Eternal Void Overlord Chapter 3
Hello everyone, my name is Darklord331 and today! We are bringing you another chapter of the Eternal Void Overlord! I'm here with my friend and co author Light He'arth/Xarazechi
Light/Xara: Thank you for having me again.
We are absolutely loving this story and already have three chapters!
Light/Xara: It's a fun write. I'm actually liking what we can do with no limits on crazy.
Absolutely. I cannot fathom how much shit and screw ups they have to deal with, I mean a lot! And we love it!
Light/Xara: But add other things in the mix, and you get a (somewhat) competent team. … Now if half of them would listen and two of them didn't do things on their own, then we'd be golden…
Unfortunately one is an explosion maniac(Don't let her learn about nukes cause it would be the end of the world literally) and the other is a spoiled self centered Alcoholic Greek Goddess who wants what she wants and constantly screws up when she tries to fix things.
And let's not talk about the third… She's a competent tank… Just…

Yup, now then, onto the chapte-
SPLASH
(Suddenly a tidal wave splashed onto Dark and causing him to gargle and nearly drown from water)
Light/Xara: … Why do you do this to yourself…?
I didn't! This water just suddenly came out of nowhere! AQUUAAAAAAAAA!
Light/Xara: (Groans) Just cut to the chapter already…
Chapter 3: Dallon sisters, Gods incoming?! And Aqua's father wants to talk to me?! Oh no!
"..."
"..."
Everyone at the table glared at Megumin who looked down and had a nervous look while sweat poured from her face. She had her Staff and Bracelet confiscated by the others and a magic restraining cuff on her arm.
"Megumin…." Greg called out her name.
"... Yes?"
"... I just got this letter of notification directly from the administration office and do you know what they told me?" Greg said to her while holding a letter in his hand.
"... What?"
"That you are hereby officially forbidden from using Explosion spell in the town that isn't within fifty kilometers away from town." Greg informed her.
Kazuma lets out a groan, facepalming. "Just be thankful we don't have to pay for the damages, your earnings for all the veggies you blew up that covered that." He then turned to Greg. "Teach her other explosion magic, before she actually tries killing us with the one she knows."
"Oh come on. It isn't that bad." Megumin tried to assure her teammate.
"Oh yeah it wasn't that bad-YOUR EXPLOSION WAS NEARLY THE SIZE OF A FOOTBALL STADIUM WHICH IS ABOUT TWENTY PERCENT AS BIG AS THIS TOWN!" Kazuma shouted at her. He then rubbed the sides of his forehead. "How you were able to actually force your mana to make that explosion is giving me a headache."
Taylor looked at Greg and asked, "Wasn't the Rune only supposed to halve her mana cost for spells?"
"Somehow she managed to combine both her explosion spells and made them into something of a super explosion." Greg said to Taylor while being mentally exhausted. "I knew it was a bad idea to give her that rune bracelet."
"... Is it weird that I find it amazing that she was smart enough to do something like that?" Taylor asked. "I know Yunyun can do it with normal spells."
"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?" Megumin shouted at the Bug Beast Tamer.
"... I want to both praise her and scold her at the sametime, if I'm being honest," Greg said, face-planting on the table. "That Explosion was sick as hell, not going to lie (Almost like a Final Fantasy Zettaflare), but we could have collected more Cabbages and Lettuce if she didn't do that…"
"Speaking of which, how much Eris did everyone get from the cabbage…..seasonal season. Still weird on how it functions." Kazuma asked the group.
Yunyun pulled up a piece of paper. "Well, we collected around 50 SSS Tear Cabbages, 20 SSS Tear Lettuce, 30 SS Tear Cabbages, 15 SS Tear Lettuce, 25 S Tear Cabbages, 10 S Tear Lettuce, 20 A Tear Cabbages, 8 A Tear Lettuce, 15 B Tear Cabbages, 5 B Tear Lettuce, 10 C Tear Cabbages, and 1 C Tear Lettuce, as well as all three Lettuce Recipes you showed the guild getting Royalties from those as well, and the new pricing for demand of said Lettuce, we're looking to about 7,217,900 Eris and rising with the 25% Royalty fee for all food made from our recipes."
"7 MILLION!?" They heard a shout coming from the guild entrance. Taking a look, they saw that Aqua stood there with a shock expression while having numerous spider bites and pieces of web on her.
"Well, look who decided to joi-"
"Ohhhh Kazuma~ Greeeg-~"
"We already know what you want and the answer is no."
"Hard pass."
"Uhuhuhuhuhuhu! Please! I need at least 200 thousand Eris! I spent all my money on tabs and if I don't pay it back I'll be in more trouble if I don't pay it back sooner!" Aqua cried to Kazuma and Greg.
Cue to two suspicious men who had knives on their hands and looking maliciously at Aqua.
"... It's been less than two days and you already owe at least 200 thousand Eris?" Greg asked Aqua in bafflement and annoyance.
"I WAS GOING TO PAY IT BACK FROM THE HARVEST THAT YOU ALL MADE ME MISS!" Aqua roared at them, fire in her eyes, a strange thing, sense she's a water goddess.
"Ugh, one second." Greg groaned out in frustration before instantly teleporting to the two men with the coin sacks on his hand. "Here you go, 200 thousand Eris."
"Thank you kind sir." The man said while taking the coin sack. "Word of advice, you really need to keep her in check if you don't want your finances to be in total ruin." The man advised Greg before leaving.
""Trust us, we're trying…"" both Greg and Kazuma said at the same time in a deadpan manner.
"Okay, now that that's settle-"
"Oh no you don't," Greg stated., unimpressed. "You now owe me 200 thousand Eris."
"WHAT!?" Aqua shouted in shock.
"You heard me. I paid your debt and now you're gonna have to work under me, paying back the money you owe me." Greg said to Aqua.
"But-but I'm your teammate! I'm a goddess! Why do I have to owe anything to you?!"
"Do you see this face?" Greg gestured at his deadpan expression. "Does this look like I give a fuck Aqua?"
"...Yyesss?"
Greg facepalmed. "What am I gonna do with you?" he said to Aqua in a frustrated tone.
"Forgive me and let the debt slide?" Aqua asked, acting innocent.
CCRACCK!
Greg's eye twitched while gripping his fist so hard his bones cracked. "You know what? That's it." He takes something out from his inventory and instantly locks it around Aqua, revealing it to be a black leather collar with spikes on it.
Aqua gulped. "W-What's this?"
"What I should've done from the beginning. This is [Fenrir glaive], a collar that is used in order to discipline disobedient pets."
"YOU GAVE ME THAT MUTT'S COLLAR?! HOW DO YOU HAVE THAT COLLAR?!"
"Not important, what is important is this! You will not drink ANY alcoholic beverages without me, and Kazuma's permission!"
"YOU CAN'T DO THAT!"
"We can and we will," Greg stated.. "I've had enough of your behavior. Until you play me back fully, you can't even touch the cheek stuff."
"Hah! You cannot stop a goddess like me! You forget that dispelling curses is my specialty. I can free myself. [Sacred Dispel]!" Aqua said while casted a spell around her collar.
POOF!
Until it made a poof sound and nothing happened at all neither did it freed her from the collar.
"Wh-What?! How did it not work!"
"That's simple-"
"[Sacred Dispel]! [Sacred Dispel]! [Sacred Dispel]!"

