BGM: Stable (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"-And so I said to the guy: "Are you serious?" and he was all "Yeah, I'm serious! Some lady thought it was a good idea to breed with a Lynel"!"
The men laughed hard.
"What a floozy! She really thought she could tame such a beast!"
"The Minish Award goes to: That bimbo!"
They all laughed hysterically.
In the other room, Weiss was lying on the bed with her eyes wide awake. Not because of some rowdy men having a good time with some alcohol, but the fact that she had found her brother's creation and she watched him die in front of her eyes.
Of course, what the AI said after that…
End BGM
"You… feeling okay?"
"Give me a minute!" Weiss said with tears over her cheeks. "I just watched my brother die in front of my eyes!"
Whitley nodded. "Understandable. I imagine it is not easy to watch a family member perish."
Weiss felt strength return to her legs as she stood back up, wiping her eyes as she sniffled a bit.
"Now then… as you can tell, I'm missing parts of my body. The legs and lower half to be precise. As you know, they're in the other labyrinths. Once I am fully completed, I will be happy to be of service to you, Weiss."
"Did… did he have something to say to Mipha?"
"Ah, yes. The Zora princess. He actually did have something to say, but thanks to that Guardian that was about to obliterate him, he was forced to cut himself short. If only she were here now, I'd give her the message."
"I… can bring her here." Weiss said as she pulled out her Sheikah Slate and proceeded to summon Mipha.
"Yes? You need something Wei-...? Goodness, this place is absolutely dreadful. Where are we?"
The AI blinked. "Huh, what do you know."
"...That voice." Mipha turned her head. "Whitley!" She smiled as she went to hug him.
"Wait, no! Bad-"
Mipha's arms went through the AI.
"-...Idea." Weiss grimaced.
"Hmm? What's going on?" Mipha moved her arm around. "I don't understand-"
"He's an AI."
"AI…? What does that stand for?"
"Artificial Intelligence." Whitley said. "The Whitley you once knew is gone."
"No…" Mipha turned to Weiss. "Weiss, is that-"
"I wish he was lying, but it's the truth."
"Here, allow me to play what I had showed Weiss."
Mipha had her hands over her mouth in horror as she watched on, while Weiss closed her eyes, trying her best to tune out the explosion that took her brother's life.
Whitley dissipated the screen. "His message was cut short. He had something to say to you. In fact, he had written down what he wanted to say."
"Oh… did he?"
"He actually recorded his message in advance before the Calamity happened. I think now would be a good time to show it."
The AI brought up another screen, this time showing Whitley more organized.
BGM: A Quiet Moment (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
"To my dearest Mipha, if you are receiving this message, then I had just missed you. I was planning to surprise you by making a visit to Zora's Domain. I know that you're not interested in science like I am, but I do appreciate your continuous support. The way your curious expressions followed by "I don't get it" when I scientifically explain something to you is, honestly, rather adorable. To be frank, science tends to fly over most unscientific heads… ah, sorry, that didn't sound as bad in my head."
Mipha let out a giggle, as did Weiss.
Whitley then smiled. "When I had visited Zora's Domain just the other day, everyone was giving me the weirdest smiles. You had gone to Mount Lanayru to support Princess Ruby right when I came to visit, so at first, I thought nothing of it. I figured they were amused that I just missed you, but then I got more curious. …And that is when I find out from your father that you made some Zora armor for me."
Mipha frowned. "Oh, father… I told you to keep it a secret…"
"He felt pretty silly that he let the cat out of the bag and mentioned that he'll more than likely get an earful from you. I cannot blame him though, anyone would be excited for it. The Zora tradition being that female Zora propose to their loved ones via Zora Armor that they make themselves."
Whitley smiled. "I just want you to know… yes, I will marry you, my love. In fact, I was actually planning to propose to you once I found time to get away from my research. Funny how that works out. Perhaps we could spend our honeymoon over at Eventide Island? I know we were talking about that earlier. Just the two of us spending much needed quality time together."
He let out a chuckle. "I'll wait for your return from Lanayru Mountain, my love. I love you."
"Ending playback."
A tear rolled down Mipha's cheek. "I love you too, darling…" She whispered as she fell on her knees. Weiss immediately kneeling down to hug her in comfort.
