"This thing is too adorable!" Sylvie was cooing at Cyndaquill, who after a bit of shyness, had opened up to the group. He was currently sitting in Hannah's lap and trying his best to steal a fry from her plate as stealthy as possible. Which was a bit hard when his snoot was as loud as a car engine.
"Listen buster," Hannah put on a fake scolding tone, "I didn't just sign a fourth of a tree's worth of paperwork saying I promised to feed you the proper nutrition for you to fill up on junk food!"
Cybdaquill looked up at her and buried his face into her lap, which caused the table to laugh. Hannah sighed before grabbing a fry and handing it down to him. Two cautious sniffs and the little fire type grabbed it and devoured it before Hannah registered it was gone from her fingers.
"Hadn't even had you for a day and you're already spoiled," Hannah clicked her tongue as she gave his head some scratches.
After her interview, which Hannah was still cringing at, they had all met at the Lilyveil Cafe in Hearthstone's City Center to celebrate. Taking advantage of the summer weather, they had all gotten a table outside. The patio outside had several other tables filled with people chatting and eating and Pokemon were allowed out on the patio. Several people had Yampers or Maschiffs out, though one man was actually eating at the table with his Galarian Meowth.
Hannah had taken a seat in between her two siblings, Adrian on her left, Tove on her right. Colton was directly across from her, in between Sylvie and Jacob, while Zeara had taken a spot on the end of the table, both of her Pokemon out with her. Blumpy had flown over to inspect Cyndaquill before going back to his Trainer, but Priscilla had stayed perched on Zeara's shoulder, taking fries that the girl would hand to her.
Normally Hannah would have blanched at spending money frivolously on food, but everyone had insisted. Colton had even bribed Tove by offering to get her a milkshake and Hannah had a very hard time telling her sister no. The little gremlin was happily sucking down a strawberry milkshake with a plate that had previously had some Combusken tenders on it. Adrian was finishing down his Tauros burger as well and he looked happier than Hannah had seen in a long time. He was petting Cyndaquill's head in between bites.
"Well, Hannah," Colton said as he waved over the waitress for the bill, which he was annoyingly paying for, "Now that you got the little guy, you ready to go on Tour, kick some ass and win the Championship?"
"And go broke immediately? No thank you," Hannah snorted, "We'll make sure to do some battles at the arenas but that's it." She frowned when she saw Jacob snort.
"That's not what you told the reporter," Jacob stood up and put a hand on his hip, "You'll just have to watch and see Kate!" He flashed a shit-eating grin at his friend, "Sound familiar?"
"Oh shut up! I was caught up in the heat of the moment!" Hannah felt her cheeks redden as the table laughed, including her siblings. The little traitors
"Could have fooled me Han," Slyvie laughed, "Man Jake, you nailed the sassiness she had! That was good!"
"Perks of knowing her since the second grade," Jacob laughed, "Hell we even went to the seventh grade dance together! Which by the way, terrible dancer!"
"You begged me because every girl you had asked had turned you down and your brother threatened to make you dress as a girl and he'd take you as his date," Hannah replied with her own smirk as Jacob's face paled and Sylvie and Zeara started laughing, "Oh I got stories too Jakey. Don't open that box up."
"Alright, alright, fine!" Jacob held up his hands, "Leave out that I asked you first out of all the girls and just throw me under the bus!"
"You should know better than to mess with her," Colton said with a hint of pride, "Han's nice, but she's got claws."
Yeah, I think it's time we pull the trigger on this. This man is driving me nuts, Hannah thought as she met her neighbor's eyes before Hannah felt something shift in her lap.
"Hannah-Banana, he's going for the fries!" Zeara yelled as Cyndaquill launched himself from Hannah's lap and finished off the remaining fries on her plate before Hannah could pick him up. She turned the little fire type around to look him in the eyes. He burped happily.
"Are we sure they didn't give me a Lechonk instead of Cyndaquill?" Hannah shook her head before putting the little fiery porcupine on her shoulders, "What are you guys doing after this? I called off both jobs today, so I'm free the rest of the day."
"Well, we actually wanted to talk to you about that," Jacob said nervously, looking at Colton and Zeara. Hannah tilted her head at her half-Orrian friend.
