Chapter 15: Crystal Clear
Will Harangue was on stage for a public announcement. Everyone gathered were all humans.
"To all humans native to Earth! For too long the worldwide menace known as Ben Tennyson, along with the dangerous aliens coming to Earth, have terrorized the public for far too long! Thus, the Anti-Alien campaign, dedicated to bringing these extraterrestrial scum to justice, has been looking for new recruits (mainly because I'm the only member in it). The government has even been brainwashed by the aliens and the nefarious spies known as the Plumbers, and their ambassador project is a major threat to society that will allow the alien interlopers to take over the planet! So people of Earth, we shall rise against Ben 10 and the alien menaces and rid this planet of all non-Earthers so that only humans are the only citizens of the planet! So who's with me?" Harangue announced.
As soon as Harangue finished his speech, everyone started booing and throwing tomatoes, eggs, and garbage at him. Harangue ducked behind his pedestal for cover. The human population was actually okay with the aliens coming to Earth and the ambassador project and liked Ben and knew that Harangue just always discriminates against Ben and aliens to gain popularity. This tactic for Harangue, as you would imagine, is a massive failure and yet somehow he does not acknowledge that.
"Booooooo!" One man shouted
"Get off the stage, you prejudiced chauvinist!" Another man said.
"You can't just show so much disrespect to the Plumbers and our other fellow citizens!" A woman yelled.
"Aliens are people too!" A guy hollered.
"I'll take that as a maybe!" Harangue said before getting hit in the face with a tomato.
Plumber Headquarters Living Quarters…
Reboot Ben and Reboot Gwen were watching the entire announcement on TV and burst out laughing when Harangue got bombarded by garbage.
"Hang on, let's see that again," Reboot Ben said, grabbing the remote.
Reboot Ben rewinded the TV a bit to a couple of seconds before Harangue was bombarded by tomatoes and let it play again. Reboot Ben did this a few more times and they kept laughing. Prime Ben and Rook came into the room. Prime Ben was drinking from a smoothie he bought at Mr. Smoothy and noticed what Reboot Ben and Gwen were watching.
"You said Harangue was a threat to the ambassador project," Prime Ben said with a smirk on his face.
"A minor threat," Rook said, also smirking, "Then again, the term "threat" seems like an exaggeration."
"Oh hey, guys. Where were you two?" Gwen asked.
"We just went on a mission and took down Ssserpent," Prime Ben answered.
"You went on a mission? Why didn't you ask if I wanted to come?" Reboot Ben asked.
"I did. Don't you remember?" Prime Ben asked.
Earlier…
Reboot Ben was playing on his tablet with his headphones on while Prime Ben was getting ready for a mission.
"Hey Ben, you wanna come on a mission with me? There's a bad guy waiting for us to cave his face in," Prime Ben asked, too busy getting ready to notice Reboot Ben with the headphones on.
"Sorry, I'm a bit busy at the moment. Maybe later," Reboot Ben responded, not even listening.
"Okay. Suit yourself. Your loss," Prime Ben said before running off.
Now…
Reboot Ben thought for a moment before responding, "Honestly, doesn't ring a bell."
Just then, the intercom came on and the gang heard Prime Max on the intercom.
"Hey Ben, someone's here in the hanger to see you. He has information on the Vilgaxs' Project Omega," Prime Max said.
"Great. Will be right there," Prime Ben said, "come on guys."
Plumber HQ Hanger Bay…
Both Bens, Rook, and Reboot Gwen arrived at the hanger bay alongside Prime Gwen, Kevin, and Zed to see a large ship landing. This ship was known as the Resolute. When the Resolute landed, the hold opened up and a large figure stepped out of the shadows and out of the Resolute.
The figure was large and muscular and wore a shiny grey-and-black Proto-Tech armor-like suit that covered his entire body and had a retractable black helmet, which houses a teal triangle on the front. Under the helmet, the suit went all the way up to the bottom of his neck. The teal triangle was also on the center of his utility belt, and the armor also sports bulky shoulder pads and boots. There are glowing teal colored lines on his helmet and a glowing teal marking in the shape of a triangle on each shoulder pad. He also sports a Plumber badge on his chest.
Reboot Ben and Reboot Gwen thought that the figure looked familiar, but couldn't place their finger on it. Prime Ben, Prime Gwen, and Kevin knew who the figure was. Rook didn't know who the figure was, but knew he was a magister-ranked Plumber like him, and Zed didn't know who the figure was either, but sensed authority from him. The figure turned to face Prime Ben and spoke.
"Good to see you again Ben," the figure greeted before putting his right fist against his own chest.
Prime Ben did the same and responded, "Good to see you too, Tetrax."
The figure, now dubbed "Tetrax", retracted his helmet and revealed himself to be a Petrosapien like Diamondhead. He is a silicon-based life form, whose body is composed of durable pale green crystals. He also has a sharp head and a somewhat-large jaw. He looks similar to Prime Diamondhead, but he has yellow eyes and he lacks the back spikes. He also has a crystalline goatee on his chin and he has a scar over his right eye.
"So, how have your Plumber days been for you?" Prime Ben asked.
"Pretty good. I still stick to my own thing though," Tetrax replied, "I hate to break up the greetings, but I have important information on the Vilgaxs' Project Omega."
"Right this way Tetrax," Prime Max said, directing Tetrax to the elevator to the bridge.
"I still can't believe that in this universe, Tetrax is a good guy. Back home, he's a deadly bounty hunter who would do anything for pay," Reboot Ben said to his Prime counterpart.
"Yeah. He said he was like that once, but his planet blew up and was eventually reformed, and he dedicated his life to stopping evil," Prime Ben said, "Long story."
"Either way, Tetrax Shard was the first Petrosapien Plumber, and he joined ever since he heard that the Plumbers had a resurgence. He even became magister-class only at least four months after joining," Rook explained.
"Next you're gonna tell me that Hex has been redeemed," Reboot Ben said in a smug manner.
Prime Ben and Prime Gwen looked at each other.
"Should we tell him?" Prime Gwen asked.
"Just let him have this one for now," Prime Ben responded.
Later on the Plumber HQ Bridge…
Tetrax was showing a presentation on what he knew about Project Omega. It showed a blue light hologram of the Ruby Ray of Rouleau and the Shield of Seagle along with a few other artifacts. Both Bens, both Gwens, both Maxs, Kevin, Rook, Patelliday, and many other Plumbers were watching.
