"Welcome to another episode of Total Drama Island! After a long run and seemingly tasty dishes… With Noah getting a nice kiss, the two teams endured the excruciating pain of staying awake… while drugged! In the end, Gwen won the challenge for the Gophers, and Eva was eliminated because of Heather's start of her malicious plans! And oh, it looks like she's gaining allies. Looks like Maverick decided to snitch on Heather telling Eva the truth! I wonder what will happen by then." Chris explains as he stands by the dock, going through a rundown of the last episode.

The first shot depicts the resort in full, leading up to a giant forested cliff and zooming past Chris as he sips a coffee before diving into the water below the cliff.
Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
We see Ezekiel and Owen snorkeling together. Owen farts. Geoff and Bridgette are seen talking on different surfboards, and bubbles of Owen's fart get to the surface. A fish rises to the surface, and an eagle carries Geoff. Bridgette just laughs, mildly concerned.

And now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
The eagle drops Geoff down as it soars past the sun. He falls down a few tree branches, losing most of his clothing along the way. DJ is relaxing around animals but as Geoff lands on his lap, the animals panic and scramble all around the two. DJ holds Geoff closer because of this, and Geoff has an uncomfortable face because he's holding him too tight. Duncan is seen laughing at them but stops as he sees Courtney disapproving.

Heather is in a canoe with LeShawna going down the stream, bickering with each other. The canoe comes careening off the stream and down a waterfall, making both falls to the water below as they scream, passing by Harold as he practices a few fighting poses on a log bridging over two cliffs. Izzy swings on a vine and knocks him, then knocks on the outhouse, where Cody falls with his pants down.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way

Inside the resort's kitchen, we see Chef preparing some interesting green soup, and another cook is there as well. In the dining room, Noah is present reading something as two books are alongside him. Tyler is seen leaving the room through a door, looking at someone in particular.

Next to the pool, we see Lindsay in a floral summer dress, with Tyler being next to her, trying to talk to her. Then we move to Katie and Sadie, who keep talking with each other. Katie points towards something, and Sadie quickly follows. Then they go down a set of stairs, chasing each other on the beach.

