In a different Planet Sunny was glaring. She'd have her revenge somehow
The Way Bad looked down upon everyone and Prime Ben walked forward in front of everyone.
"Give me some room, everybody!" Prime Ben said.
Obeying him, everyone else ran to the other side of the island and Prime Ben hit his Omnitrix and turned into Arctiguana, much to everyone's dismay.
"Way Big's gonna knock this. I…" Arctiguana then noticed what he transformed into, "Oh."
Arctiguana looked up at the Way Bad, who shifted his head down in front of the island and growled. This scared Arctiguana and he ran away from the Way Bad, who opened his mouth and bit into the island, demolishing it. Everyone retreated, hoping island to island, but the Way Bad followed them at a running pace. Arctiguana fired his freezing ray from his mouth at the Way Bad while running. The ray hit the Way Bad in the face, freezing around his left eye and annoying him. The Way Bad brushed off the ice and roared.
"Why did I think that would take it down?" Arctiguana asked before running faster.
The Way Bad jumped up and smashed an island to bits. Luckily everyone got off of it and Gwen fired mana blasts at the Way Bad while Manny shot lasers from his blasters. Both attacks hit the Way Bad and he just got angrier. Rook launched a missile at the Way Bad, hitting it in the right eye and angering it much more.
"I think we're just aggravating him," Manny said.
"You think?" Helen asked.
While the Way Bad's foot was on the ground, Arctiguana froze it to the ground, and the Way Bad turned his attention to his foot to try to get it out of the glacier. This bought everyone some time to escape the Way Bad, but he got his foot out of the glacier and roared. Reboot Ben turned into Jetray and he flew and grabbed Kevin and Zed with his feet. Helen grabbed Manny and sped off with Jetray. Arctiguana froze the Way Bad, this time freezing both its feet to the ground. Arctiguana turned his attention to Alan, Swift, and Leander and got an idea. Arctiguana then froze the surface of the entire island and when the Way Bad got its feet unstuck it had trouble maneuvering due to the thick, slippery ice. Arctiguana turned to Alan, Swift, and Leander and spoke to them.
"Alan! Swift, Leander! Use your pyrokinesis, neuroshock beams, and radioactive blasts at the same time and focus your attacks on the Way Bad's head fin!" Arctiguana said.
"Roger that," Alan said before turning into his Pyronite form.
Alan blasted a beam of fire from his hands, Swift fired neuroshock beams from her eyes and tail, and Leander put his fingers on the left side of his head and fired a radioactive beam from his grill-plate. All three of them fired their blasts at once and the combined blast collided with the Way Bad's head fin and caused an explosion that was twice as big as his head and caused him to slip on the ice and fall through the island and into who-knows-where. Everyone regrouped after the Way Bad's defeat.
"You are hardly anything like Servantis described you," Swift said.
"Thanks. I assume he said some pretty nasty things about me," Arctiguana replied.
"Indeed," Swift responded.
"How about we save the celebrations until after we escape the Null Void," Phil said, still holding his right arm.
"I'm not sure that an escape would be safe with all the Way Bads wandering around," Alan said.
"Or anything else," Helen said.
"I know someplace in here we could stay until things settle down," Kevin said.
Zed barked.
Later in the Null Void…
Kevin led everyone into a cave and he and Manny moved a large boulder, blocking the way out to prevent anything from getting in. Gwen and Alan turned back to their human forms.
"We should be safe in here," Kevin said.
"Should?" Helen asked.
"Well it's better than "won't"," Kevin replied.
Everyone sat in a circle around a fire that Alan created for warmth, in the following order: Prime Ben, Reboot Ben, Kevin, Zed, Helen, Alan, Manny, Leander, Phil, Swift, and Gwen. Gwen used her mana powers to relocate the bones in Phil's arm in the proper position before making a mana construct of makeshift bandages for Phil and putting a mana construct cloth wrapped around his neck and right arm, creating an arm cast out of mana energy.
"Thanks," Phil said.
"Don't mention it," Gwen said.
"So Swift, since Leander is a human/Prypiatosian-B hybrid and you are a human/Aerophibian hybrid, we can assume that neither of you started out that way before you met Servantis. So how exactly did you meet him?" Rook asked.
"Even I never knew your true origin story. I'm quite curious," Phil commented.
Swift paused and looked at the fire, then at the ground before speaking.
"Fine. I'll tell you all everything you need to know about where I came from and how I got to where I am now. But I must warn you… this tale isn't for the faint of heart," Swift said.
Flashback to 5 years prior to Omniverse… (Italics = narration)
We see an old run down apartment where a little girl who was around 11 years old waking up from sleeping on a mattress with a blanket. The girl was Asian and was somewhat frail. She had mint green eyes, pink lips, and black hair that barely reached her shoulders. She wore grey pajamas. This girl was Swift when she was 11 years old.
Swift: I was merely an orphaned child living in a rundown apartment alone. I was always fending for myself.
Swift decided to "shower" using the rain water she collected from a bucket outside, and somehow she didn't smell bad, before getting ready for the day. She wore a towel and brushed her teeth before brushing her hair and putting on a pink T-shirt, blue shorts, and a pair of white, worn-out shoes. Swift went out to a cheap store to buy some bread for breakfast. She was a daily customer as she bought only cheap food to satisfy her hunger, thus she was known by the store manager.
