Dear Mum,

It's January 4th, and I'm back at Hogwarts again. I had a heartwarming time with Grandma and Grandpa Potter. Grandpa Potter shared his brave battles with he-who-must-not-be-named, which I found fascinating. It was a joy to be around them. Uncle Albus and Aunt... I can't recall her name exactly, but Uncle Albus's wife was lovely. Alexander and his younger siblings were a delight, and I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy that Grover and I weren't as close. Uncle James was there, too, but he was alone. Everyone seemed curious about you and Grover, but no one asked me.

By the way, I had another encounter with that third-year boy again. He told me I had gorgeous eyes, and it made me feel a mix of emotions. I think I might be in love. That's what Uncle Albus's wife said, at least when I tried to explain it to her.

Dear Mum,

Today is the 10th of January. I tried to help another student in potions class, but my hair caught fire. Grover saw it later and laughed at me. Someone hexed me when I was leaving the dining hall, but there were too many people to see who it was. The hex made me feel sick, and I threw up slugs. The third-year boy saw me in this embarrassing state, and I just wanted to cry. But then, something unexpected happened. He helped me undo the hex and took me somewhere else where no one would see us. He told me I should have courage and that things would work out, but I was worried they wouldn't. I didn't tell him that, but he could see it in my eyes because he said he'd cheer me on no matter what. I think he thinks that Grover likes me or something. I explained that Grover was my brother. I had never seen someone switch sides so quickly in my entire life. He started badmouthing Grover the second the word 'brother' came out of my mouth, some of the words I had never heard before, but I don't think it's a good idea to write them, let alone say them.

Good Night,

Dear Mum,

Today is the 13th of January, and I fainted the day after I wrote last, but this time, I stayed unconscious for a few days. The Medi-witch had no idea what happened this time, but Grover was also in the hospital wing, being treated for something unrelated when I arrived. The Medi-witch said that it was almost as if I had taken his pain away and kept it for myself, which was highly unusual for twins but especially unheard of for fraternal twins. Mum, I'm really worried. Why are we like this? Did something happen that you can't tell me about?

Good Night,

Dear Mum,

Today is the 14th of January, and I found an interesting book called "Did My Lies Reach You?" It's fascinating because it's a love story about a witch and a vampire who lie to each other about their true selves. The last three pages are missing, driving me crazy trying to figure out where they are. I found the book in the library, and I'm sure other people want to know how it ended. I'm determined to find those missing pages and uncover the truth about the witch and the vampire's love story. I was trying to figure out where to look for them when I remembered the chamber of secrets that Grandpa Potter mentioned, so I looked for that, but the chamber of secrets was gone. Either that, or I looked in the wrong room for it, but why are so many girls' bathrooms in Hogwarts?

Good Night,

Katie-Anne Corner

Dear Mum,

Today is the 17th of January, and I found out where the pages were and what happened to the Chamber of Secrets. The Chamber of Secrets was destroyed during the battle of Hogwarts, in which Grandpa Potter and everyone fought. The pages, on the other hand, were stuffed into the headmaster's desk. All I had to do was ask Headmaster Grandpa. He told me it was highly inappropriate for me to ask for things like that (going into his desk), but seeing as I was his only granddaughter, it should be fine. I found them, but it was not the ending I was hoping for. The witch and vampire broke up, and it was utter rubbish. I was so disappointed. It seemed that whoever read the book last thought so too, because they wrote in handwriting similar to mine, "What a Joke," which made me laugh. But under that, I noticed another writing style: "Tell me about it." I almost felt like the two people who wrote those notes had a better love story than this rubbish (or stories, which is probably the case).

Good Night,

Dear Mum,

Today is the 19th of January, and I got a stomach ache after I ate lunch, so I told the Medi-witch that and she told me that Grover just came in because he was punched in the stomach, but as soon as I arrived he was fine and his bruise disappeared. She said last time it happened, he had broken his arm and then I had broken mine in the same place when his suddenly was healed. Then, I suddenly had a question... How am I still alive?

Good Night,

Dear Mum,

Today is the 20th of January, and I was forced to drink an unknown potion by Grover and his friends, who were laughing the whole time. It had to be some kind of love potion but for some reason it didn't do anything to me, and they were asking me to kiss one of Grover's friends, a boy named Lucas Yard, but Yard was too shy and I refused to do it. I told them that they hadn't succeeded in their potion, to which they laughed and said they stole a weird potion from the Potions Professor that did work, and now I look like an adult. I frowned and looked down. I did now have the body of an adult now, but I didn't grow much taller.

They announced that there was a disturbance last night and that tonight, no one is to leave their house's common room until morning and if anyone breaks the curfew they will be severely punished with possible expulsion. A few kids thought that was funny, but the majority of us did not.

Good Night,

Katie-Anne Corner

Dear Mum,

Today is the 21st of January, and they lied. Nobody got expelled, but Grover and his friends as well as Alexander, Juliet, and Lucius snuck out. Surprisingly, only Grover and his friends got caught by teachers. My friends got caught up in something much worse. They ended up fighting a Troll that I somehow heard someone say Grover and his friends had let it loose in the dungeon the night before last. I wish I snuck out to help my friends, but they told me that it was probably better that I stayed in my bed. I heard my three friends being called the silver trio, like Grandpa Potter and his friends, but silver instead of golden.

Good Night,

Dear Mum,

Today is January 29th, and Grover pushed me down the stairs and I landed on the third-year boy I had been talking about. My face and ears turned bright red, but we stayed like that for too long as a crowd had formed around us before I gathered enough strength to stand up, but I broke my ankle and the boy ended up with a broken shoulder. Lucius ended up carrying me to the hospital wing, while the third-year boy walked with us on his own.

The third-year boy told us to call him Ben, but he didn't tell us his full name, which was suspicious. He said that he was a muggleborn and that he had thought that Grover was trying to woo me the wrong way when he first met me, but after finding out that he was my brother it made him sick to his stomach. Ben wanted to help, but he never had the courage to. Lucius laughed and then left.

While Ben and I were getting treated, my legs turned black and blue. The Medi-witch had no idea what was going on and couldn't turn them back to the right color, but after a few days of staying in the hospital wing, she was able to find the right potion. It was a nasty smelling red potion, that smelled like what I imagined a corpse would smell like. She said that I would have to drink it for a few days before it would go away for good, but she didn't have enough and didn't know how to make it as it was not taught. It improved the tightness in my chest as well.

Good Night,

Katie-Anne Corner

Dear Mum,

Today is the 31st of January and I was able to properly get ahead in all my class again, despite my health troubles. Grover seemed to have been punished for what he had done, but again, not expelled. He should've been expelled for bringing in the troll, but that's my opinion not Grandfather's.

I ended up drinking only two potions, when I was supposed to drink four, because there simply were not enough. Grover broke his femur, so I ended up in the hospital wing with a broken femur as well, but I don't think he did it on purpose.

Good Night,

Katie-Anne Corner
