The Straw Hat crew made their way back towards the Thousand Sunny. As their beloved ship came into view, they saw that it was surrounded by Marines, their warships surrounding the area in the background. A small army of Marines stood on the docks and on the ground, clearly there to prevent the Straw Hats from leaving the island. The crew stopped in their tracks, their eyes flicking from the Marines to their ship. This was not a good situation.
"What the hell?" Luffy said, his eyes narrowing as he looked at the Marines.
"They're everywhere," Usopp said, his voice wavering slightly.
"This isn't good," Chopper said, his eyes wide.
"We need to remain calm and think rationally," Jinbe said, his voice steady.
"There are so many of them," Nami said, a note of worry in her voice.
"Too many to fight head on," Zoro murmured, his hand on the hilt of one of his swords.
"We need a plan," Sanji said, his eyes scanning their surroundings.
"Maybe we can fight our way out," Luffy suggested, his fists clenching.
"That's a terrible idea," Nami said, shaking her head.
"Yeah, we're outnumbered," Usopp agreed. "We need a different approach."
Usopp raised a hand to his chin in thought. "Maybe we can create a diversion somehow. Lure the Marines away from the ship, and use that opportunity to escape."
"Not a bad idea," Sanji said, nodding. "But how do we create a distraction big enough to draw that many Marines away?"
"Maybe we can create some chaos in the town," Zoro suggested, his eyes scanning the area.
"Oh, that's a good idea." Aria nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, that could work," Luffy said, grinning. "But how are we gonna create chaos in the town?"
Aria looked at Luffy and smirked as an idea formed in her head. "You're the king of chaos." She teased. "What if you use your rubber abilities to freak out the townsfolk? If people start getting loud and running, that could definitely draw some attention."
Luffy's eyes lit up with excitement. "Yeah! That's a great idea!" He grinned widely, his mind already thinking of all the ways he could create havoc with his rubber powers.
"But won't that just draw more Marines towards us?" Usopp asked, worry evident in his voice.
"Yeah, but that's the point. We draw them into the town and away from the Sunny." Aria said.
"We'll have to be quick about it," Luffy said, determination in his voice. "I'll cause a big commotion, and then we can make our escape while they're distracted."
Aria looked up at Brook. "You could probably freak some people out too, Brook! You are a giant skeleton, after all." She quickly turned to Robin. "And Robin, if you generate arms on random civilians, that's bound to get some people to scream."
Brook chuckled, a wide grin on his face. "Yohoho, that sounds like a splendid idea!"
Robin couldn't help but smile. "Yes, I think that would definitely stir things up."
"Alright, then it's settled," Luffy said, his voice brimming with excitement. "We'll create some chaos in the town and create the distraction we need to escape."
The rest of the crew nodded in agreement.
"Okay then, let's do this!" Luffy exclaimed.
A few minutes later, the Straw Hats found themselves back in the town. With a mischievous grin, Luffy stretched his arms and bounced around the town with reckless abandon. His antics drew the attention of the townsfolk, who stared at him in shock and disbelief.
"What on earth?!" A townsperson exclaimed.
"What is he?!" Another shrieked.
Meanwhile, Brook unleashed his eerie laughs and skeletal appearance, causing some townsfolk to run away screaming in terror.
Robin materialized arms on various townsfolk without warning, causing them to look down in horror and squeal in surprise.
The town began to fill with screams and chaos as Luffy, Brook, and Robin caused commotion. Luffy continued to bounce and stretch, knocking over trashcans and causing general racket.
The townsfolk were in a frenzy, running and screaming away from the strange and unexpected events unfolding in their town. Luffy kept up his antics, enjoying the chaos and attention he was drawing.
Meanwhile, Brook continued to revel in the chaos, scaring passersby with his eerie laughter and skeletal appearance. Robin, too, was amused by the commotion they were causing, casually generating arms on random townsfolk and watching them flee in terror.
The whole town was in chaos, the townspeople running and yelling, some even crying out in fear. The rest of the crew watched the scene unfold, amused expressions on their faces.
Aria's smile widened. "I knew this would work!" She laughed, pleased that her idea was working as she had hoped it would.
Zoro chuckled as he watched the trio causing chaos. "You have a knack for coming up with crazy ideas, don't you?"
Aria smiled proudly. "I may not be as strong as the rest of you guys, but at I have creative ideas, at least."
"That you do," Zoro replied with a smirk.
As the crew watched the chaos around them, they suddenly overheard the voices of some nearby Marines, their voices filled with confusion.