"Oh Jacob, she won't be mad. She already knows about me," Zeara said as her Rokkiedee cawed disapprovingly at the boy. She met Hannah's eyes, "We talked and all of us are going on Tour. We already talked with the dean. They approved our gap year for the Tour. Won't affect our credit schedule."
Hannah's eyes widened as she looked at Colton, Jacob, and Sylvie. Colton was smiling, Jacob was nervous, and Sylvie looked mildly annoyed. "Wait, I thought you were only talking about that if you won the raffle?"
"Hey, leave me out of this!" Sylvie said, "I'm staying in school. Going to do my pre-reqs and transfer to Boughbreak Uni for my medical degree. I don't even own a Pokemon. It's these two knuckleheads who are gung-ho on camping and getting attacked in the wild!"
"Thanks for the support Sylvia," Colton said dryly, "But yes. All three of us are going to travel together for the Tour. I was hoping to win a starter to help build the team but Baldric can handle anything. Zeara's already got two Pokemon, which is a huge advantage for first-timers. And well," he trailed off as he looked at Jacob.
"Hey, the hell is that look for? Mr. Bungles can throw down with the best of them bro!" Jacob retorted, clutching the Pokeball at his belt protectively, "He just has a bit of a mass issue at the moment!"
"Jake, that Zigzagoon is fat. You didn't let him out because he'd have eaten everything before we could get a bite in!
"Hey, he'll work that weight off on Tour!"
"Anyways," Zeara intervened, walking around as Colton took care of the check for the table, "Hannah, I think you should come with us. Even with just Cyndaquill, you have a solid start on the Tour. And you can make money on it, plenty of people do!"
Zeara took Hannah's hand as her and Blumpy got close and put on their best pouty eyes, while Priscilla huffed and fluffed herself at being so close to another person, "Pretty pretty pretty please! Come with us!"
"That's not fair Z," Hannah said as she felt Cyndaquill tense from the close contact, though he was curious about Blumpy, trying to paw at his string arms, "I can't go. I have too much responsibility at home. I can't go gallivanting around the country, spend all of our savings and come home to an eviction notice!"
"Maybe you should go."
Hannah turned and looked at Adrian, who looked very determined. She frowned at him.
"Adrian, the idea is nice, but-"
"Hannah, you aren't our mom. It's not your job to do everything," Adrian said with steel in his voice, "You've been working yourself to the bone for years. I know you still want to be a Trainer. You'd have taken down your posters if you had truly given up."
Look at this perceptive little shit, Hannah thought with grudging respect as she listened to her little brother, who sounded and looked older than he should have right now.
"I know enough to cook for me and Tove. And Mrs. Larsen can drive us to and from school while you are gone. You can pay all the bills online with the money you can earn on Tour," Adrian felt his cheeks heat up when he realized the entire table, even the Pokemon, were looking at him, "I think you owe it to yourself and to us to go and at least try. I know you can do it. You're the only one on our street besides Tove that Hob actually listens to. So please, just try. For us."
There was a silence as Hannah felt her mouth gap before Jacob whistled, "Goddamn, little man just laid down the law."
"Shut up Jacob," Hannah said automatically as she looked over to Tove, "Would you be okay if I went away for the whole year Tove? You'd only see me on video calls." If there was anyone who would want her to stay, it would be Tove. As far as the little six year old was concerned, Hannah was her mother.
Her younger sister looked up at her with big brown eyes and put a finger to her chin and hummed, kicking her feet as she did, before nodding.
"Only if you win and promise to call every night!"
Gods am I really considering this? Hannah thought as she vaguely heard her friends telling her to just say yes. She felt a nuzzle on her neck and glanced down to see Cyndaquill rubbing his head on her. He had been bred to be a battler. Someone else who could have used him was denied a spot because she had entered the raffle.
Fuck it. I'm doing it. I owe this to little Hannah. She'd want me to at least try.
"Okay, I'll do it," she held up her hand when her friends cheered, "But I have rules."
"Name them," Colton said seriously as they were packing up at the cafe.
"One, I want Adrian and Tove to stay with your parents while we are gone. I'll send money to your mom to pay for all of their expenses. They aren't staying alone in that house with Myra."
"We'll have to talk to my parents, but my mom has wanted to call the authorities on Myra for years. I doubt she'll say no," Colton said. Hannah shot him a grateful glance before continuing.
"Two, if I start to lose too much money, I'm out. Three, if I don't like this after the first Gym, I'm out. Is that clear?"
