Rebuild SKL Is Kaiser
ESKK: Let's begin chapter 2 I hope you all enjoy the new update.
(Start Battlefield Kaiser)
Skull Pilder had detached from Kaiser some time ago as clearly it had been a long night. The entire battlefield was covered in destroyed EVA parts as no doubt WILLE may try to salvage what they can to repair the damages. At the moment the two Skull Pilots were waiting around with one of them holding a water canteen and the other eating dried meet.
Just then VTOLS were seen descending upon the area and from there surrounded the pair and Kaiser. Akira grinned to this as Kuzo kept his smirk as well. "Was starting to wonder when they would get off their asses." Akira said making it clear he did not like to wait around for long.
Soon enough some of the VTOLS began to land on the ground and in turn Akira's instincts went off for a bit. From there they saw some of the WILLE Command staff exit the VTOL as well as one of the pilots judging by the Plug Suit she was wearing. Of course, the blond and the glaring barite girl seemed to be taken aback when their eyes landed on Akira with his water canteen.
Asuka did not share such compulsions as she had a bone to pick with the two pilots. Not knowing who made the call she decided to go for her basic move. "Which one of you was it?" Asuka asked as she glared at the pair. "Which one of you cut my EVA's legs off?" Asuka asked glaring at the pair who looked to each other.
"I did." Akira said with a smirk on his face feeling he knew where this was going.
The next thing Asuka did was clench her fist. "Good." Asuka said and then she sent that fist at Akira. Then to Asuka's shock Akira redirected the attack took Asuka's arm and flipped her to the ground. The next thing Asuka knew was being pinned down and finding a dagger stabbed into the ground inches from her face. Asuka's widened eye reflected off the daggers blade as she saw herself mere inches away from being killed on the spot.
"That was a warning try this shit again and your fucking dead." Akira said as he then let go of Asuka and sheathed his dagger. Asuka meanwhile got back up but before she could move Ritsuko cut in on that.
"Asuka enough!" Ritsuko scolded as she knew that these two were highly dangerous. She and the others had not taken Aila's warning seriously but now they will. More so the fact that Akira seemed to bear a striking resemblance to the still missing Shinji Ikari.
"That's right listen to the hag it'll save your life." Akira said showing he was edging Asuka on and by extension Ritsuko with that hag comment he had just made.
"Anyway." Ritsuko cut in before Asuka could lash out again. "Look while we appreciated what you did for us, we would like to ask you a few questions and run some tests." Ritsuko said making it clear that she meant them no harm whatsoever. She would rather not instigate the guys who may be more than willing to cut them up and shoot them down without a single regret.
"Hate those science types." Akira said scratching his head a bit showing he was not overly fond of being probed.
"It's just a small test blood works and what not." Ritsuko said assuring the blade user that there was nothing to concern himself with. "Plus, we have questions pertaining to Kaiser that we need answers to." Ritsuko said wanting to know where Kaiser came from, who built it, and why wait until now to deploy it.
"Well then lead the way." Kuzo said stepping in and simply taking it. "But word of warning fuck with us and this guy will be the least of your concerns." Kuzo said pointing his thumb over to where Kaiser stood.
"Noted." Ritsuko said as she knew the crew had ample reason to be afraid of what Kaiser can do here. After all it would have to be a true monster to be able to wipe out an entire army of NERV's Evangelion Units like that.
(Scene Break over in NERV)
Gendo stood over the scene as he saw Unit-13's womb. Looking upon it he knew that time was not on their side especially since they cannot access Unit-01 like they hoped. But there was still time and while he did not have Unit-01 neither did WILLE.
This put them in a deadlock more so since WILLE have finally crossed paths with Kaiser the interloper of this scenario. Still this Skull Robot was proving to be an exceptionally difficult foe to best but where did it come from is the issue. The next Rei was due to awaken soon and Gendo knew that he can't just jeep throwing EVA's at an enemy like this especially one that seems to thrive on violence.
But if this skull robot were to join with WILLE then Gendo knew that his foes will become much more dangerous. For now, he was still in control and soon he would be reunited with Yui. Just then Fuyutsuki appeared before Gendo.
"She is awake if you wish to see her." Kouzu said as he looked to Unit-13.
"Will she be able to perform her tasks?" Gendo asked as they were running short of clones.
"Yes." Kouzu said and thus Gendo nodded to this.
"Then that is all the matters." Gendo said and in turn
(Scene Break back at Hachiryokaku)
Aila was once more floating over the pool of water as the Priestess of this fortress was deep in meditation. Floating there she was trying to learn what she could of their devil and of events to come. Speaking chanting words, one would hear from a Buddhist images formed above her.
She soon saw the shadow of Kaiser form in her viewing stone. "Why do you appear in this form Devil?" Aila asked as she tried to learn what she could. Soon Kaiser was replaced by the shadow forms of Akira and Kuzo which began to give her a better idea. Soon she saw the one she assumed to be Akira's form take the form of an awakened Evangelion Unit-01 and a beast mode Evangelion Unit-02. The one she assumed to be Kuzo's form took the shape of a being amongst many like him. This provided Aila an idea a clearer picture of why this Devil had appeared and what its destiny was.
(Meanwhile on the Wundur)
In the medical room Ritsuko had just finished running her tests on both Akira and Kuzo. Misato was contacting the UN to see what she can learn about them try to see if there was any information on the pair. Kaiser was retrieved and loaded with the EVA Units onto the ship while the Skull Pilder was moved to another hanger bay.
