We headed up there and I smelled something that is like smoke. Donkey smelled it too and he asked if Shrek did it. Shrek then told him, "Believe me Donkey, if it was me, you'd be dead." Then he took a smell too. I looked at him and asked, "Shrek what's that smell?"

He then said, "It's brimstone. We must be getting close." I got my eyes wide in surprise and shock all at the same time. Brimstone? Why didn't I think about that?

We reached the top and we got our eyes wide. This is a strange view from up there. I can see the castle from up here. I said to Shrek, "Hey Shrek, I think I can see the castle from up here." Shrek replied back, "I can too." He then said, "Sure, it's big enough, but look at the location." He laughed while I just nervously laughed.

Donkey then asked about remembering something about Shrek saying something about ogres have layers. Shrek replied, "Oh, aye." I nodded my head saying, "Yes Donkey, we were there." Donkey then confessed saying something about donkeys not having layers and only have sleeves.

I got confused. Shrek and I then said, "Wait a second. Donkeys don't have sleeves." Donkey said, "You both know what I mean." Shrek then smirked. I asked, "You're not afraid of heights are you?"

Donkey then answered us, "No, I'm just a little uncomfortable about being on a rickety bridge over a boiling like of lava!" Shrek then said, "Come on, Donkey. We're right here besides ya okay? For emotional support. We'll just tackle this thing together one little baby step at a time."

I looked at Shrek and asked, "Are you sure about this?" Shrek looked at me and said, "Yes I am." Donkey asked really and Shrek answered him. Donkey then said that he is better now.

Shrek then said something about not looking down. I asked him, "What about left and right?" He said, "You can look left and right if you want." I did look to the left and right like I suggested. Then Donkey gasped and said, "Shrek, Dora, I'm looking down!" He then panicked bad. His panic is getting far worse.

I then felt sick and Shrek said, "Sorry about that Dora, just hold on for a bit till we reached the castle." I nodded my head slowly. The bridge was rocking back and forth, but I didn't felt it because, well.. I went ahead.

I hope Shrek and Donkey would catch up. Donkey was walking to the other side with his eyes closed and was muttering. I smirked at Donkey when he caught up.

Donkey realized that he is okay. Shrek then said while he petted him, "That'll do Donkey, that'll do." He then looked at me and said, "You did good Dora, really did good." I sighed and said, "Thanks, I guess."

Then we went onward. Donkey then asked something that doesn't make sense, "So where is this fire-breathing pain-in-the-neck anyway?" Shrek then said, "Inside, waiting for us to rescue her." I then said, "Uh Shrek, I don't think Donkey is talking about the princess."

I took a few deep breaths and I started to feel brave. All I had to do is think of the positives. That's what I have to, nothing else. I would be braver than I seem. That would be possible. Donkey then asked if we were afraid. Shrek said no while I said, "No I'm not. I would have to be brave." This made Shrek smile at me.

Donkey got scared and tried to say something else, but then he bumped into some armor and a dead corpse that looked scary to him. I rolled my eyes at this. Shrek then said, "Donkey, two things okay? Shut. Up. Now go over there and see if you can find any stairs. Dora, you're with me." I nodded my head.

Donkey was confused and said, "Stairs? I thought we were lookin' for the princess." I then said, "Well we won't have to worry on knowing where the princess is." Shrek said, "She's right because the princess will be up the stairs in the highest room in the tallest tower." Donkey then asked us, "What makes you both think she'll be there?"

Shrek said before walking off with me, "I read it in a book once." I replied to him, "My great aunt used to tell me that story." I turned back to see Donkey walking away and looked at Shrek as he was putting on the helmet and rest of the armor.

I wanted to say something, but I don't want to annoy him. I was quiet for a while. Shrek looked me and said, "You're being quiet today." I replied to him and said, "I am mostly quiet since I don't want to annoy you."

Shrek then said, "You're not annoying me." Then something caught my eye. Shrek followed my gaze. He then said, "Well. at least we know where the princess is, but where's the…" I was about to finish his question when we heard a loud shout. It was coming from Donkey. I guess he must've been discovered by the dragon.

I turned around and got my eyes wide and said, "Shrek!" Shrek turned and I pointed what I want him to look and he too got his eyes wide. Donkey is being chased by a dragon! The dragon doesn't look too happy to me.

Shrek then said as he managed to get him out of the way when the dragon breathed fire, "Donkey look out!" I quickly dodge the fire and said to Shrek, "What are we going to do? That dragon would harm him, or most likely eat him. We have to do something." Shrek then said, "I've got an idea, follow me. Come on." We then ran towards the trail and I saw the tail of the dragon.

I looked at Shrek and he nodded as if he was saying that it's his idea. I shrugged saying ok. We grabbed hold of the dragon's tail and Shrek said, "Got ya!" I yelled, "Run Donkey run! Don't look back and keep running! We got this."

The dragon then swung it's tail around while we hang on and we started to fly towards the tower. We landed with a thud. I groaned. I almost hurt myself. Shrek said, "Hey can you at least like get off of me?" I said, "I'm trying." Shrek got up and I got off of him. Then I saw something that made me gasp quietly.
