Chapter 12: Date Bait
On the Chimerian Hammer, Albedo(in Galvan form) was speaking to both of the Vilgaxs. Prime Vilgax wore the Ruby Ray of Rouleau on his right hand and the Shield of Ziegel on his left hand.
"You're telling me what? I don't see how some minor weapons could unlock nigh omnipotence," Albedo said.
"The Shield and Ruby Ray are currently minor weapons, but powerful energy beholders. Even I didn't realize their true potential until now," Prime Vilgax said, "Until we've retrieved the other artifacts, they are to remain as separate weapons."
"I wouldn't put my faith in ancient fairy tales Vilgax," Albedo said, "You both would be unwise to-"
Reboot Vilgax cut Albedo off by grabbing his neck with one of his tentacles.
"And you would be unwise to question our authority. I find your lack of faith disturbing," Reboot Vilgax said.
"Let him go," Prime Vilgax said in an unenthusiastic tone.
Reboot Vilgax let go of Albedo's neck, and Albedo gasped for air.
"You are dismissed," both Vilgaxs said in unison.
Albedo left the room to work on his assigned project.
On Khyber's ship…
Khyber and Reboot Kevin saw the whole thing on camera as they were planning their next move to keep their foes busy as both Vilgaxs demanded.
"Albedo may be smart, but he isn't all that wise," Kevin said, "Ego much?"
"Indeed," Khyber said, "He should be careful not to choke on his aspirations, or lack thereof."
"Wait. The greatest huntsman in the galaxy tells dad-jokes? Really?" Kevin asked.
"Dad-jokes? What do you mean?" Khyber asked, "Do you think I'm a father?"
"N-No Master. It's just that… what you said is what they call a dad-joke. It's basically like a really bad pun," Kevin said.
"Oh. How unfortunate… Though if I ever was a father, I'd be quite proud of myself and my noble child," Khyber said.
After about a few seconds of awkward silence, Khyber decided to cut to the chase.
"Ahem. Anyway, the Vilgaxs want us to launch some attacks on our enemies to divert their attention from them locating some relics," Khyber said, "What do you say? You, me, Regina, and revenge?"
"Sounds fun," Kevin said with a smirk.
Plumber Headquarters…
Both Bens, Reboot Gwen, and Rook were in the living quarters chilling out. Reboot Ben was flipping throug the channels on the TV, Reboot Gwen was reading a book, Rook was making small adjustments to his Proto-Tool, and Prime Ben was listening to music via his phone and headphones. Some of the channels that Reboot Ben flipped through included a cheesy kids show about Four Arms, Heatblast, and Wildmutt, an equally cheesy show about some guy who looked like a barbarian version of Ben 10 with weird aliens, and a reboot of the Xingo Show (A mentioned congrats to whoever guesses the first two shows).
Reboot Ben then flipped to a news station called Harangue Nation. A newscaster came on screen behind a table with the Harangue Nation logo in the background. The newscaster has olive skin with several lumps. He has fin-like ears, tendrils on his chin, gills on the back of his neck, tentacles instead of hands, has one eye on his face, two eyes on the sides of his head, and another eye on a tendril on his left shoulder. He has three webbed toes, and his tongue is a dark green. He wears a black suit with a handkerchief in the breast-pocket along with a red tie.
"Breaking news! A few days ago, Psyphon and his gang had attempted to use a bomb to blow up all of Bellwood. They were stopped, but they caused collateral damage in attempt to keep the bomb from being defused. But most of that damage was caused by that menacing juvenile delinquent, Ben Tennyson!" The newscaster said, "He and someone who appears to be his sidekick had attempted to blow up the bomb on the spot! We are in danger of two evil little alien brats now! No one is safe! Both Ben Tennyson and his sidekick are to be eliminated now! Though no one seems to see the evil in them, I know how demonic these kids are! Make note that-"
The newscaster was cut off when Prime Ben noticed what Reboot Ben was watching and turned off the TV.
"What was that all about?" Reboot Ben asked.
"That was Will Harangue. He usually does that," Prime Ben said, "Whenever something bad happens, he always puts the blame on me regardless of the evidence saying otherwise. He even started a Ben 10 smearing campaign and once teamed up with the Incurseans, the Forever Knights, and the Vengers in spite of me."
"What!? Man, what a prick!" Gwen said.
"Well, I'm used to it now," Prime Ben said
"Yeah! Though how many people had joined his campaign," Reboot Ben asked.
Gwen looked it up on a Plumber iPad and answered, "Huh, nobody joined. Not even this world's villains."
"Indeed," Rook said, "Harangue is also an outspoken alien xenophobe, and is a minor threat to the Earth and extraterrestrial ambassador project. His discrimination of aliens and his biased hatred of Ben is the reason that the Harangue Nation has gotten perhaps the most hate messages in the galaxy by aliens and humans alike."
Gwen looked it up on her iPad and both she and Reboot Ben were shocked at Harangue's wide collection of hate mail.
"Yikes," Gwen said, "Yeah that guy isn't going to be in a career for very long if his habits keep up."