Anyway, she planned to study those later even more so since rumors had begun to spread. The hanger Kaiser was kept in, the entire crew swore a cold chill has entered that place like something truly dark and evil had entered the hanger with Kaiser. Many seemed more invested to avoid Kaiser if it can be helped others seemed more keen to make up excused not to be in there.
Ritsuko was a woman of science and despite Kaiser's unique power to slay EVA's it was still a machine in the end not a Demon. At the moment she had scanners and tech working on the blood samples she acquired from Akira and Kuzo. From the way they dress and fight Ritsuko suspected they were amongst those born after Third Impact and had unfortunately been stuck in a hostile environment.
"Doctor." Sakura said as she entered the room with some coffee.
"Ah Sakura thank you." Ritsuko said taking the mug from Sakura.
"So how goes the blood works?" Sakura asked as she was curious about their two new arrivals.
"So far slow running but it should be finished any minute now." Ritsuko said calmly as she looked to Sakura. "After this I plan to cut open that skull robot and put all these rumors to rest." Ritsuko said as she was tried of hearing people freaking out over Kaiser.
"Ma'am are you sure about that?" Sakura asked as she was hiding a cross on her person now. Ever Since Kaiser came on board there was a chill a coldness creeping through her spine every time, she got close to Kaiser. Several times crew members even swore they could see their own breath around the robot.
"Sakura all these occurrences have logical explanations to them, the heating system must be on the first around the hanger once we find the damaged part, we can replace it and move on with our lives." Ritsuko said as this was another reason, she needed to study Kaiser to finally get people to stop assuming it was an actual demon.
"But Doctor." Sakura said trying to convince Ritsuko not do to it but then the computer beeped. This meant it was done and thus Ritsuko sighed and returned to reality.
"One moment." Ritsuko said and in turn began to study Akira and Kuzo's charts. But as Ritsuko read through them her stern look slowly turned into a look of shock before she suddenly went to the phone and made a call. She did not even wait for Misato to respond before she was all but yelling at her. "Misato, we have a problem!" Ritsuko said and thus Sakura looked to the computer. On it was the name Ikari as Sakura realized what this implied here.
(Meanwhile with Akira and Kuzo)
"Well, this is boring." Akira said as he plopped down in a lounge area of the Wundur. The ship was almost ready to launch as he was waiting to hear back from Akagi and Katsuragi. "Why did we agree to come here again?" Akira asked as he glared at Kuzo.
"You heard Eve something big is going to happen, so we have to be there to deal with it." Kuzo said as Akira smirked to this.
"Yeah, but she's a real cold bitch sometimes." Akira added as he really wanted to cut something up.
"Well, whatever it is… we're bound to have a hell of a time." Kuzo said as he gave off an eager smile which Akira shared.
Just then the door opened and from it the form of Mari entered the room. "Yo." Mari greeted as she entered. "So, you're the Skull boys that's everyone is talking about." Mari said greeting the pair.
"Yeah… and you are?" Kuzo asked as he gave the new arrival a skeptical glare.
"Mari." Mari introduced and thus Akira ignored her right after.
"Great now hit the road." Akira said only to be surprised when Mari got close and sniffed him. Akira acted and proceeded to kick Mari back causing her to yelp in shock and pain.
"Personal space skank!" Akira snapped as he glared at Mari who was already getting back up.
"Sorry… but you kind of smell like the puppy and the princess." Mari said with a glint of mischief in her eyes.
"Good to know now go." Kuzo said as he was getting annoyed with Mari and her presence here.
"Jeez fine whatever you say little hellhounds." Mari said with a smirk on her face because if her nose was right then these two were going to be most interesting. She could already tell both of them were on edge itching to sink their claws into something to fight something.
Soon as she exited the room the door opened before she could grab it. From there a group of WILLE Security detail entered the lounge. They moved towards Akira and Kuzo as they made sure Mari was behind them.
"Please step out of the room miss." One of them said as they surrounded the men. Akira grinned to this already reading the room. "You two are to come with us." He growled more towards Akira then he did Kuzo.
"Well, I was bored." Akira said as smirked. "Ask and ye shall receive." He added as he got up and reached for his knife. The troops saw this as Kuzo unclipped his guns while revealing them.
"I'll say this now… any last requests?" Kuzo edged as the soldiers all had guns ready to fire on them. The group got nervous as they saw the savage grins on the pairs faces showing that they were itching for a good bout of violence. In turn gunfire went off and from there the Skull Pilots charged at the WILLE Security guards. Akira had his combat knife drawn while Kuzo took out his guns. The fight was very one-sided as Kuzo fired his guns at the gaps between the WILLE troops armor while Akira went for the soft fleshy parts. The lounge was being stained with blood as Mari saw this and was both surprised and impressed by the pair.
"Ma'am the targets are active I repeat Ikari is GAUGH!" A trooper called out into the communicator before he was stabbed by Akira who smirked at Mari looking ready to kill her.
"Well Hellhounds indeed." Mari said smiling at what she was seeing take place.
(Meanwhile Back over with Misato)
Misato and Ritsuko were walking through the halls as the ship went on high alert. "One Security team isn't going to cut it with those two." Misato said as she lead the trip of herself, Ritsuko, and Sakura.
"How can you be so sure?" Ritsuko asked before Misato passed to Ritsuko a tablet.
"Their wrap sheets." Misato revealed as Ritsuko began to read through them and was shocked by what she was seeing right now.
"Shit." Ritsuko said realizing she had sent a security team to their deaths.
