I didn't know there was such a thing hacker apps, but I was glad Adam installed the anti hack app or whatever it was. I didn't need anyone else threatening me, I had enough of that crap in my life. This week of school was brutal we were preparing for tests and I was struggling to learn all the information. Plus my notes were shit and I was learning nothing off of them. If it weren't for Klea I would be failing for sure, not like I could ask Oliver for help here. I mean I probably could that kid knew everything but he was not here and I could do this on my own. I needed to do this I was smart enough, and I actually liked this stuff. I just found other things distracting and Aria was one of those things, now that she was my girlfriend all I thought about was her, this was worse than Scarlett. I mean I know she was my first but with Aria I felt different.
I felt like nothing else mattered when she was with me, I had butterflies in my stomach when she kissed me. I thought about her all the time and my god I was so in love. I never felt like this with Scarlett ever, I knew this was different and I wasn't going to rush it not this time. Another school day was over and I was laying on my bed, I hear someone walk in, "hey" Hunter said, "hey" I replied, "what is with you?" he said, "What?" I said, "you um never mind" Hunter said. I may have bene thinking a little to hard of my girlfriend and well it was not my fault. "What is the plan?" I asked, "not sure Piper as a test tomorrow so she is studying" Hunter said, "Aria too" I said, "where is Adam?" Hunter asked, "I assume he is with Klea" Hunter said. "Right that makes sense" I said I was bored, I should be studying but my head was not in it. "I am going for a walk" I said, "okay but please be careful" Hunter said. I rolled my eyes as I headed out of the dorm and outside, I mean I knew he meant well but I wasn't going to get in trouble every time I walked outside.
It was a beautiful night and I sort of wished Aria wasn't studying. I would have liked to share this night with her. I sighed as I sat on a bench in a park, what was going on with me I couldn't get her out of my head. My phone pinged it was Klea,
Klea: where are you?
Me: Park
I didn't get another reply but I knew she was coming to see me, Klea was like that. She was sitting next to me, "I need to tell you something but this is only between me and you okay?" she said. "Sure" I said, Klea and I did have our secrets sometimes we had too, there was a lot between us that others didn't understand. "I downloaded that app for a reason I knew it would hack my phone" she said, "What? Why?" I asked, "I wanted to see if the people who run it would come after me. It is a crime what they are doing" she said, "Klea they could be anyone and you could get hurt" I said. "I know but listen I think I know who is behind it" she said. "No we can't" I said, "when did you not want to go on an adventure?" she said, "when I realize we are not ready for this, call my dad tell him" I said.
"No we are just going to look Max, please I need you, I can't do this without you" she said. "Fine but if this goes south I am going to kill you myself" I said, "Deal" she said and I followed her. Sure I knew this was dumb but I couldn't let her go alone, what kind of partner would I be if I did that. We ended up in front of a giant house, I mean this place was huge. "This is there house, and no wonder its huge stealing money from people" Klea said, "Now what?" I said, "I am just going to look stay here" she said and she went up to one of the windows. I just prayed she didn't get caught, I looked down at my phone it was from Adam.
Adam: is Klea with you?
Me: Yes, be back soon
Adam: Okay
I looked back up and Klea was gone fuck, where did she go, I had to go look now. I walked up to the same window. I saw Klea she was in a room with 3 guys one of them had gun, and Klea was stuck. Shit I needed a plan but what, I mean not like I could just walk in there, did I risk knocking. Dammit Klea! I had no choice I couldn't leave her in there, I texted Adam again knowing he would be pissed but I needed help.
Me: Adam, Klea is in trouble, come to this address or um maybe call the police
I didn't wait for a reply as I ran up to the door, and I knocked I knew this was not a good Idea but I needed to do something. I needed to help her despite how much I hated this, the door opened.
"What the fuck another kid" the man said, "get him in here" another voice said, I was grabbed and pulled inside. Klea gave me an I am sorry look but not like that was going to help, and we were locked in a room. "Just great" I said, "I am sorry, I didn't think they would see me" she said, "Well they did and they have guns! We are not cops yet" I said, "shut up they can probably hear us?" she said, "Alright what is the plan then Einstein?" I said, "I don't know um let me think" she said, and I waited at least I knew Adam was out there and I was hoping Hunter. Oh man I prayed he called my dad, he was the only one who I knew could help. We still had no idea why these guys even had guns but I had a feeling we wouldn't be alive long enough to find out. Klea was pacing the room and I knew she was thinking but I still had my phone, and before I could do anything the door opened and I was pulled out of the room. Shit!
