Headed back to Great Lakes City and to know what else happened after the whole conflict they had with a god of death and who knows, perhaps one day Ronnie Anne's new friend might come by and visit. Chapter 696: Great Lakes City and some Cameras?…
(August 18. Great Lakes City.)
At the Santiago's Apartment Building, Lincoln, Luna and Jordan are here visiting since the other day Ronnie Anne and her familia came back from their whole summer vacation in Mexico and boy they are still surprised by what Ronnie Anne had to encounter.
The necklace she bought from the vendor which led her to finding this teenage girl who is actually the demigod Punguari and then it turns into total cluster and ended up with the awakening of Ucumu the ancient demonic god of the underworld and they had to stop him.
At least Sid's concerns did the trick which had Michelle Lewis contact for some other worldly backup to bring in some support and help take down the demonic god and now everything is back to normal.
Ronnie Anne then continues. "Punguari's parents were finally freed and they were proud of her for being brave and strong and helping fight Ucumu alongside us and also seeing the error of her ways. We did have a celebration after the Lake was restored and some damages around the town which was caused by the tremors."
"That is so cool and I wish we could meet her" replied Sid. "We have seen the video of the whole battle and she looked so soft and furry being a giant coyote. Does she has a cell phone?"
Ronnie Anne chuckles. "Yup, she does. Her parents allowed it since she has become responsible and understanding. But she's still got a long way to learn if she is to become a true god and taking in a lot of responsibility to that role. I'm happy for her."
Lincoln chuckles. "Well dang. Sounds like chaos almost raised up, almost sounds like what we went through at Loch Loud. But you're case seems worse, at least Punguari learned her lesson and now everything is alright again."
"I honestly can't believe of the other things we didn't see coming" replied Jordan and they see her Fidough playing with Sprigatito and Fuecoco, and outside by the window and catching some sun light is Serperior. "Servine evolved during the road trip and this fire croc has been following Ronnie Anne this entire time?"
Ronnie Anne smiles and pets Fuecoco. "I honestly can't believe it either. I saw him when we were in Mexico, and I thought he was some kind of new animal there. I didn't think he was actually a Pokémon and he followed me all the way from Great Lakes City, he's a cute little fire croc and I like his name too."
Then she asks. "You guys think the hero counterparts will come back again? I wanna know, how did they help deal with Punguari and Ucumu in their world?"
Luna speaks. "We are uncertain, but we'll see if we can call them, I can contact Luna Frost and see when they can come around and visit. Best call her rather than the FutureTech guys, since they're busy a lot and also Martin McKenzie is always ticked off when folks say he's a doctor. I mean, he has a Ph.D right?"
They all chuckle and continue to chat, they let Lincoln and Luna explain to them about the whole Road Trip, from the good times to the bad times and especially the incident of what Lola did that made her grounded and ticked off Michelle Lewis, and even the whole… Mr. Coconut's father thing, and it still freaks them out.
Just then Luna notices something and she stands up and goes towards the book shelf. This gets the attention from the others. "Luna?"
They watch as Luna removes this camera from behind the book shelf and hidden behind a snow globe from 12iM. This confuses them. "Whoa. What the heck is a camera doing here?" asked Sid. "Also, why did we not notice it?"
Luna looks to the wire attached to the camera. "I noticed it when the sunlight bounced off, and something doesn't feel right…" she does a hard pull and they here some small crashing sounds. They all head to the living room and they see Bobby comes out of his room with a camera and in the Living room, Maria, Michelle and Amanda are baffled by five cameras that fell off the shelves and behind the TV. They even see some hidden in the kitchen and one falls from the ceiling fan.
Lincoln then speaks. "Ummm, what the heck? There are other cameras?"
This confuses them. "Wait, wait. What do you mean other cameras?" asked Michelle.
"This one." Luna shows them the camera. "Yanked it out from behind Ronnie Anne's bookshelf and I guess it connected to some others and knocked them out from hiding."
"I saw this one fall from my closet and it landed and broke" replied Bobby. "What the heck is going on? Why are there cameras inside the apartment? Is someone trying to spy on us?"