The store manager was a tall middle-aged man with beige skin, blue eyes, and a few wrinkles on his forehead. He wore a green shirt with blue jeans and a name tag that said "Jonathan".
"Hi John," Swift greeted in a cheery yet shy manner.
"Oh, hey there Swift," John greeted Swift in a friendly tone and his Brooklyn accent, "So what will it be? The usual?"
"Yep," Swift said, "Don't worry, I already know where it is. I've been here many times."
Swift walked over to the bread aisle to get a bun for breakfast and went to the vegetable aisle to get a small salad for lunch. She bought what she needed and left.
"Bye John," Swift waved goodbye to John.
"See ya later kiddo," John waved back from the checkout aisle.
Swift left the building and Jonathan sighed.
"Poor kid," Jonathan said to himself, "Wish there was more I could do more for her without my boss gettin' so uptight about it."
Swift took out the bun and ate her breakfast while walking home.
Swift: I didn't have the best childhood, but I was a very kind child even if I was miserable.
Nighttime…
Swift was sleeping on her mattress with her pajamas on. She was woken up somewhere around 3 in the morning when she saw a bright light. She woke up to see what it was.
"Is it morning already?" Swift asked herself.
Swift: I was living as normal a life as I could possibly afford, with what little money I got from helping sweep floors and what the charities gave me. That's when he came.
Swift looked out the window and saw some strange military-like vehicle. She decided to go outside and check it out, but she then heard a knock on the door. She got dressed in her shirt, shorts, and shoes opened the door and saw someone standing there.
He was a tall man with pale scarlet skin, a black pointed beard and eyebrows, and a large head similar to that of a Cerebrocrustacean. He had red eyes with dark outlines around them. He has spikes on the side of his head and a red crystal on the middle of his head. He has three claws on each of his hands with the same colorization as his brain-covering scale, and wears black Proto-Tech Armor. This was Servantis long before he had perished.
Servantis looked down at Swift and creepily smiled, frightening Swift a bit. Swift closed the door, but Servantis used his electro-telekinesis to open it. Swift fearfully ran to the wall and knew she would probably face the worst.
"Stay back! Go away! Please!" Swift begged in fear with tears in her eyes.
"Don't worry, child. This won't hurt a bit," Servantis said before he opened his cranium, revealing his large brain, and fired an electric beam at Swift, causing her to black out.
Later in the Rooter Headquarters…
Swift woke up in a dark room when she remembered what had happened, she tried to escape, but was stopped after noticing that she was strapped to a table. She also noticed that she was hooked up to a device and she wasn't alone. To her right was a kid about her age.
The kid was a thin and scrawny boy with shoulder-length black hair, pale skin, and dark brown eyes with tin black marks around them. He wore a silver padlock necklace with a number 11 on it and wore black Proto-Tech armor similar to Servantis' but with small differences. This was Prime Kevin as a 12-year-old.
To Kevin's right was an Aerophibian, who didn't seem comfortable with the way he was restrained. He was a large, red and yellow alien similar in appearance to a manta-ray. He has hands and feet with three digits and has yellow horns above his eyes, which have a yellow stripe leading down to his yellow lips, and they have a third eye right between them. He has red eyes and a lizard-like tail and a ray-like patagia, which is yellow in front and red in back. His sides have markings that resemble gills and he has a zigzag/lightning strike pattern around his upper torso.
"Where am I? And who are you guys?" Swift asked.
"Don't worry, there is nothing to fear Swift. We have perfected the operation," Servantis said, stepping out of the shadows.
"Yeah, it's worked with all the other kids," Kevin said to her.
"That's right. And Kevin here is the key to it all," Servantis said.
"Other kids? Operation? How do you know my name?" Swift asked.
"That's not important right now. Do you know what DNA is, Swift?" Servantis asked her.
"I think I read about it once… it's the building blocks of life… right?" Swift asked.
"That is correct. Now, Kevin has a very special type of gene in his DNA that makes it possible for us to live-graft your DNA with that of that Aerophibian over there," Servantis said, pointing to the Aerophibian, "When we are finished, you will have incredible abilities, and you will be able to do many things with them."
Servantis went over to the control panel and began pressing some buttons.
"Is an Aero-what-ever-it-is that alien guy over there? Wait, this "operation" isn't going to hurt, is it?" Swift asked.
"Oh it won't hurt… that long," Servantis said before activating the machine.
"Wait what!?" Swift asked.
An energy surge was created from the Aerophibian. This energy surge went through a wire and was absorbed by Kevin before it was sent through another wire and went towards Swift, putting her in great pain. Swift squirmed to escape with no prevail, and began her transformation. Her skin turned vivid red, her eyes turned red, and her hair turned dark red, and she grew two small spikes from the top of her head. Her ears turned a bit spiky and her fingers began extending, with her index finger merging with her middle finger, and her ring finger merging with her pinky finger. Her toes merged back together into her feet, which extended out two long toes and a long back toe from each foot, tearing through her shoes. She grew yellow horns that looked exactly like those of Jetray, a third eye in between those horns, and she grew a long red tail from her backside, tearing through the back of her shorts.
