As a child, Izuku Midoriya had to deal with the significant trouble that came with being young, observation.
While it was fine throwing a rock at a tree and shaking a random twig around, it wouldn't really be normal to suddenly start constantly doing that while trying to keep up his appearance of being a young dumb child. It was strange, having the mental capacity of an adult without the experience that should follow, there was almost no life he could look back on, no place where he's learned the common sense for the thoughts currently running through his head...he was only a 3 year old child...a 3 year old child with a omnipotent quirk, apparently. Lifting his eyes from his hand and looking up, his eyes landed on the tree which dropped the twig, today he would have to go with his mother to the doctor and check on the state of his quirk, but he already knew the results.
'It'll probably be quirkless, right?'
Izuku was worried for multiple reasons, one, it would be impossible to become a hero, fight villains and enter the otherwordly gates without a quirk, second, if he suddenly started to show off all the things he'd come to receive from the Records with the title of Quirkless, he should just dig his grave on a laboratory somewhere for the rest of his life, and third...U.A, the school where All-Might attended and the place where the greatest talented hero trainees gather would be closed off to him, that wouldn't do, from the fuzzy memories he remembered as a baby, this title of 'Monster' allowed him to receive the records of those he watched, and 'Singularity' would allow him to gulp down the records of those he...killed.
'Is that even...alright?'

Perhaps it was because Izuku was focusing better on the Records window, but it definitely looked much more neat than the first time, the only thing that really worried the young boy was the luck section, everything else made more or less sense, the stat section must follow the usual RPG rules, while he couldn't really understand the whole class and level thing just yet, he was sure he'd get to it eventually, his eyes left the golden screen and looked about the backyard, his testing with his 'quirk' was done, and although he was left with a lot of questions just like the first time he received this sudden boost of Intelligence, they'd have to be left for later.
"Coming!"
It was here, wasn't there something, anything, he could do to be seen as somebody with a quirk? It'd be so helpful if he could just acquire that title somehow! But while walking back inside his house and towards his impending fate, he couldn't help but curse slightly, these damned Records had literally popped up the moment he threw a rock and wanted to cut something with a twig, did it not have anything to say about this situation? Being led towards the entrance of the house, putting on shoes and getting inside the car, Izuku suddenly felt a bad premonition, he should've brought a twig with him..
It was inevitable, the doctor spoke the words he had been expecting all along, and although his mother held her worry right there, he knew that thousands of emotions should be boiling inside her, worry, anger, disbelief, disappointment, pity, he couldn't count the plethora of emotions just from his cursory glance towards her eyes, but Midoriya knew one thing, and that's that he needed to show the disappointment befitting of how much he had been looking forward to this moment, he couldn't allow his mother to suspect anything out of the ordinary. It was now late at night after the visit to the doctor, standing in front of the computer playing a video of All Might, my brain racked hard for any possible solutions to this current situation, Izuku wasn't devasted but his mother didn't know that, he should be devasted, so she would come to check up on him at any second now, think! He needed to think about a solution!
"Izuku?"
"Sniff...sniff..."
Midoriya slowly turned the chair around, tears falling down his eyes as his finger, shaking, slowly pointed to the screen of All Might saving countless innocents caught in a disaster, a broken and shaky smile on his face as he looked at his mother.
"Can I...still be a hero like him...mother?"
"IZUKU!"
As the worried mother wrapped her arms around Izuku, she failed to notice the large, open wound on his back that strangely wasn't bleeding, it looked like a slash injury that ran from his nape to his waist, yet strangely, the only thing you could see was the muscle beneath the skin as no torrent of blood accompanied it.
"I want to be a hero...mom..."
[The Akashic Records resonate with the will of the user, it has given a Record to help with the current situation, Active Skill: Self-Harm (LV. MAX)]
"You'll become an incredible hero, Izuku! I just know you will!"
Izuku suddenly felt a pang of guilt as he saw his mother shed tears with him, hers was emotional, one built up from her empathetic feelings towards her small child, while his was nothing but the terrible pain he felt as he opened a larger and larger wound on his own body to keep the tears flowing, this moment was where Izuku would promise himself to be worthy of the only holder of the Akashic Records, he'd reach the top as the greatest and most powerful hero.
"Oi! Izu!"
