In the 21st century, mankind fought for the right to resources, which have left portions of earth ruined. As a result, some scientists have turned to Sakuradite as the main method of powering their devices, but Dr. Kirk proposed a clean, limitless energy, which he named Third Energy. Because of his breakthrough, many are out to steal his research, including the Black Knights.

6. Chapter 6 - Reunion and the Ambassador

Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass and Dino Crisis. If I did, the latter wouldn't have a terrible sequel set in space.

A/N: I'm terribly sorry for the nearly seven month delay, which is mostly the result of me focusing less on this story, while I spent more time on updating my Rosario + Vampire stories, and hunting for achievements on my Xbox One. I can understand you're getting impatient, but you'll probably have to wait until December, because I'm returning to college this August, and it should be my last semester. It's hard to be believe I enrolled in 2014, before I moved to another state in 2016, and I had to wait until 2018 to take my new courses, which I had to drop out of. After taking most of my other required courses, I had to remain at home from 2019-2024, because COVID-19 struck, and I ended up moving to another state in 2022. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story.

*Ibis Island, Protectorate of Borginia, Britannia, October 31st, 2017 ATB*

Ohgi, Ryo, Yukiya and Xingke stared at Nunnally, who felt uncomfortable, while Sayoko stayed closed to her side. Nunnally took a deep breath, before she uttered, "When I said I was a commoner, I wasn't lying, because my mother is a commoner, but my father was born into the upperclass."

Ryo, Yukiya and Ohgi raised a couple of brows, while Xingke continued to narrow his eyes. Sayoko kept her cool, while Nunnally continued, "When I was 6-years-old, my 9-year-old brother and I lost our mother, before we were disinterested by our father. In his own words, he had no use for a weakling like me, which infuriated my big brother, and he discarded his claim to the upperclass. As a result, I had to depend on my brother and our new friends, while we became students at Ashford Academy.

The eyes of Ohgi softened, while Yukiya and Ryo narrowed their eyes. With a stoic expression on his face, Xingke replied, "I see. You and your brother didn't have it easy, but managed to pull through. I don't know if your brother is on the island, but I promise you'll get off this island, Lady Nunnally."

Nunnally beamed, while she replied, "Thank you, Mr. Li."

Without glancing at Nunnally, Xingke smiled responded, "It's my pleasure, milady."

Xingke glanced at Yukiya, Ryo and Ohgi, while the latter sighed, "It won't hurt to help Ms. Lamperouge get off this island, but we're going to need to be very careful, because there's more of those beasts, which could be planning an ambush."

Sayoko glanced at Ohgi, while she replied, "That might be true, and there's the possibility the beast we encountered was a scout."

Yukiya, Ryo, Xingke and Ohgi glanced at Sayoko, who continued, "I believe it would be best to find a safe room, because mistress Nunnally needs to rest, and there more of those animals nearby, which could be nearby."

Xingkee glanced at Ryo, who uttered, "I can't argue with that logic."

Xingke nodded, before he directed his attention to Yukiya, who responded, "Indeed. Once we find a safe room, I might be able to hack into the local network, while digging up information on the island, and then we should be able to learn what brought these beasts here."

Xingke smiled a bit, before he replied, "Good. When we find out why the animals came here, we might be able to prevent more or them from showing up."

With a grin forming on his face, Ryo interjected, "Alright. Then what are we waiting for? Let's send those creatures back to the prehistoric age."

Sayoko and Nunnally raised a couple of brows, while the latter questioned Ryo, "What do you mean send them back to the prehistoric age? When I asked Sayoko about the animals, she said they appeared to be oversized reptiles."

Ryo glanced at Nunnally, while he answered, "They aren't reptiles, because they're dinosaurs."

Nunnally frowned, while she muttered, "Dinosaurs? I don't understand."

Ryo kept his eyes forward, while he responded, "You don't need to think about it. All you need to focus on is a safe room."

With a grimace on her face, Nunnally replied, "If you're insinuating that I think only about myself, then you clearly don't know me."

Ryo frowned, while he sighed, "No, your ladyship. I wasn't insulting you, but I was referring to a safe room being a location to gather all the civilians at."

Nunnally glanced at Ryo, while she responded, "I see. For the time being, I'll trust you to keep me safe."

Ryo and Yukiya frowned, while the latter, interjected, "You can count on us, milady."

Nunnally nodded, before Sayoko grasped the handles of her wheelchair, which the maid pushed, and her wheels moved forward. Xingke, Ohgi, Ryo and Yukiya stayed close to the duo, while they moved in the halls, which were eerily quite. Sayoko continued pushing the wheelchair forward, while Yukiya, Ryo, Ohgi and Xingke kept their eyes peeled. The group continued moving, while they passed by a male scientist, who Ohgi stopped in front of. With a concerned look on his face, Ohgi uttered, "This man needs help."

While he had a stoic expression on his face, Xingke replied, "Leave him. We don't have the time to treat him, and we're better off not bothering him."

Ohgi had an appalled expression on his face, while he responded, "What? As a knight of justice, I can't just abandon this man, regardless of how much vital information he might possess."

Xingke and the rest of the group halted, while he sighed, "We can't stop to save everyone we come across, but we might as well see what he knows."

Ohgi nodded, before he grabbed the scientist, who he lifted into the air, while his stomach bulged, and the Black Knight had a confused expression on his face. The bulge moved around, before a pair of small dinosaurs popped their heads through his clothing, which was now soaked in blood, and the animals too were covered in blood. Ohgi stared in shock, while the dinosaurs chirped, before the pushed themselves further past the clothing, and they were revealed to be compsognathuses. Ohgi froze, while the pack of tiny dinosaurs swarmed him, before they bit onto his skin and clothing. Ohgi dropped the corpse, while he tried to throw the dinosaurs off him, which clung to him, and he strangled one of them in a desperate attempt to protect himself.

Without warning, Xingke drew his sword, before he decapitated the remainder of the compies, and they dropped dead. The corpses landed on the floor, while Ohgi stared in shock, and he released the sole surviving compsognathus, which stopped biting him. The compy ran away from Ohgi and Xingke, while the latter glanced at it. Xingke redirected his attention to Ohgi, who muttered, "Thanks."

With a stoic expression on his face, Xingke replied, "Don't mention it."