"We need to lock down the Wundur and the hanger do not let them get to their robot!" Misato ordered as they could not afford to take risks with these two onboard. "And send a security detail to Asuka we need to keep that boy and her as far away from each other as possible." Misato added showing that this was serious.
"I've already dispatched a security detail to her." Ritsuko said fearful of what could happen if Asuka learns what she had learned from Akira's results.
(Meanwhile with Asuka)
"Hey what's the big idea!" Asuka called as she was locked in her room with guards outside the door and inside the room.
"Commanders orders." The WILLE soldier responded as Asuka was trying to figure out what was going on. Her isolated room was crawling with these guard as Asuka had no way to get out without one of them being on alert.
(Back with Misato, Ritsuko, and Sakura)
"Of all the times for this to happen why now?" Misato growled as they had two very dangerous individuals roaming the Wundur now. One of them needing to be apprehended before the worse takes place. Just then gunshots were heard as they soon saw another security team firing at something down the hall. Just then two of them suffered headshots before Akira came in and slit the necks of the other ones. Sakura gasped in shock as she saw blood stains on his face as soon Kuzo joined and glared directly at the three officers.
"We warned you!" Kuzo called before Akira charged in and went directly for Misato. Misato took out her gun and fired at Akira, but he avoided the shots before Kuzo shot the gun out of Misato's hand. Before Ritsuko and Sakura could try anything, Akira kicked them both before pinning Misato to the wall with his knife to her neck.
Ritsuko was about to jump in when she and Sakura found Kuzo pointing his guns at the two. What followed was more guards showing up and thus saw Akira and Kuzo had their commanding officers as hostages now.
"What do you want?" Misato growled while glaring at Akira.
"Depends why you shits try to cuff us?" Akira asked as Misato refused to answer. Akira in turn pushed the knife deeper as this began to draw blood from Misato. "I'd talk if you value your life." Akira said showing he had no compulsions with killing her on the spot.
"Kill me and you'll never get out of here alive." Misato said and thus Akira chuckled to this and gave a deranged look at Misato.
"And that's the thing… I like a challenge." Akira said as it was clear he and Kuzo would fight their way out and enjoy every second of the resulting bloodbath.
"You may not value yourself but what will it say if the commander died alongside several of your best." Kuzo said making it clear what they wanted from the pair.
"You know what to say get your walking targets to back off and then we'll back off." Akira said as Misato knew that Akira had the edge in this confrontation. Misato looked into Akira's eyes and saw that he was not bluffing there was a killer in those eyes one that enjoyed the thrill of battle.
"Men." Misato began as they trained their guns on the pair ready to open fire. "Stand down." Misato finished much to everyone shared shock.
"You heard your commander stand down." Kuzo said and thus the soldiers all began to back off from the pair. "And drop your guns all of your guns." He added making sure none of them got any ideas here.
"Do it." Misato said and thus the soldiers followed ordered and dropped their guns. They even dropped their sidearms as they glared at the two pilots.
"Akira." Kuzo said and thus Akira growled before backing off and sheathing his dagger again.
"Never get to have any fun." Akira grumbled while Kuzo holstered his guns.
"Now an explanation if you would." Kuzo said making it clear that they wanted answers about what just happened.
(Meanwhile in another location)
A young woman was hiding behind a mass of red stone as she had binoculars over her eyes. As she hid, she observed a facility from afar. As she observed the scene, she had her scope zoom in watching the scene and saw how the location seemed to be producing more EVA Units. On the side she saw the crest for NERV and nodded.
"Bingo." The girl said before lowering her scopes and made sure her data was properly recorded here. Once that was done, she looked again but then went wide eyed when a bird masked entity appeared before her.
Moving back, she avoided a hand slamming down where she was. Running from the scene she headed towards a red vehicle and mounted it as its color allowed her to easily blend in. But blending in was no longer an option as she activated the thrusters of her Pilder Unit. Flying away she had the EVA Units chasing after her attempting to stop her escape.
"Damn." The girl said from behind her helmet as she continued to fly from them. "Come on." She growled while making her way to a steep ledge to the red waters down below. "There." She said before flying down and diving into the water with her Pilder. The EVA's were forced to stop as they saw that their target had just escaped from their grasp. They would need to dive in after her to prevent her from escaping otherwise she would reveal what she knew.
But just before they could dive in the crimson waters bellow burst outward and from there a massive form jumped out. Flying over the EVAs they were met by a figure whose shadow covered them. The figure had two slender arms spread out as it seemed to be wrapped in something. That something soon revealed itself to be wings as when the wings spread out on its head it revealed a lithe form underneath it. The last thing these EVA's saw was a blade and a demonic form before they died by this things hands.
(Meanwhile back on the Wundur)
Akira and Kuzo were sitting in a meeting room with a few other people there. Mari being amongst them as she hardly had a scratch on her. Amongst them was Maya, Misato, Sakura, Ritsuko, Shigeru, and Hyuuga. Akira noted a glare he was getting from several of the people here and opted to just ignore it and let them be. Asuka was also here as she had been released from her room after the chaos had been dealt with. Another thing to note was that there were several soldiers surrounding them as they had guns trained on him with Maya standing amongst the group.
"Are the guards really necessary?" Kuzo asked as he glared at the soldiers pointing guns at both him and Akira.
"Just a precaution in several ways." Ritsuko said as on the table were Akira's knifes and Kuzo's guns piled together. "Now as for your question." Ritsuko said wanting to get this done before anything else happens. "Now as you know 14 years ago Shinji Ikari had caused Third Impact resulting in the worlds current state, the Red Earth." Ritsuko said as Akira still found some things to question about that information.
