The rangers might have done a lot to help the people of Steel Grounds, but even they deserve a break and have some fun. That's why when the fair came to town, they all went and checked it out.
"This is so stupid." Johnny said. "Isn't this sort of thing for kids?"
"No. It's fun for everyone. Have some fun, Johnny." Austin said. All of them were roaming around the fair and tried to have some fun with games and food. "You're more cold blooded than I thought if you don't like fairs."
"Austin's right, Johnny. There must be something around here that we can have fun with." Lance said as he looked around for something they could do. "How about we check that out?" He suggested as they were all standing near a haunted house.
"In there? I don't know." Timmy said as he was a little nervous about the place.
"Yeah... Haunted houses aren't really my thing." Hannah said.
"It can't be any worse than what we've dealt with. Most of these are cheesy props and are funnier than they are scary." Lance said. "You guys can stay out here if you want, but I'm going in." He didn't seem bothered by it at all and went to check the haunted house out.
"Lance sure is brave." Hannah said. "It's almost like nothing seems to stops him scares him in going the opposite direction."
"You can say that again. He was even brave enough to try the cafeteria's meatloaf. No telling what they put in that." Austin said. Lance has proven to be a good red ranger so far. Not only is he a good leader, but he's also brave and not afraid of a challenge. That's how a ranger should be. That's how they need to be for what they have to face.

Later
A couple hours later, the rangers were still enjoying their time at the fair, but their fun will have to turn to work. Some time later, a portal to the Underworld opened up and a new ghoul came walking out with the intention to cause mayhem. the rangers were enjoying their time at the fair until they heard screaming going on.
"Did someone else get scared of the haunted house?" Timmy questioned.
"That came from the opposite direction. Let's go." Lance said. As rangers, they had to check this out. They hurried as fast as they could and saw what the screams were about with people running in terror. They spotted the ghoul, but he looked just like a skeleton dressed like a cowboy.
"Giddy up, everyone. This little fair is about to have a real show." The ghoul said.
"What show?" Lance questioned.
"The one where this cowfolk, Cadver, destroys the rangers. Those varmints are about to get thrashed more than a country rodeo."
"A ghoul that's also a cowboy? That's just weird." Austin said.
"Doesn't matter. He's going down all the same." Lance claimed and each one reached for their morpher.
"Call of the Knights!" All five of them morphed and were ready for battle.
"Time for this cowboy to run off!" Austin claimed he was the first to attack Ashe charged right at the monster with his sword, but Cadver didn't move or anything. Austin swung his sword, but his attack just passed right through him. "What?!"
"That there was a nice breeze. Now I think it's my turn." Cadver said as he blasted Austin so easily.
"What happened?!" Timmy said.
"I don't know. It was like Austin's attack passed right through him." Lance said.
"Let's see if he can do that again." Johnny said. He jumped in the air and tried to attack himself, but the same thing happened. No matter how many times Johnny tried, his attacks weren't working. "What the heck?!"
"Your blades are as useless as a ten gallon hat actually holding water." Cadver said and blasted him.
"How come they can't hit him?!" Hannah said.
"Don't want you feeling left out." Cadver said as he fired at the other rangers, but Lance was the only one able to move out of the way.
"That's enough!" Lance called. He attempted to attack as well, but his sword just kept passing through.
"Blind as a bat, I see. Your weapons are of no use." Cadver claimed with him kicking Lance, but Lance quickly recovered.
"Try this! Power Slash!" Lance attacked by launching his energy at him, and that seemed to work. Cadver took some damage. "It worked! Whatever trick he's doing, he can't pass through energy!"
"Good to know!" Hannah said as she, Austin, and Johnny got their weapons ready. They all attacked together and blasted him, but he was able to endure.
"You're going to need more bite than that." Cadver said. He blasted all three of them again, and then blasted Lance.
"That didn't quite work. Now what?!" Timmy questioned. Looks like they're in a real predicament now.
"We have to pull back for now until we know how we can fight him." Lance said as there wasn't much choice.
"Are you serious? I don't run." Johnny said.
"Johnny, don't be stubborn. We need to get out of here." Lance said as they all retreated for the time being. Beating Cadver won't be easy.