The compsognathus continued running, before the foot of a raptor slammed onto it, which caused the smaller dinosaur to squirm and squeal. The raptor brought its head down toward the compsognathus, which the larger dinosaur took a bite out of, while Ohgi, Xingke, Ryo and Yukiya stared in shock at. The raptor swallowed the chunk of the dead compies' flesh, before it spotted Ohgi, Ryo, Yukiya, Xingke, Sayoko and Nunnally. The raptor hissed, before it took off sprinting at the group, which confused most of them, and seven more raptors ran from around the corner. Without hesitation, Sayoko released the wheelchair, before she grabbed ahold of Nunnally, who she lifted out of the wheelchair, and the ninja maid made a break for it.

Xingke ran in the direction of Sayoko, while Ohgi, Ryo and Yukiya followed her. The eight raptors pursued their prey, while the humans continued running in the halls, and they made a quick right turn, before they came across a dilophosaurus. Sayoko, Xingke, Ohgi, Ryo and Yukiya froze, while the former glanced at Nunnally, before the raptors came from around the corner. Sayoko, Ohgi, Xingke, Yukiya and Ryo felt trapped, while the dilophosaurus growled, before the raptors began hissing. Xingke reached for his sword, before he started coughing onto his hands, which now had blood on them, and a bit of blood leaked out of his mouth.

While Nunnally turned her head In Xingke's direction, Sayoko, Ohgi, Ryo and Yukiya stared at him. Xingke stopped coughing, while he thought, 'Damn! Of all times, why does my condition have to get in the way?'

The raptors and dilophosaurus took a few steps forward, while the group of humans stayed close together. The pack of raptors leapt into the air, while the dilophosaurus broke off into a sprint. Sayoko glanced at her surroundings for a way out out, while Xingke unsheathed his sword his sword, before he pointed his sword the dilophosaurus, and he stood their ground.

*Meanwhile in the jungle*

Lelouch and Darlton slowly climbed down the tree, while they listened to the loud breathing of the tyrannosaurus, which laid on its stomach. Lelouch touched the ground first, before he stepped back, and Darlton set foot on the ground he kept his eye on the dinosaur. The tyrannosaurus had its eyes closed, because it was asleep, which put the soldier and former royal at ease. Without saying word, Darlton and Lelouch nodded, before they quietly began walking away from the area. The rebel and soldier continued walking, while being mindful of their surroundings.

Lelouch and Darlton heard a branch snap, which startled them, while they froze. They dared not look at the tyrannosaurus, because they did not wish to gaze upon the apex predator, which did not get up from its spot, and it continued resting. Darlton and Lelouch felt relief, while they glanced at their surroundings, before spotting a wounded rebel, who had lacerations across his body. The rebel breathed heavily, while he stood on a small branch, and he grabbed his gun, which he pointed at the duo. The rebel felt his hand shake, while he attempted to squeeze the trigger, but he collapsed onto the ground, which resulted in a thud.

The soldier and former prince froze, while they heard the tyrannosaurus continued breathing loudly. The tyrannosaurus kept resting, which put Lelouch and Darlton at ease, while they continued moving away from the sleeping beast. Darlton and Lelouch stayed alert, while they kept moving forward. The general and ex prince continued walking quietly, while they exited the clearing, before they pushed some foliage out of the way. Lelouch and Darlton continued moving, while they heard a loud yawn, which caused them to halt.

Darlton and Lelouch dropped to the ground, before laying on their stomachs, while the yawning ended. The soldier and revolutionary stayed hidden, while they heard loud footsteps, which they had no doubts were the tyrannosaurus resuming its prowl. The tyrannosaurus continued walking, before stopping in front of the rebel's corpse, which it sank its jaws into, and the primordial animal tore off a chunk of flesh. Lelouch and Darlton continued laying down, while they heard the sound of bones crunching. The tyrannosaurus swallowed part of its food, before it resumed with eating the corpse.

Darlton and Lelouch continued staying out of sight, while the tyrannosaurus finished eating its meal, before it turned around. The Tyrannosaurus Rex walked away, while the revolutionary and soldier listened to its loud footsteps, which faded into the distance. Darlton and Lelouch no longer heard the apex predator, which filled them with relief, while they got up. Lelouch and Darlton dusted themselves off, before moving further into the jungle, while pushing more foliage out of the way. The soldier and revolutionary kept moving forward, while they noticed ibis birds perched on the nearby branches.

The birds remained silent, which unnerved Lelouch and Darlton, while they did their best to remain calm. Darlton and Lelouch continued to walk, while they heard the nearby bushes rustle. The revolutionary and soldier halted, while they upholstered their weapons, before they aimed their firearms at the bushes. Sweat dripped from the old soldier's forehead, while the rustling stopped, which Lelouch and Darlton didn't like. Darlton and Lelouch resumed their trek, while they spotted a raptor uphead, which they aimed their weapons at.

The soldier and former prince stopped, while they kept their fingers close to the triggers, which they prepared to squeeze. From another nearby bush, a second raptor popped out, while it hissed at Lelouch and Darlton. The former prince and soldier stared at the second raptor, while the latter uttered, "Clever beast."

Darlton aimed his assault rifle at the raptor, which pounced him, while he stumbled backwards, and he managed to keep his footing. Lelouch stared in shock, while the other raptor rushed him, and he aimed his assault rifle at it, before pulling the trigger. The bullets fired from his gun, while penetrating the raptor, which yelped, and blood oozed from its wounds. The raptor continued running towards Lelouch, who continued squeezing the trigger, while his assault rifle sprayed more bullets at the prehistoric beast, which suffered more wounds, and it halted. The raptor collapsed onto the ground, before it lost consciousness, while a pool of blood formed around its body, and Lelouch stopped pushing against the trigger.

Lelouch heard a yell of pain, while he turned to see Darlton struggling to hold the raptor back, and his right leg had a slash, which caused the former prince to freeze. The raptor pressed its foot against Darlton's right leg, before it sank its sickle toe claw into his flesh, while Darlton yelled again, and he mustered the strength to roughly fall on his stomach. As a result, the raptor yelped, while it was crushed against Darlton's weight and the ground. With the raptor's hollow bones cracked, Darlton got up, while the raptor squirmed in pain, and he sighed in relief. Darlton turned to Lelouch, who was still in a state of shock, while the general reached into his pack, before he removed a tourniquet, and he wrapped it around his right leg.

Darlton sighed in relief, while he muttered, "That's the end of that."

Lelouch and Darlton slung their assault rifles on their backs, before the royal commented, "We may have cheated death again, but we're still not safe."

Darlton nodded, before Lelouch and him stared at the raptor, which feebly squirmed its broken body. In a calm and collected tone, Lelouch continued, "We better kill this beastie, otherwise it might call for help."