"If you let me expla-"

"Listen dammit!" Greg shouted, after hitting Aqua on the head. "The reason it didn't work is because it's not a cursed item! It's-"
"How is it a simple magical item that isn't associated with curses or hexes? If it was, it shouldn';t even work on me because of how powerful my magic is!"
"Can you be silent for a moment?"
The collar glowed in a purple aura, making Aqua mouth shut itself. Aqua had a surprise reaction and muffled through her closed lips as she tried to get them open but couldn't.
"That's better, now, the item is a magical item like you said but it is most commonly used to train mounts or pets before they are fully trained and prepared to listen and obey orders." Greg said to Aqua.
Aqua made some angry noises and stomped her legs, showing her displeasure and whiny attitude. She then splashed him with water due to her anger.
"...I'll add another 100 thousand Eris into your debt if you do that again."
Aqua nearly choked hearing that. She wanted to cry out that he couldn't do that to her.
"I will say this once AQUA." Greg emphasized her name. "I don't care who your father is, I don't care if you're a goddess or whatever you are, you will learn how to be a valuable member of our group and if you cannot learn that, well I think the simple answer is no booze for the rest of your life. Am I clear?"
Aqua looked aghast, the nerve of this man, saying she, a goddess, was a hindrance. She was grinding her teeth, and pointed to her mouth to want to speak.
"I'm with Greg here, Useless Goddess," Kazuma said to Aqua. "If you don't learn how to behave, I will and believe me tell every bar there is in town to ban you from entering their bar. Do you want that to happen?"
Aqua began to pale from Kazuma's threat and shook her head rapidly.
"Like what Greg said, are we clear?"
In the end, Aqua couldn't do anything, the fact she has the collar of the God killer wolf on her neck she is powerless. All she could do was comply with their orders. She slumped and let out a sigh. She pointed to her mouth again, this time in a pleading way to want to talk again to say something that wasn't an insult or anything of the like.
Greg waved his hand, causing her mouth to unzip and finally allowing her to speak.
Aqua felt her lips unlock. "If I take a job by myself to earn the whole reward and pay you back, will that prove it to you?" She asked, hoping.
"Yes, that is if you could handle it yourself." Kazuma snickered under his breath.
Aqua pushed down her anger, not going for the jab. She then walked over to the quest board, serious about showing she was not useless. "I'll just take a job that'll fit me and net me a lot of Eris quic- Ahaha! Here!" Aqua shouted, pulling down a quest. "A Lake has been polluted so badly that monsters have claimed it. Now they need someone to help purify it and it should get rid of the monsters. And it's 200,000 Eris!"
"Huh, what do you know?" Greg said in amazement. "There's a quest with something that you can do without screwing up."
Aqua got hit with an arrow that had the Kanji for 'Screw Up'.
"Yeah, purifying is just something so simple for a Useless Goddess like you." Kazuma said to Aqua.
Again got hit with an arrow with the Kanji for 'Useless'.
"Just wonder how long it will last until you complete it, less than a minute before they no longer need you."
A rock slammed on her with the Kanji for 'No Longer Needed'.
Aqua was doing her damned not to roar in anger at the two, and wanting so badly to hit them with a God Blow.
"A-Aren't you being a bit harsh to her?" Yunyun asked them, shaking and not wanting them mad at her. "Y-You're starting to act like she does when she does it to you two."
Both were hit with an arrow with the Kanji for 'Acting Like Aqua' from Yunyun words, as imaginary lightning struck behind them.
"W-We're not acting like her, are we?" Kazumas asked, worried.
"... I-I'm afraid to even think on the matter, let alone answer the question," Greg said, face pale as a ghost.
"Hah! Now who's acting high and mighty no-"
BONK!
Aqua groaned, holding her head. "Why…?" she groaned in pain.
"And she was doing so well," Kazuma said, sighing.
Taylor sighs. "Will you guys stop acting like children?"
"Fine, fine." Greg waved his hand at Taylor before looking at the quest. "It says here that to take teammates for extra precaution for…." Leaning a bit closer to the board. "Man-eating crocodiles mating seasons?" He said with both his eyes raised.
".. I'm sorry, what was that?" Taylor asked, not sure if she heard right. "I think I misheard what you said."
"Oh, you heard alright," Kazuma stated, groaning.
"Aqua, are you sure you want to go through this quest? Even I know it's dangerous to go there and purify that lake and the worst is that it's mating season." Greg asked Aqua.
Aqua grabbed the paper back from him and looked serious. "I'm doing it, and that's final. I ask the guild for an Adamantite cage they have for capturing dangerous monsters to keep me safe. It would be a loan, so I'd return it after I'm done."