End BGM
Weiss sighed. "I wonder how she's holding up…" She mumbled as Mipha had went back to Zora's Domain to be by herself for a while. Not that she blamed her.
She just wished she could get some sleep herself.
Of course, the rowdy bunch weren't making it easy for her.
"Hey, by the way, did y'all hear about something about a weirdo at Skull Lake?"
"Oh? Yeah, I've heard of that… something about Fang and Bone?"
"Yeah, apparently this dude sets up shop at Skull Lake around at this time-"
Weiss raised an eyebrow, pulling out her Sheikah Slate and looked at her map, seeing the Skull Lake. "Huh…" She whispered as she got up and walked out of the room.
"Make sure nobody hogs my bed. I'm going out to get some air." Weiss told the stablehand.
"Absolutely!"
BGM: Field - Night (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Weiss took off running toward the location of Skull Lake, taking out some Stalkoblins and Keese that got a bit too curious with her as she continued onward. She then came across a Blue maned Lynel that was thankfully asleep.
She thought about sneaking up on it and either killing it or taking his weapons, but she immediately thought against it. What if they had exceptionally good hearing, especially when they're asleep?
She continued on… and then her Sheikah Slate went off to warn her of a shrine. "Oh?" She wondered as she immediately saw it on top of a bony tower-like structure. She used her glyphs to make platforms and hopped on over to the shrine.
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Zuna Kai. By entering this place, you've already proven your worth."
Zuna Kai's Blessing
Weiss walked up to the chest, pulled out a Flameblade and then headed over to collect her Spirit Orb.
Once she was done with that, she dove down toward the other "eye" of the Skull Lake and used her Paraglider to catch her fall as she gently landed on the ground. She spotted the shop in front of her and made her way over.
"Um… excuse me…" She said to the hooded figure.
End BGM
"Yes?" The hooded figure turned around, showing his actual face.
"Mmmph!" Weiss recoiled at the sight of the man.
"Is there something on my face? Ah, did I forget to clean my teeth after eating some asparagus again?"
"N-no! It's not that… I was just… caught off guard by the radiance of this place! …Yeah." She lied.
"Aaaah, understandable!" He nodded. "It does seem a bit spooky, but it's nothing to be worried about. Anyway, I am Kilton, the owner of Fang and Bone!"
BGM: Kilton's Shop (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"And you are…?"
"Weiss Schnee."
"Weiss Schnee! Hmm… that rings a bell… anywho! I love monsters! Do you love monsters?"
Weiss sweatdropped. "Huh…?"
"Answer the question!"
"I… do… love… monsters… like a lot…?" She asked, unsure of what to say.
"IMPOSSIBLE! No one loves monsters more than I do!"
What is UP with this guy? Weiss wondered.
"I do love your enthusiasm though! So I'm going to give you this mask to commemorate our shared love of monsters!" He said, tossing her a mask.
"Oh!" Weiss caught it and flipped the mask over, immediately grimacing at the sight of it. "Wh-what the heck is…?"
"Do you like it? I found it buried in the ground somewhere! Apparently there's a rumor that this mask brought a terrible fate to some unknown town or whatever. Can summon a moon and drop it down on folks! Or so rumors have said anyway. It's probably nothing to worry about!"
"And uh… what was the name of this… mask?"
"Ah… I think it was… Madoka's Mask or something? It's been a while."
"I see…" Weiss mused as she looked at the mask. "...How bad can it really be?" She wondered as she put on the mask.
End BGM
A Cucco crowed loudly when the sun rose up from the sky.
"Uuungh…" Weiss groaned as she rolled out of bed, faceplanting into the ground. "Ooof!" She grunted as she sat up, her hair disheveled while her forehead pounded like a drum. "Did… did I drink last night…?" She wondered.
She looked on her bed and gasped in surprise, seeing a Mighty Lynel Sword and Shield on her bed. "How did I…?"
She then looked into her bag, pulling out things she didn't recognize or thought she had. She recognized Majora's Mask, but she had also pulled out:
Midna's Helmet, Tingle's Outfit, Phantom Armor, Zant's Helmet, Ravio's Hood, and a Dark Tunic that would turn her into Dark Weiss once worn.
Not only that, but she also had the Fierce Deity Mask on top of it.