"You should see his building," Prime Ben said, "Every week, someone has to wash the egg and tomato stains off it and replace the broken windows."
This comment received a chuckle from both Reboot Ben and Gwen. Prime Ben's phone then ringed and he answered it.
"Hello?" Prime Ben answered, "Oh, hey Julie… Yeah I'd love to go, I haven't eaten since breakfast… Meet you where?… Got it, thanks… Love you too… No, you hang up… Okay, we both hang up in 3… 2… 1…"
Both Prime Ben and his caller hung up.
"Who was that?" Gwen asked.
"Oh that was Julie, she wants to meet me for lunch," Prime Ben said, "Maybe you two can come along too. You might really like her."
"Sounds cool," Reboot Ben said.
"What about me?" Rook asked.
"You can come too I guess," Prime Ben said.
Burger Shack, 12:30 PM
Just outside of a Burger Shack restaurant, a 16-year-old girl was waiting at one of the outdoor tables. She has medium-length black hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. She has her hair kept in pigtails by a pair of magenta ribbons and wears a black T-shirt, mostly hidden under a pink hoodie with white stripes on it. She also wears a white mini skirt, short white socks with orange and yellow stripes, sported white tennis shoes with pink bottoms, and a pair of light blue stud earrings. She has a white purse with a thin black strap over her right shoulder. Her name was Julie Yamamoto, who was waiting for her boyfriend, Ben.
Resting inside Julie's purse was a Galvanic Mechamorph. He is small and has a dog-like body. He has a black exterior with green stripes resembling circuitry. His paw and tail extensions have somewhat defined edges, and he has a single cyclopean eye that resembles a green circle in the center of his face. This was Julie's pet Mechamorph, Ship.
"Ship. Ship," Ship barked.
"Don't worry, he'll be here. Just be patient," Julie said while petting Ship.
Meanwhile…
Both Bens, Reboot Gwen, and Rook were walking to Burger Shack after having been teleported at least a block from it to chat.
"So, what's Julie like?" Gwen asked Prime Ben.
"Oh, she's usually kind and good natured. She is very supportive when the time comes and she is a professional tennis player," Prime Ben said.
"She sounds great," Gwen said.
"She sure is," Prime Ben said, "also, try not to hurl, other me."
"Why?" Reboot Ben asked.
"You'll see," Prime Ben said.
The gang arrived at Burger Shack and Julie noticed them and smiled while waving.
"Hey Ben," Julie greeted, "Glad you could come."
"Hi Julie," Prime Ben greeted.
"Nice hoodie," Julie said.
"Thanks," Prime Ben said while rubbing the back of his head, "By the way Julie, these are the younger alternate versions of me and Gwen that I told you about. Ben, Gwen, this is Julie, my girlfriend."
"Your what? Gross," Reboot Ben said, "You could have warned us before we got into the romance junk."
"I thought it was implied," Prime Ben said, "Besides, romance isn't that gross. Grow up, dude."
"Cute," Julie said.
Suddenly, Ship came out of Julie's purse.
"Ship! Ship!" Ship barked before tackling Gwen and licking her.
"Stop it! Stop it!" Gwen said in between laughs.
"That little Mechamorph licking your face is named Ship," Prime Ben said.
Prime Ben lifted Ship off of Gwen and started scratching his head.
"Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?" Prime Ben cooed, "Are you a good boy? Are you a good boy? Yes you are! Yes you are!"
"Ship! Ship!" Ship barker in enjoyment.
Ship hopped back to Julie, who petted him before setting him down.
"So how's it been Ben?" Julie asked.
"Just fine. Inter-dimensional road trip, my enemies team up, I team up with another version of myself. Something like the usual," Prime Ben said before taking a seat parallel to Julie.
Rook directed Reboot Ben and Gwen to sit with him at another table.
"So, how's tennis been?" Prime Ben asked.
"Well, I won a tournament last week, though you were probably too busy dimension hopping to see it this time. I have a video of it on my phone for you to watch," Julie said.
"Thanks," Ben said in a solemn manner.
"You okay Ben?" Julie asked.
"Yeah, I'm just happy that's all," Prime Ben said, "I really needed some downtime from all that's been happening. Best of all, I get to spend it with you."
That last part made both Prime Ben and Julie blush but after a few seconds of getting themselves back together they both giggled at how cheesy what Prime Ben said was. Meanwhile at the other table with Reboot Ben, Gwen, and Rook, Rook was on a tablet, Reboot Ben was trying not to focus on Prime Ben and Julie's romance, and Gwen was watching Prime Ben and Julie with glee.
"What are you doing?" Reboot Ben asked Rook.
"I am surfboarding the internet. It provides a fascinating insight into human culture," Rook said, "Kitten video, kitteh video… Look, this one wishes to 'Haz Cheeseburger'," Rook said before noting Reboot Ben's disgust, "I do not understand human behaviors, so I am not aware of why you consider this romance to be revolting. Back on Revonnah, we accept romance as a part of life and know that we will eventually get involved in it. Even my youngest brother who is about your age has no problems with it."