Kazuma's jaw dropped. "Okay, she's actually taking this seriously. Who are you, and what have you don-" He was cut off by a dope-slap over the head by Taylor.
"Be nice, she's actually putting in the work to prove to us."
"W-We should go with her!" Yunyun said to the group. "I-It'll be too dangerous for her to go alone!"
"We'll go only to supervise," Taylor stated. "She wants to do the quest on her own, and we should respect that decision."
"Fine." Greg replied to Taylor. "I hate to say this but there is no way she'll screw this up. Wouldn't you agree with Kazuma."
"I hate to agree with you but yes."
"That's pe-"
"And you're still not allowed to use explosions." Greg interrupted Megumin. "Until we get to learning other spells that don't result in massive collateral damage or bunches of angry letters you aren't even gonna touch that spell Megumin."
Megumin deflated from his answer.
"I am also keeping your staff and bracelet rune confiscated until then as well," Greg added. "You will be on the sidelines until you learn said spells."
"I-Isn't that a b-bit harsh on h-her?" Yunyun asked Greg with concern.
"Yunyun, she nearly blew up the whole city… I'm being generous with her punishment…" Greg said in a deadpan. "I could have fordaided her from ever being an adventure again, and had her magic permanently sealed for the rest of her life for that stunt."
All Magic users paled hearing that.
Megumin paled not from her not being able to use explosive magic (Which she is damn proud of) but from the real punishment Greg would've given her if she kept being so reckless with her explosion magic.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Aqua said to the group before heading out to the quest location.
"We're coming, we're coming." Greg said to Aqua before he and the rest of the group followed her.
(Polluted lake)
SPLASH!
Greg telekinetically placed the cage in the dirty lake with Aqua in the cage.
"Ok, this is all I can do for now. The rest is up to you Aqua, all you gotta do is purify this lake."
"I already know what to do mo-I mean Greg." Aqua corrected herself. "Let me show you what a lake goddess like me can do! [Purification]!" She then sat in the water, her body glowing.
"... So, how long should this take?" Taylor asked again.
"Maybe an hour," Aqua answered.
"Well, if we're gonna pass some time, we might as well be patient." Greg said to the group before jumping towards the tree and sitting on the branch. "I've always wanted to do this."
"Showoff." Kazuma said to Greg.
"I can't help it if my Trigger made me my Game Character," Greg said the same line again, shrugging.
Kazuma rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah."
"I thought there was supposed to be giant man eating crocodiles in this polluted lake?" Darkness asked, almost whining.
"Did anyone bring a pack of cards?" Taylor asked. "We will need to pass the time."
"I do," Yunyun said, pulling some out. "I-I've always wanted to play games with someone…"
"Well then what are you waiting for, pass the deck." Kazuma said to Yunyun.
"O-Ok." Yunyun said to Kazuma before handing him the deck.
Kazuma shuffled the deck while Taylor brought in the giant rhino bug that is the size of the table, laying down in front of them, acting as a table.
"Alright gentlemen… and ladies. Just a word of warning, this is a game of luck so don't get your high hopes and count your luck. Who wins, who loses and who dies."
"You're just exaggerating Kazuma." Greg said to his friend, getting down from the tree branch and sat in front of the rhino bug with the others. "Just 'cause you have high luck doesn't mean you'll get lucky in poker."
"We'll just see about that~" Kazuma said smugly. "Place your bets! Unless you want to proof that you have nothing in your wallet."
"Come on, Kazuma it's a just a game, there's no reason to-"
Ten minutes later~!
"YOU'VE GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!" Greg said while looking angrily at the smug Kazuma who had lots of gold coins he's literally sitting on a gold coin throne. "THIS IS NO WAY IT'S LEGIT! YOUR CHEATING!"
"NO ONE IS THAT LUCKY!" Taylor also joined in the argument.
"I am that lucky~" Kazuma said, smirking.
"Like hell you a-"
CLING!
They were interrupted when they heard something clinging against the cage causing it to shake.
"Wh-What the?!" Aqua said in surprise.
"Huh?" Greg said in confusion while he and the others joined in his confusion. "Did something just press itself on the cage?"
"I'm not sure," Megumin stated.
"Should we go check?" Taylor asked.
"Uhhhhh, g-guys." Yunyun stutteringly spoke while pointing at the bob on the water.
Just then, five or eight giant ass 25 feet long alligators/crocodiles/whatever shot out of the water and attacked the cage, making Aquia cry out in fear.
"Holy crap!" Taylor shouted in fear.
"Ah crap! I forgot about the mating season!" Greg shouted in worry.
"Get out of there Aqua!" Kazuma shouted to the goddess, despite her being useless, greek, and dimwitted, he doesn't want her to be that much in danger.
"NOOOOOO! GOTTA DO THIS! [PURIFICATION! [PURIFICATION! [PURIFICATION! [PURIFICATION! [PURIFICATION!"