Beth uses her fire batons, swinging one into the air. As it lands, it turns into night, and Gwen and Trent are seen together, with Trent using his guitar. Everyone then whistles in tune.
TOTAL DRAMA- THE RICH COURSE
Everyone is having breakfast in the dining room. Each person has a different plate to eat.
"Is it me, or the days are going extremely slowly, eh?" Ezekiel says as he eats a piece of sausage.
"Hm, now that I think about it, yeah man, we're always doing something each day." Geoff nods as he eats his cereal.
"I've looked into the map of the resort, and there are still lots of places we've not visited yet. The resort is in fact, much bigger than it seems." Courtney sips a bit of her tea.
"Oh, all right princess. Looks like we're exploring the place later." Duncan plays with his food and flings some toward Harold. Courtney rolls her eyes.
"HEY!" Harold wipes his glasses.
"Now that I remember… You keep snoring all night!" Ezekiel points to him.
"Not only that, you keep your soiled briefs on the ground. It's so gross, eh." Every one of the Bass laughs or recoils disgusted at Harold.
"Even I know what a bidet is, eh."
"You kidding right?" Bridgette looks at him worried.
"I've seen better in my farm… And it's mostly animals there." Ezekiel shows off a little, making Bridgette giggle.
"Man, why?" DJ shakes his head as he tries to eat.
"Hey! I told you not to tell everyone!" Harold crumples a little.
"Seriously, it's like absolutely gross," Katie tells him.
"Yeah, it is!" Sadie agrees with her.
"Yeah, but let's move on, we're eating." Courtney finishes her pastry.
[Confessional-Courtney
"Most of our team seems useful enough. Even the twins are useful too, even if they talk too much.
Tyler is a mixed bag… but Harold..." She sighs.
"Eva was a psycho, but she was also an athletic psycho!"
"Even Neanderthal can play well for now… But he's so… UGH!"]
Lindsay returns with a bowl of fruit salad. She waves at Tyler, but Heather pulls her.
"Hey! I'm just friendly saying hello to the other team! I can't do that?"
"No." Heather deadpans. Leshawna looks at her strangely, while Noah looks at the others.
"Uhm, Noah, can you pass me the salt?" Owen asks him. He just rolls the shaker to him.
[Confessional-Noah
"Owen has been following me since when he kissed me like that. That's cute and all, but he's acting like a dog, which sucks. Also, it's obvious Heather allied, and this leads to me being the one risking home the most. I have to counter one way or another."]
"Gee, what kind of sleeping pill did they give us that challenge?
My head still feels upside down." Gwen circles her spoon on her little porridge.
"Yeah, I agree girl! My sleeping has all gone wrong since then! Even with the goddesses that are the mattresses of the resorts!" Leshawna finishes her plate.
"I wonder what they gave us… It could be actual drugs!" Izzy laughs as she says that. Everyone on their team gets silent.
"I don't want to know." Cody puts his hands in front of him.
"Dear guests, the challenge will begin soon. Meet by the lounge." Suddenly, Maverick appears and double claps.
"Yes, lord." Duncan laughs as he says it again, making Courtney make a sound of annoyance. Maverick times time makes an unsurprised face.
We move the scene to the lounge, where everyone is waiting for the next challenge.
"So, let's go over the rules one more time." Heather talks with Lindsay, Beth, and Izzy, even though the latter is not listening.
"Number one: I'm the captain of this alliance, so I will make the rules and only I can change them. Number two?"
"Breaking the rules will result in the expulsion from the alliance?" Lindsay thinks, making Heather satisfied for a second.
"Number three: I can borrow all of your stuff but my stuff is so off-limits. And if you don't like this rule? That's cool, I can change it, but also find someone to bring to late-game." Heather makes Beth and Lindsay shake off any doubts about the rules.
"Izzy, are you listening?" She looks at her irritated.
"Uh, yeah, of course!" Izzy responds as she stares at something blocking her laugh.
"Okay, the court is ready!"
"Come on, it's time to bring it!" Chris sends everyone to a wing of the resort nobody's been in apparently. It's a gym containing some equipment and a court.
"Oh, dang, there was a gym here?"
"Eva would have loved this." Tyler chuckles.
Somebody whistles a whistle. It's Chef Hatchet, one of the chefs of the resort.
"Today's challenge is the classic game of dodgeball. The first rule of dodgeball is…" Chris arrives on the scene
"Do not talk about dodgeball?" Noah snickers.
"As I was saying…" Chris shakes his head.
"If you get hit with a ball..." He throws one ball to Courtney.
"You're out."
"OOH! Hey! You can't do that." She catches it and resends it to Chris.
"If you catch the ball, the thrower is out and the catcher has to send one of his benched team members out on the court!"
"Throwing balls… yay, what a mentally challenging test," Noah replies to him mockingly.
"I know, right?" Lindsay responds to him, even though nobody asked about her opinion.
"Ok, Geoff? Try to hit me!" Chris throws the ball to Geoff.
"If you have fun, you can use it to deflect other balls! But if your ball falls from your grip, you're out."