Darlton nodded, before he raised his foot, which he slammed onto the raptor's head, and its skull had been crushed in the process. The raptor stopped squirming, while blood seeped from its wounds. Darlton sat his food back on the ground, before Lelouch and him walked away from the raptor's corpse. Darlton and Lelouch continued their trek in the jungle, which was still quiet. Lelouch and Darlton remained alert, while they heard running water nearby, which caught their attention.

The former prince and soldier halted, before they glanced at each other. Darlton and Lelouch nodded, before they resumed their walk, while they pushed more branches out of the way. As Lelouch and Darlton continued walking to their new destination, they walked into a clearing, which had a stream nearby. The ex prince and soldier glanced at their surroundings, while they noticed the distinct Ashford Academy female uniform hanging on a tree branch. On the same branch were a pair of white panties and a matching white bra, which were above a pair of dress shoes on the ground.

This caused Lelouch and Darlton to blush, while a naked Milly stepped into view. Darlton quickly turned around, while Lelouch covered his eyes with his left hand, and he used his right hand to undo his cape, which he held onto. With a grin on her face, Milly uttered, "Do you like what you see, Lulu?"

Lelouch tried to maintain his composure, while he answered, "Milly, please cover yourself with my cape."

Milly kept grinning, while she questioned Lelouch, "Why? Do you find me sexy?"

Lelouch growled at Milly, who was amused at him, while he answered, "I won't deny you're attractive, but being somewhat clothed will make things less awkward for us."

With the same grin on her face, Milly responded, "Alright. That's enough teasing, for now. While my clothes are drying, I might as well make myself decent."

Milly grasped the cape, which Lelouch released, while the blonde brought closer to her, and she slung it around her shoulders. Milly fastened the cape, which hung off her shoulders, while the cape partially covered her breasts, and her nipples were now out of sight. Darlton continued keeping his back turned to Milly, while Lelouch continued keeping his eyes covered, which amused the blonde, and the former prince questioned her, "How did you get separated from us?"

Milly frowned, while she answered, "It's a long story, but I'll explain. While you and Darlton had your backs turned to me, a rebel snuck up behind me, before he grabbed me. The rebel forced me to remove my gear, before he dragged me away, but a pack of raptors ambushed him, which caused me to scream."

Darlton and Lelouch frowned, while Milly continued, "After the raptors killed the rebel, one of them dragged the corpse away, while the remaining raptors in the pack turned their attention to me, and I was forced to run away. While the raptors gave chase, I spotted the river, which I jumped into, and I'm lucky the raptors didn't follow me into the river. I hid in the river, before the raptors left the area, and I resurfaced, while swam to shore. Then I wandered in the jungle, before I came across this clearing, and I removed my clothes, because I didn't need to catch hypothermia."

Lelouch frowned, while he replied, "That was brilliant on your part, but we can't stay in this jungle any longer."

With the same frown on her face, Milly responded, "I had a feeling you would say that, but I found a backpack nearby, which I can store my wet clothes in, while we resume our trek to the research facility."

Darlton smiled, while he remarked, "That is some good news, but it will be difficult walking around in only a pair of dress shoes."

Milly kept frowning, while she replied, "I know Darlton, but I might have a suggestion."

Lelouch and Darlton listened, while Milly resumed speaking, "For a bit, Lulu could carry me like a bride or he could give me a piggyback."

Lelouch blushed up a storm, while he tried to cooly responded, "It depends on whichever option you're more comfortable with, but I think it would be better for me to carry you on my back."

In response to Lelouch's words, Milly smirked, while she giggled, and she commented, "Sounds like you don't want to stare at my body, which means you would rather feel my bosom press against your back."

With the same blush on his face, Lelouch replied, "No, Milly. I would be more comfortable not looking at you, while I carry you."

Milly mock pouted, while she responded, "Very well. If you don't want to look at my goodies, we can play it that way."

Lelouch didn't say a word, while Milly turned around, before she approached the branch her uniform was hanging on, and she walked past it. Milly haltered in front of a bush, which she bent over in front of, while grasping a backpack, and she lifted it off the ground. Milly stood up straight, before she turned around. Milly made her way over to her clothes, which she halted in front of, before she grasped her shirt, and she opened the backpack. Milly shoved the shirt into the backpack, before she grasped her undershirt, which she placed in the backpack, and she reached for her skirt.

Milly sat her skirt in the backpack, before she grabbed her bra, which she shoved into the backpack, and she grasped her panties. Milly shoved her panties into the backpack, before she reached for her socks, which she grasped, and she shoved her underwear into the backpack. Milly reached for the tie, which she grabbed, before she shoved it into the backpack, and ent proceeded to shut the backpack. Milly slung the backpack over her shoulders, before she slid her arms through the loops, and she carried the backpack, while she reached for her shoes. Milly grasped her shoes, which she slid on, before she approached Darlton and Lelouch.

Milly stopped in front of Lelouch, who turned around, before he removed his left hand from his eyes, while he knelt close to the ground, and he outstretched his arms. Milly bent over close to Lelouch, whose neck she wrapped her arms around, before Lelouch grasped Milly's legs, and he stood back up, while her legs dangled in the air. Lelouch glanced at Darlton, who walked forward, while Lelouch stayed behind him. Milly, Lelouch and Darlton kept their eyes forward, while they heard nothing in the jungle, which didn't sit well with them. Darlton and Lelouch continued walking, while they heard a loud roar in the distance, before they froze.

While Darlton and Lelouch kept their cool, Milly felt the color drain from her face. The birds squawked, they flew away from the trees, which Lelouch, Milly and Darlton knew didn't bode well for them. Without hesitation, Lelouch and Darlton ran back into the foliage, while Milly held onto tighter to the former. Darlton and Lelouch ran as fast as they could, while they heard loud thumps behind them, which were accompanied by the sounds of branches breaking. Milly glanced over her shoulder, while the tyrannosaurus came into view, which caused her eyes to widen, and she uttered, "I hate to be a backseat driver, but run faster."

As Lelouch and Darlton kept their eyes forward, they continued running, while the former replied, "Sorry to disappoint you, but this is my top speed."

The tyrannosaurus pursued Darlton, Milly and Lelouch, while they continued running. Each footstep of the tyrannosaurus was thunderous, while the beast opened its mouth, before it lunged at Darlton, Lelouch and Milly. Darlton and Lelouch moved out of the way, while the tyrannosaurus snapped its jaws, before it growled. The tyrannosaurus continued chasing Milly, Lelouch and Darlton, while the humans spotted another dinosaur up ahead, which the T-Rex also noticed. The dinosaur was ten feet tall and thirty feet long, while it weighed in at twenty-six thousand pounds.