"Where did I get all of this?!" She wondered, as she tried to remember what happened. Last she recalled, Kilton gave her Majora's Mask. She put it on… and everything went blank after that. Next thing she knew, she woke up and saw her mysterious collection in front of her.
She grimaced at a thought, quickly dumping out everything in her bag… and was immediately relieved that she didn't see Kilton's body parts. She put everything back in, but paused to look at Midna's helmet.
"...I don't know why, but I feel sad just looking at this." She frowned as she put it back into the bag.
She walked out of the room and toward the stablehand. "Hey, um, weird question… was I acting off last night?"
"Not particularly… though you were wearing a spooky mask, but other than that, you were completely fine."
"Phew…" Weiss sighed in relief as she paid him a few Rupees and walked outside, looking up toward the sky… and was somewhat relieved that there was no moon threatening to flatten all of Hyrule.
"Wait… why am I worried about a moon falling down?" She wondered as she decided to warp over to Zuna Kai's shrine and made her way down to where she had met Kilton, but he was nowhere to be found.
"Hello? Kilton?" She called out as she looked around. "Helloooooo!"
No answer.
She continued to investigate the area and knelt down to where she was at, using her Sheikah Slate to zoom in on the ground.
To her relief, there was no blood. That was all she needed to know that she didn't somehow kill him.
She put her Sheikah Slate away. "But why would I blank out after wearing the mask…?" She wondered, as she tried to think about it, but all it did was give her a headache. "Ugh… forget it. I'll worry about it later."
BGM: Field - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
She warped back to Zuna Kai and then Paraglided her way toward the cliff wall, landing just an edge with some ore deposits, where she destroyed them and picked up some rubies and topazes for her troubles, then she walked off, taking out a camp filled with Bokoblins along the way.
She soon felt the area get a bit warmer, so she brought out her Great Frostblade and applied it to her back to help cool her off, and splashed some water on her face with her water magic.
Pause BGM
Her Sheikah Slate went off, alerting her of another shrine nearby as she headed over… and was met with a hot spring-like area. "Ooooh…" She mused as she decided to dip herself into the hot spring, which was enough to ease her headache. "Aaaah…"
Suddenly, a large shadow covered her body.
"...There's plenty of hot spring, buddy. I'm not hogging it."
The shadow didn't move.
"Do you mind? I'm taking it easy for a bit."
Still no answer.
"Okay, what is your problem?" She asked as she looked up… and saw a Black Hinox above her. "...Oh! Uh… hi…"
The Hinox snorted before he raised his fist up.
"Aaack!" Weiss yelped, quickly moving out of the way to avoid being crushed.
BGM: Hinox Battle (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
The Hinox turned to glare at her as Weiss readied her Frostblade. "Can't we just share the hot spring?" She asked as the Hinox punched the ground. Luckily, Weiss had moved.
"Guess not…" She said as she looked at the giant eye. I wonder… She pulled out her crossbow and nocked a Bomb Arrow into it as the Hinox readied another punch, where Weiss fired the arrow.
The resulting explosion was enough to knock the Hinox to the ground as Weiss quickly conjured up ice magic and tried to freeze the giant monster. The Hinox was frozen over as it tried to move out of its icy prison, where Weiss fired another bomb arrow, causing the Hinox to fall on his back.
Weiss climbed up on the dazed Hinox as she moved her way to the face and raised her sword up eye to stab the eye, causing the Hinox to cry out in roars as it tried to slap Weiss off of her, but the arms soon fell limp as the Hinox lay in death.
End BGM
"Honestly, what did I ever do to him?" She wondered, then noticed a Drillshaft on his necklace as she pulled it out and looked at it. "Well, could be useful." She said as she hopped off the corpse and walked up to the rock tower.
"I guess the Shrine is up top." She said as she found a hole that had wind blowing out of it as she jumped in and used her Paraglider to glide her way to the top.
BGM: Death Mountain Shrine (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
As she got to the top, she saw the Shrine that the slate had alerted her to, but was also occupied by a Goron sitting at the entrance. "Hmm…?" She wondered as she approached the Goron. "Um, excuse me, mister Goron sir… I was wondering if you could let me pass."
"Ha! No can do, little lady! Not unless you prove yourself!"
"...Over what?"
"Over what? Do you know where you are? You are at Gut Check Rock! Where only the hard core folk come here to get RIPPED AND SHREDDED! You don't look like you have muscle on you, string bean! This place is where Goron boys become Goron MEN, sister!"
