Not long after Gohan destroyed Cell the Earth was once again faced with total annihilation. Only this time the threat was to come from Turles. Because three months after Goku's death Turles overpowered Goz and Mez escaping from Hell and returning to Earth in another attempt to destroy the planet. And this time Goku won't be around to stop him. Now that Goku's dead Gohan is the only one that can save the Earth and restore peace. ...
It was a beautiful day on Mount Paozu as Gohan was fishing in the water that is near his house in an attempt to get his mind off of thinking about Goku's death. He wasn't having any luck catching anything,. He had been trying since 9 in the morning, and it was fast approaching noon. "Aw, man, I haven't caught a single thing and I've been out here for almost three hours. Well, I guess I'll give it one more try before I go in for lunch." Gohan said as he sat on the bank. He stood up and dove into the water. Five minutes later he resurfaced holding an enormous fish in his hands.
As he made his way back to the house with his catch he sighed and said, "Gee Dad would've been proud that I caught a fish this size. I sure miss him, but I have to be strong for Mom." He then went in the house. "Mom! Look at the fish I caught!"
"Whoa! That sure is a big fish. Your father would've been proud."
"I know." After Chichi began to cook the fish so that it would be ready to eat for dinner later that night she sat down at the table across from Gohan and then they ate their lunch.
As Gohan and his Mom were eating their lunch deep in the bowels of Hell Turles was torturing Goz and Mez. "Tell me how to get out of here now." Turles said as he was choking Goz.
Mez said, "All right we'll tell you. Just put Goz down." He did.
"There! Now tell me how to get out."
After catching his breath Goz said, "Over there. That tunnel will lead you out. But I think I should warn you that if you try to destroy the Earth again you will be stopped."
"By who? Kakarot's dead."
Mez replied, "Gohan. Don't forget he can go Super Saiyan two, and you aren't powerful enough to kill him. You won't last five minutes against him."
"Oh, is that so? I've been training with the other denizens of Hell, and I've also eaten two full pieces of the fruit from the Tree of Might. So yes I'm more than capable of killing Gohan."
Goz said, "We'll see about that."
"Yes, we will see. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! ha!" Turles said as he began his walk down the tunnel.
In no time at all Turles found himself on Earth once again. "Now to get Gohan's attention by destroying that city over there." Turles then entered South City.
He began destroying South City by blowing up some trees as well as some wild animals that rome freely through the city. Hearing the commotion created by Turles' wanton destruction of the trees surrounding his home a man emerged from the smoke-filled air confronting Turles.
The man was about six inches shorter than Turles. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and a mustache. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue hat, and black shorts. He had a slight southern accent.
The man looked at Turles and said, "Hey buddy! What do you think you're doin' huh?"
"Looking for someone."
"Well, couldya try bein' quieter about it?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. Is this any better?" Saying this Turles killed the man by shooting him with a small energy blast.
While Turles was destroying South City Gohan and Chichi were finishing their lunch. "Now Gohan I want you to go get some wood."
"OK, Mom. I'll be back shortly." Gohan left to gather the wood.
He gathered the wood in ten minutes, and as he was about to go back into the house he stopped in his tracks.
"Whoa! I can sense a huge power level all the way in South City. But who is it?"
"What's wrong Gohan?" Chichi asked as she came outside.
"I'm sensing a very strong power level."
"Who is it?"
"I don't know. But I know one thing."
"What?"
"Whoever it is they're evil."
"I guess you better go and check it out."
"Are you serious? I mean you're not going to make me stay home like you've done so many times in the past?"
"No, because since your father's dead someone has to protect the Earth, and that someone should be you."
"Gee, thanks Mom!"
"You're welcome. Now go save the Earth from evil." Gohan nodded and took off flying toward South City.
As he was flying Gohan decided that he should contact Vegeta telepathically to see if he was also aware of the trouble in South City.
"Vegeta Can you hear me?"
"Gohan is that you?"
"Yeah."
"What do you want?"
