He had locked himself in his room, thinking about leaving this place because it was giving him nightmares and PTSD. He had enough money to live life the way he wanted, I guess defeating Shigaraki and becoming a war hero had its perks.
He had listed his home for sale. He is currently looking for a home in the countryside. He didn't care about teaching at U.A anymore. He would go today and resign from his job. He had made up his mind.
Time skip-
He is currently in front of Principal Nezu. He told him about his decision to leave.

He is currently in his new home in the countryside. He changed his number too. He knows All Might would be worried, but he doesn't care anymore. He just wants to lock himself in.
Timeskip 2 weeks-
It's been two weeks, and he has locked himself in a room. I haven't seen the outside for two weeks. I've been eating instant ramen cups and frozen food, and they are about to run out soon. It seems he has to go outside.
It's currently 8 PM. He is on the road, headed to a local supermarket. He is thinking about buying at least 40 cups of ramen this time.

While he was thinking and running in the forest, the curse appeared in front of him and punched him with full force. The punch knocked the air out of him, causing him to hit a tree and slump down. Is this how he dies? Is this how the great Deku dies? At least he will see mom and Tenko...
No, I refuse to die. I can't die here. I have to fight and move forward. A mere monster can't kill me. I am a war hero who defeated the greatest threat to humanity. I can't die here.
As he was thinking, he stood up and suddenly felt an energy coursing through his body. He felt alive again. What is this? What is this sudden power-up? It's just like the old days, using One For All, but it's different in a way. It's a lot darker. He doesn't know why, but it's not the time to think about that. He has to defeat that monster. He doesn't understand what that monster is or how it appeared in the country.
In the countryside, villain attacks are not common, so why is there a villain here? Why is everyone not alert yet?
He focused that energy on his leg. Thank god he has the experience of using One For All, so controlling this unknown energy is natural to him, but he is not a master; he is still confused as heck.
He jumped off and focused his energy into his hands. He punched the monster in the face, bursting through its head, and could feel its purple blood on his hands. Without hesitation, he focused his energy into his leg and delivered a powerful kick to its thick neck, separating its head in one blow. As the monster dropped to the ground, he saw it turning into black dust and disappearing in no time, as if it never existed.
What was that? What is this energy? And why did that energy feel so dark and negative?
"Can he become a hero again? Does he want to be a hero again?"
He doesn't know he is confused as hell.
He can guess one thing: he can become stronger once again. He knows this energy has the potential to match One For All. He knows he is not even touching 1% of its true potential.
He gazed up at the night with vacant eyes, sensing that this would be his turning point.
