It was a long flight while Adrien was fast asleep in his passenger seat. Daylight sure isn't his favorite time while he's a night person to hunt at night. Once the captain announced the landing, Adrien woke up with a yawn from his fancy bed.
"Mr. Bastet, we are arriving in Paris in less than five minutes," The captain said.
"Excellent" Adrien smiled.
"In the meantime, your cousin is waiting for you at the airport. He gave me a call to let you know" The captain informed.
"Good, I'll meet up with him soon" Adrien gets to his seat to buckle up.
"He's always full of surprises," The captain said.
"Just like me," Adrien said.
The plane slowly lands before coming in slowly to park near the airport for passengers and himself to come out.
Soon Adrien met up with Felix at the airport. Always the same cheeky boy with surprises to always feel like having a twin brother he never had but technically they are ancestor and descendant alike.
"Welcome home, Adrien" Felix greeted him.
Adrien gave him a hug before he spoke, "Glad to see you too, cousin. How's home?"
"Just fine. Ladybug still being our protector" Felix said.
"And I suppose she misses Claw Noir a lot," Adrien said before handing his luggage bag to the bodyguard.
"Yes, her inspiration," Felix said.
"I bet. And how's Marinette doing while I was away?" Adrien asked.
"You know her, bro. She's been hoping you would come home alive. She gets worried about you but she does want you to travel a lot to understand the changed world" Felix said.
"Yes, and me slaughtering monsters," Adrien said.
As they head outside where the limo is with Amelie, Grandma, and Nathalie are at.
"Aunt Amelie" Adrien hugged her.
"Our prince, it's so good to see you come home. How was your flight?" Amelie hugs back.
"It was fine, but it was way more fun in Mexico," Adrien said.
"Still the same as I remember," Grandmother said.
"Thanks, Grandma" Adrien hesitated to say since he's the oldest in the family but he was getting used to it.
"Are you hungry for food or the other?" Amelie asked.
"Very famished for normal food than red stuff. I see Paris still breathes since I left" Adrien gets inside the limo.
"She always breathes for centuries, bro. Like you have breathed for over a century" Felix said.
"Stuck in a coffin," Adrien said.
"But you did get a good eternal sleep, sleeping beauty" Felix teased before the limo drove.
"I did" Adrien replied.

With Ladybug, she has just stopped a car robbery and watched the police take the robber away. It was a lonely job without her kitty but she wanted him to travel a bit to explore and experience new things than from his past that didn't have the modern world.
"Being on single duty's never been so hard" She said to herself.
"I suppose it won't be that hard for you when you have a vampire for the job at night" A familiar voice spooked her.
"Kitty?" She turns around.
"The one and only" Claw Noir said.
"Kitty!" Ladybug tackled him with a hug.
"Missed me, Bugaboo?" He hugs her back.
"Long enough to see you kick ass again," Ladybug said.
"Yes, and faced any gargoyles yet?" Claw Noir asked.
"Nope, but it does give them to guard Notre Dame a lot. It's so good to see you, kitty" Ladybug said.
"It's good to see you too, milady. Felix told me you were desperate to believe I wouldn't come home alive" Claw Noir said.
"Of course I was. Last time when you were in New York to see Lady Liberty, one of the demonic ghosts almost possessed you" Ladybug said.
"But through sheer willpower, I repelled them," Claw Noir said.
"But still. I was still worried" Ladybug hugs him.
"I still got nine lives, milady" He replied.
"And your regeneration for your body except your heart. You better take care of your heart if you want to live without having a wooden stake to your heart and end up going to hell to join that liar to torment you again" Ladybug said.
"And I won't ever let that happen" Claw Noir puts her hand on his chest to feel the vibration of his purring, "Because I always tell you how many times my heart purrs for you, despite no heartbeat"
"I hope so, Kitty. But threats are always unpredictable" Ladybug said.
"Like always to mortals but not to immortals like me" He lies down on the roof next to her, "You know. My mother would always tell me that things can change all the time. She once said that life on earth changes but the stars in the sky are ageless and unchanged. Even the sun too"
"The sun is 4.6 billion years old," Ladybug said.
"Exactly. And stars continue to dance in the sky when people look up to them. It may sound silly but my mother would always believe stars give a spark to the answers in a wish" Claw Noir said.
"Yeah, I'd wish for anything good," Ladybug said, taking out a box of macaroons, "For you Kitty Cat"
"Thank you. You are sure good at being prepared for me when I get hungry for pastries" Claw Noir ate them.
"You're welcome," Ladybug said.
"My love, I always did imagine having you as my lovely bride but you have a life ahead of you," Claw Noir said.
"It's a lot to make tough choices in life, Adrien. Things take time" Ladybug said.
"Sometimes sacrifices must be made," Claw Noir said.
"You sacrificed a lot these days, kitty. You're the last Agreste living on earth. Being the last of the family bloodline can be lonely sometimes. Especially for Felix to be the youngest descendant from your mom's side of the family" Ladybug played his spiked bell.
"I know, and you're the light in my life" Claw Noir held her hand.
"Heh, you mean undead life? It took you less than a year to adapt to the 21st century. You have every knowledge of your past life in the 1880s but second chances are like a miracle for you" Ladybug said.