The dinosaur also had three horns, a beak and frill, which gave it a bit of flair. The dinosaur was a triceratops, which was searching for vegetation to eat, before it halted. The triceratops spotted Lelouch, Milly, Darlton, and the tyrannosaurus, before the herbivorous dinosaur turned to face the carnivorous dinosaur. The tyrannosaurus too halted, while the triceratops andT-Rex stared each other down. Lelouch and Darlton stopped, while Milly glanced at the two dinosaurs, which glared at each other.

The tyrannosaurus roared, while the triceratops bellowed, before they charged at each other, and the trio moved out of the way. The triceratops and tyrannosaurus halted next to each other, while the carnivore lunged at the herbivore, which moved back. The tyrannosaurus missed its mark, while the triceratops continued backing up, before the herbivore stopped stopped, and it the shorter beast charged at the predator. The tyrannosaurus stood its ground, while the triceratops continued charging, and the prey craned its neck, before the horns came close to the predator's legs. The tyrannosaurus stepped out of the way, before the predator snapped its jaws at its prey, which the triceratops wasn't able to dodge, and the tyrannosaurus bit into the frill of the herbivore.

The triceratops struggled to break, while the tyrannosaurus shook its head, which tore off a piece of the frill, and the triceratops bellowed in pain. While blood seeped from the herbivore's wound, the tyrannosaurus had a chunk of flesh and bone in its mouth, which had blood dipping from it. The tyrannosaurus swallowed its food, while the triceratops backed up a bit, before rearing its head, and the shorter beast thrusted its horns against the left legs of the predator. The tyrannosaurus roared in pain, while blood began seeping from its wound, and the taller carnivore directed its attention to the triceratops, before the predator stepped back. While the two titans were preparing for another attack, Lelouch and Darlton used the opportunity to sneak away, which the dinosaurs didn't seem to notice.

With the dinosaurs out of sight, Milly sighed in relief, "Oh, thank goodness. For a moment, I thought we would have ended up as dinosaur chow."

With a stoic expression on his face, Lelouch responded, "It could have been worse, Milly. For example: We could have been flattened by either of those titanic beasts, or gored by the triceratops' horns."

In response to Lelouch's words, Milly felt the color from her face, while Darlton frowned, and the general remarked, "If that brachiosaurs has the disposition of a cow, then the triceratops most likely has the temperament of a bull or rhinoceros, which makes us lucky to escape such a nasty encounter."

Milly trembled, while she replied, "Let's just get back to the facility."

Darlton and Lelouch didn't say a word, while they continued their trek in the jungle, which was still silent. While Milly held onto Lelouch, she glanced over her shoulder again, before she looked forward, and she tried to maintain her composure. As Lelouch and Darlton continued walking, the former thought, 'When we return to the facility, I'll see to it that I geass Gail into spilling his guts.'

*At the same time with Leila*

Tom rested in the large size elevator room, while Leila approached the other door, which slid open, and she walked past some lockers. Leila halted in front of another door, which she opened, before she set foot in the passageway to the power room, and she shut the door behind her. Leila spotted spotted a turbine and three shadows moving across the ground, before she looked up. Leila saw a couple of airborne pteranodons, which noticed her. Without hesitation, Leila sprinted forward, while the pteranodons screeched, and she turned right.

Leila ran alongside the edge of a cliff, while she turned right again, before taking a left turn, and she continued sprinting. The pteranodons dove toward Leila, who jumped out of the way, before they flew upwards, while she back got up, and she resumed with running away. Leila made another left turn, while the pteranodons dove towards her again, but she made a right turn, before the prehistoric flying reptiles ascended. Leila quickly approached a door, which she opened, before she set foot inside of the elevator power room, and she shut the door behind her. Leila stood an a platform, while she looked down, and she glanced at a nearby ladder, which she grabbed onto.

Leila started descending the ladder, while she didn't look down, and her feet touched the ground, before she released the ladder. Leila noticed a shelf, which didn't have anything of interest, but she spotted a card on the ground, while she raised a brow. Leila approached the shelf, which she halted in front of, before she grasped the card, and she inspected it. With a neutral expression on her face, Leila commented, "This must be the B1 Crane Card. If I had do guess, it's used whenever the staff are transporting chemical materials."

Leila opened her pack, which she inserted the card into, before she shut her pack, and she turned around. Leila directed her attention to the six control panels, which had green, red and blue buttons. Leila looked up, while she saw six pipes, which consisted of two curved halves of a red pipe, two straight halves of a green pipe, and two curved halves of a blue pipe. Leila also noticed a six pair of circular tunnels on the walls, in addition to a generator. Leila redirected her attention to the six panels, which she approached, before she stopped in front of them, and she pushed a red button.

Half of the curved red pipe was lowered, before it connected to one of the six tunnels. Leila turned to her right, before she quickly moved over to the next terminal, and she pushed a green button, which lowered one half of the straight green pipe. The pipe connected to another tunnel, while it laid over the curved end of the red pipe, and Leila turned to her right again, before she ran forward. Leila stopped at the third terminal, before she pressed a blue button, which lowered one half of the curved blue pipe, and the curved end sat above the green pipe. Leila turned around, before she ran to the adjacent terminal, which she had halted in front of, and she pushed the red button.

The other half of the curved red pipe lowered, before it connected to both the tunnel and curved end of the first red pipe. Leila turned to her right yet again, before she ran to the next terminal, which she had halted in front of, and she pushed the green button. The other half of the straight green pipe lowered, before it connected to both the tunnel and first half of the green pipe, while it laid over the curved end of the red pipe. Leila turned right once more, before she swiftly moved to the last terminal, which she halted in front of, and she pushed the pushed a blue button. The other half of the curved blue pipe was lowered, before it connected to both the tunnel and first half of the blue pipe, while the curved end was now above the green pipe.

Four red lights on the generator turned on, while the generator started humming, and Leila ran towards the ladder, which she started ascending. Leila finished climbing the ladder, before she set foot on the platform, and she turned her attention to the door, which she opened. Leila reentered the passageway to the power room, before she shut the door behind her, while she walked forward, but she felt an impact from behind. Leila fell forward, while she felt a bit dazed, and a pteranodon descended, before grabbing onto her shoulders. The pteranodon lifted Leila into the air, before it began flying in the direction of a turbine, which caused Leila's eyes to widen, and she thought, 'I cannot die like this.'