"What do I do when a ball comes at me?" Lindsay gives a question to Chris. Geoff throws his ball, which reflects on Chris's ball.
"You dodge! Ooh, you were supposed to dodge!" Chris reprimands her.
"Aww… right." Lindsay gets a bump on her forehead.
"You have one minute until time for the game," Maverick adds.
"So, the Killer Bass are going to work hard to get their loss streak away. We have to work even harder. Any plans you got?" Heather asks her team. Noah steps forward.
"Not that I'm the strongest in sports, but they're much stronger strength-wise. And besides, their strategy could be anything. I could analyze their strategy if I sit out for a while." Noah says.
"Fine." Heather looks at everyone else.
"I have an idea to win this challenge very easily, guys," Duncan whispers to his teammates.
"It's something I produced the first time in the juvie. It's called 'Rush The New Guy'"
"What idea it is, exactly?" Courtney narrowed her eyes.
The match begins. Heather, Lindsay, Owen, Leshawna, and Cody are lined up in one team, while DJ, Courtney, Tyler, Harold, and Duncan are lined up in the other. The whistle makes everyone move. Cody shoots the ball to Tyler, and Leshanwa to Harold, who easily dodges.
"OK team, NOW!" Duncan gives the signal to throw. All five throw towards Cody, who crashes down because of this. Effectively though, Tyler's and Harold's ball missed.
"Harold! You were not supposed to throw! We have to keep at least one ball in possession." Duncan threatens his fists to him.
"Gosh, I'm sorry!" Harold backs off.
"And you too. Try not to overdo it!" Courtney taps Tyler for a second. The team regains most of the balls and shoots against Lindsay. Tyler widens his eyes looking at who is throwing it.
"What I'm supposed to do with this ball again?" Lindsay holds the ball remaining in her side of the team, but she's quickly knocked out cold.
"No!" Tyler holds his hands on his face. Owen launches a strong one right on his body, making him crash towards the wall. He aches as he holds his chest, and a crackling sound is heard.
"AGH! It hurts! AGH!"
"Goodness, you okay there?" Courtney worriedly stares at him.
"And we have already two people injured. Send them away!" Maverick double-claps and servants come to get Lindsay and Tyler. Tyler opens one eye as he's dragged away to see her.
"I expect you to not get too injured. It's dodgeball."
The Bass throw one against Heather, who misses one, gets hold of one but gets hit by the others. Owen and Leshawna meet the same fate.
"Oh. That was quick. The Bass win this round!" Chris announces, making the Killer Bass cheer.
"Okay, guess the strategy worked. Harold, get out of the court, you're such a pip at throwing. Geoff, come here, so you twins. You'll replace dweeb, broken bones, and princess." Duncan leads him to the benches.
"Can I play at least once, eh?" Ezekiel, asks.
"You can get my spot." DJ points at himself.
"Fine." Duncan rolls his eyes.
"I think the other team is pointing to get the most balls, then throw them all at once on a single target. I think I know a counterattack." Noah points to Duncan.
"He must have planned that. The strategy involves for them to have the majority of the balls, so we have to keep at least two."
"OK, fine. If that's what they want, then you'll have to play and show us how to beat them." Heather pushes him, making him do a deadpan expression.
"Who's up in our team?"
"Ok, fine, but sports aren't my forte." Noah stands up.
Chef whistles as the second match starts. The Gophers have Beth, Trent, Cody, Izzy, and Noah. Izzy gets Sadie out instantly. Meanwhile, the camera pans out to the infirmary inside the clinic. Lindsay is holding a pack of ice on her face, while Tyler has a cast on his torso, sitting on an armchair.
"So, um, do I look ugly?" Lindsay groans as she holds her ice.
"You don't! I mean, you're not ugly." Tyler smiles at her.
"You know…"
"Um, actually never mind." Lindsay turns around.
"Tell me, I won't judge." Tyler gives her a thumbs up.
"I don't know… Heather would not be happy about that." Lindsay plays with her hair for a second.
"… She isn't here, you know?"
"Besides, why can't you?" Tyler moves a little to see her more.
"That's what I want to know!"
"It's like, I'm in this alliance, and," Lindsay suddenly stops.
"Oh no! She's going to kick me out!"
"She still isn't here." Tyler stands up and sits close to her.
"We can talk as long as we want to."
"So you know, I like you."
"You're cute." He holds part of her breast. Or at least he's trying to with his cast.
"I… Uhm. I don't know you much, but thank you!" Lindsay giggles.
"Heather won't let me date you, you're on the other team."
"What stops you from getting close to me when we're not competing?"
"It's not that the teams are set all week long." Tyler tries to scratch his head.
"Well... If you insist. We can see each other more."
"But you have to promise me not to tell Heather! I don't want to get kicked out." Lindsay holds his hand.
"Sure, oh sure." Tyler gets her hand closer and he kisses it.
"Want to see something while we're here?"
We go back to the match. It's Cody, Izzy, and Noah versus Duncan, Katie, Ezekiel, and Geoff. The four take Noah out with Duncan's strategy, but Izzy catches two balls and with a trick shot she takes both Duncan and Ezekiel out. She slips and trips on herself.