"AAAAHHHHHH!"
"DAMMIT AQUA! HOLD ON WE'RE COMIN-"
"NOOOOOO! I HAVE TO DO THIS!"
"JESUS CHRIST AQUA, YOUR GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED!"
"THE CAGE IS MADE TO TAKE THIS KIND OF ATTACK! I WILL SHOW I'M NOT USELESS!"
"DAMMIT AQUAAAAAAAA!"
Ten minutes later
Kazuma, Taylor, Megumin, Yunyun and Darkness (Though she seems more enjoying fighting with all the electrostatics dancing around, breathing erotically and… I better not say anymore) all panting while covered in blood as around them were corpses of man-eating crocodiles while Greg managed to lift the cage out of the lake which was completely purified and sparkling.
"Ok, that was most intense, nearly most of us are pretty sure Megumin almost got eaten by those crocodiles but the good news is the lake is purified." Greg said to the group before going back to Aqua. "Honestly, I'm surprised and so far, you did manage to complete your job, great work Aqua."
"..."
"When we get back to the guild, you can consider your debt to be paid and you won't have to wear that collar anymore."
"..."
"Now let's get you out of that ca-"
"Don't."
"EH!?" everyone asked in surprise, looking at Aqua.
"I'm staying in this cage for the rest of my life," Aqua looked up, looking pale and her eyes were dull with no life in them. "I'm never leaving the city ever again…"
"What the hell do you me-"
"Ahhh great." Greg muttered under his breath. "She's traumatized."
"Oh you've gotta be kidding me."
Taylor gave Kazuma a flat look. "Oh, and you wouldn't have been, having about half a dozen of those giant ass monsters trying to turn you into a snack?"
"Hey I wasn't the one who wanted to stay in the cage or picked this quest." Kazuma retorted at Taylor.
"B-But she was willing to show she was willing to finish her job," Yunyun started, shaking.
"The better question is how long is she gonna be like this for." Kazuma said to the group while gesturing at Aqua. "She can't stay in the cage forever."
"I think giving her time, and showing she actually did a good job might help?" Yunyun suggested, unsure.
"... I hate to say it, but I think she earned a bottle of the good stuff after all this," Greg said, sighing. "Let her come out to get it, but let her do it slowly, like a cat."
"Can't argue there." Kazuma agreed with Greg. "Alright she earned this, just one drink that's it."
"I was going to be nice and let her have two," Greg said, looking away with a sheepish look. "That too much?"
"Considering she was almost mauled by those things, I think two is good enough."
"Fair enough, let's just get back to town then and collect the reward." Greg said, not before addressing the other question.
"And turn in the gators for their meat and skins as well," Taylor added, pointing her thumb at the slayed beasts."
"Though, does anyone know how to skin a crocodile?" Greg asked the group, Yunyun raising her hand.
"I-I wanted to be versatile so I learned a lot of skills…" she answered, smiling nervously. Megumin did as well.
"I… Had to hunt a lot for my next meal… So me and my family wouldn't go hungry…" Megumin said, none of her bombast attitude showing.
Kazuma gave Greg a flat look. "Why is it that the Mages know how to do something like this…?"
"Well, some do need ingredients for potions, so I guess it tracks," Greg said, shrugging. He was in the mood for Gator Jerky, and was going to show how that was made to the guild. ("I've had Gator Jerky before and it was good," Light said, popping up in the corner, Chibi style.)
(Belzerg Town Street)
They pushed a cart that had a caged Aqua in it as she sang a song about the cage while other people looked at the group.
"Ok, her singing gives me the creeps."
"You mean weirdness Kazuma." Greg said to his friend.
"Dude she's been doing this for the entire trip and I'm starting to think she's mentally traumatized big time." Taylor stated. "I wouldn't be surprised if this would have caused a trigger if she was in our world…"
"This really proves another fact: she's been sheltered her entire life." Greg commented. "I wonder what heaven is like?"
"She told me that heaven was literally a boring place where you could do nothing but just fly around, hang out with people and do nothing. A place of paradise she says." Kazuma answered Greg's question.
"... I think she was lying to you so she could send you and others here instead…" Taylor said in a deadpan.
"... This gives me another reason to hate Greek Gods."
"What about Kratos?" Greg asked.
"If he's real then the entire greek pantheon would be gone and we won't have to worry about those bunches of-"
"Ok we've said enough about the greek gods." Taylor interrupted Kazuma. "We can discuss this later when we turn in the loot Kazuma."
"Right, right, sorry… though if he is real, I would like to meet him in real life…" Kazuma muttered out the last part to himself.
"Fanboy later, we still need to have Aqua get her reward, get the money for the meat, skins and Jerky making, and return the cage so we don't have to pay for it," Greg stated.