"Project Omega was linked to the Ruby Ray of Rouleau, the Shield of Seagle, and a few other artifacts. These encrypted codes were just a foreign language that I have been taught. I don't know most of it, but what I do know confirms one of my theories. Project Omega is about the prophecy of the Celestial Gauntlet," Tetrax explained, "I at first brushed it off as some sort of children's fable story from my planet, but based on the data one can infer that Project Omega links directly to it. So far they have the Ruby Ray of Rouleau and the Shield of Seagle. They act as the channelers of the power that the objects grant. Our mission is to keep them from reaching the other relics."
"Hey Tetrax. What happens if they do get the relics?" Prime Ben asked.
"If they get all the relics the Vilgaxs will perform a ritual to combine them all together and the Celestial Gauntlet will grant whoever wears it power that could potentially create a whole new universe… or in the wrong hands, destroy one," Tetrax said, "The only person who knows all about the prophecy and the other relics and their location is Sugilite. Unfortunately he can't be here to explain everything. He said he had responsibilities to Petropia and I respect that. I came here first because I was asked to report to you all directly," Tetrax said.
"This does sound concerning," Rook said, "The Celestial Gauntlet was a legend that my people briefly touched upon on Revonnah. If it is as powerful as you state it is, Magister Tetrax, then we cannot let it fall into any Vilgax's hands."
"I'm coming with you, Tetrax," Prime Ben said, "Just in case you're under attack."
"I can handle myself, but if you insist," Tetrax said.
"I'm coming too," Reboot Ben said.
"Alright. Come. We're going to Petropia," Tetrax said.
A few minutes later back on the Hanger Bay…
Tetrax was going onto the Resolute, along with both Bens, Rook, and Reboot Gwen. They all got onto the elevator of the ship.
"Wait, you're coming too?" Reboot Ben asked Gwen.
"Hey, I'm just looking out for you," Gwen said, "This gauntlet prophecy stuff seems pretty intense. I don't want you rushing head first into this kind of thing."
"Not needed, but thanks anyway," Reboot Ben said, "Though keep in mind, if something is a legend, it's bound to be real."
"I'll admit that some legends have truth to them, but there are others that are just myth and folklore. For example, I read some sort of article online saying that the other you has an omnipotent transformation called Alien X. Surely it's just some crazy rumor that some major conspiracy nut came up with," Gwen said.
"Yeah, that would be awesome, but what you said seems accurate," Reboot Ben said.
Reboot Ben and Gwen noticed Prime Ben, Rook, and Tetrax staring at them with wide eyes.
"What?" Reboot Ben asked.
"Have you been living under a rock, guys? Alien X is real," Prime Ben said.
"Believe it or not, I have seen Alien X in action… twice… three times, counting when he reversed the annihilation of the universe," Rook said.
"Wait, really?" Reboot Ben said with stars in his eyes, "Turn into Alien X right now."
"I probably shouldn't," Prime Ben said.
"Why not?" Reboot Ben asked, losing the stars in his eyes.
"There are some things you two are just gonna have to trust me on," Prime Ben answered.
When the elevator stopped the gang walked into the bridge of the ship. Reboot Ben and Gwen went over to the cockpit and an alien came out of it.
The alien was an orange blob-like creature with a pair of antennae on his head and three yellow pupil-less eyes with black stripes running down the back and sides. He also has two slimey tendrils between the stripes.
"Ah! Living snot!" Reboot Ben shouted.
"Don't be alarmed, that's just Gluto, my pilot," Tetrax said.
"Greetings," Gluto greeted.
"Hey there," Reboot Ben greeted back.
"How's it been Gluto? Long time, no see," Prime Ben greeted.
"Hey," Gluto greeted through his universal translator.
"Hate to break up the introductions, but we got urgent matters to attend to. Gluto, set course for Petropia," Tetrax said.
Everyone took seats.
"I assume that you are familiar with space travel protocol?" Rook asked.
Reboot Ben paused for a moment before saying, "Oh, yeah."
The Resolute flew out of Plumber HQ and into space. The seats locked everyone in a few bars similar to a roller coaster and Prime Ben put his hands up.
"What are you doing?" Gwen asked.
"I dunno. It just seemed appropriate," Reboot Ben answered.
Gluto set the Resolute into light speed and they zoomed through the galaxy. Everyone was against their seats due to the extreme speed.
"So this is what a pancake feels like!" Gwen said.
"I hate pancakes!" Reboot Ben said.
"Just think of this as an awesome roller coaster ride!" Prime Ben advised, "Also, pancakes rule!"
Just then, the Resolute slowed down and everything was in zero gravity. Reboot Ben and Gwen got out of their seats and floated, laughing as they enjoyed the zero gravity experience. Gwen swam around like she was underwater and Reboot Ben performed a somersault spin and then posed like he was meditating.
"I think you two should get back in your seats," Rook said.
"Why?" Reboot Ben asked, still enjoying himself.
Tetrax pushed a few buttons before saying, "Initiating artificial gravity."
Just then, Reboot Ben and Gwen fell down, but got back up.
"That's why," Prime Ben said.
"Space travel looks so much easier in the movies," Reboot Ben said.
The bars of everyone's seats retracted and they all looked out the windshield. They saw what appeared to be a large, crystalline planet with a large crystal shard going through it, making the planet seem like it had a large mountain, that was half the planet's size, coming out of both its north and south poles. The planet also had crystalline asteroids orbiting it. This planet is Petropia, home planet of the Petrosapiens, including Diamondhead and Tetrax.
"Welcome to Petropia, my home planet," Tetrax said.
"Been a while since I've seen this place," Prime Ben commented.
"Well you're going to see it again. We'll be arriving in about ten minutes," Tetrax replied, "I also couldn't help but notice that you unlocked the Omni-Kix function for your Omnitrices."
"You know about that?" Prime Ben asked.
"Yes. The Omni-Kix armor is a function created by Azmuth that encases the aliens in a high-tech armor that amplifies the aliens' abilities. It was part of a security protocol that was built into the Omnitrix to protect it from certain alien weaknesses, but Azmuth aborted the Omni-Kix project when people went after the Omnitrix before he could perfect the function. It seems that in another universe, another Azmuth had the time to do what this one couldn't," Tetrax explained.
"Woah," Reboot Ben said before turning to his Prime counterpart, "How does Tetrax know so much about the Omnitrix?"
"He's basically the guardian of the Omnitrix for when things go south. He once even helped me keep it from going supernova," Prime Ben answered.