Leila reached into her suit, before removing a small knife, which she jabbed the right leg of the pteranodon, and it screeched in pain. The pteranodon released Leila, who safely landed onto the ground, before she glanced at the pteranodon, which flew into the turbine, and it's body was quickly mangled. While blood splattered around the turbine, Leila sighed in relief, before she spotted the other two pteranodon flying nearby, and she made a break for it. The pteranodons dove towards Leila, who dodged, while running alongside the turbine, before she came across the other door, and she opened it. Leila quickly entered the large size elevator control room, before she immediately closed the door, and she moved past the lockers, while she approached the automatic door.

Leila came to a halt, before the door slid open, and she set foot inside of the room, while she noticed Tom was still resting. Leila walked close to the wall, which she approached the second door, which she opened, and she exited the large size elevator control room. Leila shut the door, before she ran over the large elevator, and she stopped in front of a control panel. Leila pushed a button, before a blue screen lit up, and she pushed a few more buttons, which caused the large elevator to start descending. Leila stepped away from the control panel, while the large elevator continued moving, and she glanced at her surroundings, before the elevator came to a halt.

Leila stared at a large door, which raised, while revealing the Carrying Out Room B1, and Leila noticed three large metal containers. Leila also noticed a ladder and crane, before she set foot into the large room, while the large door lowered. With a neutral expression adorning her face, Leila muttered, "I could use the crane to move those large containers out of the way. It's a good thing I grabbed the key card from earlier."

Leila walked over to the ladder, which she halted in front of, before she grabbed ahold of it, and she started ascending it. Leila finished climbing the ladder, before she pulled herself onto a platform, which she stood atop, and she saw the other five large metal containers. Leila ran forward, before she stopped in front of a control panel, which had a green light, red light and slot for the keycard. Leila opened her pack, which she drove her hand into, before she dug inside of her pouch, and she stopped. Leila removed the keycard from it, before inserting the keycard into the slot, which turned on a blue screen, and she saw the six crates onscreen.

Leila also noticed six keys, which consisted of up, down, left, right, hook and release. Leila studied the screen carefully, before she pushed the hook button, which the crane to start descending, and it grabbed onto a large metal container. The container was lifted into the air, before the crane stopped. Leila then pushed left, up, release, down and hook buttons, which caused the crane to move to the left, before it moved forward. The crane was lowered, which sat the container in between two containers, before the crane moved down, and the crane halted.

The crane lowered again, before it grabbed onto the third container, which lifted it off the ground, and Leila now saw there was a route to the other side of the room. The crane moved diagonally back to where it was at first, before it stopped, while Leila smiled, and she commented, "With that obstacle removed, I'll reach Dr. Kirk soon."

Leila moved away from the crane, while she approached the ladder, which she ascended, and she set foot on the ground. Leila ran towards the open route, while she ran past a couple of containers, before she turned right, and then she ran forward again. Leila turned left, before she ran forward yet again, and she made another left turn, which she followed up with sprinting forward once more. Leila turned right again, before she ran forward once again, but she came to a halt, because she saw a door up ahead. Leila resumed with walking forward, while she noticed a bloody corpse, which caused her to frown, but she approached the bloodstained body.

Leila also noticed a set of double doors and a pair of darts, which she ignored. Leila halted in front of the corpse, which was missing its limbs. Leila knelt before the corpse, while she noticed the had a piece of paper, which caused her eyes to narrow, and she uttered, "There's a memo on this corpse."

Leila stared at the memo, which she began reading, ""Today's to do" Prepare the DDKs needed to enter the laboratory area. Tomorrow I have to go to the computer room to do maintenance on Dr. Kirk's computer. But, I think I left a DDK at the large size elevator control room when I went there yesterday to do the elevator maintenance. I'll have to check it later today. As for the other DDK, I think the rookie Tom, who was recently assigned to the Laboratory Area, has it. I'll have to borrow it from him. I have no idea how that jerk approached Dr. Kirk, but he seems to have gained his complete trust. It's weird how nobody knows his past history…"

Leila frowned, while she sighed, "It seems I'm going to have to turn back."

Leila got up, before she turned around. Leila ran through the space between the containers, before she quickly made her way over the elevator, which she halted in front of, and she pushed a button on the wall. The elevator door slid open, before Leila entered the elevator, and the elevator door slid down, while she approached the control terminal. Leila halted in front of the control terminal, before she pushed a button, which caused the elevator to start ascending, and she remained patient. The elevator halted, before Leila was greeted to the sight of the ground floor.

Leila approached the door to large size elevator control room, before she stopped, and she grasped the door handle, which she turned. Leila pulled the door open, before she entered the large size elevator control room, which she entered, and she shut the door behind her. Leila noticed Tom was still resting, which caused her to smile a bit, while she carefully approached the controls, and she halted in front of them. Leila's eyes darted across the controls, before she spotted the DDK Code Disc L, which she grasped, and she reached for her packet. Leila opened her pack, which she inserted the DDK into, before she closed her packet, and she turned around to face Tom.

Leila approached Tom, who she halted and knelt in front of, before she carefully pressed her hands against his clothing. Leila moved her hands, while feeling for anything out of the ordinary, and she felt a concealed firearm, which she mentally commented on, 'I have a pistol on hand, so I should just leave Tom with his weapon.'

Leila continued her pat-down, before she felt something less durable, which caught her attention, and she reached into his pocket. Leila removed the other DDK Code Disc L, before she reopened her pack, which she inserted the DDK into, and she shut her pack. Leila got up, before she stealthily approached the door, which she opened, and she set foot outside. Leila closed the door, before she approached the control, which she halted in front of, and she pressed the button. The elevator started descending, while Leila waited, and the elevator came to a halt, before the door raised open.

Leila entered the Carrying Out Room B1, before she ran over the open space between the containers, which she sprinted between, and the door came into view. Leila ran past the containers, before she turns right, and she continues running, while she eyes the set of double doors. Leila halts, before she grabs onto a handle of the double doors, which she turned, and she opened the door. Leila was greeted to the sight of the Hallway for Carrying in Materials, which she set foot inside of, before she shut the door behind her, and she ran forward. Leila sprinted towards a door, which she halted in front of, before she grasped the handle, and she turned it.