"Crystal," Zeara said before squealing and hugging her slightly taller friend, "I am so happy! I've been thinking about this since last May!"
"Fuck it, Bewear hug!" Jacob yelled and grabbed both girls. Colton laughed and joined in as both of Hannah's siblings laughed, cheering her name. Even Sylvie laughed and wrapped her arms around the pile of people.
Hannah smiled as Cyndaquill let off a squeal of surprise from the dogpile.
I hope I don't regret this.
7th Avenue in Hearthstone was home to several electronics stores, the Hearthstone Glass and Chemical Worker's Club, and Jenkins and Co's legal offices. It was also home to one of the three officially League maintained and licensed battle arenas for aspiring Trainers and their Pokemon to hone their skills in.
At four in the afternoon in August, it was the sweet spot. Most of the afternoon battlers had left for the day and there were quite a few arenas open. Hannah had been here a few times before, taking Hob to give him some exercise and practice. She had won about two-third of her matches against the local youngsters and lasses with their Starlys and Rattata, though Hannah had always credited Hob's time as a stray for his strength, not any prowess of commanding him on her part. He mostly did what he wanted on his own anyways.
"Alright, we got two arenas reserved," Colton said as he came back, "Arena D and Arena E. We only get them for one match each though. I guess Rystan's Raiders have the place reserved for pre-Tour practice in a bit."
"One match isn't ideal, but even one battle should help us get into the mindset we'll need," Zeara flipped some hair out of her eye, "I'm battling Hannah though! Called it!"
"What, I wanted to fight Hannah!" Jacob said, "We all only have one Pokemon besides you."
"You just know Baldric will wipe the floor with your little trash Pancham," Colton smirked as Jacob flipped him off. Hannah tried to stop tapping her foot. These were her friends, but good Gods, was she nervous. She'd agreed to the spar because she needed practice if she was going threw with this. Sylvie had taken her siblings home, much to their protest, but Hannah couldn't afford the spectator fees for them. She looked over at the stands, where amateur Trainers and Pokemon battle enthusiasts would come to watch the training matches.
They had a small crowd already at the arenas. Word had gotten around town about the girl who had won the raffle.
They all want to see if I deserve him, she thought darkly before speaking up over Jacob and Colton's argument.
"Well Z, let's go and get ready to rumble. Cyndaquill against both your Pokemon. We gotta see if this little dude's potential matches his pedigree."
Zeara let off a squeal as she grabbed her friend by the hand and led her over to Arena D. The League Arenas in Hearthstone were built for low-level sparring, unlike the monstrous complexes in Thronehold, Barrowdon, or Stormgate. All the Arenas here were oval in shape, with reinforced steel walls with enhanced plexiglass, roughly thirty feet in length and twenty feet in width with dirt floors to allow Ground types to dig as well as the option to flood portions of the arena for Water types. Every arena had several Kirlia and Meditite on hand to provide Reflect and Light Screen shields for matches that might have destructive moves that the physical barriers couldn't handle. Trainers were positioned behind some protective railing and a Meditite was already refreshing the Light Screen barrier that would protect Trainers from stray moves.
The League charged admission here even for registered Trainers, though Hannah had adamantly refused to let Colton or Zeara pay for this time. The one hundred krone fee was steep, but training in city limits without being in a League facility was illegal as hell. Didn't mean she hadn't winced handing over several hours worth of wages to the bored looking clerk at the entrance.
A grizzled looking older employee dressed in the crimson and black of the League let them in and Hannah's eyes went to the four Pokeballs on his belt. Most people knew to keep fights friendly but tempers flared and you had the shitheads who wanted to ruin it for everybody. No one ever really succeeded in causing mayhem though, the employees here were all seasoned trainers. They could end any fight that got out of hand easily. As Zeara and Hannah entered the Arena, the League employee locked the heavy steel door behind them, before turning to the two young women.
"Alright ladies, my name is Jasper," the man's voice was a lot smoother than Hannah had expected, "I'll be your referee for this sparring match. First off, let's go over the rules."