"Yeah, we heard the story and all its iterations just cut to the chase." Akira said as he glared at Ritsuko growing impatient with her. "Why did you have your grunts try to lock us up?" Akira asked and thus Ritsuko sighed before Misato nodded to her.
"You share Shinji Ikari's DNA." Misato said making it clear on what they had discovered. "Basically, you're his clone." Misato said and thus Akira raised a brow to this for a moment.
"Wait so he's the brats crotch spawn?" Asuka asked as she glared at Akira but noticed an odd look from Ritsuko.
"In a way yes." Ritsuko said as she knew there was another thing about him one that Asuka needed to be made aware of.
"And?" Akira asked showing he didn't much care for that.
"Wait you knew?" Ritsuko asked seeing how Akira responded.
"No, I just don't give a rats ass." Akira said as he wanted the truth. Seemingly unaware to him Maya had been moving behind them trying ever so quietly to do something. But the moment she got behind Akira she struck but instead Akira's eyes narrowed, and he grabbed her arm before flipping her over and slamming her onto the table. Everyone jumped when he did that and seeing as how the Table shook Maya had hit it hard.
Maya cried out in pain as she was holding her hurting hand as Akira stood there spinning a familiar collar around his finger. "A DSS Collar am I right a good way to keep anyone in line via threat of their heads being blown off?" Kuzo asked as he saw the collar. "Now why would you think it was a good idea to make us wear that?" He asked as he had no illusion, they would have made him wear one of those things if they managed to get Akira to wear one.
"We can't let that thing do as it pleases!" Maya yelled as she swore Akira may have broken her arm.
"And who's going to stop us?" Akira asked as he smirked down at Maya the woman forced to see the killer in Akira's eyes here. "Maybe if you paid attention, you would have known we fight because we wanna fight we smash because we wanna smash and we don't need any justification." Akira said making it clear that for him and Kuzo it was about the battle and nothing else.
"So, the next time you want to put one of these things on us ask yourselves how many of you will we take down before our heads blows up." Kuzo said showing that they were not above killing the crew. The tension began to rise once more as everyone looked ready to start another brawl. Misato glared at the pair the most as she saw the resemblance Akira shared with Shinji now that she had time to look at him.
But before anything could be done the entire ship shook and from there alarms were blaring. "What the hell?!" Asuka asked after the shake caused them to stumble a bit.
"What did you two do?" Maya asked knowing they had time to roam while fighting their way through the Wundur.
"What makes you think it was us?" Akira asked but Misato got on the phone.
"Helmsmen report!" Misato ordered and thus they got to it.
"We've detected enemy units it's the Nemesis series with a NERV EVA Units leading them!" A crew member from helms called and thus everyone knew they had bigger fish to fry.
"Everyone battle stations now!" Misato ordered and thus everyone got moving.
"I'll head to my Unit-02 now." Asuka said but Ritsuko stopped her.
"No Asuka we still haven't had time to repair it fully yet." Ritsuko said reminding Asuka of how Kaiser cleaved her EVA's legs off.
"Guess its up to me now." Mari mused with a smile on her face. "So, you two plan on joining Hellhounds?" Mari asked as she looked to the pair who proceeded to ignore her.
"Nah I'm sure WILLE Has this all under control." Akira said with a sarcastic tone showing that he knew they did not. Misato and Ritsuko glared at him knowing he was trying to edge them to retaliate against him.
(Meanwhile outside the ship)
The Nemesis EVA's were flying around or surging through the red waters as they attacked the Wundur and its fleet. They were flying about causing as much damage as they could in order to eliminate WILLE's mighty fleet.
Amongst them was a navy-blue EVA unit that hovered over the battlefield with its arms spread and a halo over its head. Its red visor eyes glanced down upon the battle while it moved on through.
The Pilot one Kaworu Nagisa glared at the scene as he knew that the source of the change originated from Kaiser. "Show yourself devil I must not allow you to interfere." Kaworu said as he tried to draw out Kaiser.
(Over in Wundur Command Deck)
Misato, Shigeru, Ritsuko, and Hyuuga arrived in the command deck of the ship as Akira and Kuzo followed them. "What's the situation?" Misato asked as she looked to the gathered members of her crew.
"The enemy just came out of nowhere we've already began to counter them, but the Nemesis Series are weaving through most of it." A larger man said reporting this in.
"Mari is about to deploy." Another woman, a pink haired one, said as she then saw Akira on the deck. "What are they doing here?" She asked and Akira smirked at her.
"We're just observing your menagerie." Akira said which cause Kuzo to smirk there.
"Didn't realize you knew that word." Kuzo said and thus Akira glared at his partner.
"Shut your mouth, faggot." Akira snapped while glaring at Kuzo.
Misato ignored them and got down to the bigger problem. "We're down an EVA and are under attack." Misato said and then sighed to this.
"Commander, you have to admit that being down an EVA Mari is on her own." Ritsuko said as Misato knew that they only had one other option left here.
"I know." Misato said and in turn she had her next order to give out. "Prepare the Wundur for launch! Have Mari deploy from the lower hatch so she can give us a jumps tart." Misato said as it was time to put the Wundur to use.
"Yes ma'am!" Another crew member called out as they carried out the Commander's order.
(Meanwhile over in the battle)
The lower hatch opened and from it Mari deployed in her pink Evangelion Mk. 8. But as she floated through the red waters towards the EVA's engine she smirked.