"Ooh. Tell me more," Reboot Ben responded.
Meanwhile with Rook and Tetrax…
"Pardon me, Magister Shard, but I have noticed that even with your Proto-Tech armor, you are still able to utilize your Petropian abilities to the same levels as Diamondhead without tearing the armor. How is that possible?" Rook asked.
"Well you see, my Proto-Tech armor was specially designed. It was put through very extreme conditions, but unlike most models, mine has the same nanotech mesh as my bounty hunter outfit in it. The nanotech can heal the suit and allow me to use my powers to their limits without tearing it," Tetrax explained.
"Fascinating," Rook commented.
A few minutes later…
Gluto had landed the Resolute on Petropia and dropped everyone off. He had the Resolute parked on the landing bay and decided to wait until they got their information. Tetrax led both Bens, Gwen, and Rook through the large crystal city to a large crystal palace. The gate was guarded by two Petrosapiens. They both looked like Diamondhead, but their lower bodies, torsos, and legs consisted of indigo rock-like crystal which has black lines and dots over it. There were six crystal shards on their back instead of four and he also sported two more on the front of their chests. They both held a crystal spear and a plasma cannon.
"Halt," one of the guards said after both he and the other guard blocked the gate with their spears, "If you are to enter the palace, then we must have identification."
Tetrax showed his badge and responded, "Magister Tetrax Shard of Petropia. I come with the legendary Ben Tennyson and have come to speak with the counselor and Sugilite for pressing matters."
"Very well. You may proceed Magister Tetrax," the guard said, unblocking the gate.
Tetrax and the others showed themselves into the palace. They went through many awe inspiring corridors before finally arriving at the conference room, where a meeting was taking place. Many Petrospiens and Subsapiens of the surface and the underground, along with a few Antrosapiens were seated at the table.
The surface Petrosapiens were lean and thin, with square bodies and limbs. Their sharp edges are chiselled like carefully crafted sculptures.
Subsapiens, however, are much larger, similar to Petrosapiens like Reboot Diamondhead. They have wide bodies with thick limbs. Some of the Subsapiens have crystal growths on their foreheads resembling pompadours.
Underground Petrosapiens looked like Prime Diamondhead, but some of them looked similar to the guards outside.
The Antrosapiens resemble theropod dinosaurs made of purple rock, about an inch less than the size of a base-sized Vaxasaurian. They have yellow eyes, and mouths that practically vanish when closed.
At the end of the table was the emperor of this region of Petropia, Apollo Quartz. He was a surface Petrosapien wearing a cyan robe and had a green gem on his forehead.
Next to Emperor Quartz was a silicon-based alien made of extremely durable crystal. His body is overall dark purple, with several dark lines and spots. His hands have five fingers each, and his hands and face are red. He also sports six red shards on his back, the top two being much longer than the others, and two on his chest, along with one on the top of his head that resembles a horn, and two on each side of his head. His face consists of a red chin resembling a mouth guard and one large white eye at the center. He has two additional spikes on each forearm, one on each shoulder, as well as one on each knee. He now speaks without moving his mouth at all. This is Sugilite, hero of Petropia and currently the only Crystalsapien in existence, and a very powerful one at best.
While the council members were speaking, Tetrax cleared his throat, diverting their attention to him.
"Council members. I come with dire news. May I please speak with Sugilite in private please?" Tetrax asked.
"If this is dire news, perhaps we should all hear it, Magister Tetrax," Emperor Quartz commented, "Take a seat."
"Fair enough," Tetrax said, taking a seat facing the emperor.
The rest of the group took seats as well, closest to Tetrax.
"Vilgax is after the power of the mythical Celestial Gauntlet," Tetrax said, causing whispers amongst the council members, "He already has the Ruby Ray of Rouleau and the Shield of Zeagle. Now, he is in search of the other relics. The Plumbers and I need more information on the pieces of the Celestial Gauntlet and where they could be."
"I am sorry Tetrax. Sugilite and I are the only ones who know of the prophecy and we vowed to never share it with anyone. The last time it happened ten centuries ago, the planet was plunged into civil war," Emperor Quartz said.
"With all due respect, your highness, I think that Tetrax should be let in on it. He may have unknowingly caused the temporary destruction of Petropia years ago, he has redeemed himself since then and even helped me and Ben Tennyson recreate Petropia," Sugilite explained.
"Tetrax unknowingly what?" Reboot Ben asked.
"Long story, we'll explain later," Prime Ben said.
"The information has remained sacred for centuries. We cannot allow it to become open to the public again," Emperor Quartz said.
"Sir, I know Tetrax. If there is anyone worthy of this information, it is him. He is truly one of the noblest of souls and would carry any burden no matter how heavy," Sugilite argued.
Meanwhile with the others…
"Do council meetings always go like this?" Reboot Ben asked.
"Sort of. The legend of the Celestial Gauntlet is a very secretive tale from Petropia. Last time the truth of it surfaced, Petropia went into civil war over the power," Tetrax explained, "So Petropia's emperor and the government would not like to repeat past mistakes."
"I've had to deal with Serena and Bellicus every time I turned into Alien X. A debate like this is nothing," Prime Ben commented.
"I'm just gonna head out. I've gone through parent-student meetings back home at my school, and they get pretty boring. I'll be out sightseeing. You guys tell me when we get the info we need," Reboot Ben said.
"Sounds good," Tetrax said.
"I'm going too," Gwen said.
Meanwhile outside the palace…
In the outskirts of the city, near the palace, was Reboot Kevin with his face mask and hoodie up, peering from behind a building.
"I'm in position. Tennyson is inside the palace like you said," Kevin said into the communicator on his Antitrix.
"Good. I will come as soon as you occupy your Tennyson. I will launch my own ambush on my Tennyson," Khyber said through the Antitrix, "Remember to be stealthy and strike when least expected."
"Roger that," Kevin said before hitting his Antitrix and transforming.
Kevin turned into a new Antitrix alien, Savage Spider. He is a monkey-like alien with three pairs of red eyes, two arms, two legs, three fingers on each hand and three toes on each foot, black fur over a gray skin, and a furry tail. He has spiky hair, sharp teeth and four fangs, and sharp claws on his fingers and toes. His nose is scrunched up on his forehead and he has four gray spider legs coming out from his back. He wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest.
Savage Spider went into camouflage and shot webbing to the wall and swung up. He entered the palace and snuck around from the ceiling. He then spotted Reboot Ben and Gwen and crept up to them. He waited before making his move.