"What on earth is happening here?!"
"What is going on in this town?!"
Luffy's ears pricked up at the sound of the Marines' voices, and his face broke into a sly grin as he made his way back to the rest of the crew. "Looks like we got their attention," Luffy said, his voice filled with excitement. "Now we should try to slip away back to the ship before they realize what we're up to."
The rest of the crew nodded in agreement as Brook rejoined them. The Straw Hats stealthily made their way through the town, moving quickly and quietly as possible, trying their best to avoid being spotted. The chaos that they had caused was working in their favor, keeping the Marines preoccupied with the panicked townspeople.
The crew ducked into alleys and took alternate routes through the town, avoiding the main streets where the Marines were most active. They moved silently and cautiously, their eyes constantly scanning the area for any sign of Marines.
"I wonder if they have the entire island surrounded..." Aria murmured.
Zoro nodded in agreement. "That's possible. Marines tend to be pretty thorough when they're on the hunt."
Usopp gulped nervously, looking around anxiously. "We better be careful. If they have the entire island surrounded, it'll make our escape a lot more difficult."
Chopper trembled slightly, his small hooves making soft clopping sounds on the cobblestone streets. "What if we can't escape? What if they catch us?"
Brook let out a soft laugh, his voice cheerful as always. "Do not worry, my young friend. We have faced many difficult situations before, and we have always found a way to overcome them."
As the crew rounded a corner, they suddenly found themselves on a street that ended at the edge of the town. To their surprise, the street connected to a long, winding path that led down to the beach, which was visible in the distance. As they got closer to the beach, they spotted warships anchored in the water surrounding the island. The crew stopped in their tracks as they looked at the warships, their eyes widening in surprise.
"Well that's not good," Zoro said, his expression grim.
Usopp gulped again, his voice trembling as he spoke. "It looks like the Marines really do have the entire island surrounded. How are we going to get past all those warships?"
Chopper let out a low whine, his small body quivering with fear. "We're trapped."
Franky stepped forward, his fists on his hips as he assessed the situation. "Hey, you guys are worried about nothing. If we can just get to the Sunny and into deep enough water, we can use the coup de burst to blast us outta here."
Luffy's eyes lit up with determination. "Yeah, you're right! Let's make a run for it!"
The crew all nodded in agreement, their expressions hardened with determination. They started to make their way down the path to the beach, their footsteps quickening as they knew they had to move fast if they wanted to make it to the Thousand Sunny.
As they raced along the beach, they could see several Marines patrolling the area, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of the Straw Hat pirates. The Straw Hats kept their heads low, trying to avoid drawing attention to themselves as they snuck past the Marines.
As the Straw Hats reached the edge of the beach, they could see the Sunny anchored in the distance, but it was still guarded by Marines, though there were noticeably less of them than there had been before. The Marines stood in a loose circle around the ship, and some of them were even patrolling the docks nearby.
"Damn," Luffy muttered under his breath as they surveyed the area. "Looks like we still have some Marines to deal with before we can get to the ship."
Zoro nodded in agreement, his eyes locked on the Marines surrounding the Sunny. "We'll have to fight our way through them if we want to reach the ship."
Usopp's face paled at the idea of having to fight their way through the Marines. "That's a lot of Marines... and they're all armed. How are we going to get past them all?"
Luffy clenched his fists, a determined expression on his face. "We'll just have to do what we do best - kick their asses."
The crew's faces all hardened with determination as they prepared themselves for the upcoming battle. There was no room for hesitation or doubt. They knew they had to fight their way through the Marines if they wanted to reach the Thousand Sunny and escape.
Luffy cracked his knuckles, a fierce look in his eyes as he surveyed the Marines surrounding them. "Alright, you ready? Let's do this."
The crew let out a collective "Yeah!"
Just then, Luffy launched himself forward, his body stretching and reforming like a rubber band as he approached the nearest group of Marines. Before they could react, he stretched his arm forward and sent one of the Marines flying backwards with a powerful Gum-Gum pistol attack.
Zoro quickly followed suit, unsheathing his swords and charging towards another group of Marines. His blades flashed in the air as he sliced through their defenses with lightning fast precision, taking down several of them with ease.
The rest of the crew began to join the fight.
Usopp and Chopper were the last to join the fray. Usopp quickly prepared several of his slingshots and began firing off ammo at the Marines while Chopper transformed himself into his more powerful heavy point form. With his increased strength, he was able to take down several Marines with ease, his attacks sending them tumbling to the ground.