Chalice
"This one is weird, but going to be tough to beat." Austin claimed as they told Pro everything. "Our swords just passed right through him. How can we fight him if we can't touch him?"
"It will be challenging. Physical attacks won't work." Pro said.
"But we do know energy attacks will. My Power Slash and a few of our weapons could damage him." Lance said. "The problem is that they don't hold enough power."
"So, we need something that does." Timmy said. None them knew what they could use, but Pro did.
"There might be something that can help." Pro claimed. "During the battle, the five knights had great and powerful weapons. Your five zords aren't the only ones out there."
"You mean there's more?" Hannah questioned.
"Yes. Some zords were hidden away, but I think there's one that can help." Pro said as he pulled out a map. "This is a map to the location of the tiger-zord."
"A new zord?! Awesome!" Austin said.
"But we must get the disc that is at the shrine for it." Pro said. "It will be dangerous, so we need the bravest of you to obtain it."
"Bravest? That's Lance." Timmy said.
"Timmy is right. Lance is the one that should get this disc." Hannah said. They were all in agreement that Lance should be the one.
"Pro, the tiger disc could give us the power to defeat this enemy, but you must be careful. At the same time, the others must remain here. Which means you'll be going alone." Pro warned. Lance demonstrated his bravery as he took the map.
"I can do it. We need to be able to fight the ghouls anyway we can." Lance said as he wasn't afraid.
...
The Underworld
"It looks as if things are going well." Gar said. "Cadaver's unique ability makes the rangers weapons useless. They'll never be able to defeat him."
"It's a little early to call it on that bag of bones." Creepna said.
"Creepna is right. As long as the rangers are still out there, they are a problem." Prince Ghoular claimed.
"I assure you that he will get it done. The rangers already ran from him." Gar claimed. "There's no way they will defeat him." He might be right, unless Lance can get that power.
...
Lance
Lance followed the map to the shrine of the tiger-zord. It wasn't as bad as Pro made it sound. He just simply walked through the woods and didn't run into many issues.
"This isn't so bad. What was Pro talking about?" Lance questioned. He looked around to see where he was going and it brought him to a mountain. "There the shrine should be..." Just then, he noticed something about the mountain on the map. "That's a volcano! I have to go in a volcano?!" Now he sees why one has to be brave.

Cadver
Meanwhile, Cadver has launched another attack. He opened fired like a careless and reckless cowboy.
"Reach for the sky and say you're surrendering to Prince Ghoular!" Cadver declared, but that was when Black Ranger jumped in from behind him and tried slashing his sword, but he just went right through him. "Was that meant for me?!" He teased and then kicked Johnny pretty hard.
"Johnny!" Austin called as they regrouped. "What were you thinking? You knew that wouldn't work."
"It was better than doing nothing." Johnny said.
"You colorful cow pies again? I see you didn't get that there's a new sherif in town." Cadver claimed.
"Can we find a way to zip that mouth? I'm getting tired of him talking." Johnny said.
"No problem." Hannah said as she and Austin took aim with their weapons and tried blasting him, but Cadver jumped in the air and fired his own shots at him and blasted them.
"This isn't good." Johnny said.
"We just have to hold on until Lance gets here. Let's hope it's soon." Austin said. That might be their only chance.
...
Lance
This ended up being more challenging than Lance thought. He made his way into the volcano and found himself in a cavern with lava.
"Oh boy." Lance claimed as this is going to get risky. He looked around and saw a narrow path going across the lava with him seeing a shrine on the other side. "That's got to be it." He sees it now, but he has to be careful. One wrong move and he's swimming in lava. Most would have been fearful, but Lance needed to be brave enough to walk across. He did just that as he carefully moved across the bridge. Lance carefully balanced himself over the path and tried not to fall. It would take some bravery to walk through a dangerous place. As he got closer, he could see the shrine just ahead. He could also see a disc with a black tiger face on it. "Almost there." He was just about to reach the shrine, but even if he gets the disk, will he be able to use it?

The Rangers
The other rangers were really struggling against Cadver. Nothing they tried was effective enough against him. As for Cadver himself, it was like shooting fish in a barrel for him. He blasted a few rounds against them and was able to take all four down.