"Yeah ok, let's just hope that nothing bad or worse could happe-"
"LADY AQUA!"
"... I spoke too soon didn't I?" Kazuma quietly spoke.
""Yes you did dumbass."" Greg and Taylor said to Kazuma, sighing before turning his attention to the person who called out to Aqua.
The group of seven turned to see a group of three, two girls and one guy, and the guy was pointing his sword at them.
The man had light brown hair, blue eyes and a fit physique. He wears over a black mesh a full set of plate armor with glimmering blue color and gold gilded borders, as well as a wing motif on the chest area. Under his armor he wears a black cape hanging from his shoulders. A loose scarf-like red collar covers his neck area, and on his head partially hidden by his hair he wears a gold circlet with a blue jewel in the center. He has his sword hanging in a black sheath on his waist. Overall, his appearance is reminiscent of a knight in shining armor or charming prince.
One of the girls was a petite girl with purple eyes and green hair tied up in a ponytail. She wears a black and purple tube top along with a long blue scarf around her neck as well as dark brown stockings with green diamond markings on both sides and light brown boots.
And the last member was a young girl with maroon colored hair tied in two braids and purple eyes. She wears an orange tube top with a brown v-neck cut as well as an orange skirt with white frills underneath, in addition to a short white hooded coat with two blue diamond shaped pins.
Greg sighs, and walks up to the party of three. "Greetings, I take it that you are Kyouya Mitsurugi and his party, are you not?"
"Lady Aqua! What are you doing in this cage? Did they imprison you or somethin?"
"And he's ignoring me…" Greg deadpanned at Mitsurugi.
Taylor tried next. "Uh, hi, if you'd just take a moment for us to explain what's going on-"
"Fair maiden, are you the one who had summoned my goddess to this world she sent me to?" Mitsurugi asked, cutting her off.
'Oh god, he's the naive prince charming character…" Taylor groaned, wanting to facepalm. "If you'd just allow us to speak, Sir Mitsurugi, then we can explain the situation without you jumping to conclusions…" Taylor said, trying the fantasy way of talking.
"Have these vile degenerate createns had their way with you?"
"Oh come on man! If you just let me explai-"
"Silence! I shall not hear anything from those who imprisoned Lady Aqua!" He said before jumping to the cart and putting his hand over the bar.
"Hey wait! We're renting that cage and she isn'-"
CCRACCKK!
He didn't listen and managed to bend the cage bars with his bar hands.
"... I say that we tell the guild that we didn't damage the cage and it was him." Kazuma said to Greg.
"Agreed, at least we won't get in trouble."
Taylor looked annoyed now. "Okay pal, you're going way too far!" she shouted, grabbing him by the shoulder, but then his two party members grabbed her and dragged her back.
"What do you think you're doing, touching Sir Mitsurugi like that!?" the green haired girl shouted.
"Don't think you can take him from us," the pink haired woman said.
Taylor facepalmed. "Oh for the love of… He just broke guild property! I was going to tell him off for that!"
"Master Mitsurugi did nothing wrong!" the pink haired girl stated. "You were the one imprisoning someone! He was just setting them free!"
Taylor was starting to get irritated, to the point all the bugs in the city were about to swarm around her. "She was not imprisoned, you idiots! Taylor gave Aqua a flat look. "... I'm starting to see why you were kicked out of Heaven Aqua… You're treble at your job… And you don't/didn't act like you should in your role…"
"Huh fair Madan, you do not know what you speak of," Mitsurugi stated. "You are just jealous of her divine looks."
Taylor finally had it and grabbed him by the front of his armor and brought the two face to face, anger rolling off her like an aura, bugs swarming the two making the two girls squeal in fright and hug each other. "LISTEN HERE YOU OVER ZEALOU MEATHEAD MORRON! AND GET IT THROUGH THAT THICK SKULL OF YOUR'S! WE DID NOT PUT AQUA IN THAT CAGE! THAT CAGE WAS GUILD PROPERTY AND YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY BACK THE DAMAGES TO IT! SHE WAS IN THAT CAGE TO HELP A TOWN CLEAN A LAKE THAT GOT POLLUTED TOP HELP US! WE WERE COMING BACK TO HELP HER AFTER A TRAUMATIC EVENT THAT SHE WENT THROUGH AFTER THE MISSION! Taylor nodded. "Good. But you and your two teammates will have to come with us to explain why our retail cage became a fully purchased item."
"A-At least we'll have something to protect us if need be," Yunyun said, looking at the positive side. "Especially for me and Megumin. And Greg can store it with his powers, can't he?"
"... Yunyun, I'm starting to see why Greg and Kazuma like you the most in the team," Taylor stated, not thinking of that until she brought it up.
"Hey!" came the cries of Aqua and Megumin.