Reboot Ben turned to Rook a bit disgusted by what he said and responded, "Don't you have a kitteh video you should be watching?"
"Awww… Aren't they cute?" Gwen asked, being a helpless romantic.
"Ugh! Please! Mushy romance junk makes me sick. Everyone with sense knows that the only love that matters is the love of all things awesome," Reboot Ben complained.
"Ben, you're my cousin and I love you like a brother. But can be such a sourpuss! This is romantic," Gwen said.
"Don't care. I'm feeling nauseous now. I better get out of here before I puke," Reboot Ben said, getting out of his seat.
"Oh my god, they're about to kiss!" Gwen hollered.
"Where!?" Reboot Ben asked, rushing back.
Gwen gave a sly smile to her cousin and he realized he had been tricked.
"Okay that's it! I'm out of here!" Reboot Ben said with a blush and steam forming from his head.
"Ben! Come back! I was just messing around with you!" Gwen said as she chased him.
Meanwhile on a nearby building…
Khyber, Reboot Kevin, and Regina were spying on the gang from afar.
Khyber chuckled before saying, "Far too easy. Like, I believe the Earth saying is, shooting fish in a barrel."
"I assume you're going to send your pet to play with the dweeb I got beef with while I just sit here like some meaningless audience," Kevin said.
"On the contrary, I was thinking of letting you have this one," Khyber said, which stunned Kevin, "The best hunt is the more… personal one. Care to take your Ben Tennyson?"
"With pleasure," Kevin said with a smile on his face.
Kevin hit his Antitrix and transformed into Ore. Ore jumped down and landed in front of Reboot Ben and Gwen.
"Nice meeting you here. Eh, buddy?" Ore asked before firing an ultraviolet laser.
Both Reboot Ben and Gwen dodged the laser and Reboot Ben dialed his Omnitrix.
"Alright Kevin, you're in the wrong neighborhood," Reboot Ben said before turning into Upgrade, "Upgrade? I wanted Humungousaur."
Ore fired another beam at Upgrade, who shapeshifted himself so that the lasers would pass through his holed body. Upgrade looked around and merged with a lamppost, turning it into a snake-like tentacle. Upgrade dodged laser fire and swung himself, hitting Ore. Upgrade then wrapped around Ore and pounded him to the ground a few times. Ore got back up and blasted Upgrade, causing him to separate from the lamppost. Upgrade then fused himself with a motorcycle and rammed straight into Ore. Ore got back up and turned into Hot Shot. Hot Shot blasted fire at Upgrade, who evaded it with some motorcycle tricks before converting himself into some sort of robot with wheels for feet and the front of the motorcycle for his chest. Upgrade extended his arm for a punch, which Hot Shot dodged and fired more fireballs. Upgrade ran away from Hot Shot to a safe distance and then charged at him using his wheels. Upgrade hit Hot Shot, who retaliated by launching many fireballs at Upgrade. Upgrade skated to evade the fireballs and fired a laser from his chest, hitting Hot Shot. Hot Shot turned into Voltage and fired electricity at Upgrade. Upgrade dodged the attack and Voltage went to a car, opened up the hood, drained the battery, and blasted Upgrade, sending him back. Upgrade got back up and both opponents charged at each other.
Back at the Burger Shack…
Ben had ordered a cheeseburger with a side of chili fries and a soda while Julie had ordered a veggie burger with a small side salad and a drink of water.
"Thanks Julie," Prime Ben said.
"For what?" Julie asked.
"For having me on this date," Prime Ben said, "I like excitement, but I'm just glad I could be with you for some downtime."
Just then Prime Ben, Julie, and Rook heard an explosion behind them and turned to see Upgrade fighting Voltage. Prime Ben sighed.
"Me and my big mouth," Prime Ben sighed, "Hey Rook, can you watch our lunches for us please?"
"As you wish," Rook said.
Prime Ben ran over to see what was going on, readying his Omnitrix. Khyber noticed this from afar.
"Nobody interrupts my apprentice's vengeance without an ambush," Khyber said before whistling to Regina.
Regina jumped off the building and turned into Slamworm. Slamworm landed headfirst into the ground and dug back up, surprising Prime Ben.
"This job requires some serious muscle. Four Arms of muscle," Prime Ben said before hitting his Omnitrix and transforming into Ball Weevil. He was a small yellow insect-like alien with black eyes and green pupils. He has four stick legs and a sideways beak along with a big antenna. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on a green and white brace around his neck.
"Ball Weevil!? I said muscle, not minuscule!" Ball Weevil said in frustration, "Oh well, I guess I'll just have to improvise as always."
Ball spat up a green plasma ball, hopped onto it, and rolled the plasma ball while on top of it. Slamworm spat blasts of acid at Ball Weevil, who dodged the attack while absorbing debris and rubble into the plasma ball, increasing its size. Ball Weevil then rolled towards Slamworm on the big plasma ball.
"Eat exploding gummy-ball thing!" Ball Weevil said.
