Tales as Old as Time.
So, Simon Bolivar. As a Venezuelan living in Venezuela, in times like these, one cannot help but thinking of him, one way or another.
This version was intended to be mostly based on the infamous Colombian animated movie Bolivar el Heroe, which was like an anime style fanfilm on a shoestring budget, but as I wrote it several traits of the real Bolivar seeped in. I tried to portray him as a flawed person who was idealized by history, but at the same time, I believe that his 'black legend' has been exaggerated a lot, with many accusing him of being nothing but a cowardly oportunist and jerk, which I think is unfair as it goes too far in the other direction. Some Spaniard historians seem to be fond of that view, just saying.
But let's not go into controversy, please. I also tried not to inflate his stats too much, because golly, some Bolivar Servant sheets are overpowered as f- Language.

Biography:
The true face of Bolivar is what you want it to be. He was a democrat. He was an autocrat. He was an egalitarian. He was an elitist. He was an abolitionist. He was a slaveholder. He was a cruel tyrant. He was a tolerant humanist. In fact, he was all those things at one time or another. - William Neuman.
This is not the same Proper Human History Simon Bolivar who waged a war on Spain to free the South American colonies, although the broad strokes of his biography appear to be the same. He was born from a wealthy family, just like PHH Bolivar, in the then village of Caracas. He fell in love very young and was left a widower, and he was taught by writer Simon Rodriguez. He traveled to Europe and admired Napoleon Bonaparte until the later crowned himself Emperor, leaving Bolivar soured and disappointed on him. Bolivar returned to South America and fought the Spanish armies until the won the independence of territories from the actual Panama to Bolivia, a nation that named itself in its honor; but this counterpart's life was much more... extravagant.
Unlike the 'actual' Bolivar, he was childhood friends with a black slave named Americo, whom he fought along during the war, and he was bitter rivals from boyhood with Tiranico, a redheaded sociopath fighting in the Spaniard side. After Tiranico killed Americo in the battlefield, a furious Bolivar killed his longterm enemy.
It should be noted that no Spanish language sane person in PHH would name their children 'Tiranico', as that means 'Tyrannical'.
A headstrong, often difficult to understand, proud man. He is a curious combination of humility and pride.
Class Skills:
Magic Resistance: B
"We will fight nature itself if it opposes us, and force it to obey."
Since he was someone who all but issued a war statement on nature itself after the earthquake of 1812 threatened the independence efforts, succeeding despite raging against Fate, he has been credited with a supernatural drive allowing him to overcome supernatural odds.
Riding: A
Saber was an ace at horseback, and as a Servant he easily handles any modern-day equivalents and vehicles of a terrestrial or nautical nature.
Personal Skills:
Golden Rule: D
He was born an aristocrat, but he squandered his personal fortune on the pursuit of the cause of Freedom.
Disengage: A
Bolivar was defeated several times and had to retreat before trying waging war on Spain again; it took his forces several attempts before freeing the territories of Venezuela for good. While some historians have used this to accuse him of cowardice, it remains a fact that he used these retreats as a long term survival strategy and bounced back from it for a final victory over his enemy.
In the context of a Human Order or Grail War scenario the same principles may apply.
Military Tactics: C
With inferior, empoverished soldiers and working against a conventionally superior foe, he used successful guerrilla strategies and allied himself well. However, as stated in Disengage, he didn't win his war quickly, and once he won he was unable to subdue division within his ranks.
Noble Phantasm:
Delirium on the Chimborazo- A Dream of Liberty and Madness: A
Anti-Army.
Up to 1,000 enemy units at a time.
A feverish delirium blocks my mind;
I feel myself as with a strange and superior fire.
It was Colombia's God that took possession of me.
Suddenly Time appears before me
looking like a venerable old man carrying
the scraps of the ages:
a furrowed brow, hunched over, bald, wrinkled skin, a scythe in his his hand...
In 1822 Bolivar was traveling through the Andes. In Mount Chimborazo, an extinct volcano in Ecuador, 20,564 feet high, he apparently achieved a mystical experience that boosted his determination to free the rest of South America. In terms of attacking as a Heroic Spirit, this is deployed as a wave of spiritual power blasted from his sword, making him one of many Saber class Servants who have a type of sword beam.
Start of Battle:
"I swear on my honor that I will leave neither respite to my arm, nor rest to my soul, as long as I will not have broken the chains which oppress us!"
"Our hatred knows no bounds, and the war shall be to the death."
"War lives on despotism and is not waged with God's love."
"Our level of freedom is over nine thousaaaaaaand!"
"Am I a joke to you? Why do you snicker even more?"
Attack:
"Carajo!"
"Bochinche, only bochinche!"
"The pride of my country!"
"Take this!"
"Backing away?!"
Damage:
"Damn it!"
"Coño e' tu madre!"
"Vile egoist!"
"Ignoramous!"
"We shall not kneel!"
Damage by Noble Phantasm: "NOOOOOOOO!"
Victory:
"Let's see San Martin do better!"
"AMERICOOOOOOO!"
"This is our Independence Day! Eh? Was that said before? When!?"
"Laugh now."
"My hair? What about it?"
Defeat:
"How will I ever get out of this labyrinth?"
"From the heroic to the ridiculous, there is only one step."
"The art of victory is learned in defeats."
"I have ploughed the sea."
"To achieve triumph, the path of sacrifice has always been a necessity."
Summon:
"Don't you recognize me? Servant Saber. Are you my Master? Hm."
Noble Phantasm Activation:
"Finally, the thundering voice of Colombia cries out to me; I revive, I sit up; with my own hands I open my heavy eyelids: I become a man again, and herein I inscribe my delirium on the Chimborazo!"
Extra Dialogue:
"I am not Napoleon nor do I want to be. The crown of Emperor? The title of Liberator is superior to all those that human pride has received." (When you have Archer Napoleon Bonaparte).
"I don't want to imitate Caesar. Make out of that what you will." (When you have Saber Julius Caesar).
"Hm! Please don't tell me about the United States. The United States appear to be destined by Providence to plague America with misery in the name of liberty." (When you have Caster Thomas Alva Edison, Shielder Captain America, or Ruler Amanda Waller).
"The real discoverer of South America was Humboldt, since his work was more useful for our people than the work of all conquerors. Begone, you." (When you have Rider Christopher Columbus).
"This one's glories have been greatly augmented, and distorted, by history. I don't talk to glorified pirates." (When you have Rider Francis Drake).
"Alas! If only Spain had employed soldiers such as these in our time." (When you have Assassin Mortadelo and Filemon).
"Beware the nation in which one man rules, for it is a nation of slaves." (When you have Archer, Ruler or Caster Gilgamesh of Uruk).
Birthday: "Congratulations on this happy day. But there is a war to be fought. We don't have the time for frivolities yet."
Event: "The forces of tyranny are conspiring there! But they shall not prevail!"
Holy Grail: "I'd wish to redo it all over again, to figure out where I failed. When did my dream crumble under me, and why?"
Next: The second Turtle...
