Finding himself working with both the Power Rangers and the rest of his fellow Animorphs was more than a little strange, considering how rigidly separated he'd kept the two parts of his life before. Even when he'd been forced to serve Rita as her Green Ranger, he'd been careful to keep the Animorphs' secrets. But now…
"Tommy, what is it?" Jason asked, turning back with a worried look on his face.
"Just thinking," he said, offering the Red Ranger as much of a smile as he could manage, under the circumstances.
"We might have to find a way down into the Yeerk Pool ourselves," Billy said, making his own way over to the Viewing Globe.
"You probably shouldn't," Tommy said, sighing as he looked over at the pair of Power Rangers who had arranged themselves around the Viewing Globe.
"Why's that, Tommy?" Jason asked. "Haven't you and your friends been down there before?"
"It's never gone well for us when we did," Tommy said, glancing from Jason and Billy back to the Viewing Globe again.
Jake sighed. "That first time, we nearly got ourselves all caught," he said, narrowing his eyes slightly. "The next time… That was when we met the Ellimist. I don't know why he, or they… or whatever saved us that first time, but…" Jake sighed again. "We only managed to escape that last time because of what the Ellimist showed us."
Tommy sighed, himself; he could remember what Jake wasn't talking about. He could remember what the Ellimist had showed them…