Leila entered the B1 Hall, before she closed the door behind her, and she turned right, before walking forward. Leila moved past a metal shutter, before she took a left turn, and she walked forward. Leila turned left again, before she halted in front of another door, which she opened, and she entered the Medical Room Hallway. Leila shut the door, while she saw a dead raptor, which was being scavenged by compsognathuses, and she kept her cool. Leila quietly walked forward, while she was careful to not alert the chicken sized dinosaurs, which continued to feast on their meal, and she took a right turn.

Leila walked forward, while the compies stopped eating, and they glanced at her, before they resumed with eating their meal. Leila halted, before she stared at a door to her left, and she grasped the handle, which she turned. Leila entered the medical room, before she shut the door behind her, and she proceeded to walk forward, while she approached a doorway to her right. Leila walked through the doorway, before she came to a halt, because she saw two Britannian civilians, who wore the Ashford Academy male uniform and Ashford Academy female uniform. The girl, light skin, yellowish-green eyes and long, orange hair, while she was 17-years-old.

As for her height, the girl was 5'9. When it came to the appearance of the boy, he had somewhat tanned skin, grey eyes and short and short, spiky, blue hair. As for the height of the boy, he was 5'5. The girl stood by a makeshift bed, which the boy laid on, because he had a wound on his right leg, and she noticed Leila standing close to the doorway. The girl remained on guard, which Leila ignored, while she heard the boy groan, and the girl questioned her, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Leila stared at the girl, while the European answered the question of the carrotop, "My name is Leila Malcal, and I'm here on a mission for the EU. What is your name?"

With a frown on her face, the girl answered the question of Leila, "I see. I'm Shirley Fenette. The boy next to me is a classmate of mine, and his name is Rivalz Cardemonde."

Leila had a neutral expression on her face, while she responded, "Now that we introduced ourselves, I have some questions for you to answer. Are you civilians? If you are civilians, why are you in a research facility? Do you know where these dinosaurs came from? How was your classmate wounded? Where I can I find Dr. Kirk?"

Shirley tried to maintain her composure, while she answered, "Yes, Rivalz and I are civilians. We're here at the Ibis Island Research Facility, because Earl Asplund pulled some strings to allow the Ashford Academy Student Council a tour of the place. As we for the sudden appearance of the dinosaurs, we don't know where the dinosaurs came from. While Rivalz and I were trying to find a safe location to hide in, we came across a raptor, which slashed him. About the location of Dr. Kirk, I'm uncertain, especially since it's a large facility, but my best guess is he's probably inside of his lab."

Leila frowned, while she replied, "I see. If you want, I could help you by tending to your peer's wounds."

Shirley kept frowning, while she responded, "That is awfully tempting, but that won't be necessary. Because I dressed his wounds earlier, he's fine, but he'll need surgery soon, otherwise he might have his leg will be amputated."

With the same frown on her face, Leila remarked, "Your friend is in a grave situation, especially if the only surgeons on this island were killed. If you want, I could go floor for a surviving surgeon."

Shirley's had a puzzled expression, while she questioned Leila, "Despite the fact we're from Britannia, why would you'd help us?"

Leila kept her cool, while she answered, "Yes. I don't care if you're Britannians, because you're still civilians."

Shirley smiled, while she expressed her gratitude, "Thank you, Ms. Malcal."

Leila too smiled, while she replied, "You're welcome, Ms. Fenette."

Leila turned around, before she walked through the doorway, and she halted in front of the desk, because she noticed a memo on it. Leila grasped the memo, which she silently read, "Dr. Sherwood: The ID card on the desk belongs to one of my patients. Please hand it to Colonel Clay when he shows up. He told me that he was going to hold a meeting in the Strategy Room on the 1st floor to make preparations for tonight's experiment. Please make sure to hand the card to him since one is required to enter the Strategy Room."

Leila released the memo, before she turned her attention ID card, which was right next to the memo, and she grasped the card. Leila opened her pack, which she inserted the ID card into, before she shut her packet, and she turned around. Leila approached the door, which she halted in front of, and she grasped the doorknob, before twisting it. Leila opened the door, before she returned to the Medical Room Hallway. Leila turned left, before she walked forward, and she turned right again, while she noticed a bloodstain.

Leila frowned, while she kept moving forward, and she walked alongside a blood trail, which stopped at the wall. Leila turned left yet again, before she ascended a flight of stairs, and she stopped at the Control Room Hall, where she saw shutters blocking her way. With the same frown on her face, Leila cursed, "Damn. I need to go back the way I came."

Leila marched towards the stairs, which she descended, before she took a right turn in the Medical Room Hallway, and she moved forward. Leila turned right again, while she noticed the compies were still eating their meal, which encouraged her to remain cautious, and she kept walking forward. Leila took a left turn, while the compsognathuses stopped to stare at her again, before the small dinosaurs resumed with eating the corpse of the raptor, and she approached the door. Leila halted in front of the door, which she opened, before she entered the B1 Hall, and she shut the door behind her. Leila turned left, before she walked forward, and she approached the shutter, which she halted in front of.

On the other side of the shutter, Leila saw a couple of elevators on the wall to her right, and a door her left, which the DDK security system on it. Leila directed her attention to the nearby switch, which had a red light on it, and she moved closer to it, before she stopped. Leila halted, before she pressed a button, which she expected to do something, but nothing occurred. Out of frustration Leila sighed, "Seems like I'll have to find another way to get to that door."

*Elsewhere at the Main Entrance*

Close to the stairs, Cornelia and Regina stood, while they faced Marrybell. In front of the door with the DDK security system were Oldrin, Kallen and Guilford, while they carefully studied it. Akito, Ayano and Tamaki were close the large double doors, which they stared outside, because they were on lookout duty. With a frown on her face, Cornelia uttered, "This mission has already gone south, but I can't leave, because I have my orders, and I'm not abandoning my men."

Marrybell frowned, while she responded, "I can understand the feeling. With the exception of Lady Enneagram, I too am worried about Leonhardt, Johann, Sokkia and Tink. As a commander, I have to be careful with every choice I make, which have the potential to cause the deaths of my subordinates and the civilians under my care."

Cornelia frowned, while Marrybell continued speaking, "When I wiped out a terrorist cell, I made sure to separate the terrorists from the civilians, before I massacred the former, and I don't feel any guilt for slaughtering them like cattle."

