with meditating but it would never be Aang, it would never be the love of her life, it would never be her partner in everything.
She was heartbroken at the idea that she could never see him again, that he could have done the impossible like he said he would if he ever lost her again. She knew she had to go and find him as fast as she possibly could. It was necessary and vital for her to find him again she could not live without him and she knew that he could take his life just from the fact that he was away from her he said it a few times and if he took his life she couldn't support the weight of his death she couldn't possibly live without him it was too much to bear for her she had to do something but she wasn't powerful enough to do it she wasn't aware of what was happening it was something that was way over her head and her limited powers.
She chose to meditate because she had to connect her spirit to Aang's even if she knew it was probably not possible she had to try and even if she couldn't connect she couldn't either stand here and do nothing she had to do something and she always heard Aang said that meditating could clear someone's mind and spirit and right now it was what she needed the most.
"Hello my child'' Songzi said "I see that you need help maybe I can help you''
Katara jumped ready to attack "Who are you ? And what do you want ?''
"My name is Songzi Guanyin I am the spirit of motherhood and maternity and seeing a child in so much tourment breaks my heart I want to help you''
"Why should I trust you ? What tells me that you are not the spirit that took Aang away from me ?'' Katara asked
"Listen I know that you have your doubts and I can understand that but I have a way to bring you in the future with me'' Songzi chose to not talk about the risk that the leader of their group would endure she knew that if she talked about it they would probably need to think about it and she couldn't afford any lost time she had to make her move now before it was too late for the avatar in the future she had to make him live for the sake of the timeline first but also for the sake of the plan she decided with Yu-Huang
"I'm listening'' Katara responded
"First rule do not take more than 6 or 7 people with you I am the new time spirit and my powers aren't developed enough to take more people''
"Fine for me 7 people, you mentioned you are the 'new time spirit' what happened to the older ?''
"He got punished for taking the avatar out of his timeline. Second rule : no one beside 50 years if there is anyone after this age they could die.'' Songzi continued like it was normal like nothing happened and what she said was just normal
And before Katara could ask anything the spirit continued "You must choose one leader of group one who will have the strongest will and the one who could be the more focused on his task the one also who have the strongest connexion to the person you are trying to reach. This way you will all be able to find him faster. If my conditions aren't respected then you'll be separated at best in the same timeline at worst in different timelines'' Songzi continued like it was something that she learned and had to recite by heart.
"The leader of the group will then fuse with me for a short period of time so that I can allow him to get in the future and then he can allow everyone else to go in the future as well. The last rule is that everyone who is coming must have been selected by the leader, known by the leader and most important must have a strong connection with the leader if it is not the case then the leader and the person would be disconnected which would be dangerous for the entire team.''
Songzi finished with "Choose wisely if not all your lives could be endangered and the rescue mission would fail. To finish I can tell you that you will arrive a few days after the avatar because I cannot bring you to the moment he left but I can bring you back in your timeline at the moment you left but once you finish your mission on the other side. I myself am not aware of what the mission is what I can tell you is that if you end up falling your mission you will have no world and no timeline to come back'' with those words Songzi left and went back into the spirit world leaving Katara alone thinking about what just happened
Logically Katara decided to go back to the palace, they stopped at the fire nation after everything that happened Zuko was still the Fire Lord and had still a country to lead, she went straight for the throne room where she saw Zuko talking with his head of security. Once they finished Katara advanced herself to go see Zuko and told him "Where is everyone ? I have a big announcement to do. And before your fiance ask no I'm not pregnant'' She told this last part while watching Ty Lee to make her understand what she was talking about.
Once everyone went to the throne room Katara started with a big smile on her face "I have a way to get Aang back'' she said. Everyone was logically shocked about what she just announced but they knew Katara and they knew that she will give them all the details about this "way'' if they were patient so they waited for Katara to take her breath back, she was pacing back and forth for at least 30 minutes.
"A spirit just came to see me she told me that her Name was Songzi Guanyin and that she was the maternity spirit but more recently the Time spirit because the last one was punished she told me that she will fuse with the leader of our group and that this leader will take 6 or 7 of us under the age of 50 to the future with him she said that our leader would have to be the one with the stronger connection to the person would have to be the one who could be the more focused on his task the one also who have the strongest connexion to the person we are trying to reach.'' Katara finally breathed after all of this resume about the situation (A/N hence the fact that I put no punctuation on this dialogue)
Without having any time to think a voici with a high tone but a sweet and gentle one said "It should be you the leader of the group Katara'' at everyone surprise it was Ursa, Zuko's mother, who said that "I know about love'' she said while watching her husband Ikem "And I think that love is the most powerful thing in the world and that it can make you move mountains. It your fiance who is in this position. And I am probably the one who can understand the best what it feels like to be separated from someone you love for a long time I think it should be you the leader.'' She finished
"I'm of the same opinion of Ma'm fire nation up there you're the one in live with twinkletoes you should be the one leading us'' Toph responded this time
"I think I can talk fir the both us but Ty Lee and I are of the same opinion of my mother'' Zuko said
"Fine you can be our leader but I want dad to be here if anything goes the wrong way I can't bare to see you suffer. If anything goes wrong I want dad on your side too'' Sokka responded
"Fine let's go get him and then I'll try to reach the spirit to say that we are ready.''
Once the Gang arrived in the south pole they explained the situation to Hakoda, Katara's and Sokka's father who didn't knew that Aang made his proposal this fast.
Once he understood the situation he accepted gladly and even joked about the fact that he was just in the right age before the gap to come and accompany them
Katara meditated just like she did before when Songzi Guanyin came to her and like before she tried with all her might to connect to Aang's spirit to tell him that she loved him, to tell him that she didn't want to wait for the marriage, to tell him how much she cares about him, but most of all to tell him that she was coming that she was ready to do anything to get him back, that she would go to the spirit world and threaten the spirits if it was necessary to get him back. She wanted to do more so much more even if she knew that it could work this technique she wasn't sure and she was afraid, so afraid that it could not work and that it could be a false hope once again.
But before she could finish her thoughts Songzi came to her same as before and said "are you ready ? Who is your leader ?''
"I am ready and I am the leader'' Katara responded proud of the confidence her friends gave her and more determined than she could ever be
"Fine then let's get going'' Songzi said and fused with Katara to start the process of time travel
A/N Another cliffhanger I promise that next we will jump in time but I stopped myself here because contrary to what I said last time I haven't written yet next chapter so this is my question : would you like to see Kiyi get on board of this time travel and let Zuko know that she have a bending ability so that he can train her ? If yes I'll make sure she's in the next chapter but please respond to this question so that I can write next chapter faster.
Two questions this time :
Will Songzi Guanyin's and Shiva's technique work ? If yes how much of a time gap between Aang and his friend will we have ? If no how the Gaang will get back Aang ?
What impact will this fusion have on Katara ?
