"Cat, do you really have to do that right now?" Marinette turned in her desk chair, shooting Cat a look as she worked on homework, her long ponytail falling over one shoulder.

Cat had been playing with a tennis ball, bouncing it off the wall. It was raining out, and both were a bit a restless. "I would say yes, Princess, but your busy so I have no one to roll the ball back and forth."

Marinette sighed and counted to ten. She wanted to sit and play with her Kitty, but she needed to get her homework done, as she was catching up from last night's too. Being a superhero and student sure kept her busy!

"I need to check on dinner," Marinette stood up. "Be good while I'm gone, okay?" she blew him a kiss and disappeared downstairs. Cat sighed, the ball now forgotten.

He eyed his sleeping box and clambered in. Sure, it wasn't as much fun as playing with his best friend, but it would do for now.

Cat dreamed he was round like his favorite tennis ball, but there was no one to play with. He sighed, thinking he'd take a roll.

Cat rolled down the hill, going faster and faster, just like his yellow ball. Cat begin to feel sick, but he couldn't stop rolling, and meowed out for help.

"Don't worry, I'm coming!" Ladybug! His lady had come to save him! "Lucky Charm!" she called, and a small ballpoint pen dropped into her hand. "What am I supposed to do with us?" "Deflate me!" Cat called. "Before I roll into the Seine!" "Kitty, your a genius!"

No, I'm just very sick, Cat thought, and he felt a slight jab and felt the air deflating. "Thanks for saving me, M'lady," he said. "Any time," Ladybug said, helping him upright, and Cat noticed their lips were so close, but he was so dizzy….

Cat woke with a start, no longer dizzy, but he hadn't gotten to kiss Ladybug! Boo! Oh, well, Cat thought to himself. "I'd rather play with a tennis ball then shape-shift into one."

Marinette came back then, and Cat clambered out of his box. Boy, did he have a story for her!