Being snapped out of his thoughts from yesterday, the young Midoriya slowly looked away from the street he was standing on and towards his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo, the sight of the blonde hair, red eye child kind of relieved him somewhat, and confidently walking towards him, Izuku and Bakugo began to walk side by side, the latter giving him a large, teethy smile while the former simply had a resting smirk on his face, if anyone saw them from far away they would've imagined Izuku running after a Bakugo that was always one step ahead, but that was far from the truth.
"So what Quirk did you awaken? I'll beat you when it comes to this for sure!"
"Hm~ I don't know if you can beat me since I'm not telling you my Quirk!"
"EHHH?!? That's not fair!"
Izuku didn't see any point on telling anyone about his current situation, his mother for sure wouldn't spill a thing, and if no teachers at the kindergarten spoke up, then there would be nothing to worry about, their relationship as friends and rivals could continue without a zinch, and besides, Izuku could always just cut something with a twig to prove his capabilities as a Quirk user, an official document was only official when it was brought up...still, Izuku should continue to be careful just in case.
"I'll show you my Quirk if you show me yours, Kacchan!"
"You're on!"
Poor little Bakugo would become nothing more but a way for Izuku to check his theories about the Records, so as they made their way towards the nearest playground and talked about the latest episodes of the current popular cartoon, the moment of truth finally came, Izuku stared at Bakugo as he smirked and then, *spark spark BOOM!* A small explosion came out of Bakugo's hand, the sound echoing through the air.
"So what do you think, Izu?!"
Izuku's eyes couldn't leave Bakugo's hand, rather, they couldn't move at all, the broccoli very slowly felt something within him change, it was different than Throwing, than Twig Mastery, it felt much deeper and important as the feeling of a knife carving his soul echoed through each pore of his body, unspeakable and indescribable pain seemed to be the only thing his existence would ever know, until it was gone as quickly as it came, and Midoriya was left looking at a golden screen shining in front of his eyes.
[The Akashic Records have carved the Origin Record of being Katsuki Bakugo upon the user's Soul, received Active Skill: Explosion (LV. MAX)]
It was probably the scariest experience Izuku had ever gone through in his 3 years of being alive, if it was any other child they would probably be scarred for the rest of their life, but the broccoli could only thing about that huge, wide void which received a bright sparking orange slash, was that his soul? What's the difference between a normal Record and a Origin Record? So many thoughts rang through his mind, but they eventually passed away, the only thing left being him and Kacchan, staring at each other.
"Come on Deku! I want to see your Quirk!"
"Ah...right..."
The young boy had almost completely forgotten where he was, thankfully the voice of his childhood friend rang through his mind and broke him away from the stupor of the vision he had seen. Before Izuku could even say anything to Bakugo though, the 3 year old felt somebody grabbing his arm and shoulder, shaking it side to side.
"Y-You! That Quirk! It was amazing!"
Izuku's eyes landed on the rounded, baby fat face girl that had showed up next to him, who was this? Her eyes sparkled as she looked at Bakugo, and the kid himself seemed to blush upon the question, smirking and giving her a thumbs up.
"Explosion! It's my incredible Quirk!"
"Woaaah!"
Who was this? She had brown hair in a bob cut and beautiful brown eyes, Izuku merely watched her as she danced around Bakugo with sparkling eyes until they eventually landed on Midoriya himself, with a hop she came closer and observed his face, tilting her head to the side with a large smile on her face.
"You! What's your Quirk?!"
Izuku took a step back and stuttered when he tried to think of something to say, yet his mind had gone completely blank, it was one thing talking to his childhood friend, but this girl came out of nowhere! Why was she even here?!
"I was over there with my parents, and saw you two here playing together and I wanted to join in!"
Izuku's eyes slowly moved towards a construction site for one of the newer buildings around the neighborhood, and then they went back to the girl once again, who kept their child at a construction site? Weren't they afraid of what could happen to her?
"My name's Ochako Uraraka!"
Izuku didn't know it yet, but this would be one of the most significant relationships he'd ever make. It was hard to put it into words, but this small girl seemed to hold something extremely meaningful, he just couldn't put his hand on what that was.
"Katsuki Bakugo!"
"Izuku Midoriya."