"So what do you think the Celestial Gauntlet does?" Reboot Ben asked.
"No idea. All the more reason to keep both Vilgaxs from getting it if people are so secretive about it," Reboot Ben replied.
"Do you think that Emperor Quartz will fill us in on the Celestial Gauntlet?" Gwen asked.
"Even so, that Sugilite guy seems all for revealing it," Reboot Ben said, "we'll have the info before you know it."
"Doubt it," Savage Spider said before webbing Reboot Ben and Gwen up and revealing himself.
Reboot Ben recognized the Antitrix symbol.
"Kevin?" Reboot Ben asked.
"The one and only," Savage Spider replied.
"Let us out of these webs you Spidermonkey ripoff!" Gwen demanded.
"That's Savage Spider to you," Savage Spider said, putting Gwen aside and taking Reboot Ben out of the webbing, throwing him against a wall, and cornering him.
"Either way, he's totally gross," Reboot Ben said.
Savage Spider drooled. His saliva dripped on the crystal floor and it caused the floor to corrode a bit.
"Acid spit? Ugh! Grosser," Reboot Ben commented.
Savage Spider then sprayed his acid spit at Reboot Ben, who got out of the way just in time.
"Time to go Wildmutt all over this chump," Reboot Ben said before hitting his Omnitrix and turning into Blitzwolfer.
He had an appearance akin to that of a werewolf. He has grey fur, a long, flowing, dark grey mane, and a large bushy tail of the same color with four dark grey fingers with black sharp claws on each hand, sharp teeth, and the inside of his mouth and tongue were green. He has a spike on each shoulder and a spike on the back of each forearm along with a few smaller spikes. His legs are double jointed and there were two toes on the front of each foot and one on the back of each foot, each toe was dark grey with a black claw on each of them. He wears a sleeveless white jumpsuit with a purple patch over each armhole with a black line separating it from the white. He also has purple pants and a black stripe going down the front of his jumpsuit, ending at a black belt. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.
"Blitzwolfer from the other me's Omnitrix? Okay then," Blitzwolfer said.
Blitzwolfer unleashed a sonic howl at Savage Spider, who jumped up to the ceiling to avoid the attack. Savage Spider fired webs at Blitzwolfer, snaring him. But Blitzwolfer used his claws to tear through the webbing before dodging Savage Spider's acid spit. Savage Spider jumped down and tried to stab Blitzwolfer with his sharp spider legs, but Biltzwolfer dodged the onslaught and held two of Savage Spider's legs in place before sending him back with a sonic howl. Savage Spider fired webs from his tail and spider legs at Blitzwolfer, who dodged the shots and caught one web bullet and threw it back at Savage Spider, pinning him down. Blitzwolfer went over to Gwen and helped her up.
"Thanks Couz," Gwen said, "Now let's warn everyone else about Kevin. We may need backup."
"Why? I can take him," Blitzwolfer said.
"Don't you think that with Kevin on this planet, Khyber and his sabertooth cat could be here too?" Gwen asked.
Blitzwolfer paused before saying "Yeah good point. I don't think the locals will be happy about a Cave Creeper, or a dinosaur, or a huge energy dragon roaming around. Hop on."
Gwen got on Blitzwolfer's back and he ran on all fours through the halls. Savage Spider freed himself from his own webbing and web-swung after them.
Back in the conference room…
Prime Ben was impatiently tapping his finger against the table while Rook and Tetrax were still speaking with everyone. Prime Ben decided to excuse himself and get a drink. Prime Ben went down the halls, but thought he heard something. He decided to check it out and turned into Wildmutt before following his senses.
Back with Blitzwolfer and Gwen…
"Alright. Now the conference room should be…" Blitzwolfer said before getting cut off by Savage Spider pouncing on him.
Gwen was knocked aside and Blitzwolfer unleashed a sonic howl at Savage Spider, sending him through the wall and into a large empty room with a stairway that split up into the overhang that bordered the rest of the walls. The room was also slightly darkened.
Blitzwolfer went into the room and searched for Savage Spider.
"You have a good howl Tennyson, but I'm the true master of sound," Kevin said.
Just then, Blitzwolfer noticed a flash of red light and went to strike at it, but got blasted back by a sonic wave. A figure in the shadows created the wave and stepped out, revealing his appearance.
He looks similar to Ultimate Echo Echo, but has his differences. He has a black head with a silver piece on the top of his head and silver ears on each side of his head. He has red eyes and a magenta mouth. He has a silver neck and a silver body. His chest has a black part on each side and a magenta speaker on each part. His shoulders resemble amplifiers and a black stripe on each elbow. His forearms have a cassette-like tape and end in a cannon-like shape with a magenta speaker and four fingers. His lower body consists of a black stripe down the middle and two stripes on each side. His lower legs look similar to leg guards and have black at the knees, and two magenta speakers on each front and one on each ankle, and he also has black feet. He has a magenta chord on each shoulder that goes into each headphone-like ear, and has the Antitrix symbol on his chest.
"Echo Echo?" Blitzwolfer asked.
"I prefer Soundbite," Kevin, as Soundbite, said.
Soundbite unleashed another sonic blast and Blitzwolfer covered his ears.
"AAAAH! MY SENSITIVE EARS!" Blitzwolfer yelled.
Soundbite was going to increase the frequency of his sonic blasts, but was tackled by Wildmutt, just in the nick of time.
"Hey, we both wanted to turn into Wildmutt. Great minds think alike," Blitzwolfer said.
Soundbite blasted Wildmutt off and took on both opponents by splitting into two Soundbites. Blitzwolfer released a sonic howl at one Soundbite, who absorbed the sonic blast and released a sonic scream that Blitzwolfer dodged. Wildmutt evaded a few sonic blasts before pouncing on his Soundbite. Soundbite split into two copies to get out from under Wildmutt and they both used trapped Wildmutt in an Echo Chamber. Blitzwolfer took notice of this and howled at both Soundbites, knocking them off, before turning his attention back to his Soundbite. The two other Soundbites went over to the other Soundbite's aid and they all unleashed a sonic scream, sending Blitzwolfer to the wall and Blitzwolfer turned back to normal. Just as they turned their attention to Wildmutt, one of the Soundbites got blasted in the back of the head by Rook. Rook jumped from the hole in the wall and fired at the Soundbites. One of the Soundbites turned into three clones, making five Soundbites in total, and one went behind the rest of the four while they attacked.