"Ok so we're going to have to give her a jump, no problem." Mari said while she floated through the water. As she moved, she made her way across the Wundur via the window area bellow. The crew saw her moving by but before she could go further, she was suddenly blindsided.
Mari was wide eyed when from the red waters a Nemesis surged through and nailed her EVA. Mari cried out as the Nemesis surged and went for the surface. Once it breached through Mari and her EVA were sent flying and landed on one of the stable grounds around the Wundur with a crash. Mari hissed in pain from the phantom pain of the synch with her EVA unit.
Mari then moved when the EVA Mk. 6 attacked and forced her to move back. "Shit, they knew what we would do!" Mari cursed realizing they've been had.
(Command Deck)
"They saw that coming!?" Maya asked shocked to see this.
"Dammit." Asuka cursed as Akira began to smirk with Kuzo.
"Mari, can you make it to the engine?!" Misato asked but Mari had bad news.
"No, they're surrounding me!" Mari called out showing she was in a jam right now.
"Dammit." Misato cursed and then Akira began to laugh loudly. Everyone heard and glared at him for that as Kuzo was smirking while Akira laughed.
"You think this is a joke!?" Ritsuko asked accusingly at the possible clone of Shinji.
"No, I think hysterical that none of you seem to remember the robot that just moved in." Akira said and in turn Misato recalled Kaiser.
"Are you offering to help us after what happened last time?!" Asuka asked as she grabbed Akira by the collar of his vest.
"Are you assuming I'm going to help you guys out of the goodness of my heart after you tried locking us up and putting a bomb around my neck?!" Akira countered which surprised everyone in the room.
"Your not going to help!?" Maya asked as even Sakura was shocked by this revelation.
"No but Kuzo and I might be convinced otherwise." Akira said as it was clear what he was doing now.
"Are you honestly trying to blackmail us?!" Shigeru asked no doubt angry that Akira had the balls to try that.
Misato growled as she heard the alerts from Mari as she was being overrun. Mari was a good pilot, but she wasn't that good and with Unit-02 still in repairs they needed some help. The fleet was doing all it could, but this attack was strategic in their movement patterns. Kaiser has already shown to be able to face AT-Fields without much issue for it.
Thus, it was with heavy burden that Misato spoke her words. "What do you want?" Misato asked glaring at Akira and Kuzo.
"Oh?" Kuzo asked feigning ignorance with his words.
"What do you want from us?" Misato asked as everyone looked at her in shock for what she had asked.
"A few things but those can be negotiated later." Kuzo said as he made it clear that they are being convinced now.
"What we want, as a down payment, is for you to look us in the eye and ask us for our help." Akira said as now the crew was getting angry. "Come say it, will you please help us." Akira edged as Misato clenched her fist with rage. Shinji never had the gall to do something like this and despite the similarities in appearance Akira and Shinji were two completely different people here.
Misato then let the rage go and swallowed her pride. "Akira, Kuzo." She began as everyone paid attention to her words. "Will you please help us." Misato said and thus Akira smirked to this.
"Now was that so hard?" Akira asked clearly playing with fire which was well within his MO.
"We'll head out now." Kuzo said and thus he and Akira took their leave to head to the hanger where Skull Pilder was stored.
"Get Kaiser moved to the upper launch bay." Misato ordered and while the crew didn't like it, they obeyed none the less. Kaiser was their best bet to win this now. But once Akira and Kuzo were out of listening range Misato had another order here. "Monitor their robot closely we need some sort of counter measure made to bring it in line or take it out." Misato said as she rather destroy the robot then let someone who was out of control and dangerous have it. The crew saw that Misato was playing the long game now and for the time being they'll follow along.
(Later back at the battle)
Mari cursed as she fought back against the Mk. 6 who had a spear on its person. She then had to dodge an attack from the Nemesis Series as she was being ganged up on. "Shit." Mari cursed again when an attack from behind grazed her EVA Unit's left shoulder.
Then the Mk. 6 moved in to attack only for a rocket to suddenly hit its face giving Mari a chance to avoid it. What followed was Skull Pilder flying by buzzing past the EVA Mk. 6's head before going back to the Wundur. Soon enough the upper launch bay opened and from there Kaiser rose up from inside.
Mk. 6 and the Nemesis Series all saw Kaiser as Skull Pilder moved in to dock with the ghastly robot. "ALRIGHT HERE WE GO!" Akira began before Kuzo finished it off.
"PILDER ON!" Kuzo invoked and thus Skull Pilder shifted into its skull form and docked in Kaiser's crown. Kaiser's eyes flashed blue and thus the Skull Robot was again ready for battle. Kaiser was quick on the uptake as with a mighty roar from Akira he jumped off the Wundur and slammed the Ganzanto on the ground creating a powerful shockwave that blasted everything around Kaiser away. Mari was also hit but she managed to hold her ground if only barely.
"Hey, you ever heard of friendly fire?!" Mari asked when she saw what Kaiser just did with that.
Neither pilots responded however as Akira roared out and charged into battle once more. Kaiser swung Ganzanto taking out every foe he came across mowing down the Nemesis Series left and right. Kaworu in his Mk. 6 watched as Kaiser tore through the Nemesis Series with savagery unseen in humans. Needless to say, Kaworu had varying concerns over what he was seeing from this battle.