Swift: In my real memories, Servantis experimented on me and turned me into what I am now.
Swift looked upon her new appearance and was understandably horrified. She then accidentally shot neuroshock beams from her eyes at the walls. Servantis just stood there with a pen evil grin. He opened his cranium and caused Swift to black out again.
Later…
Swift slowly regained consciousness and noticed that she was being carried by two unknown Rooters through the prison hall. Before she could act however, she was thrown into a cell and locked in. Swift then ran to the cell door and began banging on it.
"LET ME OUT! PLEASE! I WANNA GO HOME!" She screamed at the top of her lungs in desperation.
She knew that it was hopeless, but kept banging anyway. Soon, she stopped banging and got on her knees and started weeping. She looked at her hands and was still mortified over what Servantis turned her into. She backed into a corner and hugged her knees while silent tears streamed down her face.
Swift: I was kept in a cell like some sort of human lab rat for other cruel experiments that Servantis had in store.
When she stopped crying and opened her eyes with wet cheeks, she noticed that she wasn't the first one in the cell. She saw a kid, sitting on the bed, playing with a Rubik's cube.
The kid looked like a male humanoid and wore nothing but black Proto-Tech Armor that covered his entire body and serves as his containment suit and has a black helmet that is in the shape of a human head. He has spiky ears and a handle at the top of his helmet. There are three slitted holes on the face of his helmet which glow red. This kid was Leander when he was just 13 years old.
Swift: But then that's when I met Leander.
Swift crawled to him and sat beside him on the bed. She looked at him and he looked back.
"Hi there. My name is Swift," Swift greeted in a timid voice.
Leander didn't respond and just looked at her.
"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?
Leander still didn't respond.
"Can you even speak?" Swift asked him.
Leander shook his head.
"Wait. Did you get turned into something like me? Did the evil man with the electric brain experiment on you turn you into this?" Swift asked.
Leander nodded his head.
"So I guess I wasn't the only one," Swift said, "By the way, this question may be redundant and all but… what's your name?"
Leander put the Rubik's cube aside, reached behind the bed, and got out a notebook and a pencil. He then started writing before showing the notebook to Swift.
The notebook read, "Hello, Swift. My name is Leander."
"Leander? That's a nice name," Swift said.
Leander took the notebook back and wrote again before showing it again. The notebook read, "Thanks. I like your name too."
"Awww… thank you," Swift responded before giving the notebook back to Leander.
Leander wrote, "You're welcome."
Swift asked, "You know, seeing as how we're in here together, do you want to be friends? I never had many friends back where I came from."
Leander wrote in his notebook and it responded, "Yes, I would like for us to be friends. I didn't have many friends back home either."
Swift smiled before giving Leander a hug, but she accidentally caused her vivid red patagia to come out, tearing the sides of her shirt.
"Woah! I have wings?" Swift asked before she noticed her shirt, "Oh, darn it! That was my favorite shirt."
Swift: Overtime, Leander and I began to know each other better. And I got better control of my powers. I told Leander about where I come from and Leander wrote about how he came from two abusively neglectful parents. He ran away from home and that's when he accidentally ran into Servantis. He took him to his base to turn him into a human/Prypiatosian-B hybrid and gave him Proto-Tech armor as a containment suit.
Flashback to after Servantis let his Ben 10 hit squad loose in the Null Void…
Servantis cursed, yelled, and destroyed many objects in rage before noticing Swift and Leander in their cell on the camera.
Swift: After Servantis fired his Ben 10 hit squad and erased their memories, he realized he needed someone to act as his right hand men. Or right hand slaves.
Servantis smiled. Servantis went to Swift and Leander's cell and opened his cranium and zapped them both in the heads. Later, Swift was completely redressed in the Proto-Tech Armor and had black lipstick.
Swift: Servantis wiped our memories clean and brainwashed us. He told us that we were captured by a man mad who experimented on us both, wiping our memories and turning us into these hybrids, and that he saved us from him. When in reality, he was the madman.
Flashback to after the events of Weapon XI, Part 2…
Servantis, who had a bandage wrapped around his head, Phil, Swift, and Leander were trekking through the Null Void after having had their Plumber badges and base revoked. They all encountered a Way Bad.
"What do we do now, Proctor?" Swift asked.
"You're asking me?" Servantis asked.
"Yes, you were the mastermind behind our entire operation. What you're orders?" Swift asked.
"I say that you and Leander should have these back," Servantis said while evilly smiling.
Servantis shot electricity from his head at Swift and Leander's heads, restoring their memories and locking himself out.
"S-Servantis? What…What did I do? Were we really just…your experiment?" Swift asked.
Leander was just as shocked and betrayed with his memories restored like Swift's.
"Yes. Now I'd like to stick around, but I have somewhere safer to be," Servantis said before running off.
"What!? Servantis! You deceitful coward! You can't abandon us now after everything you put us through!" Phil yelled.
Phil, Swift, and Leander turned their attention back to the Way Bad as it roared.
End of Flashbacks…
"We served Servantis completely unaware that he was our true enemy and that he was just using us," Swift said, finishing her and Leander's origin story.
"I recently recovered that memory of you and Leander being two of the kids I helped amalgamate. I'm sorry. If I'd remembered you and Leander were two of his abducted kids, I never would have left you two here in the Null Void," Kevin said.