"Khyber, I may need backup. Reinforcements have arrived," Soundbite said into his Antitrix symbol before turning his attention back to Rook and Wildmutt.
The Soundbites blasted sonic waves at both opponents, sending them to the wall. But Rook fired a missile at the Soundbites and destroyed one of the clones. Wildmutt tackled one of the clones and scratched it, causing it to disappear in a red flash. Wildmutt was about to tackle one of the other Soundbites, but then Regina pounced on him. Wildmutt kicked Regina off and she turned into Spitstrike.
Spitstrike is a cobra-like predator with lizard-like legs. She has a blue back and hood and has a dark red face and dark red sides on her underbelly that extend from her face. Her underbelly is light red and she has three red claws and a red back claw on each of her four feet. Her mouth is full of fangs and she has four nostrils on her nose and a pink snake-like tongue. She has gills on the side of her red, a navy blue inner hood, and white spikes on the sides of her hood, on her back, and on the back of her head. She has a long tail and red eyes, and she wears the spiked collar with the Nemetrix on her neck, under her hood.
Spitstrike spat goo at Wildmutt, who dodged the attacks and tried to pounce on Spitstrike only to be grabbed by her tail and thrown across the room. Spitstrike spat more goo at Wildmutt. Wildmutt dodged most of the goo blasts, but a particular goo blast hit him in the gills, blinding him. Spitstrike grabbed Wildmutt with her tail and prepared to feast, but was stopped when she was blasted by Tetrax. Wildmutt fell to the ground and removed the goo from his gills before turning back. Tetrax jumped into the room and was followed by Sugilite, who illuminated the large room. Soundbite regrouped with Spitstrike before both turned back to normal.
"I would hardly believe a human child and a Panuncian could pull this off. Who is truly responsible for this?" Sugilite asked.
"Up here," a voice said. Everyone looked up and saw Khyber on a small overhang. "Tetrax. Nice to see you old friend."
"Khyber. I gotta admit, I never thought you were one to take on an apprentice," Tetrax commented.
"Precisely. The only thing truly predictable about me, is that I'm unpredictable," Khyber said whilst twirling his knife, "Note Kevin's watch and Regina's collar, Tetrax. Does it look at all familiar?"
"Not bad, for a couple of cheap knockoffs," Tetrax commented.
"I like to think of them as counterparts. The Petrosapiens are known to be one of the most durable species in the universe. Let's put that theory to a test. Shall we?" Khyber said before whistling.
Regina split into two copies. One Regina turned into the Cave Creeper, while the other turned into the Mucilator. Muncilator jumped up and was about to flatten Prime Ben, but he turned into XLR8 and sped out of the way. Muciliator turned into Whipslash, the natural predator of the Kinecelerans.
Whipslash was an armored, velociraptor-like predator with a black conoid head, a gray bone-like jaw, sharp white teeth, four red reptile-like eyes, and a red mouth with a pink tongue. She has a fairly long neck with a cool gray front and a black back, a black body with a black shell with two large gray fins, and a silver armored chest. She has four arm-like frontal legs with black shoulders, grey lower arms, black forearms, and three gray fingers. She has black double jointed legs with a blade at the lower joint and her legs end in two feet with two gray toes each. She also has a black tail with eight grey stripes and twenty light blue spines going down it from the shell on her back.
Whipslash lashed her tongue out at XLR8, who dodged the attacks and went for a charge at her. Whipslash hit XLR8 with her tongue before he could make physical contact with her and fired electricity from her mouth. XLR8 got back on his feet and dodged the electricity, which created a blue crystal upon hitting the wall.
"Sure don't want to end up like that wall," XLR8 commented before evading more tongue and electric strikes while being chased by the speeding predator.
Meanwhile, Tetrax fired laser blasts at the Cave Creeper, who wasn't affected by the blasts and fired a sonic blast at Tetrax. Tetrax created a crystal barrier to protect him from the sonic blast, but Cave Creeper rammed through the barrier and lunged at Tetrax. Tetrax got out of the way and got out a large arm cannon. Cave Creeper fired another sonic scream at Tetrax, but Tetrax held the cannon out and it absorbed the sonic scream and blasted a powerful laser back at the Cave Creeper, knocking it into a wall.
"Petropian Sonic Absorption Blaster. Used against the Petrosapiens' natural predator," Tetrax explained.
Cave Creeper got back up and fired a crystallizing bean at Tetrax, who evaded the shot and fired crystal shards that were all focused on the beast's eye.
Meanwhile, Reboot Ben turned into Heatblast and fired a few fireballs at Kevin, which he dodged.
"You wanna play rough?" Kevin asked before hitting the Antitrix and turning into a being whose body appears to mainly consist of violet energy. His shoulders are covered in rocks with sharp spikes and his head is covered in black stone with sharp points on the sides and on the chin. His arms are rather large, stretching down nearly to his feet in resting position. His arms, chest, and legs are covered in a black rock-like armor with a few cracks in it. His eyes are red and the Antitrix symbol on his chest. "Then how about some Stone Strike for ya, baby!?"
Stone Strike fired a violet lightning bolt at Heatblast, who jumped out of the way before he could get hit. Heatblast fired more fireballs at Stone Strike, who created a lightning sword and cut through them before jumping up and swinging his sword down at Heatblast. Heatblast evaded the attack but got struck by a lightning blast. Stone Strike blasted lightning bolts from his eyes at Heatblast, knocking him back against the wall. Stone Strike was about to deal the finishing blow, but then Sugilite created ultraviolet constructs of chains. The chains wrapped around Stone Strike and Sugilite tossed him around like a rag doll.
"Think you can take on the Antitrix's take on a Fulmini, Pebble?" Stone Strike asked.
"The last time the Fulmini invaded Petropia, I threw their greatest warlord back to Fulmas Prime from this planet's surface. I don't expect the results to turn out differently," Sugilite responded.
Stone Strike fired electric blasts at Sugilite, who withstood the shots without any damage and punched Sone Strike in the face, sending him out of the palace and into the streets. Stone Strike got back up and Sugilite flew towards him and the two opponents engaged in an armlock.
"Back off, Crystal Clod. This is between me and Tennyson," Stone Strike said.
"When people like you put lives at risk, I make it my concern," Sugilite said.