"We'll clear a path just get ready to use it!" Akira called out to Mari not at all bothered that she got annoyed with them. Mari hearing this saw Kaiser once more charging into battle as he sliced through his foes while charging. It was clear that he was not one to back down from a challenge as he showed the same brutality, he did against the Mass Production series. The Nemesis Series then began with hit and runs as they flew in attacked Kaiser and then flew away. Kaiser managed to take a few out but they just kept up with the cowardly tactic.
(Meanwhile in Skull Pilder)
Akira had a scowl on his voice as he was getting very annoyed with this cheap hit and run tactic the Nemesis Series were currently using. "Dammit these things are annoying!" Akira snarled as he tried to take them out.
"Switch out to me, this is like shooting skeets." Kuzo said and in turn they switched Kaiser over to its ranged style.
(Back to the battle)
Kaiser stabbed his Ganzanto to the ground and proceeded to pull out the Breast Triggers. Armed with his guns now, Kaiser opened fire on the Nemesis series taking them out like a trained seasoned gunslinger. Shooting through the Nemesis Series Kaiser cleared the path so the Mk. 6 can get to where it was needed.
Taking the chance Mari went through as she fired a few gun shots at the Nemesis Units and went for the water for another attempt.
Soon enough Kaworu decided it was time to join the fray and commanded his EVA to hover down before Kaiser. "Tell me, how did your machine come to appear so ghastly?" Kaworu asked as this got the pilots attention.
"So, there is a pilot in there, this makes things far more interesting." Akira said as Kuzo had to agree with Akira there. After all what fund was it fighting mindless machines who are only following their programming and preset orders. "And to answer your question that's kind of a long story but the point is… only Kuzo and I can handle piloting it." Akira said making it clear that no one else could handle Kaiser's power like he and Kuzo.
"I see…" Kaworu said as he observed Kaiser long enough. Something inside the young man told him that whatever Kaiser was, it was something truly horrifying to bare witness too. "If I must face you then destiny shall see to your defeat." Kaworu said unaware he just said something he should not have said.
(Meanwhile over in Kaiser's cockpit)
Kuzo's eyes narrowed as he glared at Kaworu when he said that word just now, destiny. "Why that pompous twink sound shit stain." Akira snarled as he glared at Kaworu and the Mk. 6 from his seat. "Switch out with me Kuzo!" Akira called but Kuzo refused him.
"No." Kuzo said which then left Akira surprised. "There are two types of people I hate in this world, the first being clones, and the second… being people who use Destiny!" Kuzo snarled as it was clear Kaworu had said a trigger word.
"Well, if it means that much to you go ahead Kaizer is all yours." Akira said with a smirk on his face now. "But, Kuzo, if you get your ass into some deep shit." Akira trailed off which Kazu understood.
"Yeah, Akira, I already know that." Kazu said and thus he was ready to fight on.
(Back at the battle)
"I'll take you on!" Kuzo called out as he made Kaiser take a battle stance. "Why don't you kill a little time with us!?" Kuzo edged as he was clearly showing that he was ready to fight off a brutally slaughter the Evangelion Mk. 6.
"Very well." Kaworu said and in turn the Mk. 6 threw its spear at Kaiser who then side jumped and opened fire upon the EVA.
The EVA in turn sent out these drones from its person that produced AT-Fields for it. The Mk. 6 then proceeded to jump over and land behind Kaiser to attack it from behind. But Kaiser switched the grip of one of his Breast Triggers to the tomahawk grip. Kaiser then swung the blade at Mk. 6 only for the EVA to backpedal avoiding the attack. Then using the momentum, the EVA grabbed Kaiser by the arm and proceeded to fling it over its shoulder.
But Kaiser was fast as he fixed his trajectory with a spin before taking aim and opened fire upon the EVA. Mk. 6 once more used the drones to stop the bullets, but it was not to be as the drones were soon destroyed by Kaiser's use of its powerful firearms.
"Tell me why, do you hate the word Destiny so much?" Kaworu asked as he looked to Kaiser through his EVA.
"Shut up!" Kuzo roared out with a savage snarl and in turn opened fire on his enemy once more. The Mk. 6 moved out of the way as Kaworu knew the sort of damage those guns can do to an EVA Unit.
(Meanwhile back on the Wundur's Command Deck)
"Is it just me or does that Skull Psycho more unhinged then normal?" Asuka asked as she saw how Kuzo seemed to react to someone using the word Destiny like it was an unforgivable offence.
"Is this something we could use?" Misato mumbled as she saw how Kuzo was becoming wilder as things progressed when the word Destiny was used.
"Hard to tell I'll need more data." Ritsuko said before they focused on the battle.
(Back in the battle Mari)
Mari was almost at the edge when all of a sudden two tendrils shot out and wrapped around the Mk. 8's neck. The EVA was soon being choked out as Mari cried out in shock and pain from the attack. "Shit they really don't want this thing to fly!" Mari cursed as she was being choked out through her EVA. She then cried out as the Nemesis unit tightened its crip around her EVA's neck. She could feel the air beginning to cut off for her.
(Back in the Wundur)
"IF Mari can't reach the target, we can't start the Wundur." Misato cursed as the long way was taking too long. Asuka glared at the scene as Misato moved to the communication link. "Kaiser move to intercept!" Misato ordered but go no answer until Kuzo.
"Shove it up your ass I'm busy!" Kuzo responded as Misato snarled to this one. "I'm not one of your soldiers anyhow." He added as Misato was tempted to shoot him and Akira if they survive this.
"Commander new contact has been detected." Shigeru called as they all saw it on the scanners. "It's coming in at Mach 5!" He added and from there all eyes widened in shock.