Zed laid on the ground and whined.
"Don't be sorry. This is Servantis' fault, not yours," Swift replied.
"Either way, we can all agree that Servantis got everything that was coming to him," Manny said.
"Yeah. The dude had what was coming to him after what he did to you and the rest of us," Alan said, "He even abducted my dad, who was a fellow Plumber, and had him go through the same procedure I did just to back up his falsehoods and cover up his tracks."
"I wish I gave his karma to him, but times ten," Phil responded.
Helen went up to Swift and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Look at me Swift. It's okay now. Servantis can no longer use or hurt you or anyone else anymore," Helen said.
Helen then hugged a Swift to comfort her and Swift smiled and returned the hug with a tear rolling down each cheek.
"Are you… crying?" Helen asked.
"Y-Yes. It's just… was you said was very sweet," Swift responded.
"You know, I think I like it better when you and Leander aren't brainwashed," Gwen said, putting a hand on Swift's shoulder.
Prime Ben noticed his Reboot counterpart and asked, "Are you… also crying?"
"No… I just got something in my eye," Reboot Ben said.
"Yeah, that's what you people always say," Alan said with a smirk.
"Alright, enough with the warm fuzzies. What do we do when we bring the former Rooters back?" Manny asked.
"We'll explain everything to the Plumbers later. Right now we got to focus on how we're going to get out of here," Kevin said.
"We'll head to the portal area with the former Rooters. We escape this place and quickly sneak to the portal area, first thing as soon as everything quiets down outside," Prime Ben said.
Suddenly, a Way Bad breaks the ceiling off, leaving everyone completely exposed. This Way Bad has red eyes and has a larger right arm, a jaw that is always opened, and red claws on his right arm, with grey fingers on his left. He has white bone protruding from his crest, shoulders, elbows, and it's calves. His skin that isn't his bony fins is grey on his face, upper arms, and stomach, black in his back and thighs, and purple everywhere else.
"Or now. Now is good too," Prime Ben said.
The Way Bad roared at the group. Gwen changed into her Anodite form while Alan changed into his Pyronite form. Everyone then turned and noticed another Way Bad.
This Way Bad was female and was more feminine-looking, having eyelashes, horns arranged like ponytails, longer legs and a more voluptuous figure. She had an overall gothic look, given her dark overall look, and the spiked bracelets on her arms, legs, and neck.
The female Way Bad lifted a rock and everyone got off of the island that they were on before she smashed it with the rock. Gwen created a large mana surfboard that she got on and had Prime Ben, Kevin, Zed, Rook, Manny, Helen, Leander, and Phil get on it too. Alan lifted a rock from underneath his feet, set it ablaze, and surfed on it like a hoverboard, while Reboot Ben turned into Ghostfreak and he and Swift flew on their own. Both of the Way Bads chased them. Prime Ben dialed in his Omnitrix, hoping for a useful alien.
"Come on Omnitrix, give me something big to take on these Way Bads. You hear me? Big!" Prime Ben said before hitting his Omnitrix and turned into Walkatrout. He was a small, blue fish-like alien with stubby fins for arms, a shark-like dorsal fin, and a pair of thin, spindly legs jutting from his underside. He has a wide mouth with an underbite, and gills on his cheeks with bulging green eyes. He wears a green belt-like strap around his "waist" and back, with the Omnitrix symbol connecting the front.
"Walkatrout!? How does this help anybody!?" Walkatrout said before hitting his Omnitrix symbol and turning into Grey Matter.
"Grey Matter!? Seriously!?" Grey Matter said before hitting his Omnitrix symbol and turning into The Worst. He is a yellow, fat, round blob-like alien who wears a pair of green underwear with white stripes on it. He has elephant-like feet with three toes and bear-like hands with three claws. He also has wart-like bumps on his forehead and both arms. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his belly button.
"Okay, now that guy has got to be, like the worst," Ghostfreak commented.
"This guy isn't "like the worst". This guy is The Worst! Come on already Omnitrix!" The Worst said before hitting his Omnitrix symbol and turning into Gutrot. He has the appearance of a mechanical humanoid in a green outfit, with the exception of his head and shoulders being a bluish-purple color, and he has four fingers on each hand, which are apparently gloved. He has nozzles or openings. He has two on both of his arms, one on each of his shoulders, three on the rim in between his shoulders, three on his head, one on his back and one in the center of his posterior. He has a belt with a window on his stomach so that the gas he uses can be seen. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on what appears to be some kind of gas mask in front of his mouth.
"Okay, I give up. Who's that?" Ghostfreak asked.
"I call this guy Gutrot. He's a walking chemical factory," Gutrot answered in a Brooklyn accent and a gruff tone, "You might want to get in front of the surfboard thing and out of my line of fire. Now let's see…"
Ghostfreak got in front of the mana surfboard and Gutrot sprayed tear gas at both of the Way Bads. This did nothing.
"Okay so you guys ain't much for cryin'. Maybe this will give you somethin' to cry about," Gutrot said before he sprayed acidic gas at the Way Bads.
The Way Bads easily managed to fan out the gas and kept running.
"Ben, whatever Gutrot is mixing, it had better be very useful," Rook said.