Meanwhile back in the palace, XLR8 was running from Whipslash, but was stopped when the predator fired a crystallizing lightning bolt at his foot. Whipslash prepared to consume his prey, but XLR8 hit his Omnitrix symbol and turned into Four Arms. Four Arms broke out of the crystals and punched Whipslash, sending him back. Whipslash sped towards Four Arms at high speed, but Four Arms grabbed a knocked over pillar and prepared to swing.
"Four! ...Arms. Hehe," Four Arms said before swinging the pillar and sending Whipslash against a wall.
Whipslash got back up and transformed into the Scorch Wyvern, the natural predator of the Tetramands. Scorch Wyvern is a large wyvern-like creature. She has four red eyes: a main pair, and a slightly smaller pair above them, a mouth full of white fangs, and she has a crimson head with spikes around it and silver horns on her jaw, her nose, and the sides of her head. Her body was mostly crimson with the front of her neck, underbelly, and part of the bottom of her tail being a pale silver. Her back, the back of her neck, and the back of her tail had crimson shells on it that ended halfway down her tail, and silver spines went from her neck to the beginning of her tail. She had crimson, armored, double-jointed legs that each had a silver spike on her lower joint and for her toes and back toe. She had large crimson dragon-like wings with armored shoulders, a silver thumb, a silver spiked elbow joint, a few silver spikes, and orange wing webs. She also has two large silver insectoid-like limbs on each side of her chest, many silver spikes on the tip of her tail giving it a mace-like appearance, and the spiked red collar with the Nemetrix on it around her neck.
"Uh oh," Four Arms said.
Scorch Wyvern tried to impale Four Arms by slamming down her insectoid legs, but Four Arms evaded the attacks and grabbed bout her legs and unsuccessfully tried to pull her down. Scorch Wyvern pushed him back and blasted a burst of fire from her mouth, setting Four Arms ablaze and causing him to get on the ground and roll back and forth, putting himself out. Heatblast noticed Four Arms' predicament and blasted a few fireballs at the beast, which didn't do much.
"Guess I can't really fight fire with fire in this case," Heatblast said.
Four Arms threw a pillar at Scorch Wyvern, who smashed it with her teeth and flapped her wings to fly. She blasted more fire and Four Arms got behind some rubble to avoid the attack.
"Okay, let's try another guy," Four Arms said before hitting his Omnitrix symbol, turning into Diamondhead, and turning his Omnitrix symbol sideways to turn into Omni-Kix Diamondhead.
He wears a form fitting indigo helmet with a white faceplate above his mouth and a green visor. His neck is protected with a plating sharing the same indigo color as his head. His shoulders are reinforced with triple plated armor; the top one being pale green and the lower two being black with a green V shape separating them. His upper arms have grey segmented armor, while his forearms have large white gauntlets, with indigo plating for his elbows. His hands have been left exposed. He wears a large chest piece, with the upper half colored indigo and the lower half colored white. The two halves are separated by two lines, the top glowing green and the bottom one being a thinner black line. His abdomen, upper thighs and kneecaps are covered by black armor, whereas his lower thighs, shins and feet have reinforced white plating. The indigo parts of his armor on his elbows and chest have a texture similar to Chromastone's skin and there are two long crystal shards on his back. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest, connected to two metal tubes that reach his shoulders.
Omni-Kix Diamondhead fired energized crystals at Scorch Wyvern that broke when hitting her and created a blue explosion on impact. Scorch Wyvern was angered by the attack and she blasted a fireball at Omni-Kix Diamondhead, who created a crystal wall and shielded himself from the attack.
"I got this Minime. You help Rook with Khyber," Omni-Kix Diamondhead said, "And if you need a different alien, just do it like we practiced back at Plumber HQ."
"On it," Heatblast said before going up to where Khyber and Rook were
With that, Heatblast flew himself up to where Rook and Khyber were fighting. Rook had his Proto-Tool in Tonfa mode and he attempted to hit Khyber with a few punches and kicks, but Khyber evaded the strikes and punched Rook in the chest twice before knocking him back with another blow to the stomach. Heatblast stepped in and shot fireballs at Khyber, who got out his sword and sliced up the fireballs. Heatblast then fired a beam of fire at Khyber, who used a plasma shield to protect himself. Khyber then charged at Heatblast and swung his sword at him, but Heatblast ended the swings.
"Nice glow stick Khyber. You direct air traffic with that thing?" Heatblast quipped.
Heatblast fired more fireballs at Khyber, who blocked them all with his shield and went in for more sword swings that Heatblast dodged. Rook set his Proto-Tool to blaster mode and he and Heatblast unleashed a barrage of fireballs and laser blasts that Khyber dodged.
Back on the streets outside the palace, Stone Strike blasted a powerful lightning blast at Sugilite who withstood the blast but was pushed back. Sugilite fired an ultraviolet beam that clashed with the lightning and went towards Stone Strike. But Stone Strike used his electro-telekinesis to lift a crystal boulder up and shield himself from the blast before punching it, breaking it and sending the shards towards Sugilite, who dodged the attack but was dealt a few electrified punches by Stone Strike. Stone Strike grabbed him with an electric whip and swung him around before slamming him down. Sugilite surprised Stone Strike by breaking out of the whip and uppercutted him. Stone Strike took to the skies, as did Sugilite. Sugilite fired ultraviolet lasers at Stone Strike, who fired lightning while both opponents evaded each other's attacks. Sugilite created an ultraviolet construct of a trident and charged at Stone Strike with it. Stone Strike broke the end of the trident and punched Sugilite back. Sugilite turned the broken trident into a battle axe as Stone Strike created an electric mace. Both engaged in a duel, clashing their weapons against each other's and after five clashes, Stone Strike hit Sugilite back and fired a lightning bolt at him. Sugilite created a force field to block the attack and charged at Stone Strike with fists encased in ultraviolet energy. Sugilite punched Stone Strike in the face three times with the third sending him to the ground. Stone Strike fired violet lasers at Sugilite, who created another ultraviolet shield, but was knocked to the ground by Stone Strike's electric war hammer. Stone Strike was about to deal the finishing blow, but Sugilite blasted an ultraviolet laser at Stone Strike, blasting him back.
Back in the palace, Tetrax kept firing his sonic absorption blaster at the Cave Creeper until the fifth blast knocked the beast out cold and it turned back into a Panuncian. Scorch Wyvern turned back to normal and merged with her clone before turning into the Cave Creeper. Omni-Kix Diamondhead fired more sexplosive shares at the beast and she unleashed a sonic blast. Omni-Kix Diamondhead created a shield to protect himself before firing a laser beam straight towards her eye.