"Friendly?" Asuka asked as they needed to know.
"Unknown." He responded and thus all eyes went to the screen that displayed this.
(Back at the Battle)
Mari cried out as she tried to get free but before she could reach for a weapon a shadow flew over the area. All eyes went to the shadow as it seemed to look demonic and female in nature. From its arms it threw out blades the sliced into the Nemesis Units around her and freed Mari of the one that had a grip on her neck.
"What is that on our side?" Mari asked as soon the figured landed with wings wrapped around its form. The blades it launched earlier returned to its arms that were spread out either side. Soon the wings parted revealing a female robot that looked similar to a succubus with bat like wings on her head and horns where her nipples would be. She took a battle stance as everyone was surprised to see the new arrival help them.
Kaiser saw this as Akira grinned at the arrival. "The Wingle!" Akira called out when he saw this and thus got Kuzo to change focus.
"Eve is that you?!" Kuzo asked revealing the new arrivals name both robot and pilot.
"Lucifer, Amon we need to deal with the Nemesis Series." Eve said from within the Wingle as she was dressed in her pilot suit with the helmet on. "We need to get this vessel flight able so control yourselves and focus." Eve said and thus the guys didn't like it.
"Fine." Akira and Kuzo said and in turn they changed targets to the Nemesis Units.
"Wundur please respond this is Wingle Unit operated by pilot callsign Silene." The pilot Eve called as she tried to contact the Wundur.
(Wundur)
"This is Wundur we receive you." Maya said surprised that this new arrival knew about the Wundur.
"Good I am here to assist what is the current situation." Eve asked as she was willing to work.
Misato sighed as she had a few choice words to share but for now added muscle was much appreciated. "We need to jump start the engines but to do that we need someone underwater." Misato said and thus Eve seemed to consider it.
"Very well have the EVA work with Kaiser I'll go under." Eve said before ending the call.
"Wait what do you mean?!" Asuka asked but the communication link had already been cut off.
(Back to the battle)
Wingle's left breast opened revealing a hilt inside it with the spike extending to become a handle. Wingle then drew it out as a blade shot out of the hilt revealing it to be a foil type rapier weapon. The hilt then began to spin causing the weapon to vibrate at an ultra-high frequency similar to the EVA's Prog Knives.
Soon several pf the Nemesis Units were riddled with bullets curtesy of Kaiser who charged into the battle once more. Passing by the Ganzanto and Akira and Kuzo switched positions and after holstering the Breast Triggers Kaiser grabbed his sword to tear through the Nemesis Units. The two mechs stood around the Mk. 8 and then proceeded to tear through the Nemesis Units with ease.
While both were demonic in design, they're styles were polar opposites. Kaiser was brutal, savage, and efficient but Wingle was fast, agile, and elegant.
Moving to the edge Wingle and Eve knew that they had to move. "Kaiser get the EVA back onto the ship!" Wingle said before spreading her wings out and flying upward. She then performed a flip before zooming into the water with a might red splash.
"How do you expect to." Mari began but then cried out when Kaiser grabbed her EVA by the arm and with a mighty show of strength flung it onto the Wundur. Mari cried out in shock as she flew across the sky before crashing onto the hull of the Wundur.
"That answer your question?" Akira asked with a cocky tone. Kaiser then returned to fighting off the Nemesis Units as he cleaved and shredded his way through them all. The Ganzanto was being bathed red in the blood and the innards of Kaiser's enemies.
(Underwater)
Wingle swam through the water her eyes glowing to allow her a clear view of what she was looking for. Soon she got to the engine and proceeded to prepare her weapon for her part. "Wundur Crew I'm at the target preparing to initiate." Eve reported and thus the crew knew they had to acts.
(Meanwhile back in the Wundur)
"Get ready to ignite the engines!" Misato called and thus the crew got to work. Their seats began to rise up a hatch and thus the Wundur's systems began to switch over in preparation for takeoff.
(Back with Wingle underwater)
Wingle then proceeded to stab its Foil into the indicated location and from it heat and sparks bubbled through the red water of Second Impact. Eve growled under her helmet as she had Wingle keep up the pressure until the Wundur could properly launch.
Systems were heard being activated as Wingle had molten metal land on her. The molten metal did very little damage as the robot kept the pressure going. "Kaiser… get on the Wundur!" Eve ordered and thus the pilots had to hurry or get left behind.
(Kaiser)
Akira roared as he cleaved another Nemesis before seeing the Wundur was starting up. "Alright then!" Akira called out as the Ganzanto's handle extended into a shaft. Kaiser then threw the weapon like a Javelin to the ground ahead of him while Akira roared before he charged towards it.
Using his own sword as a springboard Kaiser was launched to the air and with his metal hands dug into the Wundur's hull to get a good grip on the side. Kaiser began to climb up to the ship as it began to rise up to the air for its long-awaited maiden voyage. Kaiser kept climbing until he saw a pink hand offered to him.
Akira saw that Mari had Mk. 8 offering its hand to Kaiser. But the Skull Robot simply smacked the hand away and climbed up on his own. Once Kaiser was on level ground Akira fired off one of Kaisers fists to grab the Ganzanto. The fist flew and grabbed the weapons handle before returning to Kaiser. Sheathing the weapon Kaiser was made whole once more as the Nemesis Series tried to attack. The Wundur flew upward with a fleet of battle ships accompanying it held up by its AT-Field. But before the Nemesis Series could attack Wingle flew out and proceeded to take down each Nemesis Unit.