"Oh, it's just methane gas. I know that sounds practically useless in this situation but bare with me here," Gutrot said, "Gwen, floor it."
Gutrot sprayed a large amount of methane gas at the Way Bads. While they didn't like the smell, they kept running.
"Alan!" Gutrot shouted.
"Hang on, I see where this is going," Alan said before throwing a fireball at the methane gas, igniting it and causing a huge explosion. This explosion sent the Way Bads falling into who knows where.
Gwen landed everyone to a safe place and Swift, Alan, and Ghostfreak landed next to them as both Gutrot and Ghostfreak turned back to normal.
"Well, nothing can go-" Reboot Ben said before Prime Ben put his hand on his mouth.
"Don't say that," Prime Ben said.
Later at the portal area…
"We have arrived at our destination," Rook said.
"Great, now let me just call HQ real quick," Prime Ben said before putting two of his fingers on his com.
Back in the Null Void Chamber…
Both Maxs, Reboot Gwen, Patelliday, and Cooper were waiting for contact from everyone that they had arrived at the portal area. Cooper was tapping his finger, Reboot Gwen was pacing around, Prime Max had his arms crossed and was seemingly unfazed, Reboot Max was sleeping on a chair, and Patelliday was ruminating. Just then, they heard Prime Ben calling.
"Hey everybody. Did you miss me?" Prime Ben greeted.
"Ben? Man, what a relief, I was getting worried," Reboot Gwen said.
Reboot Max woke up after hearing Prime Ben greeting and went over to the computer with Patalliday.
"Okay guys don't freak out when I say this. We don't have Servantis, but have the rest of the Rooters right here," Prime Ben said.
"What?" Prime Max asked, "How do you know they aren't still working for Servantis even after his death?"
"I checked," Kevin said after putting his fingers on his com, "Turns out Swift and Leander were two more of Servantis' brainwashed experiments. Also, Phil is back to normal. Well… mentally. He just can't turn back human again."
"I'm still plenty human… well, up here at least," Phil said pointing at his head upon the word 'here'.
"Go ahead and fire up the Null Void projector, Cooper," Prime Ben said.
"Uh… yeah. About that," Cooper said, "It's under repairs right now."
"Wait, what?" Alan asked.
"Yeah. Apparently someone thought it would be a good idea to take out the parts for a snack machine without our permission," Reboot Gwen said.
Both Maxs, Reboot Gwen, Cooper, and Patelliday turned to look at Blukic and Driba with angry looks. Blukic and Driba then pointed at each other.
Back in the Null Void…
"Great. Just great," Prime Ben said in a sarcastic tone, "Look just get that Null Void projector fixed and up and running again. Fast."
They hung up and turned to the others.
"What's going on?" Phil asked.
"They need to fix the Null Void Projector before we can go anywhere," Kevin said.
"Don't worry, everyone stay calm. We'll just wait. We should be fine so long as we aren't greeted by…" Prime Ben was cut off when he noticed a large shadow.
Everyone looked to see the skull-faced Way Bad, who roared at them all.
"That," Prime Ben said, finishing his sentence.
The Way Bad raised his fist up to try to smash the group, but Leander fired his radioactive blasts at it's head fin, resulting in him putting his hands on his pain-riddled face.
"Alright, Omnitrix. Give me a heavy hitter please," Prime Ben said.
"Yeah. I need one too," Reboot Ben said.
Both Bens hit their Omnitrices and transformed. Prime Ben turned into Armodrillo, while Reboot Ben turned into Slapback.
"You know what, let's up the Omni-Kix," Armodrillo said before turning his Omnitrix symbol 90 degrees, turning into Omni-Kix Armodrillo.
He has a yellow helmet with a white faceplate and silver ears with yellow at the tips and small green glowing parts. He had green eyes, white ears with two black horizontal lines on them, a black line on the top of his head that looked like a U or V, and a grey underbite with a white part on the bottom and yellow parts on the sides that had black lines. He had a black body and a gray-plated chest underneath a large yellow chestplate that split down the front. The chestplate had a white diagonal part in the middle that had green glowing details on it and a patch that was yellow with black stripes. His shoulders were yellow at the top and white on the bottom with a silver screw with a green crease in the middle of the separation between the yellow and white, and a turret-like protrusion at the back-top ending in a gray drill and having a yellow screw with a green crease on the outer side. He has dark gray upper arms and his forearms were sharp in the space between the forearms and elbows and were yellow with a silver plate with screws and green lines that had Vs in them, and there was a screw and three tubes on the yellow part of his arm. His elbows had a large grey jackhammer part, each with a green detail and three protrusions at the end. He had yellow brief-like armor with a green shield-shape above it, and it had white parts on his hips and a white patch at the bottom. His thighs were dark grey and his legs were yellow with yellow knee caps. There were yellow patches on his calves that had black stripes and white screws with green creases on his ankles, along with white, three-toed feet. He had the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
"Hey, good idea," Slapback said before trying to reach his back.
After struggling, Omni-Kix Armodrillo grabbed Slapback's Omni-Kix symbol and turned it 90 degrees, turning Slapback into Omni-Kix Slapback. He was now essentially a robotically armored version of Slapback with a blue torso and legs, green and white arms with grey gauntlets underneath, and a helmet shaped like Slapback's head decorated with black and white detailing on the armor. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his back connected by four tubes, with two being on his chest and the other two on his mouth.