Ball Weevil kicked the plasma ball straight towards Slamworm and it exploded on impact, hitting Slamworm in the face. Ball Weevil spat up another plasma ball and kicked it, he repeated this cycle of spitting and kicking until Khyber whistled and Slamworm turned into Terroranchula. Terroranchula spun a force field web and used it to block all of the plasma balls. Terroranchula then disbanded the web, spat another web, caught Ball Weevil, and threw him towards the side of a building. Terroranchula walked up to Ball Weevil and tried to skewer him with her sharp legs. Ball Weevil avoided the attack and jumped under her, but was pinned down by another web and turned back. Terroranchula went up to Prime Ben and he hit his Omnitrix, turning into Big Chill. Big Chill phased through the web and flew up before freezing Terroranchula under a large glacier, but Terroranchula transformed into Hypnotick. Hypnotick released a red mist and flapped her wings, hypnotizing Big Chill. Hypnotick then opened her mouth and extended her tongue. Julie noticed this and decided to intervene.
"Come on, Ship. We've got to help Ben," Julie said.
"Ship Ship!" Ship said before jumping up to Julie.
Ship encased Julie in flexible armor with fin-like objects on her forearms, fin-like knee pads, and a helmet with a green visor covering her face and small fins on the sides of her head. The armor was black with green stripes resembling circuitry, similar to Ship.
Julie fired a green laser blast from her wrist, hitting Hypnotick and setting her off balance. Big Chill shook his head and snapped out of the trance.
"Julie? Thanks for the save," Big Chill said before flying back down.
"Like the new armor? It's not as bulky as the other one, but it is tuff and allows for more mobility," Julie said.
"Anything you think is good is bound to look good on you," Prime Ben said.
"Ugh! And I thought Kevin was gross," Upgrade said, passing by while still fighting Voltage.
"Hey!" Voltage said before firing another red electric blast.
Hypnotick got back up.
"What's the plan?" Julie asked.
"Don't know. This thing is capable of matching me alien to alien," Big Chill said before getting an idea, "Unless I turn into an alien she hasn't had to face before."
"That thing's a she?" Julie asked.
Big Chill hit his Omnitrix and turned into Wildvine. He was a humanoid plant with one green eye in the middle of his face, four vine-like legs, four long and thick fingers on his hands, flytrap-shaped flaps with teeth covering his head, and pods on his back that he can use as explosives or smoke bombs. He has green skin, light green patches on his forearms and hands, green secondary eyes on each of his shoulders, and a blue tongue. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on a green and white belt.
Wildvine stretched his vines and wrapped Hypnotick in his tendrils. Wildvine slammed Hypnotick down and threw her into the side of a building. Meanwhile, Khyber still watched the fight from a building.
"A slight alteration in my hunt? No matter. There is no shortage of predators to counter my prey," Khyber said before whistling his gills.
Hypnotick transformed into a new predator known as the Locust Mantis, the natural predator of the Florauna. She was a large insectoid creature that resembled a cross between a wasp, a praying mantis, and a locust. She had a black head with a yellow face with black markings, black mandibles and antennae, and red fly-like eyes. She had a black thorax with a yellow underbelly and a yellow prothorax connected to the wings with a few black stripes. She has two wings that are a pale, light green and resemble dragonfly or wasp wings. She has frontal legs resembling a praying mantis' grasping legs. These legs have a lack coxa that fades into a brownish green, this brownish green is also on the femur and the spikes and the tibia is yellow, as are the shoulders. The middle legs have black femurs and yellow tibia and end in a black pincer. The hind legs resemble that of a grasshopper or locust and are mostly yellow with a black stripe on the femurs and end in a small black part. The abdomen is mostly a dark gray with a green underside and ends in a dark grey stinger. She wears a red-spiked collar with the Nemetrix on it.
Locust Mantis ripped out of the vines and hovered above the ground with her wings. She spat out poisonous saliva at Wildvine, which he dodged. Wildvine extended his fingers towards Locust Mantis, but she shredded them apart with her frontal legs. Locust Mantis flew towards Wildvine at high speeds and hit him back. Julie blasted another laser at Locust Mantis, but this only made the insectoid predator angrier as the shot didn't do much against the tough exoskeleton. Locust Mantis growled at Julie, but Wildvine threw a few explosive fruit pods at the beast, catching it off guard. Wildvine tried to use his tendrils to drag Locust Mantis underground, but she easily managed to tear out of the vines and spat more poison at Wildvine, which he dodged. Wildvine jumped over Locust Mantis and threw more fruit pods at her. She managed to dodge the assault and spat out a goo-like substance at Wildvine, pinning him against the wall of a building. Julie fired a few small missiles at Locust Mantis hitting her and making her feel pain. This angered Locust Mantis. Locust Mantis spat out poison at Julie, but she created a force field to avoid the onslaught.
"Wait, that thing's a big bug. And I know from experience that bugs of any size most likely don't like water," Wildvine said before hitting his Omnitrix and turning into Overflow, "Okay, I was hoping for Water Hazard but Overflow is more versatile."