"Thanks for the assist, but I had the situation under control," Tetrax said.
"You're welcome," Omni-Kim Diamondhead said.
"Still like the armor," Tetrax commented.
"Thank you. Hopefully Azmuth doesn't take away this upgrade of mine," Omni-Kix Diamondhead said.
"Doubt it. He took away the Ultimatrix because it was unstable and dangerous. The Omni-Kix armor is more controlled," Tetrax responded.
"Great to hear," Omni-Kix Diamondhead said before the Cave Creeper got back up.
The Cave Creeper fired crystallizing beams and sonic waves at both Petrosapiens, who retaliated with a barrage of laser fire and crystal shards. Tetrax used his cannon to absorb a sonic wave and fire it back while Diamondhead hit the ground causing a crystal construct to burst out and punch the beast in the face, knocking her unconscious against the wall before she turned back to Regina. They went up to fight Khyber with Rook and Heatblast. Rook, Tetrax, and Omni-Kim Diamondhead fired lasers at the huntsman while Heatblast fired a beam of flames at him. Khyber used his shield to protect himself.
"And they say it's the villain's job not to play fair. This isn't by any chance about what happened on Cascareau. Is it?" Khyber said, "I think I'll bid you all au revoir. Though you might want to focus on Kevin. I should warn you, he'll be a bit of a challenge."
"Why would you say that Kid Kevin would be a challenge?" Omni-Kix Diamondhead asked.
"I have my reasons. Anyway, I got somewhere less soon to be flattened to be," Khyber said before he and Regina disappeared in a flash of red light.
"Now that that's done, let's go after Kevin," Heatblast said before he and Prime Ben turned back to normal.
Both Bens, Tetrax, Gwen, and Rook went out to the city, where Sugilite had beaten Stone Strike, who was Kevin again, and had him encased in an ultraviolet spherical prison.
"So what did happen on Cascareau?" Prime Ben asked Tetrax.
"Back in my mercenary days I teamed up with Khyber to split a bounty. He betrayed me by taking the bounty for himself and leaving me at the mercy of a bunch of Moray Sharks," Tetrax answered.
A few minutes later...
The group arrived to see Kevin in Sugilite's bubble construct.
"Not sure why Khyber said Kid Kevin would be a threat. He's already beaten," Prime Ben said.
"Kevin," Khyber said on the Antitrix's communicator, "You remember that new hybrid? I suggest you use it. It'll give you a big advantage."
"Finally. I've been itching to use this one," Kevin said as he dialed his Antitrix and hit it.
When Kevin transformed, everyone backed up and he broke out of the bubble.
Kevin was now a colossal mostly gray humanoid creature with a large blade-like fin on his head, which is blue violet at the front and black at the bottom. He has blade-like growths on his shoulders and spikes on his waist of the same color. His arms are gray with two blue violet stripes and one blue violet fin on each of his elbows, similar to the one on his head. He also has white hands with four sharp claws and black wrists. His legs are also gray with a spike on his knees and blue violet boot-like feet that have one white stripe each. He has a white head with red eyes on his head with two metallic secondary eyes protruding on each of his cheeks. He has three black lines on the side of his neck, which also has a big black area in the shape of a "T" starting from underneath his chin. His arm and head blades are also serrated and there are blue violet spikes on his shoulders and hips along with a red four-pointed star on his stomach. He wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest. He was now Devastator, a Malware/To'kustar hybrid.
"Oh boy. Not this thing again," Prime Ben said in an annoyed tone.
"I think now would be a pretty good time for Alien X," Gwen said.
"Oh hush you," Prime Ben said.
Devastator roared before looking down at the group and smiling.
"It's time I showed you all just how easily I can crush anyone who stands in my way," Devastator said.
Prime Ben turned into Shocksquatch before speaking to Devastator, "Just try it! We'll take you down you Way Big knockoff! You don't scare me!"
"Really?" Devastator asked before lifting his foot up.
"Okay, maybe you do," Shocksquatch said.
Everyone evaded the incoming stomp.
"Hey! Watch who you're stomping on!" Shocksquatch said.
Devastator gave chase though the crystalline buildings after Shocksquatch and Reboot Ben, who turned into Grey Matter, much to his dismay. Many of the citizens ran from Devastator or went underground through the tunneling system. Devastator kept trying to smash Shocksquatch and Grey Matter with his feet, but both aliens evaded the attacks. Shocksquatch climbed up a building and used his electro-telekinesis to break pieces from the building and send them at Devastator, who retaliated by destroying the building. Shocksquatch jumped off the building just in time to avoid being swatted and Devastator destroyed the building he jumped to. But Shocksquatch jumped off the building just in time and landed on Devastator's arm and ran up it. Devastator tried to crush Shocksquatch, but he reached Devastator's shoulder and jumped from it to above his right eye, prompting Devastator to try to swat Shocksquatch, but he missed and only hit himself. Shocksquatch charged himself up with electricity and slammed Devastator's head fin with his fists, electrocuting him and somewhat harming him. Shocksquatch kept hitting his head fin using his electric punches in an attempt to beat him to the point where Devastator would go unconscious, but Devastator grabbed Shocksquatch.
"That tickles. Stop!" Devastator said before slamming Shocksquatch into the wall of a building.
Devastator crossed his arms in an X-shape and fired a red cosmic ray at Shocksquatch, which he dodged. Devastator then fired red lasers from his eyes, but Shocksquatch ducked behind a building that Devastator destroyed with his cosmic ray, exposing Shocksquatch.
"There you are," Devastator said before charging up his laser eyes.
Just then, Devastator was hit in the face with a missile, averting his eye lasers to a building. Devastator looked back and saw that the missile came from a Petropian tank. The tank was followed by other tanks and various other war crafts. A few jets went by and fired lasers at Devastator. Devastator stomped one of the tanks and threw another one at another. Luckily the warriors got out in time. Devastator then diverted his attention to the jets firing at him. As they zoomed by, Devastator tried to swat one. He missed one, but ended up hitting another. As the jets circled back, Devastator swatted another one and smashed another. Luckily the pilots were okay. More jets arrived along with Sugilite, who led the aerial attack, and Tetrax, who led the ground forces. Devastator fired his laser eyes at a few jets, but ended up missing, and then fired a cosmic ray at the ground forces. Luckily, the Petrosapien soldiers used their crystallokinesis to create defensive barriers to protect themselves this time and continued attacking. Sugilite created two giant ultraviolet construct fists and punched Devastator in the face with them. Devastator tried to hit him, but Sugilite dodged and hit him again twice. Devastator fired his optic lasers at Sugilite, who tried to absorb the attack, but created a barrier upon realizing it was too powerful. Shocksquatch turned back to normal and regrouped with Grey Matter behind a building.
