Hey it took a while to write part 2. There are more chapters coming up but it might take some time to write them. Anyway here's part two I hope you guys like it.
I sat on my bed, silently crying. I knew I had to be quiet or my parents would get mad at me for crying. Especially father, father says crying is not a manly thing for a boy to do. My parents were already mad at me for not winning first place; I didn't want them to be mad at me more for crying. The remains of my 2nd place trophy remained scattered on the floor.
A gentle knock on the door interrupted my sadness. I quickly wiped my eyes and called out, 'Who is it?'. Remy heard no reply.
With hesitant steps, I approached the door and slowly opened it to find a white envelope on the ground with my name written in black cursive and a gold wax seal on it in the shape of a star.
I picked it up and felt its weight; my curiosity piqued. Inside was a card with the words. "Congratulations!" on the front of it in big purple letters.
Flipping it open, a bright light appeared, and a male figure with fairy wings emerged from the card.
"Who are you?" I stuttered, stepping back and shielding my eyes from the light.
The figure chuckled, the sound as warm and comforting as a cup of hot cocoa on a cold night.
"Allow me to introduce myself," he said in a Spanish accent that rolled over the words like velvet. "I am your fairy godparent, Juandissimo Magnifico!"