Meanwhile, Aria stood at a distance, her eyes darting around frantically. She knew she had to find a way to help, but she was not as trained to fight in battle like the others. She was also, unquestionably, the least strong member of the Straw Hats. She clutched her giant lion stuffed animal tightly, wishing there was more she could do...
As the remaining Straw Hats had joined in on the fight, Aria looked out at the sea. Her head perked up, as she wondered if she could ask the ocean for help. She looked out at the water, focusing on the sound of the waves and the feel of the ocean's energy. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "Please, if you can hear me, help us." She whispered.
She could feel a faint stirring in the air, as if the sea was responding to her plea. She opened her eyes and watched as the waves began to churn and roil restlessly, the water moving much more forcefully than usual.
Suddenly, a large, shadowy figure emerged from the ocean. It was an enormous sea king, its black scales rippling with each movement, its eyes fixated on the battle taking place on the beach. The sea king let out a deafening roar, its mouth opening wide to reveal sharp, jagged teeth. It began to swim towards the beach, its body creating a massive wave in its path.
As the sea king approached, everyone on the beach paused momentarily, startled by the unexpected appearance of the enormous creature. The Marines looked fearful, unsure of what to do as they stared at the terrifying sight. The Straw Hats, including Aria, were equally shocked.
"What in the name of all things unholy is THAT?" Usopp said, his voice quavering with fear. "It's enormous!"
"What the hell is it doing here? I thought sea kings only lived deep in the ocean." Zoro exclaimed, his grip on his swords tightening.
Luffy's eyes widened and he let out a childlike gasp of wonder. "Whoa... look at that thing! It's huge!" he exclaimed, pointing at the sea king in awe.
Zoro stared at Luffy in disbelief. "You're actually excited about this, you moron?" he scoffed. "That thing could easily swallow us whole!"
Luffy ignored Zoro's comment and continued to admire the sea king. "It's incredible! Look at the scales on its back! And those teeth!"
The sea king began to thrash around, its massive body creating a tidal wave that approached the Marines, but it seemed to deliberately avoid the Straw Hats. The Marines panicked, some screaming in terror as they tried to retreat from the wrath of the enormous sea creature.
The Straw Hats watched in awe as the sea king attacked the Marines, leaving them completely alone. "Wait a minute..." Usopp mumbled. "Why is it only going after the Marines?"
"Yeah..." Nami muttered as she glanced around the beach, the realization slowly dawning on her. "We're right here. Shouldn't it be aiming for us too? It's like it's ignoring us completely."
Zoro crossed his arms and grunted. "Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It's like it doesn't even see us..."
Aria approached the rest of her crew mates, who were no longer fighting, as the Marines were now distracted and trying to escape the wrath of the sea king.
The rest of the Straw Hats all looked at Aria as she approached, their expressions a mix of surprise and curiosity. They had been wondering why the sea king was only attacking the Marines and now here she was, walking towards them with a strange look on her face.
Luffy was the first to speak up, his eyes widening as he looked at her. "Aria... did you do something?!" he asked.
"I asked the sea for help." She said, staring in awe at the enormous sea king in the background.
The Straw Hats all turned their heads in disbelief, looking between her and the sea king. They knew she could control waves, but sea kings?
"Whoa, that's so cool!" Luffy beamed.
"You... you can control sea kings too?" Zoro asked, looking at her with a mixture of bewilderment and respect.
"I don't know, but it looks like the sea sent a sea king to help us. We should get out of here while the Marines are distracted." She said, her voice more urgent now.
The Straw Hats all nodded in agreement. Luffy grabbed Aria's hand as the crew began running back towards the Thousand Sunny, which was now unguarded. As they made their way back to the ship, Aria glanced over her shoulder at the sea king, which was causing chaos on the beach. She couldn't help but feel a strange sense of connection to the ocean and the sea king, as if they were somehow linked.
On one of the Marine battleships, Vice Admiral Kado was watching the events unfolding on the beach through a pair of binoculars. "What in the world... A sea king?" he muttered in surprise to himself, his eyes narrowing as he watched the sea king causing havoc on the beach. He could see the Marines panicking and trying to escape the wrath of the enormous sea creature. "This is unusual," Kado murmured, rubbing his chin. "Sea kings don't typically attack so close to shore..."
Kado realized that the beast only appeared to be targeting the Marines, while the Straw Hats were able to board the Thousand Sunny, completely ignored and unharmed.