Weiss sweatdropped. Oh goddess, don't tell me I'm speaking to an exercise nut… "Riiiiiight, well, can you move so-"
"I AIN'T MOVING A MUSCLE, SISTER! Not a single, well defined muscle! This is a special platform! Sacred even! Only real Goron men, as decided by us three Goron Blood Brothers, are allowed!"
…This guy for real?
"Although… you look like you're a woman of action. Almost like you have a Goron air about ya. I like it!"
…Please tell me my father wasn't an exercise obsessed Goron… Weiss hoped.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITIN' FOR, SISTER? GET TRAININ'! If you can clear our hardcore training program, I'll move!"
"Um… count me in… bro… ther?"
"Good answer, sister! We're gonna shred ya to pieces, little gal! Prepare your tiny self!"
Yup, I'm screwed…
"Alright, let me explain the rules here, little sister. It's as simple as a deadlift! All you gotta do is start from the bottom at this rock and climb your way to the top within three minutes. HOWEVER, you must collect a certain number of Rupees too. A hundred Rupees, to be exact! And don't think of using the wind to help you out. Real bros and sisters don't cheat!"
"Okay-"
"And if you don't make it within the time limit, you're gonna need to give all the Rupees you collected back to me."
"HUH?!"
"That's life, sister! We're gonna push you to your limits! Your physical, mental and emotional states will be in overdrive! Oh, and the entry fee to this is twenty Rupees. No pay, no stay!"
"Oooookay…" Weiss handed over the twenty rupees.
"Awesome, little sister! Let the Gut Check Challenge… BEGIN!"
Several Rupees collected in two minutes and thirty seconds later…
"Well done, little lady! You passed! Congratulations, you're officially the fourth member of the Goron Blood Brothers! …Although, now it'd be Goron Blood Brothers and sister… eh, we'll work it out! Feel free to use this how you see fit!" He said and walked off.
"Hah… hah… you're a PSYCHO!"
"Psychotically FIT, sister!"
Weiss groaned as she caught her second wind and walked over to the shrine, activating it and hurried on in.
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Gorae Torr. By entering this place, you've already proven your worth."
Gorae Torr's Blessing
"I'm so hitting the hot springs again…" She said as she walked to the chest and pulled out a Great Frostblade, then headed over to collect her Spirit Orb.
And then went over to the hot springs to relax her muscles for a few minutes.
End BGM
Once she was done, she walked away from the Gut Check Rock and went around it to climb toward Death Mountain, where it was starting to get really hot.
"Phew…" Weiss wiped the sweat from her forehead. "I dunno if I'm still sweating from that challenge or if it's getting hotter by the second. Eh… I'm sure it won't be too bad."
At that moment, her skin started to sizzle. "Huh…? Ow… ow! That hurts… ow!" She yelped as she got closer to Death Mountain, and by the time she got to a lake of lava, her skin was burning and her clothing was on fire.
"Gah!" She yelped as she used her Water Magic to extinguish herself… but that could only do so much as the water evaporated, forcing her to quickly get the heck out of there and teleported back to the stable.
BGM: Stable
"Mmmm…" Weiss used some ice magic to cool herself off. "Haaaah… well, that stinks…"
"Trying to cool off?" A voice asked as she saw Roman approaching.
"Oh hey Roman… yeah, I'm trying to cool myself down after getting burned from excessive heat and-"
"Ah, say no more. I know the perfect spot for you to go to."
"Hmm?"
"The Thundra Plateau at Hyrule Ridge. There, you'll find a lot of Dragonflies known as Cool Darners. They'll protect you against the heat in no time, though I highly suggest mixing in some monster parts. That way, you can make an elixir that will cool you off against the heat."
"Really? Thank you! …Where's Hyrule Ridge?"
"Hmm? Well, I thought for sure you'd know-"
"Well, I… have amnesia." Weiss admitted. "I think I hit my head on something that caused me to lose my memory."
"Ooooh, that'll do it. I don't think I have anything that can bring memories back." Roman admitted before showing her a map. "Alright, so central Hyrule is right there… and that's where the Ridgelands are at. Thundra Plateau is within this vicinity over here."
"Oh! Thank you so much."