"I'm a fast adapter" Claw Noir joked.
"Yes, you are. By the way, anything you learned in Mexico besides their traditional Day of the Dead holiday?" Ladybug asked.
"Well, some Spanish, their music, and killed a chupacabra" Claw Noir said.
"I was expecting more than that. Not even a Macarena?" Ladybug chuckled.
"I danced that but what I learned was like paradise" Claw Noir chuckled
"Really?" Ladybug smiled.
"Other countries I visited, they still hold their cultures of the past mixed with modern" Claw Noir said.
"That's right" Ladybug replied.
He brought her close to sit on his lap, "My lady, I admired the changed world. I have remembered Gustave but I never got the chance to see the construction of the tower but I'm sure he was proud to build a monument for Paris the same way Paris gave New York a gift of Lady Liberty" Claw Noir said.
"He was," Ladybug said.
"And as I have remembered Notre Dame remaining the same in my time" Claw Noir stroked her legs.
"Yeah, remained untouched" Ladybug rubs his cheek.
"And I see you still have your red streak the same as my lady" Claw Noir smirked.
"Yep, it looks great but I think blue should suit more," Ladybug said.
"Nah, I like it like this, my love. You always think my kitty hair is like a Christmas tree" Claw Noir chuckled.
"It does when I placed a lot of bows like ornaments last year for Christmas. You looked so adorable" Ladybug laughed.
The feline rolled his eyes at that memory, "Yes, well, this year I'm keeping my hair groomed this time. Untamed and not petted" Claw Noir purred seductively.
"Right of course" Ladybug pets him.
"Puuuuuurrrrrr" He purred in content, "Now then, you need to get your beauty sleep, milady. You know princesses need their beauty sleep to look beautiful in the morning"
"See you tomorrow, kitty" Ladybug kissed his cheek and then she swung back home.

At the mansion, the maids opened a spa for the boys since Felix waited long enough for Adrien to come home for this. Adrien sure needed one since he has been fighting monsters for months and he needed spa treatments. Right now they were enjoying a massage.
"So tell me all your vacation stories in Mexico, bro. Good ones I wanna hear" Felix asked before he felt his neck crunch by a professional chiropractor and massager.
"Well, I explored the city there and learned more about their culture, traditions like the day of the dead, the food, and nature," Adrien said.
"That's great. I did tell ya that place is like a great vacation" Felix said before groaning a bit by getting massaged.
"I wonder what country I should visit next," Adrien said.
"That for another time, bro. Paris still needs you. Your lady still needs you" Felix said.
Adrien grunted from the crunch on his back spine, "Very well. And I suppose you need me too"
"Yep," Felix nodded.
After getting massaged, they took a dip in a warm bubbly spa tub.
"Ahhhh….. yes" Adrien sighs in comfort.
"Like I said, you needed paradise. I'm surprised that spell is working on you to walk in sunlight" Felix said, joining in too.
"Yes, so that I'm not like the vampire movies," Adrien said.
"But you still enjoy biting necks too much," Felix said.
"Only on evil, I smell, yes. However, I can't hide my fangs well. Especially to not smile with it" Adrien said.
"Well, they go with the claws," Felix said.
"Indeed. Although I still go under the name Aiden Bastet instead of my real name. Paris still believes I was adopted by your family. Technically you all did take me in to raise me for a year" Adrien chuckled before reaching for his glass wine of blood to drink.
"Helping you to adapt to the modern days," Felix said.
Adrien gulped his drink, "But not just you and your mother, Marinette helped me regain my humanity"
"Through love," Felix said.
"And that's why I fell in love with her" Adrien sets his drink aside.
"But I know what's bothering your mind. You refuse to turn her so she doesn't suffer the same thing you went through. I admire your morality too much at how good-hearted you are than biting asses all the time" Felix said.
"I'd be mortal for her," Adrien said.
"The curse made you what you are today, bro. You can barely remember what being mortal was like. Believe me, if you become mortal again, you lose your powers and I suggest having powers for the greater good. Without it, Claw Noir would be like he never existed" Felix climbed out of the spa tub.
"You do have a point but Claw Noir was named by that bitch who cursed me. He came from me, not her" Adrien said and dried himself with a towel.
"And so was Aiden Bastet to be born in the 21st century like he was your descendant," Felix said.
"Yep, to not draw attention," Adrien said.
"Your sexy ass draws too much attention" Felix reminded him.
"Yes, well, I still look forward to coming back to school tomorrow. Marinette has gained popularity and become class representative" Adrien removes his trunks and puts on his bathrobe.
"Good with that," Felix said.
"I know this feels stupid to ask. What has become of Chloe?" Adrien asked.
"Ever since she aided a fugitive we all know, she went to a new public school. She was exiled along with her mother and went to London since they lost their legacy because of Claw Noir. Her mom has no shame at all since she's the harshest woman in Paris and New York, she never blamed herself but blames more on Chloe" Felix explained.
"They really had it coming," Adrien said.
"And that's another reason why Claw Noir needs you more than you need him" Felix puts on his bathrobe.
"I am Paris's own dark knight after all" Adrien said.
"Or night protector," Felix said.