Kado continued to observe the scene through his binoculars, his expression turning from confusion to interest as he noticed the Straw Hats escaping undisturbed. "Interesting..." he mused, lowering the binoculars.
Garp, who was also watching the scene from a nearby Marine ship, was equally confused and intrigued by the behavior of the sea king. "What's going on?" Garp muttered to himself, scratching his head in bewilderment. "Why is this sea king only targeting Marines and not the Straw Hats?"
He had a feeling there was something more to this situation than what met the eye, something he wasn't quite grasping yet.
"Something's not right here..." he thought, his brow furrowing in deep contemplation.
Kado was deep in thought too, his mind working overtime as he tried to make sense of the sea king's behavior. Suddenly, it dawned on him. "The sea whisperer..." Kado's eyes narrowed as he realized what was happening. "Of course! The sea whisperer is with them," he muttered to himself, a sly smile spreading across his face. "The sea is protecting her..."
He turned to his subordinates who were standing nearby, listening intently to his every word. "Get ready to launch an attack on the Straw Hat ship," he ordered, his voice calm and authoritative. "We need to capture the sea whisperer at any cost."
The Marines on Kado's ship quickly sprang into action, rushing to fulfill his command. They knew the importance of capturing the sea whisperer and the value she would have to the World Government. With power to control the seas, they could eliminate any pirates or threats who opposed them.
Garp stood on his own battleship, watching the preparations for the impending attack on the Thousand Sunny. His mind was conflicted, and he was struggling with a deep sense of unease. Garp's expression was one of frustration and conflicted emotions. He could see the preparations for the attack on the Thousand Sunny beginning, but he felt a pang of unease in his heart.
As a Vice Admiral himself, Garp had a duty to follow orders, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right. He couldn't help but feel protective of the Straw Hats and particularly Luffy, knowing how much he had been through.
Garp glanced over at Kado's ship and noticed him standing at the prow, watching the situation unfold on the beach intently. Garp's grip on the railing tightened as he clenched his jaw, struggling with his conflicted feelings. He couldn't deny that as a Marine, he had a duty to follow orders and capture any wanted and dangerous pirates. But he also had a deep-rooted connection with Luffy and a deep desire to protect him. Garp continued to watch as the preparations for the attack went on, his inner conflict only growing stronger.
Meanwhile, the Thousand Sunny started to move, its anchors raised, and the ship slowly began to move towards the battleships. The crew was moving quickly to get the ship into deeper water where they could use the coup de burst to escape. The crew was working together as they always did in times of need, each one fulfilling their roles and doing their part. The tension in the air was palpable as they knew they were surrounded by a fleet of Marines. They were moving quickly, the adrenaline pumping through their veins.
Kado smiled in satisfaction as he saw the Straw Hat ship starting to sail closer to the fleet of battleships. This was going exactly to plan. He knew that once surrounded, the Straw Hat crew would have no choice but to surrender the girl.
Garp's inner conflict continued to grow as he saw the Straw Hat ship sailing closer to the fleet of battleships. He knew what Kado's plan was, and he couldn't deny the feeling of unease and discomfort it caused him.
The Thousand Sunny continued its path toward the Marines, the crew working diligently to make it to deeper waters where they could make their escape, drawing themselves closer to the battleships.
Kado continued to watch with a smug smirk on his face, his eyes fixed on the Straw Hat ship. He was confident that the ship would be theirs within minutes.
Zoro: "We just have to make it to deeper water."
Nami: "We're getting closer to their ships."
Luffy: "Don't worry, we'll get away. We've been in tougher spots before, right?"
Zoro: "Damn straight."
Usopp: "Y-yeah, but this is kinda scary, you guys."
Chopper: "I'm scared too, but we can do this!"
The crew continued to work, the tension on the ship thick with a sense of urgency. They knew they had to get away from the Marines, no matter what.
As the Thousand Sunny continued to sail toward the Marine ships, Luffy instinctively took his arm and wrapped it around Aria, pulling her closer to him. He could feel her slight tremors as she clung to his waist, the fear of the Marines clear in her expression.
At that moment, Garp, watching from his battleship with binoculars, caught sight of the scene unfolding on the Straw Hat ship. He couldn't help but notice the way Luffy had protectively put his arm around the girl, his body language clearly conveying a sense of care and protection.
Garp's eyes widened slightly as he took in the sight before him. He had never seen Luffy behave like this before, especially with a girl. The unexpected display of affection between the two was a stark contrast to the typical carefree and reckless nature that Luffy was known for.