"You're welcome." Roman patted her on the back as Weiss took off running. "Oh! And watch out for Guardians! They're crawling all over Hyrule Fields!"
"Got it!" Weiss said as she looked into her slate, finding Wahgo Katta's shrine and warping herself over to there.
End BGM
BGM: Field - Day
Weiss looked straight ahead toward Central Tower. With a nod, she took off running, mowing down any enemy with arrows that got in her way, cutting through Hyrule Fields.
She immediately saw a Guardian nearby as she quickly dove down to hide in the tall grass as the Guardian moved its head and walked toward her.
Sure, she could nail it in the eye with an Ancient Arrow, but hiding in the tall grass seemed like a good idea too. She army crawled toward the tower as the Guardian moved around. She heard the Guardian get closer, yet it didn't spot her as it continued to survey the land.
It walked forward, completely unaware of Weiss as it walked over her, where she was right underneath it.
Crap! I'm so close… Weiss thought as she lay perfectly still as the Guardian looked around and then moved the other way… where one of its legs touched down on Weiss, but the Guardian thought nothing of it, thinking it was only a small rock.
"Ow…" Weiss winced as she turned her head to see the Guardian moving away. "Phew…"
She quickly crawled away toward some ruins only to stop. She peeked over some blades to see a road that would give away her position, but there was also tall grass on the other side of the road.
Bad news? A Guardian was patrolling the ruins as it made its way over to Weiss, forcing her to back up. She glanced over at a rock on the ground as she picked it up… only to have a Korok come out.
"Yahaha! You fou- mmmph!" Weiss put her hand over his mouth in a panic.
"Shhhhh!" She shushed him, closing her eyes and praying that the Guardian didn't hear it… which thankfully, it didn't.
"Oh, playing hide and seek with that robot?" The Korok asked.
"Yes. And I do not want to be found." She picked up the rock and threw it toward the ruins, unaware of the Korok putting a Korok Seed into her bag.
The rock hit a small building, alerting the Guardian as it moved over… but it also alerted a Moblin as it curiously walked over to it, picked up the rock and with a shrug, tossed it behind him… which smacked into the Guardian's eye, which, in turn, caused it to glare at the Moblin.
"Hmhmhmhm~" Weiss hummed as she army crawled toward the tower after distracting them. An explosion made her jump as she turned around to see smoke rising into the sky. "Ha. You shot a rock. What a moron."
Once she felt she was in the clear, she made a run for the Central Tower… only she was met with a reticle as she turned her head to see a decayed Guardian aiming at her… and got immediately destroyed when she parried the laser back at it.
She climbed the tower and then proceeded to activate it, where the Sheikah Slate opened up more of its map for her. She nodded in approval and turned her sights toward the Ridgeland Tower.
She jumped off and glided her way down, only to have a Decayed Guardian aim at her. She dropped down and fired a couple of Bomb Arrows to destroy the Guardian, then she pulled out her glider again and glided her way down safely.
She cut through the river and made her way toward the tower… but when she got there, she saw the tower was surrounded by a moat… and was also crawling with Electric Lizalfos and Wizzrobes.
"Hmmm…" Weiss rubbed her chin before an idea came to her. Ice formed at her feet as she took a step on the water, where it immediately froze. She grinned and ice skated toward the Tower, freezing the area around her including some unlucky Lizalfos. She did a a three sixty jump and shot some Wizzrobes in the face with some Ice Arrows before latching onto the tower and climbed her way up, and then proceeded to activate the tower.
Once her Sheikah Slate filled in the map, she turned her attention toward the Thundra Plateau… which was already in the middle of a thunderstorm. "Wow, he wasn't kidding about it being "Thundra"."
She hopped down, landing on the ground after gliding her way down and then walked down the cliff, while also being in awe over the tree formations.
"You have reached this land of thunder, I present you with a trial. When the four spirits have been settled in their proper places, they will guide you to the hero's trial."
"Ooookay." Weiss nodded as she walked toward the center platform, using some glyphs to get her up as she walked toward the center, seeing a colored orb in one of the pillars as she went to get a closer look at it.
She then looked at the colors on the statues, getting an idea of what she had to do and then went right to work as a lightning bolt slammed into the ground near her. "...Okay. New plan." She said as she put her Hylian Shield and crossbow into her bag for the time being, and then went right to work.
