(Artemis)

Artemis and the hunters walked through the alleys of LA. They didn't want to be here, in the city, but Zeus had ordered that they hunt down a large concentration of monsters in the area. The past three years had been straining for her and her hunters. Olympus was torn since the Giant War. Yes we survived, but at the cost of our greatest hero. Many of the Olympians wanted to find him and bring him home, but Zeus in his fear, cast him from Olympus. He was no better than Kronos.

Percy Jackson.

The boy, well man realistically, was an enigma. He had saved Artemis both from Atlas, and when he saved Olympus twice. He had gained her respect. Alongside the hunters as well. Percy Jackson was the only male hero among the hunt, for everything he had done for Olympus, for people and the fact he was betrayed by a woman garnered some sympathy. And of course Thalia. She would say nothing but good words about her cousin, her best friend and brother. Artemis however was unsure how to feel about the demigod. She liked him no doubt, but there's always one part of her mind that doubts how good he really is. His fatal flaw being loyalty helped alleviate this fear, but he was a son of Poseidon. And the last son of Poseidon that Artemis knew... Well... She didn't want to think about him.

Artemis looked back at her feelings towards Orion and realised that the feelings were nothing but admiration for his abilities. She never loved him as the myths suggested,

In fact, she was so glad Orion was dead, but she was not happy that Apollo had tricked her. At that point, not only was betrayed by someone she thought she loved at the time, but also her brother. This was the turning point. This lead to Artemis becoming the true man hating goddess that she has become infamous for.

"Milady, we're here."

Artemis was brought from her thoughts when Thalia motioned towards that supposed concentration of monsters. It was... a club?

"If this wasn't a monster hideout I would actually think that this spot is sick." Thalia admired the building, before readying herself for battle.

"Hunters, we have been tasked with wiping out this high concentration of monsters. We need to get the mortals out of the way so we will be entering in as loud as possible to try and scare them away."

Artemis brought out a more explosive arrow and readied it, aiming at the door.

She released the arrow and the front door exploded. There were screams as people starting running out and the hunters began to enter the club quickly and quietly. With the space now free, Artemis suddenly felt the presence of three powerful auras and an additional 6 auras of what she presumed were minor gods.

"Hunters, beware, there are presences here I am unsure of."

They stood at the hole in the wall and aimed bows at the figures in the middle of the room. There were 7 people, there was a tall dark haired man in an expensive suit, who looked angry. And then to his left...

"Poseidon?" Artemis asked with shock, she scanned the rest of the area and saw the rest of the figures in the room.

"Young heroes?" She asked puzzled, now seriously confused. Just when Artemis thought the situation couldn't get any weirder the elevator dinged.

Everone turned to the elevator and awaited the next arrival.

Then out stepped Percy Jackson.

"What's going on in my club then?"

The hunters all gasped at the sight, and Artemis tried to remain emotionless but her face showed the surprise.

Suddenly, a hunter with a tiara on her head, rushed forward and hugged him.

"PERCY! I thought you were dead." She sobbed into his chest as he soothed his cousin.

He chucked slightly,

"I missed you too Pinecone face, but you know what Olympus did to me, I'm wasn't allowed to make contact."

They hugged for a second until Artemis coughed, uncomfortable with how long her lieutenant was spending in the arms of a man.

Percy turned towards the noise and saw Artemis stood looking mildly annoyed.

But also...

Beautiful?

No longer was she in the 12 year old form when they first met, but was now a similar age to Percy. And she looked incredible. Artemis had a natural beauty around her that you didnt see in any of the girls in Lux, or even Aphrodite for that matter. Percy shook his head, attempting to stop his upcoming blush.

Maiden goddess Percy, and dont forget what Annabeth did, you don't want to be with anyone immortal.

He thought to himself as he let go of his best friend and cousin.

Thalia pulled away but didn't let go of his arms.

"Where have you been kelp head? And what do you mean your club?"

Percy was about to answer when there was a flash of light as Athena suddenly appeared.

To begin with she only noticed Artemis.

"Sister are you okay? Father detected a massive presence of immortals at the location you were hunting and we were worried that we had another Atlas situation."

Artemis looked furious,

"What do you mean another Atlas situation I can take care of myse..."

She went silent when Athena noticed all the other people in the room. But her eyes stopped on Percy Jackson, who was stuck between a look of fear and rebelliousness.

Athena's lip curled upwards in a smirk,

"Fathers going to want to know about this."

