Sonic & Ayla Heroes 4/4
(Vector's POV)
*After we defeated the Eggman's robots on the Egg Fleet, we checked on Eggman after he fell out, but he turned into a puddle of silver goop*
Vector: Guess he was a fake after all . . .
Espio: What do you mean, after all?
*I started punching on the doors to free our client, the one who gave us this job*
Vector: We're here to save you. *I got the door opened & it revealed our client, who I had deduced to be . . .* Dr. Eggman, I presume.
*And there he was. Sitting in the middle of the room with a scowl on his face*
Espio: What's going on?
Charmy: What's up?
Dr. Eggman: You knew it was me all along, didn't you?
Vector: It's all part of being a good detective.
Espio: Were we fooled that easily?
Charmy: You're rotten!
Dr. Eggman: Hey, hold on you guys! It's not trick and beside I plan on paying you. You'll be rewarded handsomely for helping me! As soon as I conquer the world, I will pay you!
*And we all knew that was never going to happen. I cracked my knuckles & Espio got in a ninja pose*
Vector: Some nerve promising what you ain't got!
Espio: We've been had!
Dr. Eggman: It's just . . . Wait a minute, just listen to me!
*Charmy got his stinger ready*
Charmy: Take this you BAD MAN!
*Then he flew all around Eggman, stinging him*
(Third-Person POV)
*Behind them, the silver puddle started to move. Then it took the shape of a robot that looked just like Ayla (look up "Metal Ayla" by "SwanGirl24" on "Deviantart")*
?: LIFE FORM DATA . . . SUCCESSFULLY COPIED.
*The robot Ayla nodded & flew away*
(Ayla's POV)
*We made our way up to the Egg Fleet on the X Tornado & landed on one of the ships*
Dr. Eggman:*off-screen**laugh* You fools must all have a death wish? Witness this invincible battleship built by the hands of a genius. It's power . . . Unmatched throughout the universe!
Sonic: Alright Eggman, let's get this party started! Ready to rock, sis!?
Ayla: Ready to roll, bro!
*We ran across the ship & then leaped to the next ship*
Knuckles: Wow! We're flying way high!
Tails: Better not fall!
Sonic: C'mon, this is nothing!
Ayla: Yeah, we've fallen from higher places.
Sonic: Let's keep moving!
*We landed on a ship that was full of cannons & robots*
Knuckles: The cannons are aiming our way! Watch for those target markers!
Ayla: And watch each other's backs!
*We traveled from one ship to the next, smashing any robot that got in our way*
Sonic: Sure are lots of battleships!
Tails: Where'd they get so many!
Knuckles: They really went overboard!
Ayla: No kidding!
*We fought a robot that looked like a battle mech from one of Chris's video games. Then we traveled on a mini propeller through some smaller ships*
Tails: Time to land on that giant battleship!
*We landed & zoomed along the ship, destroying cannons & robots. Using our combo move on some of them. After we destroyed the
Sonic: One down!
Tails: Alright!
Knuckles: Way to go, guys!
Ayla: Let's keep it up!
*We destroyed each ship, one-by-one until we made it to the Final Fortress*
Sonic: This must be Eggman's Headquarters!
Ayla: Almost reminds me of the Ark!
Tails: The air banks!
Sonic: How does this thing stay afloat!?
Knuckles: Doesn't matter! Let's take it down!
*We traveled through the ship until we made it to the ship's core. We easily it, & discovered the red Chaos Emerald inside. We made it outside the ship & found a robot called the Egg Emperor waiting for us*
Tails: This time you won't get away!
Knuckles: Give it up!
Sonic: This looks like checkmate, Doctor!
Ayla: So take your beating like a man!
Dr. Eggman: Hmph! Enough of this! Sonic, Ayla, Tails, Knuckles! Time to meet your maker! I'll show you what real evil is!
Sonic; This is it, guys! Don't hold anything back!
Ayla: I never do!
Tails: Okay!
Knuckles: No worries!
*We fought against the robot. Or wash easy. I had to admit, this was Eggman's toughest robot yet. It wasn't easy, but we soon destroyed it*
Dr. Eggman: Defeated! Impossible! Nooooooo!
*Just then, all the ships started to explode at once*
Knuckles: Boy, talk about cutting it close.
Ayla: No kidding.
Sonic: Eeh, not really.
Knuckles m: Come on, tell me you weren't scared? If it wasn't for us, you wouldn't of had a chance.
Sonic: Well, maybe you're right. Thanks Knuckles! You too, Tails! And you, sis!
Ayla: Always.
*Suddenly, Amy ran towards us, screaming my brother's name*
Sonic: Later guys, I'm outta here!
*He ran away, Amy right behind him*
Amy: Hey, wait up Sonic! Get back here!
*I sighed. That girl really is hopeless*
(Vector's POV)
*After Charmy got bored stinging Eggman, we interrogated him*
Vector: Then who was it? Who locked you up here for trying to conquer the world?
Dr. Eggman: It was . . .
(Ayla's POV)
*Me, Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles ran across the main ship, meeting up with Team Dark & Team Rose, who had Molly, Chocola, & Froggy with them. We stopped when we saw two robots standing on an antenna. One looked like a tall version of Sonic & the other looked just like me*
Neo Metal Sonic:*laugh* ALL LIVING THINGS KNEEL BEFORE YOUR NEW MASTERS!