"Oh, crap! Now what?" Katie looks at Duncan, who walks off annoyed. Geoff shoots a ball against Izzy, eliminating her.
"Easy out," Courtney tells the two of her team. Cody panics for a second before he remembers he can do something. He spins the balls on his finger quickly and then he throws. Geoff crouches to dodge the ball, but it hits him by his butt.
"That was one very hard to dodge!" Chris comments. Then, Cody rubs another ball on his sweatshirt, creating a static on the ball. He throws it at Katie, and it follows her as she runs around. Everyone is shocked, and then Katie splats herself on the wall as the ball hits her.
"Now we're one-to-one for the match. I'd like to remember it's three wins for the win." Maverick tells everyone as Chef whistles.
"Let's keep up with our strategy, then we'll see what they'll do."
"Okay, what just happened? We were so close to winning!" Courtney annoyingly swings her arms up as she yells to the team.
"Maybe we weren't believing in ourselves enough." Harold sighs.
"You're not even playing. We'll change our strategy just a little. Start with the weakest to the strongest." Duncan points to his team as the next match starts. It's Gwen, Leshawna, Trent, Heather, and Owen versus Bridgette, Courtney, DJ, Geoff, and Duncan. The game is over in just five minutes, as the balls keep skewing towards the Bass, who use them to get each person individually. Leshawna catches a ball as Gwen gets pelted by them before it lands on the floor. It leads to Chef whistling, and Bridgette getting out as she's the thrower of the ball Leshawna catches.
"Sigh. That's a bummer," Bridgette says as she walks to the benches. Beth goes to the court.
As Leshawna gets eliminated, Beth is the last one remaining before she gets pelted as well.
"And it's one to two! The Bass are on match point!" Chris announces as he gets a bottle of water.
"What do you say, book face?" Heather narrows her eyes as she stares at Noah.
"Well, crap. They caught on quickly, or at least what I think happened."
"Their strategy is strong, so I can't think of a solid plan." Noah sighs.
[Confessional: Noah
"What is this? Is Heather throwing the blame on me if we lose now?
I'm sure I'm not going to be cut that easily."]
"And why is Lindsay taking so long?" Heather growls irritated.
"She got knocked out. Is she supposed to wake up just like that?" Gwen raises her eyebrow, as she's getting tired of Heather already.
"Oh shut it, weird goth girl."
And another game begins. Noah, Owen, Beth, Izzy, and Cody against Katie, Ezekiel, Courtney, Bridgette, and Duncan.
The Bass already throws in unison. They quickly get Noah out.
"Oh no!" Beth is caught between the dodgeballs, but Izzy and Owen can catch two before they land, eliminating Courtney and Katie, and bringing Trent and Leshawna in.
"No way!" Courtney pouts as she stomps her way out.
"Yes, way!" Izzy responds to her. She notices Owen growling before he gets extremely aggressive.
"GREAT GATSBY! HERE WE GO!" Owen throws a ball with insane strength, eliminating both Ezekiel and Bridgette together. Then he throws one dry right on Duncan's face, making him drop like a bowling pin. Suddenly the show pauses.
"Wow! That was one worth of a replay there!" Chris sets the video backward, then forward several times.
"Goodness, let me try as well." Maverick soon does the same thing.
"Uh, you might be overdoing it, man." Chris notices Maverick is spamming the two buttons.
"Oh, pardon me. Let's continue." Maverick resumes, and Duncan flops on the ground. The Gophers cheer once more.
"OK now! Gophers and Bass, let's send this sample to the lab. Show what you're made of because this last match is the tie-breaker! You can swap people as long as the number of people on the side is correct!" Chris explains as he drinks.
Both Tyler and Lindsay return from the infirmary. They're as far away as possible.
"Oh, finally Lindsay, you're here now!" Heather turns to her and pushes her on the bench.
"Stay here, you must have done something with that Gopher guy."
"I was sleeping! How was I supposed to," Lindsay gets quickly interrupted.
"They're just excuses. What are we doing next?" Heather asks Noah, making everyone look at him.
"Gee, how I'm supposed to know everything? I'll just suggest that Owen should be entering the game after we catch a ball in the air. They'll be absolutely going to target him." Noah sits down and ignores Heather, making her irritated again.
"Heather, what the fuck you want from him now? He already did enough for the team." Leshawna interrupts her as something is up.
"Ok, let's just say we're not losing this game against them. Who's going in?" Duncan asks the Bass as they circle together.
"I think it's my turn!" Harold adds himself in.
"No way! We have a chance to win this!" Courtney stops him, making him nod in defeat.
The starting lineup comprises Heather, Cody, Trent, Gwen, and Leshanwna against Duncan, Bridgette, Geoff, Courtney, and DJ.
Gwen picks a ball and passes it to Cody, who runs back into the back of the court.
"Come on, people! Quick feet, fast hands!" Heather claps twice.