On two of the statues, she used Stasis and swung her weapon to get two colored orbs to sail over toward the platform and then made her way to the next one, resting on a small cliff that she used stasis on and sent it flying over once she hit it a few times.
She then made her way over to the platform and put the colored orbs into the statues, which in turn, caused the Shrine to rise up from the ground.
"Perfect!" She smiled and went into the Shrine to warm herself up.

Weiss folded her arms, looking at all the breakable blocks of concrete in front of her. "Welp…" She summoned a Remote Bomb. "They're not gonna be blowing up themselves."
Several blown up rocks later…
"Hmhmhmhm~" Weiss hummed as she collected an opal from a chest, along with some Rubber Armor that she put on, then she used some glyphs to move her way up, practically ignoring the metal block on the ground as she collected her Spirit Orb.
"Alright! Time to face this thunderstorm head on!" She declared…

Resume Field - Day BGM
"...Huh?" She wondered as she looked around, narrowing her eyes in disbelief. "Okay, now I probably just look stupid in this."
She switched back to her Guardian Armor, still keeping her circlet on her forehead. "Alright… where to find those dragonflies?"
She hopped off the platform and into the tall grass, slowly sneaking around until she found a few Cold Darners buzzing around and minding their own business. One by one, she snagged them… but a few occasionally flew away from her.
"Gotcha!" Weiss said. "Now then… where to find the monster parts…"
She turned to a small Bokoblin camp nearby, where she nocked a Bomb Arrow into her crossbow and fired, sending them all flying as Weiss walked over to one of them. "Sorry about this, going to need some of your guts…"
A few gruesome moments later…
Weiss washed her hands in the marsh before teleporting back to Akkala Tower, then turned around toward the southwest, rubbing her chin in thought. "I wonder what's over there…" She wondered as she glided away out of curiosity.
And as she did, her Sheikah Slate went off indicating that there was a shrine nearby… and she would also see a stable nearby as well. She smiled and went over to the shrine, firing an arrow at an Electric Wizzrobe to knock it down as she went into the shrine.
BGM: Shrine
"To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Mo'a Keet. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer this trial."
Metal Makes a Path
"Wait… lava?!" Weiss said in surprise, seeing that there was lava in the shrine. "That's a bit excessive!"
A boulder rolled down a ramp, where Weiss used stasis on it and snuck past it as she ran up the ramp and looked to the left, seeing a never ending line of boulders rolling into the lava. To her right was a metal ball that kept regenerating every time it fell into the lava.
"Aha!"
Weiss used Magnesis to stop the metal ball… only to get curious and walked off the ramp after she put the metal ball at a safe place, where she found a treasure chest and pulled out a Knight's Broadsword.
She then turned around, grabbed the metal mall and with the power of Magnesis, she pushed her way up, pushing the rolling boulders up the hill until they all rolled around the shrine at the end. She then collected her Spirit Orb in satisfaction.
End BGM
Weiss walked out and started to head over to the Foothill Stable, where her Sheikah Slate started to alert her of another shrine ahead of her. "Huh? …Okay, first things first."
She walked toward the shrine, climbing over rocks and try to figure out where it could be. She scratched her head and wondered where it was pointing her towards. "Seriously… where is it?" She wondered as she looked around, wondering if Death Mountain's heat was affecting it.
She lightly tapped it as she continued to move it around, only it was pointing her in the direction toward the shrine at a certain point.
"Is this thing busted?" She wondered as she started to walk, only to trip and fall but she used her paraglider to catch her fall… and landed on top of something metal.
"Huh?" She looked down, seeing she landed on top of the shrine. "Oh!"
She hopped down and activated it, and then walked in.

Passing the Flame
Weiss looked around at the many dry leaves that were just asking to get burned. "Hmm…" She nocked a Fire Arrow into her crossbow and started firing at the leaves, burning everything until she found a way through.
She crawled through it and continued to burn everything with her Fire Arrows, revealing a hidden chest as she opened it up… and pulled out a Cobble Crusher. "What the heck is…?" She wondered to examine it. "Huh, cool."
She put it away and hopped off, continuing to burn things until she dropped a key from the fire and used Magnesis to pull it toward her and then unlocked the door, then moved toward the chest that had fallen, pulling out a Ruby for her troubles.