Overflow used his water blasts to burst out of the goo and blasted Locust Mantis with a blast of water. This hindered Locust Mantis being unable to fly until her wings dried off, which probably wouldn't happen if Overflow kept up his attacks. Locust Mantis shot more poison at Overflow, who dodged the attack and blasted more water at Locust Mantis and blasted freezing water at her feet, immobilizing her. Khyber took notice of this and whistled his gills again.
Locust Mantis transformed into the Cascans' natural predator, the Moray Shark. She was about as large as a whale shark and her body seemed like a mix between a shark and an eel. She was silver with many scales, she had two small red eyes, four small nostrils, and a large mouth with many greenish yellow teeth. She had six greenish yellow horns or spikes surrounding her face, one straight one each on her forehead and chin, one curved one on each of the sides of her chin, and one large curved one on each side of her forehead. She had a large dorsal fin on her back that had periwinkle spines and greenish yellow webs. She had a smaller pelvic fin on her underside and an anal fin and a soft dorsal fin near the end of her tail all with the same web and spines as the larger dorsal fin. She has six gills on each side of her neck, and has fins resembling the webbed feet of a frog in front of the gills. These fins had silver phalanxes and greenish yellow webs. She has a few lines on her chin and wears the red spiked collar with the Nemetrix on it.
Moray Shark roared at Overflow and slithered up to him like a snake. Overflow evaded the charge and looked back at Rook.
"Why are you just standing there?" Overflow asked Rook.
"You told me to look after your lunch," Rook said.
"Actually, just get a to-go box to put it in and make Khyber stop whistling commands at his cat," Overflow said.
Rook did what he said and grabbed a couple of to-go boxes for the separate meals before getting a reboot Gwen.
"I hope you do not mind watching the lunches, younger, smaller Gwen," Rook said before using his grappling hook to seek out Khyber.
"Once again, I miss out on the action. Eh, guess I'll just cheer them on from here," Gwen said before sitting down, "Come on Ben! You can do it! Jab, jab, uppercut!"
Overflow blasted water at Moray Shark, who took the hits without much pain, opened her mouth, and several tentacle-like tongues came out and all went towards Overflow, who propelled himself out of the way.
"Man, the other me would hate this a lot," Overflow said to himself.
Overflow launched himself at Moray Shark with his water blades ready, but Moray Shark coated herself in red electricity, electrocuting Overflow and sending him back as soon as he made physical contact with her. Moray Shark then closed her mouth and gagged as if she were going to throw up in her mouth. When she opened her mouth, she revealed behind her teeth a large bulbous eyeball with a black vertical slit pupil.
"Ugh! Now that's just freaky! Not sure whether you need an ENT or an ophthalmologist for that," Overflow said.
Moray Shark charged up an electric laser from her eye and fired it at Overflow, electrocuting him and sending him back into the side of a building.
"Though I have a pretty good idea on which one I'll need," Overflow said.
Moray Shark blasted more electric optic blasts at Overflow, who dodged them and blasted freezing water at her, encasing her in ice but she managed to burst out of it. Julie blasted more lasers at Moray Shark. Moray Shark tried to slam her tail on her, but she managed to fly out of the way by using her suit's jet boots and blasted more laser fire at the Moray Shark while dodging laser fire. Moray Shark retracted her mouth eye and grabbed Overflow with her tentacle-like tongue. She then brought her mouth eye back out and prepared to blast Overflow again. Overflow managed to squeeze his left arm from the grasp of Moray Shark's tongue before he got out his water blade and used it to stab Moray Shark's mouth eye, causing her severe discomfort and pain and causing her to release Overflow. Overflow timed out one turned back into Prime Ben.
"A time out? Now?!" Prime Ben asked before evading electric laser fire from a now very angry Moray Shark.
Meanwhile, Upgrade was still dodging Voltage's electric blasts while blasting lasers at Voltage, which he dodged. Voltage plugged his antennae into the transformers of a utility pole and syphoned the power into himself before blasting Upgrade and electrocuting him, causing him to separate from the motorcycle before turning back to normal. Reboot Ben got back up and transformed into Humungousaur.
"Oh yeah! Humungousaur! About time!" Humungousaur said.
Humungousaur slammed his tail to the ground, creating a shockwave that sent Voltage off balance before turning back into Reboot Kevin.
"Now that that's settled, I got to help the other me with Khyber's cat," Humungousaur said before running towards Moray Shark.
Humungousaur punched Moray Shark in the mouth eye and grabbed her by the tail and swung her around like a rag doll.
Meanwhile on a building…
Khyber was watching the whole fight and turned to see Rook at the scene to fight him.
"It would appear, Khyber, that the predator has become the prey," Rook said.
Khyber didn't respond. But he did pull out a blaster and fired it at Rook, who dodged the attack and got out his Porto-Tool to make a shield to deflect the blasts before turning his Proto-Tool into blaster mode and blasting Khyber, who evaded the lasers and pulled out his knife. Khyber went for a few slashes that Rook evaded, before using his blaster to fire a shot that hit Rook. Rook survived the shot thanks to this Proto-Tech armor.
"Eh, I had it on stun anyway," Khyber said before switching the blaster to laser blast, "I was just saving the real deadly stuff for Tennyson."