Taylor gave Darkness a flat look, before sighing and turning her attention back to Mitsurugi. "Anyways, you're still going to have to help pay off the cage you broke."

"I refuse." Greg said to Mitsurugi, turning away with Kazuma and the others as they walked away from Mitsurugi as he comedically fell to the ground.
"Wait! Do you not have honor as heroes!?" Mitsurugi shouted at them, sitting up.
"I do," Taylor stated. "But you do not seem to know the first thing about being a hero." An arrow with the kanji for 'No Hero' hits Mitsurugi in the chest.

"HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW THAT?!"

His two party members looked aghast at Mitsurugi going to someplace like that.

Mitsurugi froze up when he heard one of the girls calling out his name. He turned around slowly to look and saw his two female party members had murderous auras around them, while fire was in the background.

"We've been chasing after you affections, but you never noticed!" the green haired girl shouted as well, both getting close to his face.

"Yup, let this be a lesson to you." Kazuma said to Mitsurugi.

Kazuma narrowed his eyes on him. "You know what? Whatever happens to you I don't care anymore, to think I actually thought you were a decent man."
"Says the man who steals women's undergarments," Mitsurugi stated, hearing the rumors.
Kazuma looked at them. "So, do we want to fight him one on one, or three against one?"
"One is enough, I'll just beat his ass down to the grave." Greg said while cracking his knuckles.

The woman had frizzy brown curly hair and freckles from forehead to chin, packed densely enough that there were as many brown freckles as pink skin. She wore a robe with a large hood and a scarf that covered the lower half of her face. The robe was alabaster white and had a medic's red cross on the chest and the back.
"Now don't be reckless, just cause I fixed your spine, doesn't it will bre-"

"I will Ms. Panacea. It is still a miracle that we are thankful for you, since you're here. The injury and death rate has diminished by a lot!" The man said to Panacea.

"Still thank you once again Ms. Panacea. Here is the gold as payment and have a nice day." The man said, taking out a coin patch and dropped it at the bin before leaving.
Panacea watched him leave her tent for a second before sighing.
"What, your already tired sis?" Another woman spoke to Panacea making her shift the other direction as another woman entered the tent.
A tall, platinum blonde, young woman. She wears a white one-piece dress that ends in a skirt at her mid-thigh with shorts underneath, an over-the-shoulder cape, high boots and a golden tiara with spikes radiating from it. This was Victoria Dallon, otherwise known as Glory Girl.(Dark: I have to be honest, Glory Girl? That's almost close to saying a glory hole. Light/Xara: … I wouldn't put it past her to be a dirty joke at times…)
Amy shook her head. "It's not that Victoria, I'm just not used to this."
"Used to what? Staying up late, working at the hospital 24/7 without our mom nagging or bitching that you're not doing your job properly?"
Amy looked away. "I just… I like helping people, even if it means I collapse."
"No one is pressuring you sis." Victoria said to Amy. "In fact people here are a lot nicer back at home….. well maybe except for a lot of perverts here." She scowled before shaking her head. "You have a lot of breaks here and the best part, these people are actually thankful off you."