Cornelia averted her gaze, while she replied, "Just like Lady Marianne, Lady Flora and your sister Julia were assassinated in their own villa, which makes me feel ashamed as a former royal guard commander. I was charged with protecting Lelouch and Nunnally's mother, who died under my watch, which still haunts me. As horrible as that incident is, I regret not stopping Lelouch from seeking an audience with the emperor even more, because I could have prevented that, but I was too caught up in my own grief to see the pain he was experiencing. I feel like a failure of a sibling, and Lelouch has every right to blame me for his mother's death."

In response to Cornelia's words, Marrybell tightened her fists, while she maintained her composure, and the younger princess responded, "Don't talk like that. I know you blame yourself for what happened to Lady Marianne, but you need to stay strong for the sake of those you love."

Cornelia redirected her attention to Marrybell, before the younger princess kept speaking, "Because I know what Lelouch is going through, I can't judge him for raising the banner of rebellion, which makes me feel more sorry for him, and I'm prepared to do whatever it takes to save him from being swallowed by his own hatred."

With the same frown on her face, Cornelia replied, "I wish I had the strength to protect Lelouch too, but doing so put a target on Euphemia's back, which is something I cannot afford, because his majesty is ruthless."

Marrybell opened her mouth to say something, but Tamaki cut them off, "Oi, Brits! Sorry to interrupt your mushiness, but there's a group of people approaching the building."

Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen, Marrybell, Oldrin and Regina directed their attention to the large, double, bulletproof glass doors, which they looked past. Akito and Ayano narrowed their eyes, while Tamaki tightened his grip on his submachine gun. Guilford unslung his assault rifle from his shoulders, while Regina pulled out her pistol, before Cornelia unholstered her rifle sword, and Marrybell unholstered her pistol. Oldrin unsheathed her sword, while Kallen upholster her pistol, and the two groups stared outside, while they saw three figures. As the figures got closer, the Cornelia's group, Marrybell and Oldrin recognized the three individuals from Lelouch's group, which filled them with relief.

Ayano and Tamaki raised a couple of brows, while Akito had a stoic expression on his face. Lelouch and Darlton stopped in front of the large double doors, which slid open, before the duo walked in with the former still carrying Milly on his back. Lelouch knelt, before he released Milly, whose feet touched the ground. Milly got off Lelouch, before she backed up, while using her cape to cover her assets and nether region. Lelouch got back up, while he noticed Guilford had turned around, before he directed his attention to his sisters and Oldrin, who were keeping themselves composed.

Blood trickled out of Tamaki's nose, while Ayano gawked, and Akito turned around, which Milly smirked at. Regina raised a brow, while Kallen blushed. Lelouch approached Cornelia and Marrybell, before he came to a halt, because the younger of the two princesses glomped him. Lelouch halted, while Marrybell spoke, "I'm so happy to see you're okay, Lulu. Did you find Cooper? How did the search for his communications equipment go?"

With a stoic expression on his face, Lelouch answered, "I apologize for worrying you, Marry. We did find Cooper, whose upper half was eaten by the tyrannosaurus."

In response to the news of Cooper, the eyes of Cornelia, Marrybell, Guilford and Oldrin widened, while Regina felt her breath slow down. Akito had a neutral expression on his face, while Ayano, Kallen and Tamaki tightened their grips on their weapons. Marrybell released Lelouch, before she backed away, while Lelouch glanced at everyone else, and Cornelia, and the older princess uttered, "I see. Please continue."

Lelouch kept his cool, while he resumed with talking, "As for our search for the communications equipment, we found it close to Cooper's corpse, but it was destroyed by Gail, who stabbed us in the back, because he got greedy."

Cornelia, Guilford, Marrybell, Oldrin and Regina trembled, while Darlton clenched his fists, before he spoke up, "Prince Lelouch is speaking the truth. Gail brought rebels from Area Three, Area Six or Area Eight to the island, because they plan to steal the data on Third Energy, which he doubt plans to sell to the highest bidder."

Cornelia, Guilford, Marrybell and Oldrin tightened their grip on their weapons, while Regina was reeling from the shocking revelation. Regina glanced at her communicator, before she spoke, "Rick, did you get that?"

From his end of the call, Rick answered, "Yeah, I heard it, Regina, and I don't like it. Gail isn't the type of person to betray others, because he's by the book, and he puts the mission over his comrades' safety, which makes me question if really knew him. I'll admit we had our differences, but we worked together to accomplish our missions at the end of the day."

With a frown on her face, Regina responded, "Agreed. As much I would prefer to interrogate him myself, we have to make sure Dr. Kirk and the Third Energy remain safe."

On his end of the call, Rick replied, "You're right. In the meantime, I'll focus on opening up more routes in the facility. Over and out."

Regina heard her communicator turn off, before she glanced at Lelouch, who uttered, "Everyone else present should Milly, Darlton and I found six more corpses. While six out of seven of the corpses are the result of the tyrannosaurus' rampage, one of the humans was killed by his own grenade."

Akito, Ayano, Cornelia, Guilford, Kallen, Marrybell, Regina, Oldrin and Tamaki listened, while Lelouch kept talking, "There were three Britannians, one Japanese, a European with Japanese ancestry, a Chinese and an Arab. According to the dog tags, their names are Aoyama, Dewey, Frost and Joo Dee."

In response to the news, the eyes of Cornelia, Guilford, Marrybell and Oldrin widened. Cornelia clenched her free fist, before she began thinking, 'If I ever find that overgrown lizard, I'll make a leather wallet of it.'

Guilford glared at the large doorway, while he muttered, "That's no way for a soldier to die. You'll be missed, Sergeant Dewey."

Marrybell kept her composure, while she whispered, "I swear I'll kill every last one of those beasts."

Oldrin trembled, while she started thinking, 'Private Frost, I'm sorry we weren't there for you. Your death won't be in vain.'

Lelouch glanced at the six soldiers, while he noticed Ayano and Akito were clenching their fists. Lelouch's eyes darted towards Kallen, Regina and Tamaki, while the latter raised his voice, "Oi, Zero, or whatever your name is! What about the Japanese? Was he or she with the Black Knights?"

With a stoic expression on his face, Lelouch answered, "Kallen. Tamaki. You're not going to like this, but I suggest you brace yourselves."

Kallen and Tamaki listened, while Lelouch continued speaking, "The Japanese was indeed a core member of the Black Knights, and it was Toru."

In response to Lelouch's words, Tamaki and Kallen stepped back, while their expressions were etched in shock. Lelouch stared at Tamaki, whose eyes were now filled with anger, while he kicked a nearby can, which knocked it across the room, and he yelled, "Damn it!

Toru didn't deserve that. Why did this happen to him?"