"Don't worry," Omni-Kix Slapback said.
"Yeah. We got this," Omni-Kix Armodrillo reassured.
Both armored aliens diverted the Way Bad's attention and the Way Bad fired a cosmic ray at Omni-Kix Armodrillo and Omni-Kix Slapback, which they both dodged. Omni-Kix Armodrillo hit Omni-Kix Slapback on the back, causing him to split in two, and throwing both of the clones at the Way Bad. The Omni-Kix Slapbacks started punching the Way Bad, causing it pain, and Omni-Kix Armodrillo turned his hand into five drills, which had the middle drill being larger and the corner drills being smaller, and fired a drill missile at the Way Bad's arm. Omni-Kix Slapback got off the Way Bad and cloned themselves again, creating four Omni-Kix Slapbacks in total. The Omni-Kix Slapbacks waited for the Way Bad to slam his hand down on them. It did so, but hurt his hand in the process. Omni-Kix Armodrillo took advantage of the Way Bad's dismay and lifted a huge rock from the ground and extended his jackhammer parts outward before pushing them back in, launching the rock straight into the Way Bad's face, before firing more drill missiles. The Way Bad fired another cosmic ray at Omni-Kix Armodrillo, who dodged the attack and punched the ground, causing it to launch more large rocks at the Way Bad. The Omni-Kix Slapbacks merged back into one and Omni-Kix Armodrillo picked him up, pulled his jackhammer parts back, and pushed them back in, launching Omni-Kix Slapback towards the Way Bad. While heading straight for the Way Bad's face, Omni-Kix Slapback split himself into four Omni-Kix Slapbacks, making the impact much more effective, sending the Way Bad off it's feet and crashing down to the ground. Both armored aliens regrouped with the others, but then, the Way Bad got back up again. Both armored aliens turned back to normal, and at a pretty bad time.
"Sometimes I really hate this watch," Prime Ben said.
"Ditto," Reboot Ben said.
The Way Bad roared at the group and fired another cosmic ray that everyone evaded. Manny and Helen got out their blasters and shot at the Way Bad, while Gwen launched mana disks, Alan launched fireballs, Swift blasted neuroshock blasts, Leander shot radioactive blasts, Phil fired an energy beam with his free arm, and Rook launched a missile from his Proto-Tool. All of the attacks hit the Way Bad, though it had minimal effect on him. Prime Ben kept hitting his Omnitrix and waving it when suddenly he noticed that it timed back in.
"Yes! Finally!" Prime Ben said, "Give me some room everyone."
Prime Ben ran up to the Way Bad and dialed his Omnitrix.
"Let's try this alien on for size," Prime Ben said before he jumped off of the island and hit his Omnitrix, causing him to transform.
Prime Ben transformed into a colossal and muscular humanoid creature, that was as big as the Way Bads, with a large blade-like fin on his head, which is red at the front and black at the bottom. He has blade-like growths on his shoulders and on his waist. His arms are white with two black straps and one fin on each of his elbows, similar to the one on his head. He also has what appear to be black fingerless gloves and red wristbands on his wrists. His legs are also white with red boot-like feet that have black bottoms and one white stripe each. He has red marks on his hips and has two green eyes on his face with two metallic secondary eyes protruding on each of his cheeks. He has three black lines on the side of his neck. His neck also has a big black area in the shape of a "T" starting from underneath his chin. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
Everyone knew that Prime Ben would deal with the situation, while Reboot Ben stood there, watching in awe with his mouth agape and stars in his eyes.
"That… is one biiiiiiiig alien," Reboot Ben commented in awe, unable to think of anything else to say.
"I know, right? This guy is a real big one. That's why I call him: Way Big!" Prime Ben, as Way Big, said.
The Way Bad fired a cosmic ray at Way Big, who ducked under it. The Way Bad ran up to Way Big, but Way Big punched him in the face and ran towards him before grabbing him by the face and throwing him. When the Way Bad landed, Way Bug ran up to it before jumping up, doing a backflip, and kicking the Way Bad in the face, knocking it down for the count.
"Oh yeah!" Way Big said before he heard a loud roar and a few more Way Bads showed up, including the one with the larger right arm, the female one, and one with a third eye and a metal helmet and metal on his limbs and back, "Oh, yeah."
The metal Way Bad ran up to Way Big and grabbed him by the head, locking it in an armlock. The bruiser Way Bad ran up to punch Way Big in the face, but Way Big ducked, making the metal Way Bad holding him take the hit to the face instead. Way Big kicked the bruiser Way Bad, sending him back a good distance. The female Way Bad ran up to Way Big, but Way Big supplexed her and she was sent falling down flat on her face. The skull-faced Way Bad got back up and he, along with the metal Way Bad and the female Way Bad, lunged at Way Big and restrained him. The bruiser Way Bad crossed his arms in an X-formation and released a red cosmic ray at Way Big, but Way Big managed to throw all of the Way Bads off of him and crossed his arms in a similar X-formation, firing a green cosmic ray. The two cosmic rays clashed with the Way Bad's comic ray being closer to Way Big, but Way Big managed to power on through and his cosmic ray went straight through the Way Bad's cosmic ray and the blast sent the Way Bad at least a few miles and into the unknown below. The other Way Bads got up and Way Big cracked his knuckles and cracked his neck.