Khyber fired a few shots and Rook dodged before firing a bola from his Proto-Tool at Khyber that restrained his legs and electrocuted him.
"You are under arrest Khyber. In the name of the plumbers I order you to call off your attack Panuncian and the other Kevin," Rook said.
"Hard pass," Khyber responded.
Khyber then swung his restrained legs, tripping Rook off of the building. Rook used his Proto-Tool to get back to the top safely while Khyber cut the bola with his knife and put his blaster back on his belt and whistled to Regina. The handle of Khyber's knife was extended a bit while the blade was encased in a red laser and the red laser extended, converting the knife into a lightsaber-like laser sword.
"Though I will agree with you on one thing, Revonnahgander. Versatility does have advantages," Khyber said.
"Alright then," Rook said before putting his Proto-Tool into blade mode, "On guard."
Khyber swung his sword at Rook, who blocked the attacks with his own blade before thrusting it at the huntsman, who evaded the attack and clashed his sword with Rook's blade, resulting in both opponents pushing their blades against each others'.
Meanwhile with Prime Ben, Julie, and Reboot Ben…
Humungousaur was lifting Moray Shark, who was knocked out cold, like a large weight. Prime Ben and Julie were watching him when suddenly Reboot Kevin got back up and turned into Hot Shot. Hot Shot launched a sneak attack and blasted fireballs at Ben and Julie, who dodged the attack before Hot Shot launched a beam of fire which Ben dodged.
"Come on Omnitrix. Give me Arctiguana," Ben said before hitting his Omnitrix and turning in Heatblast, "Heatblast? You know Omnitrix, Heatblast has got to be at least as not Arctiguana as possible. Just saying."
"You wanna rumble? Then come at me Matchstick!" Hot Shot said before blasted another fire beam at Heatblast.
Heatblast absorbed the fire with no problem and blasted fireballs at Hot Shot that exploded on impact, knocking him back. Hot Shot got back up and slammed the ground, causing lava to erupt towards Heatblast, who avoided the attack and landed on the lava.
"Nice puddle, Hot Head," Heatblast said.
Hot Shot blasted an inferno at Heatblast, who didn't even try to evade the attack. Instead Heatblast simply absorbed the inferno and dusted himself off.
"Dude, I'm a Pyronite like you. That big inferno just felt like a breath of fresh air to me," Heatblast said.
"Right. How about I just crank down the heat," Hot Shot said before turning into Frostbite.
Frostbite blasted ice breath at Heatblast, who dodged the attack and retaliated by blasting more fire at him. Frostbite phased through the attack and froze Heatblast solid, but Heatblast burst out of the ice and launched fire at him.
Meanwhile, Humungousaur was busy lifting Moray Shark, who shot wide awake after hearing Khyber whistle and transformed into a different predator. She turned into a very large beast that resembled a cross between a centipede and a carnotaurus. She has a large, segmented purple and gray body with a black shelled back and a red head resembling that of a Carnotaurus or a Tyrannosaurus with a horn on her forehead. She has four legs and six small arms with two clawed fingers on each of them. She also wears the iconic red spiked collar with the Nemetrix on it. She was now Tyrannopede, the natural predator of the Vaxasaurians.
Humungousaur tried to keep Tyrannopede lifted, but couldn't handle the weight and was caught under Tyrannopede's belly. Tyrannopede made eye contact with Humungousaur and growled.
"Uh oh," Humungousaur said.
Tyrannopede got off of Humungousaur and roared at him before charging at Humungousaur while he ran away. Humungousaur grabbed onto a utility pole and swung himself towards Tyrannopede before she grabbed him with her mouth and slammed him down. Tyrannopede tried to slam herself down onto Humungousaur, but Humungousaur threw her off with all his strength. While she was belly-up, Humungousaur tried to punch Tyrannopede, but she got back up and Humungousaur was sent flying and landed on her back. Humungousaur held onto her back and Tyrannopede responded by shaking her body and running around like a rodeo bull.
"Need any help?" Julie asked, flying up to Humungousaur.
"Ship! Ship!" Ship barked.
"No. I got this. This ain't my first rodeo you know," Humungousaur said, still holding on, "Actually know that I think about it, THIS IS MY FIRST RODEO!"
Tyrannopede flipped Humungousaur off of her back and shot webbing from her horn at him. Julie shot a few missile blasts at Tyrannopede to divert her attention from Humungousaur. Meanwhile, Humungousaur was trapped in the webbing and was trying to think of a plan.
"Okay, so this thing has tons of predators to counter my aliens. Now how do I counter my own natural predator?" Humungousaur said before looking down at his Omnitrix symbol, "Oh right. Duh. With unnatural Omni-Kix armor."
Humungousaur turned his Omnitrix symbol by ninety degrees and was enveloped from head to toe in Omni-Kix armor. His face, lower jaw, torso, arms, and knees are covered in white and brown plating, his neck is covered in grey and white plating, the inside of his mouth and shoulders are green, and the mace on the end of his tail is now cylindrical with grey spines running from his neck and back. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest. He was now Omni-Kix Humungousaur.
