Tai Lung walked to the Jade palace to find Shifu while Lien does her meditating out their cave. He looked through the buildings and found him in the main temple lighting the candles of Oogway's shrine. "Shifu, can i have a word with you?" Said Tai Lung. "Of course. What is it?" Said Shifu setting the burning stick down after blowing out the flame. "I wanted to ask about how was it raising Tai Lung. I know you found him as cub but needed to know how you felt about it." Said Tai Lung. "You're here for parenting advice. Well to me. When i found him was in shock because i never had imagine this would happen. I didnt know much about raising a child only teaching." Said Shifu gesturing the empty pillow next to him. Tai Lung went over and sat down to face him as he listened. "My instincts simply told me what i needed to give him as any parent would. Its like a seed that needs to be guided to the right direction." Said Shifu smiling but frowned. "Which i should've done with Tai Lung." He says. "If he was here then he'd forgive himself and to you. I know he still sees you as a father than a master." Said Tai Lung. "I doubt he ever do that. I did nothing but push to hard over the years even when Lien came to the picture." Said Shifu. "Lien knows him all to well and is willing to give you another chance." Said Tai Lung. "Yeah. But theres nothing to be done for me. Im retired and i know wont be hearing from my son until i die." Said Shifu then his ear twitched to a sound and turned his head.
Tai Lung turned his head as well and got up to see the source. He looked around and heard Lien scream. "Lien!" Said Tai Lung rushing down to the hill with Shifu following. They made it in to see Lien breathing heavily looking at the bamboo forest. "What happened?" Said Shifu as the five came in hurry. Tai Lung looked at the direction that Lien was staring at and went forward to find anything. "I was meditating and felt that i wasn't alone. I ignored it thinking it may have been Raaz checking on me but when i opened my eyes. I saw a dark figure of a samurai making eye contact with me and rushed at my direction. I screamed as it was far too quick and he just vanished like smoke." Lien explains while keeping her breathing calm. "Strange. You sure haven't been asleep while it was happening." Said Shifu as the others were listening. "No. I was completely awake when it happened. I still feel something is wrong." Said Lien. "Relax. We dont let anything to happen. Especially with your condition." Said Shifu. "Condition?" Said Tigress looking at her. "Im pregnant." Said Lien. "What? Congratulations." Said Crane as the others looked happy for her. Tai Lung came back with nothing as everyone gathered around Lien. "You told them." Said Tai Lung. "Yes. But still im getting worried about who i saw." Said Lien. "But you two are benders. You got this." Said Monkey. "Well her powers arent as they used to be since our last fight with the crocodiles." Said Tai Lung. "Oh." Monkey. "I remembered. She fainted on top of me." Said Mantis. "Maybe its best if you stayed out of the fights." Said Viper. "Shes right. This is our first child and I'd be dead if i lost you both." Said Tai Lung as Lien held up a finger before running into the cave. "Better make her tea." Said Tai Lung. "If we see Po. We'll tell him the news." Said Tigress looking at Tai Lung. "And making sure he doesnt go over board." Said Crane. "Thanks." Said Tai Lung before going in hearing Lien throwing up in their washroom.
After a while of the nausea going away and having the special tea that Soothsayer left. Lien and Tai Lung walked to the Jade palace seeing everyone coming back looking exhausted and saw a panda wearing Master Rhinos armor. "Can someone explain to us what happened while i was throwing up." Said Lien. "The village was being attacked by jade army of other Masters and we met Po's real father before that." Said Tigress. "Kai. Kai. Kai." Said Shifu while searching through the scrolls. "Kai? Hes back." Said Lien. "You know him." Said Po. "Yes. Oogway told me about him. Was he responsible for the attack?" Said Lien. "Here it is." Said Shifu jumping down from the ladder to the table. He opened the scroll reading out loud the story. "The Pandas are our only hope of stopping him." Said Tai Lung. Lien turned her head outside thinking back about what or who she saw sensing an odd feeling. "Lien? What is it? The baby okay?" Said Tigress. "The baby is fine. Just thinking about i saw. I feel like ive met them before i cant get a clear picture of it." Said Lien walking out. "Lien. Hold on." Said Tigress following her. "Who ever was there might put you and your unborn in danger. Its best if i looked out after you if Raaz isnt around." Said Tigress. "Thanks but what about Po? He needs to be straighten up and listens to you." Said Lien. "Thats true. But still i dont want my friend to get hurt." Said Tigress. "Still i need to do something to help stop who ever this samurai is and Kai?" Said Lien as they both heard a loud thud. "Lien. I was told about the good news. Congrats on being a mom. Cant wait to see the human baby?" Said Po looking down at her belly. "Step away from my wife. She might be emotional or feel sick again." Said Tai Lung. "What do mean by emotional?" Said Lien sounding angry. "Okay. Im going to leave since angry Lien is starting to scare me." Said Po walking back into the temple. "Soothsayer left me a few scrolls of your pregnancy. Now how i get you some vegetable spring rolls and dumplings." Said Tai Lung. "And I'll make you some tea." Said Tigress walking down the steps. "And no arguing. I know we need to help but your one thats in more danger." Said Tai Lung ignoring her death stare leading her down the steps to their cave.