"First of all, these are non-lethal matches. You kill a Pokemon or intentionally target a Trainer, your ass will be out of here in cuffs before you can blink," Hannah swallowed at how harsh the man's tone became, "Second, stay in the marked positions where the barriers are. You step over even a toe, that's instant disqualification and a chewing out from me. Third, matches will go on for twenty minutes or until a Trainer is out of usable Pokemon. If a Pokemon faints or you voluntarily pull them out of the battle, they are considered unusable. Fourth, the number of Pokemon and number of switches is up to the combatants. Whoever is the healthiest when the time runs out wins if there aren't any knockouts. Fifth and most importantly, I can end this match at any time if I feel like there is any cheating, malicious intentions, or disrespectful attitudes. You get all of that?"
Well no pressure at all, Hannah thought but she nodded, "Yep. All good sir."
"Thank you for the information," Zeara smiled as Jasper pulled a tablet off a stand near the door entrance and looked at it.
"Alright, Zeara Rasmussen and Hannah Koppel," he swiped through a screen, "Number of Pokemon?"
"Two!"
"Just one."
"This a one on one then?" he asked as Zeara shook her head.
"Nope! Two on one! We are here to put Hannah's new starter through his paces!" Zeara beamed happily as the gathered crowd of spectators started murmuring to themselves.
"Ahhh you're the girl who won the Cyndaquill," Jasper smiled at Hannah, "Congrats on that. My sister won hers in a raffle about ten years ago. Her Typhlosian is a monster on the field. He's going to serve you well."
"Oh, uh, thank you," Hannah blinked as Jasper put some data into the tablet before asking them to hand over their Pokeballs to register them into the system. After a few minutes, both women got their Pokeballs back and Hannah watched her and Zeara's faces and names appear on the screen at the top of the arena, with Zeara having two Pokeballs underneath her and Hannah having only one.
"Alright, as there is an unequal number here Zeara may send out her Pokemon first. Good luck girls and may the best Trainer win! Begin!" Jasper yelled as the buzzer sounded. Hannah felt sweat going down her back as she gripped Cyndaquill's ball tightly.
Time to show your stuff, she thought as Zeara smiled and threw out a Pokeball with silver accents painted on it.
"Come on out Priscilla!"
A flash of white and Zeara's Rookiedee was on the field, looking annoyed as always. She cawwed loudly and took flight into the air. Hannah let out a breath and tossed her own ball, "Cyndaquill, let's battle!
Another flash and her new fire type was on the field and after a moment of confusion on where he was, immediately got into a ready stance. Hannah raised an eyebrow before remembering he had been bred for this. He had probably been in arenas for a while before he got shipped out.
"Priscilla, use Leer and then get in close!" Zeara called out as her Rookiedee cried and then narrowed its eyes at Cyndaquill, who flinched. Before Hannah could get a word out, Priscillla had already crossed the distance.
"Peck!"
"Shit, dodge it!"
The command came too late and Cyndaquill let out a cry of pain as the Rookiedee flew by and viciously pecked his head and back, drawing some blood. The bird Pokemon was already flying around for another pass as Hannah racked her brains for the moves that had been listed on Cyndaquill's paperwork.
"Smokescreen, make sure to keep moving!" Hannah threw her arm out as Cyndaquill's back sputtered and filled the arena with a thick gray smoke. Zeara laughed, looking like she was having the time of her life.
"Fly around in circles, see if you blew that smoke away!" Zeara called out to her flying type, which cawwed back and obeyed. Hannah cursed when she realized she couldn't see where Cyndaquill was, but hoped that he could see through the smoke.
"Ember when she gets in range!" Hannah cried out. There was a flash of red from the center of the smokescreen, then a small ball of fire sailed out. Zeara was already on top of it.
"Sweep low to where that came from and Peck!" Zeara called out as Hannah grit her teeth. Flying types were bullshit.
"Ember again! Get her out of the sky!" Hannah commanded as Priscilla flew low, the smoke already dissipating. Cyndaquill was clearly visible and let off another Ember. The Rookiedee bobbed to the left and flew by, getting a Peck off on Cyndaquill's leg. The little fire type yelped as Hannah yelled again.
"Ember again, before she gets height!"
A flash of red and Zeara's Rookiedee let off a chirp of pain as the ball of flame impacted on her back. The force of it sent the tiny bird Pokemon to the ground. Hannah gripped the railing tight as she knew she had to seize the advantage.
"Tackle her! Don't let her get back up in the air!"