She then turned around and burned up the boxes to make a ramp fall to the ground and then headed on up to get her Spirit Orb.

BGM: Stable
Weiss warped over to Mo'a Keet's shrine and then headed over to the Stable, expecting to see one of the four she would occasionally bump into at one of the stables, but to her surprise, it was just a few random Hylians minding their own business.
"Huh, guess they don't want to be around Death Mountain. Not that I blame 'em." She said as she found a cooking pot and proceeded to cook up some elixirs with what she had, conjuring up Heat Proof Elixirs.
End BGM
BGM: Field - Day
"Perfection~!" She smiled as she downed the first elixir, shuddering at the taste. "Blegh!" She cringed before forcing the rest of it down, then she put the empty bottle away.
"Alright. I feel a lot cooler than I usually am! Let's go to Death Mountain!" She said as she ran up ahead with a smile on her face. She passed by the natural hot spring that was Lake Ferona as she spotted some Fire Keese coming toward her, which she extinguished immediately with her ice magic and then was immediately greeted by a Guardian approaching her… and was promptly destroyed when an Ancient Arrow hit it in the eye.
She walked over to pick up the parts after it exploded and then continued on, throwing ice magic at Fire Chu Chus and Fire Keese, eager to go into Death Mountain in determination.
…And caught fire the moment she got way too close.
"GAAAAH!" She yelped as she turned around and used water magic to extinguish herself. "Seriously?! Did I not use enough?"
"You used the wrong elixir." A voice said as she turned to see a woman approach her… but this was no ordinary woman.
This woman had black hair that covered one of her eyes, her clothing was a fire red dress… but her legs were scaly and Lizalfos like, in fact, her right arm was a Lizalfos arm as well. She even had a tail to boot.
"You need a Fire Proof Elixir to get through here. Luckily, I'm immune."
"Um… who are you?"
"Oh me? I'm just a wandering huntress walking through Hyrule, though I'm visiting my home right now. The name's Cinder."
"Weiss Schnee."
"Schnee? Hmm… fascinating…" She mused.
"Soooo uh… what's with the Lizalfos get up?"
Cinder groaned. "It's embarrassing."
"Lizalfos costume that… partially melted?"
"I wish!"
Weiss's eyes widened. "So… wait… then that means-"
"That apparently you can actually mate with a Lizalfos because no one was into you and you both get drunk and a horrid abomination is born into the world? Yes. I am that abomination. "
Weiss's face turned green, gagging. "I think I'm gonna be sick…"
"Wouldn't be the first time someone got sick because I told them-"
Cinder immediately noticed Weiss puking over the cliff.
"-Huh… faster than usual." She mused as Weiss splashed herself with water magic and looked toward Cinder in horror.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" She yelled.
"That's usually the response I get." Cinder said. "Don't feel too bad about it, I've left my original home a long time ago in Hyrule. I hang around here since I'm part Fire Lizalfos, and I'm immune to the heat."
She pulled out a bottle of Fireproof Elixir and tossed it to Weiss. "Here, drink this. It'll help you be immune to the heat of the volcano until we can get you a fireproof outfit."
"Thanks." Weiss downed it.
"So, any reason why you're here?"
"I come to put a stop to the Divine Beasts."
"You mean that big ass lizard wandering around the volcano? …This I gotta see." Cinder chuckled.

BGM: Death Mountain (The Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds)
"Let's go." Weiss said as the two went off together. "Soooooo… I've got a few questions-"
"No, I don't shed. Yes, I can breathe fire. NO, I do not eat insects… not after that one time, no, I do not have a long lizard tongue and no, I do not have a Lizalfos eye that my hair is hiding, I just have really long bangs."
Weiss sweatdropped. "You've heard it all before?"
"Yes. And you get tired of it pretty fast." Cinder mumbled as they walked through a Bokoblin and Moblin camp as Weiss went toward the Eldin Tower, both of them destroying the monsters with Cinder launching arrows from her bow.
"Nice bow you got there." Weiss said.
"Thank you. It's a fusion of iron and glass. You can thank the blacksmith for that." She said as Weiss started to climb the tower. "And what are you doing?"
"Going to activate the tower!"
"Activate the tower…? Please, there's nothing really interesting about tha-"
She paused, witnessing the tower activating.