Amy healed Mitsurugi and he was smitten by her beauty, literally asking her to join his group. She declined but he, Mitsurugi insisted, tried many ways of wooing, and small talk it was getting annoying for her and Victoria.
It's gotten so bad that he repeated this for weeks and wouldn't leave them alone. She nearly punched him through a building if she didn't pulverize a bolder next to him to get the point across.
"What the hell did that idiot do this time…?" Victoria asked, annoyed and wanting to hit something… hard. "Did he try to force a member of his party to join his party or something?"
"No! I heard the rumors that the famed adventurer shamed the hero Mitsurugi and he wants to restore his honor ma'am, challenging him to a duel."
"Is this when this adventurer discovered him going to the succubus distri-OMMPH!" Amy covered her sister's mouth from mentioning the succubus district to the little boy since he's still young.
"I don't know ma'am but the duel is taking place soon! Better hurry before the arena is packed!" The boy said to Amy before rushing out of the tent.
Amy looked to her sister. "Should we go see it?"
"Hell yeah! If this adventurer was bold enough to humiliate him, I wanna see his face getting smashed to pieces!" Victoria said to her sister in an excited tone.
"... You're still annoyed with him, aren't you…?" Amy asked in a deadpan.
"He wouldn't leave us alone for a week Amy! A FUCKING WEEL! The guy had a stick up his ass and he wouldn't shut up about his accomplishment and his damn sword." She had her hands in a throttling position. "I was so, SO tempted to ring the little twips neck and then break that damnable sword in two! It actually hurt me!"

Both Greg and Mitsurugi were on opposite sides of the arena, Greg popping his neck while Mitsurugi did a few practice sword swings.
"You know, you could just stop this foolishness, if you just admitted that you were in the wrong," Greg sytated, giving Mitsurugi one last chance to back out of this.
"Never! I will never admit to the likes of you!" Mitsurugi shouted, pointing at Greg with his sword.
Greg just sighs. "Don't say I didn't warn you." He then summoned a Void Sword. "Just dude, stop trying to prove that you're the 'better' man."
"But I was blessed by Lady Aqua to save this world," Mitsurugi stated.
"For like thrown into this world to deal with her crap."
"HEY!" Aqua shouted at the stand.
"You dare insult Lady Aqua?!"
Greg wanted to facepalm. "She's literally sent dozens of people here, with just the clothes on their backs and a boon, nothing less nothing more… No map, no money, no equipment…" Greg said dully. "She didn't even know anything about the world she's supposed to look over. Also, her father is Poseidon as well, and coddled her…"

There were both cheers and boos for the man.
"And in the other corner, the man that can wield the Void, a man of many spells and skills, and was able to help defeat a Frog King Boss, a Demon General reserve. Give it up for Greg Veder!"

"Now here are the rules!
1: There is absolutely no killing within the arena. Any moves or attempt of lethal assault will result in an immediate disqualification and banned from adventure guild for the rest of their life! We have our resident healer, Ms. Panacea here to help who kindly offered her service to us." He gestured at the person who was viewing at the top center, waving her hand to the crowd.
Greg widened his eyes in surprise. "Wait what?! Panacea?!" he shouted in surprise.
Taylor also widened her eyes. "She's here as well?!"
"2: An adventurer is defeated once he is either knocked out or is in no condition to fight. Please advise to not use lethal attacks as recommended by the healing mages.
And finally 3: The winner shall take one item from their opponents as spoils of war. Any questions?"
"Yeah, how is a win decided?" Greg asked, wanting to make sure that Mitsurugi said he cheated.
"The person either is incapable of fighting, forfeits the match or is knocked out for 10 seconds," the announcer answered.
"Fair enough." Greg said to the announcer, which he nodded his head and stepped back.
"The round begins in 3!"
Mitsurugi put his sword in front and held it with both hands. "You'll be finished with one slash!"

Greg lifted his sword over his face, covering his while his eyes glinted in purple light. "We'll see about that, Mitsurugi."

Two wave-slashes clashed with each other, one was white and the other was dark/purple as the dark/purple seemed to be more stronger and pounced at the white wave before devouring it.

Everyone in the audience was blown back slightly, making them cheer at the fight going hard already, while Megumin's eyes sparked. "Did they make an explosion with two attacks!?"
Dust clouded the arena for a second, covering the whole area before clearing up. Showing Mitsurugi in a downward slash position with his eyes widened in surprise.