Cyndaquill let off a little screech and rushed the flying type while she was still trying to get up. He crashed into her hard, sending the little bird tumbling over. Zeara gasped and yelled, "Get in the air! He's too strong on the ground!"
"Ember!" Hannah felt her voice go hoarse. Do it now before she gets up!
A ball of flame hit the Rookiedee just as she got to her feet, knocking the little bird prone. She tried to get up but then went slack as Jasper hit a buzzer and held up his hand.
"Rookiedee is unable to battle. First match goes to Cyndaquill! Zeara, send out your next Pokemon!"
Holy shit we won, Hannah let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding, Holy shit. I forgot what this felt like. She looked up and the scoreboard had a Pokeball grayed out on Zeara's side and a point on hers. This was her first win with Cyndaquill.
It had been almost a year since she had taken Hob here for a few quick matches. She forgot how fucking fun this was.
Zeara held out her Pokeball and recalled Priscilla, "Thanks for the effort sweetie. You almost had him." She then sent Hannah a cocky look, "Good job Hannah-Banana, but victory will be mine! Blumpy, avenge your sister!"
A flash of light and Blumpy came out swinging his arms, letting off the high pitched cry of a Drifloon, like helium escaping while a child whispered into it. Hannah frowned. Blumpy wouldn't need to come down and tackling him wouldn't work regardless thanks to him being a ghost type. They'd just phase through.
Just going to have bombard him with Embers then, she thought as Zeara commanded him to Focus Energy. The ghost balloon cried out again as red energy rippled through him. Not good.
"Smokescreen, move, then Ember!" Hannah hoped that wasn't too many commands at once, but Cyndaquill obliged, filling the arena with smoke again. Hannah frowned when Zeara smiled.
"Blumpy, Gust that away!"
"Oh fuck," Hannah swore as the Drifloon waved both of his arms forward and small twister flew from him. It quickly blew away the smoke just as Cyndaquill let off another Ember, the flames on his back blaring a heat Hannah could feel through the Light Screen around her. Hannah pumped a fist up as the fireball was about to collide with the ghost type.
"Minimize!"
"Oh that's not fair!" Hannah yelled back as Blumpy quickly deflated in size, the Ember impacting harmlessly on the concrete wall. Cyndaquill looked panicked as the ghost type loomed above him.
"Gust again! Send him flying!" Zeara fucking twirled as she said that and Hannah realized that her friend must have been coming here to train for a while. That or she just discovered how into this whole battling scene she actually was. Regardless, her Drifloon obeyed and Cyndaquill couldn't get out of the way fast enough. The flying type attack sent him spinning up in the air and he landed on his back with a loud thud, dirt and dust flying everywhere. Blumpy was already on top of him.
"Astonish!"
"Shit, Leer!"
Too late. The balloon Pokemon screamed forward and impacted her fire type, its cries making her hair stand up as it screeched like a child being sucked into a windstorm. Cyndaquill was sent skidding through the dirt and after a single leg twitch, Jasper hit the buzzer.
"Cyndaquill is unable to battle. Match goes to Zeara Rasmussen. Recall your Pokemon please!"
Hannah felt her shoulders sag as she saw the timer. 16:45. The whole match had barely taken four minutes. She recalled Cyndaquill and rubbed his Pokeball. She could see a lot of mumbling in the crowd and a lot of pointing and glances at her. She couldn't help but glare through the glass before looking at her Pokeball.
"That wasn't on you buddy. I'm more used to Hob doing his own thing. We'll work on that," she said softly as Zeara recalled Blumpy and ran up to Hannah and pulled her into a tight hug.
"Oh my Legendaries, Hannah!" the girl squealed, "That was so much fun! You were amazing out there!"
Hannah snorted as Jasper motioned for them to head out, "You just trounced me. I was on the backfoot the whole time. Flying types are bullshit. No offense."
Zeara laughed and nodded her head. "Yeah I definitely had some advantages over you. But Cyndaquill was great! You were a little slow on commanding, but he's got power. Priscilla has taken hits before, but that Ember knocked her right out of the sky! He's got the potential, you just need to work with him."
They left the arena, heading over to Arena E where Jacob and Colton were in the middle of their match, Zeara skipping along slightly ahead of her. Hannah shook her head, smiling as she did. Leave it to Zeara to make her feel good about the loss. They heard a buzzer coming from Arena E and picked up the pace, climbing into the spectator stands.