"We wanna know too" they see Becca and Stanley come inside and they have the same surveillance cameras and are damaged. Stanley then speaks. "These things fell off from behind our portraits. Is this Mr. Scully's doing or something?"
"No. It couldn't have been him" replied Maria. "He respects people's privacy and he would never do such a thing like this, and he only installed the fire alarms for the building and…" she then pucks up one of the fallen surveillance cameras and she looks annoyed. "I think I know who did this." She shows them what's labeled below the camera and they are now ticked off.
(The Casagrandes Apartment Building.)
They all kick the door open and this surprises the Casagrandes. Then Amanda drags Hector from the Mercado and she brings him upstairs and even Vito and Mabel follow to see what's going on. The other Casagrandes are surprised and confused to see so many folks here and they don't look please.
Carlos then asks. "Is something wrong? What are you all doing here?" Rosa also shows up from the hardware store and sees everyone here and not looking happy.
Then Luna and Adelaide go around the apartment building and with the help from Becca and Jordan and they manage to grab a lot of surveillance cameras from hidden spots. Lincoln even grabs one that was hidden in a portrait of Hector. "Looks like this place has the same thing." They show them the cameras from their building as well.
The Casagrandes are baffled seeing this. "What the heck?! What are these things doing all over the room?!" asked Frida. She even sees Luna hand her a camera, which is from her study where she paints.
"Not just here" replied Amanda. "We have reason to believe that there are more cameras hidden throughout the building. We found out after Luna noticed one in Ronnie Anne's room which triggered the other hidden ones around the Santiago apartment building to be revealed and look what it says on the bottom."
CJ picks up one of the cameras and he reads it. "If found please return to the Casagrandes. Wait what? But we don't know about these."
"Which means someone else is doing this and hiding here in this building" replied Michelle. "Earlier I got FutureTech to come and search the entire City for these cameras and they are literally hunting out there like a Rabbit Season Hunt. We need to know, who the heck is watching everyone!" this surprises Mabel and Vito and they fear that some might be in their buildings.
Just then they notice, Rosa is missing. Michelle looks stern. "Everyone follow me. I think someone is not being honest here." They follow Michelle to the roof where they see Rosa is trying to open the side of the water tower. "Rosa, what are you doing?" Rosa sees all of them looking to her sternly.
Rosa stops what she's doing and she tries to play it cool. "Ummm… I was just, checking if this needed some repairs…"
Jordan moves Rosa aside. "Allow me." She then kicks the door open and everyone looks inside and are shocked to see the camera screens inside and they are locked onto the Santiago's, The Chang's, Everyone they know who are their friends and neighbors and even the Loud House?! They see some screens have gone dark because the cameras have been damaged, but they also see some are dark and the name says. "Lewis Family."
Everyone is now shocked and surprised and many are just angry. Lincoln knows why the cameras for the Lewis House are offline, the presence from the Beldum's back then caused them to malfunction since these kinds of cameras are old fashioned.
"You have been spying on all of us this whole time?!" yelled Mr. Nakamura.
"This is downright creepy and disturbing and also rude!" yelled Stanley.
"Why the heck are you even spying on everyone?!" yelled Bobby. He then looks to the cameras that are locked onto the Loud's. "And why spy on the Loud's and Lewis'?!" He sees a camera screen which hasn't been installed, and plans to place some at Fairway University, where Lori's located for college!
Rosa sighs and she tells them. "I placed these cameras hidden long ago, when I was put in charge of maintaining the building. I wanted to keep an eye on mi familia and friends. I was doing it to ensure nothing bad was happening." Now everyone sees why Rosa is prepared and knows what everyone else seeks when they go into the Mercado.
Hector doesn't like this at all, especially the footage of himself secretly eating food that he ordered, which is chicken, pizza and burgers. Carlota is disgusted by all of this. "Abuela, this is disturbing our privacy!" even Carl feels horrified and Carlos and Frida.
Luna then looks to Rosa sternly and with Revavroom growling. "You still haven't answered our question… why the hell are there surveillance cameras in our house?!"