"Well….. that was quick." Kazuma widened his eyes and was taken aback. "I knew he was this strong but goddamn he's this strong? What a surprise."
"... Is it wrong that I was hoping for the match to be a little more… I don't know, what's the word….?" Yunyun asked, trying to find the trite word to use here.
"Dramatic? Captivating? Spectatical?" Taylor asked. "... Honestly, for all his boasting, I thought Mitsurugi would have at least put up a decent fight."
"Ah man! Where was the fighting, the passion, the epic explosions when blade meets blade! What a rip off!" Megumin shouted, irritated.
"Now claim your prize!" The announcer said to Greg.
"There is nothing to take from him since his armor was destroyed, could've been useful for Kazuma but the thing broke after slash." Greg muttered under his breath before shrugging. "Fuck it, I'll take his sword." He said before walking and picked up the Gram Sword with little effort. "... Seriously, the Sword isn't even magically bonded to him…?" Greg asked in a deadpan. "Someone seriously needs to make sure Aqua did her job properly… This is just lazy at this point…"

"Don't worry, none of those are gonna be nuke destroying calamity destruction…. I hope."
"What do you mean 'I hope'?"
"Anyway, since we're free for most of the day. I'll start teaching you when we get back to the camp."
"Huzzah!"
"...Why do I get the feeling I should be more worried about Greg teaching her explosion than her combined explosion?" Kazuma said while feeling dread for some reason.
"I'm more worried about what he has in mind with the others…" Taylor stated.
"What's that supposed to me-"
"WAAAAAHHHH!"
They suddenly jumped when they heard a baby crying and screaming out loud all of a sudden, it was so powerful they clamped their ears (While Darkness seemed more aroused by the screaming (Dark: Should I be more concerned how much this woman loves pain? Light/Xara: You do know who you're talking about… right…?).)
"GAAAHHHHH! WHAT IS THAT SOUND?!"
"ALL THIS SCREAM IS MAKING ME HAVE A DAMN HEADACHE!"
"AH~! ALL THIS SCREAMING, IT'S ALMOST AS IF IT'S GONNA MAKE ME DEAF~!"
"DAMMIT WOMAN! NOW'S NOT THE TIME!"
Greg looked left and right, trying to look for the source of where the screaming was coming from. Using his void sense, he managed to locate it in an alley. Rushing toward it while everyone was still distracted.
Soon, the scream slowly stopped, and then it died down.
"Phew! I thought I was gonna go deaf there!" Kazuma sighed in relief.
"What the hell was that anyway?" Taylor asked them.
"Ugh! It sounded like one of those damn sirens my daddy always talked about!" Aqua said in anger. "If there are any of them here I'll give them a full brute of my God's Blow!"
Just then, they heard… Giggling?
"Uhhhh, guys?" Greg spoke to them. Turning to him as he walked toward them carrying what seems like a brown blanket bundle on his arms, his eyes were shocked.
"Greg, what's wrong?" Kazuma spoke to him in concern.
They heard giggling from the blanket that Greg carried in his arms. Taylor widened her eyes before narrowing them. "Did someone abandon a baby?" She said while walking towards Greg.
"Aahhhhhh, it must be sooooo cute~!" Aqua cooed while rushing at the brown bundle. "Who's a good little baby? You are! Yes you are, yes you ar-?!" Aqua widened her eyes when she peaked under the brown bundle, and Taylor mimicked the water goddess. "Oh….my…father…"
"Seriously dude, what did you find? And what's with the faces?" Kazuma said in confusion towards them. "What's wrong?"
Instead of answering, Greg just showed them.
It was a baby, but an equine baby, she had a light pink coat, her mane hairstyle was pastel purple with light blue and lavender streaks depicted as wavy and flowing. Her eyes were light blue, large and expressive.
"...Oh." Kazuma said with a perfect goldfish expression.
[The Gods in the stream were shocked, surprised and taken back]
[Goddess of silver moon asked in confusion: "What and how did an equine baby get here?"]
[Goddess of Storytelling commented/asked: "Did someone send her here as a joke or something? Because this isn't funny at all."]
[Bringer of Chaos looked in shock before laughing as he spoke: "Oh boy! Looks like things just got a whole lot funnier now! I knew it was a good decision to join the stream!"]
Greg looked at the little equine baby as she giggled at him.
"...Why is this happening to me? Did I piss off a luck god or something?"
"Greg, why are you looking in the air?" Yunyun asked.
"Nothing, just wondering how this little…baby's family is doing now."
"Couldn't be that bad could it?" Kazuma asked his friend.
The other's weren't so sure about that.
(Somewhere in Equis)
At a large crystal castle.
"FFFFFFFFLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY!"
"MMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYY BBBAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYY!"

Hahahahahahahaahaha! Didn't expect that now did ya?! First the gods watch Greg through the stream, in a new system and now it looks like a certain Alicorn baby has fallen, quite literally in Greg's arms! Now he has a lot to deal with, hahahahahaha!
Light/Xara: When I thought things couldn't get crazier. … Should I bring in someone from one of my favorite games.