The Winged demoness flew about taking out every foe it could get to until only one Nemesis Unit was left. It got to the Wundur but was instead met by Kaiser who proceeded to cleave it on two. Its blood spilled onto the hull as soon Kaiser and Wingle joined with the EVA. But one fact remained if Kaiser was the king of Hell, then that would make Wingle his Hell queen.
(Meanwhile the command deck)
Everyone began to let out a sigh of relief as they managed to best the Nemesis Series. Though many were upset because it was Kaiser and Wingle who did it now the Wundur. Some were shocked others were worried but then the communications reactivated.
"Wundur this is Wingle do you still copy?" Eve asked as she contacted the Wunder crew.
"We read you Wingle." Misato responded with a neutral tone.
"Requesting permission to dock with the Wunder." Eve said and thus with the battle over it was time to retrieve their fighting machines.
"Permission granted." Misato said and thus all eyes looked to her in shock.
(Meanwhile on the ground)
Kaworu watched as the Wundur flew away his EVA was damaged but can make the trip back to NERV. As he stood there, he could only glare at the scene no doubt wanting to eliminate Kaiser but now was not the time. Still, he found it odd that he sensed something familiar from that robot.
(Scene Break on the Wundur)
Crews were getting Kaiser and Wingle into the appropriate hangers as there was a lot of screaming and yelling between the crews and equipment acquisitions. Misato entered the hanger with Asuka and Mari as they saw the Skull Pilder parked next to a new red vehicle. Judging from the fact that Wingle's crown was gone it stood to reason this new vehicle was Wingle's control module.
The cockpits glass slid open, and the pilot stepped out. Skull Pilders cockpit had already been opened as the two psycho's were currently drinking some water that was offered. Approaching the new arrival Misato saw how she pulled out a military bag and noted she had a leather whip.
"Eve, I assume?" Misato asked once she got close enough.
"Yes." Eve responded her voice while filtered by her helmet struck some familiar chords here.
"Now I'm going to ask you two why didn't you mention you had a support unit?" Misato asked glaring at the two pilots.
"Three reasons, first we're not part of WILLE we're basically independent mercs." Akira began as he made it clear they were freelancers. "Second reason, you never asked." Akira added with a cheeky tone in his voice.
"And most of all she was deep behind enemy lines we couldn't take risk and expose her position." Kuzo said and thus that made sense as well.
"Which I am grateful for, but hiding is no longer an option." Eve said before she began to remove her helmet. When she did everyone was wide eyed at what they saw. The young woman before them was also fourteen as she had green eyes that carried a red hue to them, brown hair that was edged with azure blue, and a skin tone that was pale yet carried a healthy light tan to it.
"Allow me to begin with introductions, I am Eve Ayanami pilot of the Wingle and at the moment carrying valuable information about NERV that WILLE can act upon." Eve said and thus everyone had no clue how to react.
"Ayanami wait your not saying." Asuka began as but Eve cut her off.
"Yes, Rei Ayanami is my mother." Eve said and in turn WILLE was shocked by this. First Ikari's clone and now an Ayanami screw up that thinks Rei is her mother. Rei can't have kids but then again, no Ayanami clone looks as human as Eve Ayanami does. Just what was going on with the world today.
(Scene Break Gendo Ikari NERV)
NERV stood in what appeared to be a meeting room as around him were several shadowed figures. These were not the members of SEELE but were human beings with less than stella a reputation. They all served his purpose well especially since SEELE had not been in contact for well over 14 years. They each were useful to him in varying ways NERV supplies them with their beloved pillars and they in turn serve NERV.
Third Impact an apocalyptic level event that had brought out the evils inside man's hearts. It does not matter Gendo would use them and discard them when they are of no more use to him. It was all for Yui all so he can finally be reunited with his beloved Yui.
"There is a new powerful foe roaming the Red Earth." Gendo said as he got their attention. Some of them looked excited for such a powerful foe to exist. "Thus, I issue this challenge anyone who manages to destroy the Skull Robot shall be given priority of any and all tools and equipment requested." Gendo said as the holographic men all looked to each other salivating at the challenge.
There was even a woman amongst them to show that human madness was universal. "How you deal with them is of your own volition as long as you bring me its head then your rewards will be great." Gendo said making sure that all the warlords of the Red Earth knew what to expect here.
"However." Gendo added as this got the groups attention. "If you somehow manage to capture the Skull Mech then the initial reward, I offered will be much grander than anything more powerful pillars, and most of all the territories of any who have failed in the task." Gendo said and in turn all the group gathered here were now sporting mad grins on their faces. They may be different, but their reasons are the same, violence, greed, lust; these are the worst that humanity has to offer. They will find this mech and they will take all that they can from the world, riches, woman, and much more. "Now go." He said and thus they all vanished leaving only a pale white room.
Soon enough the door behind Gendo opened and Kouzu entered. "Nagisa has returned." Fuyutsuki said as he spoke to Gendo.
"So, the Wundur is operational now even without Unit-01." Gendo said showing that he did not expect it, but it was only a minor divergence.
"Yes, and it's only a matter of time before they come to us." Fuyutsuki said and in turn Gendo had other ideas on how they will proceed with the plan.
"Katsuragi is a brilliant strategist, but she is more like me then she cares to admit." Gendo said as he could read Misato like a book now. "She will produce for us Unit-01 and the Third Children." Gendo said as he knew Shinji's weakness was in Misato's grasp. The compassion of Shinji Ikari will be Gendo's path to attain his goals.