"Aww we missed it!" Zeara pouted. Hannah looked down to see Jacob sighing and recalling his Galarian Zigzagoon, which was sprawled out on the dirt with bruises already forming on it. Colton's Machop, Baldric, was flexing, soaking in his win. A habit he had picked up from his Trainer, as Colton was standing there with a cocky look on his stupid sexy face before recalling his Pokemon. He joined Jacob, watching as the curly-haired boy pulled out a wad of krone and handed it to him before they left.
Hannah rejoined her two male friends and saw that Jacob looked none too pleased with his loss. She sent him a sympathetic look as Zeara congratulated Colton on his win.
"I take it Mr. Bungles had a rough time?" Hannah gently asked as Jacob looked crestfallen.
"One hit. That was all it took. We were dodging fine, then he got out of breath, and that damn Machop kicked him right into the dirt," Jacob rubbed his Pokeball as Colton shook his head.
"Dude, you really need to put him on a diet. A Zigzagoon should not be getting out of breath in five minutes."
"Fuck off, he's my perfect baby boy."
Colton sighed before looking at Hannah with a questioning look, "Well how'd the first battle with him go?"
"We lost," Hannah sighed before Zeara interrupted, "Don't listen to her. She knocked out Priscilla. Blumpy won, but that little Cyndaquill is powerful. Hannah's gonna be the one to watch out for, I promise you."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence Z," Hannah laughed as texted Sylvie that she'd be home in a half hour, "I don't think I'm that good. But…"
"But?" Colton gave her a knowing grin.
"But. This was fun as hell. I want to get Cyndaquill trained up. And I want to kick some ass with him."
Colton gave her a smile that sent her heart aflutter.
"That's my girl."
Hannah was typing away on her laptop, on the couch with the TV showing one of Tove's cartoons. Her sister was introducing Hob to Cyndaquill, which was going…not as bad as Hannah had thought. Hob had hissed and meowed up a storm when she had brought home this strange new Pokemon, but Cyndaquill hadn't fought back. He had hid behind Hannah's legs, but after a bit of coaxing, the two Pokemon had sniffed each other and come to the conclusion that they weren't going to fight.
Though that didn't mean that Hob wanted to play with him, much to Tove's disappointment. Adrian came in with two cans of Royal Locket soda, handing Hannah one as he took a seat next to her. He peeked at her laptop curiously.
"Whatcha looking at?" he asked as she popped open the tab on the soda, the noise causing Cyndaquill to yelp and curl into a ball. Trove rushed over, assuring the little fire type that it was just a pop can while Hob just rolled his eyes.
"Rules. Regulations. All the shit I need to sign up for the Tour tomorrow," Hannah sighed, "Looking at some forum posts on the Gyms too. There's a lot to take in. Lot of good Trainers coming on Tour this year, either back from breaks or back from overseas Tours."
"Yeah I saw that on the sports channel," Adrian agreed, "I mean you have the registration fee. What else is there?"
"Well for starters, it's a thousand krone to register. Then it's five hundred krone every month after to stay registered," Hannah said glumly, "Plus there's badge limits on how many Pokemon you can have or even what you can catch or where you can go. You're only allowed three Pokemon until you beat your second gym. And even then, it only gets bumped up to four. You have to put up money for a fight. Five hundred minimum or half of what you have on you if you don't have enough."
She was surprised when her brother hugged her.
"Hey, you got this. You're the toughest person I know. You and Surtr got this."
She smiled, thankful that Myra wasn't anywhere to ruin this moment, before scrunching her face in confusion.
"Surtr?"
"Oh yeah, I think that's what you should name Cyndaquill!" Adrian jumped up excitedly, "He was a great Reaver in the past that used Fire Types exclusively when he went Reaving. I know you aren't a history nerd like I am, but I think it fits!"
Hannah looked over to Cyndaquill, who had been coaxed out of his ball by Tove and was amusing her younger sister by blowing puffs of smoke from his back. Jasper had said that his sister's Typhlosian had been a monster in battle.
"Yeah, I think it does too."
Well hopefully my first battle wasn't too terribly written. Hannah is officially on her way. Next chapter will be signing up, getting supplies and setting out on Tour.
I have Hannah's first two Pokemon planned out, but the rest of her team is undecided. As always, thanks for reading.
