A vile plan part 2

Friday night

Nikki's pov

As I was lying in bed, I was thinking about how I made so many friends at my new school. Oh? I forgot to mention that I changed the school this year, that's why I didn't really have friends. A month without friends is enough for me. Actually, the month is over! I talked to Zoey and she said she has another best friend, named Chloe. I am excited to meet her too. Now I am confident Mackenzie will stop making fun of me. I will go to sleep because this day was tiring.

Mackenzie's pov

I am ready. I am going to get the keys to the principal's office somehow. I want to ruin Nikki's life forever! I am so excited for Brandon to invite me to his gang! Yes! My plan will work perfectly!

The next day

Nikki's pov

I woke up the next day, happy about what happened yesterday. I went downstairs to eat breakfast, but I had a note on the fridge.

'Nikki, we are going to a movie. Take care of Brianna.'

Nooo! I hate when she gives me these kind of notes! I have better things to do! I really hope she is going to give me money! I went back in my room without eating. I started to do some homework. Then, after half an hour, I realised. Why was the house so quiet if Brianna was home? I went downstairs to check. Okay okay! I am lying! I went to search for my phone. I couldn't find it anywhere! I suddenly heard someone yell:

''Nikki! What do I do if I dropped something in the toilet?'' said Brianna.

''WHAT?! What did you drop in the toilet?!'' I asked, mad.

''Uhm- nothing. Just asking.'' said Brianna, nervous.

I came upstairs as quick as possible. I thought that maybe it was a toy or something, but…

It was my DEAR phone! NONONO! I had just gotten it for Christmas!

''Why did you take my phone?!'' I yelled.

''I wanted to play games!'' she yelled back.

We were arguing when we both heard the door. Our parents are home! I have to tell them what this little demon did! I was thinking what to do when Brianna started crying. Literally. She is going to fool my parents again! I have to get to them first! I started running for my life, and she kept crying and running behind me.

''Mum, dad, I-''

I got cut off by Brianna.

''She started yelling at me for nothing!'' said Brianna, crying.

''She-''

''I don't want to hear another excuse. Apologise.''

''But she threw my phone in the toilet!''

''We can fix it. I don't think we have to buy a new one.'' said my dad.

I am furious. My phone for sure isn't working anymore! I hate Brianna so much! How could you love and hate a person at the same time? Anyway, I have to stop writing. My mum is calling me for dinner.

The next day

I woke up excited for the next day (I am not crazy for being excited for school to start, right?) so I rushed downstairs to see if my phone was fixed. I was shocked to see that it was still broken.

''You said you will fix my phone! What happened?!'' I asked, trying not to sound mad.

''Well, honey…'' said my mother, hesitant.

''I don't think it can be fixed. But I don't want to buy you a new one either.''

I was about to faint. What did she mean by that?! I need that phone! I couldn't talk to anyone. I decided to study hard so I could afford a new one (I don't get paid because I don't have really good grades). I am going to buy a new phone! I went back to my room and started rewriting all my homework. I was starting today. ALL AND I SAID ALL the homework has to be pure perfection. After 2 hours I was finally done. I went to get something to eat. I am not really in the mood. I have to tell everyone at school tomorrow that I broke my phone and my mum couldn't afford a new one. It is going to be so embarrassing! Mackenzie will make fun of me! Ugh. I have to stop writing! My annoying sister, Brianna entered my room without knocking again!

Monday

It is finally Monday! I can go to school to meet my friends! I did my morning routine and put everything in my backpack. I don't want to tell everyone I don't have a phone, but I have to. I was walking and thinking about what I should do when I bumped into someone.

''Oh, I am so sorry!'' I said, confused.

''Nikki? Hey.'' said Brandon.

''Brandon! I didn't know it was you!''

''It's alright! Do you want to go to class together?''

''Sure!''

I am so happy right now. Brandon asked me if I want to go to class with him! Yay! We walked to class and talked about our weekend.

''I also have a brother!"

''I have a sister. I didn't answer your messages because she dropped my phone in the toilet!''

''What a little demon." said Brandon, visibly amused

''EXACTLY!''

After we got to my class, he had to go.

''I have to go! See you at lunch!''

But he didn't move one bit. We just kept staring at each other and blushing. Is it just in my head or he is also blushing? Then, I entered the class, in a very good mood. I didn't see Mackenzie at all today. I wonder what happened? Okay, I don't! I am just happy she isn't at school today. I took a seat next to Zoey.

''Hey, Nikki!''

''Hi.''

''Chloe isn't in the same class, sadly. We can meet her at lunch.''

''I will see what I can do. I said I will meet Brandon at lunch.''

''Oh? I didn't know you were friends with Brandon.''

''Actually, I am.''

''Ooh, the new couple of the year!'' said Zoey, laughing.

''We are not a couple!''

''You're acting like I didn't see you with Brandon earlier. You were both so in love!''

''You think so? Nooo! Forgot what I asked!''

''I would never.''

Then, the first class started. I had an urge to laugh at everything. I really am in a good mood. I wish that all the days could be like this.

''Nikki Maxwell!'' said someone outside.

''Why is someone yelling my name..?'' I asked, in fear.

''I don't think it's something serious.'' Said Zoey.

The principal entered the room furious.

''Go to my… non-existent office?''

''What?''

Everyone was confused.

''It isn't an office anymore because you destroyed it!''

''I didn't destroy anything, sir!''

''Someone gave me this proof after I found out.''

He showed me photos of someone destroying his office? That SOMEONE was ME! I couldn't believe it. I didn't do that! All my classmates were in shock. I got taken by the principal and he showed me the office. It was awful. I don't want to get punished for something I didn't do!

''Who gave you this proof?''

''It's none of your business.''

Someone suddenly entered the office.

''I believe you found her. Did she at least apologise?''

This isn't possible! The one that did this was…

And we have a CLIFF!