Luffy was determined that they would get out of this mess without having to surrender. The crew continued to man the ship and kept their eyes peeled for any sign of trouble. Despite the looming threat, Luffy wore a calm, determined expression. He knew they could get out of this if they stayed focused and worked together.
"Everyone, make sure you're ready for anything," Luffy commanded, his eyes scanning the sea and the surrounding ships.
The crew all nodded in assent, their expressions serious.
Meanwhile, Kado and Garp continued to watch from a distance, their eyes fixed on the Straw Hat crew's efforts to flee.
"They think they can escape," Kado murmured, his eyes narrowed as he observed the crew's determination. Kado smirked, a look of confidence on his face. "Let them try," he responded, a hint of condescension in his tone.
Garp watched the scene unfold, his brow furrowed in concern. He knew that Kado was underestimating the Straw Hat crew and their ability to escape. "They've always been resourceful," Garp muttered to himself under his breath, his mind trying to figure out what the Straw Hat crew could possibly do to outmaneuver the battleships.
Kado's smirk widened, his confidence only growing. "They're just a group of pirates. They'll surrender the girl soon enough," he declared, his tone assured.
As the Straw Hat crew continued to sail, they finally reached deep enough water to activate the coup de burst. Luffy, who was holding Aria close to him, gave the order. "Jinbe, now!" Luffy called out to Jinbe, who was manning the helm.
Jinbe nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes focused on the task at hand. With expert precision, he activated the coup de burst, and the Thousand Sunny shot forward into the air with incredible force. The air was filled with a thunderous boom as the Straw Hats' ship blasted skyward, leaving the Marine battleships in its wake.
Onboard the battleships, Kado's eyes widened in disbelief as he watched the Straw Hat ship soar effortlessly through the air above them. He hadn't anticipated this maneuver at all.
Garp, watching the scene from his ship, was filled with a mixture of astonishment and relief. "They did it," he said quietly, his tone a mix of surprise and pride. "Those damn Straw Hats always manage to surprise me."
On the Thousand Sunny, the crew cheered with excitement as they realized they had successfully escaped the marine battleships' pursuit. However, Aria, who had dropped the giant lion stuffed animal, now had her arms wrapped tightly around Luffy as she screamed at the top of her lungs, the force of the wind making her cheeks ripple.
Luffy laughed heartily, feeling Aria's arms gripped tightly around him as they soared through the air at great speed. He couldn't help but find her reaction amusing.
"We're flying! Why are we flying?!" Aria screamed. It was the first time she'd experienced the coup de burst.
Luffy chuckled, enjoying the look of shock and excitement on her face. "It's a special trick the Thousand Sunny can do," he explained, yelling over the rush of air. "It's called the coup de burst!"
The rest of the crew laughed as they saw Aria's reaction. They were used to the coup de burst, but it was always amusing to see someone react for the first time.
"You get used to it after a while!" Usopp called out, a wide grin on his face.
"It's the best way to escape a sticky situation!" Franky added, his voice filled with excitement as well.
Aria clung on to Luffy for dear life, still screaming as the ship barreled back down toward the ocean. The Marines were now far behind them.
Luffy held onto Aria, his arms wrapped tightly around her. He found her reaction hilarious, but he also knew how scary it must be for her the first time. As the Straw Hat ship landed back on the water with an enormous splash, Luffy squeezed her reassuringly.
"See, we're fine!" he reassured her, a smile on his face. The rest of the crew were laughing, enjoying the moment.
Aria's legs were shaky as her arms around Luffy loosened. "I... I think I just lost a few years of my life." She said, feeling slightly queasy.
Luffy chuckled, amused. "You'll get used to it, trust me," he said, ruffling her hair playfully, which was now completely disheveled from the wind.
The crew teased her a bit, enjoying seeing her reaction. Nami, wearing a smirk, added, "Don't worry, you get used to the adrenaline rush after a while."
Once the excitement of the escape settled down, the crew started to relax a bit, grateful to have outmaneuvered the Marines. Luffy walked to the railing, his eyes scanning the horizon, making sure they weren't being followed. "Looks like we lost 'em," Luffy said, a satisfied smile on his face. "They won't catch us that easily!"
The crew all nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of relief now that they were out of immediate danger.
"Nice job, everyone!" Luffy praised, looking around at his crew. "We made it out just like I knew we would."
The crew smiled and gave each other high-fives, proud of their victory.