*The robot version of me didn't say anything as the robot version of Sonic sent lightning into the sky. The lightning struck them both just as Team Chaotix arrived with the real Dr. Eggman in tow. Then the the robot version of my brother turned into a giant blue dragon & the robot version of me turned into a giant blue gryphon (look up "Mecha Gryphon" by "MysticNebula" on "Deviantart")*
Sally:*off-screen* Sonic!
*We turned towards the sky & saw the Freedom Fighters flying towards us on Dulcy. They landed next to us with no trouble at all*
Ayla:*in her mind* Looks like Dulcy's has finally perfected her landings.
*Sally ran up to my brother & hugged him. Amy glared at her with a jealous pout*
Sally: We got here as soon as we could! *she & the others noticed the Metal Overlords* What. Are. Those!?
Dr. Eggman: Metal Sonic and Metal Ayla have finally transformed!
*An army of Egg-Pawns ran pass us*
Sonic: So that's Metal Sonic and Metal Ayla!?
Dr. Eggman: It's useless! Metal Sonic and Metal Ayla have combined your data with the power Chaos and their super strong! We can't defeat them. Aaaa . . . If only we had the 7 Chaos Emeralds!
*I smirked*
Ayla: Funny you should mention that, Eggman.
*Each of us pulled out the a Chaos Emerald*
Dr. Eggman: What's this!? But how? Even with the Emerald's power, our chances for victory are slim . . . It would take a miracle!
Sonic: Just leave that to me and sis, Doc.
Ayla: You just sit back and enjoy the show.
Amy: Sonic, no!
Tails: I'm going with you too!
Sonic: Tails . . .
Knuckles: You can count me in too.
Ayla: Knuckles . . .
Shadow: Ok guys, we'll buy you some time . . . That way you can use your super powers.
*We turned to all our friends, who nodded. Saying they were ready to help us. I smiled*
Ayla:*in her mind* I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have such great friends.
*Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, & I gathered together*
Sonic: Ok then, let's get ready to do this. We'll show those creeps the REAL SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK!
*While each team worked together to destroy the robot's main joints. Then when both robots flew up into the air, Sonic & I used the Chaos Emeralds to turn into our Super Forms. Then we encased Tails & Knuckles in balls of gold energy so they could fly with us.
Neo Metal Sonic: LONG TIME NO SEE, SONIC AND AYLA. OUR LOATHSOME COPIES!
*We all flew around the robots, dodging laser attacks & battleships being thrown at us. The battle seemed to go back-and-forth until we heard Eggman's voice through our comms*
Dr. Eggman:*off-screen* Can you hear me, Sonic and Ayla? Regular attacks are useless now. Attack using your Team Blast!
Sonic: Here we come! You all ready!?
Ayla: Always!
Tails: Of course!
Knuckles: We're with you until the end!
Sonic: You actually thought you could defeat me and Ayla, by transforming into monsters!?
*We followed Eggman's advice & used a powerful combo move to weaken them. We heard our friends voices over the comms, cheering for us. We did the move again & again until both robots were completely destroyed*
Neo Metal Sonic: WHY!? WE HAD IT ALL! WW ARE THE ULTIMATE OVERLORDS! THE METAL TWINS! WE ARE THE REAL SONIC AND AYLA! *Then their bodies disappeared into the clouds. We all flew back to the main ship in the Egg Fleet, where the Metal Twins were back in their regular forms* IT'S NO USE . . . BUT WHY CAN'T WE DEFEAT YOU?
Sonic: Heh. Because we're . . . Sonic and Ayla Heroes!
Amy:*off-screen* Sonic!
*We turned & saw all our friends coming towards us*
Sonic: Anytime you two want a rematch, just let me know.
Ayla: Anytime, anyplace!
*And we both took off. Sonic turned back*
Sonic: I'll see you later, Sal!
*Sally smiled & blew him a kiss. Tails ran after us*
Tails: Hey Sonic, Ayla, wait up!
*Amy joined the chase*
Amy: Sorry to leave like this, but I can't let MY Sonic get away!
(Ayla's POV)
Cream: Good luck, Amy!
Big: Bye-bye!
Knuckles: Sonic sure has his hands full.
*Rouge went past him*
Rouge: I guess I'm outta here too. I think I'll go hunt for someone else's treasure.
Knuckles: She never gives up, does she? Oh no you don't! Wait!
*He ran after her*
Vector: Guess that's it for this case!
Espio: Guess so.
Charmy: What about our money?
Vector: Oh man, I almost forgot . . . *they turned to Eggman, who was trying to sneak away* That slime ball!
*Team Chaotix ran after him. Omega picked up the deactivated Metal Sonic & Metal Ayla*
Topaz: I'll call the Commander and tell her what just happened. Maybe G.U.N. can put this to good use.
Shadow: We'll see.
(Ayla's POV)
*Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, & I were now on the ground, zooming to wherever the wind took us*
Sonic: Alright! Our next adventure awaits us so there's no time to waste!
Ayla: We are Sonic and Ayla Heroes!
*After the battle, we all returned home. The Thorndyke family was overjoyed to have Molly back, safe & sound. Commander Tower was so impressed with the teamwork of Shadow, Rouge, Omega, & Topaz that she decided to make them a tactical black operations team under her direct command. Rouge came up the name Team Dark for them. And since G.U.N. protocol requires each team to have a trainee to look after, so she assigned Molly to them, which made her overjoyed. All in all, this was a short-but-sweet adventure*