She suddenly flashed away leaving Percy groaning, the gods all looking slightly fearful and Lucifer just burst out in laughter.

Artemis turned to Lucifer,

"Who are you? Shut up male before I make you."

She summoned a knife to exaggerate her point.

"Artemis dont..." Poseidon tried to warn.

Lucifer's eyes flashed before he smirked,

"Listen here Artemis, you will do no such thing. But there is one thing I wish to know."

Artemis was captivated by him as he walked towards her slowly, she couldn't explain it but it was like she wanted to tell him everything.

"Tell me, what do you truly desire?"

Artemis suddenly let loose a secret that she thought no one would ever hear.

"I want someone to love me willingly. I want someone who will love me, not because I am their leader, or because I'm a goddess, or I'm family. I want someone to love me because of me."

Artemis gasped and held her hand over her mouth.

Then all of a sudden, she flashed away and her hunters disappeared with her.

"Lucifer what was that for?"

Percy said angrily at his adopted father, he was upset that he couldn't say goodbye to Thalia.

"She disrespected me, and I needed her gone. Also, I need the other young minor gods to leave. I need to have a chat with Percy and Poseidon here."

They said quickly nodded after seeing what Lucifer just did to an Olympian and uttered quick goodbyes to Percy,

"Before you go, please grab Annabeth, she is crying upstairs. Make sure she goes with you."

The seven nodded at Percy wishes and headed upstairs in the elevator.

Then it left Percy and his supposed two dads.

"Firstly, sorry about doing that to Artemis, I needed her to leave. But I have a question for you Percy..."

Percy looked less annoyed but waved Lucifer on impatiently.

"Do you wish to have contact with Olympus again?"

Percy and Poseidon both looked shocked.

"My brother would never allow it, he is far too stubborn."

Lucifer smiled a devilish grin,

"If Percy here wishes, I can find a way."

He turned to Percy,

"I've seen you interact with everyone here, you've missed them a lot. I can help you get back to them."

Percy looked uneasy for a second,

These people abandoned him, but some of them were his family.

"I want to see my family, but I dont want to be their pawn."

Poseidon smiled proudly as Lucifer smirked.

"Good, no son of mine will be a pawn of Olympus."

He clapped his hands giddily while Poseidon glared at him.

"He's my son, not yours."

Lucifer waved off Poseidon's statement.

"In that case, lets head over to Olympus, Posiedon if you would flash us there I would be most grateful."

Poseidon sighed, knowing he wasnt going to beat Lucifer in that argument.

Percy looked nervous but ready, and he grabbed onto Posiedon ready to be flashed.

Lucifer linked hands with Poseidon and winked at him, garnering a groan from both him and Percy.

There was a bright flash of light, leaving Lux in a state, and the three off to Olympus.

(Artemis)

Artemis had no chance to process what had happened with that weird man at the club. she had been called to an emergency meeting on Olympus.

I guess Daddy's Little Girl Athena snitched then.

Artemis was one of the first to the throne room so she started to contemplate what the man had done.

Was being loved by someone what she wanted? Artemis knew that a lot people loved her because they had to, did anyone love her for who she is?

"Sis are you okay?"

Apollo, who Artemis hadnt noticed flash in, was looking at her concerned.

"Of course I am Apollo, why would you think different?" Artemis replied, attempting the hide the emotion from her voice.

"You're crying."

For the first time, Artemis noticed the tears on her cheeks and touched them. It wasnt often she cried. Not since Zoe had died.

She was about to reply when Zeus began shouting.

"WHERE IS POSEIDON? ATHENA TOLD ME ABOUT THE MEETING HE WAS HAVING WITH HIS SON!"

He presumed to turn towards Artemis.

Crap. She thought, preparing for a rant.

"AND WHY WERE YOU THERE ARTEMIS? YOU ARE LOYAL TO ME."

Not once to back down Artemis retorted confidently,

"I was purely there to hunt the monsters that you sent me after, it just so happened that Percy Jackson apparently owns the club called Lux."

"Wait, Percy owns Lux? But Hermes and I are there a lot, surely we would have noticed him?"

Apoolo chimed in and Hermes nodded in agreement,

"Yes, I get a lot of my information from Lux, it's a popular club in LA where people and monsters gather peacefully. They normally ask for favours from the owner, but that not Percy..."

His eyes widened,

"The owner of Lux is Luc..."