It seems the Bass dropped Duncan's strategy, as the two teams launch each other balls over and over. Noah looks at them, thinking of something. DJ jumps and does a split as he dodges a ball, and so does Heather with a small hop. Courtney throws a ball as Cody does. Trent and Bridgette get out as a result. It's quite a long match, and lots of people are waiting by the benches as they swap several times.
"Knock 'em out! Throw 'em out! AH!" As Noah supposedly cheers his team a ball ends up right in his face, making him fall back.
"I guess you're right about sports not being your forte." Heather laughs at him, but she gets hit by a ball.
Sadie gets caught by a ball as soon as she gets on the court, making Duncan facepalm. Geoff decides to swap with Harold, giving him a ball.
"Back at the core, princess." Duncan shoves him back, making him sad. Gwen then throws a ball on Courtney's face.
"That's for the oatmeal on my head yesterday." Gwen raises her fist in victory.
"Oh! You messed with the wrong white girl!" Leshawna laughs at her comment.
Geoff dodges a ball but gets one in his face right afterward. Leshawna does too, and so does Duncan. Gwen and DJ throw at each other. Gwen gets a ball to her face as Cody fails to defend her, due to him being way too far away. It remains with Cody and Owen versus Harold. The Gophers cheer yet another time.
"Now he's fried." Duncan holds his fist in his hand. Harold does some kind of ninja pose as he gets a ball. The throw he does is incredibly sloppy.
"Here, uh, oh crap!" Owen almost catches the ball, but it slips from his hands. He pats Cody's shoulder.
"It's all up to you, buddy!"
Harold teases Cody to make the throws.
"Sorry dude. But you've gotta go down!" Cody launches three balls one by one, lined up at different heights. Harold dodges all three with elegance. Cody then does his curved ball trick. Harold first bends over before doing a backflip. The Gophers are surprised.
"Time out!"
"Time out!" Courtney repeats herself.
"Man, that boy's got dodge! Where'd you learn to do that?" Geoff asks Harold.
"Figure skating." Harold spits some water onto Ezekiel, who is grossed out.
[Confessional- Ezekiel
"I have picked up my nose. ONCE! I had to pull something that went up my nose."
"Finding someone more scruffy than my moment or my farm itself is hard, eh?
Did Harold even take a shower this week, eh?]
"That was cool. But dodging isn't enough." Duncan crosses his arms.
"He's right. To win this, you either have to throw him out," Courtney explains to him.
"Which we all know you can't do." Duncan carves something out of a wood piece.
"Or catch the ball. Can you do it?" Courtney looks back at Harold.
"I think so…" Harold looks at the gym, worriedly.
[Confessional- Harold
"Not gonna lie, my mojo is all off in this resort. It's like I feel so out of place, man."]
"Awesome! Then catch that ball then!" DJ smacks Harold's back, who spits more water onto Ezekiel. Everyone cheers for Harold.
The game resumes. Cody was rubbing the ball onto his clothes all this time, with the static around the ball looking incredibly dangerous.
"You sure that's going to work?" Leshawna asks Cody.
"Trust the process, trust in me." Cody spins the ball on his finger,
"Wait… what's that?" Chris looks at Cody.
"I'd rather step away now." Maverick drags Chris away with him.
"IT'S OVER!" Cody squeals as he throws the ball. The throw is a heavy one, especially for Cody. The ball hits Harold at lightning speed, he tries to hold the ball as it keeps rolling in his hands. Some actual sparks show up.
"AHHH! NO!" Unfortunately, Harold's hands get too hot, and he gets the ball striking right on his face. It all goes black.
We're at the campfire ceremony. Chris has nine marshmallows on his plate.
"You know the drill. You've all cast your votes and made your decisions. The camper who does not receive a golden marshmallow must immediately report to the Dock of Hope, ride the Boat of Loss, and leave Total Drama Island for good. And you can't come back. Ever. Get a marshmallow as you get called." Chris explains.
[Confessional-Courtney
"This was honestly a very hard decision. I voted for whoever sucked the most.
But even that was hard enough to decide."]
"Katie, Duncan, and Courtney! All here!" They all come up to take their marshmallows.

"Ezekiel, Bridgette, Geoff!" Chris points at them. Sadie anxiously taps her fingers as Katie got her marshmallow beforehand, but not her yet.

"DJ! And… Tyler!"
"Finally! OW!" Tyler quickly picks up his marshmallow, forgetting he has a cast.
"Oh, wait! That means…" Katie worriedly looks at Sadie.
"And the last golden marshmallow goes to…" Chris holds the last one.

"SADIE!" Chris throws the marshmallow to her. Harold looks at her defeated.
"Yay! Eeh!" Katie hugs her.
"Harold, it's time for you to go. Pack all your stuff and then we go." Chris pats his shoulder.
"Hold your horses! We did it for you." Maverick wears a pair of cleaning gloves.
"I'd rather let you know that Harold…"
"You're gross. Actual gross. Even more gross than the guy you're sleepmate with."
"HEY!" Ezekiel complains.
"We've found at least 3 soiled briefs. And whatever were those panties you had." Maverick throws Harold's luggage on him. He gasps as the others laugh. He runs into the boat.
"It's a resort you're in, and you should have some decency for the others."
"Bye, Bye, Playa de la Victoria…" Harold says as he frowns with his back facing the people.