"Give it up. You folks just don't have what it takes." Cadver said. Perhaps they have met their match.
"No way. We're not beaten just yet." Austin said as he reached for his bow, but Cadver blasted it right out of his hands.
"Nope. This showdown is over." Cadver said as he moved closer to them and tried to finish them off.
"I say it's only getting started." All of them looked and saw it was Lance with him having his slasher ready.
"Lance is back!" Timmy called as they were glad to see him.
"What's this? You're giant blade is useless to me." Cadver said.
"That might change when I use this." Lance said as he held up the disc he obtained.
"He got the disc!" Hannah said.
"Now let's see if this thing works." Lance claimed. "Tiger disc, set!" He attached the disc to his weapon. When that happened, his giant blade was ignited in flames. It was a sight to see.
"That's hotter than a salamander on a desert rock!" Cadver claimed. "What is that?!"
"This is your end!" Lance said as he charged right in. Cadver attempted to stop him as he started shooting at him, but Lance used his blade to shield himself and was able to land a powerful flaming slash against Cadver. The flames from the blade managed to deal some damage to him. "Now for the finishing strike!" Lance attacked again as he unleashed a power that took the form of a tiger. The attack struck Cadver and brought devastating power down on the ghoul. The power was too much for his body to handle as it surged through him and caused a fierce explosion. "So long, partner."
"Lance, that was awesome!" Hannah said.
"Try hot. That disc has some real fire power." Austin said.
"This hoedown hasn't hit the last not yet!" Cadver called as he came back and grew into a giant.
"We're not out of the woods yet. Let's go!" Lance said. Each of them called their zords and brought them together to form the megazord. Once they had it formed, they kept the fight going. They tried swinging their sword, but it just passed through him again.
"Yeeha! I'm still untouchable!" Cadver claimed as he fired away at them.
"We still can't touch him!" Hannah said.
"Even the megazord's sword can't touch him." Timmy said. "Now what do we do?"
"I already have the answer." Lance said as he held the tiger disc. He hurried outside and now stood on the shoulder. "Tiger-Zord, I summon you!" He called it just like the other zords. Then, a new zord in the form of a red tiger emerged.
"Wow! It's really a new zord!" Austin said.
"Now we really can win!" Hannah said.
"Tiger-Zord, combine!" Lance called. The tiger began to merge as the head came off and the body split apart. The two halves came down on the shoulders. As for the head, the horse helmet slid back so that the tiger head could come down and be used as a helmet with the megazord's face in the mouth.
"Tiger Armored Megazord!"
"Now let's really turn up the heat!" Lance said. With the new zord's power, they were able to wield a flaming sword. All it took was just one swing and they managed to strike against Cadver.
"Not again! Do we really need to be playing with fire?!" Cadver said as he didn't like where this was going.
"Not playing. We're using it to finish this!" Lance said. "Tiger Flame Slash!" They had their sword energize with the tiger's power and unleashed a powerful fiery slash. It had the same result: Cadver's destruction.
"Now that's a fiery finish." Lance said.
...
The Underworld
"What was that you were saying about Cadver being able to handle the rangers?" Creepna mocked.
"I... I don't remember." Gar claimed.
"Forget it. I'll deal with these failures another time, but we must find a ghoul to defeat these rangers." Prince Ghoular claimed. "Once they are out of the way, we can begin the conquest of their world." Prince Ghoular isn't giving up, but the rangers aren't either.
...
Chalice
"You did well, Lance. Many would have been fearful to get this, but you were very brave." Pro said as he admired the tiger disc. "Bravery is what helps make a great knight for a knight must be brave when going into battle. Hold on to the disc as both your reward and your responsibility."
"Of course." Lance said as he deserved it and took the disc.
"Lance, you were really brave." Hannah said. "What's your secret?"
"No secret. You just can't let fear get in the way. You just can't let it stop you." Lance said.
"And that's exactly what you did." Pro said.
"Pro, are there other zords out there?" Austin questioned.
"There is, but I'm still working on finding some of them." Pro said. "If we can find them, the megazord can grow even stronger."
"And so will we. We're not going to..." Lance was about to say something motivating, but that was when he noticed a bug. "Bug! Bug!" He shouted and just took off. It would seem even the brave does have their fears.