Rosa is now sweating nervously and she tells them. "B-Because…. Because I was keeping track of the relationship between Lincoln and Jordan if it doesn't work out well!" this makes them gasp.
But Lincoln, Luna, Jordan, Ronnie Anne, Sid, Maria, Michelle and Amanda are livid and so are they're Pokémon. Sid then speaks in anger. "So all this damn time, you still think Lincoln and Ronnie Anne should be together?! Are you mentally insane?!"
Rosa is about to speak but then Michelle confronts her and looks like an angry typhoon had showed up. "I thought… we thought you'd learn you're lesson by now. We thought that you'd change your ways and accept what's happening around everyone's lives. But clearly, you have a case of dementia and haven't learned a damn thing you old fool."
Michelle Lewis looks to the water tower in anger and her rage is building up strength and she actually pulls the water tower off the roof and throws it. The water tower crashes onto the road and explodes and this horrifies everyone and they see this silhouette of anger and rage which is Michelle Lewis.
Lincoln, Luna and Amanda are impressed by what Michelle did; Amanda on the other hand blushes seeing this. 'Oh my god. She's awesome and amazing. I wonder…. How will she fair in my dreams with Lady Ace? Because that was intense and wicked.'
Michelle Lewis then makes a call. "I need you to send many of your troops and tactical support teams to scour Royal Woods and Great Lakes City. There are more cameras hidden in locations. Track them down and send them here to the Casagrandes apartment building and burn them in front of the place in the middle of the road."
Rosa now sees what she has done; her familia is enraged with her and everyone else as well. She made a huge mistake with those cameras and now she is paying the price. Becca does notice, the items in Rosa's basket. "Why did you buy bird seeds and biscuits?"
Just then Sergio comes down and goes for Lincoln and he's trying to grab the Silver Necklace around his neck, the same one that Luna gave him on his birthday. "Hey let go you stupid bird! Let go!"
"Rawrk! No, it's shiny and I want it!" but then Sergio pulls too hard and the necklace hits the wall and breaks and this horrifies Luna and Lincoln. Everyone gasps except Sergio. "Dang it. I could've sold it for big bucks, it is silver after all and…"
But then Luna grabs Sergio by the neck and she starts to choke him. "That was my brothers birthday gift from me you stupid piece of flying trash!" Luna then slams Sergio repeatedly onto the ground, then she stomps on the parrot and she starts to rip off all his feathers. But then Revavroom runs over Sergio and Serperior strangles him and then throws him into the air for Pidgeotto to scratch and tackle.
Then Froakie hits Sergio with Hydro Pump and then Sprigatito uses vine whip, and Fidough lands a powerful bite and thrashes Sergio around and throws him towards Fuecoco who uses flamethrower and then Metang comes from above and hits Sergio with Meteor Mash. Sergio lays on the ground badly wounded and in so much pain.
Luna and the others go towards Lincoln as he gathers the pieces of the shattered silver necklace and Carlitos and Lalo also help him. But then Lincoln breaks down and cries and so Luna and Jordan hug Lincoln and try to comfort him.
Amanda is furious seeing this and she starts to snap some photos, she'll convince her boss to out this on the Gazette and to every newspaper around Royal Woods and Great Lakes City. Michelle is also enraged and she looks to Rosa. "I hope you got a lawyer because I am suing and… I am my own lawyer!" she then goes over to hug her son.
Everyone is still shocked to see Sergio here, and they look to Rosa who is speechless and horrified which means she managed to sneak Sergio back to the country and that means he is not there at Mama Lupe's anymore!
Ronnie Anne on the other hand is filled with fury but she tries to calm down. She feels bad for Lincoln, but she is furious with Rosa. Ronnie Anne watches as the Pokémon continue to beat up Sergio and now she feels like that something has to be done. 'We… We shouldn't stay in Great Lakes City anymore. I think, we should put the moving plan into motion, immediately.'
A/N: For goodness sakes Rosa! Damn that elderly woman and her stupidity! Not just the stupid cameras, but she brought Sergio back to Great Lakes City as well? She really didn't learn anything, looks like time to make things change once again. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