There was a bright light in the room as Poseidon appeared in his throne and two more figures stood in the middle of the room.

A lot of the Olympians were shocked to see Percy again, but Zeus was less than pleased.

"I said you were never to return to Olympus, for going against the wishes of king of the gods, you will perish."

He stood up, master bolt in hand before the tall dark figure held out his hands and shouted.

"ENOUGH!"

Everyone got hit with a wave of power and pushed back into their thrones.

"If you hurt Percy Jackson, I will send all of you down to hell and handle your torture myself."

"Who are you to boss us around?"

Zeus asked angrily, still bound to his chair.

Lucifer glared at him,

"I am Lucifer bloody Morningstar. I am the devil. I am Beezelbub. I am whatever you want to call me. But I am also Percy's father or daddy if you must, so you hurt him and you will suffer."

Percy groaned at his used of daddy but then smiled at Lucifer, knowing despite his obvious flaws. He would always stick up for him.

The gods paled at Lucifer's announcement and many were hesitant to talk.

Artemis looked especially nervous. That would explain how he goaded out her innermost desires. The devil had played his tricks on her.

The nervousness became fury, remembering who she is and what she did.

"You are not Percy's father, you are a stupid boy. Percy is nothing like you."

Wait, what did I mean by that last part? Artemis pondered briefly before seeing Lucifer smirk.

"Well I adopted him you'll see, Percy, how about you tell them your story."

Percy stepped forward nervously, it had been a long time since he had stood in front of the gods like this. The last time he had... well... he got cut off from everyone.

He cleared his throat and began to talk.

"Well it's been a while, im not going to pretend I missed all of you." Percy started, briefly looking at Ares.

"But it is true, Lucifer adopted me."

(3rd Person)

He went on to explain his journey to LA to ask Hades for his death, and his travels to Lux. He explained his past three years, including the club, hiding from the regular visitors (Name dropping Apollo and Hermes who looked embarrassed at not noticing Percy there) and also how he was found by the rest of the seven. He left out why Poseidon was there to save his father the trouble. Percy also left out some... finer details. None of the gods needed to know about some of his powers he now had, they kicked him out of Olympus for how powerful he was before, let alone now.

Lucifer took over from here,

"And that is why we are here today, Percy realised, he missed some of you people for some reason. So I have decided that you are going to lift his ban from Olympus."

Most the Olympians accepted this fact, some regretted sending the hero off and some knew it was stupid in the first place. Zeus didnt want to agree, but this super powerful being in front of him was worrying Zeus.

"Fine, as King of the gods, I put it to a vote. Should Percy be let back into the land of Olympus?"

"Oh and all who voted against him must now apologise." Lucifer said with a smirk which was matched by Percy's grin.

Zeus gritted his teeth and passed the vote.

"Almost everyone voted to allow Percy back, except for Zeus, Ares and Athena."

Why am I not surprised. Percy thought, but was extremely happy. He may be able to see his mum again Percy thought with a smile.

Zeus sighed, accepting his fate.

"Fine, welcome back to Olympus Percy Jackson."

"Aaaannnndddd..."

Percy carried on in a sarcastic sing song voice,

Zeus glared at his nephew in front of him,

"We... apologise... for your unfair treatment."

Percy nodded smirking, the past three years had been worth the look on Zeus' face when he apologised.

He was about to retort when Apollo started to convulse in his throne. His eyes snapped open, they were green.

Oh no... this isnt what I think it means is it? Percy started to panic, hoping there wouldnt be another one...

Green smoke started to come out of Apollo's mouth and swirl around his throne.

He spoke in a raspy voice.

In twilight's shadow, a son of Hell shall rise

The moon will get what she's tried so hard to disguise

Rejecting Olympus, the twice hero's path will diverge

As war of primordial forces nears its dreadful surge

Olympus will fall, Olympus will be razed.

Only with the help of the destroyer will it be saved

Well, theres the great prophecy. I was going to update the other story. But thought I'd write some more of this one while I remembered a couple plans for it. Hope you enjoy. And I received a review from Anonymously96 about why are stories hell bent on making Annabeth a dumbass. Well in my situation, I think that in the books, Percabeth was done well. I could not carry that legacy on. And plus, what im writing? It's fan fiction. I can do whatever I want really. Later on in the chapters, I'll have a situation where Annabeth explains her decision etc. But I tried to at least make her reason somewhat realistic. Anyways, hope you enjoyed. Will update one of the stories soonish hopefully.
