Chapter 1: A Beautiful Thursday Morning.
It was a beautiful thursday morning at the Clancy residence, Claire was cooking breakfast in the kitchen, Jojo was the first to wake up.
"Good Morning Mommy!" Jojo said happily to her mother.
Jojo went to the fridge to pour her some tasty almond milk and put some strawberry syrup to make her some strawberry milk, she sat down as stired it with a spoon she got out of the utensil drawer.
"Morning Sweetie!" Claire said in the same happy tone as her 4 year old daughter.
"Can I help you make breakfast." Jojo said wanting to help her mother cook breakfast.
"I don't see why not". Her mother said. " You can put the blueberry waffles in the toaster while i fix the sausages and bacon". She Said.
"Yay!" Jojo cheered as she put the blueberry waffles in the toaster.
She waited for the two blueberry waffles to pop out of the toaster.
POP! The toaster went, as the two blueberry waffles popped out of the toaster she put them on a plate, as she did with the other 2 more waffles after she put them in the toaster as well. However as she was just about to put the last 2 of in the waffles in the toaster she tripped on the extention cord of the toaster
"JOJO LOOK OUT!!!" Cried out Claire but it was too late, Jojo tripped on the cord, "WOAH!" Yelled Jojo as tripped on the cord, dropping the last 2 waffles on the floor and unpluging the toaster while knocking over the plates in the process.
"OOF!" Jojo said as she hit the floor. Doug And Nancy came downstairs to the kitchen to see what all of the commotion was about. "Oh mon Dieu!" Cried Nancy holding Marabelle. "That's French For Oh My Gosh." Explained Nancy to the viewers at home.
"What Happened Here?" Asked Doug Shocked.
"Jojo tripped on th"-. Said Claire Before Jojo cut her off, "I'll explain it to them mom besides it was all my fault anyway." She said to her mother remorseful at what she did.
Doug, Claire And Nancy were surpised by this, " That's weird?" Nancy Thought. "Jojo would never do this."
Jojo Started to tear up.
"I was making breakfast with mommy". She said her voice trembling. "I was doing a great job until i wasn't looking were and tripped on the cord where the toaster was plugged up!" She said with tears streaming down her face.
"Then the toaster fell and with it the plates with our waffles knocked over to!" She cried and cried." "I'M SO SORRY!!!" Jojo sobbed as Nancy went over to comfort her. "Aw come on Jojo it isnt all your fault for what happened." She said trying to make her younger sister feel better. "It's not?" Jojo said hyperventilating while her voice was still trembling from her crying. "No infact its my fault for not being there to help you when the cord was in the way." Jojo Hugged her. "Thanks Nancy she said feeling a bit better."
"Je T'en Prie." She said happily. "That's French For Your Welcome." Explained Nancy to the viewers at home.
"Nancy's right Jojo." Claire Said trying to make Jojo feel better. "However next time you should let me do the cooking... ok sweetie?" "Yes Mommy." Jojo said a little sad.
"Good." Said Claire. "Now your father and I are going to clean up this mess up and finish cooking breakfast, "in the meantime you girls can wait until i call both of you down to the kitchen." Claire said.
"Yes Mom, Yes Mommy." Said Jojo And Nancy as they went upstairs to play together. "I hope today will get any better ." Jojo thought to herself sadly. However what Jojo didn't know that it wouldn't get any better for her.
