I went to Strider's meetup the other day and have been watching for news of him ever since.(He's a great, down-to-Earth guy and really good to fans). Anyway, he was supposed to be at that charity event for the victims of that Elite Tinkertech fiasco a while back yesterday but didn't show. He didn't seem like the type to dip on a charity event. Anyone know where he is?

Ignoring Frank for the sake of my sanity, I think I'm with RunningMan on this. It isn't like Strider can't just warp back whenever he wants. He propbably just slept through an alarm or something. Timezones must be hell when you can be on the other side of the world in an instant.

I'm probably gonna catch heat for this, but I have a serious issue with the BS the brass tried to pull with Canary's trial. Word is the Elite sprung her with a new cape by the name of Stringent. He used some teleportation ability to get into her cell and transport them both out. They're trying to keep Stringent hush hush because they think people will bargain with the Elite to get out of sentencing with his help, but idgaf anymore because Canary didn't deserve what she got. Gotta go get chewed out by my boss now.

Buckle up boys and girls, this one is a little... Well, you'll see.
All of you know that I have various sources throughout the city that supply me with info that I can then supply to you. I got three calls this morning from different people, and they all said the same thing. The E88, you all know our resident nazi infestation, held a rally a couple nights ago. There weren't any bloodings or any of their more torturous practices from what I've been able to turn up. It was just a standard rally where they preached their doctrine and all that jazz. Where it gets interesting is what happened after. Apparently the Protectorate found the location and were able to turn up blood samples from several individuals.
'But, Bagrat, oh wise and knowledgeable sage?' I hear you say. 'Didn't you say this wasn't a blooding rally?' I'm getting there.
We all know the Empire puts up videos and pictures of their 'rituals' for propaganda purposes.(No I will not link it, you sickos. We all know where to look if you're really that screwed in the head.)
Half of the Empire's cape roster has been missing for a couple days now. Their other capes have been out in FORCE, almost like they're projecting strength. A source in the Empire tells me everyone is panicking because their cape presence disappeared overnight. That plus the blood... Well, I can't say anything for sure. Maybe Kaiser just took them to Europe or something. All I know is that the Empire is reeling right now. Everyone bunker down, because we might be in for another gang war.

Guys! It's worse than a gang war! A guy in the Empire goes to my school. I overheard him talking to his cronies and they were saying something about this blonde kid getting to meet Kaiser permanently after the meeting. That was the last time anyone saw Kaiser! There's a new cape in town that can take out half of the capes in the Empire AT THE SAME TIME! We need to call the Triumvirate!

A Parahuman Villain by the name of Oberon has recently surfaced in China. Oberon, known in North America and beyond for his gruesome rise to power and murder of many beloved heroes including Eidolon, has kept a low profile since defeating the Triumvirate. Oberon emerged recently in the CUI dueling the internationally feared Yangban, presumably to gather more power. Like the Faerie Queen Glaistig Uaine(Details of the Faerie Queen's reign of terror can be found [HERE]) before him, Oberon is able to summon the ghosts of parahumans he has killed in the past. It is this reporter's belief that he attacked the Yangban seeking more parahumans to kill to fuel his power.

What Jimmy said. Anyone have something more tangible on what happened? We know Oberon engaged some elements of the Yangban and a street got wrecked, but 'unknown' is not a good measure of how many casualties the fight had.

Anyone who follows me knows I've been on some diplomatic missions before. The Yangban are awful, but there wasn't anything we could do because they had some cape somewhere that let them share powers with each other. I think Oberon was after whoever that cape is. If Oberon is able to link his powers together… God help us all.

The silver knights are from Crusader. He was a member of the E88(Brockton Bay nazi gang) before Oberon killed him along with half the E88's other members. But Crusader never was able to summon that many.

It's the same as their plan for the S9(a group who have been silent for a while, and now we know why because Oberon somehow has access to Shatterbird, Burnscar, Siberian...He killed and 'courted' them) The PRT and Protectorate is going to be reactive to everything he does and more or less let him reign with impunity. We all need to start working on our groveling, because that child is going to be running things soon.

When Hero, Eidolon, Alexandria and Legend fought the Siberian, Hero died and there was that rumor that Alexandria was somehow injured.
When Oberon fought the Triumvirate, Oberon won and Eidolon died. Now Oberon has Eidolon and Siberian both in his 'court', and can summon MULTIPLE SIBERIANS!

Think about it. This guy gets stronger with each cape he kills. Why would the Protectorate want to incentivize more capes to go fight him after he killed Eidolon? All that will accomplish is wasting lives and making Oberon even more of a threat. He's an enemy that you flee on sight.

No, you didn't read the thread title wrong. No, this is not a late April Fool's post. Let me say it again...
OBERON IS IN THE BIRDCAGE!
Chief Director Rebecca Costa-Brown is going to say as much during her scheduled press release in 12 minutes, but I have some friends on the inside that slipped the full story to keep the PRT honest.
Apparently, Oberon had a moment of clarity or was wracked by guilt or something. Bottom line? He willingly walked into the Birdcage of his own volition. That is the last we will ever see of him.

I think you're underestimating the criminals in the cage. there are some heavy hitters in there. Marquis, Galavante, String Theory, Acidbath, not to mention the Faerie Queen. She's probably pissed someone stole her gimmick. I give Oberon two days before we see his name on the list of birdcage fatalities the PRT releases at the end of every month.

Due to recent events, I have been forced to reconsider several stances I have taken on a variety of issues. After long deliberation with trusted friends, I have determined that I have been too passive. No more.
In cooperation with Armsmaster, Camion, Masamune, Kid Win and new hero Hope, I have commenced an operation we have dubbed, 'Better World'. Perhaps this name may seem arrogant, but that is our goal. Any Tinkers interested in aiding us in our goal may contact me through pms. I will personally fund any project we deem viable.