"Man! It's like a war zone out there," Grey Matter said.
"There's gotta be a way to take this guy down. Any ideas?" Prime Ben asked.
"Hmm… Perhaps if the To'kustar hybrid were to be assaulted by a small enemy, similar to a virus or parasite, it could render him vulnerable to attack," Grey Matter thought.
"I got a small guy who could get all the way up there," Prime Ben said before hitting his Omnitrix's and turning into Nanomech.
He is about a centimeter tall at full size. He has grey skin with some green details on it. He possesses green wings. His body is a carbon or silicon-based alloy, and he has triangular feet with three long toes. His body now emits a bright green glow that completely surrounds him. The Omnitrix's symbol is on his face with four small green eyes around it.
"I call this one Nanomech," Nanomech said.
"Great, you should be able to attack him easily by entering his ear canal," Grey Matter said.
"I'll need you to create a diversion," Nanomech said.
"How will I do that? Oh wait… the armor. Right," Grey Matter said.
Grey Matter tried to reach for the Omnitrix symbol on his back, but was unsuccessful.
"A little help?" Grey Matter asked.
Nanomech turned Grey Matter's Omnitrix symbol by 90 degrees and he turned into Omni-Kix Grey Matter.
Omni-Kix Grey takes the appearance of regular Grey Matter inside a large robotic mech suit. His torso is green with white plating on the middle of his chest and black armor on his abdomen. He has large pronounced white shoulders with bright green highlights and a bright green dome on the torso and in between the two shoulders, covering his head. He has silver tubes connecting from a bit below the dome to the back. He has long arms mostly covered in silver segmented armor with bright green details that end in a gauntlet. These gauntlets have green wrists, black fingerless gloves, four fingers with silver segmented armor on them, bright green on his palms and the bottom of his fingers, and white plating on his forearms with a bright green circle with a black dash, looking similar to a Galvan eye on it. His legs are also somewhat long. His thighs are covered in silver segmented armor with bright green details and the calves are covered in green armor and the shins have white plating with the same eye-like symbol as the arms. He has a white cuff around each of his ankles, and two front toes and one back toe on each foot, both covered in silver segmented armor, with bright green soles. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.
"Now this will do precisely," Omni-Kix Grey Matter said.
Nanomech flew off while Omni-Kix Grey Matter went to distract Devastator.
"Over here, you overgrown mutant reject!" Omni-Kix Grey Matter said.
"There you are," Devastator said.
Devastator fired his optic beams at Omni-Kix Grey Matter, who dodged the attack and used his elastic arms to swing from building to building. Omni-Kix Grey Matter fired a green electric blast at Devastator, which did minimal damage. Devastator fired his optic blasts at Omni-Kix Grey Matter again, but he dodged the attack and sent an elastic punch straight at Devastator's face, but this did not phase him. Devastator grabbed Omni-Kix Grey Matter's elongated arm and threw him to the ground. Omni-Kix Grey Matter got back up and threw rubble at Devastator, much to his annoyance. Just then, Devastator was hit by an ultraviolet blast from Sugilite. Devastator turned to face Sugilite, who created a To'kustar body similar to Way Big out of his ultraviolet constructs. Sugilite punched Devastator in the face and went for another swing, but Devastator caught his fist and ripped it off. Sugilite reconstructed the missing arm and fired an ultraviolet beam at Devastator, in a similar manner to Way Big firing a cosmic ray. Devastator retaliated by firing his own cosmic ray at him. This caused severe damage to the constructed body, but Sugilite rebuilt it but was gunned down by Devastator's optic blasts. Devastator began ripping apart the constructed body to get to Sugilite but Nanomech took advantage of Devastator focusing on Sugilite and flew straight into his left ear canal, and put Devastator in pain.
"Ow!" Devastator said, clenching where his left ear should be, "Miserable insect! Out! Get out of my-"
Sugilite took advantage of Devastator's dilemma and used what was left of his To'kustar battle suit to deliver a knockout uppercut to Devastator, sending him into the air. Sugilite then grabbed Devastator by the right foot while the latter was in the air and slammed him down before disengaging the To'kustar construct and creating a large anvil and slammed it down on Devastator. He then disengaged the construct.
"Feel like… I'm gonna… barf,l Devastator said.
Nanomech flew out of Devastator's ear canal and both he and Devastator turned back to normal.
"You cheated," Kevin said.
"There are rules to this?" Prime Ben asked.
Just then, Kevin disappeared in a flash of red light.
"It seems like the chicken has just flown the coop," Omni-Kix Grey Matter said before turning back to normal.
"We'll get him next time," Prime Ben said.
Half an hour later...
Many Petrosapien soldiers, construction workers, and architects were helping with the repairs while many medics and rescue workers were making sure people were still alive. Emperor Quartz and Sugilite resumed discussing the matters of the Celestial Gauntlet.
"Sir, I believe that we should… you know," Sugilite said.
Emperor Quartz sighed before speaking.
"Very well," Emperor Quartz said before he handed them a cyan gemstone that could project holograms, "This holographic stone will give you the data you need about the Celestial Gauntlet and the artifacts needed to form it. I trust that you will not misuse the information."
"You have our word your highness," Tetrax said, accepting the stone and kneeling before the emperor, "We will prevent Vilgax's twisted vision."
With that said, everyone got back into the Resolute and flew off back to Plumber HQ.
they soon arrive and walk to see a clown octopus
"AH!" Reboot Ben and Gwen scream as Ben prime shook.
" Ha Psyche!" It laughed and morphed into a human girl who wore a black shirt with a white star and a red skirt.
"Lucy?!" Ben prime asked
Back on Khyber's ship…
Khyber and Kevin were in the training room of the ship. Khyber was holding up a few pads for Kevin to punch while Regina just watched.
"I was so close. I should've ended it then and there," Kevin said in anger.
"You must be patient Kevin. Soon we will have our prey come to us and we will strike when they least expect it. In the meantime, I suggest you work on your stance," Khyber said.
Kevin then rearranged his legs and looked like he was posing similar to an average character in a fighting game.
"Better," Khyber said.