Both of them said their hellos, and continued to hang out in the playground while talking about Bakugo's quirk, Izuku felt somewhat relieved he hadn't needed to mention a single thing about his own Quirk, and as time slowly passed, it seemed that this encounter would end with a small conversation and a new friendship, but nothing can ever go so smoothly, can it?
"HELP!!!"
Izuku quickly turned around together with the other two kids to see the construction site, an obvious scream had come from there, and right after, a small explosion followed, the quick minded broccoli quickly took a glance at the scene to then dashing forward.
"EH?! OI!"
"Izuku!"
Midoriya heard both of the screams asking for him behind him, but there was no time, he needed to, for some reason, get in there and help whoever was in trouble, what was this strange sensation pulsing through his heart? He didn't know, he probably wouldn't ever know, but what he did know was that he had to chase it. He arrived at the costruction side and looked around, only for eyes to meet a large, dinosaur like monster staring down at him.
'I didn't bring a branch—!"
Thankfully, his survival insticts were faster, he immediately jumped to the side where a large foot was moments later, his eyes jumped around, there was no rock, there was no branch to use, what now?! The Records reacted to situations didn't they?! There was no new system message, there was no sudden help.
'No, there's still something I can do!'
Sparkling, crackling sounds echoed from his hand as he put it to the side and made it explode, throwing him all the way from the right and far away from the large monster, hitting his small and frail back against a hard beam, he felt his consciousness start to fade rather quickly.
[The Akashic Records react, Passive: Pain Tolerance (LV. 1)]
[The Akashic Records react, Passive: Iron Bones (LV. 1)]
A large scream followed the notifications, his bones creaked, snapped, changed in a way that he couldn't understand at this juncture, but that large amount of pain no kid could ever endure kept him conscious, and soon, he'd once again rise to his feet, coughing out loud as his eyes landed on the large monster.
'I didn't hurt my head, I don't feel any blood. My bones...they're stronger, it's becoming harder to move!'
The density of metal, his body couldn't keep up with the stronger and denser bones with his current, small body, he felt like he needed to adapt to these sudden changes, but he didn't have time, the monster once again stepped forward, taking this chance, Izuku aimed his hand down at the floor and once again reached for an explosion, which caused him to burst upwards and dodge the swipe of the large monster.
'SHIT! I'm gonna fall!'
Slightly before falling face first into the ground, he once again caused another explosion, making him hit the floor with less impact, thankfully, due to his bones, he didn't feel like anything broke from the blunt impact agaisnt the ground, he knew that he couldn't keep dancing around this monster, Bakugo and Ochaco probably went to look for help, weren't her parents here? His eyes once again landed on the large monster, his hands grip the ground with frustration.
'I have no clue how to control this quirk, or make larger explosions! If I fly towards its head, are the explosions enough!? If I don't kill it, I'll—'
BOOM!
Then, the monster exploded, Izuku's eyes widened in shock as he looked at the large back of the man in front of him, blue, red and yellow...it could only be one man.
"I, AM HERE!"
A loud yell echoed through the construction site, All Might immediately turned around to look at who he had protected...but there was no one there.
"Hm? I could've sworn...'
Ochaco came running with tears on her eyes, talking about her parents and asking if they were okay, she would soon realize that they had waited at a safe place after they found the emergence of a gate, it seemed like he hadn't broken out the moment it showed up, but a monster had indeed come through. Aside from the destruction of the construction site, there was no injured, well...aside from the kid who had used explosions to throw himself far away as quickly as possible, hitting his back against a nearby building after enough velocity.
'That...was close.'
If All Might learned a kid had tried doing something about a monster, a three year old at that, he might've just been captured and researched, after all, the kid who had that quirk was at the nearby playground. Apparently Bakugo had run back home to ask help from his parents, and he'd soon find out that Izuku hadn't been found at the scene...that's how 'Deku' had come to be Izuku's nickname.

There was still too much to learn about these records, and things to do to improve my usage of sudden acquirements.
'I still have to do that damn training quest...'
i am remaking this story from chapter 2, don't expect more than a chapter a week, trying to finish BNHA to make sure I can write ONE FOR ALL correctly
debating on first person or third person, next chapter will probably be first person so I can try out both views
the description of the new skills will be included in the next chapter