Omni-Kix Humungousaur tore out of the webbing and ran straight towards Tyrannopede and hit her with a powerful tail swing, sending her into the side of a building.
"Now this is more like it," Omni-Kix Humungousaur said.
"Guess I'm not the only one with armor," Julie said.
Tyrannopede slammed her tail into the ground and swung her tail, launching a lot of debris at Omni-Kix Humungousaur and Julie. Julie fired lasers at the debris to keep it all from hitting them while Omni-Kix Humungousaur followed her lead and fired a laser from his mouth at the debris. Omni-Kix Humungousaur and Julie fired lasers at Tyrannopede, but it did little against her thick skin and hard, shelled back. Tyrannopede charged at the duo and Julie flew out of the way while Omni-Kix Humungousaur got eaten. However, he wasn't swallowed. Omni-Kix Humungousaur pried Tyrannopede's mouth open and Julie fired a missile at her neck, causing her to release Omni-Kix Humungousaur. Omni-Kix Humungousaur landed on the ground, jumped up, and slammed his tail on the ground, creating a shockwave that sent Tyrannopede off balance. Tyrannopede got back up and regained composure before roaring.
Meanwhile Heatblast was still fighting Frostbite. Frostbite blasted a freezing beam at Heatblast, but Heatblast jumped into the air and flew away from the beam. Heatblast then charged at Frostbite like a comet and hit him, sending him back. Frostbite got back up, put his arms out, and blasted a blizzard at Heatblast, who retaliated by blasting an inferno at him. Both the blizzard and inferno clashed and both Heatblast and Frostbite battled with all their strength to make sure the other would eventually succumb to the clashing attacks. Both opponents ceased their blasts and charged at each other. Frostbite phased through Heatblast, freezing him, but Heatblast burst out and they both turned back to normal.
"Had enough, Kid Kevin?" Prime Ben asked.
"Hardly," Reboot Kevin said before turning into Undertow.
"Okay then. Let's just wrap this up. There's a date I'd like to get back to. Going to need Big Chill for this one," Prime Ben said before hitting his Omnitrix and turning into Goop, "Of course."
Undertow blasted his water at Goop, who evaded the attack, but got hit by another blast and melted. Goop's anti-gravity projector reconfigured him and he got back up.
"I needed a solid guy for the water blasts, not a slimy one," Goop said before looking at his anti-gravity projector and getting an idea, "unless I go both slimy and solid."
Goop grabbed his anti-gravity projector and turned the Omnitrix symbol on it ninety degrees. Goop was enveloped in Omni-Kix armor and became Omni-Kix Goop. His head was green with a black line that separated his head from a point on top of his head that had Goop's slime showing in it. He has a white face plate with green eyes and a metal tube that reaches around the back of his head and is connected to a respirator where his mouth should be. He has green playing around his neck and upper torso with white plating over his chest and upper back with silver playing on the sides of his upper torso and silver plating just below his chest that went all the way down to his stomach. The armor on the lower torso was black with bright green markings below the silver plating. He has the same anti-gravity projectors, with green circles instead of Omnitrix symbols, for shoulders and hips and his arms and legs are made of the same stuff as Goop. He has green and white arm guards that each have silver openings, two green V shapes, and a silver sensory nod with a green circle above each V shape. His leg guards look the same as his arm guards, but they don't have the sensory nods. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest, with two green V shapes below it, and it is connected to a metal tube that has green lines on it, and reaches his shoulders and goes around the back of his neck.
Omni-Kix Goop evaded Undertow's water blasts by shape shifting his body. He was armored, but even with the armor he was still as flexible as he usually is, he's just tougher to splatter in humanoid form. Omni-Kix Goop kept evading the water blasts and spat straight into Undertow, immobilizing him, and stretched himself out to wind up a punch straight to the face that sent Undertow out of him and into the road.
"Ha. Take that Kid Kevin. I'm the dollop with a wallop," Omni-Kix Goop said, "Wow, I can see why Skurd calls himself that."
Undertow got back up and turned into Hot Shot. Hot Shot shot fireballs at Omni-Kix Goop, who performed a backflip to dodge the attack and turned his hands into thick slime whips. Omni-Kix Goop swung his whips at Hot Shot who dodged and ducked under some of the whips. Omni-Kix Goop hit Hot Shot with a slime whip. Hot Shot got back up and evaded more slime whip slams but was caught by another whip and thrown to the side of a building. Hot Shot landed feet first on the wall and evaded another slime whip attack before launching more fireballs at Omni-Kix Goop, knocking him back. Luckily, Omni-Kix Goop's armor kept him from feeling any serious harm. Hot Shot blasted more fireballs at Omni-Kix Goop, who blasted acid slime balls that put out the fireballs, but evaporated when hitting them. Omni-Kix Goop turned his hand into a massive hammer and slammed it down on Hot Shot, who surrounded himself in a fiery explosion to get Omni-Kix Goop's hammer off and Omni-Kix Goop jumped back a good distance.
"It's going to take more than just slamming your little hammer to pin me down," Hot Shot said.