"Huh! How about that…" She mused as Weiss gently descended after she got more of the map installed into her Sheikah Slate. "How did you do that?"
"Sheikah Slate!"
"The Sheikah… what now?" Cinder sweatdropped.
"Don't worry about it." Weiss walked off with Cinder, both of them avoiding a Guardian that was wandering around as they ducked underneath a cavern.
"I'd be careful if I were you… there's a Talus lurking here."
"What's a Talus, anyway?" Weiss wondered…

…And right on cue, magma rocks started to move.
BGM: Talus Battle (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
"What the…?!" Weiss said as the magma rocks rose from the ground.
"That would be a Talus!" Cinder exclaimed as an Igneo Talus rose up from the ground.
"It's… it's huge!"
"You never battled one before?"
"Nope!"
"Well, consider this your first fight with it!"
The Igneo Talus threw its entire arm at Weiss, where she barely avoided the attack as Cinder quickly made flanked her way around until she found the ore deposit in the back. She aimed her bow and fired a glass arrow, but the Talus turned around and tried to punch Cinder, forcing her to get out of the way.
"Guess it knows that trick…"
I wonder…
Weiss pulled out an Ice Arrow and fired at the boulder, causing the Igneo Talus to extinguish and fell to the ground in a daze.
"Ha!"
"Hurry, the Ore Deposit! That's it's weakness!"
"Okay!" Weiss ran over and climbed the Talus, pulling out her Cobble Crusher and started swinging… until the Talus got back up and bucked Weiss off of it as it quickly reignited. "Nnngh!"
"They're tricky to deal with."
"I've noticed…"
Suddenly, a large hammer came crashing down and slammed into the Igneo Talus, causing it to fall over.
In an instant, a fully armored figure came crashing down, slamming on the Talus and kicked the hammer into the air as the figure jumped up and grabbed the hammer.
"VALKYRIE SMASH!"
The armored figure swung the Hammer down into the Talus, destroying the Ore Deposit as the magma rock monster fell into the ground, breaking apart until it was nothing but lava rock pebbles.

"Whoa… who's that?"
"That would be the blacksmith."
"Hi Cinder~!"
"Hey doofus."
"Who's your friend?"
"I'm Weiss Schnee. And you are?"
The figure took off her helmet.
"Nora Valkyrie, pleasure to meet ya~! The best blacksmith Goron City has to offer!"
"Despite her armor, she's also immune to the heat."
"Really? Is she part Lizalfos too?"
"Pfft, naaaaaah! One night when I was little girl, I saw a shooting star and wished that I would be immune to the extreme heat in Death Mountain. Next thing I know, said shooting star comes barreling towards me and slammed into my head. When I came to, I realized I wasn't burning up from the extreme heat. Wahoo!"
"...What?"
"Oh! Let me break it down for you. Got hit in the head by a shooting star, didn't die. Craaaazy Thursday…"
Weiss sweatdropped. "That still doesn't- never mind…"
"One thing you oughta know about Nora… you just roll with it." Cinder said.
"Um… yeah, I gathered." Weiss said. "So, I take it that's your blacksmithing armor?"
"The Flamebreaker armor? Yeah, I've made plenty. Heck, come by my shop and I'll see if I can't whip something up for ya."
"Ah, cool. And your weapon is…?"
"Ah, this? It's the Megaton Hammer! Wielded by the great Darunia eons ago!" Nora grinned. "Now come on, let's go to Goron City. Oh, and watch your head."
"My head? For what?" She wondered as she collected the gems from the Talus, and as they continued on, there was an explosion.
"Heads up!" Nora said as Weiss looked up, seeing lava rocks raining down.
"Ack!" She yelped, using her Hylian Shield to block the fire rain while Nora batted away the fire rocks.
"It seems Vah Rudania's acting up again." Cinder said, having taken cover.
"Guess we need the heavy artillery again." Nora said as they walked off ahead.
They're acting like that this is normal for them! Weiss thought.
"Weiss, you coming?" Nora asked.
"O-oh! Right." Weiss nodded and went off with the duo to Goron City.
When Wyvern suggested "I got an idea for Cinder. She's a Fire Lizalfos hybrid when her mother and Fire Lizalfos father got drunk one day!" and I went "...That's wild. Let's do it!"