"Do you sense that gigantic power level in South City?"
"Yes, actually I'm already on my way. Do you have any idea as to who it is?"
"No, but I'm on my way there too."
"Good."
Several minutes later Vegeta and Gohan arrived in South City immediately followed by Krillin, Yamcha, Piccolo, Tien, and Chiaotzu. Vegeta said, "Everyone else stay here. Gohan and I will see who it is." Gohan and Vegeta approached Turles' location.
When Gohan saw Turles he said, "What in the heck is Turles doing here? He's crazy if he thinks he can hurt me." Gohan then felt Turles' full power level. "Shoot! Vegeta he can destroy us if we aren't careful."
"Yeah, I know. We'll just have to be careful. Listen, Gohan, I'll fight him first, and if I'm unable to beat him then you may cut in."
"All right." Gohan went back to tell the others that Turles had returned.
"You're stronger than him aren't you Gohan?" Chiaotzu asked.
Tien added, "Yeah, I mean there's no way he's been training in Hell for all of these years. Right?"
Yamcha said, "I'd have to agree with Tien on this one."
Piccolo said, "I'm sorry to say it but Turles is strong enough to kill Vegeta and Gohan if they aren't careful."
Krillin said sounding frightened, "You're kidding right Piccolo?"
Gohan replied" "Sadly, Krillin he's not."
While Gohan was talking to the others Vegeta looked in Turles' direction and shouted, "HEY TURLES!"
Turles turned around and when he saw Vegeta he said, "Ah, if it isn't the princess of all Saiyans. Nice to see you again Vegeta. Long time no see."
"Shut-up!" Vegeta screamed as he rushed toward Turles.
The two Saiyans collided and a momentous fist fight ensued with each of them delivering a volley of very hard punches. After fighting this way for five minutes the fist fight ended in a stalemate with neither of them gaining the upper hand on the other.
During the lull in the battle Vegeta said, "So, tell me Turles. Why have you decided to once again grace the Earth with your presence?"
"Because with Kakarot dead there is no one to stop me. The Earth is mine."
"That's where your wrong!" Vegeta transformed into Super Vegeta. After the transformation was complete he said, "Now you'll fight me at full power." Once he was at the pinnacle of his power he said, "This ought to take you out Turles! FINAL FLASH!"
Vegeta's Final Flash was deflected by Turles with one flick of his wrist. Turles began to laugh wildly "Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! All hail the mighty "Prince" and his valiant effort. If that's the best you can do your sunk." While Turles was saying this Vegeta just stood there open-mouthed as he made sounds of shock.
Gohan was watching the entire battle unfold. He said, "I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm joining the Fight."
Everyone else followed Gohan to the site of the battle.
When they arrived Tien and Chiaotzu started off by firing a simultaneous Dodon Ray. Right after they launched their attack Krillin and Yamcha joined in by doing their best moves.
Krillin said, "Fierce Destructo Disk!"
Immediately after Krillin launched his attack Yamcha said, "Spirit Ball Attack!"
As Yamcha released the Spirit Ball Piccolo said, "Scatter Shot fire!"
The four energy blasts converged on Turles just as the Scatter Shot surrounded him. The Scatter Shot hit Turles just as the four energy blasts connected. When the smoke cleared they were all horrified-for Turles was unscathed.
Upon seeing this everyone left save Piccolo.
After everyone left Piccolo joined Vegeta and Gohan on the battlefield.
Turles said, "Well now the Namek believes that he can help huh?"
"I don't believe that I can. I know I can."
"Really. We'll see about that."
"I'm sick of hearing your annoying voice Turles. Take this! Special Beam Cannon!" Piccolo released his fully powered Special Beam Cannon.
The Special Beam Cannon was getting closer and closer to Turles. When it was twenty feet away Turles shot an energy blast at it. Turles' energy blast dissipated the Special Beam Cannon.
Before Piccolo had a chance to do anything else Turles charged at him. Turles grabbed Piccolo and then he proceeded to use his finishing move on him.
