(Ayla's POV)
*When we went back to the University to check in with the Professor & Sally, it was daytime, so we were back in our normal forms. Amy was waiting for us outside. We were also both surprised & relieved that she figured out what happened to us at night. She said that she was surprised by our new transformation, but she knew that we were still us despite of what we looked like, which made us both really happy. She was also fangirling over how we defeated the Dark Gaia Phoenix. Then we went inside to meet with the Professor & Sally*
Professor Pickle: Wonderful! Another piece has returned! Good work, Sonic and Ayla! Keep going at this rate and the planet will be good has new in no time!
*Sally gave me a hug & kissed my brother's cheek*
Sally: Great job, you two.
Sonic: Eh, it was nothing.
*I rolled my eyes. I keep forgetting that humble isn't one of my brother's strengths*
Professor Pickle: I'd love to see the look on that Eggman's face right about now.
*I giggled*
Ayla: You and me both, Professor.
Professor Pickle: Speaking of that menace, it appears he's become quite active as of late. I've heard reports of strange sightings in her in Spagonia. It gives me chills just to think about it. See what you can find out.
Chip: You got it, Professor!
*We ran through the streets of the city, on our way to the Gaia Temple. Suddenly, a light blue robot that looked like a flying devil fish with a number of orange eyes, yellow claws, & an Egg Mobile located on its head, came flying down next to us. Three robots were in the driver's seat. As it moved in front of us, two pairs of laser guns came out of the water on either of the bridge we were in*
Robot #1:*off-screen* EGG DEVIL RAY IS READY FOR COMBAT!
*We dodged lasers being fired at us & hit the robot with Sonic's spin dash & my kicks, punches, & my Ring Blades*
Robot #2:*off-screen* UNEXPECTED COMBAT SIMULATION. PROCEEDING TO COMBAT MODE LEVEL 2!
*The robots tried firing fire at us, but we dodged the attack & hit it again*
Robot #3:*off-screen* PROCEEDING TO COMBAT MODE LEVEL 3! COMMENCING ALL OUT ATTACK NOW!
*The robot attacked us with everything they got, but we dodged all of it & hit the robot with a combination attack of my Ring Blades & Sonic's spin dash*
Robot #1:*off-screen* I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN.
*Then the robot exploded*
Sonic: Not a bad toy, but playtime's over, pal!
Ayla: So it's for you to take a long permanent nap!
*We went inside & Chip used the gem on his collar to make the pedestal appear. Sonic placed one of the Chaos Emeralds in, it started to glow blue, & rose up into the air. I felt my heart pound as the Emerald got it's power back. Then the Emerald floated into my hand. Then I heard a voice in my head again*
Chaos Emerald: The two worlds as one again.
*Those words left me completely shocked*
Ayla:*in her mind* Could the two worlds be . . .?
*We went back to the University to check in with the Professor & Sally, but we're surprised to find all of our friends there waiting for us*
Ayla: Guys? What are you all doing here?
Knuckles: The Professor and Princess Sally called us saying that had important big to tell us.
Shadow: It's about the Gaia Temples.
Sonic: What about them?
*Sally looked at the Professor nervously*
Sally: You tell them, Professor.
Professor Pickle: Very well. *he cleared his throat* Three of the Gaia Temples are not on Mobius.
*That left all of us completely shocked. No one spoke until I broke the ice*
Ayla: What do you mean they're not on Mobius?
Sally: It's just as he said. They're not anywhere on Mobius.
Sonic: What about the last one?
Rouge: Shadow and I recently found it. But Eggman already found it and is currently his latest headquarters something right on top of it.
Ayla: Great. So, about the missing Temples. How did you even find this out?
Professor Pickle: While studying the Gaia Manuscripts, the Princess and I discovered something very interesting.
*He picked up the scroll & held it up to the light on the ceiling. Suddenly, another map, of a different planet, appeared behind the map of Mobius.
Dulcy: Two Manuscripts!?
Professor Pickle: Indeed. As you can see, this map shows the locations of the last three Gaia Temples, which shows that they're in Holoska, Shamar, and Adabat. But none of them are in the locations.
Sally: And to make things even more confusing, we don't know
*I examined the Manuscripts closely. The more I did, the more the landmarks on the second map seemed familiar to me. Suddenly, that's when it hit me*
Ayla: THAT'S IT! *Everyone looked at me in surprise* Oh, sorry.
Vector: What's up with you?
Ayla: Knuckles how much do you rent about Earth's geography?
Knuckles: Quite a lot of it. Why?
Ayla: Because this other Manuscript is actually a map of Earth.
*Sonic, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Cream, Cheese, Rouge, Shadow, Vector, Espio, & Charmy
Sonic: You mean . . .
Ayla: Yeah. The last three Temples are on Earth. More specifically, Alaska, Iran, and Thailand. Also, the Chaos Emeralds have been taking to me every time we restore one of them. They think that it's time to reunite our two worlds again.
*Everyone was quiet for a while*
Vector: So, you mean . . .
Ayla: Yeah. If we want to get to the rest of the Temples, we have to go back to Earth and somehow reunite their world with ours.
Cream: But the last time we got transported there was completely by accident. When Dr. Eggman used one of his inventions to activate Chaos Control.
Cheese: Chao-Chao.
Amy: Yeah, so how are we going to get there without all the Chaos Emeralds?
*We all went quiet for a while to think*
Tails: Actually . . . I think I know a way. *he turned to Rotor* Rotor, I'm going to need your help.
Rotor: You got it.
*Tails & Rotor came back a few hours later with the Star Posts. Then they started to hook them up to Professor Pickle's computer*
Tails: Remember how we used the Star Posts to find Ayla when she got sucked into the Underground Zone? Well, we can also use them to get to Chris' world and find the Gaia Temples.
Espio: But what about the Time Suspension Phenomenon?
Tails: Well, no doubt it'll still happen. But if what Ayla says is true, then we may never have to worry about it again.
Cream: And then we can all see Chris and our friends any time we want?
Cheese: Chao-Chao!
Tails: That's right.
Cream: Yay! I can't wait!
Rotor: But we still have to get these connected before we do anything.
Tails: Right.
*It took a few hours, but they were able to get the Posts hooked up. The rest of us watched them from behind the doors to the Professor's office. Once that was done, Tails typed the coordinates into the Professor's computer & a portal appeared in between them*
Tails: We did it!
Sonic: Alright! Chris's world here we come!
Ayla: And the other Temples.
*We all stepped into the portal, on our way to Earth, our home away from home*