"Then how about my little hammer!" Omni-Kix Humungousaur said, getting Hot Shot's attention.
Omni-Kix Humungousaur held Tyrannopede by the tail and jumped up and swung her down onto Hot Shot, pinning him down and knocking both Hot Shot and Tyrannopede out cold before the two of them turned back to normal. Julie joined the armored alien duo and Omni-Kix Goop and Omni-Kix Humungousaur fist-bumped each other before turning back into the two Bens.
"We'll leave these two for the Plumbers to pick up. In the meantime, let's help Rook take out Khyber," Prime Ben said.
"Roger that," Julie said before grabbing Prime Ben from behind and Reboot Ben turned into Stinkfly.
Meanwhile with Khyber and Rook…
Rook exchanged sword swings with Khyber as both opponents blocked each other's attacks. Khyber then kicked Rook back, causing him to trip, and held the point of his sword to his face.
"Any final words Blonko? I've got to cut this show short," Khyber said.
"Sorry Khyber, but the show ain't over till the fat lady sings," Prime Ben said.
Khyber turned to see Prime Ben, Stinkfly, and Julie ready to attack him. Prime Ben hit his Omnitrix and turned into NRG. He was a humanoid physical being that was constantly emitting pure, red, radioactive energy wearing a heavy, dark green-teal furnace-like containment suit with three slits capable of containing high levels of radiation and heat. There is a handle on his head and the shoulders have bolts. There are three more bolts on each wrist, and two on the chest. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on the armor's chest seal. Inside his suit, he wears a green and black lower level containment suit consisting of two straps, a belt, two wristbands on both arms, two knee braces on both legs, and the Omnitrix symbol on his belt. He currently had the containment suit on.
Julie fired laser blasts at Khyber, who deflected them all with his sword. Stinkfly shot slime at Khyber, but he dodged the attack before deflecting NRG's radioactive optic blasts and getting electrocuted by Rook's taser. NRG punched Khyber in the face, sending him against the parapet of the building.
"Well this isn't very sporting now, is it?" Khyber asked.
"Khyber, in the name of the Plumbers you are under arrest for assault, attempted murder, and all around mayhem. I order you to stand down," a Rook said.
Khyber put his hands up and said, "Fine. Whatever. I surrender… Actually, I just remembered that I have business elsewhere to attend to. So, I believe that I will bid you 'au revoir'."
With that, Khyber put his left hand down, snapped his fingers, and disappeared in a red light. Reboot Kevin and Regina did the same.
"Well, there goes Khyber, his pet, and Kid Kevin… again," NRG said in his Russian accent, "So… want to get back to our date?"
NRG turned back to normal and Ship got off of Julie.
"I'd love that," Julie said before briefly kissing Prime Ben on the lips.
Stinkfly gagged and shielded his eye.
"Seriously you two, get a room," Stinkfly said.
Back on Khyber's ship…
Reboot Kevin was punching his punching bag with his bare hands.
"Ugh! We lost to those chumps again!" Kevin said in frustration, "We failed!"
"Actually, we succeeded. Our goal was to distract them and keep them from getting suspicious of us not launching an ambush," Khyber said while sharpening his knife with Regina by his feet, "But don't feel bad Kevin. They've just always been lucky with the extra help. Next time, our conflict will be between us and just both Tennysons. Khyber the Huntsman promises it."
"As does Kevin, his loyal apprentice," Kevin said, turning to Khyber and kneeling to him, much to Khyber's pride.
Back at Burger Shack…
"Thanks for watching our food Gwen," Prime Ben said before rubbing Gwen's hair, to her enjoyment for her appreciation.
Gwen went back to the other table with Reboot Ben and Rook to let Prime Ben and Julie finish their date.
"Why does romance have to be so gross?" Reboot Ben asked.
"Well, don't you think they're at least cute together? Doesn't Benulie sound pleasing?" Gwen asked.
"Nope. I hate the gross girly couple stuff. I couldn't care less about shipping," Reboot Ben said before saying under his breath, "Besides, BenJulie sounds much better."
"What was that?" Gwen asked with a sly smile.
"Nothing!" Reboot Ben said blushing a bit before running over to the counter to order something, trying to avoid Gwen finding out.
In another timeline
A girl named Anne Boonchuy dodged a timeblade as a different 12 year old Ben hits his ommitrix.
Crystals climbed up Ben's body as he became Diamondhead
Diamondhead leaped and punched Eon who was sent back.
"Oh come on why are you so hard to beat?" He asked, annoyed.
"Maybe because your outnumbered " The alternate Gwen says and leaped and kicked him as he shot a time blast as she barely dodged as Diamondhead tossed crystal shards as Eon dodged. he rushed and used a timeblade but Diamondhead used his crystals to block as they battled it out.
Anne Boonchuy hit Eon with a tennis racket then a girl named Sasha Waybright leaped and slashed his arm with a sword as he gasped in pain and glared as he retreated for now
Meanwhile
"So you fell in love with a girl who only liked you for a Alien wolf that's rude" Reboot Gwen says.
" I know" Ben says.