Kallen balled up her free fist, while she raised her voice, "First nii-sama, then Nagata dies to the Britannians. Now Toru has met his end, but to a beast."

Lelouch kept his cool, while he directed his attention to Darlton, who he motioned to, which the man caught onto, and the burly man reached into his pockets. Darlton removed the dog tags from his pockets, before he threw one to Cornelia, who caught it, before she noticed the name Dewey was inscribed into the dog tag, which caused her eyes to narrow, and Darlton threw a third dog tag at Marrybell. Upon seeing the name Frost was inscribed into the dog tag, Marrybell trembled, while Darlton tossed a fourth dog to Regina, who caught it, and she noticed the name Cooper was inscribed into the dog tag. Regina tried to maintain her composure, before she pocketed the dog tog, while Marrybell, Cornelia and Ayano pocketed their respective dog tags, before they directed their attention to Lelouch, who the older princess approached. Lelouch had a stoic expression on his face, while Cornelia grabbed ahold of him, before pulling him into a hug, and his eyes widened.

Cornelia tightened her grip on Lelouch, while she trembled, before she released him, and her eyes darted across him. With a frown on her face, Cornelia commented, "You don't seem to be hurt, which means you're in good health. Then again, your lean figure indicates you need to eat more. When we get off this infernal island, I'm putting you on a strict diet."

Lelouch maintained his composure, while Akito, Ayano and Tamaki raised a couple of brows. Darlton and Milly had amused expressions, while Kallen didn't know why, but she smiled a bit. Regina smirked, while Marrybell and Oldrin giggled. As for Guilford, he sighed, before Lelouch cleared his throat, "I'll admit I appreciate your concern, Cornelia, but we have more pressing matters to deal with."

Cornelia narrowed her eyes, before she sighed, "You're right, Lelouch. We need to proceed further into the facility, and there are still locked rooms. Luckily for us, I have two of the DDK discs needed to access the Chief's Room on the the second floor are. After we open that door, we should gain access to whatever key is inside of that room."

With a stoic expression on his face, Lelouch responded, "Agreed. You should hand the DDK discs to me."

Cornelia frowned, while she questioned her brother, "Why should I hand them over to you?"

Lelouch stood his ground, while he answered, "According to the map, the Chief's Room has only one door, which means it's very unlikely any dinosaurs got into the room, and it's there might be a survivor I can negotiate with."

Cornelia kept frowning, while she sighed, "Very well. When typing in the code, never type in the letters listed under key."

With the same stoic expression, Lelouch replied, "Understood."

Cornelia reached into one of her pockets, before she removed the DDK discs that had the letter H inscribed into them. Cornelia handed the discs to Lelouch, who accepted the discs, before he opened his pack, which he placed the DDK discs into, and he shut his packet. With a concerned expression, Cornelia said, "Please be careful."

Instead of saying in response, Lelouch nodded, before he directed his attention to Milly and Darlton. In a cooly manner, Lelouch uttered, "I'm going to the Chief's Room alone. Until then, I recommend you look for anything out of the ordinary in the lounge."

Darlton too nodded, before Milly responded, "I understand."

Lelouch approached the stairs, while Darlton and Milly followed him. Lelouch, Milly and Darlton ascended the first part of the stairs, before they turned left, which they followed up with ascending the other portion of the stairs. Then Darlton, Milly and Lelouch turned right, while they moved alongside the railing, before they made their way over to the door. Lelouch, Darlton and Milly halted in front of the door, which the former opened, before the latter two entered the 2F hall. Lelouch followed Milly and Darlton inside, before he shut the door behind him, while he watched them approach the lounge door.

Lelouch made his way over to the door, which he halted in front of, before he pulled out the two DDK discs, which he slid through the card reader, and the screen lit up. Lelouch saw the letters: H, B, C, E, F, A, G, D and I listed under the code section, before he stared at the key section. Lelouch saw the letters: B, C, F, G and I, before he muttered, "I have to admit it's clever enough to fool an imbecile, but not clever enough to keep me out."

Lelouch directed his attention to the keypad, before he pushed the letters: H, E, A and D, which he followed up with pushing the enter key. The DDK security system blinked, immediately before Lelouch heard the door unlock, which pleased him. Lelouch grabbed onto the doorknob, which he twisted, before he pulled the door open, and he saw three survivors inside. Among the three survivors were a male scientist, Kaguya Sumeragi and a girl in regal Chinese clothing. In terms of appearance, Kaguya had green eyes, fair skin and long black hair, which she kept tied up in two ponytails.

In addition to being 14-years-old, Kaguya stood at 5'1". As for her attire, Kaguya adorned a pinkish blouse with detached sleeves, a red miniskirt, long white socks and brown dress shoes. When it came to the other girl, she was 13-year-old. The girl also had pale skin, crimson eyes and long white hair, which she had in an elaborate style befitting a member of a royal or imperial family from Asia. Lelouch entered the room, while shutting the door behind him, before Kaguya, the girl and scientist directed their attention to him.

The girl hid behind Kaguya, who stared into the eyes of Lelouch, before the eyes of the Japanese girl widened, while the older girl felt her breathing slow down, and the black haired girl uttered, "Lelouch? You're Zero-sama?"

With a stoic expression, Lelouch answered, "Yes, Kaguya-san. I Lelouch vi Britannia am Zero."

Kaguya, the girl and scientist processed this information, before the former squeed, "Lulu."

Without warning, Kaguya leapt forward, before she glomped Lelouch, who stood his ground, and she squeed again, "I'm so happy to see you're alive. After Japan was invaded, I had prayed for your survival, which seems to have paid off, and I'm beginning to understand why Kirihara-san trusted you."

Lelouch kept his eyes on Kaguya, while he cooly replied, "Indeed. I won't deny the seed of vengeance has grown, which shall spell doom for Britannia. Once I've liberated Japan, the Black Knights will help me with my goal of obliterating Britannia."

Kaguya nodded, before she released Lelouch, who directed his attention to the other girl, while she flinched, and he calmly questioned her, "Who are you?"

With a confused expression, the girl nervously answered, "Jiang Lihua. I'm an ambassador from the Chinese Federation."

In response to Lihua's words, Lelouch frowned, while he studied her, and he remarked, "That lie might fool the average person, but your clothing is too regal for an ambassador. Again, who are you, Ms. Jiang?"

A/N: That certainly was a pain to write, and I'm disappointed it took me this long to update it, which is inexcusable, especially since I was making progress on posting monthly updates last year.