"Okay then. Round two," Way Big said.
Meanwhile back at the Null Void Chamber…
Cooper, Blukic, and Driba were still tinkering with the Null Void projector and were nearly complete with fixing it.
"Come on already. Hurry up," Patelliday said, getting antsy.
"Yeah. We don't have time for all day," Reboot Gwen said.
"We actually have plenty of time," Driba said.
"We're done," Blukic said.
"Yep. You know, I expected them to easily handle the complex stuff, not them and me," Cooper said.
"And you're absolutely sure it works?" Prime Max asked
"Yep," Cooper replied.
"Absolutely," Driba said.
"Probably," Blukic said.
"Maybe," both Blukic and Driba said in unison, getting a look from Cooper.
Everyone looked at each other before Reboot Max said, "Well it's better than "no"."
Back in the Null Void…
The female Way Bad ran up to Way Big and lunged at him, but Way Big grabbed her and kicked her off, before kicking her in the back of the head, knocking her unconscious. The metal Way Bad fired a cosmic ray at Way Big, who put his hand out and refracted the shot. Way Big then ran up to him at high speeds, leaving a red and white trail behind, and punched him multiple times in the face, stomach, shoulders, and chest before giving him an especially powerful punch to the face, sending him off of the large island and into the unknown. The skull-faced Way Bad ran up to Way Big and jumped a large height attempting to tackle Way Big, but Way big crossed his arms in an X again and fired another cosmic ray at him, sending him straight off the island and into the unknown like the other Way Bads. Way Big went up to the small island that everyone was on and they all noticed the portal back home open behind them.
"About time," Way Big said before turning back to normal and landing on the island with everyone else.
Everyone approached the portal.
"I've had enough of the Null Void to last a lifetime today," Manny said, "Let's blow this popsicle stand."
"You always gotta be a sour-puss, dude?" Alan asked.
"You wanna live with the Way Bads roaming around?" Manny asked
"Okay fair," Alan responded.
Both Alan and Manny went through the portal.
"Well, the Null Void's exciting and all, but I prefer the excitement from my home dimension. Or at least a dimension that looks a lot like it," Reboot Ben said before going through the portal.
"I second that," Rook said
Zed jumped through the portal after Rook.
"Well, home we go," Gwen said.
Prime Ben, Gwen, Kevin, and Helen were about to leave, but noticed that Phil, Swift, and Leander weren't coming with them.
"So you guys coming with or what?" Prime Ben asked.
"I'm just not sure about this, that's all," Swift said.
"Yeah. And as a Plumber, I secretly caused havoc and cleaned it up only if others paid me to. I wasn't exactly the noblest Plumber back home. Maybe I deserve to stay here in the Null Void to pay for my past actions," Phil said.
"As do I," Swift said.
"Don't say that," Kevin responded, "You deserve to be somewhere better. You said it yourself, "This is Servantis' fault, not yours"."
"Yeah, you and Leander can come back home. As for you Phil, you'll serve your time back in the Plumber's base prison hall and then get back in the Plumber's business," Gwen said.
"That… that sounds fine too I guess," Phil responded.
"What about me and Leander?" Swift asked before looking down at her hands, "Would the Plumbers even accept me? Would they give me a second chance to do good? Maybe they won't forgive me. What if they cast me out? What if they send me back here to the Null Void? What if…"
Swift had tears forming in her eyes as she spoke, but she was cut off when she noticed that Helen grabbed both of her hands. Swift looked back up to make direct eye contact with Helen.
"Hey. Don't stress it. Don't keep getting so worried about "woulds", "maybes", or "what ifs". We'll explain the whole situation and I know that the Plumbers would give you a second chance. The X-Unit is always looking for new members and I know that you and Leander will fit in just perfectly. Don't worry, we'll all be there for you and Leander. Me, Cooper, Alan, even Manny. Manny may act tough and cold-hearted to others, but he really does care. Don't be scared. Just be happy that we want you to get a second chance," Helen said.
Swift let tears flow and hugged Helen, who hugged her and patted her on the back. When the two finished hugging, Helen brought Swift to the portal with a hand on her back.
"Come on. Your new life is just beginning," Helen said.
Helen and Swift went through the portal, followed by Leander, Phil, Gwen, and Kevin. Prime Ben took one last look back before following everyone else through the portal. A few seconds after he entered the portal, the portal closed. The female Way Bad got back up after regaining consciousness and rubbed her head before looking around her.
Back in the Null Void Chamber…
Alan and Manny stepped out of the portal, followed by Reboot Ben, Rook, Zed, Swift, Helen, Leander, Phil, Prime Gwen, Kevin, and Prime Ben. The portal then closed as soon as everyone was accounted for.
"Ben!" Reboot Gwen ran over to Reboot Ben and hugged him while nuzzling his cheek.
"Yeah. Happy to you too Couz," Reboot Ben responded.
"Great to see you all still in one piece," Prime Max said to everyone.
Prime Max then turned to see Phil.