Turles started by delivering several punishing blows with the last punch sending Piccolo to the ground. Once he was on the ground Turles stepped on his head. "Now die!" After saying this Turles shot Piccolo with one final energy blast.
Piccolo looked at Gohan and Vegeta and said, "He's too powerful. It looks like it's up to you."
"Can you get back to the Lookout?" Gohan asked.
"Yes." Piccolo then returned to Kami's Lookout leaving Gohan and Vegeta to do battle with Turles.
Before Vegeta could do anything Turles screamed, "Here take this prince!" Saying this Turles shot a huge energy blast at Vegeta.
Vegeta quickly shot a Final Flash. A battle of energy blasts ensued. Unfortunately, for Vegeta however, Turles was just too powerful. Because Turles won the energy blast fight pushing both of them into Vegeta leaving him unconscious.
Now that Vegeta has been knocked out Gohan is the only one who can stop Turles from destroying the Earth.
Turles looked at Gohan and said, "So, Gohan what're you gonna do? Run away like you did five and a half years ago?"
"If that's what you think Turles you're sorely mistaken because I'm going to stay this time. Because honestly I was scared of you, but that was then and this is now; and I'm no longer afraid of you. And do you know why?"
"No, why?"
"'Cause you're not a match for me."
"Oh, Really? Don't forget-"
"Yeah, yeah I know. You've been training in Hell ever since you got there, but don't you forget that I was the one to kill Cell and you know how powerful he was. So, in all actuality Turles there is no way for you to kill me. I'm way too strong."
"Well, we've got a cheeky one here. Cell told me about your cheekiness."
"Did he now. That's interesting. Say, Turles?"
"What."
"How about we skip all the chitchat and get down to business. I'd like to finish you off before suppertime."
"My aren't we cocky. Very well then let's finish this." Gohan and Turles finally began the fight. The final battle to decide the fate of the Earth has begun.
Gohan and Turles began the fight by rushing each other. When they collided a furious hand-to-hand fight ensued comprised of very powerful punches and kicks. After five minutes of intense fighting the hand-to-hand fight ended in a stalemate.
Gohan and Turles were breathing heavily and once Turles caught his breath he said, "Well, Gohan, it would seem that we're evenly matched."
"I agree. It looks like all that training you did down in Hell was worth it because so far you've proved to be quite strong. But I'm afraid no amount of training can prepare you for my full power." Saying this Gohan transformed. "Now you'll have the privilege of fighting me as a Super Saiyan two."
"Finally I get to see your true power. Now things will get real interesting."
"Enough talk! Let's hurry up and finish this!"
"As you wish. Take this Gohan! HAAAA!" Turles shot a gigantic energy blast.
Immediately after Turles shot his blast Gohan prepared to release a full-powered Kamehameha. "Kamehameha!" Gohan's full-powered Kamehameha collided with Turles' blast.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Is that all you've got Gohan? How pathetic."
"No, that isn't all I've got Turles. You want it all! Here take it! Go back to Hell and never return! HAAAAA!" Gohan pushed the blasts into Turles.
As he was enveloped by the blasts Turles let out an ear-piercing scream, "AAAHHH! Darn you Gohan! You'll pay for this! If I don't make you pay someone else will!" Once the smoke cleared Gohan was relieved to see that Turles was no more.
Gohan took a big sigh of relief, "Whew! It's finally over. Now I can go home and rest." Gohan then returned home where he enjoyed a delicious supper. Afterwards he went straight to bed so he could get some well-deserved sleep.
Just before falling asleep he said, "Now the Earth is safe. I just hope it stays that way. If someone does come after me as Turles threatened I'll be ready because as long as I'm alive no one will destroy the Earth. I will protect the Earth just as my dad has done so many times in the past." After saying this Gohan fell asleep.
The Earth is once again freed from Turles' threat of total annihilation thanks to Gohan. Whenever evil threatens to destroy the Earth Gohan will re-emerge from the shadows to defend the planet.