"Hey there, Maxy. How's it been," Phil greeted, "Look, you have every right to still be mad at me, and I agree with every reason wholeheartedly."
Max said on the intercom, "Get me the medics. We have a patient with a broken arm down here in the Null Void chamber, human hybrid."
"Great to see you too, old partner," Phil said.
"Hey there, Swift, Leander. Name's Cooper," Cooper greeted Swift and Leander, "I heard from a certain someone that you two wanted to redeem yourselves."
"Yep. That's right," Helen responded.
Cooper extended his arm for a handshake that Leander returned. Swift shook hands with him after Leander.
"Great. I'll be your new team leader… slash mission specialist," Cooper said.
"That's… good to hear," Swift responded.
"Great. Don't worry. On this team, we look out for each other; no one of us left behind," Cooper informed Swift.
"I have a feeling the ex-Rooters will fit in just nicely," Prime Ben said to Rook.
"Indeed," Rook responded, "They seem to possess a great amount of potential."
Back on the Chimerian Hammer…
A door opened and Ultimate Albedo entered the room with a very angry look on his face. Khyber and Reboot Kevin were sitting at a table playing what looks to be Uno, while Regina was resting on the floor next to them.
"Hey there, Albedo," Reboot Kevin smugly greeted, "So how was your visit to the Null Void?"
"Shut up," Albedo replied, passing them.
"I take it, it went horribly," Khyber whispered to Reboot Kevin.
Reboot Kevin snickered while Khyber just smiled. Khyber placed down a card and said, "Uno."
Kevin looked back at the game and said, "Beat me again."
"So that brings our score up to… 3 against 2?" Khyber asked.
"Yeah. You're getting pretty good at this," Kevin said.
"Thank you. You aren't too bad yourself," Khyber responded.
In the Chimerian Hammer's bridge…
Ultimate Albedo entered the room to report to both Vilgaxs.
"Sir… I must unfortunately inform you that I failed in destroying our enemies… But I succeeded in keeping them from getting the information that they were in search of," Ultimate Albedo said, "Turns out that the being with the knowledge of Project Omega was already deceased."
"Good," Reboot Vilgax said, "But you still lost to our enemies."
"What?" Ultimate Albedo asked.
"Indeed. What was it you said? Your power over the Ultimatrix and your hyper-evolved intellect would allow you to easily crush them?" Prime Vilgax asked, smiling as if he had some pretty evil intentions for Albedo.
"I-I am sorry sirs. It… it won't happen again… I swear… I promise," Ultimate Albedo responded.
"You better be true to that promise. Otherwise… Well, you wouldn't want to find out," Reboot Vilgax responded.
"We have located one of the relics. We will be there to claim it when the time is right," Prime Vilgax said, "However, I'm not sending anyone after it. I'll pursue it myself and leave my other-universally counterpart in charge," Prime Vilgax said, "But for now, we wait before we strike."
Back at Plumber HQ…
Phil had his mana cast replaced with an actual bandaged and protected cast and he had opened a cell door and went into it.
"Lock it. Please," Phil said to Prime Max.
Prime Max closed the cell door and locked it with Phil inside.
"I will redeem myself when I'm free. Until then, I will humbly serve my time," Phil said, "I can't exactly use my right arm for this so just accept this gesture."
Phil then soluted Prime Max with his left arm and Prime Max did the same with his right arm.
Back at the bridge…
Both Bens, both Gwens, Prime Kevin, Rook, and the X-Unit were all on the bridge chatting after having discussed the whole situation with the rest of the Plumbers.
"So do the former Rooters know anything about Project Omega?" Rook asked.
"Unfortunately, no. I ran tests on Phil, Swift, and Leander," Cooper said, "They had no idea what Project Omega is."
"I was afraid you would say that. We might have to just find out for ourselves," Kevin said.
"But there was a plus side to this," Cooper said.
"At least we gained some new recruits," Helen said, "Which reminds me, they should be here any minute."
Just then, the elevator opened and Swift and Leander stepped out in their new uniforms.
Swift now wears a standard white Plumber uniform that still allows her to use her wings without ripping the suit.
Leander now wears a standard white Plumber suit that has been remodeled to serve as his containment suit. He also has a white helmet that is in the shape of a human head. He has more rounded ears on the helmet and a handle at the top of it. There are three slit holes on his helmet's face which glow red.
"Looking better in the new uniforms, guys," Alan said.
"Indeed. The new standard issue Plumber suits look much better on you than the Rooters' outfits ever did," Rook said.
"Thank you Agent Albright and Magister Blonko," Swift replied.
"Hey, no need to be so formal. Call me Alan," Alan said.
"Okay then, Alan," Swift replied.
"So, what do we do about the Vilgaxs and their Project Omega?" Gwen asked.
"Don't worry. I contacted many Plumbers across the galaxy and it turns out that there was one who knew what the data of Project Omega could imply. He'll be here in less than a few days," Prime Max said.
"Good. Until then… I might help the new X-Unit members learn the ropes," Prime Ben said, "I think they'll like it here."
Prime Ben smiled as he looked back at Swift and Leander. Leander was seemingly emotionless about the situation, but Prime Ben could tell Leander was content now. Helen was beside Swift with a hand on her shoulder, both hybrid girls smiling about each other's company.
